00:00:00.000 I mean, there have been some speculations that there is more than just friendship between the
00:00:05.120 two of them.
00:00:10.520 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk, I'm Zach D. Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:14.940 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion. Okay, is Hugh Jackman's girlfriend
00:00:23.140 Sutton Foster putting pressure on him to break up with Ryan Reynolds? It certainly looks like
00:00:29.980 it. Insiders are speaking out about how far Hugh Jackman's loyalty goes when it comes to Ryan and
00:00:37.660 Blake. And let's look at Tom Cruise and Taylor Swift's very strategic friendship. Is Tom using
00:00:45.200 Taylor as an armor and as a protector during this very vulnerable time when he's promoting
00:00:51.080 his movie and aiming for an Oscar? We all know how brutal those campaigns can be. And is Taylor
00:00:58.420 using Tom to get her husband into Hollywood. Let's look at that and also let's talk about
00:01:05.200 why Tom Cruise decided to have an open shirt at that GQ cover. And women are being criticized 1.00
00:01:13.380 and attacked all over the internet for criticizing Sydney Sweeney's ad. And apparently the reason why 1.00
00:01:20.880 women are criticizing her is because they're jealous and ugly. How ironic is it that the people 0.94
00:01:27.580 who are being criticized for criticizing Sydney Sweeney
00:01:33.200 for objectifying women's bodies
00:01:35.800 are being objectified for doing that.
00:01:39.260 But who are the real winners and losers here?
00:01:41.600 Let's talk about that.
00:01:42.760 And also a big thank you to everyone
00:01:44.860 who watched my documentary,
00:01:46.820 Social Media, Kill the Movie Star.
00:01:49.180 And it's still, of course, available on Amazon
00:01:51.980 for everyone who wants to watch it.
00:01:54.320 It is in all of these territories.
00:01:56.300 is. I'll leave a link below to that as well if you're interested. Okay, so let's get into it.
00:02:00.920 According to this report, Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman's new girlfriend, is not friends with
00:02:08.300 Blake Lively and she doesn't want Hugh Jackman to be friends with Ryan Reynolds anymore. It says
00:02:14.400 here, not having it. Sutton Foster's ultimatum to Hugh Jackman amid Ryan and Blake drama. According
00:02:21.800 to Hollywood insiders, Sutton and Blake don't get along and it's causing issues for close friends
00:02:28.360 Hugh and Ryan. There are no photos of Blake Lively and Sutton Foster together and I find that very
00:02:35.320 telling. They are not hanging out. It would be the most natural thing in the world for them to go
00:02:40.580 double dating but they're not doing that. And that's obviously because Sutton Foster doesn't
00:02:44.840 want anything to do with this extremely toxic couple. It says here that Hugh and Ryan's bromance
00:02:50.800 has been going strong for coming up two decades but the friendship could have an expiration date
00:02:56.960 if Hugh's girlfriend has anything to say about it. It was interesting because I spoke to a publicist
00:03:03.300 about that and she told me like if I was Hugh Jackman's publicist I would tell him to stay
00:03:09.260 far far away from Ryan Reynolds in the public space. At least you know you can be friends
00:03:15.520 behind the scenes but don't show it publicly but Hugh Jackman is not listening to advice but he
00:03:21.840 might listen to his new girlfriend Sutton Foster it says here according to insiders Sutton has been
00:03:27.980 putting the hard word on Hugh to distance himself from his longtime friend and co-star and the
00:03:34.680 personal baggage he brings with him which is largely due to his wife Blake Lively's ongoing
