00:00:24.700 Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the Games for Girls podcast.

00:00:27.740 I hope that you're watching on YouTube.com slash OutKick.

00:00:30.640 That's where you can find all things Games for Girls. 1.00

00:00:33.180 You can like, you can comment, you can subscribe so you never miss an episode.

00:00:36.540 I hope you do that.

00:00:37.960 Last week, we had my husband on with me, which is always so much fun.

00:00:41.660 I love getting the comments and the messages from you guys after an episode where he joins

00:00:45.680 because all of you are just enamored with his accent.

00:00:48.660 He's like what I describe as a British cowboy.

00:00:51.840 It's British.

00:00:52.880 Of course, he lived in England until 2018.

00:00:55.860 Actually, he spent some time in.

00:00:56.920 I think he lived seven years in Dubai, lived in Malta, lived in Kuwait, back to England,

00:01:01.120 came to the United States in 2018.

00:01:03.240 So very much a British accent, but it has totally been southernized, which I think is the funniest

00:01:09.240 thing ever.

00:01:09.860 So if you want to hear what a British cowboy sounds like, go back and watch last week's

00:01:14.220 episode.

00:01:14.840 We talked about all things birth of our beautiful baby girl who is just about two weeks, actually

00:01:19.840 a little over two weeks old at this point, which is crazy.

00:01:22.360 Like time is already flying.

00:01:23.660 She's already grown so much.

00:01:25.160 Like I can tell she's heavier too, which is insane.

00:01:28.480 Again, only in two short weeks how much she's grown.

00:01:31.480 We talked about the labor and delivery process, what that looked like, what things went to

00:01:34.860 plan, the birth plan that I had drummed up in my head prior to this experience, what did

00:01:40.180 not go to plan.

00:01:41.000 So again, you can go back and watch last week's episode.

00:01:43.220 But we have exciting stuff ahead for this week.

00:01:45.520 Lots of things to discuss and talk about.

00:01:48.040 Very excited to discuss.

00:01:49.080 I teased this over on my Instagram, which you guys were very excited about, my personal

00:01:54.020 experience with gubernatorial candidate of California, Katie Porter.

00:01:59.140 We'll get into that.

00:01:59.940 But before we do, I number one, want to start this episode, it doesn't feel right, not starting

00:02:04.500 it by acknowledging what yesterday was, which of course is Charlie Kirk's birthday.

00:02:10.400 As probably many of you know now at this point, as I've talked about on Fox News, I've talked

00:02:14.420 about it on my socials, we've talked about it on this podcast, we had a tribute dedicated

00:02:18.260 to Charlie in the days following his assassination.

00:02:23.160 But as you guys probably know, I'm an employee with Turning Point USA, meaning Charlie Kirk

00:02:28.160 was my boss, technically.

00:02:29.940 But more than that, a friend, a mentor, someone that I admired, I mean, deeply.

00:02:37.160 This is someone who had, I don't have to tell you guys this, I mean, the intellect,

00:02:41.400 that the strategy, the willingness, I think that's a big part of it, to do what needed

00:02:46.780 to be done to ensure success, number one, politically, to turn the culture around, but

00:02:51.740 most importantly, to turn people, especially young people, to Christ.

00:02:55.900 And he did it so effectively by simply saying, prove me wrong, which they could not do.

00:03:01.560 So what did they do?

00:03:02.240 They ultimately prematurely ended his life.

00:03:04.660 So I just wanted to start this episode by reminding you all to live a life like Charlie

00:03:09.860 Kirk did, which is ultimately a life that Jesus led.

00:03:13.680 Now, I am not saying that Charlie Kirk himself was Jesus.

00:03:16.860 Of course not.

00:03:17.680 We, as human beings, we are sinners.

00:03:20.540 But we understand that we have a Lord and Savior who walked this earth, who died for our

00:03:26.320 sins on the cross.

00:03:27.460 He was crucified.

00:03:28.300 He rose again three days later with the hope and the promise of eternal life.

00:03:30.980 Charlie knew that.

00:03:31.880 He believed that to be true.

00:03:33.040 I have no doubt that he is sitting in heaven right now, smiling down at the cultural revival

00:03:40.000 that we have seen.

00:03:40.780 Like, it's tossed around a lot.

00:03:41.920 People talk about this revival.

00:03:43.960 I really, really believe it.

00:03:45.640 And we will continue to see that.

00:03:47.100 But not without all of us continuing to put our foot on the gas.

00:03:51.680 Which leads me to talk about something else that has been really good news this week and

00:03:55.120 something that I know Charlie would have been so, so excited about.

00:03:59.040 This is something that he talked about a lot, I mean, to me personally on his socials, was

00:04:04.360 the releasing of the Israeli hostages.

00:04:07.220 As of this week, all living Israeli hostages have been released and freed from captivity

00:04:14.180 by Hamas.

00:04:15.900 This is fantastic news.

00:04:18.520 I talked about this on my socials and I had people coming out and saying, look, you're 0.89

00:04:21.900 being paid $7,000 to post this by Bibi Netanyahu himself, which is the most ridiculous thing 0.97

00:04:27.620 ever. 0.61

00:04:27.920 The things that I have been posting, even what we're going to very briefly discuss on

00:04:31.900 this podcast about the hostages, it's not even a pro-Israel message.

