00:00:05.420 Those people are putting us all at risk.
00:00:08.320 We focus on the far right.
00:00:10.480 Bill C-63, the Online Harms Act.

00:00:29.460 groups in Canada. After receiving hundreds of thousands in grant money over the preceding
00:00:33.760 years, this number jumped to 300 in 2019. That's right, 300 active far-right extremist
00:00:41.120 groups in Canada. Since 2019, there have been many requests to share this list, as well as
00:00:46.500 the methodology behind how these groups were defined and chosen, but her team has still
00:00:51.480 refused to elaborate on their claims, with the university citing academic freedom.
00:00:56.520 Despite its lack of substantiation to the public, this claim has been spread and presented as

00:01:12.120 We're talking about a group that is organized, driven by an extreme ideology.
00:01:16.280 And as you can imagine, the Canadian Anti-Hate Network uses this unproven 300 hate groups
00:01:21.920 claim constantly to bolster their credentials and justify their nefarious agenda.
00:01:27.240 We now have over 300 active hate groups in Canada.
00:01:31.440 300 active groups.
00:01:33.160 300 active groups.
00:01:35.000 So what constitutes a far-right extremist group to the so-called hate experts? A traditionalist
00:01:40.940 church? A fandom for a podcast? Three guys in a group chat? We don't know because they refuse
00:01:47.300 to tell us. What we do know is that Barbara Perry and her colleagues promote egregiously
00:01:52.200 harmful misinformation about whom they openly consider far-right extremists.
00:01:56.820 That was a clip from our upcoming documentary at SaveFreeSpeech.ca.
00:02:01.860 Being branded as hateful or a far-right extremist can ruin someone's life and reputation for
00:02:07.080 simply speaking their mind.
00:02:09.220 These are just the non-legal consequences Anti-Hate uses to intimidate free-thinking Canadian
00:02:14.720 citizens.
