00:00:29.440 Ultimately, Mr. Speaker, for the past 15 years,
00:00:32.920 the Liberals have more than doubled the Ontario debt load.
00:00:37.180 Currently, Ontario has $1.5 million of interest on its debt every hour,

00:00:47.180 we are paying $36 million just to sustain the debt

00:00:53.960 Mr. Speaker, $36 million a day, which could be going to health care, to education, or to protect what matters most, which is the people of Ontario.
00:01:05.660 And so the entire purpose of Bill 124, Mr. Speaker, is to cut down our costs, reduce our debt load, so that we can actually use taxpayer money for what it's meant to be used for, which is enforcing and promoting social services and provincially funded programs instead of paying interest to lenders.
