On this episode of the Gankin In The Building, Myron and I talk about how we got started in content creation and how we started making money from it. We also talk about Diddy and how he got started with content creation.
00:11:39.000And he had $800 for that month, his first month.
00:11:43.000But what sparked my brain, because once again, I come from a hustler mentality, his car payment for his Hellcat, which is an $80,000 car, was $800.
00:11:51.000So I was like, dog, you did this for one month, just sitting around doing these videos, you got enough money to pay for an $80,000 car?
00:12:33.000Once again, I'm like, $150, if I do it every day, times 30. See, as men, whenever we make money, we're like, okay, we do it 30 days in a month, we can bank this shit out.
00:13:16.000So, when you were coming up as well, obviously speaking, you saw what it could do with the money and obviously the freedom, but what made you say, you know what, I'm going to go all in, because for me, example, right?
00:13:28.000I did short vlogs during the day with my dog, of course, in the car.
00:18:42.000So YouTube is the hub because it's the marketing central spot for creators.
00:18:46.000I would argue that with YouTube, you get more reach organically.
00:18:49.000Because obviously it's Google, search engine, you type it in, your videos come up.
00:18:53.000Granted, though, if you're a streamer like you said before, Twitch would be your main thing because Twitch gives you a lot of live feedback.
00:18:59.000You get subs, you get memberships, all that stuff, and emotes.
00:19:02.000That's a huge thing for people that are live streamers and their audience.
00:19:05.000Granted, though, let's say you're more of a long-form content person.
00:19:08.000You can use YouTube or Facebook for content.
00:19:11.000And it's because Facebook has a lot of payouts.
00:20:11.000If you're in that algorithm, you're good.
00:20:12.000If you got a lot of kid followers and things like that, and you're kid-friendly, your algorithm go through the roof and your shit get pushed more.
00:26:15.000But I always wanted to do something like that, how they do with like shoes and all that shit and really go to them, break it down and tell all the inside of it.
00:26:21.000Interview the jewelers and rappers like what type of change they got.
00:26:24.000No one really did that shit the way I do it, you know what I'm saying?
00:27:35.000My ex-chick was a lawyer, so I had a certain thing written up for every time we get something that I can get it back, if I sell it back for the same price I bought it for, that they signed every time I buy a piece of jewelry from this particular guy.
00:31:35.000Because Rumble's a platform that if you've got free speech on your mind, that's your whole shtick where you want to say what you want to say without any bars being held back, Rumble's the way to go.
00:32:45.000I got three books I put out, but that's the first book I put out because everybody kept asking me how did I make so much money so fast because I did these things.
00:36:26.000But at the same time, you want to live your life and you've got to feed the business.
00:36:31.000So if your business is the content, You must divulge enough money into it to make it grow.
00:36:36.000And that, at the same time, can be shaky, too, because the more you put into your content, into your business, if the assets shift on you, and you still got to maintain that life, if you've got to...
00:37:04.000So we've got a lot of creators that Are still in their same crib.
00:44:47.000And then a year and a half later, we're at, I think we're at like what, 500, no, 400K subs and making 10X that money off of just AdSense alone and then chats.
00:45:17.000God is not going to bless nobody who's afraid.
00:45:19.000The only thing you should be afraid is of God.
00:45:21.000So if you're scared, you're with the devil chilling.
00:45:24.000If you believe and you believe in me and I gave you life and all this thoughts in your brain, nigga, you ain't going all in, you ain't believing what I put in you, you ain't going to be blessed.
00:45:32.000When you say, fuck it, okay, I believe in me, I believe in God, let's go.
00:46:24.000And see who his right-hand man is, the robot man himself.
00:46:27.000So, as someone watching right now, this could be a way for you to save your future legacy because if you build a brand and you start making content, you control your destiny.
00:47:09.000But if you build something that people are connected to and they recognize that, they recognize the attributes you brought to this earth, they connect with you, they'll continue to push you forward.
00:47:17.000So having your own shit is that important.
00:47:19.000From content to clothing to a service, anything of that.
00:53:12.000Once you have something of your own, bro, like once you look at how much these companies make, you look at the Hellstars, you look at all these Amiris, and they all came from a creator.
00:55:17.000Thing here that I was told from somebody very important, very high up, is if you can somehow build a business or build a product-based service now, while AI is still in its infant stages, you build it to a certain point, you sell it in the future, it'll be way more profitable because now,
00:55:34.000especially with how companies are going, AI's going, it's like a click of a button.
00:55:38.000You've got a company, you've got a business, like that.
00:55:40.000We can do it from now, from the start, from the seed, sell it later on.
00:58:58.000And at the same time, it's like you have appreciation for it because you're going to need that help from God when it go up and down because that comes too.
00:59:35.000So what happens is when you're a creator, you start getting employees, you know, start getting certain issues and people talking shit about you.
00:59:43.000It's all going on and you're running the ship yourself.
01:06:43.000So we got $3,500 from the first deal with the cars, then $3,000 from the other one, then $10,000 from my bookie, then $30,000 from Voltino.
01:11:10.000Being in our industry, we see other industries, like, for example, football players, basketball players, rappers, and usually they'll, like, rent shit.
01:11:18.000They don't own shit, they'll rent it, or they'll be like, oh, let me borrow your chain real quick, bro.
01:17:03.000LeBron didn't sign when Nike grew his own shit for them 20 years and had his own brand and where that would have been.
01:17:09.000Just imagine if Jordan had his own shit, if all these people had their own brands and built it up, how must that be worth?
01:17:14.000You're getting fed pennies when you had all the big dollars.
01:17:17.000But now, going forward with the NILs and all that, these young boys are going to get that money and know how to really take it to the next level.
01:17:23.000Because it's very important to know what to do with the money when you get it, you know?
01:17:26.000And then, last point here, how does someone...
01:18:08.000If you've got a thousand posts on your page, I don't give a fuck, you only got a hundred views, but if you post it every day, a motherfucker gonna recognize that like, dog, this dude going crazy.
01:18:18.000But either one, you gonna pay or you put your grind in.
01:18:20.000So AMS had a metric where, like, for example, if you were a new creator coming to collab with him, He needs to see at least 20 videos of you making the same type of content and not stopping.
01:18:30.000Nah, not 20. At least, I think it's 20 or 30. Who said that?
01:18:34.000It might be a little bit more, but like, uh, AMS.
01:18:53.000Because you spent all that time and effort, all that pain and suffering to get to where you're at, and then say, oh, I'll just collab with this person and make it to where you're at.
01:19:22.000And on top of that, too, know the person.
01:19:25.000What can get you in the door and I'll be real and I'll give you all some game is don't come up to a person like me like, Organic, I fuck with you, man, but how'd you get where you at?
01:20:08.000Yeah, just after your point as well, I would say for collaborations, too, if you do the work long enough and you're not consistent, they're going to find you.
