00:00:00.000 I promise you, I will not let you down.
00:00:03.320 The trucks parked outside illegally should move.
00:00:07.540 Canada's Conservatives will meet our Paris climate commitment.
00:00:11.260 Enough with the woke f**k.
00:00:13.340 So, Mr. Speaker, I take that back.
00:00:14.960 To champion our Conservative principles.
00:00:17.200 We are the party of law and order.
00:00:19.080 To call in the auditors.
00:00:20.400 We haven't yet decided whether we're going to call for the government to impose a mandatory test or vaccination.
00:00:26.640 And we will win the next election.
00:00:30.000 Canada must not ignore the reality of climate change.
00:00:51.180 Well, what they needed is vaccines.
00:00:53.200 That was the one job he had.
00:01:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to episode two of Controlled Opposition.
00:01:07.620 I am Greg Wycliffe and, of course, our very special guest host, the one and only Jeremy McKenzie, straight from the log pile.
00:01:15.460 How are you doing tonight, sir?
00:01:17.660 I'm good, man.
00:01:18.480 How are you?
00:01:19.120 How are you making out?
00:01:19.900 I'm doing well.
00:01:20.700 I'm doing well.
00:01:21.300 You know, last episode, we covered so many important topics.
00:01:24.400 We kind of went at this topic of fake opposition or controlled opposition.
00:01:29.960 And I thought we covered a lot of great themes, specifically for the Conservative Party of Canada.
00:01:34.160 You know, what do they talk about versus what do they not talk about?
00:01:38.420 And also, the very alarming pattern we're seeing, the most important one I think that we're going to revisit tonight,
00:01:44.740 is how they refuse to get morally outraged about certain things that really deserve people to be morally outraged about.
00:01:54.520 But yesterday, I was at the Jordan Peterson protest.
00:01:59.600 And as we all know, Pierre Polyev made a video standing up for Jordan Peterson.
00:02:05.940 And it was great to see people out there, you know, standing up for freedom of speech.
00:02:08.900 And Jordan Peterson, who was being muzzled by the College of Psychologists for having the wrong political opinion.
00:02:14.380 But at the same time, in the back of my head, and at the tip of everyone's tongues, by the way, at that protest as well,
00:02:19.820 was, well, why didn't Pierre Polyev stand up for the doctors who got their licenses taken away?
00:02:26.160 The nurses who are still not back to work?
00:02:28.520 And the many, many other people, like yourself, who have been persecuted for your political opinion.
00:02:33.380 So we're going to try to open, or sorry, answer that question.
00:02:36.380 Why didn't Pierre Polyev stand up for all these other Canadians?
00:02:40.440 What comes to mind for you, first and foremost?
00:02:42.920 How are we going to answer this question, Jeremy?
00:02:45.220 Votes!
00:02:46.020 You know, you said it's, you know, moral outrage.
00:02:49.080 You have to have strong moral convictions in the first place to be outraged about.
00:02:53.220 So I suppose having a deficiency of that would, you know, create kind of a vacuum to where people would normally respond.
00:02:59.180 And, you know, some kind of, you know, passionate, righteous fury at some kind of wrong being committed.
00:03:04.660 They kind of just, you know, instead, because it doesn't concern them.
00:03:10.240 As far as this situation goes, I, you know, like, it's true.
00:03:14.200 It's funny.
00:03:15.140 It's convenient, you know.
00:03:16.200 But it's not that this isn't a free speech issue for them, because if that were the case, where are they?
00:03:22.740 Where have they been on all of these censored, suppressed, and silenced doctors and expert professionals from all kinds of fields all over the nation?
00:03:30.900 Paramedics, police officers, hospital staff, educators.
00:03:34.360 It doesn't matter.
00:03:35.300 They were all silenced and pushed away.
00:03:36.660 But now, all of a sudden, we care about free speech.
00:03:38.740 Well, it looks to me like you only care about free speech that is congruent with your electoral platform.
00:03:44.180 And if, you know, Mr. Peterson had been very, you know, being silent for his outspoken opinion on, say, mass migration or perhaps the United Nations or something like this,
00:03:55.160 I feel like the odds of the Conservative Party's opposition participating in his defense would be significantly diminished.
00:04:01.040 Absolutely, that's a great point, because really it comes back to this disappearing issue of the vaccines,
00:04:09.260 the disappearing issue of the restrictions, the disappearing issue of how a lot of these rules and regulations that are being imposed upon Canadian society,
00:04:18.980 which is happening across the world in various different ways, does not seem to be something that the Conservative Party of Canada wants to talk about,
00:04:25.920 even though it seems to be the cause of so much despair and authoritarian behavior coming from the current Trudeau regime.
00:04:34.360 The sudden elephant in the room.
00:04:36.420 Yes, yes, which nobody seems to want to talk about because the media, right?
00:04:42.140 The meat, this comes back to the strategy, the strategy argument that people will say.
00:04:48.960 And you know what?
00:04:49.280 I'll just actually bring it up on screen here as well.
00:04:51.460 So Dina commented on our last episode saying Pierre and his team are playing it smart right now.
00:04:57.100 They are distancing themselves from the topic because the findings from the commission aren't fully out yet
00:05:01.960 and all the stupid people who listen to the CBC would have a field day with him
00:05:05.660 and the attacks which could damage his chances of winning in the next election.
00:05:09.800 I rather Polyev than Trudeau any day.
00:05:12.060 And then just to echo that, someone else said,
00:05:13.900 don't forget, Pierre Polyev has to speak to Liberals as well.
00:05:16.980 Still lots of easy-to-trigger Liberals out there.
00:05:18.900 He is being careful.
00:05:20.460 So this whole cautious argument that we've heard many, many times before.
00:05:25.200 What are you afraid of?
00:05:26.040 What's the problem?
00:05:26.660 Because they're not too concerned with upsetting us.
00:05:32.040 No, not at all.
00:05:33.260 Not at all.
00:05:35.060 No, not whatsoever.
00:05:36.820 And this comment gives the excuse of they're playing it smart right now
00:05:42.260 because the Emergencies Act inquiry is coming out later.
00:05:45.960 I've heard many arguments like that.
00:05:47.700 Oh, well, once Pierre Polyev is the leader of the opposition party,
00:05:51.560 that's when he's going to be more vocal.
00:05:53.720 No, no, no.
00:05:54.060 Once he's the leader of the country and prime minister,
00:05:56.340 that's when he's going to be more vocal.
00:05:58.240 No, no, no.
00:05:58.540 Only once the inquiry is done, that's when he's going to be more vocal.
00:06:01.240 Just pushing it off more and more, right?
00:06:02.960 I've kind of echoed a little bit of this on my podcast, I think, last night.
00:06:06.400 I can't remember when.
00:06:08.100 Whenever the state wants something to happen, it must be done immediately.
00:06:11.860 Whenever there's something that has to be addressed or looked at,
00:06:13.960 it needs to happen yesterday.
00:06:15.500 When the public, you know, there's an inquiry or something,
00:06:18.740 well, we'll see how it goes.
00:06:20.660 It's going to be a few years.
00:06:21.940 It's, you know, there's paperwork involved.
00:06:24.240 And, well, we'll wait until late.
00:06:25.600 We can push that off until passions have died down
00:06:28.420 and people don't really care anymore.
00:06:29.640 And that's kind of the strategy.
00:06:30.940 They just delay, delay, delay until no one really cares anymore.
00:06:33.880 And it's the 24-hour news cycle.
00:06:35.260 People will be outraged about something else tomorrow,
00:06:36.900 so we'll just kind of push it off.
00:06:39.260 And, again, another last episode,
00:06:41.520 we noticed a pattern between the fake accountability of the news media
00:06:45.660 and the fake opposition of this conservative party.
00:06:49.820 And very similarly to that, the news cycle happened,
00:06:52.660 or the opposition cycle happens the same way,
00:06:54.860 where they'll be talking about something came out in the Washington Post,
00:06:58.880 I think, two months ago, saying,
00:07:00.900 oh, did you know if you're healthier,
00:07:02.660 you'll have a better chance against COVID?
00:07:04.900 And that came out in 2022.
00:07:06.740 We were saying that in 2020, getting called lunatics,
00:07:09.860 conspiracy theorists, dangerous people for saying the exact same thing.
00:07:13.580 And paying the price for it, paying the consequences.
00:07:15.260 See, this current crop of supposed opposition leaders,
00:07:18.100 these supposedly, you know, we're fighting for you.
00:07:20.800 They remind me of guys, you know,
00:07:22.260 because I bring these examples up all the time,
00:07:24.380 because that's my whole life.
00:07:25.480 That's what I did.
00:07:26.000 I did nearly 15 years in the military,
00:07:27.540 and there was odd guys in there that would go to things like,
00:07:30.780 you know, paratrooper courses or special forces selections and so on
00:07:34.440 and find out, this sucks.
00:07:36.280 This is very difficult, and I don't like this.
00:07:38.740 So they like the idea of being something,
00:07:41.520 but they don't want to pay the price for it.
00:07:43.180 So they like the idea.
00:07:43.960 They want the image of being, I'm the opposition,
00:07:46.240 I'm the rebel, I'm the resistance.
00:07:47.800 But they don't want to pay the price that comes with that.
00:07:49.800 They don't want to have the hit pieces.
00:07:51.580 I mean, look what's been done.
00:07:52.520 Look what's happened to, you know, Mr. Sloan, Bernier, Hillier,
00:07:58.400 all of these guys.
00:07:59.060 Like, when you go out and you get, that's part of the game.
00:08:01.180 And they see that's what happens, and they're like,
00:08:02.760 I'm going to rather, I want to just try to somehow maintain this facade
00:08:07.800 of I'm your guy and I'm fighting for you,
00:08:09.800 but I don't want to get wet.
00:08:11.320 I don't want to go out in the rain, though.
00:08:12.980 So if I could somehow have my cake and eat it, too, that would be great.
00:08:16.100 That's not how real life works.
00:08:17.460 If you want to go out there and get dirty and fight,
00:08:20.040 you're going to have to.
00:08:20.900 You can't hide on the bench and make some YouTube videos here and there
00:08:24.620 and be like, oh, see, I'm on your side,
00:08:26.280 and I've paid no price for it.
00:08:27.540 I have no skin in the game, and I'm risking nothing.
00:08:29.560 That's how you know I'm sincere.
00:08:31.820 And this is their excuse for not standing up for us, right?
00:08:35.900 I mean, it's because, oh, I don't want my job to be hard.
00:08:39.120 I don't want to get called names by the media.
00:08:41.120 It's like, well, people are suffering out here,
00:08:42.980 especially the unvaccinated,
00:08:44.620 especially people who are actually being vocal
00:08:46.240 about what's happening in this country
00:08:47.380 because you're not an opposition party.
00:08:50.200 And it really is.
00:08:52.060 I'm noticing that the more we talk about this on this show,
00:08:56.100 the more disgusted we're going to both become.
00:08:59.080 I'm already noticing that.
00:09:00.820 That's my goal.
00:09:01.920 I'm trying to just raise disgust less to the maximum,
00:09:04.880 and then that way maybe somebody will decide
00:09:07.000 that something needs to be done finally.
00:09:08.780 Yeah, and, you know, like you said last week,
00:09:11.340 it's okay to demand higher standards.
00:09:14.540 Yes, it is.
00:09:15.120 I'll take disgust over apathy.
00:09:17.220 That disgust is far more useful than apathy.
00:09:19.660 You know, as the Terminator once said,
00:09:21.480 anger is more useful than despair.
00:09:23.500 So, you know, he's right.
00:09:24.900 He's an advanced cyborg from another dimension.
00:09:26.600 He's definitely smarter than me.
00:09:28.240 Without a doubt.
00:09:28.980 And the double standards, you know,
00:09:31.380 we call out the hypocrisy.
