00:21:20.000 And we are live.
00:21:21.000 What's up, guys?
00:21:21.000 Welcome to Freshman Podcast, Man Money Monday.
00:21:22.000 We're going to be talking about credit and getting your credit on point as a beginner.
00:21:26.000 Let's get into it.
00:21:26.000 Let's go.
00:22:17.000 We are live.
00:22:18.000 What's up, guys?
00:22:18.000 Welcome to Friendship Podcast, man.
00:22:20.000 Regular edition.
00:22:20.000 It's Money Monday, man.
00:22:21.000 We're going to be talking about...
00:22:22.000 Credit cards.
00:22:23.000 Credit cards.
00:22:23.000 I think this is going to be our first episode for the year, I think, with credit cards, man.
00:22:27.000 It's been a minute since we've done one.
00:22:29.000 As you guys know, it doesn't get as many views because people don't really care about being financially illiterate.
00:22:34.000 They care more about girls and other stupid shit like that.
00:22:37.000 It doesn't matter.
00:22:38.000 But quite frankly, guys, if you don't have your financial things in order, it's going to create a lot of problems for you where women will be a quick...
00:22:48.000 A distant second or third or fourth or fifth in place if you don't have your money on point, man.
00:22:53.000 So you've got to have your money on point, guys.
00:22:55.000 It's very critical, and obviously credit is a critical component to that because if you live in the United States or England or any of these first world countries where credit is a thing, if you don't have your credit score on point, you're absolutely going to suffer consequences, especially when we live in a U3-based debt society.
00:23:13.000 So, look.
00:23:14.000 I wish it wasn't that way, but that's how things are.
00:23:16.000 Everything is based on credit and credit scores.
00:23:19.000 So whether you want to build wealth or you want to have a good credit score in itself or a combination of the two, you need to be able to figure this situation out.
00:23:28.000 Speaking of on point, when you spend money with your credit card, you get points.
00:23:32.000 So if you want to mess with girls for free, you can use your points to travel, hotel room, do what you got to do.
00:23:37.000 But again, credit is important, man.
00:23:39.000 So you can make it work either way.
00:23:40.000 Just saying.
00:23:42.000 But you know what's scary nowadays?
00:23:43.000 Debt is at an all-time high.
00:23:45.000 Credit cards, car payments, properties, people are like drowning in debt.
00:23:50.000 And the worst part is Americans don't know what to do.
00:23:53.000 And it's scary because you can Google right now how to get out of debt, what cars to get.
00:23:57.000 But if you don't have habits to actually maintain that or get rid of debt right away, then you're going to be stuck at that point.
00:24:02.000 So we're going to cover today the top five beginner credit cards you can get as a beginner, get your score up.
00:24:07.000 But then again, guys, you've got to remember, you've got to spend it wisely.
00:24:09.000 Because if you don't spend it wisely...
00:24:11.000 You'll lose all that income and also, as well, be in massive debt.
00:24:13.000 Very important.
00:24:14.000 Yeah.
00:24:15.000 So, I guess, do you want to discuss first why it's important to have this on point?
00:24:20.000 Yeah.
00:24:20.000 So, pretty much, guys, you've got to keep in mind, credit cards are the beginning foundation for most people.
00:24:25.000 And I say that because you can go buy a property, for example, get a car, but you need credit at the very beginning.
00:24:31.000 So, you start with a small credit card.
00:24:32.000 It could be either a pedal one.
00:24:34.000 Or like a city cash, one of the beginner ones, and then build your score that way.
00:24:38.000 But of course, you want to have a score that's going to be good because you get lower interest rates as well as better ratings for rental properties or, for example, even cars itself.
00:24:46.000 But at the very beginning, you have probably a low score of zero.
00:24:50.000 For most of you, though, you might have a 300 score, 250 score, which kind of sucks, but your costs are somewhere.
00:24:55.000 I'll say this because everything here in life that we live in, in America especially, is credit-based.
00:25:00.000 So at the foundation for your future, this should be a very important point for you because, again, your parents might not have a good credit score, maybe your family, but if you start the process of ball rolling, you can change that entire path for your family and for yourself.
00:25:12.000 So some tips you can use from the very beginning is if your members have good credit, for example, your grandmother, your mom, or your auntie, even your uncle, and they trust you, they can put you on their credit card, you can get points that way as well.
00:25:25.000 So imagine this, right?
00:25:26.000 They have an 820 credit score.
00:25:28.000 Super high score.
00:25:29.000 It raises like 310.
00:25:31.000 They put you on your credit card.
00:25:32.000 You become an actual authorized user.
00:25:35.000 Now what's going to happen is once time passes, let's say between 2 to 5 months, you get a boost in your score because now they see that you're on their credit as well as an authorized user.
00:25:45.000 And if you're responsible and not blowing it like you should be, it's going to raise your score immensely.
00:25:49.000 And it's a little hot you can use with your family members or people that trust you.
00:25:52.000 But if you don't have that, you can do it as well.
00:25:55.000 Organically.
00:25:56.000 But again, to me, if you can use that as a benefit, why not?
00:25:59.000 Because even for me and myself coming to America, I had a zero score.
00:26:02.000 But my auntie was really good at using her credit card and using it for points.
00:26:06.000 So they would travel the world, actually, using hotels and Marriott and different places using points only.
00:26:13.000 So they didn't spend any cash.
00:26:14.000 So imagine that.
00:26:15.000 You're traveling, hotel stay, and sometimes food and resort fees are used with points.
00:26:21.000 Not even your own money.
00:26:22.000 So that's a W in itself.
00:26:23.000 But again, guys, Credit cards are important for your future and for your real-time, for example, payments, for example, rental properties, rent itself, and as well, cars.
00:26:34.000 But we'll get into the first one coming up here.
00:26:38.000 What's the first one here, everybody else?
00:26:39.000 Discover It card.
00:26:41.000 Which one is it?
00:26:42.000 The first one, right?
00:26:44.000 Here we go.
00:26:44.000 Student cashback.
00:26:46.000 So if you're a student, man, this is a card you can get.
00:26:48.000 Out the gate.
00:26:49.000 You don't need to have an annual fee either as well, but it has a lot of benefits for you as a beginner card.
00:26:53.000 And it'll match your cashback as well, pretty much.
00:26:56.000 Alright?
00:26:57.000 5% cashback.
00:26:58.000 So you earn 5% cashback on everyday purchases in different places.
00:27:01.000 Typically speaking, guys, you want to have a card that's going to be stable and not have a mixed match, for example.
00:27:06.000 Some places give you points for gas alone, or for example, maybe shopping at a certain store or restaurant.
00:27:13.000 But if it's stable, it's better for you because you don't have to worry about where to shop.
00:27:17.000 But this one's not bad at all.
00:27:18.000 Of course, the stores, restaurants, gas stations, and more.
00:27:21.000 Unlimited cashback, so you can spend as much as you want and never worry about not getting cashback.
00:27:27.000 So that's pretty good.
00:27:28.000 And it matches it for unlimited.
00:27:30.000 And then zero fraud liability.
00:27:32.000 So again, guys, use your debit card, gas station, they take your information, and then bam, you're in trouble.
00:27:37.000 But this card, fraud is taken care of as well.
00:27:40.000 And then apply now, and then the requirements here.
00:27:44.000 No annual fee, which is pretty good.
00:27:45.000 Limited dollar to dollar match.
00:27:47.000 And again, more points as well.
00:27:50.000 So now buy a card at the very beginning.
00:27:51.000 But Discover itself, I'm not a fan of, but for you, it might be actually good.
00:27:58.000 So the other thing also, guys, that's important to know when it comes to these credit cards, right, is the beginner credit cards are going to notice they're not going to have as many perks as other credit cards when you have a higher credit score.
00:28:15.000 The thing is that the higher credit score, the better the credit card you can get with your credit score.
00:28:22.000 So if you want to get an Amex, Platinum, etc., which we're going to cover when we do travel credit cards for you guys.
00:28:29.000 But now when it comes to beginner credit cards, you're going to have to kind of...
00:28:32.000 You should be lucky at all if you're able to get any credit cards that give you any kind of benefits in the beginning because the way they look at it is...
00:28:40.000 Getting a lot of perks on a credit card, that's a perk of having a higher credit score because then they can trust you with giving you more benefits, giving you higher credit limits, etc., because you are someone that's trusted with a higher credit score, right?
00:28:51.000 Your credit score is nothing more than your worthiness and your ability to borrow money and then be able to actually pay that money back.
00:28:58.000 The lower your credit score, the less worthy you are to pay your debts back.
00:29:02.000 That's what it simply breaks down to.
00:29:04.000 And I would say once you get into below 700, guys, that's when you start to get into territory where it's going to be a little bit harder for you to get these really good credit cards.
00:29:12.000 Now, yes, you'll be able to get basic credit cards, but if you actually really want to build your credit score up and get yourself to a point where you're able to get these actually good credit cards, you're going to need to break into the 700 range, and then more importantly, you're going to have to break into the 720 plus range to get the good cards.
00:29:27.000 But to get yourself into that position, you're going to have to start with beginner credit cards, hence why this episode is so important, because...
00:29:32.000 A lot of you guys might be in a position where you have no to low credit, and you want to be able to kind of get yourself in a position where you can get these better credit cards.
00:29:38.000 Now, I don't anticipate that you're going to want to keep these credit cards long term, or actually utilize them long term, once you get your credit score to an actual good point.
00:29:46.000 But, you know, you've got to start somewhere.
00:29:47.000 And for a lot of you guys that have lower credit scores, this is going to be imperative for you to build your credit up.
00:29:51.000 So let's go back real quick to that Discover It card real quick.
00:29:54.000 Now, the Discover It card, guys, we've talked about this card literally for years, since we've been doing this series for you guys.
00:29:59.000 It's always been a very good starter card for y 'all.
00:30:04.000 because there's different options with it now as you guys could see The reason why we're showing you guys the website is because the offers always change.
00:30:11.000 You guys are going to notice that what we're showing you right now might not necessarily be the offer in a year from now, or even a couple months from now, because the credit card offers are always changing because credit card companies are businesses at the end of the day, and they've got to be able to stay appealable and competitive, so they're always changing their terms of service.
00:30:27.000 So right now, we are on the website, so you guys know the actual terms of services right now as we're recording this on April 28th, 2025, okay?
00:30:34.000 And the discovery card, as you guys know, This is a card that a lot of people utilize in the beginning.
00:30:40.000 There's different options.
00:30:41.000 Typically, there's a secured version and an unsecured.
00:30:43.000 The secured version typically is where you're putting money into it, and it almost acts as a debit card, right?
