00:04:02.000 And then, most importantly, keep the money, okay?
00:04:05.000 Because one of the worst things is that people are not able to preserve their resources.
00:04:14.000 And what we're going to talk about today will hopefully help you guys with that.
00:04:19.000 Go ahead and, you know, live a better life because I'm telling you guys, you know, when I worked in the professional world, I was a six-figure earner, now multi-millionaire.
00:04:28.000 Possessions are not all their correct up to me.
00:04:30.000 I promise you guys, they're not.
00:04:31.000 They're really not.
00:04:32.000 Right.
00:04:33.000 So, yeah, and again, I apologize, guys, because so, okay.
00:04:43.000 JG Cesar says, Brian, I'm leaving my current job for a better job that has more benefits and room to grow.
00:04:51.000 But I'm taking a $12K pay cut because doing it for the right reasons.
00:04:59.000 It's very simple, guys.
00:05:00.000 It's in the name.
00:05:01.000 It's not owning a lot of things.
00:05:03.000 Now, when you don't own a lot of things, what ends up happening is you, you know, this is a dating podcast.
00:05:10.000 We talk to you guys all the time about getting girls and being more attractive, et cetera.
00:05:14.000 The thing that sucks with that, if you can get by your hindbrain, right, and figure out, I was super, I need the new sixes, I need the new Jordans, I need the new true religions, I need the new Ed Hardy's, I got to be, you know, looking good.
00:05:28.000 I worked at Mason, the dip set, all that crap, right?
00:05:33.000 So I go to college, right?
00:05:39.000 Other parts of Connecticut that aren't the hood, right?
00:05:41.000 New Hampshire, Vermont.
00:05:43.000 People from California, Northeast was a private school, so attracted a lot of kids from all over the country, Florida.
00:05:49.000 And I realized all these kids came from, you know, affluent areas all over the United States, right?
00:05:56.000 And none of them wore Jordans.
00:05:59.000 None of them wore designer.
00:06:01.000 None of them wore any of this stuff.
00:06:03.000 And I kind of peeped this and I was like, what's going on here?
00:06:07.000 And I quickly learned that the only people that wear designer, the only people that wear fancy, expensive, overpriced clothing and sneakers like this are idiots, right?
00:06:18.000 People that aren't really financially astute.
00:06:22.000 And I said, you know what?
00:06:24.000 I'm not doing this anymore.
00:06:26.000 And I downsized.
00:06:27.000 I stopped buying Jordans.
00:06:28.000 I stopped buying Nike phone posits, $200 a pair.
00:06:32.000 I stopped buying True Religion jeans, Ed Hardy, polo, low cost.
00:06:36.000 I stopped buying all that.
00:06:38.000 I just living room area, very small.
00:06:42.000 Little bedroom.
00:06:43.000 And then you go in and bathrooms right there with a closet.
00:06:49.000 I bought one couch, put it there, a little TV.
00:06:54.000 I had a table, like a dining room table cost me like $97.
00:06:59.000 I'll never forget that.
00:07:01.000 I bought a mattress, put it on the floor, slept on that, and that's it.
00:07:08.000 It's all I had.
00:07:10.000 A couch, one, one table with one chair, a little TV, mattress on the bed, on the floor.
00:07:19.000 That's it, right?
00:07:22.000 So this was like my journey.
00:07:26.000 Then, after I graduated from, or after one, it saves money.
00:07:31.000 Number two, when I do decide to move out, I don't have all this stuff I got in my drag with me, right?
00:07:38.000 So I went ahead, got an apartment right here at Brickell, down the street, not too far from where I'm at right now, paid $1,700 a month.
00:07:49.000 I moved in 2018.
00:07:50.000 let's go through this timeline real quick 2007, 2008 I'm on my Flyboy thing, right?
00:08:02.000 Diplomats, Cameron, we're dressing well.
00:08:05.000 We're wearing nice stuff at Hardy Designer, all that, right?
00:08:09.000 2007 up until about 2009.
00:08:14.000 I do one year at CCSU, still hanging out with the boys in New Brunswick, Connecticut.
00:08:18.000 Fall of 2009, I started.
00:08:19.000 Later, I got Red Pull on that, ditched all the Jordans, ditched all that stuff.
00:08:22.000 Traded my true Ligin jeans for Levi's, traded my Jordans for Sperry's.
00:08:28.000 Traded my Ed Hardy's for like maybe one regular basic polo, and I just kept it go pushing with that.
00:08:34.000 Traded in my North Face for Patagonia and never looked back since.
00:08:39.000 Then, right, I graduated from college 2014.
00:08:44.000 I go to the, I, you know, I graduate the academy, et cetera.
00:08:47.000 I go in Laredo, Texas.
00:08:48.000 I get into my first apartment, don't own anything.
00:08:52.000 A couch, a table, a dining room table, cost me $100.
00:08:57.000 Couch cost me like $200, and a mattress that costs me like $300.
00:09:00.000 And I owned in it.
00:09:02.000 Some clothes, and that's it.
00:09:03.000 No furniture, no nothing.
00:09:05.000 I get here, put my deposit, pay $1,700 a month, living in an apartment that's fully furnished.
00:09:12.000 That's a hack, guys.
00:09:13.000 Huge hack.
00:09:15.000 Right?
00:09:17.000 Then after I moved out of that apartment, I didn't start procuring things, and I didn't move out that apartment until I started the FreshFit podcast.
00:09:30.000 The only reason I even own things now, right?
00:09:34.000 Whether it's this American flag behind me, the signs, all this stuff, right?
00:09:39.000 All this stuff that you guys see here, right?
00:09:43.000 But I don't care about any of it, right?
00:09:46.000 And this is where I want you guys to be.
00:09:48.000 Now, obviously, I took on my evolution to figure this out, right?
00:09:54.000 But I'm hoping I could save you guys a couple thousand or tens of thousands and buying a designer, buying the shoes and everything, realizing, like, yo, it's not worth it.
00:10:01.000 It's dumb.
