00:00:00.000 Should you grow a playoff beard? What about a playoff mustache? A playoff soul patch?
00:00:05.340 Braided playoff mutton chops? Or maybe just playoff stubble? Whatever you grow,
00:00:10.680 it's up to you. Just like it's up to you to ask your doctor about Wigovie. 0.95
00:00:19.300 That was bad. That was actually worse than imaginable. It was worse than anything I imagined. 0.99
00:00:24.500 The blue wave did in fact materialize virtually everywhere in the country outside of Florida,
00:00:31.740 which by the way, Florida like remains supreme.
00:00:34.460 It was an hour in after their polls had closed and they already had like 92% of its 8 million
00:00:38.880 votes counted.
00:00:39.680 So Florida continues to be the model for other states to follow.
00:00:43.820 I wouldn't even describe yesterday as a blue wave.
00:00:45.640 I would describe it as a blue tsunami.
00:00:48.500 Most of the polls were right and we can virtually always count on them being wrong.
00:00:53.180 there were upsets in states where I don't think anyone was paying attention to like Mississippi
00:00:59.140 and Kansas I don't know if y'all were like me but I was watching the election results actually I was
00:01:04.160 flying from New Hampshire to Texas and I was watching the results on my phone in total disarray
00:01:10.240 and confusion and shock and disbelief I knew it was going to be bad I just didn't think it was
00:01:16.140 going to be this bad now I do think there's silver lining in all this we're going to get to it but I
00:01:20.840 think the first question that we've probably all been asking ourselves as you know conservatives
00:01:26.620 I think especially as young conservatives is why in the world how did this happen and I think the
00:01:33.620 immediate answer that comes to mind is pretty obvious which is the war in Iran. I don't know
00:01:38.280 if it's as much the war itself or the outcomes of the war that we as Americans face on a daily
00:01:43.940 basis, although President Trump did say no new wars. And so on that regard, people feel lied to.
00:01:51.560 It's what got a lot of people, I believe, to the ballot box initially. But I think the thing that
00:01:55.560 people feel more is the result, which is high gas prices, high diesel prices. To paraphrase
00:02:01.480 the infamous 1992 slogan, it's the gas price is stupid. Affordability is like always the number 1.00
00:02:06.840 one issue that drives voters. Any election, doesn't matter, local, state, federal, midterm,
00:02:11.840 presidential people care about the prices of gas of groceries of rent of health insurance and they
00:02:18.040 haven't been looking too good and i think the thing that bothers a lot of young people which 0.90
00:02:21.480 this is just what i can attest to being on campuses all the time college campuses engaging in q a's and 0.98
00:02:26.940 like the debate format they feel like there's been a level of dishonesty about reality and how 0.68
00:02:32.180 difficult it really is to be a young person in america now they feel like they're often dismissed
00:02:37.000 as lazy and entitled and they don't want to work hard they don't want to get a job when the
00:02:41.720 reality is, at least again, what I've seen, people are trying, people are trying really hard. It's
00:02:47.280 just difficult to get ahead as a young person in today's United States of America. And they just
00:02:53.580 don't feel like this administration really gets that or they're still blaming it on like President
00:02:57.360 Biden. I do believe we have short term memories. And I think we forget the gas prices were
00:03:00.940 higher under President Biden, but we are desperate for an alternative. And I just think we need to
00:03:07.820 honest i had a video on my timeline yesterday of ron desantis doing like live election coverage