00:09:33.680 We call out all the stuff that the liberals do all the time.
00:09:36.120 You know, they're so dishonest.
00:09:37.160 It's so slanted.
00:09:38.100 But, like, the double standards are really egregious.
00:09:41.800 You know, like, it's gotten to the point where they're so normal,
00:09:43.840 but it really is so unacceptable.
00:09:46.680 You know, if a protester,
00:09:47.760 if a protester got trampled by a police horse
00:09:50.500 at a Black Lives Matter protest,
00:09:53.080 we would never hear the end of it.
00:09:55.180 We would never hear the end of it.
00:09:56.600 The mainstream media would go off.
00:09:58.200 White supremacy, patriarchy, evil police officers, racism, racism, racism,
00:10:03.500 evil conservatives, ad nauseum.
00:10:05.500 Same way that they still sort of refer way back to, like,
00:10:08.780 Harper and how he muzzled scientists.
00:10:10.900 Like, that still comes up to this day.
00:10:12.440 It's just not real leadership
00:10:14.460 because real leadership is putting yourself out there in harm's way
00:10:17.820 for the benefit of, like, you just do what you got to do.
00:10:20.080 And they see a situation like that and they go,
00:10:22.000 well, you know, with the group chats of the RCMP celebrating,
00:10:26.740 oh, it was so great.
00:10:27.560 I love smashing those people.
00:10:28.820 I can't wait to do more of it.
00:10:29.860 They had nothing to say about that.
00:10:30.940 Or they axed themselves, the behavior after the fact
00:10:33.240 or the behavior itself, because they're like,
00:10:35.160 well, I don't want to get tied to this
00:10:37.240 and have people say this or think that,
00:10:38.800 so I'm just going to stand back and not.
00:10:40.640 It's wrong.
00:10:41.780 This is a wrong, this is like Stasi-level activity
00:10:45.220 where you have police officers investigating people
00:10:47.240 for the other ideologies, bank accounts being frozen,
00:10:49.520 people being brutally, violently beaten in the street
00:10:51.880 by state police.
00:10:53.140 This is not okay.
00:10:55.060 This is not okay.
00:10:55.880 I don't care what your strategy is.
00:10:58.180 If your strategy is to permit evil acts to go unchallenged
00:11:02.280 because you're thinking about winning an election,
00:11:03.860 you're not a leader.
00:11:04.900 You're a businessman.
00:11:05.880 And the left is so good at blowing these moral issues
00:11:11.840 out of the water.
00:11:12.940 They create this so much theater,
00:11:14.940 so much talking points around it.
00:11:18.240 And guess what?
00:11:18.860 It's worked.
00:11:19.540 It works and it's powerful
00:11:20.940 and it connects with people on an emotional level,
00:11:23.480 not some sort of analytical financial argument level,
00:11:26.860 on an emotional level.
00:11:28.360 And when we have this egregious things going on,
00:11:31.160 everything you just listed,
00:11:32.820 you know, it's making my blood pump a lot
00:11:34.600 just talking about it.
00:11:36.020 And they use this, like, pernicious cloud of shame and guilt.
00:11:42.120 We'll just, that's basically their primary thought.
00:11:43.900 When you start, you want to say,
00:11:45.380 you have, like, a moral issue like that.
00:11:46.660 Like, why are the police beating unarmed people in the street?
00:11:49.340 And we can't, they always shift the conversation away
00:11:51.820 to, like, how you're a bad person for thinking that.
00:11:54.980 And you're bad, and how can you even say,
00:11:57.400 don't you, the poor people of Ottawa,
00:11:59.700 they had to listen to honking and the victims
00:12:01.940 and all this kind of stuff.
00:12:02.840 You're bad, shame on you, how dare you?
00:12:04.680 This is an occupation.
00:12:05.840 You're bad, shame on you, how dare you?
00:12:07.380 The Russians are probably involved.
00:12:08.780 Shame on you, how dare you?
00:12:09.580 That's always their go-to move.
00:12:11.460 And that works on people that have very, you know,
00:12:15.020 very little moral conviction.
00:12:16.400 They don't really know where they stand,
00:12:17.620 so they get confused, they get uncertain,
00:12:19.900 and it just takes the wind out of your sails.
00:12:21.840 But when you have people that have strong moral convictions
00:12:23.620 and a good foundation on what's right and wrong,
00:12:26.320 it just goes right, it's like water off a duck.
00:12:29.100 Like, I keep talking.
00:12:30.140 It means nothing to me.
00:12:31.380 It doesn't change the fact of what happened.
00:12:33.140 That's wrong, that's wrong, that's wrong.
00:12:35.260 You're wrong, and I am never going to shut up about it.
00:12:37.600 I don't care what names you call me.
00:12:39.140 Big deal.
00:12:40.480 The police are beating people in the street.
00:12:42.780 Okay, that's the issue,
00:12:44.180 not your perceived, you know, victimhood, okay?
00:12:47.320 And we have a conservative party
00:12:49.420 and conservative party supporters
00:12:50.740 who are justifying the minimizing of this issue
00:12:54.340 and saying, no, we need to talk about this.
00:12:56.080 We can't talk about this,
00:12:57.200 or else we're going to get shamed.
00:12:58.760 And that's the greater issue.
00:13:00.740 It's not just that isolated,
00:13:03.340 like it happened in a vacuum,
00:13:04.460 that situation with the RCMP in Ottawa.
00:13:06.700 They lack the ability to go into issues like this
00:13:10.000 where there's a clear right,
00:13:10.940 like something really wrong has happened,
00:13:12.500 and they count, well, politically, I don't know.
00:13:14.820 They always back down.
00:13:16.560 They don't have the guts to go to the,
00:13:18.240 you know, to use a hockey terminal.
00:13:19.620 They don't go into the corners.
00:13:21.260 They don't go into the hard areas
00:13:22.500 where they're going to get a bloody nose,
00:13:24.020 and it's going to get nasty,
00:13:25.260 and they just, they don't have the stomach for it.
00:13:26.960 And they back away, and the other side doesn't.
00:13:29.380 They'll go right in there, and they have no shame.
00:13:31.400 They will play dirty.
00:13:32.660 They'll call you whatever name.
00:13:33.580 They'll smear.
00:13:34.140 They'll lie.
00:13:35.000 They'll cheat.
00:13:35.460 They don't care.
00:13:36.220 And that's why they win.
00:13:37.460 They're willing to go further.
00:13:38.560 Then they'll go to these hard places,
00:13:40.200 and they don't, they're not shy about it.
00:13:42.080 That is absolutely why they win.
00:13:44.040 The left blows these moral issues out of the water,
00:13:47.180 and the conservatives are afraid to even touch it.
00:13:49.900 This strategy of silence is minimizing,
00:13:52.540 and, you know, the suffering of Canadian,
00:13:55.560 everyday Canadians happening right now.
00:13:57.360 You know, during the pandemic,
00:13:58.640 many people were suffering in silence
00:14:00.080 because the mainstream media and our politicians
00:14:02.100 were refusing to bring attention to this,
00:14:03.900 and now the conservative party,
00:14:05.660 with their epic strategy, epic strategy,
00:14:07.980 is saying, no, like, you know,
00:14:09.460 don't, we don't need to talk about the suffering
00:14:12.380 that you guys are experiencing
00:14:13.900 because that's going to make us look bad.
00:14:17.000 This is the strategy the last team ran as well.
00:14:20.920 And the team before that.
00:14:23.720 So let's repeat the losing strategy again,
00:14:26.440 but we've got Milhouse now.
00:14:27.940 So that, it should shake out somehow
00:14:30.020 because he's got glasses, people like him.
00:14:33.600 Yeah, and really, I think the best thing
00:14:35.840 that's going for the popularity of Pierre Palliev
00:14:37.920 is how awful Trudeau has become,
00:14:41.840 how awful this country is becoming, right?
00:14:44.300 Like, that is, in a way,
00:14:46.060 the biggest argument to vote for Pierre
00:14:48.320 is how terrible things are getting,
00:14:49.940 and that is not a good argument
00:14:52.160 to vote for somebody, how bad things are, right?
00:14:55.560 Yeah, I also don't like,
00:14:56.760 and, you know, one of the comments there
00:14:57.760 that you posted were people,
00:15:00.560 just kind of in this thought,
00:15:02.160 and, you know, conservative strategists
00:15:04.820 and stuff will say, too,
00:15:05.500 is like, well, we have to pander more,
00:15:06.800 like they mentioned the liberal voters.
00:15:08.440 They have to, we have to talk to them, too.
00:15:10.120 That's the only people they care
00:15:11.540 to talk about and talk to.
00:15:12.860 They don't care at all
00:15:13.780 what everyone else's response is.
00:15:15.860 It's how are the liberal base going to react?
00:15:17.680 How's the liberal media going to react?
00:15:19.500 We have to always, you know,
00:15:20.960 they're framing the playground
00:15:22.760 that everybody gets to play in,
00:15:24.080 and that's where it goes,
00:15:25.900 and there's very little attention
00:15:28.500 or cares paid to the other side
00:15:31.300 of it and how these people think about it.
00:15:32.600 It's all about what are they going to think
00:15:34.540 and what are they going to say
00:15:35.380 rather than what's right and wrong.
00:15:37.300 Absolutely.
00:15:37.980 Someone said, Colleen,
00:15:39.560 we got to have someone run the country.
00:15:41.520 Choose the lesser of two evils.
00:15:42.960 I'd rather have Pierre than Justin,
00:15:44.500 and then Karen chimes in,
00:15:46.200 less of two evils is still evil, though.
00:15:48.480 Remember that?
00:15:49.440 That's exactly how,
00:15:50.340 playing the lesser of two evils
00:15:51.840 is how we got here.
00:15:53.480 So how do you think,
00:15:54.260 where will we be in 10 more years doing this?
00:15:56.240 And my father always says,
00:15:57.540 you know, I've tired,
00:15:59.100 I've heard him say this a couple of times,
00:16:00.200 I'm so tired of voting people.
00:16:01.760 I've been voting people out my entire life.
00:16:03.840 Just once,
00:16:04.460 I would love to vote someone in.
00:16:07.020 Wouldn't that be nice?
00:16:09.020 Wouldn't that be nice?
00:16:09.980 It almost seems like a dream.
00:16:11.540 And I do want to bring up this one comment,
00:16:15.820 because it is painful to live in Canada right now,
00:16:18.280 and this guy kind of speaks to that pain.
00:16:20.260 Nice conversation, guys.
00:16:21.400 This is from last episode.
00:16:22.620 I like Polyev.
00:16:23.360 I know most politicians break their promises,
00:16:24.980 and he may do the same.
00:16:26.080 I'm 58 years old and know the game by now,
00:16:28.160 but as usual,
00:16:28.900 who the hell do you vote for?
00:16:29.880 In Canadian politics,
00:16:31.240 it's like trading one used car for another used car.
00:16:34.820 People I know just want Trudeau to go,
00:16:36.680 and could care less who takes over.
00:16:38.620 This is the reality in Canada.
00:16:39.980 Not many choices.
00:16:41.080 I will vote blue next election.
00:16:42.540 I have no choice.
00:16:44.120 I really love the used car analogy.
00:16:46.880 Do you really need another used car, though?
00:16:51.660 There's something to be said for taking the power out of it.
00:16:54.860 They talk about the vote splitting and stuff,
00:16:57.020 because I've voted PPC in the last couple of elections.
00:16:59.080 If that wasn't an option,
00:17:00.360 I wouldn't have voted at all,
00:17:02.060 because I don't consent.
00:17:03.640 I don't like.
00:17:04.600 These people don't represent me.
00:17:06.020 We're not the same.
00:17:06.860 I don't identify with what they're saying,
00:17:08.380 their values, their behavior.
