00:00:00.000 So the judge has just ruled.
00:00:07.480 Hi and welcome to Blossom Talk. I'm Kersti Flohr, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:11.880 and your voice of reason in a town built on the illusion. It's my birthday today and what a gift,
00:00:19.300 you guys. Finally, we are seeing some justice here. This is pretty amazing.
00:00:25.180 so the judge has just ruled. In his ruling he is questioning if there ever really was harassment
00:00:34.660 and if there ever really was a smear campaign. This is a huge win for Justin Baldoni and it
00:00:42.760 doesn't stop there. The judge gave Justin Baldoni another win yesterday. He allowed Justin and his
00:00:50.220 team another week to look through the dump of new evidence that Blake Lively just filed.
00:00:57.500 1,000 pages of irrelevant documents and 40 witnesses. Yeah, there's a lot to talk about.
00:01:06.020 Also, I found an interview with a medically diagnosed sociopath. And this is so eye-opening
00:01:14.060 to me and really explain a lot of the things that I didn't understand about this lawsuit.
00:01:20.980 So yes, let's get into it. Before I start, though, I want to thank everyone for all the
00:01:25.840 great feedback for my interview with Rob Shooter yesterday. It was such a juicy conversation,
00:01:32.580 you guys. So if you haven't checked that out yet, you really should. Not only what he says
00:01:36.960 about Blake and Ryan, but all the inside Hollywood scoops that he shared with me and you guys
00:01:43.340 yesterday. Anyways, let's get into this ruling that makes me so excited today. Okay, I'm going
00:01:48.600 to try to explain what really happened here. It's a little bit complicated, but you know there's not
00:01:52.880 only one lawsuit involved here. Blake Lively, as you know, of course sued Justin Baldoni and the
00:01:57.980 Wayfair parties and they sued Blake Lively, Leslie Sloan, Ryan Reynolds, New York Times back. But on
00:02:03.860 top of that, there's another lawsuit that's really interesting and plays a huge part in Blake Lively's
00:02:10.200 lawsuit and that is stephanie jones lawsuit against jennifer abel and the wayfair parties
00:02:16.020 including justin baldoni she's the company that justin baldoni hired to do the publicity
00:02:21.980 for him during it ends with us she's also the person who grabbed the phone of her ex-employee
00:02:27.900 jennifer abel gave it to blake lively who gave it to the new york times so as you know everything
00:02:33.280 in blake lively's lawsuit is basically based on what they found and the entire angle of that new
00:02:39.440 Times article was based on one text message that they found, we can bury anyone. So now the judge
00:02:47.500 has ruled on the countersued that Jennifer Abel and the Wayfair parties brought against Stephanie
00:02:56.480 Jones. They sued her for four counts. Two of them did not survive, which was breach of contract
00:03:03.740 basically but two of them did survive and it's going to trial one of them being defamation
00:03:12.480 and that is what's really interesting here first of all because that opens up discovery for what
00:03:19.420 really happened between stephanie jones and blake lively's team through this discovery process
00:03:26.560 We're going to see documents, phone calls, text messages between these parties planning everything that they did against Justin Baldoni.
00:03:39.120 And something that really caught my eye in this ruling is when the judge said this.
00:03:44.000 He said, to be defamatory, a plaintiff is ultimately required to prove that the alleged fact is false.
00:03:53.120 This is quite interesting because if Blake Lively is claiming this smear campaign against Justin Baldoni,
00:04:00.920 I assume that she also has to prove that the information that was spread about her was false,
00:04:08.140 which we know that she can't even point to any articles that printed lies about her.
00:04:13.440 Justin, on the other hand, was accused of a lot of things that I believe,
00:04:17.800 and I think most of you guys also believe, that he's not guilty of.
00:04:20.800 And the judge continues, the Wayfarer alleges that the statements made by Jones and Jones' works about Wayfarer were false.
00:04:30.080 Counter claims as not only was Jones well aware that Lively had not actually been harassed on set,
00:04:37.120 she also knew that there had not been a smear campaign.
00:04:41.220 That is sufficient to survive a motion to dismiss.
00:04:44.840 So the judge said there is no evidence of a smear campaign
00:04:48.340 and there is no evidence of any harassment at this point.
00:04:52.680 So the fact that Stephanie Jones claimed those things to be true
00:04:57.140 could totally backfire on her.
00:05:00.500 You also have to keep in mind that Justin Baldoni's lawsuit
00:05:03.120 against Blake, Ryan, Leslie, and New York Times
00:05:06.020 was dismissed not because of lack of evidence of what they were claiming,
00:05:10.660 but because the judge said you can't sue someone that has sued you first for harassment
00:05:15.920 because there are anti-slap laws that are designed to shield harassment accusers.
