00:00:00.000 And guess what? They responded, and you won't believe what they're saying.
00:00:10.560 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Tashti Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:14.920 and your voice of reason in the town built on delusion.
00:00:18.540 First of all, thank you so much for all your kind words yesterday.
00:00:23.440 I announced that finally Blake Lively's team has admitted that I had nothing to do with that alleged smear campaign.
00:00:33.660 So as I said yesterday, I reached out to the New York Times and said,
00:00:37.160 hey, maybe you should apologize to me because you insinuated so strongly in that article you published in December last year
00:00:46.020 that I was collaborating with Baldoni's team.
00:00:50.700 And guess what? They responded, and you won't believe what they're saying.
00:00:57.080 Also, Blake Lively has been out and about, and People Magazine shared a video from her latest outing yesterday,
00:01:05.460 and you won't believe what people are saying.
00:01:08.320 And we have to talk about Brendan Sklenor again.
00:01:10.980 Now it seems like he's turning his back on Blake, and Blake has already responded.
00:01:17.300 This is so manipulative.
00:01:19.580 And also, there is some big news today from the legal perspective here.
00:01:24.020 The trial has been postponed for two months.
00:01:27.900 So now the trial date is May 18th of next year.
00:01:32.000 It was supposed to be, I think it was March 9th.
00:01:34.900 That was the original one, and the judge has now postponed it.
00:01:38.820 I'll tell you why shortly.
00:01:40.820 Stephanie Jones is out there again.
00:01:42.860 She has now responded again to Jennifer Abel, all these publicists,
00:01:46.520 the drama between the publicists.
00:01:47.900 I'll talk shortly about that as well.
00:01:49.640 This is getting so ridiculous.
00:01:52.160 And I'm going to show you this video that someone sent me with Jenny Slate,
00:01:55.460 and what she did in front of an audience of 800 people.
00:01:59.960 Okay, so let's get into it.
00:02:01.080 So this morning, there was a hearing, and the judge, Judge Lyman,
00:02:04.740 told Blake Lively's team and Baldoni's team that he has to postpone the trial,
00:02:09.840 because he is so busy.
00:02:11.640 He has two other trials, and they are criminal cases, and he has to put them first.
00:02:18.300 So that's why we have to wait another two months.
00:02:21.220 It's very normal that cases get postponed.
00:02:23.860 So I don't think it means anything.
00:02:25.880 It's just that we have to wait longer, which is really annoying.
00:02:30.220 But the way things are now, when more and more evidence is getting unsealed,
00:02:33.860 I think we are going to get to the truth, to the whole truth, before that even happens.
00:02:39.400 And as you know, the judge has to also rule on the motion for summary judgment.
00:02:44.920 Will he throw this case out, or will he keep parts of it?
00:02:48.900 That's going to be really, really exciting as well.
00:02:51.420 Okay, as I said in the beginning of this video, New York Times got back to me.
00:02:55.540 So yesterday, I reached out to them, and I said,
00:02:57.820 hey, Blake Lively's team now admits that I had nothing to do with the smear campaign,
00:03:03.780 that I posted that video that went viral when she was being a bully.
00:03:08.520 On my own accord, I had no one reaching out to me.
00:03:12.840 I never had any communication with either of the teams or anyone involved in this lawsuit.
00:03:20.460 And I thought, and I said in my episode yesterday,
00:03:22.700 I think they're not even going to respond to me.
00:03:24.800 But guess what they actually did?
00:03:27.020 Is the deputy editor for Trust, Mike Abrams,
00:03:29.440 who reached out to me the last time as well,
00:03:31.360 when I complained to them saying,
00:03:33.520 hey, why did you put me in your story?
00:03:35.680 I had nothing to do with it.
00:03:37.260 And then they added a statement from me saying that I had nothing to do with it,
00:03:41.500 which really doesn't have any weight.
00:03:43.700 It's like, oh, she's just defending herself.
00:03:46.280 Anyway, so yesterday, I wrote an email to them again,
00:03:49.820 saying that I request a correction or clarification appendant to the article stating that there is no evidence I participated in any coordinated effort.
00:04:02.500 So they had to add in the article that there's no evidence of what they're actually saying here or insinuating.
00:04:08.340 Or I suggested that removal or revision of language that implies alignment with an alleged smear campaign.
00:04:16.780 So this is how Mike responded.
00:04:19.120 He says,
00:04:19.720 As you know, we revised the piece to include your comments after publication.
00:04:30.480 Well, that was 24 hours too late.
00:04:32.720 As a result, the story was clear that,
00:04:35.680 A, we did not know how much of the anti-lively sentiment online was prompted by the Baldoni people and how much was, as in your case, organic.