00:17:10.380 So I'm not participating.
00:17:11.840 That is me consenting, going,
00:17:13.500 well, this is the best we can do.
00:17:14.980 So I choose to,
00:17:17.340 I'm not participating,
00:17:18.400 because I don't believe in any of these candidates.
00:17:21.340 I don't believe in any of these options.
00:17:22.560 It's like, choose one terrible option or the other.
00:17:25.140 I'm good.
00:17:26.200 You know, I'm good.
00:17:26.700 At least that way,
00:17:28.020 you know, you can say,
00:17:29.400 this isn't, you know,
00:17:30.240 I didn't help.
00:17:32.740 But you could,
00:17:34.120 you know,
00:17:34.400 I tell people to like,
00:17:35.380 look, just focus on yourself
00:17:36.480 and your friends and your family
00:17:37.400 and your immediate,
00:17:38.180 you know,
00:17:38.900 the world you can affect
00:17:40.600 and can help
00:17:41.400 because if you're getting too stressed out about this
00:17:44.460 and spending too much time focused on this,
00:17:45.900 you're going to drive yourself crazy
00:17:47.000 because it's not really,
00:17:47.940 you know,
00:17:48.200 they're not listening to you
00:17:49.160 and that's the problem.
00:17:49.960 They don't care.
00:17:50.620 They care what the liberal media says.
00:17:52.360 They care what their foreign-funded,
00:17:54.400 unelected, billionaire plutocrats
00:17:57.500 around the world
00:17:58.200 that set their policy for it.
00:17:59.580 They care what they think.
00:18:00.540 That's why they go to these,
00:18:01.540 you know,
00:18:02.060 conferences around the world.
00:18:02.900 It's not just, you know,
00:18:03.640 all about the World Economic Forum.
00:18:04.840 There's Davos happening this week.
00:18:05.880 They have them all,
00:18:07.140 there's four or five,
00:18:08.020 six of them a year
00:18:08.760 and there's a tremendous amount
00:18:11.220 of foreign influence in this country
00:18:12.480 and they care much more about what that,
00:18:15.960 I mean,
00:18:16.200 someone like Bill Gates
00:18:18.480 or, you know,
00:18:19.880 George Soros, right,
00:18:21.140 or Klaus Schwab
00:18:21.860 has far more influence in this country
00:18:24.000 than the citizens of this country
00:18:25.620 and that's a problem.
00:18:26.740 That is a huge problem.
00:18:28.660 That is,
00:18:29.080 absolutely.
00:18:29.980 You absolutely nailed it
00:18:31.020 and for people watching
00:18:33.020 and asking the question,
00:18:35.220 what is the answer though, guys?
00:18:36.820 What is the answer?
00:18:37.720 Well,
00:18:38.000 what we can try to change
00:18:39.380 with this conversation
00:18:40.560 and by being more morally outraged
00:18:42.600 about what's going on in this country
00:18:43.780 is we can put pressure
00:18:45.320 on the conservative party
00:18:46.780 to be beholden to the people,
00:18:48.740 to fear the people
00:18:50.340 because right now,
00:18:51.200 this is the problem.
00:18:52.160 We have a conservative party,
00:18:53.780 we have an official opposition
00:18:54.820 who is more beholden to the media,
00:18:57.600 more fearful of the media
00:18:59.580 and, you know,
00:19:00.820 all the money behind the scenes.
00:19:02.360 That is the problem
00:19:03.540 that we can try to solve.
00:19:05.080 That is the solution
00:19:06.040 to try and put the pressure
00:19:07.280 on the conservative party
00:19:10.000 to fear the people once again
00:19:11.960 and you might say,
00:19:12.580 oh, well, how do we do that?
00:19:13.400 Well, the trucker convoy
00:19:14.960 certainly accomplished something
00:19:16.880 and I think that
00:19:18.040 the opposite of helping this situation
00:19:19.960 is sitting on the couch
00:19:21.540 and just having faith in PP.
00:19:23.380 I'm just going to sit on the couch
00:19:24.380 and wait to vote for Pierre Polyev.
00:19:28.060 It's resignation.
00:19:29.380 It's surrender in a way.
00:19:30.720 It's just this apathetic
00:19:31.620 throwing your hands up.
00:19:32.380 Well, I mean,
00:19:33.120 I got to pick the blue guy
00:19:34.280 because there's nothing left.
00:19:35.660 Why don't you get some friends
00:19:36.940 and send some,
00:19:37.760 why don't you go to
00:19:38.440 go to blue guy's office
00:19:39.600 and go,
00:19:40.040 why in the hell
00:19:40.780 aren't you doing anything?
00:19:42.940 Why are you not talking
00:19:43.900 about any of the things
00:19:44.960 that are important?
00:19:45.960 Who are you?
00:19:46.580 What is going on here?
00:19:47.840 Because they respond
00:19:49.460 to these things, right?
00:19:50.320 And it clearly,
00:19:51.180 they seem pretty weak
00:19:52.160 and they respond
00:19:52.800 to shaming and guilt.
00:19:54.320 So if you're going to shame
00:19:55.320 and guilt someone
00:19:55.880 into something,
00:19:56.380 I would have no problem
00:19:58.020 whatsoever as,
00:19:59.560 you know,
00:19:59.980 a vicious old stock Canadian
00:20:02.240 that still believes
00:20:02.900 in the values
00:20:03.320 this country was founded on
00:20:04.300 and shaming these people
00:20:05.820 and guilting them
00:20:06.480 on neglecting their duty
00:20:08.520 to speak about issues like that.
00:20:10.540 When the RCMP
00:20:11.360 are trampling citizens
00:20:12.340 in the streets,
00:20:13.380 when the government
00:20:14.000 is seizing bank accounts,
00:20:15.820 when they're very aggressively
00:20:17.620 pursuing censorship legislation,
00:20:19.860 when they're,
00:20:20.380 like them or not,
00:20:20.880 it doesn't matter.
00:20:22.700 Peterson,
00:20:23.280 when they're taking
00:20:23.980 prominent public figures
00:20:25.280 and threatening to,
00:20:26.160 you know,
00:20:26.340 or maybe we're going to have
00:20:27.040 to attack your medical license.
00:20:28.060 He's not the only one, right?
00:20:29.500 And it's not just him
00:20:30.420 just because he's a famous person.
00:20:31.460 This has been happening for years.
00:20:32.840 Welcome to 2019, Jordan.
00:20:34.540 Thanks for joining us.
00:20:36.320 You know,
00:20:36.780 these are things
00:20:37.620 that need to be confronted
00:20:38.600 and you're not.
00:20:40.400 So the guilt
00:20:41.040 and the shame of you
00:20:41.880 to look away
00:20:42.560 and look at your feet
00:20:43.340 and stay quiet
00:20:44.040 as really, really wrong,
00:20:45.940 you know,
00:20:46.520 bad things are happening,
00:20:48.900 unbelievable,
00:20:49.780 unforgivable, you know?
00:20:51.760 When I first joined politics,
00:20:53.660 I ran for the PPC in 2019,
00:20:55.140 I went to this volunteer meetup
00:20:56.880 and this woman volunteer,
00:20:59.200 it's really stuck with me
00:21:00.540 what she said.
00:21:01.240 I didn't understand it
00:21:02.000 at the time,
00:21:02.500 but she said,
00:21:03.400 the problem is,
00:21:04.940 is, you know,
00:21:05.720 in this battle
00:21:06.420 between the left and the right,
00:21:07.560 the left has the right
00:21:08.740 in this chokehold,
00:21:10.620 you know,
00:21:11.020 on the ground chokehold
00:21:12.560 about to be tapped out
00:21:13.860 and the right wing
00:21:14.980 still has this attitude of,
00:21:16.580 oh, we just need
00:21:17.180 to give them a hug.
00:21:18.860 We just,
00:21:19.640 we still need to be
00:21:20.700 sensitive to them
00:21:21.680 and, you know,
00:21:22.200 we need to play fair
00:21:23.700 and we need to just
00:21:25.180 have better ideas.
00:21:26.560 We can't play dirty
00:21:27.500 like they are
00:21:28.140 and it's like,
00:21:28.480 we're about to get tapped out,
00:21:30.340 you know?
00:21:31.220 The whole battle's
00:21:31.860 about to end forever.
00:21:33.800 It's,
00:21:34.420 I've used similar metaphors too.
00:21:36.020 It's like being in a cage,
00:21:37.440 getting punched in the face
00:21:38.540 into a broken
00:21:39.140 and bloody nose
00:21:39.800 while you're holding up
00:21:40.540 a petition that you brought
00:21:41.540 for why you shouldn't
00:21:42.220 be fighting.
00:21:43.440 Yeah.
00:21:43.700 Like that's,
00:21:44.240 we're past that, guys,
00:21:45.480 you know?
00:21:45.740 And, I mean,
00:21:48.060 again,
00:21:48.520 on moral grounds,
00:21:49.780 the things these people
00:21:50.540 have gotten away with,
00:21:51.420 the scandal after scandal
00:21:52.740 after scandal,
00:21:53.620 and you still seem like,
00:21:55.840 like this pisses Canadians,
00:21:57.260 again,
00:21:57.620 it pisses them off.
00:21:58.540 It doesn't matter which,
00:22:00.160 you know,
00:22:00.460 if you're, you know,
00:22:01.220 PPC people
00:22:01.980 or you're really very much
00:22:03.860 in love with PP
00:22:04.600 and all of that stuff,
00:22:06.240 to see them standing
00:22:07.200 shoulder to shoulder
00:22:08.060 and making, you know,
00:22:09.020 collaborative efforts
00:22:09.920 like we're all in this together,
00:22:11.400 you know?
00:22:11.620 You gotta go do the current thing
00:22:13.280 and support them
00:22:13.820 because on all the major
00:22:14.980 important issues,
00:22:15.680 they're all very much aligned
00:22:16.780 and they look across the hall,
00:22:18.840 look across the floor
00:22:19.720 in Parliament
00:22:20.780 and they see their peers.
00:22:21.960 They don't see, you know,
00:22:23.280 enemy agents and,
00:22:24.480 they see,
00:22:25.240 well, they're just like me.
00:22:26.200 They just play for the other team,
00:22:27.620 you know?
00:22:28.700 Yeah, and when it comes to,
00:22:30.500 like, the playing field.
00:22:31.760 I don't see why,
00:22:32.700 I didn't finish this thought.
00:22:33.980 I don't see why they're,
00:22:35.240 why should you respect them
00:22:36.400 and why should you be polite to them?
00:22:38.060 I mean,
00:22:38.360 people's lives are being destroyed.
00:22:40.720 We're not like,
00:22:42.100 this isn't a debate over,
00:22:43.380 you know,
00:22:44.380 should we have an extra holiday in June?
00:22:46.820 Like, should we put an extra day off?
00:22:48.660 Like, this is like,
00:22:49.460 people are dying.
00:22:50.400 How many,
00:22:51.380 you know,
00:22:51.600 the elephant in the room
00:22:52.420 is just getting bigger and bigger.
00:22:54.580 Government policy
00:22:55.440 has been destroying this country
00:22:56.500 for quite a while
00:22:57.200 and, you know,
00:22:58.300 suicides,
00:22:59.000 record high,
00:22:59.600 drug overdose,
00:23:00.240 record high,
00:23:00.820 violent crime,
00:23:01.500 rising and going for gold.
00:23:03.740 But make sure you're polite
00:23:05.440 to the people
00:23:06.720 that are knowingly doing this
00:23:08.400 and getting rich off of it.
00:23:09.800 I question your ability
00:23:12.660 to lead and fight
00:23:14.520 for people in the future
00:23:15.560 if you don't even have the stones
00:23:17.160 to show up to the fight
00:23:19.940 in the first place
00:23:20.640 when you're just going to sit there
00:23:21.680 and hide behind.
