00:01:00.840 300,000 manufacturing jobs were lost, and our economic future was teetering.
00:01:07.300 Thankfully, the government of Premier Ford was elected and declared Ontario open for business.
00:01:13.300 Taxes were lowered, energy rates lowered, and the burden of red tape was reduced.
00:01:17.860 This brought companies pouring back to Ontario.
00:01:21.560 And now, with Budget 2023, there is even more great news for Ontario manufacturers.

00:02:57.660 new jobs since we were elected. And with the new Ontario-made manufacturing investment tax credit,
00:03:04.900 which will provide $780 million in support over the next three years.
00:03:12.040 We know there will be more investment, more innovation and more jobs.
00:03:17.960 Speaker, thousands of manufacturing jobs have been reshored back to Ontario
