00:00:00.000 I see Blake Lively coming toward me.
00:00:04.080 I mean, mad.
00:00:06.820 She was mad.
00:00:08.100 I'm not going to say any names, but I have an email saying,
00:00:11.240 it was Ryan Reynolds that got you fired.
00:00:14.080 Not only did I get fired, but my entire career was ruined. 1.00
00:00:19.240 He was going out of his way every time I saw him, just to be an asshole to me. 0.99
00:00:27.680 Hi and welcome to Blossom Talk. 0.99
00:00:29.240 I'm Särstig Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
00:00:36.480 Okay, I have the most amazing guest with me today, Todd Bryant.
00:00:41.880 Todd has worked in Hollywood for decades.
00:00:45.260 He started out as an actor in the 80s and then he turned his focus on stunts and became a stunt coordinator.
00:00:53.020 He worked with Will Ferrell for over 13 years as his stunt double.
00:00:57.780 he's done major major movies like the matrix jurassic park and of course all the real feral
00:01:04.980 movies get hard daddy's home zoolander and spirited todd's got over 135 credits to his imdb
00:01:15.400 so it's safe to say that todd knows a thing or two about working in hollywood i found todd bryant
00:01:21.680 on x where he was talking about his experience with ryan reynolds and how ryan reynolds got him
00:01:27.360 fired from his latest job and how he has been blacklisted in Hollywood ever since. He's here
00:01:33.840 now to talk about that. And guess what? He also had an experience with Blake Lively. So yeah,
00:01:40.400 let's get into it with Todd. Thank you so much for being here on Flossom Talk. You are amazing.
00:01:46.760 I just have to say that first. Thank you. You really are. Yes. No, we spoke on the phone the
00:01:52.560 for a really long time and you told me so many stories and I can't wait for you to share a lot
00:01:57.740 of them here. I think some of them are pretty unbelievable. You had to be there. You had to be
00:02:04.220 there. I heard about you from someone sent to me, I think, an ex post that you did where you said
00:02:11.260 that Ryan Reynolds got you fired from a movie because you've been playing Will Ferrell's
00:02:20.240 double stunt double for how many movies is it? A lot of movies, 13 years total. So I think there
00:02:28.240 was about 20 projects in there, 18 to 20 projects all through there with the stunt coordinating
00:02:33.260 and the doubling. And then something happened in 2022 when you did a movie with both of them
00:02:39.220 together. I got hired to double Will on a movie called Spirited for Apple TV. And I was not only
00:02:46.680 the stunt double, but I was also the department head, the stunt coordinator. So I had been working
00:02:52.660 on the movie for probably three months. I had about a month prep and then we were two months
00:02:59.320 into shooting and they mandated the COVID vaccine. So I've had some issues with vaccines in my past
00:03:07.700 and it gave me asthma really bad for many years, all through my childhood, all through my teen
00:03:14.320 years. And I always knew it was from the vaccine. At least I thought it was. So I'm adverse to
00:03:20.780 getting any shots, basically. I do everything naturally now. And I cured the asthma naturally
00:03:28.240 through a number of different things like fasting and healthy diet and eliminating certain foods.
00:03:34.940 So back to when they mandated the vaccine, it was when I was first starting the movie,
00:03:42.600 The contract never said the mandate was going to be in effect.
00:03:45.860 As a matter of fact, no one thought it would be.
00:03:49.020 So they...
00:03:49.940 When did you start?
00:03:51.160 So when did you start the movie?
00:03:52.420 That COVID was already in full swing when you started the movie?
00:03:56.460 Yes.
00:03:56.960 So we were doing all the protocols, testing COVID tests.
00:04:01.360 I was on zone A, so three times a week for me.
00:04:05.940 Also masking and distancing and everything they wanted us to do.
00:04:10.380 I was compliant.
00:04:12.600 Throughout the whole thing, I never got COVID.
00:04:15.520 I never had a positive COVID test.
00:04:18.900 I have the records to show all that.
00:04:20.800 So I knew I wasn't a danger to anybody.
00:04:23.560 And so when it came time for the vaccine mandate, I said, I can't take it.
00:04:33.040 And so I did everything I could.
00:04:35.860 I had people offering me, you know, fake cards, vaccine cards.
00:04:40.600 I had my stuff.
00:04:41.400 A lot of people were doing that.
00:04:42.340 i remember yeah yeah and uh i can't tell you how many people i knew on the crew of that movie that
00:04:49.760 were using fake cards and so many other people in the industry on different movies anyway uh so i i
00:04:56.800 just said no i don't i don't want to do that i'm i'm just gonna write an exemption letter i'll have
00:05:01.500 it written and i will present it to them and hopefully they'll they'll find it good enough
00:05:09.200 for legitimate to exempt me from the vaccine since I never got a negative test and I wasn't
00:05:14.720 sick. I never got COVID. So I went to Will Ferrell's dressing room and I gave him the letter.
00:05:24.120 It was in an envelope. I said, Will, please read this. And this is my letter of exemption.
00:05:28.760 Hopefully they'll accept it. And he's just kind of pretended he was on the phone and he said,
00:05:36.440 Oh, yeah. Anyway, I gave it to him. And that night was the last night that I was going to work that I didn't know if I was going to be fired or if they were going to accept the exemption letter.
00:05:53.340 So I'm on set and I'm coordinating this sequence of stunts and I see Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds standing there and they're about 20 feet away from me and they're talking about me.
00:06:09.140 They're looking at me and they're kind of like smirking and they knew that my letter wasn't going to be accepted and they knew that I was going to be fired, which happened the next day.
00:06:23.340 So, yeah, that's that that vaccine mandate happened and I still had two months left to work on the movie, which I was never paid for.
00:06:35.560 And I you were never paid for what you did.
00:06:40.100 I was paid for the first three months under a Screen Actors Guild contract that I had negotiated with production.
00:06:47.320 But the second they fired me, I did have a producer give me a severance of two weeks, but I still had two more months.
00:06:58.540 So there was six weeks that I was never paid for.
00:07:01.060 It's not a guarantee with SAG.
00:07:02.640 You don't sign a full—you're basically on a weekly contract.
00:07:07.440 And they knew that, and they knew they could fire me and not pay me for the rest of the show.
00:07:12.260 But they did give me a severance, which was because of this nice woman, Diana, who made sure I was going to get my contract.
00:07:22.760 And I think she fought for me.
00:07:25.840 And so that was basically what happened up until then.
00:07:29.780 But you felt that it was Ryan Reynolds that pushed for you to be fired.
00:07:35.160 Why did you think that?