00:30:50.000 And then after a period of time, when you pay it off and you show that you're trustworthy, then you can go ahead and move it to unsecured and then use it as a credit card.
00:30:59.000 That's one of the benefits of a Discover card.
00:31:01.000 Now, the problem with Discover, and I think Fresh alluded to it a little bit, was...
00:31:06.000 Discover isn't as widely accepted everywhere, and it's a bit more of a niche card.
00:31:11.000 You know, going international with this card might be a little bit difficult because a lot of places don't accept Discover, let alone...
00:31:17.000 Hold on, someone's calling me.
00:31:18.000 Can you...
00:31:18.000 Yeah.
00:31:19.000 Also, Discover, man.
00:31:20.000 Okay, so I got an issue with Discover.
00:31:21.000 Just keeping it real here.
00:31:23.000 I had a friend that we were at the same site building our credit score up.
00:31:28.000 Hit a Discover card.
00:31:30.000 What happened was, there was a dispute.
00:31:32.000 The dispute was pretty much a simple charge that wasn't anything that he did.
00:31:36.000 And he called them and said, listen, Discover, this is what happened.
00:31:40.000 Charged on my account.
00:31:41.000 It wasn't me.
00:31:42.000 You know what they told them?
00:31:44.000 We're going to investigate.
00:31:44.000 I'll get back to you within two to five business days.
00:31:48.000 Five days came.
00:31:49.000 They didn't do shit.
00:31:50.000 They said, listen, bro, basically, you're stuck with this charge.
00:31:54.000 So to me, Discover, man, I'm not going to hold you, bro.
00:31:56.000 From what I've seen from them.
00:31:57.000 Customer service sucks.
00:31:58.000 But at the same time, like Myron's saying, it's not widely accepted card everywhere because Discover is a niche card, like I said.
00:32:04.000 So probably in America, certain places you can use a card to benefit from it.
00:32:07.000 Yeah, a lot of places are not going to accept Discover.
00:32:09.000 Again, this is why I tell you guys, like a card like this, this is a card you want to get, get your credit score up, and then quickly segue off.
00:32:16.000 You know, a bit more advanced.
00:32:18.000 I'll tell you guys, you want to have one MasterCard at least and one Visa.
00:32:21.000 Visa and MasterCard are by far the most widely accepted.
00:32:24.000 Discover, even American Express, they're not as widely accepted.
00:32:28.000 So, you got to, you know, obviously keep that in mind.
00:32:31.000 Like, I would not have a wallet full of nothing but Discover cards.
00:32:34.000 That's going to probably be problematic.
00:32:35.000 I was in France.
00:32:36.000 I used Visa card.
00:32:37.000 Perfect.
00:32:38.000 Yeah.
00:32:39.000 So, Discover, guys, not as good.
00:32:42.000 But when it comes to...
00:32:43.000 Builder credit cards, beginner credit cards, the Discover is one of the best.
00:32:46.000 I can't even really talk smack when it comes to beginner and builder cards.
00:32:52.000 The Discover is absolutely good, especially since you're able to get the secured or the unsecured versions of this.
00:32:58.000 So a lot of you guys might not even be able to get a credit card.
00:33:01.000 At least you can go ahead and get yourself a secured credit card, which a secured credit card, like I said before, you put money on it, it behaves like a debit card.
00:33:07.000 And then once you get to a certain point, you can go ahead and segue and turn it into a credit card and unsecured.
00:33:13.000 Okay, so that's a good way to get yourself in, especially for you guys that have no to low credit.
00:33:19.000 Good way to get your foot in the door.
00:33:21.000 And then in this case, going back to it real quick, it looks like they've actually upped some of the things where you're able to get fucking cash back, which is wild to me, because for a very long time, you weren't able to get cash back on this card.
00:33:31.000 So it looks like they've increased it where you get 5% cash back on everyday purchases at different places you shop each quarter, like grocery stores, etc.
00:33:38.000 So it might be where, okay, there's a calendar.
00:33:40.000 Okay, what that means, Chad, let me explain this for you.
00:33:43.000 What this means is it rotates.
00:33:45.000 So one month you might get 5% cash back on grocery stores.
00:33:48.000 Another month you might get 5% cash back on gas stations.
00:33:51.000 Another day you might get 5% cash back on dining.
00:33:54.000 So pay attention to the calendar.
00:33:56.000 They typically do this where it rotates.
00:33:58.000 I'm not a fan of credit cards like this that do rotating like this, but hey, with a credit card like this that has a very low requirement to get in...
00:34:05.000 You know, that's a plus for you guys because most of the time these beginner credit cards have no perks.
00:34:09.000 So the fact that they've actually added in a cashback perk to a Discover card is very...
00:34:15.000 That's very interesting.
00:34:17.000 And that's good.
00:34:17.000 That's good because before it used to be, hey, nigga, just be happy that you got a credit card in the first place.
00:34:21.000 Yo, back in my day, bro, we didn't have this, man.
00:34:23.000 No perks at all.
00:34:24.000 Think about this.
00:34:25.000 All we had was pay on time, nigga, and that was it.
00:34:27.000 And that's it.
00:34:27.000 That's it, bro.
00:34:28.000 Damn!
00:34:29.000 You'd be lucky if you can even get anything.
00:34:32.000 Go back up real quick with this thing.
00:34:34.000 Let's see what else they got here.
00:34:37.000 Unlimited cashback match, which is good.
00:34:39.000 Okay, get unlimited dollar for dollar match on all cashback you earn at the end of your first year automatically.
00:34:44.000 There's no limit to how much we'll match.
00:34:46.000 So you could turn $50 cashback to $100.
00:34:48.000 You could turn $100.
00:34:49.000 Okay, so basically they won't jip you out because a lot of times they'll expire it or say, oh no, up to this amount we'll match cashback.
00:34:57.000 And then fraud liability, this is like...
00:35:00.000 A no-brainer.
00:35:01.000 Like, that's the whole purpose of using credit cards is so that you can go ahead and call, you know, if you feel like your card is being used fraudulently.
00:35:07.000 But, you know, I guess they got to make that a perk because, again, for beginners with credit cards, they don't, you know, they're not used to this liability.
00:35:15.000 A lot of people, guys, believe it or not, are idiots and still use debit cards to purchase a lot of their stuff.
00:35:20.000 And a lot of times when you use a debit card, you don't get the same protection as you would with a credit card.
00:35:23.000 So there's a selling point to a lot of, like, you know, idiots out there that are not financially...
00:35:28.000 I'm aware, but I tell you guys all the time, one of the biggest reasons why you need to use a credit card for everything is quite literally because of fraud liability.
00:35:35.000 And as you guys know, I talked about this a lot, fraud is one of the fastest growing crimes in America, okay?
00:35:41.000 Scammers, you know, credit card skimmers, all these people.
00:35:45.000 Fastest-growing crime.
00:35:46.000 And the reason why is because these criminals are understanding that violent crime, robbery, and drug trafficking, quite frankly, gets you a lot of jail time.
00:35:52.000 But stealing credit card information and scamming doesn't get you as much time.
00:35:55.000 So what ends up happening is a lot of these crooks are moving from drug trafficking into basically credit card trafficking, which is them stealing your identity, stealing your card information, charging things.
00:36:06.000 Man, I can't tell you guys how many times I've had it where I look at my credit card statement and I see like a $10,000 expense.
00:36:12.000 For a designer.
00:36:13.000 And I'm like, what the fuck?
00:36:14.000 Like, I don't wear nothing fancy.
00:36:15.000 What's going on here?
00:36:16.000 And I'll look, and it's like an expense out in LA somewhere.
00:36:19.000 I'm like, what the hell?
00:36:20.000 It wasn't me.
00:36:21.000 Yeah, I know it wasn't you either.
00:36:22.000 But like, I'll look, and I'm like, what the hell?
00:36:24.000 So I'll call Amex, and I'll say, yo, this wasn't me.
00:36:27.000 And I'm like, oh, no problem.
00:36:28.000 And they get rid of it immediately.
00:36:29.000 But, guys, this is the new normal.
00:36:31.000 Like, literally, fraud is one of the fastest ways for crooks to kind of get over on you.
00:36:37.000 With that happening, I think people need to adapt to and be prepared for the new normal where people steal your identity and they use your cards and charge things.
00:36:44.000 It's happened to me.
00:36:45.000 I can't tell you how many cards I've had to replace.
00:36:47.000 Like, every two or three months, guys, I have to replace my credit cards because it's so goddamn prevalent where people are stealing information.
00:36:52.000 So, that is a big perk of using credit cards versus debit cards is the fraud liability, man.
00:36:58.000 Huge.
00:36:58.000 Huge.
00:36:58.000 I'll give you that as well.
00:36:59.000 Even here in Miami.
00:37:01.000 Rental yachts.
00:37:02.000 Cars.
00:37:03.000 I'm like, wait, hold on.
00:37:04.000 Can you rent a car for 30 days straight with a credit card?
00:37:07.000 Come to find out?
00:37:08.000 Fraud.
00:37:10.000 So, it's a real thing.
00:37:12.000 Take your information.
00:37:13.000 But what I will say is, the liability fraud helps a lot.
00:37:16.000 Yeah, man.
00:37:17.000 It's huge, guys.
00:37:18.000 And in the next 10 years, it's only going to get worse.
00:37:20.000 So, you know, they're marketing it to the normies out there that don't know that that's a big deal because most Americans use cash or use debit cards like morons.
00:37:29.000 But yes, guys, using credit cards, another big thing besides the points is the liability, which almost every credit card company is going to have.
00:37:36.000 That zero fraud liability, where if your stuff is being used fraudulently, you can absolutely crawl in and get it fixed.
00:37:41.000 Actually, if you're smart, guys, if you hear what we're saying here, your career path, cybersecurity could be big, because now, with all this hacking going on, all this fraud, cybersecurity is going to be at an all-time high.
00:37:50.000 So, good career path.
00:37:52.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:37:53.000 All right.
00:37:54.000 So, now we'll go into the pedal.
00:37:56.000 So, I'm glad to see that the Discover It has actually given you guys some perks now.
00:38:00.000 Now you get a rotation of stuff.
00:38:03.000 So the pedal, this card is good, guys.
00:38:05.000 Actually, this was not on the list, but we decided to add it in ourselves.
00:38:08.000 Yeah, pedal one, pedal two.
00:38:09.000 And this is the pedal one, pedal two.
00:38:11.000 You guys know we've talked about this card quite a bit.
00:38:13.000 Very good card.
00:38:15.000 There's different versions of it, but this is a very good credit card builder.
