We are here with Two of the Legends, Brandon Carter, and Kino Body.
00:11:34.000
We are joined with two legends in the fitness space, man.
00:11:38.000
And we are here to answer your guys' questions.
00:11:58.000
And then we're going to go to his party in May.
00:12:11.000
You know, I had to roast him a little bit just now before the stream.
00:12:14.000
So if you guys want to go check that out, MyronGainesX.
00:12:30.000
But yeah, I roasted his dumb ass because he had some comments to say, but he's double-digit IQ. Am I missing anything?
00:12:38.000
I'll be at Penn State debating idiots on immigration and feminism.
00:12:43.000
So if you guys want to go ahead and check that out, I'm probably going to trigger some liberals.
00:12:49.000
Yeah, Penn State, April 7th, and then we're going to go to the United Kingdom on April 9th or 10th.
00:12:58.000
So yeah, so we'll be in the UK for a bit, so obviously we won't be able to do a couple of shows.
00:13:14.000
And without further ado, man, guys, welcome back to the show, man.
00:13:42.000
People in Canada are freaking out about these tariffs.
00:13:46.000
They're not looking at the situation logically.
00:13:53.000
An old man came up to my friend and said, don't buy those raspberries.
00:14:01.000
Canadians think they have leverage in this situation.
00:14:05.000
Canadian exports account for a little over 1% of Americans' GDP. You know what I'm saying?
00:14:13.000
Like 1%, but it's American imports from Canada.
00:14:28.000
My supplement business is in the US. If a Canadian orders my supplements, they have to pay like 25% tax to the Canadian government.
00:14:38.000
So the Canadian government taxes the hell out of anything that Canadians buy from the US. Has it always been this way?
00:14:48.000
Basically, if you're Canadian, you buy American clothes that come to Canada, you pay a massive tax.
00:14:55.000
And then if you're in the U.S., you have a business and you sell to, you know, if someone in the U.S. buys Canadian clothes, there's no tax.
00:15:05.000
And so now, I guess what Trump has done is he's kind of putting pressure about these tariffs, the situation.
00:15:11.000
And I think a lot of Canadians don't understand what's actually going on with the tariffs.
00:15:17.000
We've been sort of the beneficiary of this situation.
00:15:21.000
Yeah, Trump always says that we're getting ripped off when it comes to trade.
00:15:27.000
Honestly, Canadians are getting ripped off because there is products that Canadians don't even make.
00:15:35.000
And so if your only option is to buy from the US, then you have to buy that product anyway.
00:15:41.000
And so it's the Canadian government just taxing its own citizens.
00:15:45.000
Would you be upset if you guys became the 51st state?
00:15:49.000
I mean, I do not see it happening because I don't imagine that Trump would want Canadians as voters.
00:16:02.000
If they were the 50th state, it'd be one state.
00:16:20.000
The whole country's GDP is just over 2 trillion.
00:16:40.000
But to his point though, they're going to vote for the opposite, not Trump.
00:16:44.000
Yeah, they're going to lean a little bit more left.
00:16:48.000
I couldn't imagine Trump would want Canadians as voters.
00:16:51.000
I think obviously with Canada being a 51st state, he's like...
00:16:55.000
If you read the book, Art of the Deal, one of his key strategies...
00:17:00.000
To start a negotiation, you set a massive anchor.
00:17:07.000
And now people are kind of anchored to make a deal they wouldn't have made otherwise.
00:17:15.000
What would have to happen for Canada to become a 51st state?
00:17:21.000
There's so many things that would have to happen.
00:17:23.000
I don't really see it being something that's feasible.
00:17:30.000
I would argue maybe 30% of your population would want to become a part of America, but the other 70% is probably like, no, we want to be sovereign.
00:17:41.000
But the money is in the US. It is so much harder to make money in Canada.
00:17:50.000
Like you really have Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, like those are like the key cities.
00:17:58.000
And so like in the U.S. you have so many other places to live.
00:18:04.000
No one's going to want to go and move to Winnipeg.
00:18:09.000
It's very limited, and it's much harder to build wealth.
00:18:15.000
That's why you have to come to the winning team, man.
00:18:17.000
All my customers, when I started selling e-books when I was 19, 20, 85% of my customers were US-based, maybe 10% Canadian.
00:18:27.000
So the market is here in the US. Keep it a buck, bro.
00:18:43.000
I used to export these nuts to Canada all the time.
00:18:54.000
We've had a weird amount of fitness YouTubers and fitness coaches and fitness celebrities that have originated from Canada.
00:19:02.000
There's been a lot like there's a weird amount of youtubers, you know, you got Will Tenney, you know, Greg Doucette, there's, um, there is...
00:19:13.000
Yeah, we had him on the show like a month ago or so, yeah.
00:19:18.000
There's like, there's so many, there's something...
00:19:23.000
Jeff Nippert, I was like, hey, you want to come on?
00:19:37.000
And half his audience is probably women, so, like, they're gonna bitch and moan.
00:19:40.000
I remember when we did something with Christian Guzman, a bunch of people were crying about that.
00:19:47.000
I'll probably hit him up and we'll need to do something out in Houston again.
00:19:53.000
But here in America, have you guys been paying attention to the tariff situation, or it's not as much talked about?
00:19:59.000
So, the conservatives love it, the Democrats hate it, which would make sense, right?
00:20:06.000
Because the Democrats oppose anything Trump does.
00:20:11.000
Because in Canada, it's a dominant, massive thing.
00:20:18.000
Like, Trump just bombed the Houthis on Saturday, so that's kind of been mainstream news.
00:20:21.000
And also, he said that Biden, his pardons are void.
00:20:28.000
Wait, so his son is going to actually be, like, tried?
00:20:30.000
He basically alluded to that, and Dr. Fauci and shit, that they might get charged.
00:20:37.000
He basically, apparently, he signed him with an auto pen, which makes him not legit.
00:20:42.000
In the government, it's like an automatic signature.
00:20:56.000
PTSD! I thought I was going to shoot that dog like in Call of Duty.
00:20:58.000
You know, like in Call of Duty when the dogs come at you.
00:21:35.000
Like, bro, I don't even think people remember him as, like, the dogfighter guy.
00:21:41.000
Bro, like yeah, like that's old school, but like yeah, man, like Michael Vick like had a whole dog ring Like he was fighting him in Virginia like brother feds came up and everything.
00:21:49.000
It was a big deal It was like 0405 I remember hearing about that.
00:21:54.000
Yeah, yeah He was fighting pit balls like dude had a whole ring doing this shit They had a gambling operation all this shit.
00:21:59.000
I give us the biggest- Did he get booked for that?
00:22:05.000
I don't remember like He wasn't in the NFL for a minute.
00:22:15.000
I remember playing, like, Madden, and he was, like, the fastest QB. So, yeah, he was...
00:22:19.000
The only quarterback that actually didn't throw.
00:22:37.000
U.S., and then she's like, I don't want to travel right now because of this tariff situation.
00:22:43.000
Yeah, and now, like, this is, like, now a sense of Canadian pride where now Canadians are standing up for the anthem over this tariff.
00:23:01.000
You don't know who that is because you're Canadian.
00:23:11.000
It has been horribly run, especially since the last seven, eight years with Trudeau.
00:23:30.000
I think everything's going to work out for sure.
00:23:47.000
But we have like 70% of the same level of resources as the US. So Canada is hyper rich.
00:23:54.000
People that have moved from Canada to the US and have become billionaires and built massive tech companies.
00:24:02.000
Well, I think there's two things that have hurt Canada the most.
00:24:04.000
And you could, you know, this can be controversial, so you don't have to agree or disagree if you don't want to.
00:24:08.000
And I think immigration fucked you guys up bad.
00:24:10.000
I think you guys let way too many third-worlders in.
00:24:13.000
And if you look to Toronto now, it doesn't even feel like you're in Canada.
00:24:17.000
I mean, that's not even a controversial thing to say.
00:24:22.000
Trudeau had to put together a commercial saying...
00:24:26.000
I messed up and we let into too many immigrants.
00:24:29.000
He put that out like several months ago because it's been such a problem.