00:07:36.140 okay well first of all i was told that since so i had an i had a feeling he did not ryan reynolds
00:07:46.860 did not like me from the start and i don't think he remembered that he worked with me on green
00:07:52.380 lantern i was a i was the stunt double for tim robbins who i go way back with tim calls me for
00:07:58.120 everything great guy uh but when i was working on green lantern i i would see ryan reynolds there 0.76
00:08:05.240 we'd work together on a sequence and he was just ah what can i say asshole a lot of people have
00:08:14.320 said that so you can definitely say that okay because i said it on x so i mean i pasted it 0.99
00:08:19.920 on his head so he was just a complete arrogant prick and he he he thought he was above everybody 0.91
00:08:29.200 so uh that that's that was what i got from him um not knowing he didn't take the time to say 0.99
00:08:34.940 hello to anybody or me or anybody. Just arrogant. So, and my take on it is just from knowing him
00:08:43.020 from then and from all the time I spent with him on Spirited before I got fired. When a guy is
00:08:49.960 arrogant like that, it comes from insecurity. The guy, you hide the insecurity with ego and
00:08:59.000 arrogance. And that's the kind of guy Ryan Reynolds is. He's very insecure. I don't know
00:09:05.520 why. He's not a bad looking guy. But for some reason, he's insecure. And I think he overcompensates
00:09:12.380 with arrogance and ego. So sorry for this quick interruption here. I just have to send a big
00:09:17.960 thank you to the sponsor of this video, Quinn's. You know, when you have certain favorite pieces
00:09:22.920 of clothing that you always reach for. That's what quince has become for me. I've been wearing a lot
00:09:29.540 of the pieces here on my show and I also wear it a lot in my free time. I just love the high quality
00:09:35.200 of the clothing and how it just makes you look so well put together. This top is obviously an
00:09:40.520 example of that and I'm sure you've seen me wear this 100% linen shirt so many times on this show
00:09:46.740 and this one as well just in another color and I don't go anywhere without this wrap now. It's
00:09:52.440 100% cashmere and it's so soft. Right now I already have favorites for fall including this
00:09:59.100 lightweight down packable puffer hooded jacket in my favorite color and this washable stretch
00:10:05.500 silk tie neck blouse for my flossom talk and you know I love my puff sleeves so I'm already eyeing
00:10:12.940 this one. What makes Quinn so amazing is the fact that they're making timeless essentials with
00:10:17.780 premium material, Mongolian cashmere, organic cotton, 100% linen. And because they work
00:10:24.940 directly with manufacturers, they cut the middleman, which is why they're able to keep their
00:10:31.100 prices 50 to 80% lower than similar brands. Download the Queen's app for app-exclusive

00:10:54.980 queens ask you where you heard about them please support my channel and tell them that i sent you
00:10:59.860 what was the question no i i said that you thought it was ryan reynolds behind you getting fired um
00:11:06.720 because i mean you told me on the phone that you you knew will ferrell for so long uh and you had
00:11:13.080 like close relationship with him so i mean just for that to happen someone you work with for like
00:11:20.020 you said so many years and so many projects that you would just get fired like that um
00:11:26.960 is that one of the reasons you believed also that ryan was behind it because you were like oh would
00:11:31.760 will do this to me really i mean he talked about you in interviews as well will feral of how amazing
00:11:38.060 you are i have a fantastic stunt double well in the first movie uh there were a lot of you're up
00:11:44.120 on the roof and there's a lot of uh there's a there are a lot of comedic physical comedy in
00:11:49.600 this one as well in which todd my stunt double did a lot of fantastic work in fact todd looks
00:11:56.700 pretty much like me from you can shoot him from the front i've been told by several people who
00:12:04.300 are high-level working department heads on Spirit and on the show. I have emails from someone who
00:12:11.500 is very tight with Will in his camp for 20-something years, works closely with him. I'm not going to
00:12:17.100 say any names, but I have an email saying, it was Ryan Reynolds that got you fired. I also have
00:12:23.400 another guy who is a department head, two other guys that said it was Ryan that was gunning for
00:12:29.560 me the whole time. And I had a feeling because he was going out of his way every time I saw him
00:12:37.780 just to be an asshole to me. So I had this rehearsal that we set up because Ryan requested 0.99
00:12:44.920 that he wanted to do a flip off of a mini trampoline and perform the flip himself and
00:12:53.040 not the stunt double. He said he could do the flip. So the director had a session.
00:12:58.760 I set up pads. I set up his landing. I set up the mini trampoline, the ramp, everything. Had it all
00:13:04.800 set up. Ryan and the director met me in the area and I demonstrated first. I hit the trampoline.
00:13:14.180 I got big air, did a flip, and it worked great.
00:13:21.320 Ryan was just acting weird.
00:13:23.340 He basically said, hello, and all right, let me look at this trampoline.
00:13:28.260 And he was just bouncing on it and checking it out.
00:13:31.900 And he was doing these little practice flips.
00:13:34.860 Turned out, he couldn't do the flip that he said he could do.
00:13:39.080 So him and the director talk a little bit.
00:13:42.120 he was saying, well, I need a better
00:13:44.160 trampoline. This isn't working.
00:13:46.080 And so he left
00:13:47.520 and the director said, Todd,
00:13:50.220 stick around for a minute.
00:13:52.400 So Ryan leaves. Director
00:13:54.140 says to me, Todd, show me the
00:13:56.140 flip again. I go,
00:13:58.180 sure. I run
00:14:00.160 on the ramp, hit the trampoline,
00:14:02.520 got big air,
00:14:04.140 did my flip. Perfect.
00:14:06.860 The director just looked at me and said,
00:14:10.080 hmm.
00:14:12.120 Okay. So I said, look, I can get another trampoline. We had it shipped in FedEx the next day.
00:14:17.380 I said, set up another practice. If he doesn't like, if Ryan doesn't like the trampoline,
00:14:21.580 I got a great brand new one from him being sent in. It cost a fortune to get it there.
00:14:26.720 Set up a rehearsal for the next day. I get a call from a productionist. I think it was the
00:14:32.680 director's assistant. She said, Todd, we're canceling the whole thing. Ryan doesn't want
00:14:36.720 to do it. He doesn't want to do the flip. He wants his stunt double to do it now. I said,
00:14:40.880 okay, that's fine.
00:14:41.940 Why didn't you put me through all this nonsense
00:14:44.100 if you can't do the flip?
00:14:46.780 I guess he thought he could do the flip,
00:14:48.380 but he couldn't do the flip.
00:14:49.640 So I think that kind of set up a dislike maybe for me,
00:14:54.920 maybe that I could do the flip and he couldn't.
00:14:57.940 I'm sure.
00:14:59.760 Yeah.
00:15:00.060 Yeah.
00:15:00.780 No, nothing surprised me.
00:15:02.040 I'm sorry to interrupt you.