00:23:22.460 Like, well,
00:23:22.920 you know,
00:23:23.740 you got to be nice
00:23:25.400 as your nose is being stoved in.
00:23:29.080 Be nice about it.
00:23:30.020 As you're being crushed
00:23:31.140 by a police horse
00:23:32.380 because, as we mentioned,
00:23:33.540 this is a story
00:23:34.520 that hardly even got covered
00:23:36.400 in the legacy news media.
00:23:38.040 We know that the playing field
00:23:39.280 in the media
00:23:39.800 is tilted in their favor.
00:23:41.620 And our strategy...
00:23:42.020 Things they don't talk about.
00:23:43.880 David Zegarac.
00:23:44.820 Did we bring that up last time?
00:23:45.960 We did bring that up last time.
00:23:47.420 So there you go.
00:23:48.140 I mean,
00:23:48.660 that's a politically motivated
00:23:50.840 terrorist attack
00:23:51.580 on Canadian soil
00:23:52.540 by a Canadian
00:23:53.320 against other Canadians
00:23:54.440 in congruence
00:23:55.720 with the things
00:23:56.360 that are coming out of the mouths
00:23:57.740 of the leaders
00:23:58.280 of this country.
00:24:00.020 And you're content
00:24:00.880 to stand there
00:24:01.640 and shake hands and smile
00:24:02.720 like, ah,
00:24:03.140 it's just another day.
00:24:03.980 We'll sort it out
00:24:04.720 over the weekend.
00:24:05.660 You know,
00:24:05.940 we'll come back to it.
00:24:07.380 Well,
00:24:07.600 tell that to the people
00:24:08.400 that just got run over
00:24:09.080 by a Jeep Patriot
00:24:09.960 and see if they feel
00:24:11.080 upset about it.
00:24:11.820 You know,
00:24:12.120 it's a miracle they're alive.
00:24:13.540 Does anyone know their names?
00:24:14.740 Does anyone care?
00:24:16.200 The tables are obviously tilted
00:24:17.900 and the strategy is,
00:24:20.560 well,
00:24:20.720 we just need to wait
00:24:21.900 until we're in power
00:24:22.800 and then we can tilt
00:24:23.660 the tables back
00:24:24.980 or something.
00:24:25.660 And it's like,
00:24:26.060 no,
00:24:26.220 we need to start
00:24:26.980 tilting the tables now
00:24:28.420 and with,
00:24:29.140 once again,
00:24:29.380 with the truck or convoy,
00:24:30.360 we know that that is possible.
00:24:32.040 You know,
00:24:32.240 it's so enraging
00:24:33.720 because this whole strategy
00:24:35.640 from the opposition
00:24:36.540 is we're going to wait
00:24:38.220 to have bravery.
00:24:39.920 We're going to wait
00:24:40.740 to have conviction.
00:24:42.200 We're going to wait
00:24:42.820 till a later time
00:24:44.080 to have that stuff.
00:24:45.820 Then we'll fight for you.
00:24:46.880 We're going to fight for you later
00:24:47.740 when it's like more smart
00:24:49.160 to do so.
00:24:50.280 There's a saying
00:24:51.400 in the military community
00:24:53.140 as well
00:24:53.500 is that you don't rise
00:24:54.600 to the occasion.
00:24:55.420 You sink to the level
00:24:56.320 of your training.
00:24:57.140 So if you're waiting
00:24:57.920 for this moment
00:24:59.200 where you're all of a sudden
00:25:00.280 going to be this person
00:25:01.480 that's going to save the day,
00:25:03.200 you're going to be
00:25:03.720 very disappointed.
00:25:06.060 This only comes from,
00:25:07.520 you know,
00:25:07.760 a lifetime of,
00:25:08.580 or a career of discipline
00:25:09.760 and constantly fighting
00:25:10.740 for the issues
00:25:11.320 and going into the,
00:25:12.440 that's how you do it.
00:25:13.480 You know,
00:25:13.640 all of a sudden,
00:25:14.400 they're not just going to,
00:25:15.200 oh, wow,
00:25:16.160 all of a sudden,
00:25:17.340 wow,
00:25:17.800 they're incredible
00:25:18.640 and they're all,
00:25:19.600 you know,
00:25:19.840 doing all the right things
00:25:20.800 at the last minute.
00:25:21.580 They can't even do this.
00:25:23.080 They can't even do
00:25:23.740 the little things.
00:25:24.720 What makes you think
00:25:25.540 they'll do the big things?
00:25:26.840 There's no reason.
00:25:27.820 There's nothing
00:25:28.460 you suggest they will.
00:25:29.540 Nothing.
00:25:30.340 And to extend
00:25:31.220 the military analogies,
00:25:35.100 I was speaking to Alex Cabana
00:25:36.780 who runs
00:25:37.660 Patriot Propaganda podcast.
00:25:39.460 After the podcast ended,
00:25:40.620 he was talking.
00:25:41.540 Yeah, great guy.
00:25:42.680 He was talking about,
00:25:43.740 I forget the sector of,
00:25:45.240 it might have been,
00:25:46.780 anyway,
00:25:47.160 he said,
00:25:47.620 you need action.
00:25:49.100 You need to take action.
00:25:50.460 That's part of,
00:25:51.720 you know,
00:25:51.940 that's very,
00:25:52.640 very important to,
00:25:53.740 I'm failing to remember
00:25:55.520 what part of the military it was.
00:25:56.660 I don't know if it was like
00:25:57.180 tactics or something,
00:25:58.040 but,
00:25:58.680 you know,
00:25:58.920 you need to make a plan
00:26:00.400 and execute that plan
00:26:01.660 because if you have an action,
00:26:03.740 then that,
00:26:04.180 you know,
00:26:04.420 you are going to let the enemy,
00:26:06.080 you know,
00:26:07.060 further,
00:26:07.760 further impose on you
00:26:09.100 or something.
00:26:09.720 There's a quote.
00:26:10.460 It's,
00:26:10.580 it's rattling around
00:26:11.420 my brain somewhere,
00:26:12.020 but essentially doing nothing
00:26:13.160 is sometimes the worst decision.
00:26:14.420 A poorly,
00:26:15.700 a poorly executed plan
00:26:17.420 can be far superior
00:26:19.700 to nothing at all,
00:26:21.160 just doing nothing.
00:26:22.360 Mm-hmm.
00:26:22.800 Mm-hmm.
00:26:23.180 And we've already made,
00:26:24.160 made the argument here
00:26:25.100 that,
00:26:25.500 you know,
00:26:26.760 we are complicit
00:26:27.960 in this conservative party
00:26:30.140 not standing up
00:26:31.260 for us.
00:26:32.160 because of the,
00:26:33.020 because of apathy,
00:26:33.760 because people don't,
00:26:34.880 you know,
00:26:35.080 they're content,
00:26:35.740 they accept what they see on TV,
00:26:37.580 they accept what these people say
00:26:38.920 and go,
00:26:39.220 well,
00:26:39.300 that's the best,
00:26:39.860 that's as good as we're going to get.
00:26:41.380 And that bothers me
00:26:42.500 because it's,
00:26:43.120 it's like this Canadian identity
00:26:44.600 where it's like,
00:26:45.360 just go along to get along,
00:26:46.660 it is what it is,
00:26:47.400 just roll over
00:26:48.040 and show your belly,
00:26:49.300 what can you do?
00:26:50.460 Rather than,
00:26:51.180 rather than saying,
00:26:51.820 hey,
00:26:52.060 you son of a bitch.
00:26:53.960 You know,
00:26:54.440 what are you saying?
00:26:56.060 You know,
00:26:56.380 like we have the right,
00:26:57.220 like I'm pretty sure
00:26:58.060 as a serious country
00:26:58.960 we have the right
00:26:59.520 to demand high standards.
00:27:00.860 You know,
00:27:01.020 and these people are like,
00:27:01.780 well,
00:27:01.860 I don't want to have the smears
00:27:03.080 and I don't want to get involved.
00:27:04.280 The media will say,
00:27:05.280 then don't be a politician.
00:27:06.740 Then don't be a public figure.
00:27:08.460 Then,
00:27:08.800 you know,
00:27:09.140 it's really,
00:27:09.740 it really is that simple.
00:27:10.720 And it's gotten so bad,
00:27:12.060 I'm sure you have this
00:27:12.920 before we forget about this,
00:27:14.980 that Canadians now feel
00:27:16.580 that they have to outsource leadership
00:27:18.400 from another continent
00:27:19.860 to speak to their values
00:27:21.840 because no one here
00:27:23.140 will do it for them.
00:27:25.280 Shameful.
00:27:26.700 That's absolutely right.
00:27:28.200 Christine Anderson
00:27:29.140 is an MP,
00:27:30.580 sorry,
00:27:31.460 member of European Parliament.
00:27:33.900 And I'll play her viral clip here
00:27:35.340 first and foremost.
00:27:36.140 You guys probably saw this.
00:27:38.080 A prime minister
00:27:39.520 who openly admires
00:27:41.120 the Chinese basic dictatorship
00:27:43.420 who tramples on fundamental rights
00:27:45.500 by persecuting
00:27:46.560 and criminalizing
00:27:47.440 his own citizens
00:27:48.560 as terrorists
00:27:49.680 just because they dared
00:27:51.400 to stand up
00:27:52.160 to his perverted concept
00:27:53.640 of democracy
00:27:54.700 should not be allowed
00:27:56.260 to speak in this house
00:27:57.540 at all.
00:27:58.620 Mr. Trudeau,
00:27:59.660 you are a disgrace
00:28:00.900 for any democracy.
00:28:03.180 Please spare us
00:28:04.780 your presence.
00:28:05.780 Thank you.
00:28:07.780 And not to be,
00:28:09.360 you know,
00:28:09.820 that guy,
00:28:11.080 but,
00:28:11.660 you know,
00:28:11.900 and good for her.
00:28:12.700 A great,
00:28:13.120 amazing,
00:28:13.440 like saying what everybody knows
00:28:14.840 is true,
00:28:15.220 saying what,
00:28:15.840 you know,
00:28:16.020 we're all thinking.
00:28:16.980 Why does,
00:28:17.880 first of all,
00:28:18.500 a woman from Germany
00:28:19.860 have to come here
00:28:22.020 and do the men's job?
00:28:23.740 That's not a dig at her.
00:28:25.060 That is a slight
00:28:25.720 against the men
00:28:26.320 of this country
00:28:26.940 because,
00:28:28.160 you know,
00:28:28.780 you're not even wearing
00:28:29.480 pants anymore,
00:28:30.040 are you boys?
00:28:30.760 You know,
00:28:30.980 you've got,
00:28:31.520 we've got German women
00:28:33.440 coming over here
00:28:34.060 to say what none of you guys
00:28:35.440 have the guts
00:28:35.880 to say anymore.
00:28:36.940 Pathetic.
00:28:37.980 What's going on?
00:28:39.340 You know,
00:28:39.580 calling Trudeau
00:28:40.460 a disgrace
00:28:41.140 to a democracy.
00:28:43.100 Why is that so hard
00:28:44.480 for Pierre Polyev
00:28:46.440 to say?
00:28:46.920 Why is that so hard
00:28:47.620 for any conservative MP
00:28:48.780 to say?
00:28:49.400 And we know why
00:28:50.400 because you've got,
00:28:51.240 you know,
00:28:52.320 special,
00:28:53.020 you know,
00:28:53.320 turban guy will say,
00:28:54.300 this is so divisive.
00:28:55.960 This language has no place
00:28:57.740 in Canadian.
00:28:58.420 But shut up.
00:28:59.300 You're just as bad.
00:29:00.740 You know,
00:29:01.060 the only reason you're there
00:29:02.240 is because this guy's
00:29:03.020 still in the way.