00:24:33.000
And I know this because I actually worked very closely with RCMP and CBSA right before I left the government.
00:24:39.000
We had a case on Sri Lankans, which you guys have the biggest Sri Lankan population in the world outside of Sri Lanka and Toronto.
00:24:45.000
And they just exploit your asylum program, man.
00:24:50.000
I don't know if you're familiar with it, but like they have a very exploitative asylum program where people are basically able to get it.
00:24:58.000
Like the immigration system is, you know, we have a bad immigration system here, but they absolutely abused the one in Canada.
00:25:04.000
It's way easier to get Canadian residency than it is American.
00:25:09.000
As a matter of fact, so many of them come in illegally into America.
00:25:27.000
You know, he's in the bridle path in a 40,000 square foot mansion with guards.
00:25:33.000
He's completely divorced from what's happening.
00:25:40.000
The Kendrick-Drake battle, and now the terrorists.
00:25:49.000
Listen, I wanted to support the light-skinned brothers, you know, because we get it rough in our community, you know what I'm saying?
00:26:07.000
And so now it's back to Jay-Z. But, because he just fought.
00:26:11.000
Strong Canadian, at least he stepped in the arena.
00:26:14.000
He lost, but at least he stepped into the arena and he put up a good fight.
00:26:28.000
I've said I do think that he's a part of the reason that we've ushered in this very feminine and docile generation of men.
00:26:41.000
But what I will say, despite the fact that I'm a heavy critic of his music and the movement he's pushed, I think he's head and shoulders above Kendrick in every metric of being a musician.
00:26:51.000
I think Kendrick is going to have to fight to make top ten hip-hop artists of all time.
00:26:55.000
I think Drake is going to go down as a top ten musician of all time.
00:26:58.000
He's going to be with the Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, etc.
00:27:04.000
Yeah, so they can sit there and say, oh yeah, Kendrick won the beef.
00:27:08.000
Yeah, he won the battle, but who's gonna win the war?
00:27:10.000
I think Drake is gonna be the one that's gonna be immortalized as a top 10 musician.
00:27:14.000
This is coming from someone that doesn't even like Drake, but I can acknowledge that he's a musical genius.
00:27:18.000
He was the first artist to really bring blunt hip-hop and singing together.
00:27:22.000
First artist I've seen that was Big That Can Do Both.
00:27:24.000
You don't remember, you're not old enough, man, but I'm old.
00:27:39.000
Bone Thugs and Harmony, they were singing and rapping.
00:28:18.000
Yo, man, but at least Drake stood up to him, man.
00:28:26.000
Guys, the number to call into the show, we're going to put it up for you guys.
00:28:30.000
And Brandon, if you could just introduce yourself.
00:28:34.000
Just introduce yourself to the people for those that might not know?
00:28:36.000
Sorry, we didn't mean to get you off track while asking about Canada.
00:28:42.000
My company is kinobody.com, and I teach people how to look like movie stars, and we have natural supplements to transform your body, increase testosterone.
00:28:53.000
We're starting up the phone line, 646-490-0394.
00:29:00.000
You got two very successful people here on the panel, man.
00:29:02.000
You guys can ask questions to whether it's fitness, getting in shape, running a fitness business, literally two of the best at it.
00:29:10.000
So, clothing, because I know you still have a clothing brand as well.
00:29:13.000
You know, for guys that want to be a bit more aesthetic with their fit.
00:29:22.000
If you guys want to cut the line, just superchat and fnfsuperchat.com.
00:29:43.000
Right now, I teach people how to grow their online fitness businesses.
00:29:47.000
I came up around the same time Greg was making moves, man.
00:29:51.000
You made millions of dollars doing online fitness business, and now I teach people how to do it.
00:30:03.000
He started his business back when he was the feds, and then it allowed him to help you transition into doing this.
00:30:13.000
I had extra money so I could invest in the studio and stuff.
00:30:21.000
What were you making at your peak as an online trainer before Fresh and Fit?
00:30:46.000
On a bad month, like 10 to 15. Good month, like 40 to 50. But I would say average around $20,000 a month extra on top of what I was doing with the government.
00:30:56.000
And that's how we were able to kind of start the podcast because I had that money sitting there.
00:31:00.000
So when I did have to resign, I had a little bit of a cushion so that we can have the equipment and then also be able to do the show.
00:31:08.000
It definitely created that cushion so that we can get the podcast started.
00:31:12.000
Listen, if you guys want to learn, I got a free resource for y'all.
00:31:15.000
It's called The Ten Commandments of Online Training.
00:31:17.000
It'll show you how to grow your online fitness business or start it, even if you're not certified, even if you don't have a lot of experience, even if you don't have a big follow, because Myra had no following at the time, you know what I'm saying?
00:31:26.000
Yeah, I had like a thousand followers on Instagram, like nothing.
00:31:29.000
So if you want to know more about it, that book will put you in the right direction.
00:31:36.000
I did a fucking part-time while working for Uncle Sam.
00:31:39.000
And one of the biggest cases in the country at the time, I couldn't donate.
00:31:43.000
I couldn't dedicate all my time to doing the fitness stuff.
00:31:47.000
So I was able to do it while working a full-time, very intensive job.
00:31:52.000
You had to get permission because you were hitting me up like, I don't know if I can join yet.
00:31:57.000
And for all the government employees out there, basically what happened was I went to the seminar and I was like, hey Brandon, can I... Can I hit you back?
00:32:05.000
Because when you work for the government, you have to get something called outside employment paperwork authorization.
00:32:10.000
So I got it signed by the special agent in charge in my office.
00:32:14.000
Then I was able to sign up because you can't work a job.
00:32:17.000
Because if you do that shit, that'll fuck you up.
00:32:18.000
If you just take on a job or start doing things...
00:32:23.000
Or if it's a police department, outside department.
00:32:26.000
Every agency has it, but it's like basically...
00:32:29.000
Authorization to do outside activities or outside employment.
00:32:31.000
So once I got that signed, then I was able to kind of go in.
00:32:33.000
So I had to wait a month for the guy to, because they had to go up the chain of command for it to be signed.
00:32:38.000
And then as soon as they got signed, I hit him up, and we just made it happen right away.
00:32:43.000
So if y'all wanted that free e-book and learn more about it, the link is in the description.
00:32:47.000
If I can do it, guys, working a fucking full-time job chasing after terrorists and shit, you guys could do it too, man.
00:33:01.000
I suggest you ask the questions to Greg and Brandon.
00:33:04.000
We're going to have a Zoom call for you guys on Wednesday, so I would say dedicate your questions to them.
00:33:09.000
Wildly successful entrepreneurs in different fields.
00:33:53.000
But long story short, I have three semesters left until I finish my accounting degree.
00:34:04.000
I'm just kind of trying to figure out some side hustles that I can do while in school full-time, pretty much.
00:34:16.000
I don't know, do you need to be certified to do accounting?
00:34:21.000
Making about 25 an hour, working 21 hours a week.
00:34:26.000
Why don't you do people's taxes as like a side hustle?
00:34:29.000
Like, I don't know, do you need some sort of certification for that?
00:34:34.000
He might be able to do it off the record and just say, hey, nigga.
00:34:44.000
Yeah, you definitely could prepare regular 1040s for people.
00:35:03.000
Do you know how to do data analytics and shit like that?
00:35:09.000
I mean, I kind of just know my accounting skills.
00:35:19.000
I've only had two internships so far, so I'm like, my experience ain't where I want it to be.
00:35:26.000
I'm not, like, too well-versed in data analytics, like, specifically, though.
00:35:30.000
If I was you, I know I just think it might make you more, like, diverse, right?
00:35:34.000
If you can, like, analyze financial data as opposed to just doing taxes, right?
00:35:39.000
So if you Google, if you go on Coursera, Google has a course.
00:35:50.000
And obviously, you can do a lot of that with AI. But they cover that, right?
00:35:54.000
Because Google is, like, big in AI. And if you can, like, do, like, forensic accounting or, like, you know, like, just add to your skill set.
00:36:08.000
I mean, you might as well, like, work with something you already have, you know?
