00:01:31.000 Let's get into it.
00:01:31.000 Let's go!
00:02:21.000 We are back.
00:02:22.000 We're back.
00:02:23.000 Welcome to the Freshman Podcast, man.
00:02:23.000 What's up, guys?
00:02:25.000 It is Monday, a.k.a.
00:02:26.000 Money Monday, man.
00:02:27.000 We got an important episode for you guys.
00:02:28.000 We're going to talk about how to prepare for that job interview.
00:02:32.000 We're coming up with 10 ways to step-by-step ensure that you get the job, set yourself up for success.
00:02:38.000 This is major, man.
00:02:39.000 I mean, nowadays, people apply for jobs, they don't do a resume, a CV, they just kind of wing it, or you shot JPT with no type of contact.
00:02:47.000 So, we got you guys today, man, for sure.
00:02:50.000 Yeah, and the other thing too, guys, is, well, actually, let me make the announcement real quick before we get into the preamble here.
00:02:56.000 Rumble.
00:02:57.000 Rumble.com slash Fresh and Fit, guys.
00:02:58.000 Check us out over there.
00:02:59.000 Also, CastleClub.tv, as you guys know.
00:03:01.000 That's where you can get all the behind-the-scenes content.
00:03:02.000 And we also upload all of our content to Castle Club, man.
00:03:05.000 So when we live stream, it's all there.
00:03:07.000 So if something does happen, you can always find the content over there on CastleClub.tv.
00:03:12.000 And then also Rumble.com slash Fresh and Fit.
00:03:14.000 I even posted my Columbia, some of it, on Castle Club, yeah.
00:03:17.000 Nice.
00:03:18.000 Back in one piece.
00:03:20.000 Yeah, back in one piece from there with the network.
00:03:23.000 Yes, sir.
00:03:24.000 What else?
00:03:26.000 Bill's Moe, y'all got anything?
00:03:28.000 It's Monday, bro.
00:03:29.000 Not early.
00:03:30.000 Yeah, we're out here early.
00:03:31.000 Yeah, man.
00:03:32.000 We're out here early, but glad to be with you guys.
00:03:37.000 You guys can follow me at Big Moe underscore B-I-T-W. That is B-I-G-M-O underscore B-I-T-W. Don't forget the memo to believe in Big Moe because that is the M-O. Bills?
00:03:49.000 Hey, what's going on, y'all?
00:03:50.000 We all here a little early, but happy Money Mondays.
00:03:53.000 You guys can follow me on Instagram at jbills, J-B-I-L-Z. Yeah.
00:03:57.000 So, prior shows, people asked us about getting jobs, you know, through resumes.
00:04:03.000 And we planned to do this a while back, but today we came with the info today.
00:04:07.000 And obviously speaking, guys, we're going to see real-time Myron's physical resume.
00:04:12.000 Good examples, bad examples, but more importantly, we're going to break down how to do the resume from A to Z. So...
00:04:18.000 Yeah.
00:04:18.000 And the other thing, too, I want to make sure...
00:04:21.000 Sorry, guys.
00:04:21.000 I'm, like, adjusting the slider, right?
00:04:23.000 We got to flex a little bit here and make sure people know that we got some good equipment here.
00:04:31.000 Sorry about that.
00:04:32.000 But, I mean, honestly, guys, most people nowadays, though, don't know how to do a resume.
00:04:37.000 And as a result, they wing it, like I said earlier.
00:04:39.000 But the biggest thing is understanding your employer doesn't know you as yet.
00:04:43.000 So this is going to kind of negate that recognition right off the bat.
00:04:46.000 Yeah, and here's the other thing, too.
00:04:47.000 You guys are asking, probably, yo, how did you guys come about this, whatever?
00:04:54.000 So about three weeks ago, I want to say, almost a month ago, someone called in and said, hey man, y'all should do an episode on how to write up a resume and be prepared for a job interview, whatever.
00:05:04.000 And in my head, I was like, wait, hold on a second.
00:05:05.000 This is actually a very good idea, because let's keep it a thousand.
00:05:08.000 And I want to have this very tough talk with you guys before we get into this.
00:05:11.000 Not all of you are cut out to be entrepreneurs.
00:05:13.000 Most of you are going to have to get a job and or work for someone for a period of time.
00:05:18.000 Even if you want to be an entrepreneur, you're going to need to learn how to work under somebody to some degree.
00:05:22.000 This whole idea of I'm going to become a 20-year-old millionaire entrepreneur, that's far and few between.
00:05:27.000 A lot of times the people that teach you this stuff on courses and tell you be rich in your 20s, blah, blah, blah, it's all fucking capped.
00:05:33.000 You're going to have to start and get a real job and learn some real skills and more than likely use that if you want to build up a business later on.
00:05:40.000 This whole thing of becoming a millionaire in your 20s, guys, that's less than 1% of the population.
00:05:44.000 You've got a better chance of making a goddamn MBA. So the reality is you need to know how to do this.
00:05:49.000 This is a skill set that you need to know.
00:05:50.000 And there's nothing wrong with working with somebody, right?
00:05:53.000 And I've been super honest about this with y'all.
00:05:56.000 We have way too much entrepreneur porn on the internet, whether it's on YouTube, Instagram, etc.
00:06:01.000 They got everybody working on a laptop from fucking the Bahamas trying to tell you, this is my laptop lifestyle, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you know what I mean?
00:06:09.000 And they're making it seem like being an entrepreneur and traveling is so cool and everything else like that.
00:06:14.000 What they don't show you is the hours of toil, the hard work, working all the time.
00:06:19.000 Everything you do revolves around the business, you know what I mean?
00:06:22.000 How it literally takes your life over.
00:06:24.000 They don't show you all that.
00:06:25.000 They show you the highlight reels, but they don't show you all the struggle it takes to even be able to get one of those highlight reels.
00:06:31.000 I think personally, if you want to master a business, start from the bottom up.
00:06:34.000 Learn from the very bottom as an employee.
00:06:37.000 Learn how things work.
00:06:39.000 Maneuvering, for example, the equipment.
00:06:40.000 The staff, how your boss operates, what he does for a living, behind the scenes.
00:06:45.000 I can do this as well.
00:06:45.000 Okay, cool, you know what?
00:06:47.000 And then from there, run that business.
00:06:49.000 We tell you guys all the time, entrepreneurship is great, but we're not delusional as well.
00:06:53.000 I'm going to tell you that all of you can be entrepreneurs and all of you guys are going to become millionaires, whatever.
00:06:57.000 We have to be practical here and tell you that a lot of you guys are going to have to get a high-income skill, get a job, make money, and then you can choose if you want to go ahead.
00:07:05.000 I mean, we have jobs too.
00:07:06.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:07:07.000 Multiple jobs, by the way.
00:07:08.000 Nothing wrong with that shit.
00:07:10.000 And honestly, you're better off...
00:07:12.000 Guys, a lot of you guys say, yo, Myron, you're an inspiration to me, I learned a lot from you, whatever, blah, blah.
00:07:17.000 Bro, the reason you guys have the modern games that you guys have now is because I worked fucking jobs!
00:07:22.000 Like, I had real jobs, real experience.
00:07:24.000 That's why I don't respect a lot of these YouTubers, because a lot of them never had a real job.
00:07:28.000 They never understood chain of command.
00:07:29.000 They never understood, like, really getting it out the fucking mud.
00:07:32.000 They just decided to turn on the fucking camera and stream themselves playing video games, and they were able to become successful and make money doing that, which is great to them, but they don't have any real world experience.
00:07:41.000 So, for the rest of you guys that live in the real world, I think this is applicable knowledge That you guys can go ahead and take with you that will serve you throughout the rest of your life.
00:07:50.000 But the reality is not everyone's cut out to be an entrepreneur.
00:07:52.000 Don't fall for the entrepreneur porn all over the internet.
00:07:54.000 And there's nothing wrong with being an employee.
00:07:56.000 The goal isn't to become an entrepreneur, guys.
00:07:58.000 The goal is to become financially free.
00:08:00.000 If that means that you get a high-income skill that allows you to get a high-paying job, you can save that money and still buy your freedom through real estate, investing, etc.
00:08:07.000 It might take you a little bit longer.
00:08:09.000 It might not be the most traditional way to go about it.
00:08:11.000 But there's plenty of doctors, lawyers, etc.
00:08:13.000 that are real estate investors.
00:08:15.000 They have money on the side because they learned a high-income skill, which allowed them to diversify and save that money and then invest it, and then they were able to choose to work when they want to work.
00:08:25.000 You know how many doctors I've seen, especially the guys that are making a couple hundred thousand dollars a year, where they only work one day a week, and they're doing it just because they enjoy it.
00:08:32.000 They want to keep their practice up, but they already have a bunch of investments set up, whatever.
00:08:35.000 So they're basically choosing how much they want to work, and that's where I want you guys to be.
00:08:40.000 Not everyone's cut out to be an entrepreneur, and there's nothing wrong with that.
00:08:42.000 There's nothing wrong with having a job.
00:08:44.000 Yeah, 100%.
00:08:45.000 We have some chats here, and then we'll get into it.
00:08:46.000 Yeah, chats, and then we'll go ahead and hit the stuff with y'all.
00:08:50.000 Let's see here.
00:08:53.000 Juana.
00:08:53.000 Juana goes, five bucks, appreciate that.
00:08:57.000 And then we got, and this is probably going to be one of the most important episodes we've done, by the way, for you guys.
00:09:01.000 Yeah, for a while.
00:09:03.000 Juana says, nigga, bring your hair doctor on.
00:09:05.000 I think I'm going to Turkey.
00:09:07.000 So he says, bring your hair doctor on for a podcast, pretty much.
00:09:11.000 Gabity says, haters of three or fours would say no, won't watch if it was for the girls.
00:09:11.000 Yeah.
00:09:16.000 Yeah, man, we add more value than just girls, man.
00:09:18.000 We have also as well, Monday Mondays, and as well, especially guys on the show, too.
00:09:21.000 None of our competitors can do this.
00:09:22.000 And like I said before, a lot of these episodes are not as profitable, but we do them anyway because it's that important for you guys.
00:09:27.000 So for anybody out there trying to say, you guys are in it for the money, too.
00:09:31.000 Absolutely we are.
00:09:32.000 However, it is not the linchpin that decides if we're going to do something or not.
00:09:32.000 We never denied that.
00:09:36.000 Because I'll tell y'all this, if we just wanted to make money, we would not do daytime shows whatsoever.
00:09:40.000 We would just do after hours, and we'd be chilling, hanging out, and promoting gambling and alcohol for y'all.
00:09:44.000 We'd have huge sponsors, man.
00:09:46.000 That too.
00:09:46.000 So, you know, people trying to sit there and compare ourselves to them and like, you guys do it for the money too.
00:09:52.000 We are not the same, my friend, at all.
00:09:54.000 We actually add value back.
00:09:55.000 That puts us in the red.
00:09:57.000 But that's okay.
00:09:58.000 We don't mind because that's how important this shit is.
00:10:00.000 Fresh the pug.
00:10:00.000 Okay.
00:10:01.000 Funny bro.
00:10:02.000 Yo, Myron, is it you operating the Twitter?
00:10:04.000 Because I see an account with your name interacting with the copycat Big Feet Woman.
00:10:08.000 And there's a British guy, TikTok something, hitting on you.
00:10:11.000 Don't have it on the show.
00:10:13.000 Is the IRL with the fake Tricon today?
00:10:17.000 Yes, that is Myron on Twitter, by the way.
00:10:19.000 That is Myron on Twitter, man.
00:10:20.000 You guys unleashed this beast, man.
00:10:22.000 I mean, hopefully this doesn't turn into something bad, but he's on Twitter.
00:10:27.000 I think it's Unplug Fit X. Unplug Fit X. There you go.
00:10:31.000 Unplug Fit X. That is Myron tweeting to you directly.
00:10:34.000 Wait, they don't think it's me?
00:10:35.000 Yeah, they think it's somebody else.
00:10:37.000 So apparently, I didn't believe it was you the first time.
00:10:41.000 He says someone's interacting with the copycat Big Feet Woman.
00:10:46.000 Remember the one I met at the CME? Oyster?
00:10:49.000 I don't have a problem with her, guys.
00:10:51.000 I don't hate her.
00:10:52.000 Like I said, I don't have a...
00:10:54.000 I don't hate her.
00:10:56.000 So, like I said, it's just not...
00:10:59.000 Okay.
00:10:59.000 Yeah.
00:10:59.000 Austin C. Thanks for all the encouragement, guys.
00:11:02.000 Interview coming up for a position as a power lineman.
00:11:04.000 Time to double my income.
00:11:05.000 Good stuff.
00:11:05.000 Sell your video games and get up at 3am, motherfuckers.
00:11:08.000 That's facts, bro.
00:11:09.000 Nice.
00:11:10.000 Haitian Jack.
00:11:11.000 Yo, boy, speaking facts.
00:11:12.000 I've been an HVAC tech making 100k a year on the verge of getting my contractor's license.
00:11:16.000 Blue Collar Guts is where he's at.
00:11:18.000 That's facts, man.
00:11:19.000 People sleep on that as well.
00:11:21.000 And then some rumble rants here, and we'll get into the topic.
00:11:24.000 Okay.
00:11:26.000 Thank you so much for this episode.
00:11:27.000 Do you recommend that we use LinkedIn?
00:11:28.000 I have a LinkedIn account, but I never use it as there's too much ass-kissing going on in that platform.
00:11:33.000 I never use LinkedIn, man, but I understand that for some...
00:11:36.000 It's better to have it than not have it at all.
00:11:37.000 Yeah.
00:11:37.000 Yeah, it's better...
00:11:38.000 We just have that lease.
00:11:41.000 Geo-vlogs it.
00:11:41.000 Geo-vlogs it.
00:11:42.000 What's up, what's up, y'all boys?
00:11:43.000 No, y'all doing on this Fine Money Monday.
00:11:46.000 CBum won, like I said in the last show show.
00:11:48.000 If you guys have him on, bro, that would be a fire show.
00:11:50.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:50.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:50.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:50.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:50.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:51.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:51.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:51.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:52.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:53.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:55.000 That would be a fire show.
00:11:56.000 That would be a fire show.
00:12:09.000 Shout out to you guys.
00:12:09.000 Been watching for three years.
00:12:10.000 Got my CD out last year.
00:12:11.000 Just landed a job making $150K. Keep it up, fellas.
00:12:13.000 You are changing lives out here.
00:12:14.000 We got you, my friend.
00:12:15.000 Shout out to you, bro.
00:12:16.000 All right.
00:12:17.000 So, alright guys, so we're going to go ahead and go over 10 things that you need to have in place, right, before you go and do your job interview or during a job interview, okay?
00:12:25.000 So, number one, guys, okay, and yeah, guys, from this point forward, Rumble Rants are going to be 5 and up, and then the, actually, no, we'll go 10 and up on everything, 10 and up on everything, guys, because we're a little bit shorter for time today.
00:12:39.000 You guys like that background right there, man?
00:12:41.000 It's clean, bro.
00:12:42.000 Okay.
00:12:43.000 So number one, guys, wear a suit and be clean-shaven and or minimize facial hair, neat hair, and conceal any tattoos.
00:12:52.000 Huge.
00:12:54.000 So, unfortunately, you know, our race of people like to have dreads and a lot of hair because it's a time to grow.
00:13:07.000 But most employers, man, are not into the Afro-culture like you think they are.