00:29:03.800 Otherwise,
00:29:04.260 they'd all be pointing at you.
00:29:05.520 They might as well
00:29:05.880 just be the same party
00:29:06.740 for God's sakes.
00:29:07.420 I don't know why
00:29:07.820 there even is too.
00:29:09.980 You know,
00:29:10.540 it's,
00:29:10.900 there's nothing wrong
00:29:13.160 with what she said.
00:29:14.060 Everything she said
00:29:14.700 is true.
00:29:15.240 And the fact that
00:29:15.880 it had to come out
00:29:16.260 of a member
00:29:17.020 of European Parliament
00:29:17.820 from Germany
00:29:18.520 to say,
00:29:20.680 you know,
00:29:21.000 what should have come
00:29:21.700 out of the mouth
00:29:22.140 of the opposition leader
00:29:22.940 of Canada
00:29:23.420 is shameful.
00:29:25.780 Yeah,
00:29:26.180 and she's coming here
00:29:27.020 to Canada
00:29:27.940 for her Canadian tour
00:29:29.160 18th to 24th of February.
00:29:32.900 Gallagher,
00:29:33.440 Toronto,
00:29:33.880 Whippy,
00:29:34.180 Montreal.
00:29:35.140 Yeah,
00:29:35.420 I think she's given
00:29:35.900 a seminar at the end.
00:29:36.820 You can sign up
00:29:37.280 and get a copy
00:29:38.000 of her book.
00:29:38.440 She'll sign
00:29:38.800 Teaching Men
00:29:39.420 How to Grow a Pair,
00:29:40.500 I think.
00:29:41.020 Yeah,
00:29:41.440 so Pierre Polyev,
00:29:42.760 any other members
00:29:43.380 of the Conservative Party,
00:29:44.260 you might want to check
00:29:45.000 this tour out.
00:29:46.620 You know,
00:29:47.320 might be able to help
00:29:48.200 you stand up
00:29:48.920 for your country.
00:29:51.060 Really would have hoped
00:29:52.760 that you already knew
00:29:53.500 how to do that
00:29:54.100 considering you're
00:29:54.700 a sitting member
00:29:55.620 of Parliament
00:29:56.080 as the official opposition.
00:29:57.720 But hey,
00:29:58.400 it's never too late
00:29:59.080 to learn, right?
00:29:59.760 It's never too late
00:30:00.520 to try and do
00:30:01.100 the right thing.
00:30:02.120 It's never too late
00:30:03.040 to make a public service
00:30:04.040 announcement
00:30:04.420 with all of them
00:30:05.340 shaking hands
00:30:06.040 and standing together
00:30:06.660 smiling saying
00:30:07.360 we're all in this together.
00:30:08.720 As you lose your job,
00:30:09.840 your bank accounts
00:30:10.360 are frozen,
00:30:10.740 your kids are kicked
00:30:11.300 out of school
00:30:11.800 and your elderly parents
00:30:13.020 die behind a sheet
00:30:14.020 of plastic in a building
00:30:14.940 you can't go into
00:30:15.860 because of your
00:30:16.760 medical decisions.
00:30:18.000 Congratulations, Canada.
00:30:19.440 Yeah,
00:30:19.680 make sure we're all
00:30:20.340 socially distanced,
00:30:21.460 okay?
00:30:23.320 But I do want to go
00:30:24.800 into this,
00:30:26.420 a comparison,
00:30:28.400 if you will.
00:30:29.200 This is from
00:30:29.760 the Toronto Star.
00:30:30.700 Don't comment
00:30:31.920 on frozen bank
00:30:33.060 account claims
00:30:33.780 until they are verified
00:30:34.900 conservative MPs advised.
00:30:37.020 This article
00:30:37.520 essentially talks about
00:30:38.560 hey,
00:30:38.820 we can't be spreading
00:30:39.640 misinformation.
00:30:41.120 We can't be saying
00:30:41.860 things that aren't
00:30:42.740 verified as fact.
00:30:45.020 And let's compare
00:30:45.700 that to,
00:30:46.360 and this is just
00:30:46.900 one example
00:30:47.480 as we all know,
00:30:48.640 this is one
00:30:49.420 for Rex Murphy.
00:30:50.540 Will anyone
00:30:51.020 apologize
00:30:51.640 for falsely
00:30:52.780 accusing truckers
00:30:53.820 of attempted
00:30:54.480 arson in Ottawa?
00:30:55.760 So essentially
00:30:56.400 we have
00:30:57.240 an establishment
00:30:58.640 party,
00:30:59.500 the Liberal
00:30:59.880 Party,
00:31:00.700 NDP was
00:31:01.860 jumping in
00:31:02.340 on this too,
00:31:03.380 slandering,
00:31:04.220 slamming the
00:31:04.840 trucker convoy,
00:31:05.780 all the flags,
00:31:06.660 all of this,
00:31:07.660 no fact-checking
00:31:08.640 by the way,
00:31:09.500 no sort of
00:31:09.980 follow-up
00:31:10.420 with any of
00:31:10.760 these accusations.
00:31:12.160 So, I mean,
00:31:13.020 again,
00:31:13.760 the point earlier
00:31:14.700 where it's like
00:31:15.040 you've got to be
00:31:15.420 polite and respectful,
00:31:16.340 and it's supposed
00:31:16.960 to be showing
00:31:17.540 respect to the
00:31:18.440 gravity of where
00:31:19.720 you're,
00:31:19.880 I mean,
00:31:20.100 you're in the
00:31:20.420 House of Commons,
00:31:21.120 this is a
00:31:21.440 Parliament building,
00:31:22.120 this is where
00:31:22.500 you're supposed
00:31:22.780 to act like a
00:31:23.420 grown-up
00:31:23.760 and this kind
00:31:24.100 of stuff,
00:31:24.340 so you don't,
00:31:24.860 you know,
00:31:25.040 try not to engage.
00:31:25.980 Are they showing
00:31:26.840 it the respect
00:31:27.360 that it deserves
00:31:27.940 when they
00:31:28.360 gaslight Canadian
00:31:29.340 citizens on this
00:31:30.960 level?
00:31:31.480 The government
00:31:31.960 itself came out
00:31:32.840 and said,
00:31:33.180 we're freezing
00:31:33.580 bank accounts,
00:31:34.660 and they did,
00:31:35.540 and now they're
00:31:36.100 saying,
00:31:36.320 well,
00:31:36.460 we don't know
00:31:36.840 if it's true,
00:31:37.600 I think you
00:31:38.140 could take them
00:31:38.600 into word that
00:31:39.220 it happened,
00:31:40.020 I mean,
00:31:40.260 they're the ones
00:31:40.700 saying,
00:31:41.000 if a single
00:31:41.740 person's account
00:31:42.560 was frozen
00:31:43.500 and seized,
00:31:44.260 that is insane,
00:31:45.380 that is Soviet-like
00:31:46.520 level,
00:31:47.240 oh,
00:31:47.500 are these people,
00:31:48.580 you know,
00:31:49.360 disagreeing with us?
00:31:50.380 Seize their bank
00:31:50.960 accounts.
00:31:51.900 If even,
00:31:52.280 if it happened
00:31:52.780 to one person,
00:31:53.960 that is crazy,
00:31:55.620 and it,
00:31:56.000 of course,
00:31:56.900 was a lot more
00:31:57.600 than one,
00:31:58.120 and,
00:31:58.460 you know,
00:31:58.640 like you just
00:31:59.020 pointed out,
00:31:59.500 they have no
00:31:59.960 problem lying,
00:32:01.620 oh,
00:32:01.840 there's rapists
00:32:02.540 all over the
00:32:03.080 place,
00:32:03.380 and there are
00:32:03.700 arsonists,
00:32:04.440 and all these
00:32:05.180 truckers probably
00:32:05.700 have guns,
00:32:06.580 none of that
00:32:07.080 was true.
00:32:07.760 Did anybody
00:32:08.120 apologize?
00:32:09.060 No.
00:32:09.780 Did anybody
00:32:10.240 in the
00:32:10.480 Conservative
00:32:10.780 Caucus
00:32:11.180 raise the
00:32:11.580 alarm about
00:32:12.000 that?
00:32:12.480 Nah,
00:32:13.000 we're going
00:32:13.340 to wait and
00:32:13.860 see,
00:32:14.420 because it's
00:32:14.880 strategy.
00:32:16.280 Strategy,
00:32:16.940 yes,
00:32:17.200 that's the
00:32:17.540 strategy,
00:32:18.100 always.
00:32:18.940 Guys,
00:32:19.380 this might be
00:32:20.260 a slam dunk,
00:32:21.280 we might be able
00:32:22.000 to call them
00:32:22.480 out for being
00:32:22.980 authoritarian and
00:32:26.000 the media
00:32:28.300 might attack
00:32:28.980 me and
00:32:29.580 stuff.
00:32:31.820 Yeah,
00:32:32.540 and back to
00:32:33.480 the solution
00:32:34.000 that we're
00:32:34.320 presenting to
00:32:35.140 our viewers,
00:32:35.880 you know,
00:32:36.140 we have this
00:32:36.940 Conservative Party
00:32:37.680 who is beholden
00:32:38.540 to this corrupt
00:32:39.700 establishment,
00:32:40.860 to these people
00:32:41.700 who are comfortable
00:32:42.440 spreading the
00:32:42.960 misinformation,
00:32:44.000 comfortable accusing
00:32:44.840 us of terrorism
00:32:45.920 while ignoring
00:32:46.780 terrorism against
00:32:48.360 people like,
00:32:49.280 you know,
00:32:49.520 like Freedom Fighter
00:32:50.540 protesters,
00:32:51.280 convoy protesters.
00:32:52.860 It's,
00:32:53.160 the more and more
00:32:54.060 we talk about this,
00:32:54.940 it's,
00:32:55.220 the Conservative
00:32:56.580 Party,
00:32:57.040 this opposition,
00:32:57.860 opposition just
00:32:59.080 simply seems
00:32:59.740 complicit in
00:33:00.480 what's happening
00:33:01.280 in this country.
00:33:02.760 Well,
00:33:03.280 you know,
00:33:03.620 and it reminds
00:33:04.780 me of,
00:33:05.280 you know,
00:33:05.860 a clip I
00:33:06.240 just thought
00:33:07.300 recently,
00:33:08.000 and her name
00:33:08.400 is Ava
00:33:08.960 something,
00:33:10.060 very long
00:33:10.660 Dutch name,
00:33:11.580 cannot say it,
00:33:12.620 I'm not even
00:33:13.120 going to try.
00:33:14.000 Another,
00:33:14.540 you know,
00:33:15.160 leadership figure,
00:33:16.120 blonde woman
00:33:16.960 from Europe
00:33:17.900 has to,
00:33:19.180 has to stand up
00:33:20.300 here and go,
00:33:20.820 listen guys,
00:33:21.660 you know,
00:33:22.020 all they have
00:33:22.920 really is their
00:33:23.500 shaming and their
00:33:24.140 guilting,
00:33:24.440 their name calling
00:33:25.100 and this kind
00:33:26.140 of thing.
00:33:26.540 When that doesn't
00:33:27.280 bother you anymore,
00:33:28.140 when you decide,
00:33:29.160 like,
00:33:29.560 what do you got?
00:33:30.580 You're going to
00:33:30.820 call me names?
00:33:31.500 I don't care.
00:33:32.860 I don't care.
00:33:33.940 That means we're
00:33:34.660 not children.
00:33:35.340 This has no effect
00:33:36.140 on me.
00:33:36.760 Then you're free
00:33:37.840 to, you know,
00:33:38.580 speak your mind
00:33:39.360 and live your life.
00:33:40.140 But we still
00:33:40.780 have a opposition
00:33:43.000 in this country
00:33:43.920 that is really,
00:33:45.040 we don't want to,
00:33:45.820 please don't call us
00:33:46.560 names.
