00:00:00.320 It's Monday. Time for a save free speech update. This is vlog number two. It is

00:00:05.960 August 19th and let's start off with some big news. Since last week we've raised

00:00:11.940 over twelve hundred dollars. We're at three point eight thousand on our way to

00:00:17.360 producing and releasing this documentary. And on that front I have been talking to

00:00:23.220 people who have experience fundraising and there's some strategies that we're

00:00:28.300 gonna be employing probably closer to September by the time that's actually

00:00:33.820 laid out. But in that same vein there is a lot of sort of consulting that I'm doing

00:00:39.820 in the background of how to make things more effective all the way down to the

00:00:45.580 documentary message being more effective, the fundraising being more effective, the

00:00:50.320 website being more effective, and also just the you know production process of

00:00:55.360 everything that we're doing. But on the immediate future this week I'm gonna be

00:01:00.280 streaming on Tuesday and Thursday evening probably around 7 30 p.m. Eastern Time.

00:01:07.600 And what else is on my mind? I guess I got to do a zoom call last week with some

00:01:14.040 some freedom leaders of the freedom community in different places and it was

00:01:18.700 good to kind of give the elevator pitch of say free speech to these you know

00:01:22.060 professionals or people who are you know activists in Canada. Because it was a good

00:01:27.480 sort of it was a good exercise especially because everyone kind of has their own

00:01:34.900 view on reality right. Everyone has their own sort of thing that they're focusing on.

00:01:40.560 Some people don't even know about Bill C63. Some people don't even know. Some people

00:01:45.400 think that Canada is fine. You know some people think that everything's totally fine

00:01:49.680 because they watch the CBC. And yeah it's good to remind myself of that because I need

00:01:59.680 to kind of assume that people don't know anything in a way. I need to assume that

00:02:04.680 people don't know what I know and or that or what we know the people who are more

00:02:10.680 you know following this stuff. So that's kind of that was a good exercise good

00:02:15.060 reminder in terms of well I was I was doing a lot of writing today in terms of

00:02:21.820 like the really important videos that need to be out there to the important

00:02:26.820 messages that people need to understand about this bill. And I thought you know

00:02:29.740 what what if the person viewing doesn't know anything. And so yeah that's it's

00:02:36.140 gonna be interesting to see how these how these videos turn out because I really do

00:02:41.240 want to reach high in terms of reaching people outside of our echo chamber. And

00:02:45.800 it's been a kind of humbling experience to be like you know what I might be

00:02:49.820 really excited about this. I might know a lot about this and be very insistent on

00:02:55.520 how people should really care about this. But I need to remember there's a huge

00:02:59.700 information gap there. There's a massive information gap. People don't know about

00:03:04.880 XYZ. People don't know about the strong pattern of tyranny happening in Canada.

00:03:12.440 They don't know the long list of political prisoners in this country. They

00:03:16.620 don't know the emerging pattern of the RCMP and police showing up people's

00:03:21.700 showing up at people's houses for their political opinions. And it's my job at

00:03:29.040 sayfreespeech.ca to explain this to people present this information to people

00:03:34.260 in a way that that meets them where they're at. That is the goal. But also on a

00:03:41.340 more personal note I am getting quite excited because it's been a while since

00:03:46.020 I've been into the content game and making content consistently. And I'm

00:03:51.540 getting I'm getting the hang of it a hang of it again right. I'm getting back into

00:03:55.660 these into these habits of writing quicker making videos quicker pumping

00:04:00.880 them out faster. So that's really exciting and I'm excited to yeah make make

00:04:06.600 better habits and be more efficient at that. And I am really excited to be

00:04:10.660 doing more live streams. We only did two last week but I had a lot of fun with