00:10:02.000 You don't need that.
00:10:03.000 If anything, put that money into going to the gym, focusing on yourself, right?
00:10:08.000 Make the clothes look good on you.
00:10:10.000 You wear the clothes, the clothes don't wear you, right?
00:10:13.000 You don't need an expensive suit.
00:10:16.000 It's better to have a cheap suit, right?
00:10:20.000 That's tailored well than to have an expensive suit that's not tailored.
00:10:24.000 I'm gonna say that again for you guys.
00:10:28.000 It's more important to have a cheap suit that starts with.
00:10:35.000 I gave you guys my evolution.
00:10:36.000 So first I explained what minimalism is.
00:10:39.000 Then I gave you guys my journey of minimalism.
00:10:41.000 Now let's talk about how to actually achieve this.
00:10:44.000 Okay.
00:10:46.000 So first, I want you guys to own 200 to 300 things.
00:10:51.000 Okay.
00:10:52.000 Two to 300 things.
00:10:54.000 You need to start getting rid of things.
00:10:57.000 All right?
00:10:58.000 Two to three hundred things.
00:11:00.000 That's number one.
00:11:01.000 Number two, how are we going to get rid of these things?
00:11:05.000 If you haven't used it in the last 30 to 90 days, it's time to get rid of it, man.
00:11:15.000 Okay?
00:11:16.000 If you haven't used it in the past 30 to 90 days, get rid of it.
00:11:21.000 All right, don't buy any new clothes.
00:11:27.000 No need, all right.
00:11:30.000 All you need when it comes to clothes is this.
00:11:32.000 I'll make it very simple for you guys: one pair of black jeans, one pair of blue jeans, right?
00:11:40.000 Maybe a pair of dark jeans, dark blue.
00:11:44.000 That's it for pants and jeans.
00:11:47.000 Then a black shirt, a white shirt, maybe a jean jacket, a leather jacket, right?
00:11:55.000 One pair of checker boots, one pair of Chelsea boots, one pair of white tennis shoes.
00:12:01.000 That's it, dude.
00:12:02.000 You can mix and match those outfits with the Thailand.
00:12:05.000 All right, bro, whatever.
00:12:08.000 There's a difference between being a minimalist and then being a brokey.
00:12:10.000 You're just a brokey.
00:12:11.000 Big difference, my friend.
00:12:13.000 Big difference being a brokey versus being a minimalist.
00:12:15.000 Let me, let me be, let me actually, let me say this too, okay?
00:12:20.000 Because I'm actually glad that that guy said that.
00:12:22.000 Some of you guys are just poor and broke, and you're going to say, I'm a minimalist because that.
00:12:26.000 No, that's cope.
00:12:28.000 That's cope.
00:12:29.000 It's one thing to be a minimalist because you're choosing to be.
00:12:32.000 It's another thing to be a minimalist because you're forced to be.
00:12:34.000 Big difference.
00:12:36.000 Okay.
00:12:37.000 Big difference.
00:12:39.000 So, anyway, going back to what I was saying, excuse me.
00:12:45.000 So don't own many things, guys.
00:12:47.000 All right.
00:12:49.000 Couple shirts, five shirts, two, three pairs of jeans, two, three pairs of shoes, right?
00:12:54.000 Go there again, like a big jacket, one big jacket.
00:12:57.000 Mix and match that.
00:12:58.000 You're good.
00:12:59.000 All right.
00:12:59.000 Couple shirts.
00:13:00.000 That's it.
00:13:01.000 Nothing crazy.
00:13:02.000 Solid tease work.
00:13:04.000 Right.
00:13:07.000 And then, you know, three, four pairs of like gym shorts, workout t-shirts, one pair of sneakers to work out.
00:13:14.000 Cool.
00:13:14.000 Right.
00:13:17.000 Then, so two to three hundred things.
00:13:23.000 Limited wardrobe.
00:13:25.000 If you haven't used it in 30 to 90 days, get rid of it.
00:13:31.000 Okay.
00:13:32.000 Here's another thing.
00:13:33.000 I don't cook, guys.
00:13:35.000 I don't cook.
00:13:36.000 All right.
00:13:37.000 And the reason why I don't cook is because it's a big time waster and you have to have a bunch of stuff in the house to do it.
00:13:46.000 Pots, pans, all this stuff.
00:13:48.000 All right.
00:13:49.000 Now, I've done this before with Brandon Carter.
00:13:54.000 Figure out how much you make an hour or what you're worth an hour.
00:13:58.000 Okay.
00:13:59.000 I'll be honest.
00:14:01.000 A lot of you guys are going to figure out once you do the math that cooking for yourself is extremely burdensome, time-consuming, and you could probably use that time to make more money.
00:14:14.000 Okay.
00:14:15.000 Me and Brandon have the joke: we say cooking is for poor people.
00:14:19.000 I'll be honest with you guys, in a lot of ways, it is.
00:14:22.000 Okay?
00:14:22.000 I highly suggest you either A eat out or B, more smarter or smarter, excuse me, smarter option is to get a meal prep service.
00:14:34.000 Why?
00:14:34.000 With a meal prep service, you could pay 70, 100 bucks a week, 50 bucks a week, depending on where you live, different pricing.
00:14:43.000 You know how much calories you're getting in.
00:14:46.000 A lot of times the macros are cut out for you: protein, grams, how many grams of protein, carbs, and fats.
00:14:50.000 You're going to eat two through three of those a day.
00:14:53.000 And then focus on working.
00:14:56.000 Because cooking, when you actually do all the math, is extremely burdensome.
00:15:01.000 Okay?
00:15:02.000 You got to get pots and pans.
00:15:04.000 You got to go to the grocery store.
00:15:05.000 You got to let the food throw out.
00:15:06.000 You got to prepare the food.
00:15:08.000 You got to chop stuff up.
00:15:10.000 Get it ready.
00:15:10.000 Get seasoning.
00:15:12.000 Cook.
00:15:13.000 Clean.