00:36:15.000
Yeah, I'm definitely going to look into doing that for sure.
00:36:22.000
You could also add as well, you could become a funding officer.
00:36:35.000
Like, if you can get some bookkeeping, some data analytics, you know, just be more well-rounded.
00:36:42.000
You might have learned, like, Python and some shit like that.
00:36:45.000
But it'll be, I think it'll be helpful for you, you know?
00:36:52.000
I'm definitely going to be, like, looking into that.
00:36:54.000
As I want to say, you guys definitely really motivated me.
00:36:57.000
Like, I just literally got back to school from spring break, but I literally, I just...
00:37:03.000
I just pulled in extra hours at my internship because we don't have the extra mission to work more billable hours.
00:37:15.000
I just tried to like do what I could And shit like that Cause y'all really like motivated me Like y'all be like Oh like you a bitch ass nigga If you're not working like 60, 70 hours I'm like Yeah Yeah I'm missing like I've been on the same shit man Like, if you broke, right?
00:37:31.000
If you're happy with what you got, whatever that means, then cool.
00:37:36.000
But if you're not happy with how much money you got, then, you know, there's an easy way to fix that.
00:37:56.000
Hell, even if you guys want to use MyronGainesX, whatever,.com, whichever one.
00:38:00.000
But if you're on Castle Club, you can donate there.
00:38:02.000
If you're watching on Rumble, you can donate there.
00:38:03.000
Or if you're watching on YouTube, you can use MyronGainesX.com.
00:38:08.000
But either or, whichever way you guys want to cut the line.
00:38:30.000
Wow, I'm just kind of, you know, a little flabbergasted right now, you know what I'm saying?
00:38:42.000
I know you guys got a lot of calls on the line, so I just want to be quick.
00:38:50.000
I've been, like, through ups and downs my entire life.
00:39:00.000
I just got a full-time job, kind of, making, like, two bands a month.
00:39:06.000
But they're kind of, like, giving me, like, a lot of crazy hours and shit.
00:39:10.000
So, just two quick questions I had was, like, how do I, like, really...
00:39:16.000
Like, get myself back to, like, how I was, like, just trying to, like, be better as a man and stuff.
00:39:24.000
How many hours a week are you working making $2,000 a month?
00:39:44.000
I actually, for this job, they do random drug tests.
00:39:47.000
I used to smoke, but I stopped to get this job.
00:40:06.000
Almost 10 years ago at Chick-fil-A and AT&T. You're starting somewhere, bro, so don't be flip out about starting somewhere.
00:40:12.000
But you're 30 with a 10-year-old kid, bro, you gotta hustle now, bro.
00:40:19.000
Like, when I was struggling in 2008, like, I remember, I told this story before, but it bears repeating right now.
00:40:24.000
I was in 2008, my father had just, like, shot himself, blew his brains out.
00:40:30.000
He blew his brains out, and it was, like, right during the recession.
00:40:33.000
Of 08. So I had to take care of my family, my mom, my sister, my grandma and shit.
00:40:48.000
And it was the highest unemployment we had since the Depression.
00:40:54.000
And I just got like blue-collar-ish kind of jobs.
00:40:56.000
So I would wake up, I'd train people in the morning.
00:40:58.000
At like 4. I'd wake up at 4, train people in the morning.
00:41:01.000
Shower at the gym, then I would go to the Prada store and I was a security guard at the Prada store.
00:41:10.000
But I was there and they paid me and then after that I worked for my boys moving company.
00:41:28.000
That was before that, because it's a different story.
00:41:30.000
At the recession, shit changed, and there wasn't enough money to support.
00:41:34.000
I could fuck around when my dad was alive and take care of my mom, but when I got taken care of my mom, I needed more money than that shit.
00:41:40.000
So on the weekends, I would wake up at 4. Train people, and then after that, I managed a restaurant in Queens.
00:41:45.000
So it was like 12, 14 hour days, seven days a week.
00:41:51.000
24. Yeah, because in my earlier 20s, that's when I got scouted by the modeling agency.
00:41:57.000
But it wasn't real money, you know what I'm saying?
00:41:59.000
It wasn't enough money to do the kind of shit I had to do after my dad killed himself, you know what I'm saying?
00:42:05.000
So it was like, it was enough money for me to come to Miami, get some weight.
00:42:14.000
I had to stop doing that because my boy, one of my boys got sent to prison.
00:42:26.000
And then my father killed himself and I was like, oh shit, I gotta change my shit.
00:42:35.000
I started like six years before you and I had no kids at the time.
00:42:45.000
It's tough now, 2025, to live on the $12 an hour.
00:42:52.000
That's not like 10 years ago if you're making $12 an hour.
00:42:55.000
It's a little bit different, but now it's hard.
00:42:57.000
So you got to find what's the quickest path to make a little bit more money.
00:43:08.000
Yeah, if you're good, you know, it's going to take a minute to get good.
00:43:14.000
It's going to take a while to get through that learning curve.
00:43:20.000
Try and look for something that's definitely more lucrative.
00:43:23.000
Because there's only so many hours you can put in, right?
00:43:26.000
If you're at 40, you can push it to 50, 60. 80 is the max I've seen somebody work for a consistent amount of time.
00:43:42.000
Because people will do more to avoid pain than they will to seek pleasure.
00:43:48.000
So you got to have a lot of pain you're running from to push it to 80. You got to have so much pain.
00:43:59.000
But you know, it's funny that you guys said that because right before I got this job, this full-time job...
00:44:05.000
I had a part-time job that I had, but the hours that I'm at with this full-time job, I'm at the bottom of the totem pole.
00:44:13.000
So it's like I'm working a.m., then p.m., then a.m., then a.m.
00:44:21.000
I possibly will go back to the other part-time job I had, but I don't have a seniority right now.
00:44:29.000
Does your kid live with you? - Sometimes, I don't, she has them like majority.
00:44:38.000
It's like, yeah, because that would make it different.
00:44:40.000
I didn't have no kids at the time when I was putting in that kind of work, you know?
00:44:45.000
That's why I tell young people, man, don't squander your youth because it's more difficult when you have a lot of responsibilities.
00:44:51.000
This brother had a kid when he was 20, so, you know.
00:44:55.000
But yeah, man, you just gotta, don't live what you can't do, stop you from doing what you can't do.
00:44:58.000
I think picking up a second job is gonna be critical here.
00:45:01.000
And then try to figure out a high-income skill, bro, that's gonna make you more money.
00:45:05.000
Because obviously you won't be able to do this forever.
00:45:06.000
But in the meantime, you're gonna need to make more money, man.
00:45:13.000
Like, I don't know if you live with your mom or you live with your family or something like that where you're able to do that, but $2,000 a month, bro, is very low.
00:45:31.000
Alright man, so it's like it's the beauty the beauty of that is man, you can work hard and he'll be aight.
00:45:38.000
I didn't see my dad a lot growing up even though he lived with my parents, but he was like working super hard and he lived with us I mean he lived with me, you know, you know that my parents were together until he died but he was working super hard and I ain't seen him but it didn't affect our relationship in a negative way like we were still like super tight like he was like my best friend so it's uh with a boy you can You know, men are supposed to be out, like, traditionally men are supposed to be out hunting and shit, fighting wars.
00:46:06.000
I still spend time with him, but you might not.
00:46:09.000
Do you have any potential support from your family?
00:46:16.000
I mean, I stay with my family, like I said to my uncle.
00:46:30.000
Alright, so what do you contribute, like 500 bucks a month or something like that?
00:46:38.000
Alright, so I mean, do you pay for your own food and all that?
00:46:43.000
Like how much do you have left over after everything's done?
00:46:49.000
Pretty much just after, you know, my bills and stuff too, I'm pretty much just trying to save and stuff.
00:46:55.000
Because unfortunately, I do have a DUI, so I'm trying to work on my license back as well.
00:47:16.000
Okay, you got a DUI. Yeah, they're going to suspend your license for like a year or two, but it's been eight years, bro.
00:47:22.000
Are you saying you don't have your license, or what's going on here?