00:04:35.740 It is a pro-releasing of innocent civilians and human beings from captivity, from being

00:04:42.660 held hostage message, okay?

00:04:44.680 So this is fantastic news.

00:04:46.420 I don't care if you're pro-Palestine. 0.92

00:04:47.580 I don't care if you're pro-Israel. 0.75

00:04:48.560 I don't care if you're America first.

00:04:49.900 It doesn't matter.

00:04:50.720 Any day where innocent civilians are released from captivity is a good day.

00:04:55.280 And we certainly have to thank President Trump for it.

00:04:59.740 Man, things would have been very, very different if Kamala Harris was our 47th president of 0.97

00:05:05.980 the United States.

00:05:06.520 Let's watch this.

00:05:07.420 It is very well known that Donald Trump is weak and wrong on national security and foreign

00:05:13.660 policy.

00:05:14.220 Again, I am grateful today and every day that Kamala Harris is not the president of the United

00:05:19.040 States.

00:05:19.460 President Trump made it very clear on his campaign trail, even.

00:05:22.440 Like, this was a promise that he made.

00:05:24.240 He said many, many times in talking to the hostages, we will not abandon you.

00:05:28.740 We will not forget about you.

00:05:30.140 With God's help, we will get you safely returned back home.

00:05:33.540 So just count this as another promise made and another promise kept.

00:05:38.680 The American people should be proud of President Trump delivering on his results.

00:05:44.060 He has been the most consequential president, at least in my lifetime, in my living memory,

00:05:49.040 that's for sure.

00:05:50.100 And the most beautiful part of that is we still have three more years of him.

00:05:53.800 So praise God for that.

00:05:54.760 If you're watching over on YouTube.com slash Outkick, which I hope you are, I'm going to

00:05:58.240 put up an image, a graphic, of the 20 remaining living Israeli hostages that had been released

00:06:04.400 by Hamas this week.

00:06:06.380 And I want you to tell me if you notice anything in particular.

00:06:09.540 I'll give you a few seconds.

00:06:11.240 How about the fact that there are no women, right? 1.00

00:06:13.600 Doesn't take a rocket scientist to be able to pick this out.

00:06:17.240 Now let's ask ourselves the question of why.

00:06:20.000 I believe this to be a pretty rhetorical question.

00:06:22.540 If you know anything about radical Islam, it's a rhetorical question.

00:06:27.740 But even still, let's dissect it.

00:06:29.320 Why would a radical Islamist terrorist organization not have any women who had been spared? 0.99

00:06:36.000 That's because they don't view women as worthy of being spared.

00:06:40.980 It's hard for me to even think about the unspeakable things that have likely been done to these

00:06:46.980 women, these hostages, the women who were held captive by Hamas.

00:06:50.560 I mean, you think back to October 7th, two years ago.

00:06:53.980 So the videos that surfaced on social media, I mean, the gore of it, really.

00:06:58.920 Of course, I would never include that in this podcast, honestly, because it is so graphic.

00:07:02.820 Women on the backs of trucks who, I mean, you could literally see blood coming out from 1.00

00:07:07.440 their clothing where they had been brutally raped, where they had been terrorized.

00:07:12.120 And we can likely conclude that they have been murdered.

00:07:15.680 So the question I want to ask, I mean, pretty directly to the people who claim to be feminists, 1.00

00:07:20.480 the people who claim to care about human rights or more specifically, women's rights,

00:07:25.360 where have you been?

00:07:26.520 Where have you been the past few years?

00:07:28.500 I mean, I'm talking much longer than just going back two years ago to October 7th of

00:07:32.920 2023 when we saw the horrific treatment of these women on videos for the world to see,

00:07:37.600 much longer than that.

00:07:39.260 Sharia law has been around much longer than that.

00:07:42.180 Then if you don't know what Sharia law is, this is the law that is practiced by the radical 1.00

00:07:46.980 Islamic groups that I was talking about.

00:07:49.940 It's practiced in countries like Afghanistan, where there's the Taliban.

00:07:54.100 It's practiced in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq.

00:07:57.040 The list goes on.

00:07:58.740 These women are ultimately denied education. 0.99

00:08:01.300 They're denied literacy.

00:08:02.460 They're forced into marriage as young as nine years old.

00:08:04.560 They can't show their skin or their hair or their face in public. 0.97

00:08:08.500 They cannot speak to men that they are not related to or married to.

00:08:12.180 These are women who are deprived of fundamental human rights. 1.00

00:08:17.580 I am sickened at the weak, honestly, international response.

00:08:21.440 Where has the UN been?

00:08:22.760 And silence from these feminist groups as women are left with fewer rights than dogs have 1.00

00:08:29.700 in many Middle Eastern countries because at least dogs can bark without being imprisoned.

00:08:35.660 We haven't seen any protests on college campuses for these women. 1.00

00:08:38.660 We've seen no statement from the UN.

00:08:40.740 And I think the kicker in all of this is, guess who's funding this?

00:08:45.260 We are.

00:08:46.080 You are.

00:08:46.920 I am.

00:08:47.700 We as American taxpayers are funding this.

00:08:50.360 We are directly funding terrorism. 0.77

00:08:52.200 We are directly funding the oppression of women and girls. 0.99

00:08:54.660 We are directly funding pedophilia, et cetera.

00:08:57.240 The list goes on.