00:15:02.820 I just feel like this story says so much about who he is
00:15:06.460 that he couldn't handle the fact that he couldn't do it
00:15:09.980 and you could do it and therefore he needs to punish you for that yeah that makes sense uh
00:15:17.440 and he punished me all right uh he he got me fired and he and not only did i get fired but
00:15:24.460 my entire career was ruined uh you know when you get fired off off of a show for not obeying
00:15:32.560 um hollywood tends to put you on a blacklist and that's the last stunt job i ever did except for
00:15:40.600 one job i did was steve o from jackass i coordinated him on a helicopter but that was
00:15:45.180 so you really haven't worked yeah so you haven't really worked since 2022 and this happened and
00:15:51.460 when you look at your imdb you have like 135 credits you've been busy you worked for so long
00:15:58.340 And then this happens, Ryan fires you and you don't work again.
00:16:03.640 Yeah, I wasn't ready to stop.
00:16:05.300 I had a few more movies in me before I retired, but I had fun doing it and I was still on a good roll and looking forward to some more movies.
00:16:14.820 But no, that was cut off.
00:16:17.660 But so regarding Will Ferrell, you asked how could he do this, right?
00:16:24.160 why why would he do this to your guy who's your personal stunt double for 13 years
00:16:30.180 and that you trust well i can tell you i know for a fact just knowing will because he's such
00:16:37.940 i was told that he doesn't like confrontation and he does look we never hung out the whole time
00:16:44.660 i worked with him we hung out on set we had to talk and i had to do things to coach him to do
00:16:49.800 stunts and I was doubling him. So we had a lot of interaction on set, but he never once invited me
00:16:54.860 to dinner. He never once had a drink with me or, you know, hey, Todd, occasionally after some time
00:17:04.340 he would ask how the family was and so on, but just never reached out to invite me to any kind
00:17:12.100 of event or a dinner or a lunch. It's like, okay, fine. I like it. It's good. It's probably better
00:17:17.960 to be that way but so i was told he doesn't like confrontation and uh so when i went to his trailer
00:17:28.580 with the letter and he pretended to be on the phone because he didn't want to talk about it
00:17:34.000 because i think he knew already i was going to get let go i really believe
00:17:40.180 that Ryan Reynolds didn't like me
00:17:46.120 and he wanted me gone
00:17:48.640 and they used this, he used it as an excuse.
00:17:52.260 Now, Will may have given him resistance
00:17:56.020 in the beginning and said, hey, it's my guy.
00:17:58.720 I'd rather keep him.
00:18:00.100 But I think ultimately, Will gave in to Ryan's pressure
00:18:04.840 and just basically went along with it.
00:18:09.500 Now, I'm not blaming Will for firing me.
00:18:12.020 I think he just went along with it.
00:18:15.140 Did you hear from Will after this?
00:18:17.040 Did he reach out to you at any point?
00:18:19.400 Not a word.
00:18:20.400 No?
00:18:21.640 Not a single word.
00:18:23.100 That's so disappointing.
00:18:24.440 I feel like I like Will Ferrell, and now I'm like, oh, I don't like cowards.
00:18:29.940 Why didn't he stand up for you when you've done –
00:18:32.660 I mean, he spoke about you, as I said, many times,
00:18:35.680 And he's so like supportive of you and admires you.
00:18:40.140 And then he doesn't even reach out after you get fired.
00:18:43.540 Oh, that's so disappointing.
00:18:45.960 Yeah.
00:18:46.720 And this tracks because when I was first doubling him, they did a, I think I mentioned this to you before.
00:18:55.380 They were doing Anchorman number two.
00:18:58.480 And they didn't want to give me my deal on that.
00:19:02.960 And we ended up not.
00:19:04.860 They called me and said, Todd, he had his, Will had his assistant at the time call me and say, it's not going to work out for this one, Todd, but maybe we'll call you for the next one.
00:19:15.060 So I said, okay, I think my career's with Will's over.
00:19:18.080 This was back, you know, the first two years I was doubling him.
00:19:22.300 and so what happened was with anchorman too after they they didn't want to use me on it and they
00:19:31.860 hired another stunt crew and another double for will i i said you know what i i found out who the
00:19:39.780 guys were that were going to be doing the show and i know for a fact just through reputation
00:19:45.720 experience that these guys weren't safe. So I took it upon myself to write Will an email because I
00:19:53.200 had his email and tell him, hey, just be careful. I'm not going to be there like usual, but
00:19:59.220 just really be careful. These guys are not safe and watch your back. Okay. So I get an email back
00:20:09.440 from uh his producer assistant uh i guess i can can i say her name or it better that's up to you
00:20:17.740 let's just say yeah let's just say i get an email back from will's uh former babysitter
00:20:28.260 who turned producer and she reprimands me for sending will an email and it starts like this
00:20:36.060 Like, Todd, you crossed the line.
00:20:42.740 You don't email Will.
00:20:45.760 How dare you?
00:20:49.260 It was basically a reprimand, right?
00:20:52.740 And I said, okay.
00:20:54.480 How dare you email someone directly?
00:20:57.660 Shame on you, Todd, for doing that.
00:20:59.620 That is outrageous.
00:21:01.780 Right.
00:21:02.680 Yeah.
00:21:02.940 And the email was just to what it wasn't because I was not bitter or anything like that for not getting hired.
00:21:09.240 Hey, I got other stunt jobs I could do.
00:21:11.440 I got I had plenty of work going on.
00:21:14.100 It was just another job for me.
00:21:15.760 But.
00:21:17.760 I get a phone call two months later.
00:21:21.780 From the set.
00:21:24.520 Todd, you're not going to believe this.
00:21:27.540 they just hung will by the neck with a noose and i said what do you what she says yeah he's in the
00:21:39.520 hospital they dropped him with a noose around his neck and he hung there for 10 seconds before they
00:21:51.600 got to him he was choking to death will had a marks they had to stop production he had marks
00:22:00.980 all over his neck they checked him out they started production they ended up firing the
00:22:06.160 stunt coordinator that day and it was amazing because i mean i didn't want anything to happen
00:22:14.840 to him but I did warn him you know wow that is a good reason to fire someone by the way
00:22:22.100 if you're a stunt coordinator and you accidentally hangs the person by his neck yes he should be
00:22:29.520 fired you hang the star of the movie yeah I think yeah a fireable offense but yeah he almost died
00:22:36.860 and you know the fact is you know looking back I did warn him so it's not on me and so the next
00:22:43.800 movie
00:22:44.240 I was the first one they called
00:22:47.520 it was Get Hard with
00:22:49.520 what's his name
00:22:52.980 yeah the little guy
00:22:54.980 yes I know
00:22:56.440 Kevin Hart I did the press junket
00:22:59.760 for that I did so many
00:23:01.260 press junkets for so many of these films
00:23:03.540 that you were stunt doubling
00:23:06.000 all the
00:23:07.480 daddy now what's it called
00:23:09.260 daddy's home
00:23:10.880 Daddy's Home Movies with Mark Wahlberg.