00:03:40.380 career dramas. Sutton and Blake don't get on and combined with the fact that Blake's recent legal
00:03:46.680 issues have affected Ryan's career Sutton's right to be fearful of Hugh hanging out with Ryan
00:03:51.900 as source tells Women's Daily. As you know Hugh has been by Ryan's side throughout this entire
00:03:58.140 legal drama. He's the only A-lister who's actually stuck with this couple. Any other stars who's
00:04:05.520 been photographed with them the last couple of years the only reason they've been by their side
00:04:11.360 is because they were promoting projects and they were under contract to do so like Anna Kendrick
00:04:16.520 had to do that with another simple favor and of course Kenneth Branagh had to do that with Ryan
00:04:22.260 Reynolds as well because they have the Mayday movie on Apple TV together and it says here that
00:04:27.740 Hugh's not having any of it of course he's always been a loyal friend has seen so many of his
00:04:32.660 close mates go through hell and he's always stood by them. The insider says of the men who traveled
00:04:38.600 to Spain together recently for the celebrity sail GP boat race. He knows Ryan's not doing so well
00:04:45.540 and wants to help him get through this no matter who it upsets. So is he willing to sacrifice his
00:04:51.880 relationship with Sutton Foster to hang out with Ryan Reynolds? I find that very suspicious if he's
00:04:59.420 doing that if he's choosing Ryan over Sutton. I mean there have been some speculations that there
00:05:05.880 is more than just friendship between the two of them and if that happens I don't know what to
00:05:10.860 believe anymore. So now we have to see if Hugh Jackman is willing to sacrifice his relationship
00:05:16.140 with Sutton for Ryan Reynolds. It says here that it's not the answer Sutton wants to hear especially
00:05:23.920 since there's no love lost between her and Blake.
00:05:28.140 They've been rumoured the Broadway actress and the Hollywood star have no real affinity
00:05:32.860 and haven't been able to forge a connection despite their partner spending so much time
00:05:38.320 together.
00:05:39.160 Even going on the occasional double date hasn't helped Sutton and Blake break the ice.
00:05:44.240 Okay, so they might have been on a double date here apparently.
00:05:47.500 I'm sure that when they started dating, she was introducing her to Blake and Ryan, but
00:05:52.940 who knows how many times after that, that that happened.
00:05:55.640 A source said last year,
00:05:57.080 when it comes to Blake one-on-one with Sutton,
00:05:59.580 they've never had a deep and meaningful friendship.
00:06:02.360 I wonder who planted this story.
00:06:04.920 Is this coming from Hugh Jackman's camp?
00:06:07.680 And is this a way to say, you know,
00:06:11.020 he's just such a loyal friend.
00:06:13.500 So that's why he's not breaking up with Ryan,
00:06:16.280 but his partner doesn't like Blake lively.
00:06:20.160 So he also gets that out there.
00:06:22.280 So yeah, who do you think planted this story?
00:06:25.420 Anyways, let's get to Tom Cruise's friendship with Taylor Swift.
00:06:30.440 So Blake now has been replaced by Tom Cruise, apparently.
00:06:34.020 This is quite interesting, the two of them teaming up here, especially now.
00:06:39.960 As I said yesterday in my lengthy video about Tom Cruise,
00:06:44.260 he has just started a huge Oscar campaign for his movie Digger.
00:06:50.820 He hasn't done a campaign like this for years because he's only made action movies.
00:06:57.280 He's never had to go out there and sell something the way he's selling this movie right now.
00:07:03.100 And when he's doing that, this happens every year throughout the Oscar campaigns.