00:38:19.000 If I'm not mistaken, is this one a Visa or a MasterCard?
00:38:21.000 I believe this is Visa, or am I wrong?
00:38:25.000 It's a Visa?
00:38:26.000 They're changing it all the time.
00:38:30.000 Or is this one like brand?
00:38:33.000 Nah, it's gotta be one of the major ones.
00:38:35.000 Hmm.
00:38:37.000 Okay, let's go to the perks real quick while Fresh looks that up.
00:38:39.000 So, again, we're on the website here.
00:38:41.000 So there's different versions of it, guys, right?
00:38:45.000 You guys see here, there's the Pedal 1, the Pedal 2. Yeah, Visa.
00:38:48.000 And then the Pedal 1 Rise.
00:38:49.000 It's a Visa?
00:38:50.000 Okay.
00:38:51.000 So let's go with the Pedal 1 first.
00:38:53.000 So it goes, annual membership is, what, 50 bucks?
00:38:55.000 Or zero?
00:38:56.000 So this is actually Rise.
00:38:58.000 This is like a...
00:38:59.000 Plus to the 1?
00:39:00.000 So 1 and 0. I'm going off of 1. So 1 right now, it's a $0 annual membership fee, which is good.
00:39:06.000 And then you got cash back of 2 to 10%.
00:39:08.000 APR, 28% to 33%.
00:39:11.000 Which, by the way, all credit cards are going to have that APR, guys.
00:39:15.000 This is why I tell you guys, pay it off in full every month.
00:39:17.000 You shouldn't be paying the interest.
00:39:19.000 And then you can obviously increase the limit, and then the Petal 1 Rise.
00:39:24.000 Annual membership is $59, right?
00:39:27.000 Yep.
00:39:27.000 Cashback is 2-10%, variable APR, same exact thing.
00:39:30.000 This one probably gives you more perks.
00:39:32.000 And then the Petal 2 is annual membership, no fees of any kind, 1-1.5% cashback, variable interest rate.
00:39:40.000 So as you guys can see, each card has different benefits.
00:39:43.000 Typically when there's an annual membership, it means that you get more perks.
00:39:47.000 Yeah, but these are designed to actually help you build credit on your way up.
00:39:50.000 That's why they have paths to credit limit increase.
00:39:52.000 So these are made for you to start at the very beginning and build yourself up.
00:39:56.000 Again, though, secure cards are a thing, but these are even better because you can get benefits as well.
00:39:59.000 Yeah, so let's go ahead and go to the pedal one first, right?
00:40:03.000 Right.
00:40:03.000 So access to credit begins here, right?
00:40:05.000 So to start, rebuild, to last.
00:40:08.000 So with this one, right, you got...
00:40:11.000 Build credit without an annual membership fee, right?
00:40:13.000 So, an annual membership, guys, very common amongst credit cards, especially good credit cards, they'll charge you a fee basically to hold a card, right?
00:40:20.000 Like Amex, for example, charges you like $600 or $700 to have a fucking platinum, right?
00:40:23.000 Yeah.
00:40:24.000 Which might be a little OD depending on how much you use the perks.
00:40:27.000 A lot of these beginner credit cards, I'm a big fan of, you know, zero annual fee, especially for beginner credit cards.
00:40:33.000 I don't think you guys should be paying to hold on to a credit card.
00:40:36.000 You don't really want to be paying annual fees unless the card pays for itself and it makes sense.
00:40:40.000 But in this case, you got the Petal 1, right, where it goes 2% to 10% depending on what kind of card you get, when you get the offer.
00:40:47.000 And then the Petal 1 Rise, you know, you get an annual membership fee of 59. I'm assuming the Petal 1 Rise has significantly more benefits where they're charging you an annual fee.
00:40:55.000 And then the cashback can also range between 2% to 10%.
00:40:59.000 So if you scroll down, then it gives you the different perks.
00:41:02.000 So let's see here.
00:41:04.000 So you can get a cash back near you.
00:41:08.000 Keep going.
00:41:08.000 I think also with this card too, the app is what helps you because it keeps track of all your spending.
00:41:11.000 You can track your credit score.
00:41:13.000 Which by the way guys, again, most credit card companies, when you get a credit card with them, they will give you a credit score tracker with an app.
00:41:26.000 So that will allow you to do it.
00:41:28.000 But yeah, if this is your first credit card, it will allow you to do that.
00:41:30.000 So then it shows you the different benefits, right?
00:41:31.000 So you got pedal one, pedal one rise.
00:41:33.000 You got the benefits, right?
00:41:35.000 So you can use that as like merchants with the cashback.
00:41:38.000 No foreign fees.
00:41:39.000 That's actually good.
00:41:40.000 So foreign fee, guys, is if you go to like, let's say you go to Europe, right, and use this credit card, they're not going to charge you a foreign transaction fee, which is very common among a lot of cards.
00:41:47.000 Yeah.
00:41:48.000 I would argue that most cards are going to charge you.
00:41:50.000 Yeah, most of them will charge you, yeah.
00:41:52.000 Travel cards typically will not, but yeah, that's good that this beginner credit card is not charging you a foreign transaction fee, which is good.
00:41:58.000 And then the Milestone Gold MasterCard, so I guess that's like their premier card here, the highest version of this.
00:42:05.000 So you can use it all transactions, and then it has a variable rate of 35%, which that makes sense.
00:42:10.000 But this one does not give cash back.
00:42:14.000 Let's see here.
00:42:15.000 That seems pretty high, though.
00:42:18.000 Yeah, there's got to be some other perk then if they're not giving you cash back.
00:42:23.000 Seems like it kind of sucks, bro.
00:42:24.000 Damn.
00:42:25.000 Might be.
00:42:26.000 I don't want that shit.
00:42:27.000 Oh, man.
00:42:31.000 Yes, the pedal one seems like the best one.
00:42:34.000 Pedal one.
00:42:35.000 Yeah, for the beginners.
00:42:36.000 Yeah, if I'm going to say.
00:42:38.000 By the way, we're not paid by them.
00:42:39.000 Yeah, none of these niggas are paying us, Chad.
00:42:41.000 We're just giving you guys the...
00:42:42.000 The sauce.
00:42:43.000 Yeah, we're just telling you guys, like, these are good beginner credit cards for you guys.
00:42:47.000 Obviously, in this case, you know, you get the Petal 1, no annual fee.
00:42:50.000 Get it fairly easily.
00:42:52.000 You probably get approved.
00:42:54.000 And this is a card that's used, and you can track your credit score as well, which is very important.
00:42:57.000 Well, hopefully you've been watching our show for four years plus, watching these credit card episodes, so you're not here.
00:43:01.000 But if you are, we got you guys still.
00:43:03.000 Oh, look, no credit.
00:43:03.000 No credit check required.
00:43:05.000 Wow.
00:43:05.000 Actually, Bills, go to take over real quick.
00:43:07.000 I have an actual chart of the credit score rating.
00:43:11.000 This is good because you don't even need a credit check.
00:43:13.000 You just get the card instantly.
00:43:14.000 That's good.
00:43:15.000 That's good.
00:43:16.000 So you get it given.
00:43:17.000 That's pretty good.
00:43:18.000 But typically, you need a good or fair score to get the other beginner cards.
00:43:22.000 So good and fair is between, I believe, 550 to like 650.
00:43:28.000 Here we go.
00:43:29.000 Someone in the chat said they got a 310.
00:43:31.000 That nigga's cooked.
00:43:32.000 Bro, you got a 310.
00:43:34.000 You can get the paddle, I think.
00:43:40.000 It happens, man.
00:43:41.000 You can rebuild, brother.
00:43:43.000 It's not the end of the world, but you're kind of cooked, bro.
00:43:44.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:43:46.000 But yeah, guys, this is the actual chart here from Fico's Arranges.
00:43:49.000 And again, this is pretty average, but below 580, bro, you're kind of cooked, bro.
00:43:54.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:43:55.000 So, yeah.
00:43:56.000 What do you normally owe when your credit score is that low?
00:43:58.000 Because you didn't pay medical bills, maybe, or credit cards in the past?
00:44:01.000 Anytime I've seen someone with a credit score that low, bro, they don't even know half the time.
00:44:05.000 Yeah.
00:44:06.000 They got something in collections that they didn't know about.
00:44:08.000 They got an ambulance they forgot about 10 years ago.
00:44:11.000 Bro, I was so scared about my credit score, bro.
00:44:14.000 I would check it every day on Credit Karma.
00:44:16.000 Every day.
00:44:16.000 FICO, Credit Karma.
00:44:17.000 And if it went down, I'd be like, what the fuck did I do?
00:44:19.000 Because I was anal about it.
00:44:20.000 Pause.
00:44:21.000 But I'll tell you this, though.
00:44:22.000 Your credit score by Liz Weston was amazing.
00:44:25.000 Because from 0 to 850, they broke it down.
00:44:29.000 How to do it.
00:44:30.000 When to do it.
00:44:30.000 And of course, if you're new to game guys for credit cards, it's tough because you don't know how you work in it.
00:44:36.000 But if you do it correctly, you can make it work.
00:44:38.000 And let me be clear about this, by the way.
00:44:39.000 Guys, all these credit cards that we're about to show y 'all are kind of trash.
00:44:42.000 I'm not even going to lie to you guys.
00:44:44.000 These niggas aren't paying us, so we can tell you guys the fucking truth.
00:44:47.000 A lot of these credit cards, these beginner credit cards, are fucking garbage.
00:44:49.000 But here's the thing.
00:44:50.000 A lot of you niggas got garbage credit scores, so we got to give you guys cards that you guys can actually get because you niggas are idiots with your credit.
00:44:56.000 Right?
00:44:56.000 Look, I got to give you a stern talking to a little bit.
00:44:58.000 The reason why...
00:45:00.000 We have to show you guys these cards that, quite frankly, I would never be fucking caught dead with in my wallet.
00:45:04.000 It's because a lot of y 'all niggas got sorry-ass credit scores or no credit, so we have to give you guys credit cards that you can qualify for, that you can get so that you can build your credit up.
00:45:13.000 This pedal shit, I ain't gonna lie.
00:45:15.000 Garbage.
00:45:16.000 But for someone that has no credit score, bro, you need this.
00:45:19.000 You need to start somewhere.
00:45:20.000 I'll give you one leeway.
00:45:21.000 Like the pedal one, for example?
00:45:22.000 You don't even gotta do a credit check.
00:45:23.000 You don't even gotta do a check.
00:45:25.000 That's crazy.
00:45:26.000 Scam Central.
00:45:27.000 Yo, that's crazy.
00:45:28.000 But I will say this, though.