00:33:47.340 Please don't say
00:33:47.940 that we're racist.
00:33:48.740 Please,
00:33:48.880 no,
00:33:49.660 we're very sorry.
00:33:51.320 You know,
00:33:51.520 we're sorry we ever,
00:33:52.920 you know,
00:33:53.320 I'm so sorry I ever
00:33:54.520 shook hands with so
00:33:55.560 and so,
00:33:55.780 you know what I mean?
00:33:56.460 It's just weak
00:33:58.080 and it's written
00:33:59.640 all over.
00:34:00.060 You can smell it
00:34:00.680 on them.
00:34:01.000 You can sell it
00:34:01.540 by looking at them.
00:34:02.700 They'll fold like
00:34:03.740 a wet paper bag
00:34:05.060 when it gets hard.
00:34:07.540 They can't even
00:34:08.260 endure to have
00:34:09.180 their called names.
00:34:10.180 I mean,
00:34:10.380 who cares what
00:34:10.820 the media thinks?
00:34:11.380 Your job is to,
00:34:12.320 you know,
00:34:13.440 speak directly to
00:34:14.200 the people.
00:34:14.920 That's who you're
00:34:15.500 supposed to be
00:34:16.060 speaking,
00:34:16.480 you know,
00:34:16.760 for.
00:34:17.320 That's who you're
00:34:17.840 supposed to be
00:34:18.220 leading.
00:34:18.980 Just why,
00:34:19.620 why is the media
00:34:20.380 like get out of
00:34:21.720 the,
00:34:22.000 no,
00:34:22.300 no,
00:34:22.360 no,
00:34:22.440 we don't care.
00:34:23.220 I don't care what
00:34:23.980 you print.
00:34:24.320 I don't care if you
00:34:24.720 draw cartoons with me
00:34:25.520 with horns in my head
00:34:26.220 eating babies.
00:34:27.100 It doesn't make any,
00:34:28.460 it's not going to
00:34:28.960 change a single word
00:34:29.940 that's going to come
00:34:30.400 out of my mouth
00:34:30.800 because I'm here
00:34:31.380 for the people
00:34:32.180 of this country.
00:34:32.800 I'm not here to
00:34:33.400 please you who lie
00:34:34.900 constantly about me
00:34:36.860 and try to destroy me.
00:34:37.960 Why in hell's name
00:34:39.220 would I ever care at
00:34:41.200 all what you think
00:34:42.380 about me?
00:34:42.960 It's just weak.
00:34:44.100 It's just weakness.
00:34:45.120 And that goes to what
00:34:46.080 we said last
00:34:47.080 episode talking about
00:34:48.680 how it seems so much
00:34:49.900 of the conversation
00:34:51.260 when it comes to
00:34:52.160 politics and the
00:34:52.940 opposition versus the
00:34:53.940 liberals and everyone
00:34:54.580 involved in the world
00:34:55.300 of politics.
00:34:55.760 It all exists in this
00:34:56.540 weird Ottawa bubble
00:34:57.680 that is beholden to
00:34:59.380 the news media.
00:35:00.240 And it is completely
00:35:01.500 separate from the
00:35:03.740 people of this
00:35:04.280 country.
00:35:05.000 You know,
00:35:05.320 as you said last,
00:35:06.400 last week,
00:35:07.020 we need to be more
00:35:07.740 like the left to win.
00:35:09.040 It's not just being
00:35:09.860 more like the left.
00:35:10.800 It's not just that it's
00:35:11.780 we need to not stand
00:35:12.840 up for Canadians.
00:35:13.460 We need to,
00:35:14.280 you know,
00:35:14.960 not stand up for
00:35:15.840 freedom fighters who
00:35:16.460 are being prosecuted
00:35:17.380 in order to win.
00:35:18.140 We need to not stand
00:35:19.120 up for the vaccine
00:35:19.760 injured.
00:35:20.140 We need to not stand
00:35:20.980 up for the
00:35:21.640 unvaccinated being
00:35:22.420 treated like second
00:35:23.400 class citizens.
00:35:24.800 You know,
00:35:25.060 what else do we need
00:35:26.200 to not stand up for
00:35:27.520 in order to win?
00:35:28.880 It's a cope and it's
00:35:30.080 something weak people
00:35:30.980 do.
00:35:31.440 It's compromising.
00:35:32.380 It's like,
00:35:33.120 you know,
00:35:33.680 well,
00:35:33.800 we'll just be more
00:35:34.500 like them so we can
00:35:35.540 win.
00:35:36.100 It's like,
00:35:36.460 well,
00:35:36.560 why don't you just
00:35:37.260 join the party?
00:35:38.500 If you're going to
00:35:39.220 have a platform,
00:35:40.020 if you're going to
00:35:40.440 agree on so many
00:35:41.360 things,
00:35:41.860 if you're going to
00:35:42.480 on really important
00:35:43.600 things,
00:35:44.120 why don't,
00:35:44.640 basically,
00:35:45.280 and I like how,
00:35:45.980 you know,
00:35:46.140 my friend Ferry
00:35:46.960 says this,
00:35:47.460 it's like,
00:35:47.900 well,
00:35:48.560 the liberals are
00:35:49.140 selling this,
00:35:50.180 you know,
00:35:50.380 we'll say communism
00:35:51.280 or something.
00:35:52.320 The conservatives
00:35:52.960 are like,
00:35:53.260 well,
00:35:53.980 we're going to do
00:35:54.460 that too,
00:35:54.920 but slower.
00:35:55.920 You know?
00:35:56.440 Right.
00:35:56.780 Why waste time?
00:35:58.180 Why don't you just
00:35:58.740 go over there
00:35:59.300 and join them
00:35:59.960 since you seem
00:36:00.800 to have very little
00:36:01.480 problem with a lot
00:36:02.200 of what they're doing
00:36:02.740 and you really want
00:36:03.180 to just talk about
00:36:03.680 cosmetic issues
00:36:04.520 and not really get
00:36:05.520 into the nitty gritty.
00:36:06.620 Why are you,
00:36:07.360 what is the point
00:36:08.520 in your existence
00:36:09.360 if the values
00:36:11.160 that are supposed
00:36:11.720 to separate you
00:36:12.620 from them
00:36:13.100 are so easily
00:36:14.300 sacrificed
00:36:15.140 for media play?
00:36:17.720 I mean,
00:36:18.100 what does that say
00:36:18.820 about the things
00:36:19.320 you believe in?
00:36:19.880 That they're that,
00:36:20.440 you're willing to,
00:36:21.240 you're willing to
00:36:22.060 throw that away
00:36:22.560 that easily?
00:36:24.440 That's not a good
00:36:25.540 sign,
00:36:25.860 guys.
00:36:26.580 I think we've
00:36:27.720 really laid it
00:36:28.280 all out here,
00:36:28.800 but let's bring it
00:36:29.360 back to the whole
00:36:30.020 Jordan Peterson issue
00:36:31.040 because Jordan Peterson
00:36:32.180 gave Pierre Paliyev
00:36:33.320 and the Conservative Party
00:36:34.280 this opportunity
00:36:35.080 to say,
00:36:35.760 you know what?
00:36:36.120 We're going to look
00:36:36.720 like these freedom fighters.
00:36:38.020 We're going to look
00:36:38.640 like the people
00:36:39.200 standing up
00:36:40.180 for all the things
00:36:41.840 that make this country
00:36:42.660 great when in reality
00:36:43.900 they're standing up
00:36:45.060 for one super famous
00:36:46.720 clinical psychologist
00:36:47.680 millionaire
00:36:48.100 while all of the other
00:36:50.160 lesser known
00:36:50.860 or unknown
00:36:51.560 hardworking Canadians
00:36:52.700 who are doctors
00:36:53.620 who probably some of them
00:36:54.640 are psychologists as well
00:36:55.780 no name mentioned
00:36:57.220 and just think about
00:36:59.240 how much harder
00:37:00.300 the struggle is
00:37:01.220 for these people.
00:37:02.700 You know,
00:37:02.920 I met someone yesterday
00:37:03.800 a doctor who can't
00:37:05.280 disclose who he is publicly
00:37:06.500 who hasn't been to work
00:37:07.980 for a year and a half
00:37:08.840 and he's waiting
00:37:09.660 on all these weird
00:37:10.480 litigation things to happen
00:37:11.720 because he's a physician
00:37:12.820 and there's a story there.
00:37:15.260 There's a story there.
00:37:15.940 There's a lot to get upset
00:37:16.960 about there
00:37:17.600 and to potentially,
00:37:18.960 you know,
00:37:19.780 try to bring to the forefront
00:37:21.060 as part of the opposition.
00:37:23.260 And what if,
00:37:25.140 again,
00:37:26.060 if Peterson,
00:37:26.940 what if,
00:37:27.280 what if,
00:37:27.740 say,
00:37:28.020 let's pretend
00:37:28.500 in an alternate universe,
00:37:29.460 let's not Peterson,
00:37:30.200 it's someone that's,
00:37:31.020 you know,
00:37:31.220 not famous.
00:37:31.640 And by the way,
00:37:32.140 a lot of this reminds me,
00:37:33.380 this is a pattern
00:37:34.260 that I don't like,
00:37:35.460 you know,
00:37:36.360 peeps likes to show up
00:37:37.600 like,
00:37:37.840 oh,
00:37:38.000 there's a hot button topic.
00:37:39.260 Let me pop in here
00:37:40.000 for quick selfie.
00:37:40.760 All right,
00:37:40.960 I'm out.
00:37:42.360 James Top,
00:37:43.220 you know,
00:37:43.580 comes to mind,
00:37:44.260 for example,
00:37:45.340 the Freedom Convoy
00:37:46.260 comes to mind.
00:37:47.060 Oh,
00:37:47.220 okay,
00:37:47.500 got the picture.
00:37:48.180 All right,
00:37:48.460 see you later,
00:37:48.960 bud.
00:37:49.600 And it's gone.
00:37:50.840 If Peterson was someone
00:37:51.700 that was less famous
00:37:52.600 or something,
00:37:53.740 has anyone mentioned
00:37:55.980 anything about
00:37:56.460 Pastor Pulaski,
00:37:58.580 for example?
00:37:59.620 What if he was a very
00:38:00.320 highly outspoken
00:38:01.320 Christian theology professor?
00:38:03.960 I mean,
00:38:04.180 this country was founded
00:38:05.120 on Christian values
00:38:06.260 by,
00:38:06.540 you know,
00:38:06.900 by Christian nations.
00:38:07.680 It does say,
00:38:08.600 God keep our land
00:38:09.620 in the national anthem.
00:38:11.620 What if his position was,
00:38:13.120 I'm really against
00:38:14.160 all of this trans stuff
00:38:15.460 and I really don't like
00:38:16.660 the pride flags
00:38:17.600 because it's very offensive
00:38:18.760 to my religion.
00:38:20.160 I mean,
00:38:20.680 I'm an orthodox.
00:38:21.620 I'm a,
00:38:21.920 you know,
00:38:22.240 book following a Christian,
00:38:24.320 you know,
00:38:25.420 do you think he would
00:38:26.100 show up then
00:38:26.640 for free speech
00:38:27.280 or what do you think?
00:38:27.780 I don't know if this is
00:38:28.560 going to be good
00:38:29.120 politically for me.
00:38:30.360 So I'm going to,
00:38:31.040 I'm going to ignore
00:38:31.660 that one.
00:38:32.440 Like,
00:38:32.880 they curate these causes
00:38:34.520 and put them through
00:38:35.580 some kind of
00:38:36.280 political electability filter
00:38:38.400 and then decide
00:38:39.440 if they're going to show up
00:38:40.640 and pretend to care
00:38:41.760 about the things
00:38:42.280 you actually do care about.