00:05:24.160 So yeah, the judge acknowledges that the harassment accusations could be false
00:05:29.640 and that the smear campaign could be false
00:05:33.000 and that someone chose to spread that information anyways might cost them a lot.
00:05:41.240 Yeah, it's not a good day to be Stephanie Jones or Blake or Ryan for that matter.
00:05:46.280 New York Post picked this up saying Justin Baldoni legal win against Blake Lively
00:05:51.240 will expose even more explosive messages.
00:05:55.000 It says here in a legal case that already spilled more tea than the 1773 Boston party
00:06:01.600 the Blake Lively vs. Jussie Baldoni illegal saga is poised to deliver even more.
00:06:07.980 On Thursday, federal judge Louis Lyman ruled that Baldoni's defamation lawsuit against his former publicist Stephanie Jones can proceed.
00:06:17.040 This is a big loss for Jones, who was sued not by Baldoni himself, but his production company Wayfarer.
00:06:23.720 The ruling also subjects a number of players in the sprawling narrative to the possibility of discovery, including Jones, as well as Lively's publicist.
00:06:34.840 Oh, yes, we're going to see more from Leslie Sloan.
00:06:37.660 And here they have a quote from a spokesperson from the Wayfair parties saying that the court further allowed claims to move forward that Stephanie Jones of Jones' work acted in bad faith,
00:06:47.720 including feeding harmful narratives to third parties and undermining her own client during
00:06:54.400 a critical moment. These are not minor disputes. They are claims the court has found substantial
00:07:01.140 enough to move forward into discovery. We are confident the full record will expose
00:07:06.380 how these narratives were manufactured and why. So yes, I was just looking at Stephanie Jones
00:07:14.220 Instagram it's of course private and now I couldn't find her company on Instagram anymore
00:07:18.960 Jones Works is gone from Instagram and their website there's just some like information on
00:07:24.140 how to contact them so I'm thinking Stephanie Jones is probably in hiding although this is
00:07:31.160 really funny her attorney came out and said this is a huge win for Stephanie Jones listen to this
00:07:39.540 comment this is so funny so kristin taller said this to tmz uh she said this is an overwhelming
00:07:48.040 win for miss jones the court dismissed the centerpiece of wayfarer and boldoni's claims
00:07:54.140 and it's gone for good the court also made clear at this early stage it was not evaluating any
00:08:01.540 actual evidence of course because they're at an early stage so they're not evaluating evidence
00:08:07.840 Yes, that's procedure, that's very normal.
00:08:10.960 Even so, Wayfairer could not point to a single shred of evidence to support their claims,
00:08:16.260 underscoring once again that their claims have no factual basis.
00:08:21.160 I love that she's coming out saying that this is a win,
00:08:25.920 while her client has to face these two other charges, which are terrible for her.
00:08:31.520 Really, really bad.
00:08:32.880 And all the media outlets are writing about this as it is a big win for Baldoni and Stephanie Jones' attorney is like, no, no, no, no, no, we won.
00:08:42.500 Yeah, so TMZ's headline is Judge Greenlight's defamation suit ex-publicist.
00:08:49.460 A rep for Wayfair tells TMZ we are pleased with the court's decision to deny Stephanie Jones' attempt to dismiss Wayfair's lawsuit and to allow our court claims, defamation and bad face conduct.
00:09:02.360 Yeah, it's amazing how these attorneys just keep lying to the press
00:09:07.260 and saying that this is great for Stephanie Jones.
00:09:10.960 That is the biggest joke ever.
00:09:14.860 Okay, so let's talk about this dump of documents that Blake Lively just threw at Justin Baldoni's team.
00:09:21.780 It was a thousand pages and 40 witnesses, including myself.
00:09:27.160 And I want to show you this interview with a real sociopath.
00:09:30.160 half and how I feel like her way of thinking and her personality fits some of the players in this
00:09:38.420 game. Anyways, before we get into that, I wanted to thank the two sponsors of this video, Wayfair
00:09:44.520 and Flamingo. But before we get into that, I wanted to thank the two sponsors of this video,
00:09:50.340 Wayfair and Flamingo. Okay, I've been in full spring refresh mode lately and I've been spending
00:09:55.420 a lot of time on Wayfair planning how to upgrade our apartments. I love the clean modern Scandinavian
00:10:02.080 look with a bit of warmth so I've been looking at a lot of lighter bedding, some new outdoor furniture
00:10:07.760 and cushions of course. Cushions upgrades every space if you ask me. I have a mission to make
00:10:13.620 things more clean and organized so I've been looking at a lot of smarter storage solutions.