00:13:12.000 The urban look.
00:13:12.000 And as a result, your clean-shaven look, or at least structured and lined-up look, goes way further than the natural flow of things.
00:13:21.000 So, number one, guys.
00:13:23.000 Presentation is key at interviews.
00:13:26.000 And I'll never forget this, man.
00:13:27.000 I went to an interview.
00:13:29.000 You guys saw it actually on the internet.
00:13:31.000 Grant Cardone.
00:13:33.000 I took most of my hair off, clean shaven, showed up, presentable.
00:13:37.000 Especially for sales.
00:13:38.000 Now, I didn't get the job, but I came ready for the position.
00:13:42.000 And most of you guys out there, don't take care of yourself hygiene-wise.
00:13:44.000 And looks-wise, man, look at you and say, you know what?
00:13:47.000 Can I see you in my office?
00:13:48.000 I can't.
00:13:49.000 And as a result, they say, you know what, bro?
00:13:51.000 You may be qualified, you may have experience, but...
00:13:54.000 You don't want to part.
00:13:55.000 So, on some level, guys, understand the interview process is also on paper, but also looks.
00:14:01.000 If you don't take care of yourself, why would they hire you anyway?
00:14:03.000 So, 100%.
00:14:04.000 Yeah.
00:14:06.000 The reality, guys, is image matters, okay?
00:14:08.000 You need to go in there with a goddamn suit.
00:14:10.000 You need to go in there business, wear the tie, etc.
00:14:12.000 Even if it's overkill, wear a suit.
00:14:14.000 It shows that you're serious.
00:14:15.000 It shows that you respect the position.
00:14:17.000 It shows that you respect the interviewer's time.
00:14:21.000 You know, and it shows that you're just an individual where you got your stuff.
00:14:25.000 We used to call him the government.
00:14:26.000 He's a squared away individual.
00:14:27.000 That's what you want to be.
00:14:28.000 You want to be that guy where you take shit seriously, you show up, and you mean business.
00:14:33.000 And a suit says that in a very profound way.
00:14:36.000 And people forget posture as well.
00:14:37.000 Guys, firm handshake, smile.
00:14:41.000 Don't be weird because they're looking at you and everything that you do.
00:14:44.000 Also, remember guys, in the interview process, they want to make sure that you're actually able to do the job that you apply for, and you're not a weirdo.
00:14:52.000 So, office politics goes a long way.
00:14:55.000 And for the most part, people that come into job interviews are not ready for people skills at all.
00:15:00.000 They just say, you know what, I have some experience or I have like a degree.
00:15:03.000 I should get a job off default.
00:15:05.000 But guys, posture is very important, man.
00:15:07.000 I can't tell you this enough because a lot of people neglect that part.
00:15:10.000 And again, this is a key here you can use for yourself as an employee, trying to get a job with an employer.
00:15:16.000 Look at their mission statement for the company.
00:15:18.000 What do they want in their employees?
00:15:20.000 They want to have people that, for example, focus on customer service, focus on tech.
00:15:25.000 Look at the admission statement on the website.
00:15:27.000 Study it.
00:15:28.000 So when you go to interview, you can come prepared and say, hey, I saw your website.
00:15:32.000 You're looking for dedicated folks, individuals in this sector of like finance or tech.
00:15:38.000 They're going to say, wow.
00:15:39.000 He did some research, he saw what we were about, and he came with value to add to the company.
00:15:44.000 That's huge.
00:15:45.000 Well that segues into number two.
00:15:46.000 It's huge.
00:15:46.000 So the first thing guys is wear a suit, obviously clean-shaven, minimize facial hair, neat hair, and then conceal your tattoos.
00:15:53.000 And I'll be honest with y'all, like I said, like Fresh Set before, you guys can call us racist, whatever the fuck you want, but they are gonna judge you if you go in there with dreadlocks and braids, especially depending on the position that you're interviewing for.
00:16:03.000 And it sucks, but it's reality, man.
00:16:04.000 It's the reality, bro.
00:16:05.000 People are going to judge a book by its cover.
00:16:06.000 The next thing is absolutely research the company and the position that you're applying for.
00:16:11.000 You need to know the mission statement.
00:16:13.000 You need to know their rules, their values, etc.
00:16:19.000 You need to know all these things so that you understand.
00:16:22.000 So if they do mention certain things, you know what to say.
00:16:25.000 You know how to respond to certain things.
00:16:27.000 If they try to quiz you, you'll know what they do.
00:16:29.000 Yeah.
00:16:51.000 I've been at Starbucks studying positions, companies, and trying to get a job, right, for a month straight.
00:16:58.000 So my resume itself was tailored towards a certain avenue of tech, but again, I had to learn from experience.
00:17:05.000 But all fruit guys, I realize, especially with interviews, people want to know that you're doing research on a company.
00:17:11.000 So here's the cheat code you can use as well.
00:17:13.000 Glassdoor.
00:17:14.000 So a lot of employees, right, complain on Glassdoor about companies, maybe how they run their staff.
00:17:20.000 Tell the people what Glassdoor is.
00:17:22.000 So basically, it's a review-type website where you can post about a company, the good and the bad.
00:17:27.000 But of course, people will post mainly the bad.
00:17:29.000 But with the bad as well, you can learn from that as well.
00:17:31.000 So I would just say, a tip is, go to Glassdoor at a company, see how they treat their employees and what they're about, and take from that to kind of like, I want to say, counteract any issues.
00:17:40.000 Because what employers do is they go to Glassdoor and say, okay, This is a common issue with our company that employees have.
00:17:46.000 Let's see if this person is going to fall into that category of, like, this bad behavior.
00:17:50.000 If you can kind of, like, cover that rejection up front, you win.
00:17:53.000 Because, again, they want to see if you're going to follow that path with these bad employees that kind of talked about them on the website.
00:17:58.000 So I'll say a cheat code is a glassware as well.
00:18:00.000 You can use to kind of have knowledge of what the staff is about.
00:18:03.000 Okay.
00:18:04.000 All right.
00:18:05.000 So the first thing, again, wear a suit, clean-shaven, Minimize any type of facial hair, guys.
00:18:11.000 Obviously, come clean.
00:18:12.000 You got braids or some stupid-ass hairstyle, get rid of that shit, man.
00:18:16.000 This is the professional world now, okay?
00:18:16.000 Sorry, guys.
00:18:19.000 And then we talked about researching the company and knowing the position.
00:18:22.000 Third, bring a copy of your resume, guys.
00:18:26.000 Preferably two copies.
00:18:27.000 One for the interviewer, one for yourself, okay?
00:18:31.000 Because the reality is, guys, when you go to these companies and they're bigger, whatever it may be, the person that's interviewing you...
00:18:36.000 A lot of the times might not necessarily been the individual that first saw your resume and picked you to be interviewed.
00:18:41.000 Does that make sense?
00:18:43.000 Especially if you're dealing with a big company.
00:18:44.000 All this stuff is compartmentalized.
00:18:45.000 So the person that picked you off of your resume is a lot of times not going to be the same individual that interviews you.
00:18:51.000 So bring your resume, right?
00:18:54.000 We're going to talk about memorizing and everything else like that beforehand, but bring your resume and bring one to two copies extra with you to give to the people that are interviewing you so they can go ahead and go through it quickly and get a snapshot of who they have across the table from them because they might not necessarily have it.
00:19:11.000 And one thing about Glassdoor, guys, people will post their experience in interviews as well.
00:19:14.000 Some of them will.
00:19:15.000 And that's kind of like an introduction to what you might be getting into off-rip.
00:19:20.000 So that's another cheat code there as well.
00:19:21.000 But just out to your point regarding the actual resume, having a copy for yourself shows you're one prepared so you can actually reference what you're talking about in real time.
00:19:30.000 That's actually huge as well.
00:19:31.000 Yeah.
00:19:32.000 So always bring a copy of your resume, guys, just so, you know, and who knows, you might get interviewed by two to three people.
00:19:39.000 So bring extra copies, one for yourself for sure, and then at least bring two copies, okay?
00:19:44.000 I can say a little shout-out, guys.
00:19:45.000 I've applied for many jobs online, but everything I got to interview in person, I always got it.
00:19:51.000 Because I came prepared, one.
00:19:52.000 I came with two resumes as well.
00:19:54.000 And I knew the company mission statement.
00:19:56.000 I didn't know what I'm looking for from their employees.
00:19:58.000 And guys, please be presentable.
00:20:00.000 Don't fold it up and put it in your fucking pocket.
00:20:03.000 Yeah.
00:20:03.000 Bring the resume in like a folder or something like that.
00:20:06.000 Or like some kind of, you know, nice little thing, right?
00:20:08.000 Like maybe a little notebook or something like that.
00:20:10.000 Like put it in there.
00:20:11.000 If you can and you're really fancy, use professional paper.
00:20:14.000 Don't use computer grade paper.
00:20:16.000 Like bring it like in the paper that's like a little bit has more density to it.
00:20:19.000 And again, bring a few copies.
00:20:22.000 Have it in the thing.
00:20:24.000 Obviously, you're coming in with your suit.
00:20:25.000 You got the resume there.
00:20:27.000 You're going to be looking like a million bucks.
00:20:28.000 You're going to be prepared.
00:20:29.000 When you sit down, obviously, you introduce yourself, blah, blah, blah.
00:20:32.000 We're going to talk about that here in a second.
00:20:33.000 But you hand them a copy, and then you have a copy as well, just in case.
00:20:37.000 Be professional, man.
00:20:38.000 Remember, guys, you want the job.
00:20:41.000 You're competing with other individuals.
00:20:42.000 It's your job to distinguish yourself from all the other morons.
00:20:45.000 And this is their first time meeting you for the first time.
00:20:48.000 I mean, obviously speaking, you want to have a good impression, and it starts with looks, of course, then the resume as well, in your hand.
00:20:53.000 Yes.
00:20:54.000 Also, another one.
00:20:57.000 Guys, arrive at your interview 20 to 30 minutes before the interview.
00:21:04.000 Let me...
00:21:05.000 That's huge, by the way.
00:21:08.000 Get this into your fucking brains.
00:21:11.000 If you get there late or just on time, that's not a good look.
00:21:14.000 Get there 20 to 30 minutes before your interview.
00:21:20.000 Okay?
00:21:21.000 And there's a couple reasons for this.
00:21:23.000 Number one, you might not necessarily be familiar with where the hell it's at.
00:21:26.000 You might not know where the interview is going to be at.
00:21:28.000 It gives yourself a little bit more wiggle room, right?
00:21:30.000 Or how it's set up, whatever, right?
00:21:32.000 Maybe you got to get through security, get through the building.
00:21:34.000 All these things.
00:21:36.000 Also, you're probably going to have to check in with somebody beforehand.
00:21:39.000 You want to be able to go ahead and get there early, and they're going to remember that, oh, this guy came in early.
00:21:44.000 And you best believe that the interviewer is going to speak to the person that you check in with.
00:21:49.000 Be polite to every single fucking person that you see there.
00:21:53.000 I don't care if it's a janitor.
00:21:55.000 You need to be polite to everybody because you don't know who the boss talks to.
00:21:58.000 And more than likely, everybody that's involved in the interview process, whether it's the person that seats you, maybe the receptionist that takes your name in, maybe the person that signs you in, whatever the fuck...
00:22:07.000 Everyone there, more than likely, is gonna speak to the person that's interviewing you, and he's probably gonna ask, what was his temperance?
00:22:13.000 What was he like?
00:22:14.000 Oh yeah, he showed up really early, blah blah blah.
00:22:15.000 Like, all these things add up, guys.
00:22:17.000 And what you're trying to do is, with your presentation, coming in well-groomed, well-spoken, dressed well, coming in with extra copies of the resume, right?
00:22:26.000 In a nice, neat folder, right?
00:22:28.000 It's a good paper.
00:22:29.000 It shows that you mean fucking business, and you're a squared-away individual.
00:22:33.000 Mike brought up a very good point.
00:22:35.000 Coming early prepares you in the interim.
00:22:38.000 So let me explain.
00:22:39.000 If you come early, right, you can meet people by the counter, maybe their front desk, janitor, maybe some of the people in HR. Here's a secret.
00:22:49.000 Learn their names.
00:22:50.000 I'll tell you why.
00:22:51.000 When you get that interview process right, you're going to say, oh yeah, I came pretty early here and I met Janet at the front desk.
00:22:57.000 Really awesome person.
00:22:58.000 I'm just curious, what's Janet's position or whatever?
00:23:02.000 Basically, you want to create small talk with the employees because you get to know them on a first-name basis and then, wow, this person came early and didn't know our staff already.
00:23:09.000 So just having that interaction with the clients right away, the employees, knowing them on a first-name basis is huge as well.
00:23:15.000 Yeah.
00:23:15.000 And being polite, too.
00:23:17.000 Because what the thing is, is this.
00:23:18.000 A lot of people are polite out of necessity and not because they want to be.
00:23:24.000 You need to learn how to just be polite in general.
00:23:25.000 And this is a skill set that you need to learn before you even get into the professional world.
00:23:29.000 Like, you need to treat everyone with respect, guys.
00:23:31.000 I'm talking about the guy that serves your food.
00:23:33.000 Your waiter, waitress, whatever it may be.
00:23:35.000 Like, you should be polite to everyone that you deal with because you don't know who knows what or who the hell is who.
00:23:40.000 So, especially when you walk into that setting, you go in a building, you need to treat everyone with respect because you best believe the person that interviews you more than likely is going to ask questions about your temperance and how you behaved, etc.
00:23:50.000 And trust me, they will talk behind your back.
00:23:52.000 They'll say, okay, this person came in 20 minutes late.
00:23:54.000 They were not hygienic.
00:23:56.000 They were really off-center.
00:23:58.000 They were not really focused.
00:23:59.000 And yeah, they're not good employees to hire.
00:24:01.000 Versus you come early.
00:24:02.000 You know everyone's name.
00:24:03.000 You're nice.
00:24:04.000 You're courteous.
00:24:04.000 You're humble.
00:24:05.000 You know what?
00:24:06.000 He's a good guy.
00:24:07.000 Let's look into this further.
00:24:08.000 Maybe hire him for long term.
00:24:10.000 Okay.
00:24:11.000 Yeah.
00:24:11.000 Now, when you go in, right?
00:24:14.000 So when you go in and you take a seat, right?
00:24:17.000 Make sure you shake the person's hand firmly.
00:24:20.000 No fucking weird handshakes like this or anything like that.
00:24:23.000 Nice, firm handshake, guys.
00:24:24.000 Okay?
00:24:26.000 Look them in the eye.
00:24:28.000 Obviously, you're standing.
00:24:29.000 You're not sitting down or whatever.
00:24:30.000 Let's say they seat you down and then the interviewer comes in after the fact.
00:24:33.000 You stand your ass up and you shake their hand and you look them in the eye.
00:24:36.000 You don't sit there.
00:24:37.000 No.
00:24:38.000 You stand up, look them in the eye, shake their hand, and then you sit and you say, hey, nice to meet you.
00:24:42.000 My name is XYZ, blah, blah, blah.
00:24:44.000 Nice to meet you, blah, blah, blah.
00:24:45.000 And then, boom, you get started with the interview.
00:24:48.000 And When you introduce yourself, guys, you know, obviously they use something called the SEAT method, which actually this is, I was taught this in college when I was there, which is basically you want to quickly summarize yourself with your skills, your experience, education,
00:25:03.000 achievements, and type of person that you are.