00:08:57.900 And when we send them our taxpayer dollars, I'm grateful for people like Congressman Birchett

00:09:03.280 of Tennessee.

00:09:03.960 He makes me very proud to be a Tennessean for introducing H.R.

00:09:07.540 260, which would end the American funding of the Taliban.

00:09:13.120 It was made public that we're sending them up to $40 million a week.

00:09:18.540 In the wise, wise words of Senator Kennedy, they will hate us for free.

00:09:24.260 We do not have to send them our hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

00:09:28.500 All that to say, and I have no problem saying this out loud and publicly and directly looking

00:09:33.320 into a camera, not all cultures are equal.

00:09:37.260 Radical Islam is not compatible with the West. 1.00

00:09:42.880 Again, Sharia law, let me tell you what it's rooted in. 0.98

00:09:45.440 Pedophilia. 0.96

00:09:46.480 Total oppression of women. 1.00

00:09:48.480 It's rooted in honor killings, forced compliance.

00:09:51.380 It has no place in Western civilization.

00:09:55.920 I want to show you one clip of Alyssa from The View.

00:09:59.700 Watch this.

00:10:00.420 My point when I say I'm not going to be apocalyptic, it's not changing a tune.

00:10:04.600 It's not making every single thing a five-alarm fire.

00:10:07.820 If he does good, if he gets the Israeli hostages out, I promise I will wear a MAGA hat for one 1.00

00:10:11.980 day on the show and say, thank you for doing it.

00:10:14.780 She'll knock it right off my head. 0.95

00:10:16.360 But like, you have to be able to cheer for wins when they happen and then call out relentlessly

00:10:20.820 the wrongdo.

00:10:21.720 Do we think that she will hold up her end of the deal here?

00:10:25.960 Look, I have plenty of MAGA hats that I will happily donate to her to wear on The View.

00:10:31.520 That will probably be, if this happens, which it won't, by the way, it would probably be

00:10:36.240 the most views that The View has had in a really, really long time because lots of people,

00:10:42.440 myself included, would be tuned in to watch this live on television.

00:10:47.540 But again, not likely that's going to happen.

00:10:50.440 As I said, I want to get into this conversation surrounding Katie Porter, partially because

00:10:55.260 I have a personal experience with her that I'm very excited to talk about.

00:10:58.060 Uh, but the videos that have surfaced over the past week or so, uh, many of them have

00:11:03.500 been, you know, several years old, but they're all just now starting to surface.

00:11:07.240 If you don't know who Katie Porter is, she's a former congresswoman from California, and 0.99

00:11:12.400 now she is running to be governor of California. 0.99

00:11:15.360 If you didn't think it could get worse than Gavin Newsom, look, I will let you make up your

00:11:19.480 own mind.

00:11:20.020 You can do that by the end of this episode.

00:11:21.340 But I believe that you would be entirely ill-informed because Katie Porter, uh, I believe her to

00:11:27.120 be the definition of insufferable.

00:11:29.240 Uh, she is entitled. 1.00

00:11:30.740 She is arrogant. 0.99

00:11:31.740 She is out of touch. 1.00

00:11:33.220 And what these videos this past week have really shown us is that she is a downright miserable 0.99

00:11:39.460 human being. 0.96

00:11:40.720 Let's watch this video first of this interview heard around the world.

00:11:43.900 What do you say to the 40% of California voters who you'll need in order to win who voted

00:11:48.260 for Trump?

00:11:48.580 How would I need them in order to win, man?

00:11:51.380 Well, unless you think you're going to get 60% of the vote.

00:11:54.920 You think you'll get 60% all, everybody who did not vote for Trump will vote for you.

00:11:58.640 That's what you're thinking.

00:11:59.480 In a general election?

00:12:00.840 Yes.

00:12:01.680 If it is me versus a Republican, I think that I will win the people who did not vote for

00:12:06.180 Trump.

00:12:06.340 What if it's you versus another Democrat?

00:12:07.860 I don't intend that to be the case.

00:12:10.260 So how do you not intend that to be the case?

00:12:12.560 Do you, are you going to ask them not to run?

00:12:14.860 No, no.

00:12:15.280 I'm saying I'm going to build the support.

00:12:16.680 I have the support already in terms of name recognition.

00:12:19.320 And so I'm going to do the very best I can to make sure that we get through this primary

00:12:22.820 in a really strong position.

00:12:24.060 But let me be clear with you.

00:12:25.380 I represented Orange County.

00:12:27.080 I represented a purple area.

00:12:28.640 I have stood on my own two feet and won Republican votes before.

00:12:31.740 That's not something every candidate in this race can say.

00:12:34.260 If you're from a deep blue area, if you're from L.A. or you're from Oakland, you don't

00:12:39.140 have an experience.

00:12:39.560 But you just said you don't need those Trump voters.

00:12:41.760 Well, you asked me if I needed them to win.

00:12:43.760 So you don't think you need them to win.

00:12:44.240 I feel like this is unnecessarily argumentative.

00:12:46.380 What is your question?

00:12:47.760 The question is the same thing I asked everybody, that this is being called the empowering voters

00:12:53.780 to stop Trump's power grab.

00:12:55.520 Every other candidate has answered this question.

00:12:57.120 This is not argumentative.

00:12:57.960 And I said I support it.

00:12:59.980 So, and the question is, what do you say to the 40% of voters who voted for Trump?