00:07:10.360 Publicists are brutal. 0.99
00:07:12.280 They're dirty. 0.98
00:07:13.140 They're trying to dig up stuff about the other contenders. 0.73
00:07:17.460 and somehow it leaks online and when they manage to put another actor in a bad light
00:07:25.540 there is a bigger chance that the actor that they're representing is going to go home with
00:07:32.380 that Oscar and of course that is going to give them money. So the Oscar is a big money game and
00:07:39.580 Tom Cruise knows this and he knows that he's risking a lot putting himself out there like
00:07:44.560 this and as I mentioned yesterday he started off this Oscar race by opening up in this in-depth
00:07:51.460 interview in GQ where he says absolutely nothing but he does say something with this cover so he
00:07:59.520 did open his shirt and the reason why he did that was one because he wants everyone to see he's not
00:08:06.840 old he's still in great shape we know he's 64 but look what a great shape he is in so don't think
00:08:14.160 that he is going anywhere and he's still an action star, although in this movie he plays
00:08:19.280 something very different. Another reason for opening up his shirt like that is because he
00:08:24.700 wants us to believe that we actually get to know more about who Tom Cruise is. Look at that, he's
00:08:32.840 showing some vulnerability and at the same time we're supposed to think that he's sexy. There's
00:08:39.300 something extremely asexual about Tom Cruise I don't know what it is I don't think it has anything
00:08:44.500 to do with his age but it's just something really really off about this cover and according to Rob
00:08:51.080 Shooter an insider shared with him that Tom was of course in control of everything here he's in
00:08:57.840 control of every single detail with everything that he does we know that and he heard that Tom 0.78
00:09:03.620 wanted sexy masculine and movie star hot but absolutely no nipples he says here that he
00:09:12.740 controls every frame with Tom Cruise even looking spontaneous is carefully planned yes we know that
00:09:17.940 and there was even a firmer boundary that this journalist was not allowed to ask Tom Cruise
00:09:22.460 and that was about Suri she was off limits as I spoke about in length yesterday Tom Cruise
00:09:31.200 pretends that he's sitting down for this exclusive in-depth interview finally opening up about
00:09:37.860 whatever and he's not saying anything nothing we learned absolutely nothing about Tom Cruise in
00:09:44.500 that interview so that brings me to Tom Cruise aligning himself with Taylor Swift as I mentioned
00:09:51.280 yesterday as well there were pictures of Taylor Swift and Tom Cruise everywhere a few days ago
00:09:58.600 They were photographed in the NFL suite on Monday together and everyone was like, look who's friends here.
00:10:08.380 This is so amazing.
00:10:09.940 Anyways, Daily Mail did this story today that I found pretty interesting.
00:10:15.520 They're saying, secret Tom Cruise phone call that made Taylor Swift roll out the red carpet.
00:10:21.880 Backstage meeting that left her overwhelmed.
00:10:24.840 and the one conversation topic that's totally off-limit inside Hollywood's most A-list new
00:10:32.860 friendship. So apparently it says here that Tom Cruise people called Taylor Swift's people in
00:10:39.160 2024 to get him tickets to her concert and then he went backstage afterwards and congratulated her
00:10:46.420 and Taylor was like whoa got a little starstruck and from then on they created this kind of
00:10:53.580 friendship and then taylor introduced tom to her then fiance or boyfriend travis kelsey and the two
00:11:01.320 of them were seen joking around at the wembley together so it's obvious that they're also really
00:11:07.540 good friends i wouldn't be surprised if tom cruise shows up at travis kelsey's podcast in the very
00:11:14.720 near future by the way anyways it says here that it's been two years of friendship since the eras
00:11:20.960 tour and people online have been speculating what this friendship really means and the internet's
00:11:27.400 wildest theories here according to the daily mail is that this unlikely pairing is a hush hush
00:11:33.560 business venture a days of thunder sequel cameo or cruise pitching scientology to pop's most
00:11:41.320 powerful woman according to an insider here the two of them have a very close bond they had they
00:11:47.900 They hang out together when they're in the same city.
00:11:50.700 On the surface, they seem like they're worlds apart, but they're really not.
00:11:56.480 Their bond has only strengthened as they have discovered they share a rare understanding of life at the very top.
00:12:03.720 They have so much in common and they both get what they each have to deal with in life.
00:12:09.120 The source added, Taylor learns so much from talking to him.
00:12:12.780 And Tom loves seeing everything she does and appreciates her artistry.
00:12:18.600 And as we also saw, Taylor Swift invited Tom Cruise to her wedding.
00:12:25.220 And as we've seen over and over again, a lot of these friendships in Hollywood are just strategic friendships.
00:12:33.060 They're just about being photographed together to put out a message to the public.
00:12:38.340 And that is exactly what this is all about.