00:10:19.540 What I really like about Wayfair is that it's so easy to find what you're looking for. You can
00:10:24.200 filter by style, price, size, and it doesn't feel overwhelming. And I always check the reviews,
00:10:31.660 which makes me feel a lot more confident before I order. I also love, love, love that they're
00:10:37.640 offering assembly options. Because if I'm being completely honest here, I'm really not that keen
00:10:43.040 on spending hours of putting furniture together. I already have a wish list going, including maybe
00:10:50.520 some stuff for my studio here and my home office needs a little bit of an upgrade. Yeah, who doesn't
00:10:57.340 want a more elevated and functional space? If you're thinking of refreshing your space this
00:11:02.760 season, you should definitely check this out. Find furniture, decor and essentials that fit your

00:11:21.500 Also, a big thank you to Flamingo for sponsoring this episode.
00:11:25.160 Okay, I have to mention this because I genuinely love when something turns a chore into actually self-care.
00:11:31.100 For me, self-care are things like playing tennis, cooking with Magnus, walking Oscar, doing my skincare routine.
00:11:38.640 But shaving? That's always felt like something I just rush through.
00:11:43.340 And half the time, I end up with some irritation somewhere on my skin.
00:11:47.600 And the result? Not always so good.
00:11:50.160 But that totally changed when I tried Flamingo.
00:11:52.780 First of all, the razors just feel different.
00:11:56.200 It has a really nice weighted handle, so it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
00:12:00.240 And the shave is so smooth.
00:12:03.000 No irritation, no bumps, and my skin stays soft for days.
00:12:08.780 I love that this brand is created, especially with women in mind.
00:12:12.540 I also love this cover that makes it easier to just put away somewhere
00:12:15.620 without anything getting messy.
00:12:17.100 Their starter set is actually amazing.
00:12:19.860 It comes with a razor, a cartage, this really nice foaming shave gel,
00:12:24.460 a dermaplane razor for your face, and even a shower holder
00:12:28.380 so your razor isn't just laying around somewhere.

00:13:03.440 So please support my channel and tell them I sent you.
00:13:06.400 Okay, so let's get into it.
00:13:08.040 People Magazine is actually reporting on this dump
00:13:12.320 from blake lively's side so yesterday jesse baldone and the wayfair parties wrote in an
00:13:18.960 email to the judge saying hey blake lively's team just dumped a thousand pages on us of new
00:13:26.000 evidence a lot of it is social media posts and websites and whatever and also she sent us a list
00:13:35.420 of 40 potential witnesses and you know the deadline is getting closer to the trial and
00:13:41.600 before the trial both parties have a deadline to submit all pre-trial material to the judge so the
00:13:48.920 judge know what witnesses they're going to bring to trial and also what kind of evidence they're
00:13:54.640 going to bring to trial and the reason for Blake Lively's team to dump all of this on the wayfair
00:13:59.060 parties now is just to pile on extra work on them which is so unnecessary because they don't want
00:14:05.140 them to be prepared for trial obviously they want to make it as difficult as possible for them so
00:14:10.740 the Wayfair parties told the judge hey judge this is ridiculous and we can't look through all of
00:14:16.080 these thousand pages by the deadline for the pre-trial material so please give us an extra
00:14:21.980 week because of this dump and Blake Lively's team hurried up and wrote back to the judge saying
00:14:28.240 don't give them more time they just want to delay things and that's that's their strategy blah blah
00:14:34.980 blah and the judge said i don't care i'm gonna give them an extra week for this so another win
00:14:41.680 for justin baldoni so people magazine picked this story up saying justin baldoni and co-defendants
00:14:47.940 accuse blake lively side of document dump as judge grant request for extend pre-trial deadline
00:14:55.520 the judge granted baldoni request extending pre-trial deadline and setting an april 2nd
00:15:00.340 status conference as both sides clash over trial prep weeks before May 18. May 18 is the date of
00:15:08.760 the trial as we know so far it could be pushed who knows a lot of things can happen before then
00:15:14.520 but they do have a meeting on April 2nd that also you guys can actually dial into. We can't record
00:15:21.600 the meeting but we can observe what's happening in the meeting. It says here that the filing points
00:15:26.840 to the 38 year old actress identifying more than 40 potential witnesses I've gone through the
00:15:32.760 witness list before can you imagine 40 people being witnesses for Blake I mean how many people
00:15:40.320 were directly involved in the movie that are going to witness for her well according to the list it's
00:15:46.740 only people that's on her payroll like her makeup artist and hair person some people from Sony though
00:15:53.340 But mainly what caught my attention are all the people who has nothing to do with this lawsuit whatsoever.