00:13:05.080 Oh, I'm happy to say that.

00:13:06.280 It's the do you need them to win part that I don't understand.

00:13:09.140 I'm happy to answer the question as you have it written and I'll answer it.

00:13:11.960 And we've also asked the other candidates, do you think you need any of those 40% of California

00:13:16.740 voters to win?

00:13:17.420 And you're saying no, you don't.

00:13:18.560 No, I'm saying I'm going to try to win every vote I can.

00:13:21.400 And what I'm saying to you is that.

00:13:24.100 Well, to those voters.

00:13:25.180 Okay, so you.

00:13:26.260 I don't want to keep doing this.

00:13:27.180 I'm going to call it.

00:13:28.180 Thank you.

00:13:30.740 You're not going to do the interview with us.

00:13:32.900 Nope, not like this.

00:13:33.700 I'm not.

00:13:33.980 Not with seven follow-ups to every single question you ask.

00:13:36.800 Every other candidate has answered our follow-ups.

00:13:39.380 I don't care.

00:13:40.040 I want to have a pleasant, positive conversation, which you ask me about every issue on this list.

00:13:45.100 And if every question, you're going to make up a follow-up question, then we're never going to get there.

00:13:50.460 And we're just going to circle around.

00:13:51.860 I am an investigative reporter.

00:13:53.180 I have never had to do this before, ever.

00:13:55.120 You've never had to have a conversation?

00:13:58.020 To end an interview.

00:13:59.760 Okay, but every other candidate has done this.

00:14:01.820 What part of, I'm me.

00:14:04.380 I'm running for governor because I'm a leader.

00:14:06.380 So I am going to make.

00:14:07.820 So you're not going to answer questions from reporters?

00:14:10.440 Okay, why don't we go through.

00:14:11.740 I will continue to ask follow-up questions because that's my job as a journalist.

00:14:15.220 But I will go through and ask these.

00:14:16.800 And if you don't want to answer, you don't want to answer.

00:14:19.480 So nearly every legislative.

00:14:21.560 I don't want to have an unhappy experience with you.

00:14:24.720 And I don't want this all on camera.

00:14:25.960 I don't want to have an unhappy experience with you either.

00:14:28.240 I would love to continue to ask these questions so that we can show our viewers what every candidate feels about every one of these issues that they care about.

00:14:36.880 And redistricting is a massive issue.

00:14:38.540 We're going to do an entire story just on the responses to that question.

00:14:41.840 And I've asked everybody the same follow-up question.

00:14:44.320 If that is Katie Porter with the cameras on, imagine her with the cameras off when the cameras are not around.

00:14:51.000 A couple things.

00:14:51.440 Number one, I think this reporter did a fantastic job at being a reporter, at being a journalist, asking the follow-up questions, even when it was very clear Katie Porter did not want to answer them.

00:15:02.180 Seems like, I mean, bare minimum, right?

00:15:04.360 It should be default, the standard position for a journalist to ask the tough questions, which it's amazing to me.

00:15:10.420 It's considered a tough question to be asked, you know, do you need Republicans to win?

00:15:15.620 That's what Democrats think a tough question is, whatever. 0.98

00:15:19.380 Something that would cause an unhappy or an unpleasant experience, as Katie Porter said she wanted to avoid, which this is all coming back to bite her in the butt. 0.98

00:15:26.820 But the journalist did a good job. 0.72

00:15:28.020 So really well done by her.

00:15:30.600 She stayed even killed. 0.77

00:15:31.600 She wasn't panicking.

00:15:32.720 She, you know, even offered to move on when Katie Porter said, I'm going to get up.

00:15:36.020 I'm not doing this.

00:15:36.760 I've never done this.

00:15:37.440 That's what she says.

00:15:37.940 I'm going to get up.

00:15:38.540 Secondly, I believe Katie Porter in this clip, not only was she vile, I mean, she was unnecessarily combative. 1.00

00:15:44.900 All she really had to say is, I welcome, from the beginning, is I welcome all voters in my camp, even people who voted for Trump.

00:15:51.240 If you voted for Trump and you've been hurt by his policies or his tariffs or his inflation, or, I mean, she could have inserted a thousand things that she believes Trump has done a bad job on.

00:15:59.560 The American people, like myself, would likely disagree.

00:16:02.360 But she could have just said, there's a home for you in my campaign.

00:16:05.880 She couldn't do that.

00:16:07.000 It pained her to even welcome, we know the Democrats hate Trump, right?

00:16:11.660 But it pained her to even be associated with Trump voters, which I think she's forgetting is the majority of America.

00:16:19.820 And while California is a blue state, there was a significant amount in terms of people, right, per capita, people who voted for President Trump.

00:16:27.180 Let it be known, Katie Porter does not want you, she doesn't want your vote. 0.82

00:16:31.300 All right, the next two clips I want to show of Katie Porter, it shows her just absolutely berating her staff. 1.00

00:16:37.500 Let's watch this one first.

00:16:39.180 Oh, yes, this is why I didn't want to, I need the lights off, the bright lights.

00:16:43.500 I'm so sorry, but I am about to get on, Bernard, I need you to turn these off.

00:16:48.300 Turn the lights off?

00:16:49.040 These that are killing me.

00:16:50.880 Hang on one second, everybody.

00:16:53.460 No, we should put the computer on.

00:16:55.140 Yes, yes, we should have, yes.