00:15:14.000 Put stuff away.
00:15:16.000 Right?
00:15:16.000 Some people like to, you know, cook all their stuff on a Sunday, get all their meal stuff prepped for Sunday.
00:15:21.000 You can do that too if you want.
00:15:23.000 But honestly speaking, right, you guys should all be working to outsourcing cooking immediately.
00:15:31.000 That's one of the first things you want to outsource.
00:15:34.000 Okay?
00:15:35.000 One of the first things you want to outsource.
00:15:40.000 Because I'm telling you guys, when you do the math and you, you know, calculate how long it takes you to go to the grocery store, pick up the groceries, prepare the groceries, actually cook, then sit down, eat, clean up after yourself, everything, bro, it is extremely time consuming.
00:15:56.000 Extremely.
00:15:58.000 Extremely.
00:16:01.000 Nobody I know that's successful cooks their own food.
00:16:03.000 Unless they're like, even guys that are like top-tier chefs, they don't even cook for themselves.
00:16:09.000 Okay?
00:16:11.000 You got a girlfriend or something that's different.
00:16:14.000 But I highly suggest that you guys outsource cooking right away.
00:16:18.000 And I'll tell you, another reason why you want to outsource it is because the pots and pans and everything else, less on your mind.
00:16:26.000 Guys, the purpose of being a minimalist is so that you don't have to worry about stuff.
00:16:29.000 You focus on stuff that matters.
00:16:31.000 Making more money, your business, doing your job, working more hours.
00:16:35.000 That's what you care about.
00:16:37.000 You want to put all your effort and resources into things that make you money.
00:16:40.000 Okay?
00:16:41.000 Not take away mental clarity and bog you down.
00:16:45.000 Okay?
00:16:46.000 So cooking is a silent time killer.
00:16:49.000 Now, I understand some of you guys in the chat.
00:16:52.000 Some of you guys are Emeral Lagasse.
00:16:53.000 You guys want to cook and you guys want to be able to, hey, bam, you know what I mean?
00:16:57.000 You guys think you're Bobby Flay, whatever.
00:16:59.000 Fine.
00:16:59.000 You enjoy cooking.
00:17:00.000 It's a hobby.
00:17:01.000 Do it in a manner where it's not as destructive.
00:17:04.000 You're cooking on a Sunday, the whole day.
00:17:08.000 You're getting the food already out for the week.
00:17:10.000 I can tolerate that.
00:17:12.000 I can tolerate that.
00:17:15.000 But this cooking every day, all this other stuff, bro, come on, man.
00:17:20.000 You're in the zone.
00:17:20.000 You're working.
00:17:21.000 Now you got to get up and flip some steaks.
00:17:23.000 Come on, man.
00:17:26.000 Right?
00:17:28.000 So, like, and like, and I tell people this too.
00:17:33.000 Like, if you ever get into content creation, right?
00:17:35.000 If you ever get into content creation, whether you're a YouTuber or TikTok or Instagram, whatever, the number one thing I tell everybody, outsource editing.
00:17:42.000 That's the first thing you need to outsource, right?
00:17:46.000 Outsourcing editing is like the equivalent to like what I say, like in your life, you want to be a minimalist, become successful, outsource cooking, bro.
00:17:53.000 Outsource cooking.
00:17:58.000 So, boom, we got a chef in the house.
00:18:00.000 He says, Chef Tony, I've been a chef for 22 years, executive for seven, and I never want to cook anything else out of work.
00:18:10.000 Thank you so much for that, Chef Tony.
00:18:11.000 I appreciate you, bro.
00:18:13.000 There you go.
00:18:13.000 You got a professional chef right there telling y'all.
00:18:16.000 There you go.
00:18:18.000 You know?
00:18:19.000 And guys, I'm telling you, it's not that expensive to outsource the cooking.
00:18:25.000 I'm telling you guys, it really isn't.
00:18:26.000 Every single one of you guys in here can make six figures a year.
00:18:30.000 Every single one of you guys watching me right now can make six figures a year.
00:18:32.000 If you can make six figures per year, you can absolutely outsource cooking.
00:18:36.000 Okay?
00:18:37.000 That's another thing, right, that we're going to talk about with the minimalism.
00:18:42.000 I need you guys to focus on cutting out whatever you need to cut out so that you can make $100,000 per year.
00:18:49.000 Okay?
00:18:51.000 I need you guys to make $10K per month.
00:18:53.000 That is the goal.
00:18:54.000 $10K per month.
00:18:57.000 I don't care if you got to work two jobs, three jobs, et cetera.
00:19:00.000 You need to have things where nothing is bogging you down.
00:19:03.000 And being a minimalist will help you with that.
00:19:05.000 Your only focus is to make $100K per year.
00:19:08.000 If you have to acquire tools and items and stuff like that, so you can make that money.
00:19:11.000 That's one thing.
00:19:12.000 But like in your personal life, if you don't need it, you get rid of it.
00:19:16.000 Like I told you guys before, 30, 90 days.
00:19:18.000 If you're not using it, get rid of it.
00:19:20.000 Okay, I'll read Chats here in a second.
00:19:34.000 Another thing that will help you guys a lot.
00:19:37.000 Books, magazines, all this stuff.
00:19:40.000 Go digital, guys.
00:19:42.000 Go digital.
00:19:44.000 Try to have as much of your stuff digital as possible.
00:19:50.000 You'll be surprised at how not having a bunch of books and all this other stuff clogging you up, how much that'll free you up.
00:19:58.000 Try to go digital with as much of your stuff as you can.
00:20:01.000 Okay?
00:20:02.000 Go digital.
00:20:04.000 What else?
00:20:14.000 Oh, this won't be important.
00:20:17.000 Cancel all your subscriptions.
00:20:20.000 Guys, you'll be shocked at how much money you guys are losing on like random subscriptions here and there.
00:20:27.000 Okay?
00:20:28.000 I highly suggest, I highly suggest, and they're not even paying me to say this.
