Greg Wycliffe - Cowards Go Home! - Alberta vlog #6

00:00:00.000 good morning good morning the morning of day three it's a miserable rainy day

00:00:11.040 outside today I was just watching some of the footage of some of the vlogs that

00:00:18.540 I've been recording on my phone and man the audio sucks with that one microphone

00:00:26.880 but hey you know you always learn stuff this is just off the cuff content anyway right

00:00:33.700 but uh yeah little side note I hate dongles uh I recorded all my interviews at the trucker convoy

00:00:44.360 on a smartphone that had a headphone jack and you could plug the mic right into the device

00:00:52.500 but now they don't like to make smartphones that have headphone jacks

00:00:58.460 so you need to get a little dongle or a little converter and uh 0.96

00:01:05.220 what the fuck was that what is that did you hear that that squealing sound 0.97

00:01:18.640 uh anyway uh yeah more the hospitality continues with this amazing uh raincoat to deal with the rain 0.99

00:01:31.420 what's this what the hell is that how did I get there was that patch planted

00:01:37.300 but uh I mean that's if I'm wearing that symbol then what does that mean what could that possibly

00:01:46.920 mean about smear this man now end his life and uh yeah this is kind of a big part of why I'm doing

00:01:56.940 this documentary you know the guilt by association the getting smeared for talking to the wrong people

00:02:05.160 believing in the wrong thing or god forbid listening to the wrong podcast consuming the wrong content 0.96

00:02:15.780 it's ridiculous it's ridiculous and uh Canadians need to not be afraid anymore they need to stop 1.00

00:02:25.140 being afraid of these uh communist freaks who try to intimidate you with empty empty threats 0.99

00:02:32.280 and their name calling okay because uh a lot of it comes from the same small small small little group

00:02:41.820 in three kilometers use the from the right lane to take exit 254 for 17th avenue southeast

00:02:47.620 I might have to bleep that on youtube I don't know if they like the word that much

00:02:51.760 there you go there you go future Greg you can edit that um but yeah I uh it's gonna be a much

00:03:02.180 easier day today don't have to do eight hours of driving that's awesome um just I'm actually going to

00:03:11.580 church to Archer Pawlowski's church gonna enjoy the church service but also film a little bit of b-roll

00:03:17.780 so I just I'm just rolling with one camera right now a couple microphones just in case

00:03:23.700 um I'm excited to see like kind of you know just meet the people who go to uh Archer Pawlowski's

00:03:34.460 church service I'm sure they're great people had a spectacular interview with the man last night

00:03:39.560 he gifted me his book lions do not bow no they do not and uh yeah I'm feeling energized from that and

00:03:50.440 it looks like this afternoon there's gonna be a surprise interview that's just kind of fell into

00:03:57.040 my lap the stars have just aligned that's very very exciting uh and it's just one interview today

00:04:04.460 I don't have to drive around too much so that's nice it's gonna be a chill day it's just gonna be

00:04:10.920 dealing with this rain you know dealing with this rain and uh but yeah that's kind of been the theme

00:04:18.400 of the trip you know you can't control the rain you gotta you gotta improvise you gotta make things work

00:04:23.820 the other thing actually I'm gonna remind myself I should be looking ahead to uh pencil in some more

00:04:31.180 interviews there is a doctor that uh has voiced interest in 600 meters use the second from the

00:04:39.120 right lane to take exit 254 for 17th avenue southeast yeah there's some other people as well that I need

00:04:44.260 to pencil actually pencil into the schedule and all that but um but yeah I will uh I will talk to

00:04:53.500 you guys later god bless does remind me a little bit of toronto you know all the construction

00:05:03.100 everywhere your destination is on the right

00:05:06.000 and at least my cry and I know I'm weirdo my cry is crying for justice and that's why I like those

00:05:17.820 movies when I see some form of justice coming I'm saying good for you freedom fighters that were

00:05:25.660 raw raw raw raw raw well they went to bed with Delilah's they went back to the very people that locked

00:05:32.220 them up like animals and murdered their children and their elderly and they did it for comfort they did 0.90

00:05:40.620 it for a paycheck they did it so they can go to a restaurant or play hockey or golf we look at the

00:05:51.260 numbers support we're getting money we can raise god looks at the heart and at our fields let's go to

00:06:03.020 judges 71 he says now announce to the army anyone who troubles with fear may turn back and leave mom