00:04:46.920 And B, you had no interaction with the Baldoni representatives.
00:04:51.920 Just before the paragraph about you, we write,
00:04:55.780 It is impossible to know how much of the negative publicity was seeded by Ms. Nathan, Mr. Wallace and their team and how much they noticed and amplified.
00:05:09.580 Then he's saying,
00:05:11.320 Then after the paragraph, we say,
00:05:13.920 And then they put my statement in there.
00:05:16.340 And then he's ending this email saying,
00:05:18.620 We believe that those statements dispel any possible implication that you were coordinating with Baldoni's team.
00:05:24.860 Well, as I thought, they will not correct this article.
00:05:29.480 Because, as you know, New York Times has now also sued the Wayfair parties because they want them to pay for their legal fees that they spend defending themselves against them.
00:05:41.360 Because, you know, Baldoni countersued Blake Lively and the New York Times for defamation.
00:05:48.500 And that lawsuit was tossed out.
00:05:50.960 And now, New York Times wants Baldoni and the Wayfair parties to pay for their legal fees.
00:05:56.240 And here's the catch.
00:05:57.000 If they would admit that they did not check their sources right and they printed false information in that article,
00:06:04.120 that would really weaken their case against the Wayfair parties.
00:06:08.580 So, of course, they're not going to admit to any wrongdoings.
00:06:12.300 I wasn't expecting that because that's the way things work.
00:06:15.800 This is how they can get away with anything today.
00:06:18.980 Because if you are vague in the way you're describing something, you can always work your way around that legally.
00:06:26.500 And that's also why they're always using this kind of vague language and say allegedly.
00:06:32.080 And then they can get away with things like this without it having any consequences for the reporters who actually reported on this and definitely didn't do their job as a journalist.
00:06:42.900 So, the New York Times is claiming that they just reported on legal papers that was given to them because she filed this lawsuit.
00:06:51.000 They also claim that they had access to thousands of text messages, meaning that they themselves probably cherry-picked the ones that fit the narrative.
00:07:00.360 But apart from all of that, you have to remember I was a non-party here.
00:07:04.240 And that's why they should have reached out to me.
00:07:07.380 And that is something I think to this day that they really regret not doing.
00:07:13.140 So, now they're basically saying that, hey, we can get away with this because we used those words.
00:07:19.000 And now we are saying, like I said at the end here, that those statements dispel any possible implication that you were coordinating with Baldoni's team.
00:07:28.800 So, yes, why am I still in your article?
00:07:31.880 That's my question.
00:07:32.800 If you now know that I had nothing to do with any of this, why am I still there?
00:07:37.780 I was the perfect pawn to be used to fit the narrative that Blake served them and they just went for the bait.
00:07:44.680 And I think that's just so embarrassing for them and they know it.
00:07:48.860 Okay, so let's get to Brandon Sklenor.
00:07:51.440 I guess at this point everyone knows who he is.
00:07:53.520 He was the one playing Atlas in It Ends With Us.
00:07:56.600 And he, as you know, if you follow this case, was really supportive of Blake from the beginning.
00:08:00.960 And he was also one of the cast members who unfollowed Justin Baldoni on Instagram.
00:08:07.020 And we've read and we've seen Justin's text messages that he was really surprised by that because he thought that Brandon and him were really good friends.
00:08:16.720 Anyways, so as I reported on last week, E! Online did this story.
00:08:21.960 They had an interview with Paul Fee.
00:08:24.060 He is the director of The Housemaid, a new movie out with or coming out this month with Brandon Sklenor, Sidney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried.
00:08:33.640 And in this interview, Paul Feig said that Blake Lively was the one who helped Brandon Sklenor get this part.
00:08:41.660 He said that Blake kept pushing for him to meet with Brandon and she said he's the most wonderful guy.
00:08:49.600 She praised him so much that Paul Feig decided to have lunch with Brandon and when he met him for lunch, she said that he completely fell in love with him and he decided to cast him for his next movie.
00:09:02.100 So now, Brandon Sklenor has been out talking about promoting this movie and a few days ago, he was on NBC Today Show.
00:09:13.020 In this show, he was asked about how he got the role and it seemed like the host was already prepped for that question because he's the one who brought this up.
00:09:24.240 Saying that Sidney Sweeney was the one who pushed for Brandon to get this part.
00:09:31.160 I said that Sidney really pushed for you to be hired for this role.
00:09:35.840 Yeah.
00:09:36.160 Did you guys know each other?
00:09:37.620 No, we did not.
00:09:38.560 No, I was surprised, honestly, that she did that.
00:09:42.520 Yeah, I was like, me?
00:09:43.360 Really?
00:09:44.240 All right.
00:09:44.760 All right, fine.