00:20:32.000 Get like a rocket money or one of these apps that tracks all your recurring expenses and cancel everything that you don't use.
00:20:40.000 Okay?
00:20:41.000 The Hulu account, the Netflix account, et cetera, cancel all that stuff.
00:20:45.000 Right?
00:20:45.000 If you're not actively using it all the time to better yourself, by the way, get rid of it.
00:20:51.000 If you're using Netflix to watch, you know, a dumb TV show and you're not making six figures a year, cancel it.
00:20:58.000 If you're watching Hulu all the time to watch anime, but you're broke still, cancel it.
00:21:07.000 Okay?
00:21:09.000 These are rewards for people that are doing what they're supposed to be doing.
00:21:17.000 Okay?
00:21:20.000 Hell, if you're a brokeie, I don't even want you an OSS like that.
00:21:23.000 Cancel OSS if you're not going to go ahead and use it and actually learn from it.
00:21:30.000 You know?
00:21:34.000 If you're a brokey, you don't have your stuff together or you're not like, you know, watching and learning, whatever from here.
00:21:41.000 Then yeah.
00:21:46.000 So yeah, guys, I want you guys to be making 10K per month.
00:21:50.000 You guys can absolutely do it, man.
00:21:52.000 Absolutely do it.
00:21:55.000 Absolutely could be done.
00:21:57.000 All right, let me read some of these chats real quick.
00:22:09.000 Mine, I'm 17 in my psychology class.
00:22:11.000 We have a Socratic seminar about LGDB, well, alphabet.
00:22:15.000 It's a complete joke.
00:22:15.000 I'm curious what you think I should talk about to help educate everyone about the joke is.
00:22:19.000 You'll get yourself in trouble.
00:22:21.000 Don't do that.
00:22:22.000 My friend, you're in the Matrix.
00:22:23.000 Just stay in the Matrix.
00:22:25.000 Don't mess yourself up.
00:22:26.000 You're 17.
00:22:27.000 Warehouse guy.
00:22:28.000 To all my fellow brokeies out there, you have a bad degree in anything.
00:22:31.000 Work for Amazon.
00:22:32.000 4 a.m. will get you 60K base, 12.5K stock over two years with annual wage review of more stock every year.
00:22:40.000 There you go.
00:22:41.000 Force also, I'm 28, grew up in a project, moved to LA, started making money, had all the designer mad stuff I didn't need.
00:22:48.000 Blew all my money, left California, bought a camper living on a property I'm developing.
00:22:52.000 I created 250K in equity, profit in the past six months, and starting a new project.
00:22:56.000 Good stuff.
00:22:58.000 One chess says W minimalism.
00:23:00.000 W having self-control in your finances.
00:23:02.000 I learned how you do anything is how you do everything.
00:23:05.000 Manage all your dollars well, manage your calories well, and manage your minutes well, and you'll be ahead of 90% plus the people.
00:23:11.000 Yep.
00:23:12.000 Druski, so you wait, you sold all those designer clothes or you just threw them away?
00:23:16.000 I threw them away.
00:23:17.000 Chef Tony, I've been a chef for 22 years.
00:23:19.000 Yep, that was before we did that.
00:23:22.000 Boogeyman, the cooking thing is tough.
00:23:23.000 I prep boiled eggs for breakfast for the Brett Week.
00:23:26.000 I buy prep chicken from Stu Leonard, so all I have to do is heat it up.
00:23:29.000 I used two to three items max just to cook.
00:23:31.000 Once you have the routine down, it could be pretty efficient.
00:23:33.000 Still wouldn't be nice.
00:23:34.000 Still be nice to have a girl do that for me, not going to lie.
00:23:37.000 Yeah, that's pretty good right there, my friend.
00:23:39.000 A meal prep service would be good too.
00:23:41.000 JD has, yo, Myron, just chatting Annie Frazilla chat earlier, had a positive answer and said they had been planning on collaborating.
00:23:49.000 I hope it's true.
00:23:49.000 We'll see what happens, bro.
00:23:50.000 They got my number, you know.
00:23:52.000 They got my number.
00:23:53.000 They can hit me up.
00:23:56.000 Pablito says, when it comes to cooking, I just buy stuff that bakes easy.
00:24:01.000 Like, go chicken thighs, just prep them and place them in the oven.
00:24:07.000 Yeah, whatever's easiest for you guys.
00:24:09.000 Punisher, wait a minute, Myron.
00:24:10.000 With all due respect, I see you cooking every day, especially on X. Punisher, don't be low IQ, bro.
00:24:16.000 I'm a podcaster.
00:24:17.000 This is my job to be on X. Like, don't be low IQ, bro.
00:24:21.000 Come on, man.
00:24:21.000 Use your brain.
00:24:22.000 You're smarter than that.
00:24:24.000 Capitalist Joker.
00:24:26.000 This minimalism is video is such an important topic and honestly should be a life philosophy for any serious man.
00:24:32.000 W Some of the distractions life focus on is extremely valuable.
00:24:35.000 Thank you for sharing, Myron.
00:24:36.000 Appreciate you, bro.
00:24:37.000 Got you.
00:24:39.000 America first and don't pay for box.
00:24:41.000 Yeah, don't do that.
00:24:42.000 That'll be very bad.
00:24:44.000 Humble genie, tell these people to cancel anime corn and corn in general.
00:24:49.000 If you are broke, then you obviously don't deserve to get laid.
00:24:52.000 Four months inconsistent in a gym will change the way you look and feel distrastically enough to get women fixed to mine alongside the wallet.
00:24:58.000 Yep, absolutely.
00:25:00.000 Absolutely.
00:25:01.000 Yeah, I mean, let's talk about the gym too.
00:25:04.000 Like, this is something that I've talked about, but I'm going to harp on it even more so with minimalism.
00:25:09.000 And this will help you stay disciplined too.
00:25:11.000 Guys, you need to be in the gym.
00:25:14.000 You need to train.
00:25:15.000 Okay.