00:16:58.520 Okay, everybody, I'm not that dark.

00:17:01.860 It's too dark.

00:17:06.900 Just a minute.

00:17:08.740 I watched that clip and then I think to myself, now imagine her running an entire state. 1.00

00:17:13.900 That's a pretty terrifying thought.

00:17:15.940 The thing I'm convinced of, number one, is that her staff hates her, right?

00:17:19.600 Like, they can't enjoy working for her.

00:17:21.680 I mean, I would not appreciate being talked to like that.

00:17:26.040 I don't care who I'm working for.

00:17:27.380 It could be the president himself.

00:17:28.740 It could be, I mean, anyone.

00:17:30.220 I would not appreciate anyone talking to me like that.

00:17:33.960 Secondly, I think you learn a lot about someone based on how they treat people.

00:17:39.020 They don't necessarily have to be nice to, okay?

00:17:41.600 I think a good test here is like the waiter or waitress test.

00:17:46.740 How someone treats the person serving them at a restaurant.

00:17:49.880 This is not someone you have typically a personal relationship with.

00:17:53.380 You don't have to interact very kindly as they're taking your order or bringing you your food.

00:17:59.120 But it's a pretty good test as to someone's character, who they are as a human being.

00:18:04.080 I believe if you're demeaning to certain people because you think you can get away with it, then you're not a good person.

00:18:11.240 And that's what Katie Porter was exhibiting here. 0.72

00:18:14.200 And even if her staff got that lighting right, there is no lighting that would make Katie Porter likable. 1.00

00:18:19.580 Let's watch this video.

00:18:20.720 It's dying prematurely to air pollution and other problems. 1.00

00:18:24.880 And the state could lose, get out of my fucking shot. 0.98

00:18:29.460 I wanted to tell you that that's actually incorrect. 0.98

00:18:32.040 It's not that it's electric vehicles.

00:18:34.140 It's that if you don't need a permit, there's a Paris climate report.

00:18:38.180 Okay.

00:18:38.780 It does.

00:18:39.200 Okay.

00:18:39.740 You also were in my shot before that.

00:18:42.720 Stay out of my shot.

00:18:45.460 Okay.

00:18:45.840 I'm going to start again with electric vehicles saving us money. 0.97

00:18:49.200 The only person who would react this way to someone stepping in your shot is a sociopath. 0.94

00:18:55.940 Okay. 1.00

00:18:56.560 A sociopath. 0.76

00:18:57.180 Um, again, imagine what this woman is like when the cameras are not on. 1.00

00:19:02.640 And it's the fact that this woman was leading, I think still is leading the gubernatorial race 0.96

00:19:06.800 in California.

00:19:07.240 Like this person could potentially, I mean, even has a good chance at being California's

00:19:11.940 next governor.

00:19:13.280 We cannot let that happen.

00:19:14.640 Look, I have like defended California.

00:19:16.460 I'm a Tennessean.

00:19:17.180 We have lots of Californians, people who call themselves really political refugees who are

00:19:21.340 coming to my state, fleeing California.

00:19:23.260 They say they can't do the harmful, discriminatory, radical, destructive policies anymore.

00:19:28.220 They're coming to the free state of Tennessee, a bastion of freedom, really.

00:19:32.580 But look, if California votes Katie Porter as their next governor, then I can't keep defending

00:19:39.380 you guys.

00:19:40.040 I think you get what you deserve at that point.

00:19:41.860 So yeah, this isn't a good look, but shocker, Katie Porter is not the only Democrat who

00:19:47.000 treats her staff this way.

00:19:48.640 The girl boss to bully pipeline is a tale as old as time. 0.54

00:19:52.140 Meghan Markle is another one who is notorious for being a bully and being cruel to her staff 1.00

00:19:57.020 to the point of tears. 0.93

00:19:57.960 Kamala Harris as well.

00:19:58.840 She had a 92% staff turnover rate.

00:20:02.500 Her former aides called her unbearable, saying she created a toxic, chaotic workplace when 1.00

00:20:06.660 she was VP.

00:20:07.700 She allegedly made staff stand and salute her as general when she was the attorney general

00:20:12.300 of California.

00:20:14.420 Who's another one?

00:20:15.440 Jasmine Crockett.

00:20:16.220 That's been another one that's been in the news the past few months.

00:20:18.860 She's accused of cursing at and humiliating her staff, forcing them to do her personal 1.00

00:20:24.220 work for her, using them as chauffeurs and for DoorDash drivers and things like that. 1.00

00:20:29.220 These are some of the most unhappy women you will ever come across. 1.00

00:20:33.980 And you probably are asking yourself the question, how can their husbands even possibly

00:20:38.980 stand them?

00:20:39.880 Well, let me tell you, amidst all of these clips of Katie Porter and her temper tantrums 1.00

00:20:44.020 and her miserable character going viral, resurfaced divorce documents allege that California 0.99

00:20:50.260 gubernatorial contender Katie Porter once dumped scalding mashed potatoes on her ex-husband's 1.00

00:20:56.500 head during a fight.

00:20:57.900 Ex-husband.

00:20:58.320 I know that you are shocked to hear that that marriage did not work out.

00:21:02.360 This article is from the New York Post here.

00:21:04.880 I'm just going to read it because honestly, this is, it's pretty telling.