00:45:28.000 If you were in an accident, And you need ambulance or fire service, and you didn't know, you needed to pay, you got a bill, and then they put it in delinquency, then you can cut because at that point, you lose your...
00:45:40.000 Yeah, but niggas will know what their credit...
00:45:42.000 But these niggas don't even check 9 out of 10 times.
00:45:43.000 True, true.
00:45:44.000 Like, USC or low credit score will be like, why is this?
00:45:46.000 And then if you go through it, it'll tell you something isn't collected.
00:45:48.000 You can call them, and they'll tell you, oh yeah, we got it from a hospital.
00:45:51.000 Yeah.
00:45:51.000 So, like, yeah, a lot of times people don't know, but not only do they not know, they don't even check.
00:45:56.000 Whenever I see someone, like, in the 400s or 300s...
00:45:59.000 It's like they got some delinquent and they don't even know or care.
00:46:02.000 I said yesterday.
00:46:03.000 I'm not paranoid about it.
00:46:05.000 Personal score.
00:46:06.000 Business score is different.
00:46:07.000 Well, that doesn't matter.
00:46:10.000 So yeah, guys, these cards that we're showing you, Secure It, Pedal, whatever, these cards are strictly for you to get your credit score to an acceptable level so you can go ahead and get a real card.
00:46:19.000 We don't want y 'all having this shit forever.
00:46:22.000 The goal here is, let's say you get to discover it.
00:46:25.000 You open it up, get your credit score up.
00:46:26.000 Once you get into the 700s, cool.
00:46:28.000 Then you apply, get a real credit card.
00:46:29.000 Now, really important, guys, really, really important.
00:46:32.000 Do not cancel that card, okay?
00:46:36.000 Don't do that.
00:46:37.000 A lot of you guys have done that shit.
00:46:38.000 Oh, yeah, bro, I'm just going to close out this card.
00:46:40.000 I don't need no more.
00:46:41.000 I got my score up.
00:46:42.000 Well, what happens is your credit history gets cut in half, and that drops your score.
00:46:46.000 So keep the old cards that got you to that point.
00:46:49.000 Do not cancel them, guys.
00:46:50.000 Right now, to this day, I still got this old-ass...
00:46:54.000 MasterCard with Van Gogh.
00:46:55.000 Niggas charged me $30 a year for it.
00:46:58.000 Useless.
00:46:59.000 But it's my oldest credit account, so I keep it open.
00:47:03.000 Also, keep in mind, you can have a credit card that you have for years, but if you don't use it within a year, it will close.
00:47:09.000 Guys, be careful.
00:47:10.000 So imagine this, right?
00:47:11.000 The card you have for years is one of your pinnacle things for building your credit score.
00:47:15.000 You have it in your repertoire.
00:47:16.000 It's there.
00:47:17.000 But, you know what?
00:47:18.000 You got new cards, so you put it to the side.
00:47:19.000 You don't use it for like a year.
00:47:21.000 Well, companies say, you know what?
00:47:23.000 We're not using it, so we'll take it off your credit completely.
00:47:26.000 You don't want that, bro.
00:47:28.000 Have it always be used either by a sister or a friend of somebody so that you can use it and keep it in your actual usage because if you don't use it, they will take it away and you will lose it.
00:47:36.000 So guys, also as well, man, with credit cards, yes, they may be old, but use them once a year at least so you can keep it within that range of having usage of those cards, at least.
00:47:45.000 I almost canceled an old credit card because of that.
00:47:48.000 If I didn't listen.
00:47:50.000 Yeah, yeah, that will mess you up.
00:47:51.000 Yeah, it will.
00:47:52.000 Do not cancel that whole credit card, guys.
00:47:53.000 So once you get this pedal or secure it or whatever, we laugh at you, you know, for having that poverty card.
00:47:58.000 That's fine, but don't cancel it, bro.
00:48:00.000 Hide that shit in your drawer somewhere, okay?
00:48:02.000 After you're done.
00:48:03.000 Yo, David, you bum-ass nigga, bro.
00:48:05.000 How'd I pay for fucking escorts with credit cards, nigga?
00:48:07.000 Are you retarded?
00:48:08.000 Nigga, shut the fuck up, bro.
00:48:09.000 He's talking about credit cards.
00:48:10.000 Bro, are you dumb?
00:48:12.000 Nigga, are you dumb?
00:48:13.000 What do you swipe on the butt crack?
00:48:14.000 You must be like, swipe?
00:48:16.000 How's that even work, bro?
00:48:17.000 This nigga dumb, bro.
00:48:19.000 Wait, who said that?
00:48:19.000 Niggas said I paid for escorts for fucking credit cards, bro.
00:48:22.000 Come on, man.
00:48:23.000 David Nero 1K, nigga.
00:48:25.000 Oh, David Nero.
00:48:25.000 That nigga's a hater, bro.
00:48:27.000 He's not a trap, man.
00:48:29.000 Bro, this is helping niggas with value.
00:48:30.000 We're talking about fucking escorts, nigga.
00:48:32.000 Bro.
00:48:33.000 Anyhow.
00:48:34.000 I wish you'd paid that, bitch.
00:48:35.000 We wouldn't be having all these headaches.
00:48:36.000 You scanned a chip on the butt crack.
00:48:39.000 In first pay, we wouldn't be having all these problems, nigga.
00:48:41.000 I'm not going to hold you, bro.
00:48:42.000 Coach was right.
00:48:43.000 Coach was right, bro.
00:48:45.000 It makes it easier.
00:48:46.000 Holy.
00:48:47.000 Alright, what's the next one, man?
00:48:48.000 Y 'all want to do the Pedal 2 as well?
00:48:50.000 Uh, Pedal 2?
00:48:51.000 Uh, bro, I'm not gonna hold you.
00:48:52.000 Pedal 2 sucks.
00:48:54.000 Pedal 1's the best one, bro.
00:48:55.000 I mean, like I said, just, yeah, the Pedal 1 is the best for the usage, like, for being a beginner.
00:49:02.000 Yeah.
00:49:03.000 So, yeah, man, get the Pedal 1, guys.
00:49:05.000 You want to move up to the Pedal 2, it might be the next way to move up, which is fine.
00:49:08.000 Yeah.
00:49:09.000 But the goal is, you don't want to be holding on to any of these cards more than two years, bro.
00:49:13.000 Like, the goal is to build up your credit where you don't need this shit no more.
00:49:16.000 Okay, what's the next card?
00:49:17.000 I pay it off every month if you can.
00:49:19.000 Okay, now we're on a Capital One card.
00:49:21.000 Expired.
00:49:22.000 That's a bad sign.
00:49:23.000 This one is the saver, right?
00:49:26.000 For students, yeah.
00:49:27.000 Okay, go over this one first.
00:49:29.000 Yeah, guys, so again, if you're a student, man, hopefully your parents bless you with a credit card and you're smart to use it.
00:49:35.000 But again, what happens is people go to parties, they buy dumb stuff, and they don't pay it off.
00:49:40.000 And then they wonder why when they're 25, 26, 27 years old, why are they not able to buy a house?
00:49:45.000 Because he didn't pay off a credit card in school.
00:49:47.000 But, let's look at this card right here as a saver.
00:49:50.000 So, it's a beginner card.
00:49:51.000 It's pretty basic.
00:49:54.000 Let's see here.
00:49:55.000 So much information.
00:49:57.000 Click the application.
00:49:58.000 That's the card itself?
00:49:59.000 Yeah, click the benefits.
00:50:01.000 Yeah, Capital One is a good company to go with.
00:50:05.000 My first credit card was Capital One.
00:50:07.000 Which one?
00:50:09.000 The Van Gogh one I told you about.
00:50:10.000 Oh.
00:50:12.000 We don't even know what the hell it's called, bro.
00:50:13.000 It's literally just a...
00:50:14.000 It was just like it had the Starry Night picture.
00:50:18.000 They change the names like every other cycle.
00:50:21.000 Same page, huh?
00:50:25.000 There we go.
00:50:26.000 Save reward for students.
00:50:27.000 Now, these student credit cards, guys, tend to be really good for building up your credit as well.
00:50:31.000 Another glitch for you guys is look at student credit cards.
00:50:34.000 Also, if you're on campus, it's perfect because now you can spend it on all amenities.
00:50:38.000 For example, the store.
00:50:40.000 Maybe, for example, a dinner spot there.
00:50:42.000 Or even, for example, you, which a guy is doing events.
00:50:46.000 And again, as usual, at least you get some cash back.
00:50:49.000 It does the bullshit rotating, which I don't like.
00:50:52.000 But again, for a beginner credit card, pretty good.
00:50:56.000 And for students, so obviously they're going to be sensitive to the fact that you might not have as much money, etc.
00:51:02.000 And then you can also get popular streaming services, zero annual fee, which is very good.
00:51:07.000 And then you get a $50 cash bonus, which is pretty damn good for a beginner credit card, bro.
00:51:11.000 Man, now they're making these beginner credit cards really good.
00:51:14.000 You know why?
00:51:15.000 Why?
00:51:15.000 They want people to be trapped.
00:51:17.000 Probably, yeah.
00:51:17.000 You start early.
00:51:18.000 You don't know how to use it properly.
00:51:19.000 Bro, I got none of these benefits when I started, bro.
00:51:21.000 They just gave you a credit card and said, you better pay it on full or else we're going to cook you with the interest rates.
00:51:25.000 They do those, bro.
00:51:26.000 Yeah, they do.
00:51:27.000 Yeah.
00:51:28.000 Okay, look at the rewards.
00:51:29.000 3% cash back, like you said before.
00:51:32.000 New card member offer.
00:51:33.000 $50 extra cash bonus.
00:51:35.000 That's not bad.
00:51:36.000 We got to spend $100 within 3 months of opening your account.
00:51:39.000 Actually, with my Chase Freedom of Card, I spent, I think it was like $1,000 within that month, or $500.
00:51:46.000 I got like $250 back.
00:51:48.000 That was pretty good, actually.
00:51:50.000 $50 for $100.
00:51:51.000 Not bad.
00:51:52.000 And then, what's the next category?
00:51:59.000 It's not a bad card, but again, I...
00:52:05.000 Ah, bruh.
00:52:06.000 These new cards, bro.
00:52:08.000 Yeah, no foreign fees, which isn't bad either.
00:52:11.000 If you travel for a school trip or something like that, not bad.
00:52:14.000 And then rewards don't expire.
00:52:16.000 Oh, that's a good one, actually.
00:52:17.000 So typically speaking, when you use a card, no matter what it is, there's a limit to the points itself.