00:25:15.000 One of the few things that memberships you need to keep is your gym membership.
00:25:19.000 Whether you work out at your building, you have a membership to an LA Fitness or whatever, go to the gym.
00:25:24.000 Because going to the gym, that's going to help you with creating a foundation of discipline.
00:25:28.000 All right.
00:25:29.000 Having a foundation of discipline, guys, is going to allow you to cut out all the clutter and all the stuff you have.
00:25:35.000 It'll help you downsize your wardrobe.
00:25:37.000 It'll help you make the decisions to buy the healthy food, right?
00:25:43.000 Or to get the meal prep.
00:25:47.000 So the gym is the foundation to everything.
00:25:51.000 All right?
00:25:52.000 It really is.
00:26:03.000 Sidon.
00:26:04.000 What if I got a subscription for my protein and creatine?
00:26:06.000 Says me about $30 rather than buying it separately.
00:26:08.000 Yeah, then that's fine.
00:26:10.000 Look, guys, I'm talking about subscription services that don't serve you.
00:26:13.000 All of you guys probably have like some app that you're paying for that you don't know, or you're using, you have a Netflix subscription that you don't use, or Hulu.
00:26:20.000 I'm talking about something that you don't use.
00:26:22.000 Or when you do use it, it doesn't benefit you.
00:26:24.000 Hopefully, you guys are in OSS.
00:26:26.000 You guys are watching the content.
00:26:27.000 You guys are getting educated on, you know, politics, the news, et cetera.
00:26:31.000 You guys know what's going on in the world.
00:26:32.000 That's why I make sure to, you know, keep OSS's education heavy as possible.
00:26:39.000 You know?
00:26:41.000 Yes, a little bit of entertainment, but it's mostly for your education.
00:26:46.000 Okay.
00:26:50.000 Pablito says, I took Myrons advice 2020.
00:26:53.000 I bought my first house in 23.
00:26:55.000 When people ask me how I stay minimalism, I say no women.
00:26:57.000 Yeah, that'll help you.
00:27:00.000 That'll help you.
00:27:02.000 Jakey Season as an engineer in the oil and gas industry, it's very high-risk reward job.
00:27:07.000 So I need to control my finances because I can lose my job anytime.
00:27:10.000 Layoffs are coming in the oil field.
00:27:12.000 Yeah, bro.
00:27:12.000 Be smart.
00:27:13.000 The real elite to my last chat.
00:27:17.000 What last chat did you say?
00:27:21.000 Type it up again, bro, because I don't see it.
00:27:26.000 Tones, haven't had many people talk to take this, talk about the security, cybersecurity path.
00:27:31.000 We did a whole episode on that.
00:27:32.000 Potentially make a lot of money, so much free education.
00:27:34.000 Bro, we did an episode on cybersecurity.
00:27:36.000 I'm pretty sure we had a guy come in and talk about it.
00:27:39.000 One of Fresh's people.
00:27:42.000 Right?
00:27:44.000 So let's go through some of this stuff.
00:27:46.000 Recap.
00:27:51.000 Number one, foundation.
00:27:52.000 Get in the gym.
00:27:54.000 Okay?
00:27:55.000 I didn't mention in the beginning, but I'm going to say it again now because it's the foundation of everything.
00:27:59.000 Get in the gym and train.
00:28:00.000 It's going to create the rudimentary basics and discipline that you need to get everything else done here.
00:28:06.000 Next, cut your stuff down.
00:28:08.000 Two to two through two to three hundred things that you own.
00:28:12.000 Okay?
00:28:13.000 To make the cuts and make it easier for you.
00:28:15.000 If you haven't used it in between 30 to 90 days, get rid of it.
00:28:19.000 Okay?
00:28:21.000 Next, eliminate cooking if you can.
00:28:25.000 Focus on making more money.
00:28:27.000 Cook less.
00:28:28.000 Don't have the pots and pans.
00:28:29.000 Get rid of that.
00:28:30.000 Okay?
00:28:33.000 Either get a meal prep service or, if you are going to cook, cut it down to maybe one day a week so you can focus on working because the cooking is extremely time consuming.
00:28:42.000 Okay?
00:28:46.000 If you can, get apartments that are furnished.
00:28:50.000 This isn't necessarily a step, but this is what I did when I told you guys my story.
00:28:54.000 That will help you so much.
00:28:55.000 Get an apartment that's furnished, guys, so you own less things.
00:28:59.000 Okay?
00:29:02.000 Cut down subscription services that aren't actively helping you.
00:29:05.000 Okay?
00:29:06.000 If you have a Kindle subscription, but you're reading books and you're becoming smarter, keep it.
00:29:11.000 If you're watching OSS and you're not being, you know, and you're learning, keep it.
00:29:15.000 But if you're not, get rid of it.
00:29:17.000 Even me, I'm not immune to this.
00:29:19.000 Come back when you can afford it, especially if you're a brokeie.
00:29:23.000 All right?
00:29:24.000 If you're a brokeie, you got other things to focus on.
00:29:26.000 If you're a broke, you need to focus on getting 10K per month, bro.
00:29:29.000 10K per month is the goal.
00:29:32.000 Okay?
00:29:34.000 Cut and minimalize everything in your life that isn't helping you with freeing up mind space so you can hit that 10K per month.
00:29:41.000 Okay?
00:29:41.000 You're never going to achieve financial freedom until you get 10K per month first.
00:29:44.000 That is the first part.
00:29:47.000 Okay?
00:29:48.000 That is the first goal that you need.
00:29:50.000 10K per month.
00:29:52.000 Okay, guys?
00:29:58.000 What else?
00:30:16.000 Also, try not to live with a woman.
00:30:21.000 They're going to buy stuff.
00:30:23.000 Live by yourself.
00:30:25.000 Okay, guys?
00:30:26.000 Live by yourself.
00:30:28.000 Help you with peace.
00:30:30.000 Help your tranquility.
00:30:32.000 It'll make you more attractive anyway.