00:12:40.960 It says here that Tom will open doors for Travis and Tom may even give Travis a role in Days of Thunder 2, which would be a great fit, the source added.
00:12:54.300 Here you go. Taylor Swift wants Travis to get into two movies and to become an actor or just to have a part in this movie.
00:13:02.800 she wants tom to open doors for her husband and they're also speculating here that maybe
00:13:09.780 tom asked her to have one of her songs in days of thunder because there's not much that tom can do
00:13:16.640 for taylor's career she i mean she's one of the biggest pop stars in the world so what can he do
00:13:23.580 to help her that's not the question the question is what can he do to help her husband and in
00:13:30.440 return maybe he'll get one of Taylor's songs in the movie who knows. So in Days of Thunder 2
00:13:37.200 obviously his ex-wife Nicole Kidman is not a part of that film and Hathaway has accepted that role
00:13:45.320 instead. I can only imagine what it feels like for Nicole Kidman because she knows the real truth
00:13:51.700 of what goes on behind closed doors with Tom Cruise and to see Ellie's stars being willing
00:13:57.880 to work with him must be kind of heartbreaking for her because everyone knows what happened there
00:14:04.240 everyone knows what happened with Katie Holmes but as I talked about yesterday a lot people put
00:14:09.960 their blinders on Hollywood has put its blinders on because Tom Cruise is making them a lot of
00:14:16.080 money and where goes all that money that Tom Cruise makes well he's not spending it on houses
00:14:22.580 or fancy cars. As he's been saying in this revealing interview, he doesn't even have a home.
00:14:29.160 Every place is his home, whatever. And he basically says he doesn't have a personal life. He doesn't
00:14:35.020 have a private life. So where does this money go? It goes to Scientology. So all the people that
00:14:41.700 are aligned and work with Tom Cruise are helping fund Scientology. I found this very interesting
00:14:48.760 video yesterday of ex-Scientologists who have come out and spoken out who's been close to Tom
00:14:55.760 Cruise. Tom Cruise is a different level. Even amongst Scientologists, the youth, the Energizer
00:15:02.360 Bunny, and also the psychopathy. He's a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. So he's a total... He's not very
00:15:09.120 bright, dude. He's very childlike, which is part of the cult indoctrination. And since he's been
00:15:14.540 so surrounded by David Miscavige in that environment. He's super age regressed. He's
00:15:19.340 super childlike. Plus, he's only been a movie star his whole life. That can put you into a
00:15:23.720 whole nother bubble world. So you add his possible psychopathy, Scientology, and he's a movie star
00:15:29.000 where nobody calls him out. That guy is so far removed from anything that we would call
00:15:34.580 the real world. I won't diagnose Tom Cruise, but I will say that he is not a good person.
00:15:41.340 Cruise is actually much more fanatical than Travolta. 0.80
00:15:45.480 And he's also extremely, extremely narcissistic.
00:15:49.260 Anyways, I find it so interesting that someone like Taylor Swift,
00:15:52.500 she knows what Tom Cruise is all about.
00:15:56.160 She knows what Scientology is.
00:15:58.400 She wants to be seen with him.
00:16:00.580 She wants to be aligned with him.
00:16:02.420 I think that says a lot about her.
00:16:04.220 I also found it interesting what Lea Rehm and I,
00:16:06.640 you know, she used to be a Scientologist and she's gone out,
00:16:09.940 criticized them.
00:16:10.600 she made documentaries about them and she was speaking to joe rogan in an interview with him
00:16:16.160 on his podcast and she said so tara essentially has servants correct how many people a lot but
00:16:24.420 when you believe as a scientologist you are working for somebody who single-handedly is saving the
00:16:32.120 planet and you deserve that kind of punishment that's something different it's an abuse that is
00:16:39.620 not justified but it is justified because you believe that you are single-handedly saving the
00:16:47.620 planet and you can hear from Tom Cruise's early interviews that he keeps repeating that you know
00:16:53.400 nothing and I know I know I have the answer and the last 20 years he has learned how to hold back
00:17:02.100 on what he really believes and hide from the public what he really believes because he knows
00:17:07.680 it is hurting his movies. Anyways it should be interesting to follow his Oscar campaign now
00:17:13.980 and see how dirty this all gets and to see if Taylor Swift can and will be out there to protect
00:17:22.080 him. Anyways let's talk about this Sydney Sweden madness and how people are attacking women who are
00:17:29.840 criticizing this ad campaign for gambling because they're not attractive enough to have an opinion.