00:38:43.980 It's gross.
00:38:44.660 It's so transparent
00:38:45.500 and it's,
00:38:46.420 again,
00:38:47.200 I want leaders.
00:38:48.860 I want men
00:38:49.640 of character
00:38:51.120 and,
00:38:52.020 you know,
00:38:52.440 backbone
00:38:52.920 and principles
00:38:54.040 to run this country
00:38:54.960 because that's the only way
00:38:56.260 anyone runs anything successfully.
00:38:58.100 When you're willing
00:38:58.780 to sacrifice
00:38:59.380 and,
00:39:00.240 you know,
00:39:00.540 compromise your beliefs
00:39:01.620 to just,
00:39:02.200 you know,
00:39:02.940 please people
00:39:03.460 for the sake of pleasing them
00:39:04.400 because,
00:39:04.820 you know,
00:39:04.980 means to an end
00:39:05.600 and so on,
00:39:06.260 little by little,
00:39:07.000 eventually you run out
00:39:07.740 of things to sell
00:39:08.520 and,
00:39:09.340 you know,
00:39:09.800 you wake up
00:39:10.260 and look in the mirror
00:39:10.820 and you're just like
00:39:11.420 the guy you went to replace.
00:39:12.880 You know,
00:39:13.100 there's going to be
00:39:13.780 no difference
00:39:14.280 between them
00:39:14.720 and the liberal.
00:39:15.180 And when the liberals
00:39:15.820 ran their campaign
00:39:16.740 to get elected,
00:39:17.620 you know,
00:39:17.780 to replace the Harper conservatives,
00:39:19.760 a lot of people wanted to,
00:39:20.920 they just had to get Harper out,
00:39:22.360 remember?
00:39:22.940 And they said all the right things
00:39:24.760 and all these wonderful,
00:39:25.700 they were going to eliminate the,
00:39:27.180 we're going to change
00:39:28.220 the first pass of post system.
00:39:29.440 We're going to have
00:39:29.660 proportional representation.
00:39:30.780 We're going to do this.
00:39:31.320 We're going to,
00:39:31.780 oh,
00:39:32.120 and the people,
00:39:32.700 did they clap?
00:39:33.480 How much of that happened?
00:39:35.120 That much,
00:39:36.160 you know?
00:39:36.680 So,
00:39:37.500 that's what you get.
00:39:38.280 And you get that
00:39:39.560 because you have people
00:39:40.580 that are willing to lie
00:39:41.640 about principled things.
00:39:42.620 If you have people
00:39:43.100 that can play fast and loose
00:39:44.200 with really important issues
00:39:46.280 and principles like that
00:39:47.740 that matter,
00:39:48.500 morality itself,
00:39:50.060 if your morality will change
00:39:51.980 depending on whichever way
00:39:53.060 the CBC Twitter trends are going,
00:39:55.660 no thanks.
00:39:56.420 I'm out.
00:39:57.340 You just made the motion
00:39:58.680 of a snake there,
00:40:00.120 actually,
00:40:00.620 if you didn't notice.
00:40:01.700 Slithering around,
00:40:03.060 slithering around
00:40:03.880 the moral issues
00:40:05.460 to what's convenient.
00:40:06.400 Oh,
00:40:06.820 here's a James Topp thing
00:40:08.600 over here.
00:40:09.140 Oh,
00:40:09.360 here's a convoy over here.
00:40:12.240 Here's Jordan Peterson
00:40:13.360 over there.
00:40:14.200 Yeah,
00:40:14.460 very slippery,
00:40:15.420 very snaky.
00:40:16.200 And I've said this
00:40:16.840 in the past before.
00:40:18.220 It's very true.
00:40:19.200 The trajectory of Trudeau
00:40:21.200 and his rise
00:40:22.020 to getting elected
00:40:22.660 kind of feels similar
00:40:23.760 to Pierre's
00:40:25.200 sort of popularity right now.
00:40:26.780 He's saying all the right things.
00:40:28.240 He's going to save the country
00:40:29.640 from this horrible
00:40:30.960 totalitarian situation
00:40:32.760 that we're in.
00:40:33.420 And that was the same language
00:40:34.460 they were using back then,
00:40:35.680 by the way,
00:40:36.100 with Harper.
00:40:37.360 Exactly.
00:40:37.940 And I'd also,
00:40:38.460 yeah,
00:40:38.660 right,
00:40:38.900 they were the freedom party
00:40:39.800 then and look at how that worked.
00:40:40.960 Because I was no fan of,
00:40:42.260 I did not like a lot of the things
00:40:43.600 Harper was doing either
00:40:44.320 and I wanted him gone as well.
00:40:45.800 So,
00:40:46.220 you know,
00:40:46.660 I was younger and dumber,
00:40:48.160 but,
00:40:48.360 you know,
00:40:48.900 that is how it goes.
00:40:51.080 But when they,
00:40:52.660 so again,
00:40:53.360 these are,
00:40:53.640 a lot of these big issues,
00:40:54.980 you know,
00:40:55.160 you've got like the World Economic Forum
00:40:56.340 to contend with,
00:40:56.860 the United Nations,
00:40:57.640 and you know,
00:40:58.000 you've got these foreign,
00:40:58.800 you know,
00:40:59.000 unelected billionaire plutocrats
00:41:00.460 and oligarchs everywhere
00:41:01.260 making sure,
00:41:01.940 you know,
00:41:02.100 they're setting our national,
00:41:02.760 like these are big enemies to make,
00:41:04.380 right?
00:41:04.800 So if the prime minister is going to come in
00:41:06.400 and I'm going to go to war with these people,
00:41:08.060 you know,
00:41:08.260 figurative,
00:41:08.660 in a figurative sense,
00:41:09.920 you know,
00:41:10.100 with your think tanks
00:41:10.960 and your hedge funds
00:41:12.300 and your advisors
00:41:13.240 and all,
00:41:13.660 I'm going to just,
00:41:14.320 we're going to throw these guys out,
00:41:15.440 we're going to do all that.
00:41:15.900 These are big enemies to make.
00:41:18.000 But you won't fight CBC.
00:41:20.060 You won't fight the liberal establishment.
00:41:22.120 You won't fight newspapers.
00:41:23.500 You won't,
00:41:24.040 you can't handle that,
00:41:25.360 but you're going to take on,
00:41:26.840 you know,
00:41:27.160 the power players of the world
00:41:28.500 that are carving this country up
00:41:29.740 like a turkey.
00:41:30.820 You just got to wait
00:41:31.520 until you're in there
00:41:32.060 and then trust me,
00:41:33.140 you promise you're going to deal with it.
00:41:34.520 Then you can't,
00:41:35.320 you can't stand up for mom and pops,
00:41:37.200 you know,
00:41:37.620 losing their stores
00:41:38.380 and,
00:41:38.720 you know,
00:41:39.460 all of the people
00:41:40.500 just suddenly having problems.
00:41:42.020 All of the,
00:41:42.640 all of these kids,
00:41:43.380 people getting thrown out of school,
00:41:44.960 all,
00:41:45.200 all,
00:41:45.520 everything that's happened
00:41:46.260 the last few years.
00:41:47.640 Nah,
00:41:48.720 but,
00:41:49.020 but I will,
00:41:49.660 I will fight the empire though.
00:41:50.860 Trust me when the time is right.
00:41:51.980 I promise I will.
00:41:53.420 I don't buy it.
00:41:54.900 Absolutely.
00:41:55.440 And I want to leave people
00:41:56.580 with the image.
00:41:57.460 We're going to wrap it up here soon,
00:41:58.500 but I want to leave people
00:41:59.340 with the image.
00:41:59.920 Like folks,
00:42:00.320 we're getting creamed out there
00:42:01.580 and the,
00:42:01.920 in the whole culture war conversation,
00:42:03.560 we are in the corner
00:42:05.160 getting pummeled.
00:42:06.220 We are on the floor
00:42:07.020 getting pinned.
00:42:07.840 We are,
00:42:08.440 you know,
00:42:08.840 teeth are getting knocked out
00:42:10.660 to the,
00:42:11.920 to the point
00:42:12.660 where we're coping with wealth.
00:42:14.040 Joe Rogan,
00:42:14.700 Joe Rogan's making reaction videos
00:42:16.400 to what's happening in Canada.
00:42:17.380 He's just,
00:42:17.800 you know,
00:42:18.180 yeah.
00:42:19.580 That's how badly
00:42:19.800 we're getting beat up right now.
00:42:21.200 Oh my God.
00:42:21.900 Did you see that Jamie?
00:42:23.260 Yeah.
00:42:24.420 Oh man.
00:42:25.220 But play that,
00:42:26.360 play that back.
00:42:26.920 His teeth flew right at his head.
00:42:28.040 Rewind that.
00:42:28.620 I want to see that again.
00:42:29.140 Amazing.
00:42:29.740 Oh,
00:42:30.140 and if you,
00:42:30.420 if you look at this,
00:42:31.160 Jamie,
00:42:31.540 he's,
00:42:31.860 he's,
00:42:32.260 he's coping right now.
00:42:33.460 He's,
00:42:33.720 he's hoping he can just make it
00:42:35.040 another round without being
00:42:36.280 completely obliterated.
00:42:37.660 It's like,
00:42:38.180 no,
00:42:38.340 it's time to fight back.
00:42:39.840 Yeah.
00:42:40.440 Well,
00:42:40.680 I mean,
00:42:40.860 like you said,
00:42:41.500 like we're getting beat up,
00:42:42.640 we're,
00:42:43.060 you know,
00:42:43.360 and we are,
00:42:44.140 and this is the time to have these conversations
00:42:46.540 and to hold their,
00:42:47.700 again,
00:42:48.040 hold them accountable,
00:42:48.780 hold their feet to the fire.
00:42:49.620 Stop accepting the bare minimum as like,
00:42:52.400 you know,
00:42:52.740 I saw earlier,
00:42:53.600 oh,
00:42:53.900 none of the conservative MPs are going to be attending,
00:42:56.180 you know,
00:42:56.780 Davos this week.
00:42:58.060 Whooped.
00:42:58.480 Oh,
00:42:58.800 wow.
00:42:59.280 Wow.
00:42:59.560 You did the bare minimum.
00:43:01.420 Good for you.
00:43:02.340 We've got substantially further to go than that.
00:43:04.860 And there's,
00:43:05.160 there's not going to be an election soon.
00:43:06.820 It may not be this year.
00:43:08.120 Maybe not even next.
00:43:08.780 We've got time.
00:43:09.740 And now is the time to,
00:43:11.280 you know,
00:43:11.620 separate the wheat from the chaff and,
00:43:13.160 and make sure if you have a,
00:43:15.100 someone like this in your area,
00:43:15.960 that whoever it is that represents you,
00:43:17.200 whoever it is,
00:43:17.580 you're supposed to be supporting in your,
00:43:18.740 you know,
00:43:19.040 local provincial parliament,
00:43:20.680 federal,
00:43:21.240 whatever it is to hold them accountable.
00:43:23.860 Listen,
00:43:24.300 like this is a,
00:43:25.120 these are not good times we're entering.
00:43:26.760 We're looking at potentially a war with the Russian Federation.
00:43:29.140 Maybe the,
00:43:29.680 that's on the table.
00:43:30.780 We've got tremendous economic pain that's incoming.
00:43:34.560 Nevermind that the,
00:43:35.520 the implosion of the healthcare system that we're dealing with.
00:43:38.400 Uh,
00:43:38.760 this isn't the time to be wishy-washy.
00:43:41.180 I'm just going to mail it in.
00:43:42.660 We need strong,
00:43:44.340 capable leaders that are,
00:43:46.760 that have your back and are willing to go down fighting if they have to.