00:25:05.000 Okay?
00:25:06.000 So...
00:25:07.000 For example, I can say, for me, my name is Myron Gaines, you know, former special agent with Homeland Security Investigations.
00:25:13.000 I did that for the better part of a decade.
00:25:16.000 I have a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
00:25:21.000 During my experience as a special agent, I investigated Several high-level crimes at the federal and state level, and I'm a very tenacious person that goes after what I want and very motivated, self-driven,
00:25:36.000 and I will not take no for an answer.
00:25:38.000 Something like that, right?
00:25:39.000 This is kind of cheesy, but you guys get the idea.
00:25:41.000 The point is that what did I do in that little introduction?
00:25:43.000 I gave my skills, my experience, my education, my achievements, and the type of person that I am.
00:25:48.000 And I summarized it all Within the introduction.
00:25:51.000 That's very important, guys.
00:25:52.000 It is.
00:25:53.000 And guys, nowadays, for most people, ever since COVID happened, you do Zoom interviews, right?
00:25:57.000 And people often forget, eye contact is very important.
00:26:01.000 Eye contact.
00:26:02.000 Why is that?
00:26:03.000 People get a job interview, look to the left, look to the right.
00:26:07.000 I don't know.
00:26:08.000 Yeah, I'm good at these skills, whatever, but it was eye contact.
00:26:11.000 You're not confident.
00:26:12.000 You're like, yo, this guy's kind of awkward.
00:26:13.000 It's not going to work out.
00:26:15.000 So, very important, guys.
00:26:16.000 When you're in an interview, a person, or on Zoom, eye contact is key.
00:26:20.000 100%.
00:26:20.000 Also, you need to speak from what I call the active voice and not the passive voice.
00:26:25.000 Don't use terms like, I think.
00:26:27.000 No, it's, this is what, like, oh, I know X, Y, Z, I've done this, etc.
00:26:31.000 It's not, I think, or I hope, or I wish.
00:26:34.000 None of that bullshit.
00:26:35.000 It's active voice.
00:26:37.000 You speak in the affirmative all the time.
00:26:38.000 You got to speak confidently about yourself.
00:26:40.000 They did a study.
00:26:41.000 The more confident you are in interviews, the more you get paid.
00:26:43.000 If you're like lackadaisical, you're more chill.
00:26:45.000 Oh, I think this is this.
00:26:47.000 You know what?
00:26:48.000 If we hire him, we could train him, but he's not really that experienced.
00:26:51.000 Versus you have experience and you're confident.
00:26:53.000 Oh, he's this guy.
00:26:54.000 He can give us these results.
00:26:55.000 We'll pay him more money.
00:26:57.000 Off rip.
00:26:57.000 But to be clear, that's not to be cocky either, guys.
00:27:00.000 There's a very clear balance between coming in confident.
00:27:04.000 She belongs to the streets.
00:27:05.000 Sorry, my bad.
00:27:06.000 Coming in confidently, right?
00:27:08.000 And knowing your worth versus coming in cocky and thinking you deserve the job.
00:27:13.000 And you run shit, yeah.
00:27:14.000 And you run shit, right?
00:27:15.000 You need to go in there where you're dressed well and you take the job process seriously, but at the same time you're letting them know, I take this shit seriously and trust me, other people want to hire me.
00:27:25.000 You need to come in with that type of thing.
00:27:27.000 Not obviously saying it, but you need to be squared away where the employer is interviewing you saying, okay, this guy has his shit together.
00:27:33.000 This guy's squared away.
00:27:35.000 He showed up early.
00:27:36.000 He's dressed well.
00:27:36.000 He's got a shirt and tie on.
00:27:38.000 He's overdressed for the situation.
00:27:40.000 When in doubt, over-fucking-dress.
00:27:42.000 Fitted suits, motherfuckers.
00:27:42.000 Okay?
00:27:44.000 I don't want none of you guys wearing these goddamn suits that are all baggy, looking like crap, etc.
00:27:49.000 Also, I'll be honest with y'all.
00:27:50.000 If you're fat and you look like shit, that's gonna hurt you.
00:27:54.000 That's going to hurt you, guys.
00:27:57.000 Not only is your suit going to look like a goddamn picnic table and not be fitted to you and stuff like that, it says a lot about your personality.
00:28:05.000 It shows that you lack discipline.
00:28:06.000 It shows that you lack consistency.
00:28:08.000 It shows that you don't have the ability to stick to things long term.
00:28:12.000 So being fat is unacceptable as well.
00:28:15.000 And there's no excuse, guys.
00:28:16.000 If you want a suit, there's Zara, there's H&M. I mean, you can get a tailor as well, but honestly, that should be fine for you.
00:28:22.000 You're better off.
00:28:23.000 Getting a tailored, cheap suit than getting an expensive, untailored suit.
00:28:28.000 One more time for now!
00:28:31.000 You are better off getting a cheap suit that's well tailored than buying a very nice suit that isn't tailored.
00:28:40.000 You understand?
00:28:41.000 Okay, guys?
00:28:41.000 So, make sure, obviously, brown belt, brown shoes.
00:28:45.000 Black belt, black shoes.
00:28:47.000 Go conservative colors.
00:28:48.000 Navy blue, black.
00:28:50.000 Okay?
00:28:51.000 Can you do gray every now and then?
00:28:53.000 Potentially, yeah.
00:28:53.000 Just don't be too ostentatious with the colors, with the shirt underneath, etc.
00:28:57.000 But...
00:28:58.000 To be safe, especially if you're going to do a conservative job, like a law enforcement, something like that, you want to wear black or blue.
00:29:06.000 I remember I wore a gray suit one time, but I wore it a certain way.
00:29:11.000 So just know what type of job field you're going into, but black and blue, you're not going to go wrong.
00:29:18.000 A nice Navy suit will never fail you.
00:29:19.000 I thought about wearing black, but then they might not see me in an interview, so I wore blue.
00:29:23.000 You know what I'm saying?
00:29:25.000 What?
00:29:26.000 Bloom green, bro!
00:29:27.000 Like, you can't see me for all black, man!
00:29:29.000 I'm just saying, bro!
00:29:30.000 Damn!
00:29:32.000 Now, uh, so, okay guys, always, right, so during the interview, right, they're gonna be asking you questions, right?
00:29:39.000 Always match up your strengths with the duties of the job, right?
00:29:42.000 So, for example, um, let's say you're doing a job where it's a lot of, um, self-management, right?
00:29:47.000 You don't have a lot of oversight, you know, you gotta be able to think outside the box and you gotta be able to make things happen, um, Without getting your hand held and not being micromanaged, right?
00:29:57.000 This is like, for my job, when I was a special agent, it's a very self-managerial type job.
00:30:01.000 You get a lot of freedom.
00:30:02.000 You can come and go as you please.
00:30:03.000 You don't clock in.
00:30:04.000 You get a take-home car.
00:30:06.000 All this shit.
00:30:07.000 But with that said, with freedom comes what?
00:30:09.000 Responsibility and authority.
00:30:11.000 So you need to be able to illustrate that not only can you thrive with freedom, but on top of that...
00:30:18.000 You have the skill set to think outside the box.
00:30:21.000 So, let's say the job I'm applying for, it requires a lot of outside the box thinking, innovative thinking, being able to make shit happen on the fly.
00:30:30.000 I would give an example, at my last job, I'm doing an operation, we're gonna do a drug buy or whatever, and the informant is running late.
00:30:37.000 But we gotta tell the bad guys that we're gonna make something happen.
00:30:41.000 Well, I can send an undercover in and he delays time.
00:30:43.000 I was able to make a split second decision, make something happen, and then the informer showed up later and we were able to, you know, continue the operation, whatever.
00:30:50.000 That's just giving you guys an example.
00:30:51.000 What the point is, I'm trying to say here is, if the job requires, you know, critical thinking skills, or being able to make things happen on the spot, or being able to think outside the box, you want to make sure that your strengths and your experiences align with whatever they're looking for.
00:31:07.000 And you need to have a good story that you can use to illustrate that, right?
00:31:10.000 To give some social proof.
00:31:12.000 And how do you know what they want?
00:31:13.000 Mission statement.
00:31:15.000 Glassdoor examples.
00:31:16.000 Do your research.
00:31:17.000 Research.
00:31:17.000 You'll find this out.
00:31:18.000 Beforehand.
00:31:18.000 That's how you know.
00:31:19.000 Yep.
00:31:20.000 So, man, yo, goddamn.
00:31:21.000 We're giving y'all a lot of sauce right now, man.
00:31:24.000 I wonder if any of the other, you know, copycats or haters or anything else like that, are they giving this kind of value?
00:31:30.000 Nope.
00:31:30.000 A lot of them never even had a real job before.
00:31:32.000 Exactly.
00:31:33.000 Nope.
00:31:33.000 And if they did, it was a McDonald's.
00:31:35.000 It's some bullshit.
00:31:35.000 Target.
00:31:36.000 Some bullshit.
00:31:36.000 Just saying.
00:31:37.000 But it's fine.
00:31:38.000 Okay, so I think we're midway through here.
00:31:41.000 So, quick little recap for you guys that are just joining us.
00:31:47.000 Bro.
00:31:48.000 Number one, guys, wear a suit, be clean-shaven, and or minimize facial hair, neat hair, and then conceal any tattoos.
00:31:59.000 Research the company and her position.
00:32:00.000 Make sure you know what you're doing and what you're getting yourself into.
00:32:03.000 Bring a copy of your resume for yourself and for the interviewee.
00:32:06.000 Show up 20 to 30 minutes early.
00:32:11.000 Be polite to everyone there at the location.
00:32:13.000 Always match up your strengths, especially that are on your resume, with what the job duties require.
00:32:20.000 Okay?
00:32:20.000 So it seems like it's a perfect fit.
00:32:23.000 And then when you introduce yourself, use the C method.
00:32:26.000 Introduce yourself, my name is XYZ. Mention your skills, your experience, your education, achievements, and the type of person that you are, which I gave you guys an example before.
00:32:34.000 Right?
00:32:35.000 Now, next, okay?
00:32:38.000 This question almost always comes up on job interviews.
00:32:42.000 What's your biggest weakness?
00:32:43.000 Right?
00:32:44.000 How you answer this is, is you're gonna do something called a humble brag.
00:32:47.000 Okay?
00:32:49.000 Something that you could say is, I find it hard to say no and not take on extra duties and help others when I might be bogged down with my own responsibilities.
00:33:01.000 Or, I'm a perfectionist.
00:33:03.000 Or, I'm obsessive about getting things done in a certain way.
00:33:08.000 You know what I use?
00:33:09.000 I say, even though life is hard, work is my priority and that's my weakness.
00:33:15.000 I mean, I have priority over everything else.
00:33:17.000 Work.
00:33:18.000 Okay, he's dedicated, he's focused, he's gonna be here in the long haul.
00:33:21.000 And here's the other thing too.
00:33:23.000 Interviewers aren't stupid.
00:33:24.000 They know that you're probably gonna say that.
00:33:26.000 So you better have a fucking story to back up that goddamn claim, motherfuckers.
00:33:30.000 That is key!
00:33:31.000 Don't fucking sit there as a lazy piece of shit and say, oh yeah, my biggest weakness is, you know, I can't say no to people, I gotta just help them out all the time, blah blah blah.
00:33:41.000 Oh, can you give us an example of that at your last job?
00:33:43.000 And then y'all niggas gonna be like, uh...
00:33:44.000 Oh, shit!
00:33:47.000 You know what I mean?
00:33:49.000 So you better have a fucking story right then and there, ready to go, of an example where that led you astray.
00:33:55.000 For example...
00:33:57.000 I knew I had to be at court, right?
00:33:59.000 I could give y'all one off the top of my head.
00:34:01.000 I knew I had to be at court for an initial appearance one time because I had arrested an individual, but they called me saying that they need help because they had a case that they needed and they needed help with another agent to come out and interview.
00:34:11.000 I went out and interviewed and I woke up late for court.
00:34:14.000 Barely made it in time.
00:34:15.000 You know what I mean?
00:34:15.000 Because I wanted to help that bad.
00:34:17.000 And it set me up for failure where I was like half asleep in court.
00:34:20.000 So that's an example of a humble brag, because what you're doing is you're showing that you're selfless, you're willing to go help people out, but you put yourself in a precarious situation where you almost, keyword, you almost fucked up your own obligation from work.
00:34:33.000 Yeah.
00:34:33.000 But you better have a story, guys.
00:34:35.000 Guys, anytime you go ahead and give yourself, like you make a humble brag or you say something about yourself, you better have a goddamn story to back up that trait that you just said.
00:34:47.000 Because interviewers know that you're going to say certain things.
00:34:49.000 You need to have a story to show social proof.
00:34:51.000 And preferably make it be true.
00:34:52.000 Guys, lying on interviews, lying about your resume.
00:34:56.000 I know some people say, oh, bro, I've done it before.
00:34:59.000 I got the job, blah, blah, blah.
00:35:00.000 It's just not a good way to get things done.
00:35:02.000 And then, heaven forbid, they find out.
00:35:04.000 Oh, Lord, bro.
00:35:07.000 Because...
00:35:10.000 When it comes to the job itself, if you can't match up to your actual standards that you set for yourself, look at you like, bro, what are you doing here, man?
00:35:17.000 And as a result, you may get fired.
00:35:19.000 So honestly speaking, guys, coming to the truth, and look, obviously you don't want to show your bad side, that's going to be bad as well, but if it's going to be truthful and honest and directly what you're about, the company's statements, at least have a good story that actually matches that, because if it doesn't match, it's going to be an L,
00:35:34.000 so.
00:35:34.000 Yeah.
00:35:34.000 So, guys, make sure that you always have a social proof story, preferably from your prior job experience, that shows that you walk it like you talk it.
00:35:45.000 Next.
00:35:48.000 We got here.
00:35:50.000 Why should they hire you?
00:35:51.000 It's a question that they ask.
00:35:53.000 So, it's funny because this question here is a true question.
00:35:58.000 Because it's simple, but at the same time, they want to see, okay, how are they going to answer this?
00:36:04.000 And most people will say, of course, oh, because I'm the best at what I do.
00:36:08.000 Typical answers everyone says.
00:36:10.000 However, how should you answer this question in a smart way?
00:36:13.000 It's very simple, guys.
00:36:15.000 Most people think they're the best at everything that they do, think they're the shit.
00:36:19.000 However, you can say this is going to show ambition, hardware, and dedication.
00:36:25.000 I want to stay late nights, early mornings, put in the work, and coachable.
00:36:31.000 Because most people are not coachable.
00:36:33.000 They come into this job or they come into this interview saying, yes, I'm that guy.
00:36:38.000 I can get things done.
00:36:39.000 But are they coachable?
00:36:40.000 No.
00:36:41.000 No.
00:36:41.000 Are they willing to stay late?
00:36:43.000 No.
00:36:44.000 Are they willing to put in the hours?
00:36:45.000 And as well, God forbid they have overtime.
00:36:45.000 No.
00:36:47.000 Can you do overtime as well?
00:36:48.000 So having the dedication and focus to say, you know what, I can put in the work long after hours and actually be there and show that as a result is huge.
00:36:55.000 But again, make sure you understand that, hey, you're dedicated, you can put in the work, you're willing to stay late and early mornings.