00:21:08.700 Again, Katie Porter once dumped scalding mashed potatoes on her then-husband's head during 1.00

00:21:13.280 a fight.

00:21:14.360 Resurfaced divorce documents allege as clips of her fiery temper continued to go viral. 1.00

00:21:18.280 The former Golden State Congresswoman's ex-hubby, Matthew Hoffman, filed for divorce in

00:21:21.980 2013 and detailed that the Democrat, who has a reputation for exploding at her staff, frequently 0.90

00:21:27.080 abused him verbally and threw, quote unquote, toys, books, and other objects at him during

00:21:33.560 their marriage.

00:21:34.800 Hoffman also filed for a restraining order from his rage-prone spouse, claiming she would 1.00

00:21:38.760 routinely call him an effing idiot and effing incompetent and shattered a glass coffee pot 0.99

00:21:43.560 in their kitchen counter in March of 2012 when she felt their house wasn't clean enough. 1.00

00:21:49.000 Imagine being married to that.

00:21:50.600 Now, this is what Hoffman says, her ex-husband. 1.00

00:21:53.020 He says, she would not let me have a cell phone because she said, you're too effing dumb 1.00

00:21:57.420 to operate it. 0.99

00:21:58.760 He continues on and says, when she gets angry, she will claw and scratch her arms and then

00:22:02.440 say to me, look at what you made me do.

00:22:04.680 That is sociopathic, psychotic, really, behavior.

00:22:08.040 He goes on, she regularly says that I'm a bad parent in front of the kids.

00:22:11.360 Recently, the children began spitting at me, throwing their food at me, and calling me

00:22:15.460 bad daddy.

00:22:17.120 He claimed that back in 2006, Porter blew up over how he was making mashed potatoes,

00:22:22.300 snapping, saying, can't you read the effing instructions before she raised a ceramic bowl of 0.99

00:22:26.920 steaming hot potatoes and dumped it on my head, burning my scalp, according to the court

00:22:31.500 documents.

00:22:32.860 They were married in 2003, had three children before calling it quits.

00:22:37.120 So she dumped the potatoes on his head in 2006.

00:22:39.240 So she's allegedly been this awful for nearly 20 years, at least.

00:22:45.600 I mean, likely much longer than that.

00:22:47.500 I doubt the potatoes were the first time that she exhibited these characteristics that now we 0.90

00:22:53.200 are all getting to see on full display.

00:22:55.480 Um, I will say after watching all the videos this week, it's pretty easy for me to imagine

00:23:00.220 her dumping potatoes on someone's head. 0.99

00:23:03.740 Uh, this is a woman who has anger issues. 1.00

00:23:06.480 Now I want to tell you about my personal experience with her.

00:23:09.040 Okay.

00:23:09.740 First, I'm going to play a little clip for you.

00:23:11.760 A little context.

00:23:12.700 This was Katie Porter appearing with Piers Morgan on Bill Maher's show.

00:23:16.520 Watch this.

00:23:17.120 You should be able to have a civil debate.

00:23:18.640 Nobody, including Riley Gaines, who I disagree with strongly, should be, should feel physically...

00:23:23.480 What do you disagree with out of intro?

00:23:24.660 Um, I, I think that it should be up to sporting bodies to make the decisions about who and

00:23:31.480 how she can compete. 0.76

00:23:31.660 What has she said that's actually wrong?

00:23:33.660 I think that what she has done is try to turn this...

00:23:37.100 We talked about people, you know, becoming, using things to kind of get likes and get clicks.

00:23:42.520 That's not what she's doing.

00:23:44.080 It's not?

00:23:44.480 I've got no truck for Riley Gaines personally, but all I've seen her do is stand up for women's 1.00

00:23:48.840 rights to fairness and equality.

00:23:50.000 Well, she has been...

00:23:50.300 She actually competed against Leah Thomas, and it was obviously unfair.

00:23:55.140 Leah Thomas won one of the races in the NCAA championships by 50 seconds against a bunch 1.00

00:24:00.420 of biological females who simply couldn't keep up. 1.00

00:24:03.480 That cannot be right.

00:24:05.020 It cannot be fair.

00:24:06.200 That is something that I trust.

00:24:10.300 I think our sporting bodies should be dealing with.

00:24:13.360 And by the way, Riley is speaking up for herself, and that is her prerogative, and I respect

00:24:18.980 her free speech.

00:24:19.920 I think she's speaking up for pretty much every female athlete in the world. 1.00

00:24:23.360 There we go.

00:24:26.660 Katie Porter calling me a grifter or something to the effect, saying that I am doing and

00:24:31.940 have been doing what I have been doing for clicks and likes.

00:24:35.960 It's amazing to me because before this, they were talking about Dylan Mulvaney.

00:24:40.060 If you don't know who Dylan Mulvaney is, I encourage you to look him up on TikTok.

00:24:44.100 This is a man who pretends to be a woman. 0.70

00:24:45.860 He created a song talking about the days of girlhood.

00:24:49.060 He, I mean, it's really deeply and utterly misogynistic, his approach on womanhood or

00:24:55.620 girlhood, and now he's on Broadway.

00:24:57.920 And anyways, I encourage you to go look that up in your free time.

00:25:00.540 I don't want to spend time talking about him.

00:25:02.000 But anyways, prior to this conversation that you saw between Piers and Katie, they were

00:25:06.380 talking about Dylan Mulvaney.

