00:00:14.220 points we're making with our multiculturalism policy. Number one, this policy is only referring

00:00:19.420 to official multiculturalism. As it exists right now, it allows certain groups to win taxpayer

00:00:26.300 money or government funds to help them practice their culture above everybody else's in Canada,

00:00:33.460 the many, many other cultures in Canada. We don't think that you need government intervention and

00:00:37.720 government funds to help exercise your cultural practice. Number two, we are rejecting Trudeau's

00:00:43.900 notion that Canada is a post-national state and that Canada has no core identity. The PPC and

00:00:51.000 Maxime Bernier believes that there are characteristics unique to Canadians that make Canadians such

00:00:57.200 sweet people and Canada such a great place to live and immigrate to. And number three,

00:01:02.360 Maxime Bernier is actually defining Canadian Western values. They are democracy, individual rights and

00:01:08.320 freedoms, including the freedom of religious belief and the freedom to criticize religion,

00:01:12.080 equality between men and women, the equal treatment of citizens, regardless of ethnicity,

00:01:16.300 religion, or sexual orientation, the separation of state and religion, tolerance and pluralism,

00:01:22.400 the rule of law, and the loyalty to the wider society as a whole, and not just to one's tribe

00:01:32.440 and let me know why. And you might be thinking, oh, Greg, obviously, I mean, obviously those values,

00:01:37.980 not so fast. Because under official multiculturalism, we actually have to accept all cultures,

00:01:43.720 even if they disagree with something as simple as equality between men and women. And also,

00:01:49.820 with Motion 103 on Islamophobia, it's not even clear if we can criticize all religions anymore in

00:01:55.820 Canada. It was Joe Rogan who said culture is just a BS word for human behavior, giving the example of

00:02:03.320 cannibalism. Should cannibals in Canada get taxpayer money to help them exercise their culture? Of course not.

00:02:11.020 And getting rid of official multiculturalism helps eliminate that absurd possibility.

00:02:17.960 The PPC believes in a smaller government and less bureaucracy. Canada is naturally a beautiful,

00:02:23.980 cultural mosaic. Government intervention is not necessary to keep it that way. We believe in