00:06:10.940 kill again so 22 000 men left while 10 000 remain so he had 32 000 people's army warriors ready to

00:06:21.980 fight and god says i don't want cowards cowards go home yeah is that not what we're observing right now

00:06:33.580 only the real deal only the most courageous only the ones that are really sold to god are remaining

00:06:41.660 at their post

00:06:51.660 i just came from arthur's church it's really wet outside uh parking the truck downtown calgary was very

00:07:01.820 annoying and now i'm now at a friend's condo really nice but um i'm really hungry and frustrated

00:07:10.300 right now just because all these phone calls anyway trying to line up more interviews i thought it was

00:07:16.540 gonna be a simple day it's uh not not so much because it's already one o'clock and i have to i have to eat

00:07:24.140 and also figure out this interview anyway

00:07:27.900 check check check oh nice you can see it

00:07:39.660 cool all right driving at night driving at night through calgary

00:07:45.500 this is the end of day three feels like it's been way longer than uh day three

00:07:57.420 i got the fourth interview done today surprise interview

00:08:05.260 uh didn't know this person was going to be in calgary at the time

00:08:08.860 it was it was great great interview uh i got it done earlier in the evening earlyish evening

00:08:19.100 but uh hung around you know it's someone who i definitely consider a friend

00:08:24.620 it's someone who

00:08:30.300 i think they're one of the most persecuted people in the country and uh

00:08:39.180 yeah it's something you know it's something that pisses me off

00:08:43.180 it pisses me off uh to see a friend be wronged by our country

00:08:50.460 so it was great to capture his story

00:08:58.780 in high definition and uh

00:09:04.940 i am getting baptized tomorrow do you hear that i'm getting baptized tomorrow you hear that mom

00:09:12.380 getting baptized by archer paulowski tomorrow that's the plan tomorrow

00:09:18.860 um

00:09:23.420 and yeah i'm i'm quite scared uh i asked archer about it is there anything i need to know

00:09:32.460 and he said i'm gonna ask you three questions

00:09:36.620 before you're baptized he says he's gonna ask me if i believe in jesus

00:09:43.580 which is which is you know simple i do believe in jesus christ i believe he died for our sins

00:09:56.860 i believe he was resurrected three days later

00:10:01.100 i believe he's the son of god blah blah blah

00:10:02.940 uh um i genuinely believe that that one's simple i think uh for me where i'm at that one's simple the

00:10:13.980 second one though not so simple the second one is uh

00:10:18.780 uh you know will you turn away

00:10:25.340 from your sinful ways or i forget how he phrased it

00:10:31.500 and i guess like

00:10:34.620 obviously i want to be able to say yes to that

00:10:36.620 and maybe i'm thinking about that the wrong way but to me i hear that and it's like

00:10:45.980 do you agree to be perfect for the rest of your life like that's what it sounds like

00:10:51.180 and it's like how do i agree to that how can i agree to that

00:10:57.100 you know i think since warming up to christianity i have felt

00:11:05.020 more

00:11:09.260 guilt or shame

00:11:13.820 for my sinful behaviors and it's made me think about it a lot more

00:11:20.700 in a way that's concerning where like maybe before i would be like oh whatever

00:11:26.940 before i believed in sin you know that's not even real whatever

00:11:39.820 but i think about it differently now i think about it

00:11:42.060 every choice we make

00:11:49.020 has a consequence and it has a moral weight to it

00:11:56.700 um

00:12:00.140 yeah

00:12:02.060 anyway

00:12:04.300 i'm excited to sleep in tomorrow

00:12:06.140 street church with archer brevlowski feeding the homeless starts at 1 p.m

00:12:16.700 then after that i get baptized

00:12:21.900 and

00:12:22.220 uh

00:12:25.500 yeah tonight i'm gonna go home i'm gonna start unloading the sd cards

00:12:32.140 i don't think i'm not gonna do any interviews tomorrow so i'm kind of excited to have a day off

00:12:40.460 of a day off decompress

00:12:43.660 i might try to go to the gym

00:12:46.300 as well

00:12:48.220 i definitely need to pray more tonight

00:12:51.100 because i'm getting baptized that's some advice i got at church today

00:12:54.300 that i should pray more

00:12:58.060 i'm tired

00:13:01.180 god bless have a good night guys