00:52:22.000 You've got to use it for a certain category.
00:52:24.000 Good cards never take your points away, but, you know, like these middle-of-the-road cards that will.
00:52:29.000 So the fact that this is a beginner card and they will not take your points away is good.
00:52:32.000 And no foreign transaction fees is really good too, especially for you guys that want to study abroad and shit like that.
00:52:36.000 All you girls that want to be whores in Italy, you guys can go ahead and be whores without having to worry about transaction fees.
00:52:42.000 Also, hopefully you don't have a girlfriend, but if you don't have a girlfriend, you want to travel her, get your points.
00:52:48.000 But yeah, that's pretty good.
00:52:48.000 They don't take away your points at the very beginning.
00:52:50.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:52:50.000 Because a lot of them will take your points away.
00:52:52.000 Or they have blackout dates where you can't use your points on certain days.
00:52:56.000 This one might, since they're not mentioning it, might have blackout dates.
00:52:59.000 But no foreign transaction fees and then not taking your points is a big deal for a beginner credit card like this.
00:53:03.000 And cashback?
00:53:04.000 You can't beat it.
00:53:05.000 Yeah.
00:53:05.000 Bruh, this is crazy that these beginner cards give you guys perks.
00:53:08.000 What the fuck, man?
00:53:09.000 This is bullshit.
00:53:10.000 I want to see advanced cards now.
00:53:11.000 Bro, when I started with these beginner cards, like, oh, you didn't get none of this shit.
00:53:18.000 Bro, I think, well, actually, there's a video we're gonna play so you can see how bad- Also, it's because the credit card game is getting way more competitive.
00:53:25.000 Yes.
00:53:25.000 Also.
00:53:26.000 Yes.
00:53:27.000 Very competitive.
00:53:28.000 Yeah, yeah, dude.
00:53:29.000 Yeah, that's why every time we do this episode, guys, we have to, like, go to the website.
00:53:33.000 I know some of y 'all niggas say, oh, y 'all lazy, you just show us the website.
00:53:35.000 Yeah, nigga, because that's the only way you'll know what the perks are, dumb fuck.
00:53:38.000 They're constantly changing the perks and the benefits and the negatives of each card because they're so goddamn competitive, guys.
00:53:45.000 Okay?
00:53:45.000 So we have to go on their website to show you guys what the actual stuff is.
00:53:49.000 And just so you know, in about a month or two, these might not even be the perks anymore.
00:53:53.000 They're gonna change.
00:53:53.000 They're gonna change.
00:53:55.000 So, they're always changing up the terms of service, etc.
00:53:59.000 They're constantly nerfing cards, increasing other cards.
00:54:02.000 So, that's what's happening, man.
00:54:06.000 Use it wisely.
00:54:08.000 What's the next one?
00:54:12.000 That's a good one, man.
00:54:13.000 If you're a student.
00:54:14.000 Okay.
00:54:15.000 Double cash.
00:54:15.000 This is where we start to get into good cards now.
00:54:18.000 I'm surprised.
00:54:19.000 How did this one get on the list?
00:54:20.000 Well, this is the last one.
00:54:22.000 Kind of like a bonus.
00:54:22.000 Okay.
00:54:24.000 This is one of the best cashback cards.
00:54:25.000 To be honest with y 'all, this is one of the best cashback cards, period.
00:54:27.000 Yeah.
00:54:28.000 So you get 2% cashback unlimited, which means anything you buy.
00:54:32.000 Groceries, gas, doesn't matter.
00:54:35.000 Also, you get $200 cashback after spending $1,500 within six months.
00:54:39.000 That's not bad either.
00:54:40.000 You just pay for your gas, pay for your regular bills if you can, and then before you know it, you got $200 cashback in your account.
00:54:46.000 Not bad.
00:54:47.000 For spending money, you'll spend anyway.
00:54:49.000 Yeah.
00:54:50.000 Also, so we got unlimited and then plus.
00:54:53.000 Over there.
00:54:54.000 5% cashback on select city travel bookings.
00:54:57.000 So that's not bad either.
00:54:58.000 You can travel somewhere with family, like I said before.
00:55:00.000 It can get back there as well.
00:55:02.000 5%, which is a little bit higher.
00:55:03.000 And then, let's see down below.
00:55:06.000 Redeem a direct deposit.
00:55:08.000 Okay.
00:55:09.000 Save my credit.
00:55:11.000 And APR, of course, is going to be high as usual.
00:55:13.000 Yeah, they always are.
00:55:14.000 Guys, you're always going to have high interest rates.
00:55:16.000 I don't even look at APR.
00:55:18.000 It's always going to be somewhere between 20% to damn near 40%.
00:55:21.000 And the reason why, guys, is because that's just credit cards.
00:55:25.000 They look at it like, oh, we're giving you money up front.
00:55:27.000 We're going to kill you on interest rates.
00:55:28.000 So this is why you pay in full every month, guys.
00:55:31.000 Always pay in full every month.
00:55:32.000 When they get more advanced, they give you 0% APR.
00:55:35.000 For a year or so.
00:55:37.000 You can go ahead, you can balance transfer, you open up a new credit card for a year and a half, you can just let it rock and sit with a balance, even though I don't suggest doing that, but it is a financial strategy that you can employ.
00:55:49.000 So yeah, in general, you should be paying it off in full unless you've got some kind of offer where they're allowing you to enjoy no APR.
00:55:58.000 A lot of times it's an introduction period where for the first year to two years, they won't charge you.
00:56:03.000 You know, interest rates.
00:56:05.000 Yeah.
00:56:06.000 When you open up.
00:56:07.000 I'm curious to know everyone's credit score, though.
00:56:09.000 What's that now?
00:56:10.000 Because, uh...
00:56:11.000 Man, some of y 'all are cooked, man.
00:56:13.000 300 is crazy, bro.
00:56:14.000 Yeah, someone earlier in the show said 310.
00:56:17.000 Damn.
00:56:17.000 And they were cooking them in the chat.
00:56:18.000 It was kind of funny.
00:56:20.000 310 is wild, bro.
00:56:21.000 What'd you do, bro?
00:56:22.000 What'd you actually do, man?
00:56:23.000 That's bad.
00:56:24.000 That nigga...
00:56:25.000 Bro, he didn't pay bills for like...
00:56:26.000 There's niggas in prison that probably been in for 20 years that got a better score than that.
00:56:29.000 Damn.
00:56:31.000 That's tough.
00:56:32.000 Alright.
00:56:33.000 What the fuck?
00:56:34.000 What's the next one?
00:56:36.000 Or is that the last one?
00:56:37.000 Oh, and we got Quicksilver One.
00:56:39.000 Again, Capital One.
00:56:41.000 Pretty good starter company.
00:56:43.000 Let's see down below.
00:56:44.000 Yeah, Capital One has a good amount of beginner cards.
00:56:48.000 Same thing?
00:56:49.000 Okay.
00:56:51.000 Yeah, they're all changing their terms and their actual value, so...
00:56:57.000 And then, just so you guys know, we're going to absolutely do an episode on best cashback cards, best travel credit cards.
00:57:03.000 And advanced cards.
00:57:04.000 Best business credit cards, you know, when we get into stuff.
00:57:06.000 But obviously we need to do the, you know, best beginner slash no to low credit score cards, which are these.
00:57:12.000 Something between 610 and 790 from the guys putting in the chat.
00:57:16.000 That's pretty good.
00:57:17.000 For this one?
00:57:18.000 No, for these people in the chat saying what their score is.
00:57:20.000 Oh, okay, okay, okay.
00:57:21.000 It's not bad.
00:57:21.000 Yeah, so y 'all could get any of these cards here that we mentioned then.
00:57:25.000 But 610, I ain't going to lie, it's kind of trash.
00:57:27.000 You need to up that.
00:57:28.000 Bro, guys, you should be in the 700s at least, man.
00:57:31.000 If you want to...
00:57:33.000 And definitely don't apply for a loan with anything under a 720.
00:57:38.000 They're going to...
00:57:39.000 I mean, if someone tries to buy a car with a 610...
00:57:41.000 So, right now, the car market is in shambles.
00:57:45.000 The actual car market is so backed up with debt.
00:57:47.000 Dude, actually, if I'm correct, I'm a little bit off here.
00:57:51.000 The total debt is $1.7 trillion.
00:57:54.000 For cars?
00:57:55.000 0.7 trillion.
00:57:56.000 So what if someone had like a 610 and they tried to buy a car now with their credit score?
00:58:01.000 Well...
00:58:01.000 Would they even get decent?
00:58:03.000 Would they get a good offer?
00:58:04.000 You can get a car, my friend.
00:58:05.000 But the rate itself and your payment...
00:58:08.000 I'll give you an example.
00:58:09.000 I can have a credit score of 740.
00:58:12.000 I can buy a Mercedes-Benz.
00:58:14.000 Let's say C-Class.
00:58:15.000 My payment is going to be maybe 350.
00:58:19.000 You can go with a 610 credit score.
00:58:22.000 For a Toyota Corolla, I pay 400.
00:58:24.000 So I'm paying less money for a Mercedes who's high class and a Toyota by 50 bucks less, you're paying $400 for a Toyota.
00:58:31.000 Well, credit scores really do affect you with cars.
00:58:32.000 It doesn't matter, bro.
00:58:33.000 And remember, the term of the loan, even longer because now, it's because your score is so low.
00:58:40.000 So I think for most people, wait for the score to be high and then buy.
00:58:43.000 For cars, that's even worse, man.
00:58:46.000 But in this marketplace, bro.
00:58:46.000 With a house, there's ways around having shitty credit.
00:58:49.000 With a car, it doesn't seem like it.
00:58:51.000 Nah, dude, you're cucked, bro.
00:58:52.000 And it's buy here, pay here.
00:58:52.000 Which means you buy it on the spot and you pay here.
00:58:56.000 So those companies are so sleazy because they know you can't have a car from your credit score.
00:59:02.000 So I'll give you a car.
00:59:03.000 No problem, buddy.
00:59:04.000 But it's going to be a shitty car.
00:59:06.000 Barely fixed.
00:59:07.000 And as well, you need me because you can't go anywhere else.
00:59:09.000 So now they got you by the ball spot.
00:59:11.000 When you say buy here, pay here, what does that mean?
00:59:12.000 That's the term for those places that sell the cars that are very sleazy.
00:59:15.000 Oh, okay.
00:59:16.000 The sleazy places.
00:59:17.000 Because you're buying here and you're paying for it at the same time.
00:59:18.000 Okay.
00:59:19.000 Long term.
00:59:20.000 So that's what I get you.