00:03:12.780 it was an awful night for the gop but i think ron desantis had the best night the best commentary
00:03:19.580 of them all let's watch and some of these republicans are saying oh well the gas don't
00:03:24.540 worry you know it's not a big deal like they're trying to blame biden for no no listen we just
00:03:27.980 got to be honest gas is higher it hurts people working class people and it's higher because of
00:03:34.460 this conflict that's just a fact if you can't admit that to voters then you're gaslighting them 0.73
00:03:39.980 and they're not going to listen to you on other things he is so right it's like why would we
00:03:43.900 believe you on anything if you're lying to something that we see with our own eyes you
00:03:48.460 can make the correlation that it's similar to how democrats tell us to ignore our eyes when we see
00:03:52.940 a man dressed as a woman and we call that person a man um i don't think this is of course as
00:03:58.460 drastic as that but how can you tell us everything is fine and not to worry and that gas prices are
00:04:03.180 going down and inflation isn't an issue. How can you say that when we are the ones who see our own
00:04:08.220 bank accounts? The working class people are the people who have to budget to afford gas and 1.00
00:04:12.300 groceries. Why would we believe anything you say if you can't be honest about something we know to 0.99
00:04:16.700 be true and clearly problematic? Young people want to afford homes? That's really, really hard to do 1.00
00:04:22.140 in today's world. I'm not saying it's impossible and yes, I certainly still believe the American
00:04:25.740 Dream exists, but it's hard to do for a young person. The Republican Party has historically
00:04:30.220 struggled with bad messaging. And I think that continues to be the case. I think we had poor
00:04:34.700 candidates across the board. You have people like Ken Paxton, who has been phenomenal, by the way,
00:04:40.000 as Attorney General in Texas, and I do not want to take away from that. He has been one of the
00:04:43.360 fiercest fighters for parental rights, for women's rights, for children, maintaining and protecting
00:04:48.360 the innocence of children. He's been one of the biggest fighters for the Maha movement. But it
00:04:53.380 would be dishonest to say he wasn't a flawed candidate. People like Darlene Graham, who only
00:04:58.000 inherited her Senate seat she's currently occupying because her brother died. Lindsey
00:05:02.480 Grimm died while in office and she just like assumed that role, which was very odd thing at
00:05:07.480 the time. Maybe I could potentially rationalize since it was just the end of the term. I don't
00:05:13.800 know. Even still, I think it was weird, but I don't know why they didn't go back to the drawing
00:05:17.620 board in South Carolina and pick someone who was far more qualified than Darlene Grimm. And I think
00:05:23.080 there was a level of frustration from Republican voters going into the midterms because we just
00:05:27.440 feel like Congress wasted a generational trifecta having the House, the Senate, the presidency,
00:05:35.620 not to mention the Supreme Court, a trifecta of the three branches. And so the result of that
00:05:40.420 were the flips that we saw yesterday. Like I said, South Carolina, which just seems like such a forced
00:05:45.540 error to me, Senate seats don't run in the family. Goodness gracious. North Carolina, you had Roy
00:05:51.320 Cooper replace Tom Tillis, which he was a squishy Republican, but nonetheless, I would say he voted
00:05:56.560 with the conservatives, with Republicans, 90% of the time. Now we have a Democrat in North Carolina.
00:06:03.560 And the most shocking to me at the night was Texas, both the Senate and the governor race.