00:43:50.580 And if,
00:43:51.200 and if you put them to the test and they don't pass,
00:43:53.360 there is no,
00:43:54.140 you are not obligated to support them.
00:43:56.040 So this either like,
00:43:57.340 Oh,
00:43:57.620 if it's like,
00:43:58.160 you're not with us and you're,
00:43:59.120 you're supporting,
00:43:59.700 you know,
00:44:00.160 the,
00:44:00.320 the liberals.
00:44:00.840 No,
00:44:01.900 you know,
00:44:02.440 that that's,
00:44:03.460 this attitude is how it's got us here.
00:44:04.680 Vote for the lesser of two evils.
00:44:05.880 No,
00:44:06.000 no,
00:44:06.080 no.
00:44:06.720 I demand,
00:44:07.680 uh,
00:44:07.960 no evil.
00:44:08.720 I demand someone,
00:44:09.820 you know,
00:44:10.160 with some,
00:44:10.800 with some,
00:44:11.300 with some,
00:44:11.780 some gusto and some spine and who isn't afraid to,
00:44:15.260 uh,
00:44:15.480 isn't,
00:44:15.840 isn't afraid to fight.
00:44:17.620 And speaking of evil,
00:44:19.020 we have a news media,
00:44:21.140 you know,
00:44:21.720 industry that is complicit in this evil.
00:44:24.700 They promote this type of evil.
00:44:26.600 And part of the strategy of this so-called opposition party is essentially just to listen to the media.
00:44:32.220 And this is one comment from a Sean here.
00:44:34.460 Sorry to single,
00:44:35.080 single you out,
00:44:35.760 Sean,
00:44:35.940 but I completely disagree with this.
00:44:37.680 I understand your frustration with the CPC,
00:44:39.580 but in order to get elected,
00:44:40.880 you need to have the media,
00:44:42.580 including the MSM on your side or not against you.
00:44:46.320 False.
00:44:47.060 That is not true.
00:44:47.860 We saw that South,
00:44:48.880 South,
00:44:49.280 South,
00:44:49.780 South in the,
00:44:50.240 um,
00:44:50.600 South of the States,
00:44:51.460 Trump got elected and the media hated him.
00:44:53.520 They were polling 98% chance.
00:44:55.880 Um,
00:44:56.580 for,
00:44:56.960 uh,
00:44:57.320 Hillary to win.
00:44:58.780 Yeah.
00:44:58.900 Again,
00:44:59.300 this,
00:44:59.580 this,
00:44:59.960 this mindset is,
00:45:01.160 well,
00:45:01.260 we have to make the media happy to get elected.
00:45:03.500 That means you're placing the media in the hierarchy of,
00:45:06.520 of power is above you.
00:45:08.140 It's above the own people you're voting for.
00:45:10.240 There is some,
00:45:10.840 the media will decide if you are worthy to sit in the chair or not.
00:45:14.040 That's crazy and insane.
00:45:15.620 And especially considering what the media has done the last couple of years,
00:45:18.860 the gaslighting,
00:45:19.480 the like,
00:45:19.880 don't,
00:45:20.260 here's why you shouldn't invite your family over for Thanksgiving.
00:45:23.060 Here's why you should ostracize your own family during the holiday.
00:45:25.880 It's the most depressing and stressful time of year.
00:45:28.280 Maybe you should just not talk to them.
00:45:29.820 Invite.
00:45:30.220 Maybe you should just hope that they kill themselves in their basement.
00:45:33.360 Yes.
00:45:33.640 We need,
00:45:34.180 we need the moral.
00:45:35.340 Okay.
00:45:36.260 From those people.
00:45:38.000 Absolutely not.
00:45:39.360 Not in a minute.
00:45:40.140 No,
00:45:40.700 Sean.
00:45:40.880 No,
00:45:41.640 sir.
00:45:42.340 Sorry.
00:45:43.200 Exactly.
00:45:43.900 We need the opposition fearing the people guys.
00:45:47.060 And we don't need it fearing the media.
00:45:49.120 That is the solution to stimulate that conversation.
00:45:53.040 Popularize this conversation,
00:45:54.480 you know,
00:45:54.720 talk amongst your peers and eventually get to the point where we can go out to
00:46:00.180 whether it's the office of the MP or whether it's,
00:46:02.440 uh,
00:46:02.680 you know,
00:46:03.040 the public events and,
00:46:04.360 and apply pressure,
00:46:05.540 get them fearing us.
00:46:06.660 And you'll notice whenever that happens in the media,
00:46:09.860 Oh,
00:46:10.420 Jagmeet Singh got yelled at,
00:46:11.820 or this other politician got yelled at.
00:46:13.820 The media says the same thing.
00:46:15.040 And even the opposition says the same thing.
00:46:17.280 Don't do that.
00:46:18.300 Guys.
00:46:19.040 Don't get upset.
00:46:20.320 Don't get morally outraged.
00:46:22.060 Don't voice your moral outrage.
00:46:24.040 This,
00:46:24.700 this is about self.
00:46:26.460 This is about self-respect guys.
00:46:28.560 Like this is honestly about self-respect.
00:46:30.580 We are making this show to encourage you guys to respect yourselves.
00:46:34.020 And like Jeremy said last week,
00:46:36.080 it's okay to demand higher standards in this country.
00:46:40.400 Any last words before we go,
00:46:42.040 Jeremy?
00:46:43.300 Uh,
00:46:43.700 yeah.
00:46:43.940 Like they want you to just let,
00:46:45.480 let us punch you in the face.
00:46:46.880 And if you say,
00:46:48.720 Hey,
00:46:48.840 stop that.
00:46:49.420 Or,
00:46:49.640 or even raise a fist to me,
00:46:50.700 that's unacceptable.
00:46:51.300 Only I may do that.
00:46:52.780 You know,
00:46:53.060 only I may gaslight,
00:46:54.440 you know,
00:46:54.620 they'll attack someone like me and say that you're,
00:46:56.160 you're,
00:46:56.740 uh,
00:46:56.880 you're inciting hatred and,
00:46:58.560 and,
00:46:58.800 and with your platform,
00:47:00.600 but we can go on TV and suggest that we're going to other,
00:47:03.800 millions of our own citizens and suggest that maybe you should be
00:47:06.240 barred from grocery stores and what's to be done with you and that
00:47:08.300 kind of thing.
00:47:09.760 They react to these things because they're weak.
00:47:12.300 They're,
00:47:12.740 they're narcissistic,
00:47:13.800 self-interested people.
00:47:14.680 And they respond to these kinds of,
00:47:16.200 they hate it.
00:47:16.840 They're terrified.
00:47:17.360 That's why I don't,
00:47:18.460 I don't like rage.
00:47:19.220 I don't like the signs because it's going to be pointed at you next.
00:47:21.660 They don't,
00:47:21.900 they don't like being confronted and be held to be held accountable.
00:47:24.780 It scares them.
00:47:25.760 It reminds me of a,
00:47:26.760 uh,
00:47:27.320 when I see that,
00:47:28.560 it reminds me of a clip from a,
00:47:29.860 of what a great,
00:47:30.980 amazing movie.
00:47:31.520 I love,
00:47:32.320 I've always loved it.
00:47:32.880 It's called Cinderella man.
00:47:33.880 Have you seen that one with Russell Crowe?
00:47:35.260 It's the story of,
00:47:35.900 uh,
00:47:36.200 James Braddock,
00:47:36.800 a boxer from the depression era.
00:47:38.100 Yeah.
00:47:38.420 And,
00:47:38.740 uh,
00:47:38.940 towards the end of the movie,
00:47:39.800 he's got broke.
00:47:40.360 He's going into the fight with broken ribs that have just,
00:47:42.160 you know,
00:47:42.320 recently healed.
00:47:42.940 And,
00:47:43.100 and,
00:47:43.660 uh,
00:47:43.780 the other guy's fighting,
00:47:44.700 he just,
00:47:45.160 you know,
00:47:45.620 digs them with a,
00:47:46.440 with a,
00:47:46.800 with a left hook to the broken rib.
00:47:48.440 And he,
00:47:48.760 there's a,
00:47:49.420 there's a,
00:47:49.440 there's a whins and a flinch there.
00:47:50.600 And the other guy goes,
00:47:51.140 Oh,
00:47:51.360 Oh,
00:47:51.960 is that the right spot,
00:47:53.120 Jimmy?
00:47:53.600 And then in,
00:47:54.400 in come a few more.
00:47:55.440 So when I see that,
00:47:56.660 I see,
00:47:57.080 Oh,
00:47:57.360 Oh,
00:47:57.900 that's a weak spot.
00:47:58.800 They don't like that.
00:47:59.680 Do more of that.
00:48:00.640 Get in their face and hold them accountable and say,
00:48:02.480 Hey,
00:48:02.760 asshole.
00:48:03.500 You know,
00:48:03.960 what are you doing to my country?
00:48:05.100 Can you explain this?
00:48:06.440 They really don't like it.
00:48:07.340 When the finance minister was confronted in that,
00:48:09.420 uh,
00:48:09.840 what was that?
00:48:10.220 The hospital,
00:48:10.800 wherever she was,
00:48:11.600 the guy used foul language.
00:48:13.480 He was angry,
00:48:14.500 you know,
00:48:14.840 all whatever.
00:48:15.320 He didn't threaten her.
00:48:16.480 He didn't throw things at her.
00:48:17.500 He didn't say,
00:48:17.820 I'm going to,
00:48:18.320 he just stood there,
00:48:19.460 stood his ground and said,
00:48:20.660 F you,
00:48:23.120 I know what you're doing and I hate your guts.
00:48:25.440 And as as well within his right to do that.
00:48:27.520 And they all from all aspects would know,
00:48:30.300 no,
00:48:30.380 no,
00:48:30.480 no,
00:48:30.520 no boo shame.
00:48:31.320 Don't do that because that could be them next.
00:48:33.880 I think more of that.
00:48:36.160 Look at the left.
00:48:37.400 Look at the success of the liberal party.
00:48:39.540 Moral outrage works.
00:48:42.160 And numbers shame you,
00:48:43.560 but you can't shame them.
00:48:45.380 Exactly.
00:48:46.120 Exactly.
00:48:46.560 So we need to start doing that,
00:48:48.200 um,
00:48:48.520 on our side of the aisle and we cannot be complicit with this,
00:48:52.180 with this week conservative party of Canada,
00:48:54.020 but that's going to do it for us on the show.
00:48:57.100 Uh,
00:48:57.580 tune in next week for controlled opposition and check out last week's episode.
00:49:01.480 If you did not see it for everything,
00:49:03.020 Jeremy McKenzie,
00:49:03.960 people can go to raging disident.com.
00:49:06.040 Is that,
00:49:06.420 is that the best place to go?
00:49:07.600 Jeremy?
00:49:08.620 I wouldn't recommend it.
00:49:09.900 You will be on a watch list.
00:49:11.080 The police will come to your house.
00:49:12.560 Uh,
00:49:13.120 but yes,
00:49:13.540 if you,
00:49:13.960 if that sounds like it's exciting and you know,
00:49:16.260 your life needs to be,
00:49:17.880 uh,
00:49:18.160 you know,
00:49:19.260 dangerous.
00:49:19.780 I'm mostly kidding.
00:49:22.880 Raging disident.com has all the links to everything that I waste my time doing.
00:49:26.500 And,
00:49:26.900 and,
00:49:27.200 uh,
00:49:27.560 yeah,
00:49:27.840 that's,
00:49:28.140 that's all.
00:49:28.700 That's it.
00:49:29.300 Thank you so much for,
00:49:30.500 uh,
00:49:30.700 for being here.
00:49:31.240 Jeremy McKenzie,
00:49:31.820 we'll see you next week and it is okay to demand higher standards.
00:49:36.920 Thanks guys.
00:49:37.580 We'll talk to you soon.