00:59:22.000 See, man, that's why y 'all better...
00:59:24.000 Yo, just buy a piece of shit car and own it for life, guys.
00:59:26.000 Yeah.
00:59:26.000 That's what I did.
00:59:28.000 So...
00:59:28.000 I'll tell you this.
00:59:29.000 From my experience, my real experience, man.
00:59:33.000 Listen, I can hold the L on this one.
00:59:36.000 It's better to have a car paid off in cash.
00:59:38.000 Buying a car, financing, bro.
00:59:40.000 Even leasing.
00:59:41.000 Okay, business, leasing, it's okay.
00:59:43.000 But buying and financing, bro, cooked.
00:59:46.000 Because you know what's funny about dealers now?
00:59:47.000 They don't make money from actual cars.
00:59:49.000 It's from the actual loan.
00:59:50.000 That's how I make money now.
00:59:51.000 Oh, that makes sense.
00:59:51.000 So they say, oh, no, bro.
00:59:52.000 I'll lower the price of the car.
00:59:53.000 They don't care.
00:59:54.000 But when they get you the loan, oh, you're cooked because you can't leave it.
00:59:57.000 Remember, to leave, you got to pay it off.
00:59:59.000 And if you don't pay it off, they're going to sue your ass and take all your wages from there on out once you pay it off.
01:00:03.000 So they win no matter what.
01:00:04.000 And they get the car back.
01:00:06.000 So when you sign for a car nowadays, guys, if you don't know how to pay that car off, you're cooked.
01:00:12.000 Bro.
01:00:13.000 Trash, man.
01:00:14.000 Save your money, man.
01:00:15.000 Absolutely trash.
01:00:16.000 All right.
01:00:17.000 And then we got a video to play as well after this card.
01:00:19.000 So, Chris Silver 1 for Capital 1. Let's see here.
01:00:23.000 What is that on this one, Bills?
01:00:25.000 Oh, so this one takes a fair score.
01:00:27.000 So, guys, again, show them the chart again for scores.
01:00:30.000 So, regarding scores itself, guys, it's from 0 to 850.
01:00:34.000 For this card, you need a fair score.
01:00:36.000 So, if you've got a 310, this card's not for you.
01:00:38.000 So, between a fair and good, which is 580 to 669, you can get this card.
01:00:43.000 But if you're lower than that...
01:00:45.000 You're cooked on that card because it's a little bit higher on the threshold for getting actual rates.
01:00:50.000 And then, let's go back to the card, if you don't mind.
01:00:56.000 Alright, so, fair.
01:00:57.000 Unlimited rewards.
01:00:59.000 So, 1.5 cashback on every purchase.
01:01:01.000 And it'll feed $39.
01:01:02.000 Purchase rate.
01:01:03.000 Okay.
01:01:03.000 APR is what it is.
01:01:04.000 Yeah, and this, again, this is going to be a higher-end good card.
01:01:07.000 So, look, the Citi cashback and this card, guys, these are cards that you can actually keep long-term.
01:01:12.000 Yeah.
01:01:12.000 If you're able to get these cards, Like, these are cards that you can actually get.
01:01:17.000 See how we worked our way up?
01:01:18.000 So we had to discover it, kind of sucks.
01:01:20.000 Pedal 1, sucks.
01:01:22.000 Saver, a bit better.
01:01:23.000 Now we're at the Quicksilver and the City Cash.
01:01:25.000 These are cards that you can actually keep long-term.
01:01:28.000 And there's better versions of the Quicksilver where you can get 2% cash back, etc.
01:01:32.000 So these are cards that you can actually keep long-term, but obviously you're going to need to have a higher credit score to get these.
01:01:38.000 But this is still considered a beginner card in the grand scheme of things, which goes to show, man, how competitive things are.
01:01:45.000 This used to be a really good card, but now they've kind of lowered their standards where even someone with a lower credit score can get this card, and the other cards have just gotten better.
01:01:56.000 Right?
01:01:57.000 The higher-end cards just provide so much goddamn value now.
01:01:59.000 It's so competitive now.
01:02:02.000 So competitive, man.
01:02:05.000 So this card is actually a good card.
01:02:07.000 What is it?
01:02:08.000 1.5% cashback, if I'm not mistaken?
01:02:10.000 On everything, right?
01:02:11.000 That's not bad.
01:02:12.000 I like 2%, but again, this is a beginner card.
01:02:14.000 So 1.5% on everything for a beginner is pretty damn good.
01:02:17.000 Yeah, that one's better, actually.
01:02:18.000 2% is crazy.
01:02:21.000 The same things here, guys, for the actual benefits.
01:02:26.000 Credit line.
01:02:28.000 Credit line, credit wise.
01:02:30.000 Same thing, pretty much.
01:02:34.000 On every purchase, that's good.
01:02:37.000 Get access.
01:02:38.000 This is just a straight cash back credit card, pretty much.
01:02:42.000 You get the fraud liability.
01:02:46.000 Obviously, a lot of supply for it.
01:02:47.000 This one, you're probably going to need like a 600 to 700 range to get it.
01:02:50.000 Credit score level fair.
01:02:52.000 But hopefully, you've been watching the show and you don't have these cards.
01:02:54.000 You don't even get these cards.
01:02:55.000 But if you do, then here you go.
01:02:57.000 Again, the ridges are here for what's good and what's bad.
01:03:00.000 Hopefully, you're feeling very good to exceptional.
01:03:02.000 If not, you got some work to do on your card, on your score.
01:03:05.000 All right?
01:03:06.000 End of the video.
01:03:07.000 If you don't mind, Bills?
01:03:08.000 So, guys, the marketplace now is corrupt because that is at an all-time high.
01:03:13.000 And the problem is Americans are stuck either with no savings and any credit cards to survive, which understandably, times are hard.
01:03:19.000 However, hopefully this is not you, because if this is you, my friend, what's coming with AI is going to be even worse.
01:03:24.000 Let's play a video of those bills, if you don't mind, to kind of highlight this in real time, what's happening in American society.
01:03:29.000 There we go.
01:03:33.000 card debt.
01:03:33.000 All right.
01:03:35.000 Let's talk about it.
01:03:36.000 So let's talk about my credit card debt so you feel better about your finances.
01:03:40.000 Let's do the other one first, just so they can see the actual numbers with the debt itself.
01:03:43.000 Who is this guy?
01:03:44.000 What is the video background?
01:03:45.000 So this is JJ.
01:03:46.000 He does, for example, debt advice, how to pay after a card, about car payments, all this stuff.
01:03:52.000 He's covered it for quite some time, too, as well.
01:03:53.000 Good YouTuber.
01:03:54.000 Shout out to him.
01:03:54.000 And he's breaking down how people have stuck themselves in debt so far gone.
01:03:58.000 It's, like, crazy.
01:04:00.000 All right.
01:04:00.000 The other way, guys, also not to have a girlfriend.
01:04:02.000 That helps, as well, with saving money.
01:04:04.000 True.
01:04:05.000 A lot of money.
01:04:07.000 Yeah, the other one, yeah.
01:04:10.000 Well, women are 80% of the consumer base.
01:04:13.000 It's all women on TikTok saying, I got some debt on me now.
01:04:16.000 I can't want to pay it off.
01:04:17.000 Alright, bro.
01:04:20.000 I am currently in $133,000 in debt.
01:04:24.000 Come on, 2024.
01:04:26.000 Wait.
01:04:27.000 What'd you stop it?
01:04:28.000 Not as a rich person, but just as a financially irresponsible 25-year-old.
01:04:33.000 Americans' credit card balances have hit an all-time high of more than $1.2 trillion.
01:04:38.000 Okay, so today we have another round of insane credit card debt to look into.
01:04:42.000 With the overall household debt climbing to $18 trillion recently, and the average credit card debt per person for Gen Z is $3,400.
01:04:51.000 That's crazy, bro.
01:04:54.000 This is Dr. Rios.
01:04:56.000 But, these are the numbers, man.
01:04:57.000 For this year alone.
01:04:59.000 Crazy.
01:05:01.000 So, imagine you're 18-year-olds with 3-4k in debt.
01:05:04.000 With no job.
01:05:05.000 How do you pay that shit off, bro?
01:05:07.000 Like, you're cooked!
01:05:08.000 And then, hopefully, if you do get your degree and you get a job, then you're in debt from the very beginning, starting out.
01:05:15.000 So, yeah, man.
01:05:16.000 It's kind of scary when you see the numbers.
01:05:20.000 But, yeah.
01:05:21.000 His video's really good, guys.
01:05:22.000 Check it out.
01:05:22.000 It's the full video.
01:05:23.000 But, like, breaking it down.
01:05:24.000 Step by step, people are in trouble, bro.
01:05:26.000 All over America.
01:05:29.000 Alright, we'll play the next video in more context.
01:05:35.000 Some examples here.
01:05:40.000 Credit card debt.
01:05:42.000 Let's talk about it.
01:05:43.000 So let's talk about my credit card debt so you feel better about your finances.
01:05:47.000 I am currently, as of this morning, have...
01:05:50.000 $55,399 of credit card debt.
01:05:54.000 And that is across seven different credit cards.
01:05:57.000 So let's go through each of them.
01:05:58.000 Bro, how are you ugly and 55k in debt as a female, bro?
01:06:02.000 That's cooked.
01:06:03.000 Holy. I got me on that credit there, man.
01:06:07.000 There's one girl that said, F it.
01:06:10.000 Quit my job traveling the world on her credit card.
01:06:13.000 She came back and said, oh my god, I don't know what to do.
01:06:16.000 I'm like, so stupid, bro.
01:06:19.000 You're traveling in Europe for six months a year on your credit card.
01:06:24.000 Can you imagine some nigga said, oh yeah, bro, I'm going to go travel the world.
01:06:27.000 How are you going to pay for it?
01:06:27.000 I'm just going to travel the world.
01:06:29.000 We would ridicule that motherfucker.
01:06:31.000 Like, you fucking dumbass.
01:06:32.000 You're going to come back and be fucking broke and in crazy debt.
01:06:35.000 Women, though, do that shit all the time.
01:06:37.000 I'm just going to feel free.
01:06:38.000 Yeah!
01:06:40.000 Goddamn, man.
01:06:43.000 But that's the new norm, man.
01:06:45.000 That's the new norm.
01:06:46.000 Fucking retards, man.
01:06:48.000 Look, bro.
01:06:49.000 Look, man.
01:06:51.000 Niggas are asking for their rights, man.
01:06:53.000 Like, bro, this...
01:06:53.000 I tweeted this the other day.
01:06:55.000 It went viral on X, man.
