Greg Wycliffe - what does Rebel News do for us？ - Controlled Op mini

00:00:00.000 So this is a new thing called filming while driving. I do go deep into thought while I'm

00:00:06.920 driving and I thought wouldn't it be cool to you know just prop up my phone safely of course.

00:00:12.720 Safely. That's a lot of sunlight. And you know pop a quick video on for the people to enjoy.

00:00:19.800 I am a very good driver by the way. I did Young Drivers of Canada when I got my license so you

00:00:26.180 know it's good. So you know I'm really good at it. But I really wish the reason I'm making this video

00:00:32.320 is I wish I had more time to do controlled opposition. Because there's so much to talk

00:00:43.560 about right now in regards to controlled opposition. And in many ways Daily Wire

00:00:52.280 is kind of I would I would argue is one of the biggest baddest examples of controlled

00:01:02.120 opposition. And it really gravely affects Canada as well. And it affects the entire conservative

00:01:12.100 conversation. And we're also seeing all this weird stuff coming from Stephen Crowder as well

00:01:19.680 which isn't unrelated. Like it's I'm not saying it's directly related but it's also like not

00:01:25.040 unrelated either. There's this sort of uh pattern going on here. And I would even throw Rebel News

00:01:33.000 into into this conversation where it's it's like um yeah hi the the largest so-called conservative

00:01:41.120 heroes available online are all frauds. Like not necessarily frauds maybe that's a little far

00:01:50.080 but it's it their their their main objective is not really the same as those who consume and view and

00:02:04.400 fund these platforms. Uh there's a little bit of a disconnect there. You know uh recently there's

00:02:13.100 been accusations that the Daily Wire for example largest conservative platform online is is an

00:02:20.020 an Israeli first um platform. Which essentially means like they're not they're not putting America 0.98

00:02:27.780 first. It's actually the interest of Israel is it's sort of like the it supersedes the political

00:02:35.280 agenda the political priorities uh of this organization. I'm not going to go into the detail as to why that

00:02:42.480 argument's being made but the Candace Owens thing certainly kind of lays it all out. Uh she's a 1.00

00:02:50.080 Christian. She talks about uh putting America first. She talks about putting Christ first at the center of

00:02:57.440 that and suddenly a number of individuals including the person who owns the Daily Wire has a problem

00:03:04.480 with that. It's kind of weird and it's it is worth talking about and and it's it really speaks to sort

00:03:12.920 of um well it doesn't speak to but it but it sort of cracks open the conversation of well how you know

00:03:25.820 like what is the purpose of something like Daily Wire? What is the actual function of something like

00:03:32.760 Rebel News? What is the actual like outcome of somebody like Steven Crowder? Because there really is

00:03:39.240 so much rightful frustration rightful anger um discussed with what's going on in western countries.

00:03:50.560 The incompetence the corruption the immorality the evil the hey it looks like these people are

00:04:00.260 systematically destroying these western countries and we all know this many many people know this

00:04:09.540 agree with this agree with what I'm saying and many of them watch Daily Wire many of them will

00:04:15.400 consume a mug club with Steven Crowder many of them will watch Rebel News and what is what do we get

00:04:21.080 from that what is the outcome what is the sort of conclusion other than with with with Rebel News

00:04:28.340 it's funding more Rebel News content it's funding more fundraisers okay it's fundraisers for what

00:04:36.380 fundraisers apparently for Rebel News and this is this is kind of important too because

00:04:42.980 like the Rebel News fundraisers what do we get from them that's a great question because let's use

00:04:51.160 the Coots 4 for example they started a fundraiser apparently um I actually don't know like the

00:04:57.480 specific specific details of this but long story short

00:05:01.300 Rebel News started a fundraiser for Coots 4 what was the result I don't know but they were in jail for

00:05:10.680 over two years but then all of a sudden Diagalon Jeremy McKenzie and company started their fundraiser to

00:05:20.860 get an actually good lawyer they raised over a hundred K and wow what do you know the guy got out like

00:05:28.040 very quickly so what I'm saying is the net result of the fundraiser from Diagalon not even in

00:05:37.460 not a corporation not incorporated whatsoever literally a club literally a podcast club

00:05:43.740 slash community around Jeremy McKenzie that got a better return on investment and much more quickly

00:05:50.220 by the way than the Rebel News fundraiser right because guys like I said the frustration the anger

00:05:58.060 all of this stuff because of the you know corrupt evil people who ruining our countries like

00:06:05.540 what what what what are the results what are we getting what are we getting for this like at least

00:06:10.640 with a Diagalon fundraiser we got the Coots 4 starting to get come out of jail you know and people

00:06:18.600 might say oh that was a coincidence it wasn't a coincidence like you really think that Rebel News 0.83

00:06:24.240 their connections their funding their you know they've dealt with lawyers for a long fucking time 0.91

00:06:30.720 and then all of a sudden like why why did why did they fucking net nothing why did nothing come out 0.94

00:06:37.980 out of that it was it was Jeremy McKenzie and crew that that's what that's what got a result out of 0.93

00:06:45.820 that I kind of I kind of you know went on a tangent and just kind of focused on one of these kind of

00:06:51.740 I would argue controlled opposition sort of platforms Rebel News but that that's a really great

00:06:56.800 example of like what do we get uh for these platforms um that get funded so much

00:07:04.680 and the answer is like not that much I'm trying to think of an example for you know Mug Club 0.93

00:07:12.460 Steven Crowder and the Daily Wire you know um sure we get some content from Steven Crowder

00:07:19.040 how do we get all these laughs but it's almost seems as if uh the culture war that conservative

00:07:29.060 people push or you know talk about like whoa look at these crazy trannies whoa the left the left is so 1.00

00:07:38.920 backwards uh it's almost like that is becoming the distraction that is that is the bread and circus

00:07:45.240 because uh you know again what do they give us in terms of results metaphorically not literally

00:07:58.640 metaphorically this is a metaphor I've been watching a lot of the Game of Thrones okay

00:08:03.440 metaphorically we want to see these people's heads on stakes metaphorically don't I don't mean that

00:08:11.320 literally but metaphorically but metaphorically it's like we want to see these people humiliated

00:08:15.100 exposed for corruption we want to see them taken down not violently nothing of that but like you

00:08:23.280 know taken down politically and all these platforms do is like sell books make movies get our attention

00:08:31.560 to sell us advertising 0.95

00:08:32.960 we're schmucks you know what I mean like we're we're kind of we're being milked like a cow like 0.98

00:08:43.380 like our frustration our anger all that rightful stuff like I said it's getting taken advantage of 0.98

00:08:48.560 and being monetized by these controlled opposition platforms that's a problem because that's like wasted

00:08:56.480 energy it's taking our very legitimate qualms and and and frustration and energy and it's

00:09:02.860 putting it into Ben Shapiro's bank account you know it's like that or Ezra LeVant's bank account you

00:09:11.000 know like hey let's let's buy another one of Ezra's Ezra LeVant's books telling us how evil Trudeau is

00:09:18.760 and the country's still burning but I got Ezra's book see what I'm saying we're not really getting

00:09:28.860 much of a return on investment anyway I hope you enjoyed this video did you think my driving was

00:09:34.360 safe I thought it was pretty I thought it was awesome I thought it was great hope everybody

00:09:39.660 has a happy Easter and we'll talk to you soon