00:09:45.320 I was, you know, playing a cowboy a hundred years ago and I've never done a white collar contemporary man.
00:09:53.940 But yeah, I was honored and thrilled that she saw that I could potentially do that and producers were on board and Paul Feig was on board and yeah, I had lunch with Paul Feig actually and we just, you know, we hit it off big time.
00:10:07.120 Okay, so the story has changed here and also for the rest of this interview, Blake Lively is not mentioned once.
00:10:14.700 So it's so obvious to me that Brandon Sklenar wants nothing to do with Blake Lively anymore and he does not want to be associated with her.
00:10:24.420 So funny thing, after this interview on NBC Today show was aired, People Magazine comes out with an article.
00:10:34.640 This is so planted by Blake's team.
00:10:38.860 It's got Blake and Ryan all over it and this is a reminder to Brandon, hey, remember who got you there?
00:10:47.780 You better be on our side here.
00:10:50.480 So then People Magazine publishes basically the same story as E! Online five days later and they're saying here that how Blake Lively helped Brandon Sklenar land the housemate role
00:11:04.180 according to director Paul Feig and here they're quoting Paul saying she just kept going on and on about how great he is
00:11:12.720 and I met him and I was like, yes, you're great and I love you said director Paul Feig.
00:11:19.000 So they point out here that Blake worked with him on Another Simple Favor in 2018 and the sequel earlier this year Another Simple Favor
00:11:26.860 and Paul is saying, hey, Blake had just worked with Brandon on It Ends With Us and she was still in the middle of shooting all that stuff
00:11:33.300 when we were doing Simple Favor, they were doing reshoots and she was like, I'm working with this guy and he's so amazing.
00:11:40.460 You've got to meet Brandon.
00:11:42.580 So this means that Blake was pushing for Brandon while they were shooting It Ends With Us.
00:11:48.320 I was like, all right, I'll have lunch with Brandon.
00:11:51.680 He walks in and within 30 seconds, I'm like Jelly, the most charismatic guy you've ever met in your life and so talented, says Paul Feig.
00:12:02.420 As you know, Paul was very supportive of Blake when he was promoting Another Simple Favor
00:12:07.720 because she got so much backlash during the promotion of that movie and he said he loves working with her.
00:12:13.820 I think he's the only person on the planet who actually loves working with Blake, but I do find this so telling on how Blake now is working the media
00:12:23.000 to get all her pawns in the right place and reminding people like, hey, I saw that you said Sidney Sweeney got you this part,
00:12:31.480 but remember, you promised me you'll be backing me up here because I got you this part.
00:12:36.820 Talking about Blake's pawns here, as you know, Jenny Slate has also been out there supporting Blake
00:12:44.100 and she's one of her witnesses, as I've spoken a lot about the last couple of weeks.
00:12:50.380 Jenny Slate also accused Justin of being inappropriate to her by saying that her leather pants that her character was actually wearing were sexy.
00:13:01.780 Then someone sent me this today.
00:13:03.860 Thank you, GH, for sending me this video.
00:13:06.060 So this is a video of Jenny Slate when she was on her book tour in October of 2024.
00:13:13.160 So this was after the premiere of It Ends With Us and she entered the stage like this.
00:13:18.900 Yes, as GH was telling me in this email saying that Jenny Slate walks on stage and then lifts up her dress
00:13:36.040 and leans over, revealing her bright red undergarments to an audience of about 800 people.
00:13:43.220 I mean, when you do stuff like that in front of an audience of 800 people and you find that appropriate,
00:13:51.520 but you can't handle a man saying that your wardrobe, your pants are sexy,
00:13:59.100 that to me is going to look awful in front of a jury.
00:14:02.480 When they're showing all of this, and as I showed you before, when she was promoting It Ends With Us,
00:14:07.160 she also posted a video of herself in a totally see-through dress with her butt to the camera,
00:14:13.760 shaking her butt in front of everyone.
00:14:16.140 And it's just like, that's fine if you want to do that.
00:14:18.940 I'm not judging that.
00:14:20.180 I'm just saying that then it doesn't make really much sense that you got offended when someone calls you pants sexy.
00:14:25.940 Okay, so let's get quickly into Stephanie Jones' new filing here.
00:14:30.300 You know, she filed for motions for sanctions, meaning that she wants to punish Jennifer Abel
00:14:35.480 for basically destroying evidence on purpose.
00:14:39.660 That's what this is all about.
00:14:41.420 If you follow this case, you know who she is.
00:14:43.920 If you didn't follow it so closely, so Stephanie Jones is the owner of Jones Work, a PR company,
00:14:50.680 and one of her employees, Jennifer Abel, left her company.