00:25:08.300 She doesn't think Dylan Mulvaney, the most performative, theatrical person there could

00:25:14.440 possibly be, again, mocking women, really.

00:25:16.880 She doesn't think that he does what he does for clicks and likes.

00:25:20.780 But me, on the other hand, a woman defending other women, that's all for my own personal 0.94

00:25:25.620 benefit.

00:25:26.040 Really, Katie, what personal benefit have I had here?

00:25:29.080 I will say, of course, I am so blessed.

00:25:31.320 I am blessed with a fantastic family.

00:25:33.140 I am blessed with fantastic friends.

00:25:35.800 I am blessed to know that, again, I have a Lord and Savior who gives me the hope and the

00:25:40.360 promise of eternal life because he died for my sins.

00:25:42.700 Like, I am blessed beyond belief, really.

00:25:44.340 But to say, especially, I mean, you think back to 2022, a totally different political,

00:25:51.580 social, cultural climate than we're living in in 2025, it was not favorable to say what

00:25:57.220 I was saying, which, I mean, is as simple as men can't become women. 0.97

00:26:01.040 Ooh, I know, scary, right?

00:26:02.760 It wasn't favorable to say that.

00:26:04.280 Like, I've been spit on.

00:26:05.780 I've had drinks poured on me, glass bottles thrown at me. 0.93

00:26:07.980 I've had feces, human feces thrown at me.

00:26:10.900 I mean, I was held hostage, essentially kidnapped in San Francisco where, I mean, I was barricaded

00:26:16.700 behind a door for five hours.

00:26:19.200 I've had, I mean, people call me and just the most obscene, profane, heinous things you

00:26:24.660 could possibly imagine that you could even possibly think.

00:26:28.540 That's what people have said and wished upon me and my family.

00:26:31.040 The list goes on.

00:26:31.700 So if she thinks that I'm taking this position for personal gain, I would love to know what

00:26:37.400 that personal gain is.

00:26:39.360 I have an awesome platform now, and I am so, I wouldn't change anything about what I have

00:26:43.600 done.

00:26:44.340 It has awarded me fantastic relationships.

00:26:46.960 It has given me the lifestyle that I have.

00:26:49.640 It has given me a sense of credibility that people listen to.

00:26:53.220 They value the testimony and the experience that myself and other athletes, especially when

00:26:57.360 it comes to the issue of men and women's sports have.

00:26:59.140 Um, so yes, look, like I wouldn't change a single thing about what I've done, but for

00:27:04.020 Katie Porter to act like it's rainbows and butterflies to be in this position is, she 1.00

00:27:08.960 knows that's not true, but she wants to say it because she, I mean, as Pierce said, she

00:27:13.380 couldn't think of anything she actually disagrees with me on, uh, at least not that she was

00:27:17.300 willing to say.

00:27:17.940 Let's finish up the clip really quick before I keep going about my personal experience with

00:27:21.460 Katie Porter.

00:27:22.160 Uh, let's watch what Bill Maher has to say about this.

00:27:24.120 Wasn't that the point of Title IX, Title IX in the early 70s?

00:27:28.880 It was something that was, uh, it was a major event in feminism that we finally have this 1.00

00:27:33.240 law that says at colleges, right?

00:27:35.080 And I think high schools too, but definitely colleges, women, women's sports have to be 1.00

00:27:39.580 given equal to men's sports so that women aren't getting, you know, and this led to the

00:27:44.160 WNBA and lots of other stuff.

00:27:45.960 This seems to be the opposite of that.

00:27:47.620 It seems to be so many instances, I think, where wokeness is the opposite of what I grew

00:27:53.220 up as liberalism.

00:27:55.360 Liberalism was, let's give the women an equal shot. 1.00

00:27:57.880 I mean, this is, let's put a male in the, in the swimming pool with the women. 1.00

00:28:01.220 I don't get it.

00:28:01.840 It's crazy.

00:28:02.380 And meanwhile, trans people who genuinely want to compete at athletics and swimming or whatever 1.00

00:28:06.900 it may be, they're, they're the ones who are suffering here.

00:28:10.280 They need to be found a way to compete fairly and justly.

00:28:14.320 Well, what's your answer then?

00:28:15.360 I think there's one or two answers.

00:28:16.860 I think they either compete against their biological sex, as many of them did before, or you create 1.00

00:28:22.200 an entirely new category for transgender athletes, and then they're able to compete fairly.

00:28:28.220 But what you cannot do is continue to allow more and more trans athletes to start decimating 1.00

00:28:33.820 women's records.

00:28:34.860 In some cases, irrevocably.

00:28:37.020 It's just not fair.

00:28:38.240 Okay.

00:28:38.560 It's like the most entry-level thing ever.

00:28:40.520 Like women's sports. 1.00

00:28:41.600 Why do we have women's sports if they're not solely for women? 1.00

00:28:45.720 There is no such thing as women's sports if men can play in them. 1.00

00:28:48.780 Like Bill Maher is a pretty traditional lefty.

00:28:53.200 I would say he's one that exhibits spouts of common sense, which I can appreciate.

00:29:00.100 And this is definitely one of those moments.

00:29:02.620 Okay.

00:29:03.420 So this had just happened, this video, when I was called to testify before Congress.

00:29:09.580 Katie Porter was the ranking member of the subcommittee that I was set to testify before.