00:23:14.600 And you said that you like Mark Wahlberg.
00:23:16.300 I like Mark Wahlberg a lot.
00:23:18.640 I think it's really cool.
00:23:19.800 But anyways, this is...
00:23:22.120 Mark's a good guy.
00:23:23.400 I like Mark.
00:23:24.140 Actually, Mark liked me.
00:23:26.780 And he put me on a TV series that he produced called Shooter, starring Ryan Philippe.
00:23:34.540 Oh, yes.
00:23:35.140 I remember that.
00:23:37.020 Yeah, I coordinated the first season of that.
00:23:39.560 and that was because mark uh put a put my name in for it and they hired me him mark and his
00:23:45.480 producer so they like me you know mark mark and i got along really well actually he's uh
00:23:50.080 he's he's he's my kind of guy will on the other hand will on the other hand
00:23:55.940 will's just he's just he's such a nice guy and he's just he's so cowardly it's like yeah 0.99
00:24:05.680 Oh, that sucks 0.98
00:24:08.420 It was hard 0.98
00:24:08.860 Yeah, no, I can imagine
00:24:12.080 I mean, yeah, no, I'm so sorry
00:24:14.480 I had to go through that, by the way
00:24:15.860 That's really a heartbreaking story
00:24:18.460 We also, I have to mention
00:24:20.700 Because a lot of people who watch my channel
00:24:22.720 Have been really invested in the lawsuits
00:24:25.160 Where Blake Lively
00:24:26.580 Now where Ryan Reynolds was dragged into it
00:24:29.160 By, or he wasn't dragged into it
00:24:31.160 He inserted himself into that
00:24:34.260 But you also told me that you have experience with Blake Lively as well.
00:24:40.080 So please share.
00:24:44.620 Well, we'll talk about, I just talked about Green Lantern.
00:24:48.880 Yeah.
00:24:49.220 The first time I experienced being on set with Blake Lively, I didn't even know who she was at the time.
00:24:56.380 So I'm just doubling Tim Robbins.
00:24:58.040 They sent me into a costume fitting for my wardrobe.
00:25:04.260 and I'm walking in, and I hear this yelling, and okay, so I'm there for my appointment.
00:25:12.720 I see Blake Lively coming toward me. I mean, mad. She was mad, and she storms out,
00:25:22.640 brushes right by me, doesn't even look at me, slams the door. I walk in the door.
00:25:28.960 Okay, I'm ready for my fitting. I see the wardrobe people, the costume people. There was like, I don't know, five or six of them in the room. Three of the ladies were crying. They were in tears. And I'm just there to do my fitting. And I'm thinking, wow, what just happened here?
00:25:46.400 So I asked one of the people, what happened? And they said, oh, Todd, can you just give us a minute? We have to recover. Blake just yelled at all of us and berated us and belittled us. And I go, who is she? Who is that? Oh, she's the star of the movie.
00:26:07.200 I said oh okay 1.00
00:26:08.120 But I said why was she yelling at you guys
00:26:11.700 And they didn't want to talk about it
00:26:15.000 But I can tell you
00:26:16.320 They were wiping tears out of their eyes
00:26:18.620 Wow
00:26:20.700 Yeah that sounds familiar
00:26:22.760 That sounds like something that Blake Lively would do
00:26:25.480 But I mean
00:26:26.060 So you observed Blake and Ryan
00:26:28.440 On the sets together
00:26:30.040 Because there were rumors about them
00:26:31.760 Dating while they were shooting this movie
00:26:34.000 But he was married to Scarlett
00:26:35.740 What's your opinion about that?
00:26:38.120 Were they just not stating at all when they were shooting the movie?
00:26:43.120 I wish I could say something about that.
00:26:47.400 I mostly did the stunt stuff for Tim Robbins,
00:26:50.240 so I don't really remember them being together
00:26:53.260 or any interaction with the two of them. 0.99
00:26:55.600 But I do remember that Ryan Reynolds was a complete ass. 1.00
00:27:01.100 That's what I remember. 1.00
00:27:02.080 he was an ass and his now wife made people cry sounds like a great set to be on wow 0.99
00:27:10.120 yeah well yeah it was green lantern was a tough one for me because i just 0.99
00:27:18.060 i did a lot of big stunts on that movie for tim uh and the um it was just it was just unpleasant
00:27:26.980 So, yeah, you move on, you know.
00:27:29.740 Yeah.
00:27:30.780 Anyways, we have to talk about something you told me on the phone as well, which I found was such an interesting story because I haven't heard anything similar from anyone.
00:27:39.360 So when you started out and you were an actor at first and you're still an actor or you've still been doing acting jobs in between as well, as far as I understand, right?
00:27:48.380 But then you got you started feeling what fame was like at a point in time when you did Star Trek.
00:27:55.700 and then you made a very interesting decision.
00:28:00.260 Can you talk about that?
00:28:02.780 Sure, yeah.
00:28:03.700 So I started stunts and acting when I was really young.
00:28:06.920 So I was plugging away as an actor.
00:28:09.700 I had a manager and an agent, pretty good agent,
00:28:12.020 really good manager,
00:28:13.160 taking 10 and 15% of my paycheck plus tax.
00:28:18.700 I was not making a lot of money as an actor,
00:28:20.700 although I was guest starring top of the show
00:28:23.080 on a lot of the hot television shows back there by the way we got to talk about the happy days
00:28:27.580 but that's late yes that that's we could talk about that but let me just finish with the star
00:28:32.500 trek first uh so i land the i go in and i land the role of star trek uh i'm a klingon i play
00:28:40.700 captain claw in star trek 5 the final frontier it's a very you know people i have many fans all
00:28:48.860 over the world when you do a star trek movie you get for for example i'm in the makeup chair
00:28:56.320 doing getting my makeup as captain claw the klingon makeup and bill shatner's daughter liz
00:29:02.560 is talking to me she's doing a uh she's writing a biography or whatever you call them a making
00:29:07.740 of star trek five and she tells me todd you know what i'm going to tell you something right now
00:29:13.060 uh star trek is going to be in your life until you die and i and i thought whoa that's a little
00:29:22.340 that's a bold statement i said okay cool i like star trek i always liked it when i was a kid
00:29:27.460 it's it's i was a big fan you know i used to watch it all the time of the original series
00:29:33.660 and so after the movie came out they put well actually before the movie came out they
00:29:42.880 They put me in front of an audience of about 10,000 people, and I have never been, you know, on a microphone in front of 10,000 people in my life.
00:29:53.860 They were at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A., and they introduced me as the new villain of the movie.
00:30:01.360 And quick, funny story.