00:47:25.000
I don't have my license, but, like, the stipulations that they've been giving me to, like, get it back has just been a lot.
00:47:32.000
So that's why I've just been trying to, like, save my money and stuff.
00:47:36.000
What was your blood alcohol content for this DUI? Was it just a DUI? Did you get an accident, too?
00:47:45.000
You know, I was injured, like, nothing like that.
00:47:49.000
Is this your first DUI or was it, like, your second or third?
00:47:59.000
Because, bro, for eight years ago, for you to still be dealing with license issues, yeah.
00:48:04.000
And you do realize, once you get your third, more than likely there's going to be a felony, right?
00:48:51.000
Yo, by the way, DUIs last for five to ten years.
00:48:55.000
Well, for him especially, because this is his second.
00:48:59.000
Normally, they spend their license for like a year or two.
00:49:19.000
I was about to go get some, but my uncle is a drinker.
00:49:37.000
And then you got to cut your expenses as much as you can.
00:49:47.000
You don't even deserve to drink, to be honest with you.
00:50:03.000
Yeah, and I was making money and I wasn't escaping anything.
00:50:10.000
So if you're really down where he is, it's like a breather from that fucking...
00:50:15.000
from all the heavy life stress, baby mama, no money.
00:50:26.000
Especially if you got a son, you got to set an example for that brother.
00:50:38.000
The other thing I was going to say, too, bro, with the booze, you just got to quit that shit cold turkey, man.
00:50:47.000
And the problem is that it's easily accessible and it's legal.
00:50:55.000
So you don't have a driver's license right now?
00:51:08.000
How long is your license suspended this time around?
00:51:15.000
It's certain conditions that I have to meet to get my license back.
00:51:23.000
Basically, I just have to, like, save up money.
00:51:27.000
And then when I get the car, I need to have SR22 insurance.
00:51:31.000
And then after that, if I don't, like, miss anything or have any problems, then I can get my license back in, like, 10 months or, like, close to a year.
00:51:41.000
You can drive with the breathalyzer in the car pretty soon.
00:51:52.000
How much does the average Uber driver make in Chicago?
00:51:56.000
I don't know if the Uber driver, the Uber wants a guy with a breathalyzer on that.
00:52:10.000
Chicago Uber drivers report an average earning of $25 an hour.
00:52:14.000
This is according to ChatGBT, so don't be out here, like, fact-checking me, man.
00:52:18.000
ChatGBT say, you know, that bitch be lying sometimes.
00:52:22.000
I guarantee you, man, like, we've all been there at some point.
00:52:31.000
I know you got EBT. Whatever you gotta do, EBT be flipping that shit for cash outside of Jewel Osco.
00:52:43.000
And you're at that point where you're 30. You don't want to be 42, 45 working for $12 an hour.
00:52:50.000
So you got to quit the alcohol, get your stuff dialed now, and get the short-term handle.
00:52:55.000
But in the long-term, you want to be thinking, how can I increase my earning power?
00:53:04.000
And then, I mean, look, we see the massive inflation that's happening, right, where they're printing tons of money.
00:53:09.000
If you have assets and you have stocks, it inflates your assets, but it literally just punishes the working class.
00:53:21.000
You don't want to wait a few more years, five more years.
00:53:27.000
Yo, the only way to really come up, you got to make more money than you spend and invest the difference.
00:53:32.000
If you do that over a long period of time, you will have money.
00:53:36.000
His biggest problem, he has an earning problem.
00:53:39.000
Yeah, you got an earning issue, but you ain't going to save yourself because you make too little.
00:54:46.000
I appreciate y'all for, you know, hosting that.
00:54:50.000
I'm the guy that lost all that weight, if you remember me, Myron, from that.
00:55:14.000
I got two children, and I got an internship I got to get 12 hours a weekend.
00:55:20.000
And the thing is, I'm kind of losing sleep doing homework, doing, you know, 12-hour shifts a day and stuff like that.
00:55:44.000
But I also got to use one or two days out of that week to get my 12 plus for my internship.
00:55:52.000
I mean, look, man, if you got to forego a few hours of sleep, right, to kind of achieve your dreams, then you just got to do it.
00:55:58.000
I would say, look, man, what I've come to realize is, I mean, we've done the math with Brandon plenty of times on how much hours you have in a week.
00:56:04.000
The reality is, bro, is like, I guarantee you there's places you could cut hours from that will allow you to sleep more, bro.
00:56:09.000
You don't have to, like, I think sleep should be one of the last things you cut just because you won't be able to work as well as it reaches havoc on your body, your health.
00:56:16.000
But, you know, there's 186 hours in every week.
00:56:20.000
You work in 40, and then you said another 12, right?
00:56:30.000
Okay, with his work and his internship, he's at...
00:57:11.000
Obviously, you got to shower shit, but you ain't spend a whole bunch of time in the bathroom.
00:57:29.000
That means no TV. That means no fucking around.
00:57:32.000
That means, like, you know, like, the reality is, bro, is like, you guys have the time to do the shit that you guys want to do.
00:57:37.000
It's just that y'all don't want to give up dumb shit.
00:57:43.000
Bro, y'all have to start, if you're in the situation where you damn bad, like some of these guys, and this is what I started to do.
00:57:47.000
I started planning every hour, every day in my calendar.
00:57:53.000
And what's gonna happen is, man, you'll get so much more done.
00:57:56.000
Throughout the day, throughout the week, you'll start lapping motherfuckers, man.
00:58:05.000
You'll start, you'll get, you'll look at, other people will look at you and they will be astonished at how, like 90 days from now, if you all started just tracking, just planning out every hour, every day.
00:58:23.000
Tell him how bad it is, like, just really sell him on.
00:58:25.000
Make sure you gotta sleep, man, because you're like an expert on this shit.
00:58:32.000
If I sleep more, I can get stuff done in half the time.
00:58:35.000
When I'm low on sleep, I just don't function as well.
00:58:45.000
It's probably gonna fuck him up a little bit, right?
00:58:46.000
It's 70% of your testosterone is produced during sleep.
00:58:49.000
So if your sleep is compromised, your testosterone levels are gonna dip.
00:58:52.000
And then your emotional regulation is gonna be compromised.
00:58:59.000
I haven't seen very many case studies of someone sleeping less.
00:59:04.000
I mean, I even found, even if you leverage ChatGPT, you get so much more productivity with ChatGPT.
00:59:09.000
You can talk to ChatGPT, flesh out your thoughts, get certain notes.
00:59:19.000
And look, bro, keeping it real, Brandon's right.
00:59:22.000
The time that you take to do certain things, you can cut off.
00:59:27.000
Nigga, anymore than that, you're wasting time that good.
00:59:35.000
Look, I promise you, if you take 168 and you start minusing, like, hours of the shit that you do, you're gonna find that you do a bunch of fuck shit that you shouldn't even be doing, bro.
00:59:46.000
And some of these people, they have these crazy long text conversations with their girlfriends.
00:59:49.000
They're texting their girlfriends all the time.
00:59:56.000
I remember, even in the podcast, you had to tell me, yo, chill with the bitches.
01:00:09.000
Literally, bro, start putting out your entire schedule and have every hour planned.
01:00:12.000
You're gonna see how much time you waste doing dumb shit.
01:00:15.000
Literally, you'll be shocked at how much time you spend on TikTok or Twitter or Instagram just surfing the web.
01:00:25.000
I ended up deleting my social media like a year ago, at least six months ago, just because I noticed that was taking up a lot of time as well.
01:00:34.000
But I also started day trading and just learning things behind that.
01:00:40.000
So that's what takes a lot of my time as well, just learning things about that.
01:00:47.000
You got to focus on your internship and the shit right now that you need to get done, bro.
01:00:52.000
It looks good, but nigga, the real truth behind trading is, man, if you're the guy making the course, you win.
01:00:59.000
Everybody I know who makes a lot of money trading, they make money doing something else.
01:01:05.000
Because they're using money that they could afford to lose, right?
01:01:11.000
They're not as emotionally attached to each trade.
01:01:13.000
What's the difference between a box of pizza and a trader?
01:01:28.000
Stay focused on what you know is going to earn you money.