00:29:15.320 So I was pretty excited, honestly, to be in a situation where I would be able to directly

00:29:22.020 look her in her eye and follow up on some of the things, number one, she said about me

00:29:25.440 personally, and two, the things that, I mean, she said she disagreed with me with.

00:29:29.600 I was curious what those were.

00:29:30.940 So I was excited for this.

00:29:32.320 So I get to Washington, D.C. that day, and I'm standing outside the Capitol, and I see

00:29:36.980 Congresswoman Porter.

00:29:38.780 And we make eye contact.

00:29:40.020 And again, keep in mind, like, we had gone back and forth with each other on social media

00:29:43.760 a few times at this point, with the general public being very much on my side.

00:29:47.900 So she, I'm sure, probably felt like she was in hot water.

00:29:50.900 I felt very confident and secure, not because I had the support from lots of people on social

00:29:55.160 media, because I'm confident and secure in my stand.

00:29:57.460 There's nothing you can throw my way that I'm not able to, honestly, pretty easily offer

00:30:01.800 a rebuttal to.

00:30:02.860 So anyways, I see her.

00:30:03.740 We make eye contact.

00:30:04.940 And it's like the oldest trick in the book.

00:30:06.440 She pulls up her phone to her ear and acts as if she's on a phone call, which, again,

00:30:11.380 like, I see right through that.

00:30:13.120 So I approach her, to which it was very clear she was not on the phone.

00:30:17.100 I say, hello, Representative Porter.

00:30:19.020 My name is Riley.

00:30:20.460 I said, I think you already know who I am, based on your comments you made to Piers Morgan

00:30:25.360 on Bill Maher's show.

00:30:26.560 The only thing she could say to me, she looks at me and she goes, congratulations on being

00:30:31.260 a competitor.

00:30:31.980 I was gobsmacked by this, but nonetheless, I continue on and I say, I have something I

00:30:38.740 would like to address with you. 0.99

00:30:40.280 She, I kid you not, turns around with this, like, I vividly remember she had this stupid 1.00

00:30:45.360 little backpack on and she hightails it, to which I follow her, right? 0.99

00:30:50.360 I continue to follow her and I say, look, the comments that you made were disingenuous

00:30:55.120 and you know it.

00:30:56.280 Never once did she turn around.

00:30:57.480 Never once did she acknowledge me, pass beyond calling me a competitor.

00:31:02.320 It speaks to the total cowardice and just the lack of conviction.

00:31:08.300 Like, these people don't really have conviction.

00:31:10.960 The policies that they stand for, the principles that they, I mean, allegedly get behind and support

00:31:18.020 wholeheartedly, they don't even know why they do.

00:31:20.220 I don't think that Katie Porter actually thinks that I do what I do for clicks and likes.

00:31:25.480 That's never been my basis.

00:31:27.440 I'm not very great at posting on social media or on TikTok or any of that stuff.

00:31:32.420 Like, that's not why I do what I do.

00:31:34.620 Moral conviction is just a foreign concept to some of these people.

00:31:38.100 That's why they call you a grifter is because they can't understand, they can't possibly grasp

00:31:42.820 doing something because it's the right thing to do.

00:31:45.360 Because it's fair, because it's righteous, because it's just, because it's moral.

00:31:49.080 Like, they can't grasp that, so they call you a grifter.

00:31:52.000 She had no problem on national television to, I'm sure, an audience of, I mean, hundreds

00:31:57.080 of thousands, if not millions of people calling me these things, but couldn't say it to my

00:32:01.040 face.

00:32:01.360 The best part about this, I'm ready to test.

00:32:04.340 This was before the hearing that I was called to testify for.

00:32:07.900 So I'm ready to testify for this hearing, okay?

00:32:10.600 Sat down, ready to go.

00:32:12.080 This was right before this.

00:32:13.280 She does not show up.

00:32:14.660 She doesn't show up to the hearing.

00:32:16.340 I don't know why.

00:32:17.700 Was it because she was scared of that confrontation again?

00:32:20.460 She didn't want to be put on blast in front of cameras at this point to a even larger audience

00:32:26.560 to around the world, to all these social clips that would have gone viral, which there actually

00:32:32.000 was a clip that went viral from this hearing.

00:32:34.880 Representative Summer Lee was set to take her place as ranking member because she did not

00:32:39.040 show up.

00:32:39.960 This is a Democrat from Pennsylvania, one of those pesky squad members. 0.85

00:32:42.680 And there was that viral interaction because Summer Lee, Representative Lee, said in her

00:32:47.720 opening monologue, like, I can't believe that I'm forced to sit here and listen to this

00:32:50.600 transphobic bigotry.

00:32:51.920 And then as it was my turn to read my opening testimony, I looked at her and I said, if what

00:32:57.140 you just heard, if my testimony, if that makes me a transphobic bigot, then understand

00:33:01.780 by your own logic, your opening monologue makes you a misogynist.

00:33:05.160 Uh, so I bet you Katie Porter was glad that she missed out on that one. 0.98

00:33:11.080 Anyways, uh, I wonder if more clips will surface of Katie Porter, if more staff members will

00:33:16.960 come out and share their stories.

00:33:18.740 I hope they do.

00:33:19.780 Uh, we will provide them cover and support.

00:33:22.400 Anyways, thank you guys for tuning into the Gains for Girls podcast.