00:30:03.800 So I'm talking to the people, and I'm not really supposed to tell what happens in the movie.
00:30:07.780 Some people are asking me questions and they've seen the trailer so they know what character I am.
00:30:13.480 And this guy raises his hand and goes, hey, I thought you were black.
00:30:20.020 And I said, no, this is me. 0.99
00:30:23.860 So I got a lot of that.
00:30:26.440 But when I was doing – so the movie came out.
00:30:30.800 And so you start doing the convention circuit.
00:30:33.200 They start inviting you, the actors that have larger parts, you get invited to conventions and they were flying me all over the world, you know, England and Germany, all and pretty much every state in the United States had Star Trek conventions.
00:30:48.880 So, you know, they're paying me and my protocol was I fly there, they give me a hotel room, they pay me a fee, I sign autographs until the line finishes and sometimes the line is like around the block.
00:31:05.540 And I get on stage and I speak to the people for like Q&A and stuff like that.
00:31:12.680 So I was always uncomfortable doing that because I just, I don't know, some people like it, some people don't.
00:31:18.980 So I don't really like it.
00:31:20.900 But I got used to it.
00:31:22.160 And I did for a number of years, I did the Star Trek convention.
00:31:24.480 So I was at, you know, they send you to hotels and they give you a schedule.
00:31:35.020 And so I'm sitting at a hotel and say, say you're in Vegas or something and you're at a big hotel, the Hilton.
00:31:40.860 So I'm going to lunch with a couple of the other actors or just me and a couple of people.
00:31:47.580 And people are coming up to me at my lunch table when I'm taking my break and they're asking me for autographs and they want, you know, people want a piece of you, basically.
00:31:57.340 When you're famous, people want a piece of you.
00:32:01.120 They want to talk to you.
00:32:02.640 They want to and they don't care if they interrupt you.
00:32:04.780 Some a lot of people are great about it, but there's some people.
00:32:07.640 and also the star trek fans are pretty crazy some of them not not all of them but uh so i got a
00:32:15.500 you know long story short um i got a taste of what it would be like to be famous and i i i made the
00:32:24.320 conscious decision to stop the acting and i just wanted to work in the movie business but i i wanted
00:32:34.520 going to be behind the scenes. I didn't want people to recognize me. And I thought, you know,
00:32:37.980 all these years I've been trying to be famous and be a star and be a good actor and all the
00:32:43.040 accolades and, hey, I'm an actor, famous star. I didn't want it. I realized I didn't want it
00:32:49.420 after the Star Trek experience. Right. So interesting. Yeah. I mean, I've never heard
00:32:56.060 anyone. Yeah. Sorry. Go ahead. No, I just never heard anyone say something like that before,
00:33:02.140 Because I feel like a lot of people, as soon as they get a taste of it, they just want more.
00:33:07.960 And then it feeds their ego.
00:33:11.060 But it's really interesting to hear someone say, you know, I didn't want that.
00:33:15.400 And of course, if you don't take that part of it, you don't make as much money either.
00:33:19.960 Because when you're famous, obviously, you can ask for more and more money.
00:33:23.540 But when you're choosing to be behind the scenes, you're also giving up a part of that.
00:33:28.960 So now that's really admirable, actually.
00:33:32.880 And I'm sure your life would have been very different today.
00:33:36.460 Maybe you wouldn't have gotten fired by Ryan Reynolds.
00:33:40.020 Yeah, maybe I could have fired him.
00:33:42.920 That's true.
00:33:44.340 But no, but that's really interesting.
00:33:46.740 And you never regretted that choice.
00:33:50.680 Actually, no.
00:33:52.720 I like being, and, you know, this is the first time I put myself out there for an interview.
00:33:57.600 and I can't even tell you how many years.
00:34:00.780 And the reason I am doing this with you
00:34:04.380 is because I like you.
00:34:05.940 I like your show.
00:34:07.940 I'm probably the least famous person
00:34:10.140 you've ever interviewed.
00:34:11.020 I see all these big, huge stars
00:34:12.300 you've interviewed in the past,
00:34:13.740 but I've seen some of your interviews
00:34:15.480 and you're personable and you're great.
00:34:19.920 So I said, you know what?
00:34:21.120 You want to know about Brian Reynolds?
00:34:22.920 I'm happy to tell you about it.
00:34:24.140 I'm trying to get the word out there myself,
00:34:25.980 obviously on Enix.
00:34:26.840 Thank you. Thank you so much for doing it. I mean, it's hard for people, especially if they're still working in the industry. People don't want to go out and talk about things because, of course, you know, you might lose opportunities from it. And I think that's really, it's so sad that you have to just accept really bad behavior from people. And especially, I think we see more and more celebrities.
00:34:49.820 It's coming out because of social media and things
00:34:52.540 We are starting to learn who people really are
00:34:55.760 And at times I think it's really disappointing
00:34:58.600 And I think sometimes for people it's hard to actually accept it
00:35:03.200 Because they have put these people on a pedestal
00:35:06.120 And when you hear stories about what they really like
00:35:08.580 They're like, no, they don't even want to hear it
00:35:11.300 And reject it because it's like so hard to believe
00:35:14.400 That someone they admire could be a bad person or whatever
00:35:19.180 but you have worked with nice people too.
00:35:21.400 So tell us a little bit about your favorites out there
00:35:24.980 because you've worked with a lot of big stars.
00:35:29.300 Yeah, well, I mean, I'll just rattle a couple names off, I guess,
00:35:32.860 and then we can talk in detail.
00:35:34.120 But, you know, I worked with Clint Eastwood, the man.
00:35:38.720 I mean, I actually was stunt doubling for Jeff Daniels
00:35:43.200 on a movie called Bloodwork, and Clint wanted me to do –
00:35:47.720 He knew I was an actor, too.
00:35:49.160 And Clint's got great instincts anyway.
00:35:51.220 So he said, Todd, you want to do I want you to play this part.
00:35:53.840 And what am I going to say?
00:35:54.860 No.
00:35:55.440 Yeah.
00:35:55.620 So I played this small part of a guy walking up behind him, grabbing him by the shoulder at the ATM.
00:36:01.100 You could see it in the movie Bloodwork.
00:36:02.560 I had a beard.
00:36:03.260 You wouldn't even recognize me.
00:36:05.400 So Clint Eastwood.
00:36:08.320 Wow.
00:36:08.960 I mean, Mel Gibson.
00:36:10.700 You know, let's let's maybe start from the top.
00:36:12.780 Let's go Mel Gibson.
00:36:14.600 Did you like Mel Gibson?
00:36:15.920 I was good friends with him.
