It's the last day of the year and it's time to reflect on the good, the bad, the ugly, and the just plain ugly that happened in 2019. But there's a silver lining at the end of the tunnel, and that's that we have a new year and a new decade!

00:00:00.000 Hey everyone, it's the last day of December of Don't Be Demoralized December.
00:00:04.880 Earlier in the month I said this, I'm doing daily uploads for this month of December.
00:00:10.740 Obviously we didn't quite reach that goal, but that's okay.
00:00:14.580 That's okay because I push myself in other ways and it's good because I'm figuring out
00:00:19.960 a lot of the new toys that I have and trying to push out quality content to you guys more
00:00:27.000 effectively. Because the thing is, I don't want to waste your time. I don't want to waste your time
00:00:31.340 with any mediocre content or things like this. So I am kind of getting a handle on the best way to
00:00:37.780 deliver you guys quality content about Canadian politics, Canadian news, and of course throwing
00:00:44.580 in some humor and music there. And that's something that was big this month. I released my very first
00:00:49.000 professionally produced music video, Two More Weeks.
00:00:57.000 And I got to shout out Greg Arcade because it would not have happened without this man.
00:01:03.300 He played the drums on the track. He played the guitars, the bass on the track, and he mixed and
00:01:08.940 mastered the whole thing. Thank you, man. Thank you. I'm really grateful that you helped step me
00:01:16.020 through the process. And if you want to help support more music like that, go over to his website
00:01:21.940 and send him some money. He has many ways that you can, you know, send him some resources there
00:01:27.240 because we're going to be making at least a few more of these. Other than that, I'm quite excited
00:01:32.260 for 2022. Things could be worse. You know, we did have some wins this month. New Brunswick reversed
00:01:39.720 their decision to ban uncircumcised people from grocery stores or giving grocery stores the option 0.99
00:01:45.900 to ban uncircumcised people. So there was a win and there's many small wins that happen all the time. 0.88
00:01:51.060 And the common thing that they have in common is that enough people, they had the numbers,
00:01:58.560 enough people stood up to say, no, no. The magic word, no. Enough people stood up and said no. And I
00:02:08.520 think there's a lesson in there. And I think it is only the beginning of Canadians finding their
00:02:15.180 backbone, finding their set of testicles and standing up for what they believe in and saying, no, that's 0.99
00:02:22.300 actually wrong. Thank you very much. But we're going to give them hell in 2022. Much more to come. And 0.99
00:02:27.780 most importantly, don't be demoralized. We're going to talk to you soon. Happy New Year, by the way.