00:37:02.000 And if you're really smart, like let's say you research the company, you research the position, etc.
00:37:07.000 You go in there with a fucking 90-day action plan of what you plan to do.
00:37:10.000 That right there, guys!
00:37:12.000 That will set you apart from everybody else.
00:37:15.000 You go in there with a plan.
00:37:16.000 It could be 90 days, 30 days, 60 days, whatever it may be.
00:37:19.000 Hey, I noticed that you guys are down in this, or I did my research and I found out blah, blah, blah.
00:37:23.000 I can fill this void and make this happen for y'all.
00:37:26.000 Or my skill set will allow me to alleviate this situation for you guys.
00:37:30.000 So, again, every job and every position is different, but your job is to show I'm the fucking glove and I fit perfectly here.
00:37:37.000 Yep.
00:37:37.000 Alright?
00:37:37.000 And I've identified weak points that you guys have where I can come in and fix it.
00:37:42.000 And not only that, you come in with a printed 30-day plan of what you intend to do?
00:37:46.000 Bruh!
00:37:47.000 Like, you think anybody else that you're competing with has done that type of homework and that type of studying to figure out how they're going to blend with the company or the agency or whoever else they're going to work for?
00:37:56.000 Hell no.
00:37:57.000 If you didn't do step two and three, which is research, plan, and see what they're actually about for the mission statement, how can you plan 90-day structure?
00:38:05.000 So all these steps have to be done in order.
00:38:05.000 You can't.
00:38:08.000 Yeah, you have to do everything, guys.
00:38:08.000 Yeah.
00:38:09.000 You have to research the company appropriately.
00:38:11.000 You have to research the position appropriately, etc.
00:38:13.000 But, bro, you guys do that, you put yourself head and shoulders above the competition.
00:38:18.000 That is free game, bro.
00:38:19.000 That's gem free game.
00:38:20.000 What the fuck, bro?
00:38:21.000 Yeah.
00:38:21.000 That's huge.
00:38:22.000 Yeah.
00:38:23.000 And here's the other thing too, just so y'all know, just to let you guys fucking know how goddamn we give a fuck about y'all.
00:38:29.000 I got my resume here.
00:38:31.000 This resume, guys, got me hired by the FBI when I was an HSI special agent.
00:38:35.000 This resume I'm going to pull up for y'all here in a little bit, okay?
00:38:37.000 And when I went there to the interview, they asked me, what are you going to do, you know, etc.
00:38:44.000 And I told them straight up.
00:38:46.000 Well, this is my experience.
00:38:47.000 This is what I've done.
00:38:49.000 I understand that the FBI is very interested in, you know, doing Title III intercepts, right?
00:38:53.000 Doing large, complex investigations, OCDF cases, etc.
00:38:56.000 I've already done them.
00:38:58.000 Matter of fact, I'm investigating one right now, and I talked about that case to a degree.
00:39:02.000 And I'll tell them that I'd be able to...
00:39:02.000 Right?
00:39:07.000 Because since I've been able to do wiretaps with HSI, we don't have as much funding as the FBI, I'd be doing wiretaps all the time because I would have the resources and the backing to do it.
00:39:15.000 And that would obviously be big because anytime you're doing wiretaps, etc., that's a big deal.
00:39:20.000 Right?
00:39:21.000 It shows that you're running a complex investigation, etc.
00:39:24.000 So I was able to bring...
00:39:28.000 What I did over at HSI and show I was able to do this with less resource.
00:39:33.000 If I came over to y'all, I'm going to bring y'all stats up.
00:39:35.000 I'm going to be able to go ahead and make the agency that much better.
00:39:40.000 But notice, right?
00:39:41.000 There's a common theme here.
00:39:42.000 Preparation.
00:39:43.000 Most people, they prepare for the club, they pregame, they dress up, put on cologne, get lit, buy the latest drip, to go party.
00:39:51.000 But a job interview, what do you do?
00:39:54.000 Show up late, put a dress, sorry, you put your wear together, last minute, you put maybe a raggedy shirt, maybe some jeans, maybe some like, luckily if you have some dress shoes, but it's all last minute planning.
00:40:07.000 Versus this interview that we're talking about today, guys, where you come into it prepared, you come in with the knowledge from the company, What you're about, what you've done.
00:40:16.000 And notice Myron said experience.
00:40:17.000 Employers want to experience, man.
00:40:19.000 Listen, degrees are fine.
00:40:20.000 You know, you get your four-year degree.
00:40:22.000 It's cool.
00:40:23.000 But employees want to experience, man.
00:40:25.000 And most people don't have experience at all.
00:40:26.000 They got a degree.
00:40:27.000 Oh, yeah, I'm the shit.
00:40:28.000 Four years in college.
00:40:29.000 Four years in school.
00:40:31.000 I know what I'm talking about.
00:40:32.000 Bro, you don't know shit, man.
00:40:34.000 Experience goes a long way.
00:40:35.000 So...
00:40:36.000 To add to this as well, like Myron said, let's say you have an employer, right?
00:40:40.000 You're in the interview.
00:40:41.000 They want to know, okay, what are your qualifications?
00:40:44.000 Come up with a project.
00:40:46.000 In the tech world, this is huge because most people in tech, they work on site projects themselves, for example, Microsoft projects, for example, React projects, where they actually have a project on their own that they're working on.
00:40:57.000 Hey, employer, just so you know, I'm working on an app here that can do these things.
00:41:02.000 And it's like, wow, if you're on a project, that's huge.
00:41:04.000 So having the actual work itself to show you're doing on your own is a big aid to experience itself.
00:41:11.000 Oh, you can show them the app to show them your skill set and how you built it.
00:41:13.000 There you go.
00:41:14.000 You know, again, that's the tech world.
00:41:15.000 That's a little bit more of a nuanced thing, but that might help you out as well.
00:41:18.000 With that, another thing too, guys, with having that action plan that I mentioned, that's critical for a lot of you guys that want to negotiate higher salaries at your interview.
00:41:27.000 If you use your technique, your prior job.
00:41:29.000 What'd you do for them to help excel their company?
00:41:32.000 Some people do spreadsheets to help manage different components of the company.
00:41:35.000 I saved them XYZ dollars.
00:41:37.000 Exactly.
00:41:38.000 I was able to eliminate this unnecessary expenditure.
00:41:41.000 All these things go towards you having experience towards that job.
00:41:45.000 It's simple.
00:41:47.000 You brought your own resume.
00:41:49.000 Yo, this guy's crazy, man.
00:41:50.000 I'm not gonna lie.
00:41:52.000 My resume, too?
00:41:53.000 Yo, no offense, bro.
00:41:55.000 You don't see all my information.
00:41:56.000 You can see his, though.
00:41:57.000 It's fine.
00:41:58.000 I'll, again, painfully transparent with you guys, because I really do care.
00:42:04.000 When they ask if you have any questions, right, guys?
00:42:07.000 So at the end of the interview, they're going to ask if you have any questions, etc.
00:42:10.000 A good question that you can ask after is, well, I told you guys what I bring to the table.
00:42:15.000 Are there any other ways that I can help and bring my expertise that I might have missed?
00:42:19.000 That shows that you genuinely care.
00:42:21.000 You're trying to ensure that there's no missing blind spots or whatever it may be.
00:42:28.000 They're trying to be an asset.
00:42:31.000 Hypothetically, if I were to be hired, what team would you guys put me on?
00:42:35.000 What is that like?
00:42:36.000 What are the duties for that specific group or whatever it may be?
00:42:39.000 And then you can kind of go ahead and talk with them.
00:42:41.000 Obviously, this is a feeler type question.
00:42:43.000 You ask something like that depending on the nature of the interview, how it's going.
00:42:47.000 Right?
00:42:48.000 But these are things that can show that, like, you're genuinely interested in coming in and creating impact immediately.
00:42:53.000 You're not trying to just go there and work and get a job.
00:42:56.000 Because what I want you guys to do is when you go to this job interview, I don't want you guys to go in there thinking, I want to collect a paycheck.
00:43:03.000 No.
00:43:03.000 You need to go in there, I need to add value, and by me adding value, I earn a paycheck.
00:43:09.000 One more time for you.
00:43:12.000 You're not going there to just get a job and get a paycheck.
00:43:17.000 You're going there to add value to a company to earn a fucking paycheck.
00:43:22.000 You need to go in with that mindset of how can you become an asset?
00:43:26.000 How can I be a tool?
00:43:27.000 That is how men are evaluated, guys.
00:43:29.000 I hate to say it like that, but if you're going to talk about, you know, Kevin Samuels talking about this, you know, recipes to him.
00:43:34.000 High value men, right?
00:43:36.000 Guys that have status, guys that are successful, etc.
00:43:38.000 The reason why they're successful is because they're useful.
00:43:42.000 We're not women.
00:43:44.000 We don't get the benefit of being able to be useless and still be loved and cared for.
00:43:48.000 As a man, you must be useful.
00:43:51.000 You must be resourceful.
00:43:52.000 You must be an asset.
00:43:54.000 If you're not an asset, they don't give a fuck about you.
00:43:57.000 So your job is literally to expend all of your skill sets to be used to make the company or agency or whoever you're applying for Better with your skill set.
00:44:10.000 You're coming in to earn a paycheck by adding value back.
00:44:14.000 And when you come in with that mindset into the interview of, how can I help y'all become better?
00:44:19.000 That's a way different frame than motherfuckers going in there saying, I'm here for a paycheck.
00:44:23.000 Because you best believe a lot of niggas are going to go there to get a fucking paycheck.
00:44:27.000 But you go in there.
00:44:27.000 See how we're building on the fucking cake, guys?
00:44:29.000 You go in there and dress well.
00:44:30.000 Your punctuality is good.
00:44:32.000 You smell good.
00:44:32.000 Your facial hair is trimmed.
00:44:34.000 You fucking mean business.
00:44:35.000 You're well-rested.
00:44:36.000 You've already been chopping it up with the people there.
00:44:37.000 You're showing that you're personable.
00:44:38.000 You're not a fucking autistic retard.
00:44:40.000 Okay?
00:44:41.000 Um...
00:44:42.000 You're confident.
00:44:42.000 You shake hands.
00:44:43.000 You stand up when you speak.
00:44:44.000 You speak in an affirmative voice.
00:44:46.000 You speak in an active voice.
00:44:47.000 You're confident of yourself, but you're not cocky, right?
00:44:50.000 You're coming in with extra resumes.
00:44:52.000 You're prepared.
00:44:52.000 You research the fucking company.
00:44:54.000 You understand what the position is.
00:44:55.000 You understand what the duties are, but you want to go ahead and continue to make sure that you're catching all the blind spots, and you're going to be an asset for this company, and if they hire you, you are by far the best fucking candidate that they have.
00:45:07.000 You're coming in with a fucking action plan.
00:45:10.000 Where, hey, I looked at some of your guys' numbers, blah, blah, blah.
00:45:12.000 I see some of your weak points.
00:45:14.000 This is where I can help.
00:45:15.000 At my last job, this is what I did, and I helped them save money, or I helped them cut costs in this regard.
00:45:22.000 Bro, do you guys understand?
00:45:23.000 When you come in from that mindset of how can I add value, that's a completely different frame of I'm here to collect a paycheck, and you're going to smack the shit out of all your other competition that are there to pick up a paycheck.
00:45:35.000 Actually, to add to your point as well, so when you come in to give rather than receive, that's 100% a W. But what I do with this question is, I flip it.
00:45:44.000 So I say all the time with this question, after I answer it, I say, listen, you've seen my skills, my skill set, what I'm about, how I want to help the company.
00:45:52.000 A question for you as an employer.
00:45:54.000 How is it going to benefit me and my career moving forward?
00:45:57.000 So for example, if this is the question...
00:46:00.000 I'm asking the employer, hey, listen, this is great.
00:46:03.000 I'm here to help, of course.
00:46:05.000 I'm here to be an asset to the company.
00:46:06.000 But in return, how's it going to help me move forward as an employee?
00:46:10.000 For example, my career, my education.
00:46:13.000 And it's funny because that puts the question on them and they have to answer it to you in that sense.
00:46:18.000 And honestly speaking, guys, most people in interviews never ask questions.
00:46:21.000 They just take questions to themselves.
00:46:23.000 But in the interview segment itself...
00:46:26.000 Whoever's asking the question is in power.
00:46:28.000 So give them a question back, too.
00:46:29.000 Ask questions about the job itself.
00:46:31.000 How does it benefit you?
00:46:32.000 Because, guys, it's a partnership.
00:46:34.000 When you're getting hired from an employer, it has to align with their values and goals as well.
00:46:39.000 But yours, too.
00:46:40.000 I mean, obviously speaking, guys, you need to work for a paycheck.
00:46:42.000 But at the same time, like mine said, make it go further.
00:46:45.000 It can help you with your career, with your experience for another job, with your degree, whatever it may be.
00:46:51.000 Ask questions for yourself to the employer as well.
00:46:53.000 That way it's not redundant and not boring as well.
00:46:55.000 Because guys, interviews, man, are very redundant for the most part.
00:46:58.000 But you come in, you add value, ask questions as well.
00:47:01.000 It's interaction rather than just like a regular interview.
00:47:04.000 So that goes a long way.
00:47:05.000 Cool.
00:47:06.000 Alright.
00:47:08.000 And we have some more chats here.
00:47:08.000 Um...
00:47:10.000 And don't be name-dropping in there, guys.
00:47:10.000 And then the last points.
00:47:12.000 That's another thing.
00:47:13.000 Don't be in there name-dropping if you know someone that works at the company or something like that.
00:47:16.000 If it's brought up by an employer or whatever, or if you subtly mention it, but don't be there.
00:47:20.000 Such and such a boss of this place.
00:47:20.000 Yeah, I know.
00:47:21.000 No, don't do that.
00:47:23.000 You don't want to try to show that you're like, hey, you better hire me because I know X, Y, Z, man.
00:47:28.000 I mean, usually they have a section that says recommended by or, for example, who you know.
00:47:34.000 So you can just say it there, but don't say it in person unless they ask you.
00:47:37.000 Yeah.
00:47:38.000 What else?
00:47:39.000 And then we got one last thing here, and then we'll pull up my resume.
00:47:42.000 Chats?
00:47:43.000 Yep.
00:47:44.000 Okay, let's do it, man.
00:47:46.000 Austin C goes, thanks for all the encouragement, guys.
00:47:48.000 Interview coming up for a position as a power lineman.
00:47:51.000 Time to double my income, sell your video games.
00:47:53.000 Oh, no.
00:47:54.000 We got that one from before.
00:47:57.000 We got here...
00:47:58.000 Bend over.
00:48:01.000 Hello FNF. Long time fan of the show.
00:48:03.000 Really enjoy the content.
00:48:04.000 Grab Tiki Taki on After Hours episode.
00:48:07.000 You'll have a fire episode.
00:48:08.000 He's only in...
00:48:13.000 Bob says, I'm 22 years old, working two remote software engineering jobs, bringing in around $260,000 annually.
00:48:19.000 I'm self-taught with no degree.
00:48:20.000 I have a free time to get a third job.
00:48:22.000 Should I? If the answer is yes, I'll be sacrificing time with my parents, old age.
00:48:26.000 That's a personal decision, man, that only you can make.
00:48:29.000 It's up to you.
00:48:31.000 Hi guys, I truly appreciate y'all.
00:48:34.000 I always get the job when I get interviewed.