01:06:56.000 We need to go back and make women second-class citizens again, man.
01:06:59.000 Goddamn, bro.
01:07:00.000 Niggas are retarded, bro.
01:07:02.000 Like, just...
01:07:03.000 Yeah, I just gotta travel, live my best life!
01:07:06.000 Stupid, man.
01:07:07.000 What's the last time you seen niggas say, I'm just gonna travel, live my best life, and go with debt?
01:07:10.000 We ridiculed that motherfucker, bro.
01:07:13.000 Into...
01:07:13.000 Like, literally, we would...
01:07:15.000 We would make fun of them so much you would fucking cry.
01:07:17.000 Women though?
01:07:17.000 No.
01:07:18.000 It's like, oh yeah, sure girl, go do your thing.
01:07:20.000 How you gonna pay for it though?
01:07:22.000 I don't figure it out.
01:07:24.000 Okay, yeah.
01:07:25.000 Enable the stupidity, bro.
01:07:27.000 Student loans as well?
01:07:28.000 Bro, incredible, man.
01:07:29.000 Fucking idiots.
01:07:31.000 Anyway.
01:07:32.000 You know what we need?
01:07:33.000 We need a show after hours where girls are all in debt.
01:07:36.000 They always are.
01:07:37.000 No, but we can talk about their debts alone.
01:07:39.000 Cook them.
01:07:40.000 All of them are, man.
01:07:42.000 Yeah.
01:07:42.000 It's true.
01:07:43.000 Every girl's in crazy debt, bro.
01:07:45.000 It's crazy.
01:07:45.000 Credit karma on stream?
01:07:47.000 Credit karma.
01:07:48.000 Episode name.
01:07:49.000 This bitch is over here saying she got 55k in debt, bro.
01:07:52.000 This shit crazy.
01:07:53.000 Yeah, she's ugly.
01:07:53.000 That's cooked.
01:07:54.000 Bill said displaying their credit karma on stream.
01:07:58.000 Mandatory.
01:07:59.000 Facts.
01:08:01.000 Alright, let's see.
01:08:03.000 This one right here, this is actually a balance transfer from City Cards, and this currently has $2,070 on it.
01:08:12.000 This will be the first one I actually pay off because this zero balance actually ends in June of this year.
01:08:17.000 That will be a priority as of right now.
01:08:20.000 Number two is actually...
01:08:21.000 So she's saying basically this card she just showed, after a couple months, it'll end the 0% no APR for that year, which means you don't pay any interest for that year.
01:08:32.000 At all.
01:08:33.000 Once it ends, they tap on that heavy.
01:08:36.000 Yep.
01:08:36.000 So she should pay it off as soon as possible.
01:08:39.000 All right.
01:08:43.000 Hair credit through Symphony Bank and this currently has $6,439 on it.
01:08:50.000 Now we got this one last August when our dog had to get surgery to remove underwear from her stomach.
01:08:55.000 That was a really big blow on our credit payoff journey because it added about $9,000 to our credit card debt.
01:09:02.000 Number three here is another city card and this one has $13,754 on it.
01:09:08.000 So the next two I have actually really, really hurt, and this is where the majority of our debt is.
01:09:13.000 So the next one I have is Williams-Sonoma, and this one has $17,863 on it.
01:09:20.000 Do you know what that is, Williams?
01:09:23.000 No.
01:09:24.000 What is that?
01:09:25.000 It's a store.
01:09:27.000 Bro, I kid you not.
01:09:29.000 What the hell do they sell there?
01:09:30.000 I cannot tell you that if she has $17,000 on that store alone, bro, dude, that is scary.
01:09:38.000 Sounds too rich for you.
01:09:40.000 Sounds too rich for you.
01:09:42.000 Let's see here.
01:09:45.000 Let's pull up their store real quick.
01:09:46.000 So guys, they sell basically cooking and dishware for your home.
01:09:54.000 And it's between $100 to like, you know, probably a bunch of bucks typically.
01:10:00.000 But what she bought, bro, 70k total is insane.
01:10:04.000 Like, I don't know what she bought, bro.
01:10:05.000 I'm in a store.
01:10:06.000 Okay, shop now.
01:10:07.000 Bro, I mentioned about furniture too, or something, but I don't know.
01:10:13.000 Bro, dinnerware, like, dude, 17K is insane.
01:10:19.000 What'd she buy?
01:10:20.000 Yeah, I don't know.
01:10:21.000 And her dog swallows, I guess, a diaper or something.
01:10:24.000 What the hell?
01:10:24.000 This?
01:10:25.000 Yeah, dude, that's what it is.
01:10:27.000 So imagine that, 17K, here alone?
01:10:30.000 Bro, what are you buying?
01:10:32.000 It better be a culinary business.
01:10:34.000 Nah, bro.
01:10:35.000 I don't know, bro.
01:10:36.000 Well, it's flopping, obviously.
01:10:39.000 Look, whatever business that is, that thing...
01:10:41.000 Look, I see a dinner were set here.
01:10:46.000 How did you get 17k?
01:10:47.000 I don't know.
01:10:50.000 But again, this is the death of Americans, bro.
01:10:53.000 Incredible.
01:10:54.000 We can continue, then we'll end it off shortly.
01:10:57.000 Someone said, at least she's in the kitchen.
01:10:59.000 That is funny.
01:11:00.000 At least she in the kitchen?
01:11:01.000 Yeah, she's, uh...
01:11:02.000 70K deep, though.
01:11:03.000 She could've went to Walmart, bro.
01:11:05.000 And the last one that I have here is Wells Fargo, and this is my oldest credit card, and I have had this since I was 19 years old.
01:11:13.000 How do you have 25K?
01:11:15.000 Bro.
01:11:16.000 How does she have 25K?
01:11:17.000 Bro.
01:11:18.000 Chat, listen to this carefully.
01:11:21.000 You meet woman, hopefully not like this.
01:11:23.000 She's beautiful, she's amazing, but you don't know.
01:11:27.000 The whole facts are the credit facts.
01:11:30.000 And the whole facts is bad.
01:11:31.000 Credit facts, if you marry her, it's going to be none of your facts.
01:11:34.000 And at the same time, bro, that is insane.
01:11:37.000 I'm not just marrying her, bro.
01:11:39.000 She's normally bad.
01:11:40.000 But that's $70,000 basically.
01:11:42.000 Sorry, no.
01:11:43.000 $50,000 basically in debt.
01:11:45.000 But you got to help her pay off.
01:11:47.000 Hopefully as a good husband.
01:11:49.000 Wink, wink.
01:11:50.000 Cooked, bro.
01:11:50.000 You cooked.
01:11:51.000 But that's the typical American woman today.
01:11:54.000 My forehead bigger than my stomach.
01:11:55.000 Imagine that.
01:11:56.000 $70,000.
01:11:57.000 In a dishware store.
01:11:59.000 I don't even know how you racked that up, bro.
01:12:02.000 That's retarded.
01:12:05.000 No, that's the other credit card.
01:12:10.000 But hopefully she pisses it off.
01:12:13.000 Maybe she won't.
01:12:14.000 But you as a man, though, you need to pay your shit off, bro.
01:12:17.000 Because no one's going to marry you and pay your shit off.
01:12:19.000 Hell no.
01:12:20.000 You ain't going to get rescued.
01:12:21.000 No way.
01:12:22.000 She said we.
01:12:23.000 A lot of you niggas, you're in your debt.
01:12:24.000 It'll just be you.
01:12:25.000 You.
01:12:26.000 No, we.
01:12:27.000 We?
01:12:27.000 No, you.
01:12:30.000 Don't give the benefit of saying we.
01:12:32.000 A lot of you niggas, it's just going to be you.
01:12:34.000 We?
01:12:34.000 You went to me.
01:12:35.000 That's what it's going to be.
01:12:36.000 Myra, we?
01:12:36.000 You went to France?
01:12:37.000 It was fresh, man.
01:12:39.000 That's all it's going to be, man.
01:12:41.000 Crazy.
01:12:42.000 But yeah, it's a little bit longer, but we can stop it there.
01:12:44.000 But yeah, guys.
01:12:45.000 Credit's important.
01:12:46.000 Don't be late, her.
01:12:47.000 Build your score up.
01:12:48.000 Start small.
01:12:49.000 Build it up successfully.
01:12:50.000 And a tip I said earlier is have one of your parents hopefully put you on your credit card to build it up organically as well.
01:12:56.000 Yeah, being an authorized user, that's very important, guys.
01:12:57.000 Being an authorized user is a great way to get your way in.
01:12:59.000 And then also alongside having these beginner credit cards.
01:13:02.000 And just understand, man, if you don't get your credit on point, guys, you're not going to be able to get real estate, which is going to be, we know, 90% plus of millionaires make their wealth off of real estate, man.
01:13:11.000 So if you guys want to really have a financial future and be able to...
01:13:15.000 Get real assets.
01:13:17.000 You're going to need to have a good credit score.
01:13:20.000 Especially when it comes to real estate.
01:13:21.000 Unless you want to buy all your shit cash like a drug dealer.
01:13:23.000 But you're not going to be able to get loans.
01:13:26.000 Go ahead, Fresh.
01:13:27.000 Alright.
01:13:28.000 You want me to do this one?
01:13:29.000 I can do this one.
01:13:30.000 Alright, you got the next one.
01:13:33.000 1775 Coffee, guys.
01:13:36.000 Most coffee out there?
01:13:37.000 Straight trash.
01:13:38.000 Brewed by corporations more worried about virtue signals than flavor.
01:13:42.000 And it tastes like a 1775 Coffee is different.
01:13:45.000 It's a single-origin, mold-free, toxin-free, woke-free, and roasted fresh every week in Miami.
01:13:50.000 How you start your day is how you live your life.
01:13:52.000 If your coffee is low-quality or watered down, your standards are probably two.
01:13:56.000 Go to 1775coffee.com, use the code FRESH, and get 15% off.
01:14:00.000 Again, 1775coffee.com, use code FRESH.
01:14:02.000 Drink coffee that hits your standards as it should, hard, clean, and unapologetic.
01:14:12.000 Sorry, guys, I'm blind.
01:14:14.000 By the way, Last month, month before, like we told you, one of you is possibly winning the Cybertruck.
01:14:24.000 Just gonna say, and 30k cash.
01:14:27.000 So WTU the winner, but that's for you guys, man.
01:14:30.000 So WTU, y 'all niggas that win.
01:14:32.000 We will soon know.
01:14:36.000 Gaz, are there any CC you would recommend or credit cards you recommend for people in the UK or abroad in general?
01:14:41.000 If not, can you bring someone in for it?