00:30:36.000 So don't live with a girl.
00:30:37.000 Don't live with your girl.
00:30:39.000 A big part of that isn't just about, you know, maintaining attraction, but also because it's hard to find a woman that's a minimalist, guys.
00:30:47.000 I'll be honest with y'all.
00:30:49.000 Okay?
00:30:49.000 Very difficult.
00:30:52.000 So don't live with your girlfriend.
00:30:58.000 YTL, what are your opinions on e-commerce businesses?
00:31:02.000 Yeah, it's oversaturated, but a good percentage of those creators give up at least three months in.
00:31:06.000 I know someone has to stand out, and I'll take time to figure that out.
00:31:09.000 Yeah, that's cool.
00:31:09.000 I mean, we did episodes with KT Hustles.
00:31:12.000 Go check those episodes out on Fresh of Fit.
00:31:15.000 Off topic, but I was double charged.
00:31:17.000 Okay.
00:31:19.000 I'll talk to Noble when I see him today.
00:31:22.000 Hey, let me take a picture of this real quick.
00:31:28.000 Taking a picture for you now.
00:31:31.000 Senator Noble for you.
00:31:52.000 Nanyahu's coming back to the White House.
00:31:53.000 Trump invited him again.
00:31:55.000 What else is new, huh?
00:31:57.000 What else is new?
00:31:59.000 Cool, guys.
00:32:00.000 Get your questions in because I'm going to wrap up soon here, man.
00:32:02.000 My voice is cooked.
00:32:06.000 But yeah, man, you guys shouldn't even be bothering looking for a woman unless you got your money on point, man.
00:32:10.000 And I also want to be clear about this, too.
00:32:12.000 I said this earlier.
00:32:13.000 Some guy said, oh, minimalism is a scam.
00:32:17.000 I'm backpacking in Thailand and it sucks.
00:32:19.000 Bro, that's because you're poor.
00:32:21.000 Okay?
00:32:22.000 That's because you're poor.
00:32:23.000 There's a difference between being a minimalist because you have to be because you're poor versus being a minimalist because you're choosing to so you can have peace of mind and work harder.
00:32:33.000 Big difference.
00:32:34.000 If you're a brokey and you're a minimalist, it's going to suck.
00:32:38.000 When you have a money together and you're a minimalist, it's going to create peace.
00:32:42.000 Does that make sense, guys?
00:32:46.000 These broke backpacker guys, nobody cares what your opinion is, bro.
00:32:49.000 I'm sorry.
00:32:50.000 I don't mind to be like a jerk or whatever, but you're poor.
00:32:54.000 No one cares about your opinion.
00:32:56.000 Okay?
00:32:59.000 Clearly, you're in my chat right now in Thailand on a cell phone of some kind.
00:33:05.000 Your priorities are messed up.
00:33:07.000 You probably went to Thailand as a brokey trying to be a passport, bro.
00:33:12.000 Not realizing that you're poor.
00:33:15.000 Not a good move.
00:33:19.000 Chasing women across the country.
00:33:20.000 I'm sorry, across the globe.
00:33:21.000 Don't do that.
00:33:23.000 Sage Myron, I work three jobs seven days a week, close to 120 hours each week.
00:33:28.000 I only make 80K per year, but you helped me build my disc one to go from 40 to 80K.
00:33:34.000 Time for me to level up even more to push 100.
00:33:36.000 Good stuff, man.
00:33:36.000 Good stuff.
00:33:38.000 Abraham on 17 starting to make 510K a week.
00:33:42.000 Okay, good stuff for you, bro.
00:33:43.000 I was off for the cars and materialistic stuff, but you really guided me away from that.
00:33:46.000 Yeah, bro.
00:33:47.000 Don't be a moron because that money can come fast and then you lose fast too.
00:33:52.000 The real leap related to Pierce surrounded official genders.
00:33:57.000 Okay, I'm probably not going to cover the Pierce thing, guys.
00:33:59.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:33:59.000 I got to go.
00:34:00.000 I'm going to go to Starbucks or something.
00:34:02.000 I got to get some tea and honey.
00:34:04.000 I got to rest my voice.
00:34:06.000 But I'm going to finish answering questions here for you guys.
00:34:13.000 What else here?
00:34:20.000 What is his question?
00:34:25.000 Opinion on having hobbies?
00:34:27.000 No hobbies unless you're making 10K per month, man.
00:34:31.000 You don't deserve to have hobbies, bro.
00:34:34.000 You don't deserve to have hobbies if you're making less than 10K per month.
00:34:36.000 And I'm not trying to be hyperbolic or be a jerk saying that, but having hobbies is a privilege that comes from you having extra time from you working hard.
00:34:51.000 Okay?
00:34:53.000 So, so yeah.
00:34:55.000 Look, I got a hater saying, dude's been on for an hour.
00:34:58.000 Bro, my voice is cooked.
00:35:00.000 I'm sick and I'm still here.
00:35:02.000 Like, what?
00:35:03.000 And I'm probably still going to do after-hours.
00:35:06.000 Bro, people are so unappreciative, man.
00:35:08.000 This dude's name, Matt Cab, bro.
00:35:15.000 This dude's unappreciative, like, bro.
00:35:17.000 And you're in Castle Club too, bro.
00:35:18.000 I don't even want you in, man.
00:35:19.000 Can't cancel your subscription, bro.
00:35:21.000 Just cancel your subscription, honestly.
00:35:24.000 What the, like, bro, what the hell?
00:35:27.000 Like, what's wrong with this guy?
00:35:40.000 Any other questions, guys?
00:35:42.000 I'll hang on for a little bit.
00:35:44.000 If there are any questions, nah, dude is just unappreciative, bro.
00:35:55.000 Dude's name is Met Cab.
00:35:56.000 Like I don't even want him in the bro.
00:35:57.000 You're an OSS.
00:35:58.000 Like, get out, bro.
00:35:58.000 I don't even want you in.
00:35:59.000 Don't renew your thing, bro.