00:17:38.500 But before we get into that, I wanted to thank the two sponsors of this video, Square and HoneyLab.
00:17:44.780 As a business owner myself, I know how administrative things can become so overwhelming.
00:17:51.800 You're dealing with payments, invoices, reports, and countless other boring details.
00:17:59.240 And that takes away the focus on actually growing your business.
00:18:03.760 And this is where Square comes in.
00:18:06.560 Everything in one place.
00:18:09.280 Square brings payments, online orders, inventory, invoices, scheduling, and business reports
00:18:16.280 in one connected system.

00:18:25.780 that don't communicate with one another.
00:18:27.980 I also love that Square makes it possible for anyone who wants to sell something,
00:18:34.020 whether it's in person or online.
00:18:36.440 It makes checkout so easy, whether you're in a cafe,

00:20:43.940 experience the new standard in comfort and support with Honeylove. Okay, so let's get into
00:20:49.660 the Sydney Sweeney controversy again. I feel like everyone has an opinion about this at this point,
00:20:56.300 including myself. I've been reading a lot about other people's opinions as well and that's why
00:21:02.740 I wanted to bring this back a little bit because I saw this this morning. This is a post from
00:21:09.140 someone called Lauren DeMoss Benson and it really really resonated with me and I think it explains
00:21:17.720 exactly what's going on here. She says a gambling company uses a nearly naked woman to get attention
00:21:26.620 female athletes object to the sexualization and now they're getting attention too from people 0.99
00:21:34.320 calling them ugly, jealous, and bitter. The ad becomes an excuse to degrade even more women. 1.00
00:21:44.880 And the company benefits from all of it. The ogling, the outrage, the arguments. People don't
00:21:51.980 even have to like the ad to spread it. Women's frustration becomes free distribution for the 1.00
00:21:58.340 company they're criticizing. That's the particularly gross part. Women say stop reducing us to our 1.00
00:22:05.880 bodies and the response is you're just mad yours isn't that hot. The point gets buried under the 1.00
00:22:13.640 exact treatment they're objecting to. Look at what women are being offered here. Be sexual 1.00
00:22:20.520 entertainment or be the woman everyone mocks for questioning it. Either way men get something to 0.94
00:22:27.580 enjoy and the advertiser gets something to profit from. And Sweeney reportedly holds equity in the
00:22:34.380 company. She has a financial stake in its success. This is a business decision and criticizing it
00:22:40.620 isn't jealousy. A woman making money from objectification doesn't magically turn it into 1.00
00:22:47.700 empowerment. Companies hiring Sweeney knows that she is controversial. They've already seen backlash 1.00
00:22:54.680 make one of our campaigns go viral. We can't prove outrage was the plan, but let's stop pretending
00:23:00.500 another provocative ad causing it was some unforeseeable accidents. The company gets
00:23:06.120 attention from displaying a woman's body, then more attention when other women are humiliated
00:23:12.020 for objecting. That's what makes this worse than sex sells. Women demand an end to their 1.00
00:23:18.820 and even that becomes an opportunity to profit from it. I thought that was so well said. And 1.00
00:23:28.220 after I scrolled through that, this popped up in my Instagram. This is a post that says it all.