00:06:10.540 We've been talking about Tallarico for months. So it was on the radar, but I just didn't think
00:06:15.240 it was possible. Maybe that's naive of me. I just really believed that Texas, as I believed my whole
00:06:21.960 life was this bastion of freedom and conservative values. And you think of Texas and you think of
00:06:27.480 like cowboy hats and pointed cowboy boots with spurs. At least that's what I think of. But Texas
00:06:32.700 just gave a Senate seat to a sexually ambiguous anti-meat communist who needs 14 days to recover 1.00
00:06:42.800 from a little sniffle. Like, I don't know, that pretty much sums up the entire night. I don't know
00:06:47.600 why I like can't get ready and talk at the same time. I'm failing. I don't know if y'all are like
00:06:51.740 me i never have an order of which i do my makeup like i guess i'll just brush my eyebrows now
00:06:56.020 i think the more concerning thing about texas is just how much it is going to empower democrats
00:07:01.780 because like i said if you can win texas nothing is unwinnable in my opinion i think they're going
00:07:07.360 to run with it that's like us winning i don't know minnesota or washington or oregon or california
00:07:13.620 do you know how empowered republicans would be if we won california and rightfully so we should
00:07:19.200 feel empowered if we win california you had the less surprising wins of the night like abdul el
00:07:24.020 sayed oh he is just so smug to me i am not looking forward to six years of watching his smug
00:07:32.540 arrogance forget the policies just his demeanor and how he interacts with others how he treats
00:07:37.620 others how he comes across let's watch this video of his acceptance speech last night
00:07:42.100 my name is abdul rahman muhammad say
00:07:47.480 and i am so proud and honored to stand here as your senator-elect from the great state of michigan
00:07:59.980 michiganders we want our taxes spent here for schools here and health care here and
00:08:05.520 infrastructure here we don't want our money sent to do apartheid or genocide or war 0.73
00:08:10.460 in his acceptance speech he starts speaking arabic we just better brace ourselves um i don't
00:08:19.380 want to sound like tenfoil hat crazy but we were warned i just have a feeling that we're going to
00:08:25.680 learn the hard way time will tell but i think this is devastatingly bad for america and the
00:08:32.460 things that we value the things that make america america i just don't know how people can't see
00:08:36.760 that his only goal is the destruction of everything that the USA stands for. You see it,
00:08:43.640 you see it in his eyes and the way he gleefully puts his hands together. I don't want to sound
00:08:48.300 radical. I don't think it makes me radical. But I really believe that our national security is at
00:08:54.440 risk with Abdul El-Sayed and many of the Democratic senators in office because their 0.96
00:09:00.000 allegiance isn't to America. It's just not. Actually, even Gavin Newsom yesterday, he was
00:09:04.760 tweeting this um immigrations and customs enforcement they're like official page on x
00:09:09.040 tweeted this if you vote illegally we will find you we will track you down arrest you and prosecute
00:09:12.440 you there will be no escape gavin newsom quote tweeted it and he said if you talking to ice if
00:09:17.100 you show up to the polls illegally we will find you we will track you down arrest you and prosecute
00:09:20.400 you there will be no escape like that is just proof that their allegiance is to illegals not
00:09:26.560 america which we already knew but i believe this should be disqualifying for the the amount of
00:09:31.980 information that they receive, the intel that they have, and how they can share that to other
00:09:37.280 foreign nations, other world leaders. I don't know, deeply concerning to me. And then she got
00:09:42.700 this cute little dress that she's so excited about. What's on there? The puppy. Let her wear
00:09:49.460 the puppy dress. She gets tired at night and she's mama, mama, mama. That's what she did. 0.99
00:09:57.520 I'm just getting ready I'm actually filming my podcast right now okay go do your thing I just
00:10:03.680 gonna call you so I don't remember what I was saying but all I know is it's about to be two
00:10:07.260 years of pure political theater nothing will get done Washington DC will be a clown show
00:10:13.940 it will be two years of investigations and subpoenas and sham impeachment trials it's
00:10:19.440 going to be the politics of revenge lawyer up were the first words tweeted by the soon-to-be
00:10:24.500 new chairman of the House Oversight Committee after Democrats won control of the House last
00:10:29.940 night. Something tells me they're not actually interested in affordability. They were warned.