00:36:00.000 Honestly.
00:36:05.000 Like, what?
00:36:07.000 Literally over here.
00:36:09.000 Voice gone.
00:36:11.000 Dude is did it like an 11-12 hour stream yesterday.
00:36:13.000 Dude is over here talking smack, bro.
00:36:15.000 What?
00:36:15.000 Are you serious, dude?
00:36:27.000 Like, I don't want people like that in my community, bro.
00:36:29.000 Like, you could be, if you're a YouTube guy, that's one thing.
00:36:31.000 But if you're in the OSS, like, bro, I don't even want you around, man.
00:36:34.000 Like, I'll cancel your sub for you, man.
00:36:35.000 Let me find this guy.
00:36:37.000 Like, bruh.
00:36:39.000 Like, we don't need the subs that bad, man.
00:36:40.000 Like, I don't want people like that in my community, bro.
00:36:43.000 No way.
00:36:50.000 Like, bruh.
00:38:01.000 Yeah, bro.
00:38:01.000 Get this guy out of here, bro.

00:38:29.000 And she's a journalist.
00:38:32.000 She broke a lot.
00:38:32.000 She breaks a lot of good stories.
00:38:35.000 She kept Trump out of jail, honestly.
00:38:39.000 Abraham, I know you lost your voice, but yesterday's stream was one of the best.
00:38:42.000 Appreciate the work you put in.
00:38:44.000 Now, rest for the work you have ahead.
00:38:46.000 Yeah, bro.
00:38:46.000 That's why I got annoyed by this guy, Matt Cab.
00:38:48.000 Like, unappreciative, bro.
00:38:49.000 I don't even want you in my community, bro.
00:38:51.000 Literally, I'm over here feel like crap, sick.
00:38:56.000 This guy's over here saying, like, oh, MF or been on for an hour.
00:38:59.000 Like, bro, get out my chat.
00:39:01.000 Get out of my community, bro.
00:39:03.000 My son, would any other active sports that's hyper-focused on your body progression a good alternative than Jim?
00:39:10.000 Because as of now, I'm just so focused on my MMA trainings.
00:39:13.000 Yeah, I mean, yeah, dude, if you're doing MMA, that's cool.
00:39:17.000 That's cool, but don't be one of these brokeies that's training MMA and you're broke.
00:39:21.000 Like, don't do that.
00:39:23.000 You know, um, Fifth Elemental, Martin, where do I send the DoorDash with chicken soup and hot?
00:39:31.000 I appreciate you, man.
00:39:32.000 But no, I'm good.
00:39:33.000 I'm good.
00:39:35.000 I just don't like unappreciative people.
00:39:36.000 That's one of the most like one of my pet peeves, bro.
00:39:39.000 I absolutely hate unappreciative people.
00:39:43.000 So, um, did like a 10 or 11-hour stream yesterday.
00:39:49.000 I stream more than anybody else, bro, by far.
00:39:51.000 No one comes close.
00:39:54.000 Um, let's see here, okay.
00:40:14.000 Uh, Bamir says, uh, hey, Myron, looking to lose weight without getting loose skin.
00:40:25.000 Any tips or workouts to do in the gym?
00:40:28.000 Uh, the key, if you want to lose weight without getting loose skin, is uh, you got to do it very nice and slowly.
00:40:35.000 That's you got to do it nice and slowly.
00:40:36.000 If you lose weight too quickly, then that loose skin is definitely going to come.
00:40:39.000 But if you're really big, it might be almost inevitable.
00:40:42.000 Lana, I wish more women listened to Myron.
00:40:45.000 W almost nine years with my husband.
00:40:47.000 We just welcomed our baby and met when we were 16.
00:40:49.000 Now we're 25.
00:40:50.000 I love more women listening to you.
00:40:52.000 I appreciate you, Laura, or Lana, excuse me.
00:40:54.000 Appreciate you greatly.
00:40:56.000 Hey, as long as the smart ones listen, it's all good.
00:41:00.000 V Lo Geo is at the moment still good business to do.
00:41:04.000 Still, I'm trying to get my money up.
00:41:06.000 Okay, rest up, Myron.
00:41:07.000 Nobody works so hard as you do.
00:41:08.000 I appreciate you, man.
00:41:10.000 Fresh updates, WOSS.
00:41:12.000 Appreciate you, man.
00:41:16.000 Cool.
00:41:17.000 I think we're VLO Geo.
00:41:22.000 Is it a good idea to have crypto fund real estate so that I can do FHA loan on a duplex?
00:41:27.000 You can, but remember, you have to pull the crypto out and pay capital gains taxes on it.
00:41:33.000 So, and crypto is volatile.
00:41:36.000 So, make sure you're you know what you're doing.
00:41:40.000 All right, cool.
00:41:41.000 So, guys, I think that's going to do it for today's episode, Money Monday.
00:41:45.000 Um, I'm going to, we're not going to do the pierce thing.
00:41:49.000 I'm going to probably do it tomorrow.
00:41:52.000 Um, I'm going to figure out what I'm going to do with the after hours right now.
00:41:58.000 I think we're still going to do after hours, whether I do it or sit in the back and have Fresh and Chris do it because I already know that I could stream and go hard, but I know if I do that, I'm going to be sick tomorrow.
00:42:14.000 You know, you know, when you're in that in-between period, guys, where like if you don't sleep enough or you don't drink water or whatever, you know, you're going to be sick the next day.
00:42:22.000 I'm right there in the in-between.
00:42:23.000 Like, every decision I make over the next 12 hours is going to dictate how I feel tomorrow.
00:42:28.000 It's like one of those pivotal situations.
00:42:30.000 You feel like you're going to get sick.
00:42:31.000 You're like, oh no, I need to get that emergency.
00:42:33.000 That's where I am right now.
00:42:36.000 So, and yeah, yeah, so that's what it is, man.
00:42:46.000 Guys, it's fine, man.
00:42:47.000 Don't be mad at this Matt guy or whatever his name is.