00:15:59.620 People like Gigi Hadid and people like Ryan's niece.
00:16:04.240 She has Ryan's niece on her witness list.
00:16:07.940 Also, Ryan's mother is on this list and her own sister is on this list.
00:16:15.040 And I am on this list as a potential witness, unless it's been updated since October.
00:16:21.500 I don't know if that has happened we haven't seen a new list from her but according to that list
00:16:26.920 I am a witness and also Hugh Jackman what does he know he only knows second-hand information
00:16:34.860 from Blake and Ryan who's been talking crap about Baldoni directly to him what kind of witness
00:16:41.420 is that he was never at the set of it ends with us and how would he know if the Wayfair parties
00:16:48.400 was involved in this alleged smear campaign also we have scooter brawn on this list because he is
00:16:56.120 i think the founder or part owner in tag this crisis management company so how would he know
00:17:03.800 what the crisis management company was up to like melissa nathan who is working for tag how would
00:17:09.520 he know that they just put celebrity names on here to look more powerful i don't know uh he hasn't
00:17:15.960 been deposed or anything like that so I don't know if he could even be a witness and then you
00:17:20.500 have Alexis Bledel who's Blake Lively's co-star from Traveling Sister Pants whatever that movie is
00:17:27.020 and she is also on this list what does she know was she there and as you know Claire Ayoub this
00:17:34.020 other person who once worked with Baldoni on another project and she was so upset with him
00:17:39.760 because she wanted to double the budget of the movie and he said no and then she said that he
00:17:45.180 verbally abused her and Blake Levy wants to use that information in her lawsuit. Anyways all of
00:17:51.540 this is just so bananas to me. Anyways as I said I found this interview with a sociopath. She is
00:17:59.300 medically diagnosed as a sociopath and I found this so interesting because she was being completely
00:18:05.560 honest about her lack of ability to feel guilt, empathy, to feel any regrets. She also talked
00:18:15.660 about the feelings that drive her a lot, which is rage, content, and disgust. And she also talks
00:18:23.480 about what a good liar she is and how she is a master in manipulating. And also something very
00:18:30.860 interesting. She said about being in love or being in a relationship, which is very different from
00:18:37.660 how other regular people feel when they're in love. And the things that she said of the length
00:18:44.120 she would go to protect a partner, because she felt that when she was in a relationship with
00:18:49.660 someone, that person would be an extension of herself. So she would do anything to protect
00:18:57.840 this person and she could spend months planning revenge on someone anyways here are some of the
00:19:07.860 things coming straight from a sociopath you react out of coldness and a long calculated strategy
00:19:15.040 i can spend a year two years working on a plot to get back at somebody don't experience empathy
00:19:21.100 guilt or remorse i think the strongest emotions i feel are rage contempt contempt is probably the
00:19:27.200 strongest feeling I have. Disgust. I've been in love twice and I will decide to love them. I will
00:19:32.680 do whatever's in their best interest because I see them as an extension of myself and I would never
00:19:37.500 want myself to be harmed. So if anyone with me is you know attacked or bullied or treated poorly by
00:19:44.960 anybody I will be there no matter what and yes I would risk prison for them. My manipulations are
00:19:50.280 so fantastic and I can lie better than I would say anybody. The lies are what makes the sociopath
00:19:56.500 the lies are the one the lies are the only things keeping us going yes listening to this I was like
00:20:03.020 oh this explains a lot of the mentality that these some of these people involved in this lawsuit
00:20:09.300 might have these are traits that I think describes exactly the traits of a person that could go after
00:20:18.960 someone like Justin Baldoni the way that they did. Because to normal people who have empathy
00:20:25.740 and sympathy and are basically honest human beings, they would never be able to go through
00:20:33.240 with something like this and to keep pushing it and never stop and never give up. And I think if
00:20:40.380 you're able to do that based on so many lies, I think you might have something like this woman
00:20:48.200 has allegedly allegedly anyways thank you guys so much for watching I really appreciate all your
00:20:55.500 support and please keep watching please keep commenting please hype my videos share and
00:21:02.960 whatever all that good stuff is I really really appreciate it and if you haven't subscribed of
00:21:07.740 course do that and hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Flossom Talk
00:21:11.800 and I'll see you soon
00:21:18.200 Thank you.