00:48:37.000 My main problem is getting interviewed in the first place.
00:48:39.000 Can you make an episode about tweaking resumes?
00:48:40.000 I also have a finance degree.
00:48:41.000 Okay, I'll show you guys my resume here in a bit.
00:48:43.000 We have examples of good and bad ones as well.
00:48:45.000 We have my ones as well to kind of compound that.
00:49:00.000 I kind of hate when people say by 30, by 40.
00:49:05.000 There's no time limit to success.
00:49:07.000 I think that path or that mindset keeps you kind of depressed because if you don't reach it by 30, you're kind of depressed at that point.
00:49:13.000 Versus, hey, you know what?
00:49:15.000 I'm going to work as long as possible.
00:49:17.000 To get my goals no matter what age it is.
00:49:18.000 So I just say the time limit itself for age is kind of like, puts you in a box.
00:49:22.000 But again, that's just my opinion on it.
00:49:24.000 Invest in real estate, my friend.
00:49:26.000 But at the same time, understand that slow and steady wins the race.
00:49:31.000 You're a man, bro.
00:49:32.000 You're not like a female where you need to live your life in your 20s and even your 30s, man.
00:49:37.000 Life gets better for you as a man if you do the work, bro.
00:49:40.000 Enjoy your career.
00:49:42.000 Work hard.
00:49:43.000 Save your money.
00:49:43.000 Invest in real estate.
00:49:44.000 Don't do nigger shit.
00:49:45.000 Definitely don't.
00:49:46.000 Because one of the biggest mistakes guys do once they become a six-figure earner is they start living like they make a million dollars a year.
00:49:51.000 Yeah.
00:49:51.000 A lot of people that live paycheck to paycheck are actually six-figure earners.
00:49:55.000 They're trapped.
00:49:56.000 Yeah, because what ends up happening is they're able to get a taste of luxury, but they can't afford it sustained.
00:50:03.000 So what ends up happening is they're constantly trying to keep up with the Joneses.
00:50:06.000 They're getting the 5 Series BMW. They're getting the nice house because they can get it, but can they maintain it at a comfortable level?
00:50:13.000 A lot of the times, no, and it drags them into debt.
00:50:15.000 So don't be one of these six-figure guys that you make your first 100, make your first 120, 130, but you're spending money like you're a multimillionaire.
00:50:23.000 A lot of y'all spend more money than me and you guys make 100k a year?
00:50:25.000 Like, bro, no.
00:50:26.000 Don't fucking go out here and buy a fucking BMW 6 Series and, you know, a coupe and get a nice ass house and be in downtown of a major city.
00:50:35.000 All this shit with all these expenses just because you're making 100k a year.
00:50:38.000 No, you should be saving that money so you can make more money.
00:50:41.000 So, anyway.
00:50:42.000 But yeah, man.
00:50:43.000 You don't want to be keeping up with the Joneses, man.
00:50:44.000 And that's higher earners.
00:50:46.000 100K, 200K, 300K per year.
00:50:47.000 You guys always fall for it because you guys get a taste of that luxury and you get addicted to it.
00:50:52.000 And you stay in the middle class.
00:50:54.000 You stay in the middle class.
00:50:54.000 It's pretty much like dying now, by the way.
00:50:56.000 Yeah.
00:50:57.000 What else do we got here?
00:51:00.000 We got Strong Nerd?
00:51:02.000 Use bright white paper to print your resume.
00:51:02.000 Yep.
00:51:04.000 Depending on the job or company, bring a PowerPoint.
00:51:06.000 I gave a presentation for my government contractor position and for my promotion in the military.
00:51:10.000 Also practice speaking in front of the mirror.
00:51:12.000 Great topic, guys.
00:51:13.000 Yeah, most places are not going to have you do a PowerPoint presentation.
00:51:17.000 But in his situation, he's a contractor.
00:51:19.000 More than likely what happened was he was already hired and then it was time for contract renewal.
00:51:24.000 So he just presented a PowerPoint of how they can continue to add value.
00:51:27.000 Okay.
00:51:28.000 So that's how a lot of government contractors go.
00:51:30.000 But that's fine.
00:51:31.000 I mean, nothing wrong with having a PowerPoint as well.
00:51:33.000 How to save my best buddy, who's 26, going out with a 33-year-old woman who never married, no children, has two dogs.
00:51:42.000 It's like he's in a spell.
00:51:44.000 He brought up the age gap and she was shit-talking him and raging, saying, why are guys disgusting and superficial?
00:51:50.000 Of course she's going to say that, bro.
00:51:51.000 Of course she's going to say that, bro.
00:51:53.000 Typical defense of age.
00:51:54.000 Typical female defense, yeah, once they hit the wall.
00:51:57.000 I mean, dude, again, your friends that you want to save, we understand it 100%.
00:52:00.000 We want to do the same thing.
00:52:02.000 However, people want to get help when they want to be helped.
00:52:05.000 So as a result...
00:52:07.000 He might have to get burned by this woman to actually understand.
00:52:10.000 And if you tell him as a friend, yo, bro, you're being by whatever, oh, you're a hater, bro.
00:52:14.000 So it's kind of like, let him be burned and be there for them when they get burned, pretty much.
00:52:18.000 Yeah.
00:52:19.000 Yeah.
00:52:20.000 A lot of guys are stupid, bro.
00:52:21.000 They're not going to take this information in unless they get burned.
00:52:24.000 Yeah.
00:52:25.000 It's part of the process.
00:52:26.000 Unfortunately.
00:52:38.000 Yeah bro, that is literally you going outside, getting experience with talking to people.
00:52:43.000 Actually, here's a test you can do, right?
00:52:45.000 He's 16.
00:52:45.000 Bro, join clubs at your school.
00:52:47.000 Yo.
00:52:47.000 Get a sport or hobby, I was about to say, right?
00:52:50.000 So it's late-minute individuals you're not afraid to talk to, and you get to learn people's skills because, again, most people, they stay inside on a computer playing games.
00:52:59.000 That's all they do.
00:52:59.000 Or they just go to work and then back home.
00:53:01.000 But...
00:53:02.000 Extra activities, for example, sports, hobbies, extra communities like Key Club, Toastmasters, you gain experience, many people, and people's skills.
00:53:10.000 Not only that, men tend to bond over creating things together or a shared mission.
00:53:17.000 Let's say you have an interest.
00:53:19.000 I don't give a fuck if you like playing Magic the Gathering cards.
00:53:21.000 Go to a Magic the Gathering meetup and meet people there that have similar interests with you.
00:53:25.000 That's one of the best ways to bond with other men.
00:53:27.000 Pause.
00:53:27.000 Is through a shared activity and or a shared mission.
00:53:31.000 Whatever your interests or hobbies are, Find a club that does it, go there, make friends.
00:53:37.000 I would say, though...
00:53:38.000 And you gotta bite the bullet and understand that it's gonna be very uncomfortable to meet new people, but fuck it.
00:53:42.000 It is what it is, man.
00:53:44.000 Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
00:53:46.000 That's life.
00:53:47.000 In a social media age, Call of Duty with mics is not socializing, bro.
00:53:52.000 That is not socializing at all.
00:53:53.000 It's actually lazy.
00:53:55.000 And getting out there in person, shaking hands, kissing babies, that's how you do it, bro.
00:54:00.000 Pause.
00:54:02.000 Alright.
00:54:03.000 What else we got here?
00:54:04.000 Is this a Mexican gym?
00:54:07.000 Yeah.
00:54:07.000 Thanks to the DBZ stream, it brought back memories of me and my cousin watching DBZ, WMWMO, WBills, WICW Fresh, even though he was there for 10 minutes.
00:54:16.000 Much love to the whole FNF crew.
00:54:17.000 Yeah, I came in late night before my flight, and I dashed out of here.
00:54:20.000 Because they didn't want me on the stream, so I left.
00:54:23.000 Oh, you mean one of the niggas?
00:54:24.000 Yeah, he used that shit as an excuse.
00:54:26.000 Hey, man, he want me here, bro.
00:54:27.000 First, get out of here.
00:54:27.000 First said, okay, I'm out.
00:54:30.000 Mara Bion on X is amazing.
00:54:31.000 You are that nigga.
00:54:31.000 I appreciate it, Wizards.
00:54:33.000 Yeah, guys, please follow me on X, aka Twitter.
00:54:36.000 It's UnplugFitX.
00:54:38.000 I'm tweeting on there every day, posting videos on there.
00:54:41.000 Get way more active.
00:54:41.000 Y'all are going to see me.
00:54:42.000 The goal is to get to 100K followers on there and grow that X account.
00:54:47.000 And I talk about sort of topics that I might not necessarily talk about on here.
00:54:51.000 Okay, Swagballer goes, can you tell me how important you think passion is finding a job?
00:54:55.000 I'm in a combat role in the U.S. military for six years.
00:54:57.000 I'm doing PT cert for passion and getting degree in IT, which isn't passion, but for money.
00:55:03.000 This is a good question, bro.
00:55:04.000 I mean, I'll be honest with y'all.
00:55:05.000 There's going to be times where you're doing jobs that you're not necessarily passionate about, but it pays the bills.
00:55:09.000 And there's nothing wrong with that.
00:55:10.000 That's where you have to ensure that if you are doing a job that you don't necessarily like that much, but it pays the bills, make sure you have a hobby or an interest that you do on the side.
00:55:20.000 I would say, man, like...
00:55:21.000 Or funnel that money from the job that you don't like into a business endeavor that you do like that you can potentially grow, scale, and be able to walk away from your regular job from.
00:55:31.000 People still have a dream of using passion as your main way to make money, but in real life, that's not possible for everybody, bro.
00:55:37.000 And as a result, you need to make money for your family, for yourself.
00:55:41.000 So that's a priority, bro.
00:55:42.000 Making money.
00:55:43.000 Here's the other thing too, man.
00:55:44.000 You know, we say women are delusional or whatever, right?
00:55:46.000 Like they're in a fairytale world or whatever.
00:55:49.000 Men are too.
00:55:50.000 Yo, a lot of y'all niggas are fucking delusion too.
00:55:52.000 Men are too, man.
00:55:53.000 Bro, I'll keep it a thousand with you guys.
00:55:55.000 A lot of you guys haven't earned the privilege of being able to do something you love and work on your passion.
00:56:03.000 I'll say that again for y'all.
00:56:06.000 It's the truth.
00:56:07.000 A lot of you guys haven't earned the privilege of being able to do something that you love and you're passionate about.
00:56:14.000 A lot of the times, you gotta do shit you fucking hate, right?
00:56:18.000 To build up the capital, to build up the character, to build up the skill set, to build up the resume, to build up the traits.
00:56:25.000 That will put you in a position to be a more attractive employee and or individual to be able to do what you're actually passionate about.
00:56:33.000 You gotta get it out the mud a lot of times, guys.
00:56:35.000 Again, this is why I tell y'all all the time, don't fall for this entrepreneur porn and this bullshit on Instagram and TikTok where people are, I make this much money, blah, blah, blah.
00:56:44.000 Bro, a lot of it is fucking cap, okay?
00:56:46.000 A lot of it is fucking cap.
00:56:50.000 We're one of the few influencers here that tell you guys there's nothing wrong with having a job.
00:56:53.000 There's nothing wrong with getting that earned income from a job that you might not necessarily like and funneling that money into something that you're a bit more passionate about that you can go ahead and build down the road.
00:57:01.000 But the point is there's going to definitely be times where you're doing a job that you don't like to create a future that you will like.
00:57:08.000 I mean, we can see it nowadays, bro.
00:57:10.000 Field rappers, artists, I want to say, music industry plants, it's kind of like, they want to have that hobby and passion as their main thing, but bro, you got to pay your bills, man.
00:57:20.000 And I mean, look at Jay-Z. He sold stuff, like obviously drugs, before he got into his career, but I funded his career.
00:57:26.000 You got to come in with some money, bro.
00:57:28.000 You can't come in wishing, oh, you know what?
00:57:29.000 I'm going to just magically have my career, compassion, be successful.
00:57:33.000 Nigga, who's funding that shit?
00:57:35.000 Yeah.
00:57:36.000 And here's the thing.
00:57:37.000 If you don't have the funds to properly fund your passion, you ain't going nowhere.
00:57:41.000 Exactly.
00:57:41.000 You ain't going nowhere.
00:57:42.000 Could you imagine I said, yo, you know, I'm just going to start this podcast from scratch.
00:57:45.000 We start off with Blue Yeti mics, shitty ass cameras, shitty production quality.
00:57:49.000 We would have never got noticed.
00:57:51.000 But, luckily, I had a job, right?
00:57:53.000 We had jobs where we were able to invest that money into the studio, started off right, with some higher level of production quality, where people wanted to tune in in the first place, but had we not had that ability to invest into the studio from the rip, it would have been fucked and not taken off.
00:58:08.000 And people forget, the skills we learned from our prior experiences, jobs, and careers helped us now, five years later.
00:58:14.000 Yeah.
00:58:15.000 So...
00:58:16.000 Myron Updates.
00:58:18.000 Follow Myron on Twitter, UnpluggedFedEx.
00:58:20.000 Yo, shout out to you, bro.
00:58:20.000 He's running another Twitter.
00:58:22.000 Oh, for real?
00:58:23.000 For me, yeah.
00:58:24.000 Shout out to Myron updates.
00:58:25.000 He does the Zerk updates, too.
00:58:28.000 166k left on a 205k mortgage.
00:58:30.000 Townhouse looks to be worth 330k to 360k.
00:58:33.000 Would you recommend using a HELOC to pay off the credit cards off that are collecting a lot of interest?
00:58:37.000 That way you are only paying off one thing.
00:58:39.000 I am not a fan of taking a HELOC and using it to pay off any other debt besides real estate shit, man.
00:58:46.000 Yeah, bro.
00:58:46.000 If you're at a point now where you might have to do a HELOC to pay off credit card debt, you fucked up, my friend.
00:58:52.000 Try to find another way, dude.
00:58:54.000 Because remember, you got to pay that HELOC back anyway.
00:58:59.000 I get it, because the interest rate from the HELOC is probably going to be less than the credit cards.
00:59:03.000 But still.
00:59:04.000 But, bro, if you're going to do that, lesson learned.
00:59:06.000 Never do that shit again.
00:59:08.000 Guys, we tell you guys to use credit cards.
00:59:10.000 For money that you have.
00:59:12.000 You know, the goal of credit cards is to use a credit card to buy shit with money that you actually really do have in your bank account so that you can get your credit score up and get free shit.
00:59:21.000 And then you pay it off immediately and don't pay them any interest.
00:59:23.000 It's money you're going to spend anyway, not extra.
00:59:25.000 So that's the key, man, that you only spend on credit cards what you actually would have spent regularly if you had had cash.
00:59:32.000 The purpose of using credit cards is for convenience and building up your credit score with money that you already have.
00:59:38.000 I mean, just pay the debt off, man.
00:59:39.000 I mean, it's so simple.
00:59:41.000 But here's the thing.
00:59:42.000 He's got to do a HELOC now to do it.
00:59:43.000 Yeah.
00:59:45.000 To get to that point, man.
00:59:46.000 Do it, bro.
00:59:47.000 But, man, I wish I could see you in person so I could smack the fucking shit out of you for doing that.
00:59:51.000 Like, bro, when I hear shit like that, it fucking gets me angry.
00:59:53.000 Because it's like, you made bad decisions, man.
00:59:56.000 You fucked up.
