00:00:00.000 the concept of remigration. It's a pretty simple concept, as you can understand. Immigration is

00:00:05.400 when people come here. Remigration is when people go back. Over the last, especially through the 1.00

00:00:10.160 tail end of the Trudeau administration, immigration got so out of hand. Official figures for permanent

00:00:15.960 residents were in excess of half a million. When you factor in temporary foreign workers,

00:00:20.720 foreign students, these pathways that are technically supposed to be temporary streams

00:00:24.900 of immigration, but with strong paths to permanent residency, our immigration figures were well

00:00:29.880 over a million a year and we can see the impacts on their society the housing sector inflation

00:00:35.480 increasing unemployment especially amongst youth and elderly the more vulnerable segments of of

00:00:41.480 the employment sphere all of these are massive problems but also we can see how our country's

00:00:46.360 been transforming especially over over recent years we see massive cultural festivals of foreign

00:00:52.520 cultures we see we see violence and tribal conflicts playing out in our streets and even

00:00:57.400 the largest kind of civic demonstrations are mass protests about foreign issues be it israel

00:01:03.240 palestine or calistani referendums or a sikh ethnostate in a foreign country like this is

00:01:09.800 some of the most massive political demonstrations that we're seeing on a on a regular basis and it's

00:01:15.080 really eroding canadian identity we don't see the same kind of civic participation from real

00:01:20.200 canadians heritage canadians and i i think that's having a damaging effect on our society writ large 1.00

00:01:25.160 so as i see it the the only solution is not just to to reduce numbers as some people are getting

00:01:31.480 more comfortable saying you know mark carney pierre polyev there seems to be a general consensus

00:01:36.040 that things have gotten a bit too out of hand we need to slow things down a bit but really that's

00:01:40.120 not enough after the last few years like it's not enough to just plug the hole in the in the ship

00:01:44.840 we have to start bailing out water and that's where this concept of re-migration comes in