00:42:50.000 We got rid of him.
00:42:50.000 He's good.
00:42:50.000 He's out of here.
00:42:52.000 He's out of here, bro.
00:42:54.000 Don't get pissed off at him, guys.
00:42:55.000 No need.
00:42:57.000 You know, you always get weirdos every now and then.
00:43:02.000 You know, so some people, people, you know, you always get like unappreciative people that are weirdos.
00:43:06.000 It happens, dude.
00:43:08.000 You know, you got to remember that, like, a lot of people, man, like, just don't have like social awareness.
00:43:14.000 So it is what it is.
00:43:16.000 But yeah, guys, I hope that helps you guys with your minimalism goals.
00:43:22.000 We'll go through it one more time.
00:43:27.000 Okay.
00:43:29.000 Step one: you're going to get in the gym and you're going to train.
00:43:31.000 That's going to build the foundational structure for you to have the discipline to actually, you know, get this done and stick with it, okay?
00:43:41.000 Long term.
00:43:42.000 It's not going to be easy to get rid of your stuff.
00:43:43.000 But if you can go to the gym, grind in there, train really hard, make changes to your body, it's going to be a lot easier to make changes to possession things that you possess.
00:43:54.000 Okay.
00:43:55.000 Next, you're going to cut your things that you own down from two to three hundred things in that range.
00:44:01.000 Okay.
00:44:04.000 You're going to get rid of anything that you haven't used in the last 30 to 90 days.
00:44:07.000 Throw it out.
00:44:08.000 Okay.
00:44:09.000 The closer you have to 200, the better.
00:44:12.000 Hell, if you could cut it down to even 100, that's good.
00:44:14.000 Okay.
00:44:16.000 You're not going to own much clothes.
00:44:17.000 You're not going to own much shoes.
00:44:18.000 Maybe two, three pairs of shoes.
00:44:20.000 Right.
00:44:23.000 If you can, get an apartment that's furnished.
00:44:25.000 Makes your life a lot easier.
00:44:27.000 Try to avoid cooking.
00:44:29.000 Get rid of pots and pans.
00:44:31.000 Outsource that.
00:44:32.000 Whether you get a meal prep service or you do minimalist cooking or you get food that's easy to prepare or you order out, outsource cooking right away.
00:44:41.000 That's a huge time killer when you account for everything, right?
00:44:44.000 Get rid of subscription services that aren't benefiting you.
00:44:48.000 If you have like crunchy roll or something like that, get rid of that if you're not making 10K per month.
00:44:53.000 You have not earned the privilege of having a hobby or watching anime or enjoying yourself if you're not making $10,000 per month.
00:45:01.000 Guys, it's 2025.
00:45:03.000 $100,000 per year is going to be the new $50K per year.
00:45:07.000 Okay?
00:45:08.000 AI is taking jobs.
00:45:10.000 This is literally sick or swim, do or die.
00:45:13.000 Make as much money as you can now over the next five years.
00:45:16.000 I honestly think opportunities are going to start dropping.
00:45:21.000 Okay?
00:45:23.000 Live by yourself.
00:45:25.000 Don't live with your girlfriend.
00:45:27.000 That will also help you a lot.
00:45:30.000 Okay?
00:45:34.000 If you do, and then on top of that, now that you've minimalized a lot of the things in your life, the possession things, focus on making 10K per month, guys.
00:45:44.000 10K per month.
00:45:45.000 Do or die.
00:45:46.000 You can have a full-time job, drive Uber, do Uber Eats on the side.
00:45:50.000 I don't care.
00:45:51.000 But the goal is $10,000 per month.
00:45:54.000 All of you guys can do that.
00:45:55.000 Every single one of you can make $100K per month.
00:45:57.000 If you're making $10K per month, you've officially made way too much to be cooking.
00:46:03.000 Okay?
00:46:07.000 So there we go.
00:46:11.000 Martin, when did you become minimalist?
00:46:13.000 Like 2010, 2011-ish.
00:46:16.000 Martin, I have $50,000 of liquid assets.
00:46:18.000 Do you think I should use that to purchase a multifamily home in Massachusetts, or is that not enough?
00:46:23.000 Probably not enough in Massachusetts, bro.
00:46:24.000 I'll be honest with you.
00:46:25.000 Probably not enough.
00:46:26.000 Unless you're going to do like a FHA home loan.
00:46:30.000 And it depends where you're buying in Massachusetts.
00:46:33.000 Jay Hunter, hey, Martin, is there a way we can get a funny montage of your ethnic rants on OSS for OSS only?
00:46:40.000 Maybe Brett can make you guys a video.
00:46:42.000 VLO, for next Monday Mondays, you should have Carlton Dennis on.
00:46:46.000 He's very good at tax savings in real estate.
00:46:49.000 It'll be a legendary with you and Steven on that day.
00:46:51.000 And we got Steven.
00:46:53.000 Steve's the best.
00:46:56.000 All right, guys.
00:46:57.000 I hope you guys enjoyed that stream.
00:46:58.000 I'm sorry, my voice isn't the greatest, but a lot of good info there.
00:47:02.000 We're going to put a, I'm going to put time stamps in here for you guys and send this video to somebody, you know, short and sweet, right around an hour.
00:47:09.000 Send this video to somebody that needs help with minimalizing.
00:47:11.000 I'm sure one of those tips right there can help you out, whether it's, you know, getting rid of anything that you haven't used in 30, 90 days, or cutting down to 200 things, or eliminating cooking, eliminating subscription services you're not using.
00:47:22.000 Okay.
00:47:23.000 If you're going to move somewhere to a new city, try to get a furnished apartment.
00:47:27.000 Okay.
00:47:28.000 It's worth a little bit extra, right?
00:47:30.000 For the peace of mind.
00:47:33.000 Okay, guys?
00:47:34.000 Love you, ninjas.
00:47:35.000 I'm going to figure out what I'm going to do with the boys here for First Fit After Hours.
00:47:40.000 And I'll catch you guys.