00:59:57.000 Like, you shouldn't be taking a HELOC to pay off fucking consumer debt.
01:00:01.000 The fuck are you doing?
01:00:02.000 Well, at least he's starting now.
01:00:03.000 Yeah.
01:00:04.000 I mean, look.
01:00:06.000 Pay off the credit card debt because I already know that interest rate is probably 30% I don't even want to fucking know, right?
01:00:10.000 Your credit score is probably taking a hit.
01:00:12.000 Take the HELOC, pay it off, and you better fucking pay that HELOC back off and never, ever, ever fucking spend more than you make ever again with credit cards.
01:00:19.000 Then on top of that, I don't want nobody ever taking on cash out refinances or HELOCs or anything like that to pay off consumer debt.
01:00:26.000 You get HELOCs and cash out refinances to buy another asset.
01:00:30.000 Yeah.
01:00:31.000 I think people forget too, especially Americans, that having money in the bank is one thing.
01:00:35.000 If you have a lot of debt yourself, it's negative.
01:00:39.000 So, really, you have no money at all.
01:00:41.000 But again, that's stupid.
01:00:41.000 Guys, don't be stupid.
01:00:43.000 Don't be like a fucking female spending money like a fucking slave-minded consumer buying shit that you don't need or shit that you can't afford.
01:00:52.000 Fuck that shit, man.
01:00:53.000 You can get by on little.
01:00:53.000 You're a man.
01:00:55.000 Okay?
01:00:55.000 Yeah.
01:00:56.000 Damn.
01:00:58.000 The more you know, the better, I guess.
01:01:00.000 Yeah, man.
01:01:00.000 Like, bro, I don't want these credit card companies raping you guys, man.
01:01:03.000 Because I know them niggas are charging you.
01:01:03.000 Like, goddamn, bro.
01:01:06.000 28% plus easily.
01:01:08.000 And you gotta get a HELOC so you got the debt, they're probably destroying you right now.
01:01:13.000 What they don't tell you is it's a variable interest rate.
01:01:15.000 Translation.
01:01:16.000 As the date gets worse and worse, we've reserved the right to increase the interest rate higher on you, nigga.
01:01:20.000 Before you know it, you're paying double or triple.
01:01:22.000 Yeah.
01:01:23.000 And the minimum payment, you'll never pay it off with the minimum payment.
01:01:26.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:01:27.000 Alright.
01:01:27.000 Now you're a real slave at that point.
01:01:28.000 Very slave.
01:01:29.000 Big Boston CEO Network.
01:01:30.000 Let's go have a great night.
01:01:31.000 Cody, man.
01:01:32.000 Yo, he was a trooper in Columbia, man.
01:01:34.000 I compare him to like David Goggins and you.
01:01:36.000 He's like a mixture of both.
01:01:37.000 He's a little bit taller than you, but he's definitely that guy.
01:01:40.000 David Goggins and you mixed together.
01:01:41.000 Shout out Cody, man.
01:01:42.000 Awesome guy.
01:01:43.000 Alright, shout out to him.
01:01:45.000 Hey FNF, will you be making a follow-up episode on this?
01:01:48.000 Maybe on how to move up in the workplace and deal with politics in that environment?
01:01:52.000 I could do that all day, bro.
01:01:54.000 The biggest thing corporate is being able to actually maneuver in the marketplace without hurting people's feelings, but at the same time, having the skill and knowledge to move forward with people's, I want to say, agendas.
01:02:06.000 How'd you navigate a woke-ass place, bro?
01:02:07.000 At least in law enforcement, it was all men, mostly, so I didn't have to deal with...
01:02:11.000 The pussiness as much, but you have a lot of female counterparts and a little bit of a character because most people say, oh, I'm RP. I'm aware.
01:02:20.000 Everyone should know about it.
01:02:21.000 No, my friend.
01:02:22.000 No one should know about it.
01:02:23.000 Actually speaking, the more they know about you, that you're into this mindset, the worst for you, bro.
01:02:28.000 In corporate America, bro, holy, it's the opposite.
01:02:31.000 So you, my friend, have to be very careful what you say and how you share with your friends because their friends will tell HR about your ass instantly.
01:02:37.000 You stupid.
01:02:38.000 And get your ass fired.
01:02:40.000 Especially in tech.
01:02:41.000 Bro, I can't tell you how much I have to, like, grab my teeth, like, ah!
01:02:45.000 Women's International Day?
01:02:47.000 I don't give a fuck about women, like that.
01:02:47.000 Yeah.
01:02:48.000 I'm just kidding.
01:02:49.000 But, like, but, like, obviously sticking...
01:02:51.000 Niggas complaining about their girl being a whore and shit, you're just like...
01:02:52.000 I have to wear a t-shirt that says, uh, Women's International Day, I love women.
01:02:57.000 Mind you, I do love women.
01:02:59.000 I don't want to put on a t-shirt, bro.
01:03:00.000 That's a freaking game.
01:03:00.000 I remember that shit.
01:03:01.000 Yeah.
01:03:01.000 But again, I'm corporate America.
01:03:04.000 I play the part.
01:03:05.000 I gotta act like a cure.
01:03:06.000 But eventually, Robbins is, once you get a little bit higher in a company, and you follow certain agendas, you kind of maneuver in a certain way, you can kind of squeeze out of some things.
01:03:17.000 But not everything.
01:03:19.000 How dare you?
01:03:20.000 It's not easy, bro.
01:03:21.000 Yo.
01:03:21.000 Okay.
01:03:22.000 But see, that in itself is a skill because people can't do it, bro.
01:03:25.000 To humble yourself to that level where you can actually go through some of these things, it's a lot of pride that you have to take away and ego.
01:03:32.000 So you know what?
01:03:33.000 I'll do this bullshit for now to move forward in this company.
01:03:36.000 Pretty much.
01:03:37.000 That's all you're saying, basically.
01:03:39.000 Oh, Lord.
01:03:39.000 All right.
01:03:40.000 What else do we got here?
01:03:41.000 Ball Out goes black men edition, cornrows, waves, a low cut, high fade, the best hair to look very presentable.
01:03:51.000 Any of you get into wind turbines tomorrow, no experience or training needed.
01:03:55.000 You will start around 100k a year.
01:03:56.000 They will pay for literally everything.
01:03:57.000 You've got to be in decent shape and not be afraid of heights.
01:03:59.000 Just talk about how safe you are.
01:04:01.000 Most important, how you focus on quality and tell them that you still manage to do production without faulting on your safety, number one.
01:04:06.000 Or two, quality.
01:04:07.000 I make 170k last year using the money to start my crime scene cleanup company.
01:04:11.000 Wow.
01:04:12.000 Alright.
01:04:12.000 Shout out to you, bro.
01:04:14.000 Would you rather be falsely accused of grape, go to trial for nine months, or will you be proven completely innocent, or have a baby with a girl but find out nine months later after it's born that it's not yours?
01:04:25.000 I'm not gonna lie.
01:04:26.000 Number two.
01:04:27.000 Number two all day.
01:04:29.000 Having that in the atmosphere and the news that you're a grape is, bro, is a L. No, I'll take number one.
01:04:35.000 That's 18 years.
01:04:37.000 Nine months versus 18 years.
01:04:39.000 Huh?
01:04:40.000 No, it's nine months out there.
01:04:41.000 No, no.
01:04:42.000 You know, it's not yours.
01:04:43.000 Oh.
01:04:44.000 In nine months.
01:04:45.000 Oh, shit.
01:04:46.000 You're gone.
01:04:47.000 Oh, shit.
01:04:48.000 So, I'll say number two, bro.
01:04:49.000 All day.
01:04:50.000 Why is this nigga asking this question?
01:04:51.000 In a predicament.
01:04:53.000 Nigga, why are you asking that, bro?
01:04:56.000 Before we were talking about how to get a job, this nigga talking about, would you rather be falsely accused?
01:05:00.000 Like, bro.
01:05:01.000 Random.
01:05:01.000 Mateo, you already know.
01:05:02.000 Appreciate that, Mateo.
01:05:05.000 And that T-T-B podcast.
01:05:07.000 Hey guys, so I have a good resume and built up a lot of certifications and wrote four books about cybersecurity.
01:05:11.000 I've been applying like crazy, no luck, but I did land an IT service desk for Commercial Bank.
01:05:16.000 Take that job, bro.
01:05:17.000 Having a job and going to a job interview is way better than not having a job.
01:05:20.000 See, this part with Americans especially, they have their nose up their ass.
01:05:26.000 They think, you know what, I have a degree, I have certifications, I have the, I want to say, presumed skills, so I should not work a lower job than what I think I should work.
01:05:36.000 And as a result, Mexicans, immigrants, even myself, We've got jobs that are not, I want to say, the most appeasing, but we understand getting money right now, having experience in a job that's similar to what you're doing, bro, is huge.
01:05:51.000 And even though it may be, he's at front desk?
01:05:54.000 Yeah.
01:05:55.000 That by itself, you can kind of maneuver and cater towards and curate towards cybersecurity.
01:06:01.000 So hopping tickets and stuff.
01:06:02.000 Just being in that job, when you go play for another job, you go to interview, hey, what do you do right now?
01:06:08.000 I'll have a job in this company.
01:06:10.000 That's way more favorable, bro, than being unemployed, bro.
01:06:12.000 Versus, I have no job?
01:06:13.000 I need a job?
01:06:14.000 Bro.
01:06:14.000 Yeah, you come in with a little bit more of an abundance mindset and you're less thirsty, too.
01:06:18.000 Same shit with bitches, man.
01:06:19.000 Yeah.
01:06:20.000 So, yeah, bro.
01:06:21.000 Take a job even if it's not what you want to do.
01:06:22.000 Even if it's beneath you.
01:06:23.000 Especially if it's in your career path.
01:06:25.000 Use it to your advantage.
01:06:26.000 Learn the skills and then, hey, apply for another job.
01:06:27.000 Yeah.
01:06:28.000 You're way better off having a job and going.
01:06:30.000 And that might be, the reason why you might not be getting called back is because you don't have a job.
01:06:33.000 So take that fucking job and then reapply to all those jobs and keep the track.
01:06:38.000 And if you're smart, look on LinkedIn, people that are in the company that you want to go to, look at their skill set, look at what they put as their task to do, curate that to your current job and make it make sense.
01:06:51.000 So when you go to interview, wow, you're actually following our pattern of what most people do at a job for your other job.
01:06:56.000 This is great.
01:06:57.000 Yeah.
01:06:59.000 All right.
01:07:01.000 We have another one.
01:07:03.000 Delboy1.
01:07:03.000 How do I show value to a business who may reflect on questions back to an interviewer that they can't improve?
01:07:08.000 I don't understand a question.
01:07:10.000 Yeah, I don't get it either.
01:07:11.000 All right.
01:07:12.000 So we're going to go ahead and count down.
01:07:13.000 Recap, guys.
01:07:14.000 The show real fast.
01:07:18.000 Okay, so guys, alright, number one, okay, is wear a suit, clean shaven, minimize facial, and or minimize facial hair, right?
01:07:27.000 Conceal any tattoos, don't go in there looking like a degenerate, shower, don't smell bad, right?
01:07:31.000 Clean suit, fitted, nice.
01:07:34.000 No face tattoos, bro.
01:07:35.000 Yeah, man.
01:07:35.000 That's the L, bro.
01:07:37.000 Come on, guys.
01:07:38.000 The whole tattoo thing is like, nah, man.
01:07:40.000 Like, don't get tattoos.
01:07:41.000 If you're gonna get tattoos, make sure you have them in areas where if you wear a suit, they're not visible.
01:07:45.000 Okay, guys?
01:07:45.000 Yeah, bro.
01:07:46.000 Um...
01:07:48.000 Research the company and their position you're applying for.
01:07:50.000 Bring a copy of a resume for yourself and for the employer.
01:07:53.000 Always match up your strengths with the duties of the job.
01:07:55.000 Arrive to the job interview 20-30 minutes ahead of time.
01:07:58.000 Be polite to everyone at the venue.
01:08:02.000 When you introduce yourself, use the C method.
01:08:04.000 You know, introduce yourself, your skills, your experience, education, achievements, and the type of person you are.
01:08:10.000 When they ask you what is your biggest weakness, humble brag it, say something along the lines of, I find it hard to say no to helping people or taking on other responsibilities, something like that, or I'm a perfectionist, etc.
01:08:19.000 And you better have a goddamn story to back it up, okay?
01:08:23.000 When they ask you if they should hire you, have, you know, A 30-day, 60-day, 90-day plan where you are going to outline how you can actually help and add value to the company that you're going to be working for.
01:08:37.000 Very important.
01:08:37.000 And it'll help you if you want to negotiate for higher salaries as well.
01:08:40.000 Okay?
01:08:41.000 When they ask you if you have any questions, this is your point to, you know, show that you're inquisitive.
01:08:46.000 And, you know, remember, things might come up on an interview where you might actually have some real questions.
01:08:49.000 But what you can say is, hey...
01:08:51.000 What else can I do to help you guys out?
01:08:54.000 When you enter the interview, guys, enter the interview from the frame of, I'm not here to get a paycheck and just get a job.
01:08:59.000 I'm here to add value to this company.
01:09:01.000 I'm here to be an asset.
01:09:02.000 I'm here to be a valuable tool.
01:09:04.000 And then, after you're done, guys, send...
01:09:08.000 A follow-up email, right?
01:09:10.000 And say, hey, if you guys need anything else from me, you know, say something along the lines of this.
01:09:14.000 Thank you for the opportunity.
01:09:15.000 I enjoyed the process and learning more about the position.
01:09:18.000 I'll be an asset.
01:09:18.000 And if you need anything else from me, please don't hesitate to contact me and you leave your email and your phone number so that you can go ahead and if they need to reach you again.
01:09:27.000 And obviously you're being polite that they gave you the opportunity in the first place.
01:09:30.000 So send that follow-up email after your interview.
01:09:32.000 All right, guys?
01:09:35.000 So we covered 10 steps.
01:09:37.000 Yep.
01:09:37.000 You can follow.
01:09:38.000 So do we want to show them a bad resume?
01:09:40.000 Yes.
01:09:40.000 An example of a bad resume?
01:09:41.000 There's three emails once we have here.
01:09:42.000 Before we do this.
01:09:43.000 Or yours.
01:09:43.000 Before we do this, what are the likes at, man?
01:09:46.000 Because we're giving you guys crazy goddamn value, man.

01:09:57.000 These are the shows, man.
01:09:58.000 They'll change your life, man.
01:09:59.000 We got like 7,000 y'all in here watching live.
01:10:01.000 You got a job making money.
01:10:03.000 You can support your family and yourself.
01:10:04.000 That's huge, bro.
01:10:05.000 Bro, y'all better like the goddamn video, man.
01:10:07.000 We need at least 2,000 likes on fucking YouTube, or else we're not showing no goddamn resumes.
01:10:12.000 Oh, shit.
01:10:13.000 Yeah, man.
01:10:13.000 Because, yo, you guys have been really cheap with the goddamn likes.
01:10:17.000 Damn.
01:10:18.000 We give you guys all this value.
01:10:19.000 He ain't playing, man.
01:10:20.000 Prepare this stuff for y'all.
01:10:22.000 What other YouTubers are giving you guys the diversified level of value that we're giving you guys?
01:10:28.000 And we show you our personal information as well.
01:10:30.000 That's true!