00:23:35.940 It's from Hodge Twins. And this person put out a photo of these four women saying,
00:23:44.300 the faces behind the hit pieces on Sidney Sweeney are getting passed around and people are saying
00:23:50.600 it speaks volumes. Then the person says a collage of writers who have gone after Sidney Sweeney
00:23:58.700 is spreading fast. The joke is simple. These are the people lecturing her in print. Sweeney has
00:24:06.540 been getting piled on for her looks, her success and the way she carries herself in public. A lot 0.99
00:24:13.320 of readers see the coverage as personal, not reporting. Would you take a lecture from the
00:24:18.900 panel? So this person says here that because he or she doesn't find these women attractive enough,
00:24:30.800 why should anyone listen to them? You are just ugly and jealous, so you should not have the 0.98
00:24:35.440 right to have an opinion. Of course, they're missing the entire point of why people are 0.99
00:24:39.820 criticizing this ad. They're not criticizing Sydney Sweeney for feeling free enough to take her clothes
00:24:45.880 off. They are criticizing the message of this ad. But the fact that women who are criticizing this
00:24:54.760 ad are getting attacked for being ugly and jealous says everything we need to know about these people
00:25:02.900 protecting and defending this ad. Women are saying stop reducing women to their bodies and the 0.54
00:25:09.020 response is shut up your body isn't as good as hers and here are the real facts sydney sweeney
00:25:14.380 is selling gambling gambling is not sexy it's not clean and it's not pretty it can mean financial
00:25:22.920 ruin families breaking up depression and most seriously people not wanting to live anymore
00:25:31.160 Here are some real facts about what Sydney Sweeney is trying to sell you.
00:25:36.400 11.1% of people with gambling disorder have attempted to do something to not live anymore.
00:25:46.100 I can't say that word here on YouTube.
00:25:48.280 And if you compare that to other people in that same category, that is just 4%.
00:25:54.120 So people with a gambling disorder are roughly three times more likely to do something like that.
00:26:02.000 And when it comes to divorce and separation, research has found that 10.3% of disordered
00:26:09.000 gamblers in the study sample experienced separation or divorced in the preceding year.
00:26:16.580 10.3%.
00:26:18.220 Earlier, U.S. National Gambling Research cited in the paper found lifetime divorce rates of 39.5% among problem gamblers and 53.5% amongst pathological gamblers, compared with 18.2% among non-gamblers.
00:26:39.060 Do we need to say more about what gambling brings?
00:26:43.220 And that's why I find the reactions to the criticism here so ironic.
00:26:48.980 Sydney Sweeney is talking to men.
00:26:50.760 Let's face it. 0.97
00:26:51.300 She's talking to men with this ad. 1.00
00:26:53.340 She wants to lure men onto this app so they can spend all their money there. 1.00
00:26:59.780 So she can get richer, by the way. 1.00
00:27:02.340 And she wants them to spend all their money. 0.93
00:27:04.740 And then when they spend all their money,
00:27:06.740 Do you think they're going to be in a healthy relationship with someone?
00:27:09.420 Does anyone want to be in a partnership with someone who's gambling?
00:27:13.380 No.
00:27:14.040 She wants to lure these men into becoming lonely, depressed, and broke.
00:27:19.420 So while these men are busy laughing at women,
00:27:22.420 not being attractive enough in their eyes to criticize Sydney Sweeney,
00:27:27.380 who's not offering them a date, by the way,
00:27:30.120 they are helping to promote an app that makes men miserable.
00:27:34.480 In the meantime, I'm wondering how people in Hollywood are looking at Sidney Sweeney now.
00:27:40.500 We know that Hollywood does not like controversy, and this is not the first time Sidney Sweeney
00:27:45.400 has done something like this.
00:27:47.440 So would they see it as a risk to work with her in the future?
00:27:52.360 And who knows what Sidney Sweeney's long-term career goal is, but if she wants to stay in
00:27:58.440 Hollywood and if she wants to get good roles, this is definitely not the way to do that. If the
00:28:05.780 controversy becomes bigger than the actress, she is walking a very fine line. So who are the winners
00:28:13.200 here and who are the losers here? I don't know. You decide. And before I go, also a big thank you