01:01:32.000
Look, you want to do some trading on the side, that's fine, but bro, that's something you can do when you get more time.
01:01:37.000
And you're going to get that time by hopefully getting a higher earning job.
01:02:10.000
I was going to say, I appreciate the content I make.
01:02:22.000
And one of my biggest things is I'm at a point now, situational-wise, I'm doing a lot of stuff consistently, which usually would be harder for me.
01:02:31.000
But I guess since I'm in a situation where my back is against the wall, it's easier for me to do.
01:02:34.000
And I know when my situation gets better, I don't want to lose that drive I have.
01:02:42.000
Yeah, so how can I hold consistently and hold the drive even when your situation gets better?
01:03:02.000
And I think he's well-suited to tell you this, right?
01:03:04.000
Because some people try to use this to hate on you, but I think it's...
01:03:09.000
Okay, I came from a real bad background, so I had a lot of pain.
01:03:12.000
It was either that or go super hard or survive, right?
01:03:19.000
And I think it's more difficult to work hard under those circumstances.
01:03:23.000
He was born into the situation you're talking to, and he still goes super hard.
01:03:30.000
For example, when people ask me, man, what are you going to do for your son?
01:03:33.000
How are you going to teach him to be hungry like you?
01:03:35.000
I always think, fucking Greg still did it, so I know it can happen.
01:03:41.000
I think you're well suited to answer that question.
01:03:43.000
Yeah, I mean, honestly, it comes down to if you want it bad enough, you put in the work.
01:03:48.000
So if you pick a goal that excites you, and you get very, very goal-oriented, you write down where you want to be, and you have the confidence and the self-belief that you can actually do it, then motivation is very, very, it just comes.
01:04:09.000
Once you have momentum, you don't want to lose it.
01:04:17.000
And I think a lot of people make mistakes because when things move slow, they get frustrated.
01:04:31.000
And you want to enjoy the small little wins along the way.
01:04:34.000
So for me, building my business for making a couple hundred bucks a month, it was like a video game.
01:04:40.000
I want to get to the next level, the next level.
01:04:42.000
And so you want to give yourself that pat on the back.
01:04:45.000
But I see a lot of guys lose motivation because they just focus on a goal that's so far away and they don't enjoy the small little goals in front of them.
01:04:58.000
Did you learn a lot of that, like, from your dad?
01:05:00.000
Yeah, he was, I mean, my dad and everyone that knew him just told me he was very goal-oriented.
01:05:07.000
Even when I was a kid, he would tell me, write down your goals, write down your goals, pen to paper.
01:05:11.000
There's something magical that happens when you, not just type or go on your phone, but get a piece of paper and a pen and write that down clearly what you want to achieve.
01:05:29.000
Everything I wrote in my journal from back in Chick-fil-A days happened.
01:05:40.000
On some real shit, you know, it's like you got a son, right?
01:05:46.000
So one thing that helps me is I'm thinking I got to be the example for him.
01:05:51.000
And your son is young right now, but when he gets older, he thinks you're the man now because, you know, his dad's all he knows, right?
01:05:58.000
But when he's older, he's going to be looking at, like, other, there's going to be other people who may have more influence than you unless you're the man.
01:06:06.000
Like, unless you, you know, some kids look at their dad like, oh, man, I ain't listening to this thing.
01:06:10.000
You know, some kids, some kids, like, because they fat losers and shit or they broke boys or whatever, you know, they poor boys.
01:06:17.000
They want to look up to you like you're the superhero.
01:06:19.000
So I think about, man, what kind of motherfucker do I have to be?
01:06:25.000
Well, tell the story when you went to parent-teacher conference with your son.
01:06:30.000
So I went to parent-teacher conference with my son.
01:06:44.000
And this chick, one of the kids' moms, she was talking about her son, and she said, she said, She said to him, so he said to his dad, Carter's dad is so strong.
01:07:00.000
I just don't want to tell his name to everybody.
01:07:09.000
And I was just like, other kids are saying this shit.
01:07:13.000
And when I go there, man, the kids want to jump on me.
01:07:17.000
They want me to pick him up because he's seven.
01:07:23.000
You know, like at the, I'm like, the other day has this fat and shit, but I'm doing shit with the dads, you know?
01:07:28.000
And it's, I'm doing it with the kids, I'm sorry.
01:07:31.000
And it's like that shit kind of sticks with them, you know what I'm saying?
01:07:36.000
They see how other, children are very receptive.
01:07:39.000
Like my father, like, you know, everyone in the Sudanese community always looked at my dad as like the leader, right?
01:07:47.000
Like, I grew up watching my dad be like the leader, right?
01:07:49.000
He's the president of the Sudanese Association in Connecticut.
01:07:51.000
So like, I would always see other people defer to him and ask him for advice.
01:07:56.000
If there was ever a problem, they'd contact him.
01:08:00.000
So I was like, you know, I grew up seeing my dad as like this guy.
01:08:04.000
And I think that's very important, especially on sons.
01:08:06.000
We're like, damn, I kind of want to be like my father.
01:08:12.000
They're going to find a role model and it may not be one that you want.
01:08:54.000
I think you need to focus on setting an example for your sons.
01:09:01.000
Because I think what Greg said, he said it was like a game, right?
01:09:07.000
And a lot of times when people are doing shit for the money or any goal, they hit that goal and then they stop doing what got them there and that's when they fall off.
01:09:17.000
It's gotta be about, like, setting the fucking standard for yourself.
01:09:21.000
Setting the standard for your family, your legacy.
01:09:23.000
And the money's just a byproduct of that, right?
01:09:29.000
Like, most of these motherfuckers out here trying to see...
01:09:31.000
They're trying to see how much they can get away with.
01:09:35.000
But if you, like, really are trying to push yourself, trying to see, man, what's the...
01:09:51.000
And the fact that you even asked, like, how can I stay motivated?
01:09:55.000
Means, like, probably your social circle is pulling you down.
01:09:59.000
Because this isn't a conversation successful people have with each other.
01:10:05.000
So you might be around people that are, you know, much more apathetic.
01:10:17.000
So, like, with my situation, so I've been, like, currently homeless, like, with my family for, like, the past, like, two weeks.
01:10:23.000
And I managed to keep the tent up and just keep doing everything I need to do.
01:10:34.000
You worry about, yo, man, what happens when I get too successful?
01:10:42.000
How do I keep the motivation when I get too successful?
01:10:54.000
I just mean like, yo, we spent way too much time off this, man.
01:10:59.000
I mean, did anyone here have to ask for motivation?
01:11:03.000
Listen, we don't even have to answer this question no more, man.
01:11:07.000
You should have all the motivation in the world, my nigga.
01:11:12.000
Bro, when I was in my car, nigga, I was hustling, bro.
01:11:23.000
Like, just remember, hey, man, you're not that far removed from that tent.
01:11:32.000
If you're over here asking us for motivation while you're homeless...
01:11:37.000
It's just like, you know, the drive you have when you're getting through.
01:11:40.000
Like, after I got out of a homeless situation, you're backing up the wall.
01:11:44.000
Bro, if you're saying how to stay motivated or, you know, getting...
01:11:51.000
Like, motivated in general, but you're homeless?
01:11:55.000
Maybe you deserve to be a fucking loser, if I'm gonna be honest here.
01:11:57.000
Maybe you do, and I gotta keep it real with you.
01:12:09.000
I don't think you understand that you're in a do-or-die position right now.
01:12:12.000
The fact that you're even asking about motivation when you're homeless, the fuck is wrong with you?
01:12:19.000
You're either going to adapt and change and put a roof over your head, or you're going to be a loser.
01:12:27.000
You've got to pick which one you want to be in.
01:12:33.000
I don't even know why you have cheer in your voice.
01:12:37.000
You should literally be angry at yourself for even being homeless.
01:12:41.000
Maybe you need someone to wake your dumb ass up.
01:12:51.000
When kids make fun of each other on the fucking playground and say, you broke, you live in a cardboard box, that's you!
01:13:09.000
Myron cares, because most people wouldn't even care to tell you this information.