00:36:16.140 I haven't seen him for a long time
00:36:21.660 Last time I saw him
00:36:23.540 He came on to Daddy's Home
00:36:25.860 Too
00:36:26.820 As Mark Wahlberg's father
00:36:28.900 Oh yes
00:36:30.640 That's true
00:36:32.320 And John Lithgow
00:36:35.600 Was Will's father
00:36:36.500 And he's a nice guy
00:36:37.640 John Lithgow is a sweetheart
00:36:39.260 John is really nice
00:36:40.720 I've interviewed him
00:36:41.500 I actually also had a great experience
00:36:43.540 With Mel Gibson
00:36:44.140 I feel like he's the kind of person who doesn't really like doing interviews, but he's a little shy in that way.
00:36:52.340 I don't know if I'm right about that.
00:36:54.040 Mel or John?
00:36:55.280 Mel Gibson. 0.96
00:36:56.460 Mel's nuts. 0.99
00:36:57.480 I can tell you right now. 0.96
00:36:58.640 Great guy. 1.00
00:36:59.900 He's as crazy as a freaking loon. 1.00
00:37:04.000 No, he's in a good way. 1.00
00:37:06.380 He's a good dude.
00:37:08.240 I can't tell you how much time I've spent with him.
00:37:10.680 It's been a long time.
00:37:11.760 I haven't talked to him for a long time since, like I said, since Daddy's Home 2, when I was coordinating the movie A Double Will.
00:37:17.060 But I'll tell you a quick, interesting story.
00:37:20.260 I don't know if I should say this, but if you want to hear it, I'll tell you.
00:37:24.580 I would definitely want to hear it.
00:37:26.940 Okay, okay.
00:37:28.320 So I was preparing to do Coordinate and Double Will on Daddy's Home No. 2.
00:37:37.380 I get a call from the director, Sean, and he says, Todd, I need a double.
00:37:45.900 You look for a double for Mel Gibson.
00:37:47.980 We don't know if we have him yet.
00:37:49.920 We don't know if he's going to be, but I really want him to play Mark Wahlberg's dad.
00:37:53.340 I said, okay, I'm going to look for a double.
00:37:55.560 And I said, what's the issue?
00:37:57.860 Why are you not sure you're going to have him?
00:38:00.140 Is he busy?
00:38:00.660 he said no he goes
00:38:02.240 you know Will's not
00:38:04.760 not Will Ferrell's not sure
00:38:06.780 he wants to work with Mel
00:38:08.240 yeah
00:38:10.780 and I said
00:38:12.760 why he's this
00:38:14.820 guy why wouldn't you want to work with Mel Gibson
00:38:16.760 he goes well Will's just
00:38:18.720 very
00:38:19.220 he's just
00:38:22.020 he's kind of afraid to
00:38:24.760 work with Mel he doesn't know if he's gonna
00:38:26.700 be
00:38:28.100 a loose cannon on the set
00:38:30.640 or this or that, and I said, Sean, this is funny because I know Mel, and I can tell you
00:38:38.960 that, and you can tell this to Will from me, Mel is a team player. He will work hard. He will be a,
00:38:48.400 he'll do a great job for you, and he won't cause any problems, I guarantee you. Now,
00:38:53.680 this was when Mel had just gone through his big trauma with, he was pretty much blacklisted in
00:39:00.500 the business, which I think a lot of people know. And he was really like, this was the first project
00:39:07.060 he was being considered for, but my director really wanted him. So they were going to actually
00:39:12.540 pick his career back out of the trash. And so I said, look, you can be confident and tell Will
00:39:18.440 this. Mel's a great guy. He's a team player. Bring him on. He's going to be great. I'll get
00:39:23.800 you a double for him. And I'm looking forward to seeing him. He goes, oh, you know, Mel? I said,
00:39:27.380 Yeah, of course I know Mel, he's great.
00:39:29.440 I used to spend hours and days at the cigar club,
00:39:33.900 the grand event room in Beverly Hills with Mel
00:39:37.260 and went to dinners with him outside of that
00:39:40.280 and worked with him on, we were soldiers
00:39:42.600 and he was friends with my friends
00:39:44.280 and we spent hours together and days together.
00:39:47.500 I can't even tell you, for a few years.
00:39:49.600 So this is the catch.
00:39:54.340 So they hire Mel
00:39:57.380 And then I get a phone call from my director.
00:40:01.660 And he said, Todd, because we're pretty close,
00:40:03.920 the director and I have worked on many movies together.
00:40:07.040 And he says, Todd, I don't know how to say this,
00:40:10.920 but Mel says he doesn't know who you are.
00:40:17.780 And I said, what?
00:40:20.240 I said, wait a minute, this is crazy.
00:40:22.640 Oh, yeah, he says he doesn't know you.
00:40:24.000 Are you sure you were telling me the truth?
00:40:25.940 I said, yeah, I'm telling you the truth.
00:40:27.240 Wait till he gets to set. We'll see if he knows me. So the first day I see, I get to set. I walk on set. Mel sees me and he's over by the monitor. He comes over, gives me a big hug, rips off his microphone that the sound people put on him, grabs me by the shoulder in a hug, takes me away from everybody and starts talking to me about all the stuff that's going on with him and the girl and this and that.
00:40:57.240 in his career and like he like we were just like it was the next day that we saw each other
00:41:04.580 yesterday so i don't know what that glitch was maybe mel was you know these guys know so many
00:41:10.220 people maybe he just was yeah was drunk or something and he forgot my name but anyway he
00:41:15.900 he it turns out the director saw this all the producers saw him pull me aside and we were
00:41:21.560 talking because he didn't want the the sound people to hear what we were saying some pretty
00:41:25.020 private stuff um so that settled that right that's interesting and of course we also have to talk
00:41:33.160 about your experience you were also hired to work on rust i mean you've been in where all the action
00:41:42.300 is all the time so first of all were you excited about working with alec baldwin or
00:41:51.600 that's a loaded question
00:41:57.120 I'll rephrase it
00:42:00.740 so were you excited about working with Alec Baldwin
00:42:03.560 so when I got hired
00:42:09.560 long story short
00:42:10.460 it was after I got fired
00:42:12.400 from Spirited
00:42:15.280 after Ryan Reynolds had me fired
00:42:17.360 they did not require
00:42:19.380 the vaccine mandate
00:42:21.380 They didn't have the mandate.
00:42:22.960 I got a call from my good friend, Alan Graff, who's the stunt coordinator on Rust.
00:42:26.860 He worked with Walter Hill, huge director, did some big movies.
00:42:30.840 And I know Walter also.
00:42:32.820 So he wanted me to do this part of a deputy marshal.
00:42:38.020 I think it was deputy marshal Buck English.
00:42:40.080 And I had some dialogue and then I had to do a shootout.
00:42:42.640 So I go to, I say to Alan, I said, well, yeah, I'm interested in the job.