01:10:31.000 You do, bro.
01:10:34.000 I'm not doing that shit.
01:10:35.000 Hey, man.
01:10:36.000 Shout out to Myron, bro.
01:10:37.000 Myron games in the building, bro.
01:10:38.000 Myron giving them the drop.
01:10:39.000 Yeah, the drop.
01:10:40.000 The sauce.
01:10:41.000 Oh, God.
01:10:42.000 This game is to be sold, not told.
01:10:43.000 You know what I mean?
01:10:44.000 But, yeah.
01:10:46.000 So, we got right now 1.3k likes.
01:10:50.000 Come on, guys.
01:10:51.000 2k at least, man.
01:10:53.000 We got right now, let's see, updated version.
01:10:56.000 We have currently 1.5.
01:11:00.000 I see 1.5.
01:11:01.000 Okay, it's going up.
01:11:02.000 It's going up.
01:11:04.000 But yeah, honestly guys, man, follow these 10 steps.
01:11:07.000 I'm telling you right now, most people coming to this interview game or, for example, getting a job, it's like fun and it's playful.
01:11:14.000 This is serious, guys.
01:11:14.000 This is your career.
01:11:15.000 This is your future.
01:11:16.000 This is your actual, like, future itself.
01:11:18.000 Come to it prepared.
01:11:19.000 And the main focus, guys, is understanding that, yes...
01:11:22.000 You're coming in with confidence.
01:11:23.000 You're coming in to get a job.
01:11:24.000 But do you align with their values and their goals?
01:11:27.000 And like Martin said, come in experience, man.
01:11:29.000 Come in there having a prior story or a prior project you're working on.
01:11:34.000 You can show an employer.
01:11:35.000 You're serious.
01:11:36.000 You're about it.
01:11:37.000 And as well, Ask questions.
01:11:39.000 Don't sit there and receive questions.
01:11:41.000 Ask about questions for yourself.
01:11:43.000 This is going to benefit me and my career and my education.
01:11:46.000 You know, to work with you guys.
01:11:48.000 Is it going to help me move forward in my career?
01:11:50.000 All these things help towards creating that relationship with the employer.
01:11:53.000 And as well, keep in mind, people don't prepare for these things.
01:11:57.000 That's why they fail.
01:11:58.000 If you prepare, you won't fail.
01:11:59.000 And as a result, you get the job.
01:12:01.000 Or, you know, it's funny.
01:12:02.000 Some companies, right, may not hire you on the spot.
01:12:05.000 But they'll never forget I interviewed with you.
01:12:07.000 And they might hit you back later on.
01:12:08.000 They might hit you back, yeah.
01:12:09.000 You know what?
01:12:09.000 Hey, we did a revamp for our current selection.
01:12:12.000 Are you still interested in this job?
01:12:14.000 You've been surprised, man.
01:12:15.000 Happens all the time.
01:12:16.000 I came in clean shaven.
01:12:17.000 Actually, Mike.
01:12:18.000 I came in clean shaven right before my first day here.
01:12:22.000 Yeah.
01:12:23.000 With FNF. I came in clean shaven.
01:12:25.000 I made sure I was prepared for any question that Myron had for me.
01:12:29.000 And I had to make sure, yo, whatever expertise I said to you.
01:12:32.000 And I was completely honest.
01:12:35.000 So, if there was something, I didn't make sure I didn't lie about it.
01:12:38.000 I mean, you did fuck up though, bro.
01:12:41.000 Of course.
01:12:41.000 Give me an overweight.
01:12:43.000 It's fine though.
01:12:44.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:12:44.000 You're working on it.
01:12:45.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:12:46.000 Absolutely.
01:12:47.000 You're working on it.
01:12:48.000 No excuses.
01:12:49.000 No excuses.
01:12:49.000 But yeah, man.
01:12:50.000 This is going to help you guys a lot with your career.
01:12:52.000 Alright.
01:12:53.000 How many likes we got now?
01:12:55.000 I don't know.
01:12:55.000 Let's see.
01:12:56.000 What are we at, guys?
01:12:57.000 Get the likes up.
01:12:57.000 1.6.
01:12:58.000 That's it, bro?
01:13:00.000 Damn, bro.
01:13:01.000 They don't want it, man.
01:13:02.000 They don't want the sauce.
01:13:03.000 Yeah, I guess they don't want it, man.
01:13:04.000 Alright, well, end the show?
01:13:05.000 I guess so.
01:13:06.000 Listen, guys, this is simple, man.
01:13:08.000 Come in, like the video, get the sauce.
01:13:12.000 It's simple.
01:13:12.000 It's free.
01:13:13.000 It's really free, bro.
01:13:14.000 We can charge niggas for this in a course like niggas do.
01:13:17.000 Oh, learn about credit.
01:13:18.000 Learn about success.
01:13:20.000 Bro, this is for free, man.
01:13:22.000 This is all free, man.
01:13:23.000 Off the dome, by the way.
01:13:24.000 Yeah, facts.
01:13:25.000 This is in us, not out of us.
01:13:28.000 Yeah, just trying to impart this wisdom to you guys so that you guys can go ahead and succeed in corporate America, government America, whatever it may be.
01:13:36.000 Hell...
01:13:36.000 This stuff can be used anywhere.
01:13:37.000 If you're in Australia, UK, honestly, anywhere.
01:13:40.000 You want to prepare for a job?
01:13:41.000 If you take those steps that we just gave you guys, you're going to be head and shoulders above most of the other people that interview.
01:13:46.000 Guys, you know what I'm using on networking, right?
01:13:48.000 This right here is elementary to networking.
01:13:51.000 It's getting an interview with somebody, not coming across as cocky, arrogant, But at the same time, giving value to receive value in a short period of time.
01:14:01.000 And I think for most people, guys, like, if you can understand this concept of interviews, it goes a long way throughout your career itself.
01:14:07.000 So, I mean, this is elementary, but it's still a good foundation.
01:14:11.000 Okay.
01:14:12.000 We'll hit the chat.
01:14:13.000 Hybrid muscle goes, my bro is married to a...
01:14:17.000 Okay.
01:14:17.000 They've been together for 10 years now, and she has taken him from the family.
01:14:20.000 She hasn't brainwashed.
01:14:21.000 Can I save him?
01:14:22.000 We caught her cheating, and he knew it was wrong, but stayed and believed her lies.
01:14:26.000 What to do?
01:14:27.000 Oh, man.
01:14:32.000 Yo.
01:14:34.000 I love when me and Myron do this.
01:14:36.000 Damn, man.
01:14:37.000 Bro, that's the hell, man.
01:14:39.000 Listen, bro.
01:14:40.000 I mean, again, people that want help will get help.
01:14:43.000 If they don't want help, bro, can't really change that, bro.
01:14:45.000 Yeah, I mean, bro, if she cheated on him, and he's still there, then I get brainwashed.
01:14:51.000 Yeah, man, like, you really can't, like, even if you hit him with a Falcon Punch!
01:14:57.000 He ain't gonna wake up, man.
01:14:58.000 Yo, that sound load is crazy, bro.
01:14:59.000 That sound bite is crazy.
01:15:01.000 Falcon Punch!
01:15:02.000 That's one of the memories, bro.
01:15:03.000 Smash Brothers.
01:15:04.000 So, yeah, man.
01:15:05.000 Anyway, they didn't hit the like button?
01:15:07.000 Alright, I guess we'll close it out.
01:15:08.000 I guess y'all are not going to see the resume that got me hired by the bureau.
01:15:11.000 1.8, bro.
01:15:12.000 We need 200 more of y'all, bro.
01:15:13.000 Bro, this is simple, man.
01:15:15.000 You're going to see his actual resume, which I said he shouldn't show it, but hey, if you want to show it, bro, I mean, that's on him.
01:15:21.000 Yeah.
01:15:21.000 All the Rumble Ninjas, all you got to do is open up another tab on YouTube and just like it.
01:15:25.000 Because again, guys, as y'all know, we're fucking demonetized.
01:15:28.000 So we're doing this shit basically for free, man.
01:15:30.000 1.9K. Yep.
01:15:32.000 100 more.
01:15:33.000 100 more, man.
01:15:34.000 Simple.
01:15:36.000 But, um, we got here, Jcross says, like the motherfucking video, Rumble on YouTube.
01:15:40.000 Facts, man.
01:15:41.000 It's simple, bro.
01:15:42.000 I don't know why, like, bro, niggas just don't like liking the videos, man.
01:15:46.000 Dude, and this episode right here?
01:15:47.000 They just want to like, no, I'm not liking it.
01:15:49.000 Fuck these niggas.
01:15:50.000 Dude, this is better than after I was, honestly speaking, bro.
01:15:52.000 We got a lot of hate watchers.
01:15:53.000 A lot of y'all have been preach fans on the low.
01:15:54.000 We do.
01:15:55.000 Okay.
01:15:56.000 SauceGodFPS says, was listening while working, pulled up my phone to like this video, and got fired for being on my phone.
01:16:01.000 Thanks, Myron.
01:16:02.000 Come on, bro.
01:16:03.000 Stop lying, bro.
01:16:04.000 Stop lying, bro.
01:16:05.000 That's cap, man.
01:16:05.000 That's cap, man.
01:16:06.000 Really?
01:16:07.000 Stop the cap.
01:16:08.000 Jake Ross again says, the lack of life to get benefits.
01:16:11.000 Getting a job shows how much people don't care about jobs.
01:16:11.000 It looks like.
01:16:14.000 Why can't that generation, man?
01:16:15.000 Yeah, bro.
01:16:16.000 Not only that, yo, we only got, what?
01:16:18.000 How many watch?
01:16:19.000 We got...
01:16:20.000 Not even 3K on YouTube watching.
01:16:22.000 And we got on Rumble, 4,000.
01:16:25.000 So we got about 7,000 of y'all in here.
01:16:27.000 But I'll tell you guys this.
01:16:28.000 If we're doing some nonsense content, y'all would be like, yeah, woo!
01:16:32.000 It'd be like, you know, everyone would be in here, man.
01:16:33.000 Like tonight.
01:16:34.000 Yeah, man.
01:16:35.000 So it's just crazy, bro.
01:16:36.000 Like how it's like...
01:16:38.000 It's okay.
01:16:39.000 We're going to keep giving the value even if less people watch.
01:16:42.000 These are the shows that men are the boys.
01:16:44.000 And I think for most people, you can have, for example, the looks.
01:16:48.000 You can have...
01:16:49.000 Maybe something's the money.
01:16:51.000 Maybe something's the clout.
01:16:52.000 But the foundation isn't there.
01:16:53.000 Our goal is really to help you guys, bro.
01:16:55.000 We understand that...
01:16:57.000 Bringing on the chicks, you're going to get the views and shit like that, sure.
01:17:01.000 But our goal is to take a share of that and convert you guys into better, noble, more attractive, able-bodied, competent, and wealthy men.
01:17:12.000 I'll tell you this.
01:17:13.000 I was in Columbia earlier this weekend.
01:17:16.000 I met a bunch of people over there, expats from America, especially in Miami as well.
01:17:21.000 And they're getting girls, man.
01:17:23.000 The wrong pretense.
01:17:24.000 And as a result, this whole foundation is shaky, brother.
01:17:27.000 Very shaky.
01:17:28.000 Yep.
01:17:29.000 So it's...
01:17:29.000 Right here.
01:17:30.000 304s, man.
01:17:31.000 Wow.
01:17:32.000 Big 304s.
01:17:33.000 Crazy.
01:17:33.000 Uh...
01:17:35.000 Moe, why you cabin, bro?
01:17:36.000 What you shaving?
01:17:37.000 You got peach fuzz under that chin.
01:17:38.000 Aloha, allah, brother.
01:17:39.000 That's from Aurelian Views.
01:17:40.000 All right.
01:17:41.000 So let's go ahead and just show them the bad resume first and we can show them a good one?
01:17:44.000 All right.
01:17:44.000 So guys, we got some examples here of bad resumes.
01:17:48.000 And you may say this is common sense, but unfortunately, guys, today, common sense is not coming anymore.
01:17:53.000 So pull up, if you don't mind, Bills.
01:17:55.000 Got you right now.
01:17:57.000 Someone says, Fresh Really Loves Colombia.
01:17:58.000 Eh, not as much, bro.
01:18:00.000 I think things have changed a lot.
01:18:02.000 Okay, Christopher, go on in.
01:18:03.000 This is his profile here.
01:18:04.000 Oh no, this is the actual good ones.
01:18:06.000 It showed the bad ones.
01:18:07.000 Should be the first link, the very top left.
01:18:10.000 Here we go!
01:18:11.000 So this is a website called...
01:18:13.000 I can't read the font there.
01:18:14.000 Anyhow.
01:18:15.000 So these are some examples of bad resumes.
01:18:17.000 First one, guys.
01:18:18.000 Resume.io.
01:18:19.000 There you go.
01:18:20.000 It's bad spellers.
01:18:22.000 Guys, we live in a technology-based economy, right?
01:18:26.000 It's Grammarly.
01:18:27.000 There's spellchecks.
01:18:29.000 Microsoft Word.
01:18:30.000 Bro, if you're going to interview with a resume with bad spelling, nigga!
01:18:36.000 What the fuck are you doing, bro?
01:18:37.000 Because what's going to happen is...
01:18:39.000 Hold on.
01:18:41.000 This nigga was in my office.
01:18:42.000 I can't spell?
01:18:44.000 Bro, rumble out of here.
01:18:45.000 The fact is, guys, it's like...
01:18:47.000 What the fuck?
01:18:47.000 Most people...
01:18:47.000 I'm just saying, bro.
01:18:49.000 Most people, right, understand spelling is important.
01:18:53.000 But to come to an interview with bad spelling, bro, what are you doing, my friend?
01:18:56.000 Anyhow, so guys, you see our work history server, and there's a bunch of errors here in this actual spelling, which is horrendous, guys.
01:19:05.000 And again...
01:19:06.000 Bad spelling and grammar are one of the quickest ways to get your resume thrown away.
01:19:14.000 So let's say you send a resume to a company They off-rip say, you know what?
01:19:18.000 This person can't even spell.
01:19:20.000 Don't show up to the interview, man.
01:19:21.000 You're out of here.
01:19:23.000 Disqualified from the very rip.
01:19:24.000 So guys, this is one thing that can get you disqualified.
01:19:27.000 Off-rip.
01:19:28.000 So some of you guys now have bad spelling.
01:19:31.000 You're like, wait, why don't I get a call back?
01:19:33.000 Why don't I get a chance to get an interview?
01:19:34.000 Bro, you can't even spell, nigga.
01:19:37.000 What the fuck?
01:19:38.000 Okay, number two.
01:19:41.000 Amateur graphic designer.
01:19:43.000 Guys, you guys know Chris from the podcast, right?
01:19:45.000 Our producer Chris.
01:19:46.000 Where is he?
01:19:47.000 He's on the way.
01:19:49.000 Chris actually is a good graphic designer.
01:19:52.000 He worked on OfferUp.
01:19:53.000 Sorry, not OfferUp.
01:19:55.000 What's it called?
01:19:56.000 Upwork and Fiverr, right?
01:19:58.000 He was a five-star rated designer.
01:20:03.000 However, most of you are working for companies, and they want to see your work, but not on a resume, right?
01:20:10.000 So more often than not, putting an image on your actual resume, whether it's for graphic design or a different type of career, is going to say tacky and not professional.