01:13:18.000
Get the fuck off the phone and get another job.
01:13:35.000
Because beforehand, I was living with her parents, and then there was an argument, and they had put us out.
01:13:40.000
So while we're in the process of getting an apartment, We're just staying in a hotel until, like, we get department, like, going through the application process and everything.
01:13:54.000
Bro, I don't even know why you were relying on your girlfriend's family to house you anyway, bro.
01:14:03.000
Like, why would you even rely on your girlfriend's parents to house you?
01:14:10.000
It was a situation to where like when that baby thing happened erratically and having to move out, we ended up moving there because we didn't have nowhere to go in that situation.
01:14:20.000
So when I got the job, it was from one place to the other.
01:14:23.000
So we were in the process of looking for a apartment.
01:14:25.000
Like an argument happened between and then they had to go out.
01:14:29.000
We were already in the process of getting an apartment.
01:14:37.000
Bro, I remember when I was making seven bucks an hour, bro.
01:14:58.000
And never rely on your girlfriend's family to take care of you.
01:15:15.000
Like, that's already an L having to depend on her family to take care of you, bro.
01:15:29.000
Bro, never rely on somebody else to house you, bro.
01:15:37.000
Never ever rely on someone else to fucking house you, bro.
01:15:41.000
So you understand and get a reality check that no one's gonna fucking come save you.
01:15:44.000
You dumb monkey ass thought you were gonna be safe living with your girlfriend's family like a fucking idiot.
01:15:51.000
This is what you get for not being self-reliant.
01:16:10.000
He probably looked at you like, you're a fucking leech, bro.
01:16:12.000
This nigga eating all the fucking gummy bears and shit.
01:16:24.000
You said I didn't even want you in this house, nigga.
01:16:28.000
Nigga, eating the Lunchables in the house and shit.
01:16:36.000
You can't even properly take care of his fucking daughter, bro.
01:16:40.000
Never ever rely upon someone else, bro, to house you.
01:16:47.000
Next time, your name on the lease, nobody else.
01:16:50.000
It is your responsibility to fucking take care of yourself and your woman.
01:16:53.000
And if you can't do it, maybe you don't deserve a woman.
01:16:58.000
You gotta start making better decisions, brother.
01:16:59.000
This whole shit sounds like a series of bad decisions, man.
01:17:02.000
You got pregnant at 21, then you moved in with a parent.
01:17:07.000
If you want your future to be better than your present, you gotta start making better decisions now, man.
01:17:13.000
Because we're all living the results of our past decisions.
01:17:16.000
Once you get your place, you should call up her dad and say thank you for fucking helping me not be a piece of shit bum.
01:17:21.000
You did the right thing kicking your dumb ass out, bro.
01:17:23.000
You a grown ass man living in another man's house.
01:17:27.000
Now get your shit together and get in the fucking house, bro.
01:17:47.000
I watch a lot of y'all content, you know, try to take the gyms for it.
01:17:52.000
And then I want you to call her dad and say thank you for getting your fucking ass to work harder.
01:17:59.000
If you got some more daughters for us, man, let us know.
01:18:14.000
We got a lot of people on the line, probably, right?
01:18:16.000
We probably got to start speeding through these because it's already 941. Oh, yeah, it is.
01:18:40.000
I used to like having sex with your women back in the 90s, man.
01:18:44.000
I've been looking at you guys for about four years.
01:18:47.000
Yo, hit us with a question, bro, because we got a lot of people probably waiting, so go ahead, man.
01:18:52.000
So, I'm 31, and I own two barbershops, and I have a supply store as well.
01:18:57.000
And I feel like it's time for me to step my foot in real estate.
01:19:01.000
So I'm just wondering to get y'all the input on that and see how you guys think about that since you guys are into real estate.
01:19:10.000
Are you trying to invest in Texas, I'm guessing?
01:19:21.000
Right now, the cash on hand, I have about $30,000.
01:19:27.000
I got a couple bank accounts separated, but right now...
01:19:29.000
Are you trying to live in the house, or are you gonna put 20% down?
01:19:38.000
That's one of the hottest real estate markets in the country, bro.
01:19:40.000
But you can invest in, like, other states, you know?
01:19:42.000
You could invest in other states if you want to.
01:19:43.000
All my real estate is in other states, like the Midwest.
01:19:46.000
I always tell guys, though, for their first house, you probably want to...
01:19:50.000
Do it close to home so you can see it, go through the process, everything.
01:20:04.000
But yeah, $30,000 is nothing in your area, bro.
01:20:07.000
You literally are one of the hottest real estate markets in the country.
01:20:15.000
So you need savings to manage that as well when things go wrong.
01:20:17.000
Now, if you got 30K and you said, I'm going to live in it, that's different.
01:20:20.000
Then you could go in and put your 3% down or whatever and get an FHA loan as your first-time homebuyer.
01:20:24.000
But since you're trying to buy as an investor, that means you're going to need 20% down, bro.
01:20:28.000
And that means a house in Austin, a single-family home, probably going to run you somewhere between $300,000 to $400,000 easily.
01:20:43.000
What if, like, I wanted to invest in, like, duplexes or something like that?
01:20:50.000
Like, a single family is going to cost you, like, $300,000 to $400,000.
01:20:52.000
You want to get a duplex, that's going to be in the fives and sixes.
01:20:56.000
In the Austin area, unless you're going to go somewhere else, maybe San Marcos or, you know, New Braunfels or something, but you're still going to have to put a couple hundred thousand down.
01:21:04.000
Now, if you want to live in it, that's different.
01:21:05.000
You want to live on one side and rent out the other side, you could do that.
01:21:08.000
Bro, you're almost damn near better off getting another barbershop.
01:21:11.000
But 30k, bro, 30k, you're going to have to live in it for a year, bro.
01:21:31.000
How much liquid do you, because I asked him how much liquid does he have.
01:21:35.000
Man, honestly, if I would add it up together, I'd probably have close to like $70,000.
01:21:55.000
I mean, prices are going down now because interest rates went up.
01:21:57.000
But you are by far in one of the most popular areas, bro.
01:22:01.000
So, unless you want to go in the Midwest, like Brandon said, you could get some houses for like...
01:22:19.000
Either A, save more money and buy a house 20% down as a investor.
01:22:24.000
Or buy a duplex or triplex, live on one side, and then buy it with your 3.5% to 5% down.
01:22:43.000
Dude, just get a fucking duplex and live in it, bro.
01:22:52.000
Live in a property, make it work for a year, and then you can move out after, bro.
01:23:07.000
Buy it as your first home and living it for a year, bro.
01:23:10.000
Don't fucking say you live there and you don't.
01:23:16.000
You didn't hear from me, but them boys be really selling some tacos.
01:23:23.000
I mean, bro, there's taco trucks everywhere in Texas.
01:23:30.000
Alright, we're trying to find a duplex or a triplex and put that 5% down, bro.
01:23:33.000
That's what I would do if I were in your shoes, man.
01:23:38.000
Look at New Braunfels, look at San Marcos, and look at all over Travis County.
01:23:45.000
Alright, so blacks is 0 for 3, Mexicans is 1, 1 and 0. Alright, who's up, Max?
01:24:05.000
I think what he wants to know is, did she have like a black name?
01:24:38.000
It's like, oh man, what time you brush your fucking teeth every...
01:24:41.000
I'm like, motherfucker, I don't know what time I brush my teeth every time.
01:25:05.000
And they should be starting at like 100K or so.
01:25:09.000
And I've already fucked off like $300,000 on cars and computers and shit.
01:25:14.000
So I'm wondering what would be a good first investment?
01:25:18.000
Because at the job, I'm not going to have much time to actually work with this investment.
01:25:24.000
So it has to be something that profits on its own.
01:25:29.000
It's got to be something that profits on its own, right?
01:25:34.000
It's a profit, so you need to make money, like, every month off it?
01:25:37.000
Do you need cash flow, or are you looking for appreciation?
01:25:42.000
So the contract I'm signing is for four years, so I really just need something that's going to...
01:25:55.000
Appreciation of the asset is more important than cash flow?
