00:00:31.180 their story? I'm Greg Wycliffe and I'm producing a documentary called The Hate Network. It's all

00:03:36.120 research, purchasing new production equipment, purchasing hard drives to store the footage,

00:03:41.080 travel costs which included a trip out west to Alberta, and we've also started to cover

00:03:45.040 some of the editing costs. From here on out, we need $10,000 more for the remainder of the

00:03:50.360 editing costs. This ensures the color grading, music, and sound is to the highest quality standard.

00:03:56.480 And for the marketing and promotion, we need at least $5,000. But really, for a documentary

00:04:00.940 film to have a big impact and be internationally successful, we're hoping to get a marketing

00:04:05.700 budget of $20,000. This will allow for events like screening the documentary across the country

00:04:11.660 in major cities, press releases, online ads and exposure, and submissions to international

00:04:16.840 film festivals. Canada is not as free as you think it is. And this documentary will clearly

00:04:22.480 illustrate this story for a wide audience. It's being crafted to appeal even to the average

00:04:28.100 elbows up regular CBC watcher. So the larger the marketing budget, the larger the impact this

00:04:34.160 will have on making Canadians of all stripes confront what's really going on in their country.

00:04:40.120 And the larger budget will also help us get as many eyeballs on Ottawa as possible, so

00:04:44.700 we can start holding these people accountable. I believe telling this story is critically important

00:04:50.100 to protecting free speech in Canada. And that's exactly why I pursued this project well over