01:20:23.000 And as a result, it'll turn people off.
01:20:26.000 So you can see here, Hamdugo, it's a random ass name, puts on the left-hand side there some coins and some arrows going up.
01:20:33.000 Bro, anybody would tell you, as an employer, you put a photo like this on a resume, bro, dog, I'm looking at you like, nigga, are you serious?
01:20:44.000 This is not a friggin' contest.
01:20:47.000 This is an actual professional segment.
01:20:49.000 So I mean, listen guys, number two, Red flag here is do not, I repeat, do not put fancy colors sometimes or images on your resume.
01:21:00.000 A simple red or black or white is perfect, but anything other than that, bro, is kind of horrendous.
01:21:05.000 So, number three, the non-achiever.
01:21:09.000 Again, guys, companies are looking for experienced people to employ at their job.
01:21:17.000 Unfortunately, some of you guys have no experience.
01:21:19.000 As a result, it shows.
01:21:21.000 Guys, I'm not going to tell you to lie or to finesse or facilitate things you didn't do.
01:21:26.000 But I'll tell you this.
01:21:27.000 People that get jobs have experience.
01:21:31.000 And you might have a degree.
01:21:32.000 You might have a master's or a PhD.
01:21:35.000 But guys, I know people that have a master's working at pet shops.
01:21:39.000 We're kind of freaking gas stations.
01:21:40.000 The point is, without experience, you're worthless.
01:21:43.000 Because they can train you, of course, but they want to train and experience people.
01:21:47.000 So, who has somebody here?
01:21:48.000 Christina Jacobs.
01:21:49.000 Of course, she is a woman.
01:21:50.000 No offense to her.
01:21:51.000 But, experience.
01:21:53.000 Misogony.
01:21:54.000 Customer service, two places, right?
01:21:56.000 But she's applying for an experienced customer service position as a manager.
01:21:59.000 Guys, this is crazy because, ultimately speaking, it's not bad, but it's not a lot of experience.
01:22:05.000 And...
01:22:06.000 Her actual tasks itself don't resonate if in a manager position.
01:22:10.000 So, guys, again, understand your agenda here with the company.
01:22:16.000 Do your values and goals align that actually match the skill requirements.
01:22:20.000 And as well, make sure you have experience to show you can back it up and actually be an asset to the company on all liability.
01:22:26.000 All right?
01:22:27.000 These are three bad examples here you can see.
01:22:30.000 And then down below it says as well some more points.
01:22:33.000 Good experience is bullets.
01:22:36.000 And bad experience is some other points here.
01:22:39.000 And then we could do some more for bad examples, but we'll stop here.
01:22:43.000 Of course, font is actually another one as well.
01:22:45.000 Guys, font It's key.
01:22:47.000 If you're doing friggin' random, like, small font types, bro, they can't even read that shit.
01:22:52.000 Like, if they can't read it, how do you even see what you're about?
01:22:55.000 So, having actual good font that's readable, large font goes a long way.
01:23:00.000 Alright.
01:23:01.000 So now we're going to show good examples of resumes you can see as well.
01:23:05.000 This is why I make a quick touch-up on mine real fast.
01:23:07.000 Cool.
01:23:07.000 Do you mind reading the chats?
01:23:08.000 Yeah.
01:23:09.000 So we're going to show good ones here, and then we'll show Myers as well.
01:23:13.000 All right?
01:23:13.000 So, Pills, could you?
01:23:14.000 Yeah, I got you.
01:23:15.000 One second.
01:23:16.000 Oh, hold on.
01:23:18.000 They can't see.
01:23:19.000 You want to do the chats first?
01:23:20.000 Chats first?
01:23:21.000 Yeah.
01:23:21.000 Chats first?
01:23:22.000 Yeah, hit the chat.
01:23:22.000 Okay, cool.
01:23:23.000 Some more chats and then we'll get into it as well.
01:23:27.000 BigBossJasso says, a little off topic, but if I want to start a YouTube channel using you guys' content, is there anything specific I need to do to vote copyright strikes?
01:23:35.000 Think in advance.
01:23:36.000 No, but keep in mind, Rumble is our sponsor, and they're pretty much managing us at this point.
01:23:42.000 So clear with us first, because you might get, I want to say, copyrighted a little bit, so that may come into play.
01:23:49.000 But hit us up, maybe Mo or somebody on Instagram behind the scenes.
01:23:55.000 What's we got here?
01:23:56.000 Another one from Castle Club.
01:24:01.000 He said, what's good, FNF crew?
01:24:05.000 Do we put our social media on private to prevent future employers from looking?
01:24:10.000 What can we say on the screen?
01:24:12.000 Because they're working on something right now.
01:24:14.000 Okay.
01:24:15.000 No, in my resume.
01:24:16.000 I was just editing one more thing.
01:24:19.000 I got rid of the government databases that I know how to use.
01:24:23.000 Yeah, you're brave, man.
01:24:25.000 I had to get rid of that real quick.
01:24:28.000 What's the question?
01:24:30.000 Keep bringing it up on the screen.
01:24:31.000 You want to put it?
01:24:32.000 Which one was it?
01:24:34.000 It was Castle Club.
01:24:36.000 Yeah.
01:24:36.000 Oh, Castle Club.
01:24:37.000 I'll put it up.
01:24:37.000 I got it.
01:24:39.000 Got it right now.
01:24:40.000 Alright.
01:24:41.000 But yeah, I mean, honestly, man, this is important because, again, resumes, man, if you don't have a correct spelling, for example, bad font, pictures on your stuff.
01:24:51.000 Oh, look at this walk-in Chris.
01:24:53.000 There you go.
01:24:53.000 Welcome, Chris.
01:24:55.000 Cool.
01:24:58.000 Anything else?
01:24:58.000 You want to pull up my joint?
01:24:59.000 Close this thing out?
01:25:00.000 Be good.
01:25:02.000 LEI goes, what's good FNF crew?
01:25:04.000 Do we put our social media on private to prevent future employers from looking?
01:25:07.000 Good question, actually.
01:25:08.000 Yo.
01:25:10.000 Yeah.
01:25:10.000 Yo.
01:25:11.000 Private all your social media shit.
01:25:12.000 And if you got anything crazy, get rid of it, bro.
01:25:14.000 You know what's crazy too?
01:25:15.000 I think some new crazy number came out like 80 or 90% of employers now scrub your social media.
01:25:20.000 We know it's also vital as well.
01:25:22.000 Let's say you get a job at a company, right?
01:25:23.000 And you become cool with some of the employees there.
01:25:25.000 They follow you on Instagram and they link it to HR, you're fucked too.
01:25:29.000 So you gotta be careful who you add on your social media.
01:25:31.000 Period, bro.
01:25:31.000 Yeah, bro.
01:25:33.000 They don't play, man.
01:25:34.000 Yo, party and get drunk?
01:25:35.000 That's bad.
01:25:36.000 So here we go, guys.
01:25:37.000 100% transparency.
01:25:38.000 Here is my resume that I use, guys, that got me hired by the Bureau.
01:25:43.000 I ended up not going through with it all the way, but this is my resume, guys.
01:25:46.000 Right there, I'm doxing myself.
01:25:49.000 Can we go ahead and control plus it real quick?
01:25:51.000 Do you have a middle name?
01:25:53.000 Yeah.
01:25:54.000 What is it?
01:25:58.000 Is it like Anthony or something?
01:26:00.000 So let's go through it real fast.
01:26:04.000 So you got section, right?
01:26:05.000 Go all the way to the top.
01:26:06.000 Guys, this is a federal type resume, right?
01:26:10.000 So you got your name at the top, your address, phone number, email, bam, done, right?
01:26:16.000 Then summary statement, right?
01:26:19.000 Talk about college-educated, what I used to do, etc.
01:26:21.000 Because at this point, I had been on the job for about three years with HSI, right?
01:26:27.000 And then education, professional skills, right?
01:26:29.000 Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Northeastern University.
01:26:32.000 And then employment, right?
01:26:33.000 Then I go into personal.
01:26:35.000 Okay, then I go into professional work experience, and then bam, I start listing it out, right?
01:26:39.000 So, special agent, Homeland Security investigation, Loretto, Texas, from September 2013 to present, right?
01:26:44.000 And then you put your salary, in this case, this is the government, I talked about my GS scale, job type, 50 hours per week minimum, full time, etc.
01:26:52.000 You put your supervisor's contact information there, which I blacked that out.
01:26:56.000 And then I go into all the shit that I did, right?
01:26:58.000 Had the most arrests for H.I. Laredo, which is the office, for the fiscal year of 2016, etc.
01:27:05.000 Organized crime drug enforcement task force cases, OCDF, which is a very big, you know, it's very difficult to get those, right?
01:27:13.000 Somebody said 50 words per minute.
01:27:15.000 Hey, I'm not that fast.
01:27:16.000 Well, I'm faster now, actually, as a typer, right?
01:27:19.000 And then, you know, over 50 criminal arrests made as a lead case agent.
01:27:22.000 Like, this is a really good resume, guys, from a law enforcement perspective, right?
01:27:24.000 Get high from it, man.
01:27:25.000 Right?
01:27:26.000 Scroll down.
01:27:27.000 So you guys can see all the fucking shit I did.
01:27:30.000 Right?
01:27:30.000 And this is just when I was in Laredo.
01:27:32.000 This doesn't even...
01:27:32.000 I have an updated resume of all the shit I did in Florida.
01:27:34.000 But what are you showing?
01:27:36.000 A lot of experience.
01:27:36.000 A lot of experience, bro.
01:27:37.000 Yep.
01:27:38.000 And then other work experience.
01:27:39.000 Then I go into what I did when I was an intern.
01:27:41.000 Right?
01:27:41.000 I was a human trafficking group.
01:27:43.000 Oh, Walter.
01:27:43.000 And then I was an intelligence group.
01:27:45.000 I was in a high-intensity drug trafficking group.
01:27:47.000 Right?
01:27:47.000 So, Intel...
01:27:49.000 Human trafficking.
01:27:50.000 Then I was in a drug trafficking group, right?
01:27:51.000 And I put the dates that I was in there and I talked about what some of my duties were.
01:27:54.000 I was in a national security group.
01:27:55.000 And then before that, I was even lost provincial at Macy's.
01:27:58.000 Right?
01:27:59.000 Let's make a 950 per hour.
01:28:00.000 Goddamn!
01:28:01.000 I remember that shit.
01:28:02.000 Start somewhere, bro.
01:28:03.000 Yeah.
01:28:04.000 Start somewhere.
01:28:04.000 You know, and I did that shit part-time, and then I got my education, certifications and achievements, training, right?
01:28:11.000 When I went to the academy, right?
01:28:14.000 Volunteer.
01:28:14.000 And then any accolades that I have, and then volunteer work as well, right?
01:28:17.000 So, guys, that is how you want your resume to be, where you basically have...
01:28:24.000 Now, again, this resume is a little bit longer, and if your employer wants all that stuff...
01:28:28.000 You can do it.
01:28:29.000 Normally they want...
01:28:30.000 One page.
01:28:31.000 One page.
01:28:31.000 If possible.
01:28:32.000 But, you know, granted, for the job position that I was going for, there's nothing wrong with having more.
01:28:37.000 Okay?
01:28:38.000 But again...
01:28:41.000 Your name and your address and your phone number at the top and your email so they can contact you.
01:28:45.000 It's bold.
01:28:46.000 It's right there at the top.
01:28:47.000 And then, obviously, you go into your summary statement, right?
01:28:52.000 We go to that first page.
01:28:53.000 Professional skills, education, employment, and then, bam, you start going right into your work experience.
01:28:57.000 And you start with the most recent first, guys, right?
01:28:59.000 And they like to see that.
01:29:01.000 2013 to a present, which means I'm currently still employed.
01:29:04.000 Okay?
01:29:07.000 That's huge.
01:29:07.000 So, yeah.
01:29:09.000 But yeah, guys, hope you guys enjoyed that one.
01:29:11.000 I don't know if anybody else has the balls to actually show their resume.
01:29:14.000 You know what's funny?
01:29:15.000 A lot of the YouTubers that talk shit about us, whatever, I'd love to see them bum-ass niggas put up their resume to mine.
01:29:20.000 And that was my resume from 20-fucking-16.
01:29:23.000 That's not even the shit that I did in Florida.
01:29:25.000 I have an updated resume of all the shit that I did when I was in the Miami field office, which I didn't put on here because I figured, you know what, let me just give y'all the one that I... That got me the job with the bureau.
01:29:36.000 That's huge though.
01:29:37.000 You know what I mean?
01:29:37.000 That's a dated resume, but yeah.
01:29:39.000 So, that one works.
01:29:40.000 It worked.
01:29:40.000 So, yeah.
01:29:42.000 We're out here in these streets for real, guys.
01:29:44.000 Literally.
01:29:45.000 So, fuck the haters.
01:29:46.000 Hybrid Muscle Project goes to add to my last comment.
01:29:48.000 I tried to opening his eyes and he went back and took her everything.
01:29:52.000 Told her everything I said.
01:29:54.000 Now, he downgraded me in his life and he doesn't come see me and the parents much anymore.
01:29:59.000 Is there any way to save him any mention of her name?
01:30:01.000 And he's mad.
01:30:01.000 Bro, his actions just described what it is.
01:30:05.000 You trying to help the situation actually made him angry, and he added to telling his wife about you, or his girl.
01:30:11.000 That's crazy, bro.
01:30:12.000 Yeah, because he knows deep down that he fucked up, to be honest with you.
01:30:15.000 Wow.
01:30:16.000 So...
01:30:17.000 Hey, man, bros before hoes, bro.
01:30:18.000 Yeah, man, it is.
01:30:19.000 Well, in this case, it's hoes before bros.
01:30:22.000 Yeah.
01:30:22.000 And his bro literally chose the hoes before his bro.
01:30:24.000 Show me fresh resume.
01:30:25.000 Nigga, hell no.
01:30:28.000 Yo, by the way, if you want to say it's on LinkedIn, honestly, it's already there on LinkedIn, so it's kind of like there already.
01:30:34.000 So, on LinkedIn.com.
01:30:35.000 How'd they find you?
01:30:36.000 By your name?
01:30:37.000 Yeah, Walter Weeks.
01:30:38.000 Alright, pretty much.
01:30:39.000 Or search dark nigga.
01:30:41.000 You'll probably come Okay.
01:30:44.000 All right.
01:30:45.000 W in the stream.
01:30:46.000 Yeah.
01:30:46.000 A lot of value.
01:30:47.000 A lot of sauce, man.
01:30:48.000 Guys, again, 10 things you can follow to get yourself a job anywhere you want to get.
01:30:52.000 Again, most people don't prepare for job interviews.
01:30:56.000 As a result, they suck.
01:30:58.000 One, preparing.
01:30:59.000 And two, getting an interview itself.
01:31:02.000 Yeah.
01:31:03.000 Alright, cool.
01:31:04.000 Guys, hope you guys enjoyed that episode, man.
01:31:07.000 I think that was a lot of value there.
01:31:08.000 Time stamps are going to be up soon.
01:31:09.000 We're going to be back with some lovely ladies.
01:31:11.000 And then IRL stream with Sneeko later on.
01:31:13.000 Love you guys.
01:31:13.000 We'll be back in a bit.
01:31:14.000 Peace!
01:31:15.000 I ran, I ran so far away.
01:31:20.000 I just ran, I ran all night and day.