01:25:59.000
Yeah, because after the four years, that's when I really start using that money.
01:26:04.000
What kind of return are you looking to get, player?
01:26:09.000
What kind of return are you looking to get, player?
01:26:15.000
So I'd say if I could drop like $20,000 on it, I'd want like at least a grand back a month from it.
01:26:24.000
It doesn't have to be because that's the way you described it.
01:26:27.000
That's cash flow if you want a grand a month, right?
01:26:30.000
So the money could come at the end, but I just want to put the money in something like that.
01:26:46.000
So you want to invest 20K and get about 12K back a year?
01:26:59.000
So he wants 12K back a year on his 20K. What the fuck?
01:27:06.000
Like, so I was looking at Section 8, but, you know, houses aren't that cheap, and the job I'm going to be doing, I don't have time to be calling people, making sure the house is straight.
01:27:18.000
You're gonna have to buy crypto to get that kind of return.
01:27:20.000
Yeah, you're gonna have to be super aggressive, you know?
01:27:31.000
Like, if you could get a 10% cash on cash return on real estate, that's really fucking good in this market, bro.
01:27:43.000
How much liquid do you have in the first place?
01:28:09.000
You're going to have to do speculation-type investing for that type of shit.
01:28:37.000
Your car collection, how many do you have right now?
01:28:47.000
Currently, we're sitting at two because this job, I'm going in and getting rid of them.
01:28:51.000
Yeah, dude, the car marketplace was hard because I lost money as well, so I understand it's 100%.
01:28:59.000
If I do, bro, I would sell the cars, put that money towards crypto at least, or real estate eventually, but I don't know what cars are, what the value is.
01:29:06.000
Yeah, I mean, bro, I'll be honest with you, man.
01:29:08.000
You gotta be more realistic about these returns, man.
01:29:17.000
Come on, you knew he was black when he said he blew 300,000 cars, man.
01:29:24.000
Like, yo, you acting like a stupid monkey right now, bro.
01:29:27.000
Like, 300K? Like, spending it on cars and dumb shit like that, thinking that you're gonna get a wild return on 20...
01:29:34.000
Look, if you want that type of return, you're gonna have to go into cryptocurrency or things that are far more volatile, which means there's a high likelihood that you might lose money in the process.
01:29:47.000
So, bro, I mean, if you want something more stable, obviously real estate, index funds, you're gonna get...
01:29:55.000
Because my thing is, I just don't want to do the property management site.
01:29:59.000
You only pay him like 10% of the rent per month.
01:30:19.000
I mean, 30 minutes from D.C. gets pretty hood, though.
01:30:24.000
I'm in the only part of Maryland that's not the ghetto.
01:30:27.000
I'm riding in Baltimore, Baltimore to the right, and D.C. to the left.
01:30:31.000
Yeah, bro, you're going to need more than $50,000 to buy real estate out there, bro.
01:30:34.000
If you wanted to get into real estate, you could do it in a different part of the country.
01:30:39.000
That's what I do, and I just have property management.
01:30:42.000
I saw they had houses out there, like, new ones for less than $100K. Like, we're talking built in 2020. Yeah, man.
01:30:49.000
Listen, I mean, it depends on where in Georgia.
01:30:56.000
And you ain't nothing but tractors and shit, you know?
01:30:59.000
It ain't all looking like a Young Jeezy video, you know?
01:31:08.000
So, are you still hung up on getting the, you know, 55% a year return?
01:31:14.000
No, like, there's no specific number of return.
01:31:16.000
It's just like, that'd be cool to get that, but if it's not possible, it's not realistic.
01:31:26.000
You make more money, you spend, and invest the difference.
01:31:29.000
Over a long enough period of time, you'll have a lot of money, right?
01:31:32.000
But you gotta, you can't get these crazy, if you chase these crazy returns, you take a lot of risk, man.
01:31:44.000
So I guess I'll look into the crypto and look into some properties and see what I can do with that.
01:31:48.000
But with the crypto and stuff, bro, don't put nothing in that you're not willing to lose.
01:31:52.000
I don't want you fucking jumping off a balcony like these people here in Miami, bro.
01:31:56.000
Ethereum goes down 500 bucks and niggas lose their minds.
01:32:01.000
I've got a way better bet with Charlie and Miguel.
01:32:03.000
And stop spending your money like a dumb fucking idiot, man.
01:32:10.000
Well, in his defense, though, everyone lost money during the car.
01:32:13.000
That's why you should never spend money on cars.
01:32:35.000
Your mind doesn't think in long term of building wealth at 24. I get it.
01:32:42.000
But that's the main reason I'm going to the government job, because it's going to be like how I made the money.
01:32:48.000
But the government's going to be way more stable.
01:33:00.000
Yo, I'm glad you're not doing what you was doing to get that.
01:33:12.000
You might want to leave, man, because of the ops.
01:33:46.000
You sound like he building something in the back room, man.
01:33:49.000
Like he doing construction or something in the back.
01:33:57.000
I only called in because Brandon said back to his 0-3.
01:34:15.000
But I super chatted saying I would work like 91 hours a week.
01:34:20.000
And I was asking you, like, what's a little sour hustle I could do to make like an extra, you know, probably like a couple hundred dollars a month, grand a month.
01:34:36.000
Well, with that accent, you could go ahead and sell some bacon, egg, and cheese, man.
01:35:10.000
So, what'd you do to kind of expand after that talk?
01:35:17.000
What'd you do differently after that phone call?
01:35:21.000
So, I remember you saying something about something online.
01:35:26.000
So I was looking up like different online businesses like dropshipping, maybe other things like print on demand, like just different things I was just trying to learn about.
01:35:49.000
I just wanted to get more of your take on that because you said it was a bad mindset and thinking like that.
01:36:05.000
So the problem is that a lot of people tune into the idea that, you know what, it should be fast, a micro mentality, which means you should get this result right away, which I understand, you know, young generation, that's what they go towards.
01:36:16.000
But, honestly speaking, bro, you gotta try different things, because even myself, bro, I tried affiliate marketing, I tried e-commerce, I tried, what else, friggin' selling on eBay, all the stuff I tried.
01:36:30.000
I made some money, but I didn't really excel at it.
01:36:33.000
But trying it made me understand what I'm good at and what I'm not.
01:36:36.000
So, in order for you to actually make money online, you're going to try different things.
01:36:39.000
Like, Brandon, I'm sure you didn't start doing...
01:36:52.000
I did a bunch of shit, but I always went back to training in some capacity.
01:37:00.000
I tried a bunch of different shit, and it took me a minute to figure out how to make money online as a trainer.
01:37:06.000
So your first one may not be a big bang, bro, but you gotta try different things.
01:37:09.000
And look, if you don't know, watch someone on YouTube that's done it for years, read what they say, apply it, the free stuff, and then if you get some value, buy the real stuff afterwards.
01:37:19.000
Yeah, fuck with somebody's free shit, you know?
01:37:24.000
Dude, there's money out there, and you know how I know there's money out there?
01:37:26.000
Niggas are buying cars, a million dollars plus, every day.
01:37:38.000
And she fucking buys shit from like thrift stores or fucking store and like fucking dollar stores and shit.
01:37:48.000
And she has like a storage unit and she gets it all there and then sells it on Amazon.
01:37:54.000
Like there's a lot of different ways to make money, man.
01:38:57.000
Especially seeing that Greg and Brandon are on.
01:38:59.000
Like, this is something I've always been meaning to call in.
01:39:03.000
This is a fitness-related question, though, so is that okay, or should I just skip?
01:39:13.000
I've been watching you for years, since the beginning.
01:39:15.000
The videos you were making in Canada, like, 10 years ago, and it's crazy that I've even been talking.
01:39:21.000
I was going to ask, how do you deal with, like, the...
01:39:28.000
The demoralizing aspect of cutting weight and losing strength and muscle when you just got done with the bulk, if that makes any sense.
01:39:47.000
You shouldn't be losing much strength and muscle if you're cutting correctly.
01:39:52.000
So most people, they want to cut, they overdo it.
01:39:58.000
Some people actually train, change their training style.
