In 2021, most people are conservative. If you have an interest in conserving democratic, free, Western society and its values, you are a conservative. But when it comes to politics, good Canadian men are too scared to get involved or even talk about it.

00:00:00.000 In 2021, most people are conservative. What do I mean by this? If you think there's a difference
00:00:05.000 between men and women, you are conservative. If you have an interest in conserving democratic,
00:00:13.160 free, Western society and its values, you are conservative. A lot of people don't know this
00:00:18.940 and they don't admit this, and mostly because of political tribalism and people are being afraid
00:00:23.420 of being associated with conservatives because they're so often accused of being racist that
00:00:28.600 they don't want to be a conservative. And then when this happens, well, the left keeps winning and the
00:00:33.380 left keeps pushing the Overton window. But I'm a Canadian. My name's Greg. And today I'm going to
00:00:39.040 do a Gadsad style video where I read through a Twitter thread that I wrote recently because I
00:00:44.060 think it's poignant and worth a video. You may know Viva Fry, Montreal litigator turned YouTuber.
00:00:50.320 I have nothing but respect for this guy. He has great content on YouTube. He curates information
00:00:54.720 for people and it's very valuable what he does. However, he tweeted something last month and part
00:01:01.160 of it really, I really took issue with. He said, I am not conservative. So when I say this,
00:01:09.000 it's as a neutral observer. If the conservative party of Canada does not abandon or replace Aaron
00:01:15.460 O'Toole, they deserve to lose and they have no one to blame but themselves unless the strategy is just
00:01:20.260 to split the spoils at Pierre Paulyev. So I pretty well agree with this sentiment here.
00:01:25.860 But what bothers me is his initial statement. I am not conservative. So when I say this,
00:01:31.640 it's as a neutral observer, basically trying to keep his skin out of the game. And I'm sure that
00:01:38.380 Viva has his reasons for doing this, like any professional would have the reasons for doing
00:01:42.800 this, but it triggered me. So I wrote this thread. I love Viva Fry, but this attitude is what's
00:01:50.160 killing Canada. Men who disagree with woke insanity and the liberal party's authoritarianism, but being
00:01:57.640 too afraid to take a stand on it. I'm not conservative. You're pussyfooting around and critiquing those
00:02:04.520 from the sideline. Canada is in this pitiful state because good Canadian men are refusing to get involved
00:02:12.440 in Canadian politics. Or in many cases, even talk about it. I didn't put that in there, but like
00:02:17.480 many cases even talking about it. Everyone and their dog loves to commiserate over how pathetic the 0.98
00:02:24.240 Conservative Party of Canada is. But when it comes to getting involved, suddenly they act like scared, 0.99
00:02:30.020 castrated centrists. Canadian children are being groomed to be immunocompromised and told that they
00:02:37.060 might be transgender. Future generations are inheriting our massive debts while we actively 1.00
00:02:42.800 design a new normal in Canadian society devoid of freedom. What do Canadian men say? I'm not
00:02:49.440 conservative. I get the logic of this confused fence-sitting statement saying, you know, it's good
00:02:57.240 for optics and it's good for business, right? Well, I don't want to take a political stand. It's good for
00:03:01.880 optics. It's good for business. But ask yourself, one, who is benefiting from my compliant political
00:03:08.080 attitude? And two, when it comes to the detestable decisions made by politicians and bureaucrats,
00:03:15.660 are they not using the same logic? It's good for optics and it's good for business? All I'm saying
00:03:21.240 is we're living through a pivotal time in history right now. And Canadian men are more concerned with
00:03:27.380 the pettiness of social conventions and what their wife's annoying friend might have to stay
00:03:32.600 instead of standing for something, taking a risk and doing the right thing. Sure, getting involved
00:03:39.100 in politics is a frustrating uphill battle complete with a big dose of cough syrup cynicism. But here's
00:03:46.460 the reality, especially in Canada, no one is coming to save us. We need to do it ourselves. Good men in
00:03:54.120 Canada can turn this country around. The only question you have to ask yourself is this,
00:04:00.860 are you more qualified than a drama teacher? Thank you for watching and we'll talk to you soon.