00:42:48.820 but is alec baldwin going to be there when i'm there and he said why and i said well because i
00:42:55.880 don't want to work with the guy i don't want to be near him because i had a past experience um 0.75
00:43:01.460 and i just hear he's a complete ass so he checks the schedule he says uh todd i checked the schedule 0.83
00:43:10.660 alec will not be there it's in new mexico long story short i took the job went to new 0.98
00:43:18.760 mexico did my part did the shootout came came came home well 10 days later i get i hear the
00:43:26.680 news that the director of photography was shot and killed by alec baldwin now this is a set that
00:43:35.680 i had just worked on and i worked with this woman and with the armorer and i'm i don't want to get
00:43:41.760 into the whole story of it but i can tell you right now i knew that these people were really
00:43:49.180 they were trying to save money they weren't doing the right thing and hiring the certain people in
00:43:53.820 certain departments and i actually had to tell the armorer uh we were doing a shootout and and she
00:44:02.500 was loading our guns with uh you have different loads in the gun it's it's it's blanks but you
00:44:10.380 have full loads, half loads, quarter loads, just depending on how far you are from the person that
00:44:17.260 you're aiming the gun at, which you really never really aim at the gun at anybody, but you want to
00:44:21.260 be safe with the loads. So she had put a load in my gun, a blank that was too big that I thought
00:44:27.880 was unsafe. And I said, Hey, can you please put a smaller load in this gun? I don't want anything
00:44:32.700 to happen to the guy that I'm having the gunfight with. Sure. She says, yeah. Okay. So she changed
00:44:39.120 the loads and everything was safe but just the fact that i had to tell the armorer what kind of
00:44:45.600 load to put in the gun kind of like raised a little bit of a question for me so when i little
00:44:50.280 bit yeah so when i heard that that happened um oh i was horrified because i had just been there
00:44:58.840 and um wow you know the story right yes of course i mean it's so heartbreaking it's so terrible
00:45:07.140 uh but but then so you were finished shooting but you went back did they ask you to come back again
00:45:13.460 did I remember it right you told me that they actually want you to come back and reshoot some
00:45:20.500 stuff yes so yeah so they did a it was I think two years later after the lawsuits and everything
00:45:28.660 uh they they switched locations to montana and the state of montana and uh i got a call
00:45:37.240 from my coordinator that said um he said the director wants you to come back and do your part
00:45:42.840 again we're reshooting the scene with two different lead actors i said okay well why would
00:45:51.260 he want me to come back i mean he could just get another oh well he just he likes you he wants you
00:45:55.180 to come back i said okay great i'm flattered put me on a plane to montana i like montana
00:46:00.360 uh so went there again alec wasn't there thank goodness um did a scene did the same scene with
00:46:09.460 two different actors and that's what made the movie now it's really small you barely see me
00:46:15.520 i've got a beard and you won't even probably recognize me but you you know it was it was a
00:46:19.700 nice little scene actually and uh so i had to go back and do it and it was a completely different
00:46:24.660 director of photography uh a lot of different crew but it was it was just interesting the
00:46:32.920 whole thing was just wow wow really interesting that's so sad um so did the movie actually come
00:46:43.340 out yes it it came out uh i think for a short period of time in the cinemas very limited release
00:46:51.300 But now it's on Amazon Prime and, you know, wherever you want to stream a movie, you can buy it or rent it.
00:46:57.800 Have you watched it?
00:46:59.500 Yes.
00:47:00.080 It's not bad.
00:47:02.020 It's not bad.
00:47:03.700 But now when you know the story behind it, it's kind of like, I don't know if I can even watch it because it feels so disturbing.
00:47:09.060 But now when I know you were in it, I might have to do that.
00:47:14.260 Check it out.
00:47:15.480 You'll see my latest acting job.
00:47:17.260 But talking about that, I remember it was an incident on a Ryan Reynolds movie where a stuntwoman died. Do you remember that? What's your thoughts about that?
00:47:29.360 I can't remember the movie, but was that the motorcycle?
00:47:32.060 Yeah, it was a Deadpool 2 movie. Did you hear anything about that, like people in the stunt world talking about it?
00:47:39.160 i had heard about it but i'd rather not i don't remember the name of the movie but and i've i've
00:47:47.880 had several of my colleagues die and i've had several colleagues you know very badly injured
00:47:54.960 um i'll just give you an example and and this is why i i don't want to get into other people's
00:48:01.320 sets because i don't know i wasn't there so i don't know how it happened or what happened i
00:48:05.820 just know what i hear but i can tell you i there was a really close friend of mine who i met on
00:48:10.640 the movie the matrix in australia which by the way the matrix is a huge movie um i like it it's
00:48:17.080 a great movie um i supplied the stunt coordinator and the stunt department in australia i supplied
00:48:24.740 them with all of the stunt equipment for the movie i had it i had it made from a factory i knew
00:48:31.440 the Australians were having a hard time finding the stunt equipment to do all the stunts on the
00:48:36.480 Matrix. So I arranged for it to be shipped over there from the United States. They custom ordered
00:48:40.940 it. They paid a ton for it. And actually, when I got over there to work on it, you know, because
00:48:46.420 he said, OK, you're going to work on the movie on top of the other benefits for getting us this
00:48:52.360 equipment. And I played a part. Are we talking about The Matrix, The Matrix with Keanu Reeves?
00:48:57.140 yes the actual first matrix movie matrix number one it's an amazing movie by the way amazing i
00:49:04.400 love that yeah sorry yeah so i i gave i got him all the stunt equipment uh and i actually got to
00:49:12.540 ride one of the ratchets that i provided for him i got shot in the uh the scene where i was a soldier
00:49:19.080 in the, um, uh, what was it? The, uh, FBI room where, where he comes in with the big
00:49:25.980 coat and the guns blazing and shoots all the military guys. Uh, I was in that and, uh,
00:49:33.840 I worked on it for like three weeks and it was fun. So I met, anyway, I met a guy named, uh,
00:49:39.420 Scott McLean. He was a lot of Australians, great guys. And Scott became a good friend of mine.
00:49:44.480 And after a while, I, you know, years went by, we stayed friends and I recommended him to double one of the leads on the comedy with Zach Galifianakis and Hangover.
00:50:02.280 Hangover.
00:50:04.240 Thank you.
00:50:05.620 So Hangover, I think it was the third Hangover.
00:50:09.860 I had him doubling.
00:50:11.380 I recommended him to double the lead.
00:50:13.620 i can't remember his name either um bradley cooper he the kind of thinner yeah yeah no i don't
00:50:20.500 yeah i don't remember his name yeah no i know yeah he was he was the third yeah he was he was
00:50:25.760 funny he was the third yeah anyway so my friend went over to thailand and it was his stunt double
00:50:32.220 he ended up getting smashed his head got hit in a car accident that they were doing a stunt scene
00:50:38.860 and head-on collision.