00:10:35.340 We were given like clear guidelines of what we should, not we could, what we should expect
00:10:40.320 if they were to regain control with how they treated President Trump and how they attempted
00:10:44.740 to impeach him last time they had control of the House, but also Senator Slotkin. Remember,
00:10:49.160 she literally just said what, like three weeks ago now? I want to make young conservatives feel
00:10:54.440 fearful of working in a Republican administration by prosecuting everyone. Hello. There's no part of
00:11:01.160 me that's surprised because I've been paying attention. The good news is there were several
00:11:05.480 ballot initiatives. If you watch the show, you saw Megan Burke and Paula Scanlon come on to talk about
00:11:10.760 what's going on in Colorado with Prop 134 for ballot initiatives to save women's sports in
00:11:15.620 Washington, in Nebraska, Arizona. And it's looking like thus far, all of them have passed at the
00:11:23.560 time of this recording. So it is fantastic news, but it's still hard to rationalize, like make it
00:11:28.920 make sense. You have conservative values winning in Colorado and Tallarico winning in Texas. That
00:11:35.080 shows me though, that the message that voters are sending is affordability and gas prices. And
00:11:40.120 that's good news, but I don't think that's what the Democrats are going to hear. I think the
00:11:43.940 Democrats are going to hear trans kids and boys bathrooms and DEI and critical race theory in 0.77
00:11:50.120 schools, more illegal immigration. And that's not what voters want. I don't think that this big blue
00:11:55.460 wave was indicative of that. I do not think that woke is winning. I just don't. I don't think that's
00:12:01.800 what Democrats think. So maybe that's the silver lining is they're going to pull their normal crazy 0.90
00:12:07.680 talking points and policy positions. And it will only help Republicans in 2028. Or maybe another
00:12:16.300 theory. Although I don't think this is the case. Maybe Trump figured we would lose the midterm
00:12:20.400 anyway, because historically that happens. History points that direction. Um, and he knew that Dems
00:12:26.780 would remind everyone how crazy they are. Two years, um, clearing the way for a clean red sweep
00:12:33.220 in 2028. President Trump is smart. He's a businessman. It's a possibility. Although that
00:12:39.820 would be some 60 chess. And I just don't think that president Trump is more interested in
00:12:44.980 prioritizing getting a Republican elected after him over his own legacy, but a possibility.
00:12:51.660 So I guess now we look at 2028. I think the election for 2028 starts right now,
00:12:55.940 like immediately following that election. Boom, 2028. That's where eyes are focused.
00:13:01.260 We need to start picking our candidate. We need to unite behind them. I still don't really think
00:13:06.180 the Dems have a clear front runner. I think with Abdul El-Sayed winning, it gives a clear shot for 0.65
00:13:10.960 AOC. I believe she will be on the the 2028 presidential ticket. I think another consequence
00:13:15.620 of Abdul El-Sayed winning is they're going to run socialists in every primary now. They've seen
00:13:20.640 it be successful. They're not going to tone it down. They're going to go full-blown extreme.
00:13:26.300 They're going to lean into the Muslim population. I think we'll see a lot of that at the local and 1.00
00:13:30.540 state level especially. And there needs to be a massive reckoning on the right for what the GOP
00:13:36.060 is doing wrong, blaming Democrats, it's just not going to cut it. And the best news of all
00:13:43.860 is that politics was never the thing that saves us. That would be our Lord and Savior. That is
00:13:49.460 who we call to. That is who we pray to. That is who we answer to. That is who we need. We need
00:13:53.320 Jesus. We need a national revival. We need godly statesmen running for office. But even still,
00:13:58.920 he is still on the throne. And I believe it was his will that was done. The Bible does say that
00:14:03.840 we get the leaders that we deserve. So I think this should be a wake up call for us as individuals,
00:14:08.840 as individual people. We remained red in Tennessee. Too close for comfort, but we remained. We
00:14:14.860 prevailed. With that, do not move to Tennessee. Don't move here. Don't come from Texas. Your
00:14:21.920 Texas was officially a California-ed. Do not Texas my Tennessee. I never thought I would say that.
00:14:27.520 Don't come to Tennessee. Try Florida. I don't know. They probably don't want you either.
00:14:32.180 but in all seriousness stay and fight like like for real stay and fight where you are it almost
00:14:37.960 feels like an impossible decision like what do you do your state goes totally crazy and especially
00:14:42.400 you have kids um what do you do you want the best for them you want the safest and most prosperous
00:14:48.140 for your children how good people leave the states that are turning blue um there's no hope for those
00:14:54.320 states so my advice would be stay and fight like heck for your kids and for their future we'll
00:15:01.500 finish the episode with this video of charlie whatever happens we keep fighting bye guys
00:15:06.440 what do you want to say it's final this is the final i have no idea what will happen
00:15:09.740 but whatever happens we'll keep fighting