01:40:02.000
So when they're bulking, they're lifting heavy, then they're cutting and they're, they're doing higher reps, lighter weight.
01:40:07.000
So if you're doing the cut correctly, you shouldn't be losing much strength.
01:40:12.000
So you want to be able to maintain it 90% of your strength from transitioning from bulking to cutting.
01:40:19.000
But you will lose some strength and a little bit of muscle.
01:40:28.000
I've been watching your videos for years, so I do a lot of weighted pull-ups, chin-ups, overhead press, all that.
01:40:33.000
I got my overhead press to 185 for 5, all that crazy stuff.
01:40:37.000
But I've been cutting for a couple weeks now, and I just see the strength loss just already happening.
01:40:44.000
Maybe I'm going a little too aggressive, but...
01:40:46.000
Yeah, you're probably going a little too aggressive, and you want to just remove that from your head.
01:40:51.000
Some people, they actually think, oh, I'm doing a cut, I'm going to lose muscle, I'm going to lose muscle, and that is not productive.
01:40:57.000
You can maintain your strength and muscle cutting, especially if you're not at your genetic peak.
01:41:02.000
If you're someone that's doing 80-pound incline dumbbells, there's no reason you should be losing strength.
01:41:11.000
If you bulk too aggressively and you're at a much higher body fat than you should be, there's a leverage advantage to being heavier.
01:41:19.000
So that strength you have at 200 pounds isn't quite real.
01:41:23.000
Absolutely, if you're doing weighted pull-ups, your weighted pull-ups should be getting stronger.
01:41:35.000
If your strength dips a little bit, don't overthink it.
01:41:38.000
And the reality is you're going to look so much better when you get lean.
01:41:48.000
And so you have to change the mental mode when you're cutting.
01:41:51.000
Stop focusing as much about, oh my god, I can't lift 205 pounds.
01:41:55.000
I'm only doing 195. Focus on how your veins are popping out, how your face gets more chiseled, your waist is coming in.
01:42:04.000
Because when you're at lean bulking, you're thinking about what you're losing when you cut.
01:42:09.000
I mean, look, if I get very, very lean, I'm obviously going to be a little bit stronger.
01:42:14.000
At 175 versus 180, I'm going to be a little bit stronger at 180. But you shouldn't be losing 20% of your strength.
01:42:30.000
Lately, you've been talking about the lower volumes.
01:42:34.000
I've been doing two workouts a week and about incline, bench press one week or one day for the upper body.
01:42:42.000
Then the second day, I'll do overhead press or something.
01:42:45.000
I try to cut down the volume, like three to four sets per workout.
01:42:50.000
It should be a bit more than three to four sets per workout.
01:42:52.000
It should be like 10. No, but I'm doing twice a week upper body.
01:43:00.000
For chest, one week, and then back, the same thing.
01:43:07.000
And then, again, you can always build strength.
01:43:09.000
If strength dips, you can always build strength later.
01:43:18.000
I mean, the only time I get steroid accusations is when I cut.
01:43:23.000
When I get very lean is when I get that, like when I'm 172. Your physique, when it gets to a low body fat, your chest looks very square.
01:43:40.000
It looks like you have more size when you're actually smaller.
01:43:45.000
He's smaller than a lot of the people who competed against, but obviously he was extremely lean and had a good genetics.
01:43:51.000
When you train bitches, they'd be worried about their...
01:43:57.000
Ass or titties getting smaller, but I'd be like, nah, man.
01:44:02.000
Right now you look like a motherfucking two-liter.
01:44:08.000
So the ass may not be as big, but it looks better.
01:44:26.000
Like I'm fresh and fed, I've been watching for the last couple of years.
01:44:31.000
I remember watching back then, like 10 years ago, and training together and stuff like that.
01:44:36.000
Now they're just like here together, and I'm calling in.
01:44:39.000
And the last tip is it's good to change movements.
01:44:42.000
If you've been doing very heavy barbell benching and you've hit a plateau...
01:44:48.000
It could be a machine press, dumbbells, just something fresh, and that will help you mentally on the cut.
01:45:07.000
Don't be discouraged, bro, because your pushing strength almost always goes down when you cut.
01:45:13.000
My pulling, I noticed that it never affects my pulling, but it's the pressing.
01:45:26.000
Don't be one of these guys that does the fucking dance where, oh, I don't know why you keep cutting, and puss out.
01:45:30.000
Just see the cut all the way through, get lean, see what your body looks like, then you can build from there, just like Greg said.
01:45:38.000
So because you're losing weight, your strength per pound is increasing.
01:45:45.000
Yeah, pound for pound, you're getting stronger.
01:45:46.000
So don't worry about the strength dip too much.
01:45:53.000
But, you know, if you're doing it right, so commit to the cut.
01:46:00.000
You see guys who don't want to cut and all of a sudden they turn into powerlifters.
01:46:03.000
Oh, I'm a powerlifter now because you don't want to cut.
01:46:07.000
Brandon, you don't get enough credit for how lean you are.
01:46:13.000
You never let yourself kind of go a little bit?
01:46:16.000
I do, for decades, I do, I call it micro cuts in bulk.
01:46:23.000
So first you cut, get as cut as you want to get, and then bulk until I feel like my abs start to look...
01:46:31.000
The biggest I've ever been was 214. I'm like...
01:47:11.000
If you're still drinking weak corporate coffee, you're doing life wrong.
01:47:15.000
$17.95 coffee is for men who actually stand for something bold, strong, unapologetically American.
01:47:22.000
It's a visual coffee of rumble, roasted fresh, not woke ESG garbage, whole bean ground, or pods.
01:47:36.000
And every dollar enters you to win a Cybertruck and 30K in cash.
01:47:52.000
Yo, listen, you drinking that bullshit-ass coffee.
01:47:59.000
Next thing you know you drinking that bullshit for long enough, you drinking Starbucks long enough, you gonna be sucking dick.
01:48:06.000
You need some of this motherfucking 1775 coffee.
01:48:13.000
And you'll be instantly confronted with enough adrenaline and enough courage to make James Bond look like a homo.
01:48:52.000
I'm sending it now because you're a fat ass going to say something later.
01:48:55.000
I don't know, Colonel, I guess you guys got beef.
01:49:05.000
I'm confused because Bill's going to say nothing.
01:49:07.000
One just says, Debbie Brandon Carty changed my life and marriage being in your HCT online custom fitness trainer business.
01:49:14.000
Those of the clients I have are the fittest they've ever been in years.
01:49:17.000
Just in my first five weeks of 2025, made over 11K on the side of my 80-hour workweek trucking job.
01:49:26.000
My homie, I'm going to see you tomorrow on the HGT call.
01:49:32.000
He works 80 hours a week trucking, and he still started his online fitness business, and he's making money.
01:49:40.000
Download the free e-book if you want to learn more about it.
01:49:45.000
Brandon Carter, my dog, and a homie, Bruce Wayne.
01:49:55.000
And then Dark Knight Majin says, shout out to One Chest the Goat making a name for himself with the CC community.
01:50:12.000
The Dark Knight says, Sup, FNF, I want to give my thanks to you guys.
01:50:15.000
And Brandon, I'm 20 years old and I just bought my first G-Shock watch.
01:50:17.000
Got my second job working for Amazon and now I'm stacking up cash looking to go to trade school to obtain a skill.
01:50:22.000
I'm thinking of becoming either a power lineman or an electrician.
01:50:33.000
I'm a CC, can't figure out how to donate there.
01:50:35.000
First caller needs to look at enrolled agent certification.
01:50:44.000
Question, how bad is straight bar incline bench for me, considering I recently recovered from a type 2 slap tear from incline bench?
01:50:52.000
I mean, I would be very, very careful if you have an injury.
01:50:58.000
Do something you feel better on, like, dumbbells or machine press.
01:51:15.000
Alright, so guys, we are going to have Avdars for you guys tonight.
01:51:19.000
I think we're gonna start at 11-ish, hopefully.
01:51:38.000

01:51:46.000

01:51:54.000

01:52:13.000
I did that specifically on the days y'all not on.
01:52:20.000