00:50:42.860 His head was sticking out the window
00:50:44.640 and another car was coming the opposite direction,
00:50:47.000 hit him right in the head, killed him.
00:50:49.980 He was clinically dead officially for a few minutes.
00:50:55.260 They brought him back to life and he had brain damage
00:50:57.680 and it took him years to even walk again.
00:51:00.300 And it was just a terrible situation.
00:51:02.460 So, yeah, so it's hard to talk about.
00:51:06.080 Yeah, these are the things you never hear about really. I mean, it's such a dangerous job that you have. I mean, it's incredible that you, I don't know, I'm sure you've been injured a lot throughout as well. But just like, I mean, I think it's a good thing that you're kind of retired now that you don't do these things anymore, because it's, I mean, it sounds really dangerous.
00:51:27.620 Anyways, we have to talk about this as you mentioned it. Because the thing was, when I got in touch with you, the next day I was doing a video on my channel and I talked about Tom Hanks and how Henry Winkler came out and said that, you know, they still have this beef going on.
00:51:44.940 And then I showed a photo from the sets of the Fonz and I was like, this is Tom Hanks, one of his first acting jobs and Henry Winkler.
00:51:56.060 And there were some other people in the background and you sent me an email and it was like, that is me in the background of this picture.
00:52:04.920 That was so funny.
00:52:07.180 So you worked on that movie.
00:52:09.160 No, you worked on that TV show with Henry Winkler.
00:52:12.280 He's the best guy, isn't he?
00:52:14.140 I feel like I met him.
00:52:15.600 I think I was just like, this guy is so real.
00:52:18.120 He's just so nice.
00:52:20.480 And but then back then, Tom Cruise was very fresh in the game.
00:52:23.960 Did you know who Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks?
00:52:26.340 Did you know who Tom Hanks was back then?
00:52:29.080 I didn't.
00:52:29.700 So I was basically, you know, back then we started out as background actors, which are extras.
00:52:35.640 They had a separate union for that.
00:52:36.840 So I was learning every stuntman had to learn the business and be in, you know, set etiquette and things like that.
00:52:42.200 So we started as extras. And so I was working on Happy Days because I had, you know, I was a young guy and I had to look for the Arnold's diner and all that.
00:52:50.100 So I was in it a lot. And I was working with Ron Howard and all the all the boys, Henry Winkler as the Fonz.
00:52:55.760 And I was hanging out with these guys for a lot of episodes, actually.
00:53:00.660 So this one episode that you showed on your show and you were talking about Tom Hanks, when he comes in and he starts doing his karate moves in the gi and fighting with the Fonz, I was there the whole time.
00:53:16.620 I was one of the extras in the restaurant watching this whole thing go down, and I did not know who Tom Hanks was.
00:53:24.320 I just thought he was this lunatic who was, you know, prancing all over the place with the karate gi on and fighting with the Fonz, and it was fun.
00:53:34.420 It was just fun. 0.78
00:53:35.240 But when you showed it, I said, wow, that's me.
00:53:39.160 That was so funny.
00:53:40.320 Wait a minute.
00:53:41.080 It's me right in the center of the picture of the two of them, Ron.
00:53:46.620 the fawns and the and and tom hanks and so i i told you that and i think you have the picture
00:53:52.300 but yeah yeah what what are the odds for that that is so funny then i was like okay it's destined you
00:53:58.600 have to come here on my show and talk about these things yeah i felt the same way i said okay this
00:54:03.940 is it we gotta talk it's a sign anyway we've talked about a lot of things i'm just looking
00:54:10.280 here if there's anything i really forgot to talk about that you oh you talked about 21 jump street
00:54:16.500 with Johnny Depp. I mean, you've done
00:54:18.280 and the Beverly Hills 90210
00:54:20.320 and
00:54:22.300 Sylvester Stallone and you've
00:54:24.440 been eaten by
00:54:25.640 not one, but two T-Rexes
00:54:28.320 on two different movies. I mean,
00:54:30.640 you
00:54:32.060 have a lot of stories.
00:54:35.400 So,
00:54:35.820 I don't know, maybe we should save some for next
00:54:38.260 time as well because we've been talking for a while
00:54:40.140 here, but this has been so
00:54:42.440 interesting. Thank you
00:54:44.440 so much for doing this, Todd. I
00:54:46.200 really really appreciate it and i'm sure everyone here on my channel are going to love this
00:54:52.440 conversation that we have as well so is there anything else you wanted to mention
00:54:56.580 no it's my pleasure i if you want to come do it again let's see how it goes if if you want to come
00:55:04.220 back i think we need a part two of this because i'm sure there's so much more i mean your career
00:55:10.800 We've done so many things
00:55:13.360 So I would love to have you come back here
00:55:16.220 And thank you for being honest
00:55:17.760 And telling these stories
00:55:19.660 And if people want to find you
00:55:22.560 On social media
00:55:23.660 Where can they go and follow you?
00:55:27.160 On X?
00:55:28.020 Yeah, I'm just on X
00:55:29.280 I actually started an account
00:55:30.700 About seven months ago on X
00:55:32.820 I did not want to be on social media
00:55:34.880 I wanted to just live my life
00:55:36.960 In my retirement and be happy
00:55:38.580 But there's so much going on.
00:55:41.620 And I said, you know what?
00:55:42.660 I'm just going to have my say.
00:55:43.840 Everybody's talking now.
00:55:45.120 So it's free speech.
00:55:46.900 Let's talk.
00:55:48.000 Yes.
00:55:49.200 I love it.
00:55:50.520 Like me or not.
00:55:51.760 Look, I'm controversial to some people.
00:55:54.900 Some people love me.
00:55:55.860 Some people don't.
00:55:57.180 That's fine.
00:55:58.000 The only person that matters.
00:56:00.880 Opinions of me don't matter.
00:56:02.340 What you think of me is none of my business.
00:56:04.940 And the only judge is God.
00:56:06.860 So have at it if you like being on.
00:56:10.100 I'm on X at Real Claw, R-E-A-L, Real Claw, K-L-A-A, at Real Claw.
00:56:17.360 And that's the name of my Star Trek character.
00:56:19.520 And I started it because I thought, you know, I could get back in touch with some of my old Star Trek fans.
00:56:25.960 Who knows how many of them are even still alive at this point?
00:56:30.120 But apparently there are.
00:56:31.960 And I've got some Star Trek people on there.
00:56:33.620 I'm sure there are.
00:56:34.480 I'm sure there are.
00:56:35.900 So, yes, please follow Todd over there and thank you and get Todd so much.
00:56:40.340 I really appreciate it.
00:56:41.640 And hopefully I'll see you very soon.
00:56:44.060 Thank you, Kirstie.
00:56:44.940 Thank you very much.
00:56:46.000 Thank you.