00:14:55.360 And when she did that, Stephanie Jones, through Blake and Ryan's company,
00:15:00.780 subpoenaed Jennifer Abel's phone, took it, gave it to Blake and Ryan,
00:15:04.880 who gave it to the New York Times, who published her text messages.
00:15:08.480 And as we know, there's also a lawsuit going on between Stephanie Jones and Jennifer Abel.
00:15:14.320 So Jennifer Abel is, of course, accusing Stephanie Jones of stealing her phone
00:15:19.320 and sharing her private information, which is really serious.
00:15:22.280 And then Stephanie Jones is accusing Jennifer Abel of working on her own,
00:15:27.260 behind her back, running a smear campaign, and that she had no idea that this was going on.
00:15:33.880 And now she's saying that she knows for sure that the evidence of what she's accusing Jennifer Abel of,
00:15:42.460 destroying evidence, were in the signal messages that she deleted on purpose.
00:15:48.420 So she's using exactly the same textbook as Blake Lively, saying,
00:15:53.300 all the evidence is invisible, and you destroyed it, and that's why you have to pay me money,
00:15:59.840 because I think you should get punished for that.
00:16:02.620 I find it so ironic that she's accusing Jennifer Abel of spoiling, of spoiltation of evidence here,
00:16:09.880 while she's the one who helped Blake steal her phone and take all the content.
00:16:16.860 And they didn't actually, they never gave the phone back.
00:16:19.200 So Jennifer Abel lost her phone with all the information she had stalled on her phone.
00:16:24.740 And Blake and Ryan and New York Times, everyone had free access to all her personal information,
00:16:32.120 and they still do because they still have the phone.
00:16:35.800 And then she thinks that Jennifer Abel is the one that was unethical here.
00:16:40.880 It's so dumb.
00:16:42.900 And as we now know, there is no evidence.
00:16:45.400 If there was any evidence that Blake could have used against any of these people,
00:16:49.700 and the same with Stephanie Jones, it would have been out there by now,
00:16:53.480 and we haven't seen anything.
00:16:55.420 So, of course, they are desperate.
00:16:58.020 Also, there was a story the other day, an interview with Robin Lively, Blake Lively's sister,
00:17:03.440 her only supporter at this point, I think.
00:17:06.260 And she said she's not sure if she's going to spend Christmas with her sister.
00:17:12.320 It says here in People magazine, surprise, surprise,
00:17:15.700 Robin Lively says holiday plans with sister Blake and Ryan Reynolds are currently up in the air.
00:17:21.580 Robin spoke with people at the iHeartRadio Jingle Bowl on Friday.
00:17:26.120 Actress Robin Lively says she's not yet sure if she'll be spending the holidays
00:17:30.540 with her younger sister and brother-in-law.
00:17:33.160 Oh, my gosh.
00:17:34.080 We never know our plans.
00:17:36.020 But when we do, it's like we're up and out, like, come now, let's go, Robin said,
00:17:41.100 before sharing that they spend a lot of time with Blake and her family throughout the years.
00:17:46.720 They, Blake and Ryan, love Christmas.
00:17:49.400 We all love Christmas so much, Bart54 added.
00:17:54.200 I guess that's why Blake decided to ruin everyone's Christmas last year,
00:17:58.520 because it's so important to her.
00:18:00.200 That's why she filed her lawsuit on December 21st.
00:18:04.080 So no one had the chance to respond until after New Year,
00:18:08.540 because the court is closed for over a week.
00:18:11.040 So that meant that Justin could not defend himself until the court opened again,
00:18:16.820 and she knew that she would make his Christmas and all the other defendants' Christmas miserable,
00:18:23.560 and including my Christmas miserable, because last Christmas for me was awful.
00:18:29.120 As I talked about yesterday, I received so much hate from people,
00:18:33.400 and so many people online were attacking me for being a liar,
00:18:37.460 because I had smeared Blake Lively, according to the New York Times.
00:18:42.460 Anyways, I don't care what any of these people do for Christmas,
00:18:46.320 but please just, like, don't ruin it for anyone else this year again,
00:18:50.560 which I'm sure she'll be able to do somehow.
00:18:53.160 Anyway, that's it for me, you guys.
00:18:54.660 I hope you enjoyed this episode, and thanks again for all your support yesterday.
00:18:58.320 It's so sweet of you to reach out like that,
00:19:00.440 and I'm really happy that it's out there now,
00:19:03.340 that I had nothing to do with this alleged smear campaign,
00:19:07.560 and even Blake Lively had to admit that in the end.
00:19:10.800 And yes, please subscribe if you haven't,
00:19:12.600 hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Flawsome Talk,
00:19:15.880 and I'll see you soon.
00:19:17.540 Bye!
00:19:17.800 Bye!
00:19:37.560 Bye!
