00:14:11.000 And then the second thing they were arguing was how the defense was going to approach Cassie on direct, on cross-examination.

00:14:19.000 Okay, and as you guys know, cross-examination, it was in the defense, gets the ability to question the government witness.

00:14:25.000 Direct examination is when the prosecution talks to the government witness.

00:14:28.000 So in this case, it would be the AUSA is talking to Cassie.

00:14:32.000 Cross-examination is the defense talking to Cassie, okay, or a government witness for that matter.