01:14:44.000 Brother Darkness, I believe in your networking abilities to find someone.
01:14:47.000 P.S. When is Nate Bumar coming on the show?
01:14:51.000 Tonight!
01:14:52.000 There you go.
01:14:53.000 After hours, yeah.
01:14:55.000 Wait, what?
01:14:55.000 Nate, coming on.
01:14:58.000 He's one of the guys for the conversation piece.
01:15:00.000 Girls and guys.
01:15:01.000 There you go.
01:15:02.000 We got you guys, man.
01:15:03.000 Oh, shit, I forgot it's regular girls today.
01:15:06.000 Huh?
01:15:07.000 I completely forgot that it's regular girls versus guys.
01:15:10.000 I completely forgot about that.
01:15:15.000 Shit.
01:15:16.000 Discover.
01:15:16.000 It's a great card to have.
01:15:17.000 Discover is owned by Capital One, which means as a starter, you build history to be able to get into Capital Cards easier.
01:15:22.000 Good point.
01:15:23.000 So, boosted?
01:15:24.000 Grimly.
01:15:25.000 Should I incorporate the same advice from the beginner credit cards into rebuilding my credit?
01:15:28.000 I mean, you can, bro, but honestly speaking, bro, what's your score?
01:15:31.000 Because that'll say a lot about what you need to do at this point.
01:15:33.000 Mario, you could relax a little bit tonight, then.
01:15:35.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:15:36.000 Fresh running.
01:15:36.000 Nice.
01:15:37.000 Okay.
01:15:42.000 Wresting Myron!
01:15:43.000 Fresh start.
01:15:44.000 Josiah B19.
01:15:48.000 After y 'all finish talking about credit cards, could you give your predictions on the housing market after all these tariffs?
01:15:53.000 APR back down to good old 2-3% like in 2020, WFNF.
01:15:58.000 Ooh, tariffs, man.
01:16:00.000 What do you think, bro?
01:16:02.000 Housing market?
01:16:04.000 Well...
01:16:04.000 Here's the thing, man.
01:16:05.000 I don't think the housing market depends too much on tariffs, man, to be honest with you, which is kind of a good thing because the real estate market, obviously, everything affects each other, but what I'm trying to say is that I don't think it affects it that much.
01:16:19.000 We'll see what happens, though.
01:16:20.000 That's more on the interest rates.
01:16:22.000 We'll have to see.
01:16:23.000 I know the interest rates have come down a little bit.
01:16:25.000 That was actually Trump's goal coming in, was to try to bring the interest rates down so that when money is cheaper, people tend to take more...
01:16:34.000 Risky investment things.
01:16:35.000 They're more willing to, you know, obviously buy houses.
01:16:38.000 They're more willing to invest in their businesses when interest rates are lower because then they could go ahead and get debt for cheap.
01:16:43.000 So we'll see what happens, man.
01:16:45.000 Are we going to get back down to 3% interest rates?
01:16:46.000 Fuck no.
01:16:47.000 But I do think that the tariffs absolutely do play a role to some degree in interest rates coming down.
01:16:54.000 I don't think it's going to play that much of a role, but it did come down a little bit.
01:16:57.000 So we'll see what happens, man.
01:16:59.000 We'll see what happens.
01:17:02.000 But I do think that the tariff situation, good idea, implemented poorly though, man.
01:17:08.000 And I did a whole explanation with this with George Gammon, by the way, on the debrief.
01:17:11.000 If you guys want to, you know, check that out.
01:17:13.000 We went over that in detail with the tariffs, how it kind of backfired.
01:17:19.000 Good idea, but Trump and his team implemented it totally wrong, man.
01:17:23.000 Unfortunately.
01:17:25.000 What's the next call in?
01:17:26.000 Ninjas need help.
01:17:28.000 We got a Zoom call, actually, this week.
01:17:31.000 Oh, Wednesday.
01:17:32.000 Yeah, Wednesday.
01:17:32.000 Well, let's do it Thursday because I won't be here.
01:17:36.000 No, you can run it.
01:17:37.000 That's fine.
01:17:37.000 You can run it.
01:17:38.000 But however you guys want to do it.
01:17:40.000 All right.
01:17:42.000 Yeah, we haven't done the call-in show in a bit.
01:17:45.000 I mean, I guess we could.
01:17:46.000 It's coming up.
01:17:48.000 Will I be here?
01:17:50.000 Sabaton on Friday.
01:17:51.000 Oh, Sabaton is Friday.
01:17:51.000 So yeah, we could do a portion of a call-in for you guys.
01:17:53.000 Yeah.
01:17:54.000 Yeah, we could actually make it a portion.
01:17:55.000 So all you hater niggas who call in, I know a lot of y 'all got shit to say.
01:18:01.000 I'll still never understand how...
01:18:03.000 Bro, we have a lot of haters watch our shit, man.
01:18:06.000 It's good, though.
01:18:08.000 Well, uh...
01:18:09.000 Bills.
01:18:11.000 My Twitter real quick.
01:18:12.000 A great man once said something very important about haters.
01:18:16.000 No, it's fine.
01:18:18.000 Some of the criticism is actually good.
01:18:20.000 Some of it is good.
01:18:20.000 It makes us better.
01:18:21.000 But a lot of y 'all just be hating out of nowhere.
01:18:23.000 But some of the criticism is very valid and very good.
01:18:25.000 Go to my Twitter, Bills.
01:18:26.000 If you don't mind.
01:18:27.000 The last video.
01:18:29.000 Posted.
01:18:30.000 That's a weird background, nigga.
01:18:31.000 Yes.
01:18:32.000 That shit trash.
01:18:33.000 Huh?
01:18:34.000 This one?
01:18:34.000 That background.
01:18:35.000 Weird, man.
01:18:36.000 Oh, no.
01:18:36.000 What is that?
01:18:37.000 The one above.
01:18:38.000 The one above.
01:18:38.000 Who's this?
01:18:39.000 Eric Spofford.
01:18:40.000 Oh.
01:18:40.000 You broke it down very good.
01:18:42.000 Y 'all ready to play?
01:18:43.000 Yeah.
01:18:43.000 Let's play it.
01:18:44.000 When you have haters, it is a sign that you are doing something right.
01:18:49.000 Smile and be thankful.
01:18:50.000 Because the only thing worse than having haters is fucking not having haters.
01:18:55.000 Their criticism, their judgment, their slander hurts.
01:18:59.000 That will go away over time.
01:19:01.000 But in the beginning, you take that energy, you ball it up, and you turn it into fuel.
01:19:07.000 And you work your fucking face off.
01:19:10.000 And it will no longer bother you.
01:19:12.000 And you will have the success.
01:19:14.000 That you have earned over time.
01:19:16.000 And stuff that success right down their throat.
01:19:19.000 And I promise you, it will feel sweet.
01:19:21.000 And it will be worth every single moment.
01:19:25.000 When you have hate...
01:19:27.000 True.
01:19:27.000 Who's this?
01:19:28.000 Eric Spofford.
01:19:30.000 Used to be with Wes Watson back in the day.
01:19:32.000 Wes Watson back in the day.
01:19:34.000 Pretty cool.
01:19:35.000 Never heard of him, but...
01:19:38.000 Alright.
01:19:40.000 What else we got here?
01:19:41.000 Alright, LJ.
01:19:43.000 Hey, FNF.
01:19:44.000 I'm wondering, for boosting my credit, how many credit cards should I aim to have?
01:19:47.000 And what are your guys' opinions on programs like Self and Credit Strong?
01:19:52.000 Typically, bro, anywhere between two to three.
01:19:54.000 Yep.
01:19:55.000 That's all you need, bro.
01:19:56.000 And then, I mean, there could companies as well.
01:19:58.000 You can obviously increase your card account from there.
01:20:02.000 Work away up to 10 to 20. But, I mean, do you really need that many?
01:20:05.000 It's up to you.
01:20:06.000 I mean, I just keep one card per use.
01:20:08.000 Some guys like to have two to three.
01:20:10.000 It's up to you how crazy you want to get with it.
01:20:13.000 Me, I like to keep, you know, an array of, like, four to five that I always have.
01:20:18.000 Yeah, max.
01:20:19.000 But some people like to have more.
01:20:20.000 I've seen, like, a lot of credit card YouTubers in, like, 20. 10, 15. I had the Amex lineup card, 210 points.
01:20:27.000 Any tips on spending them on a flight to Hawaii when my girl will trade in with an airline or another strategy?
01:20:32.000 Yeah, that's what you get it for, my friend.
01:20:35.000 You do it so that you can travel for free.
01:20:37.000 So, yeah.
01:20:37.000 You know what's scary?
01:20:38.000 Having all those points and then dying and not using them.
01:20:41.000 Is that your fear?
01:20:42.000 Use your points, nigga.
01:20:44.000 I knew it.
01:20:45.000 Hey, it's free money.
01:20:46.000 Hey, it's free money, nigga.
01:20:47.000 Think about it.
01:20:48.000 Think about this.
01:20:49.000 It's free money, bro.
01:20:50.000 It's free money.
01:20:51.000 It's free money.
01:20:54.000 But he needs it on the rainy day.
01:20:55.000 I have used them, but like this nigga.
01:20:56.000 Nah, you got millions of points.
01:20:58.000 I see it, bro.
01:20:59.000 I had to beg this nigga.
01:21:00.000 Bro, use the points, bro.
01:21:01.000 Bro, he don't use them, bro.
01:21:03.000 I said, yo, you know what?
01:21:03.000 It's a free trip, man.
01:21:04.000 This guy fresh man.
01:21:05.000 This guy's dying with points.
01:21:07.000 Bro, you got millions of points.
01:21:08.000 Mario, you already have the backup camera on your 2002 Accord, bro.
01:21:12.000 That's where it works, man.
01:21:12.000 It's bad.
01:21:14.000 Alright, what else do we got?
01:21:15.000 That's it?
01:21:16.000 You're good to go.
01:21:16.000 That's it?
01:21:17.000 Alright, you can use the points.
01:21:19.000 Can you tell them what they're expecting for tonight?
01:21:22.000 We're going to have...
01:21:23.000 Like last time, modern women versus modern...
01:21:25.000 Luke's brother.
01:21:27.000 Yeah.
01:21:27.000 Okay, so Nate Belmar is coming in.
01:21:29.000 Go ahead.
01:21:29.000 So we're going to have modern women versus modern men, a discussion, a game, and of course, maybe after a fresh match in between.
01:21:38.000 We'll see you guys in after hours.
01:21:39.000 Peace!
01:21:40.000 All right.
01:21:40.000 Let's go.
