00:00:00.000 With Trump getting into the States, a lot of Canadians are realizing how not very good
00:00:04.580 Pierre Polyev is as a conservative. Trump is already scrapping DEI programs, he's started
00:00:09.360 the deportation process, and he's pardoned everybody from January 6th. And if you compare
00:00:14.520 that to Pierre Polyev, he doesn't even talk about the political prisoners from the trucker convoy
00:00:19.260 who are still dealing with the legal fallout for protesting mandates. But anyway, it's great to see
00:00:25.000 more conservative Canadians call this out. Like Polyev doesn't want to do any big changes to the
00:00:29.700 equalization program. And this guy from out West, Marty up North, says he's better than any liberal,
00:00:34.660 but I'm already getting ready to be disappointed. Talking about Polyev. But then he also says,
00:00:39.600 and no, the PPC is not an option. And that's why I wanted to make this video, because I see all of
00:00:44.280 this sort of like instinctual shitting on the PPC. And I get it. Hey, he's not gonna win. He sounds
00:00:49.940 too French. He keeps losing by-elections. I actually ran for the PPC back in 2019. And even to this day,
00:00:56.860 you know, there are valid criticisms I think that people have of Max and the party and how it could
00:01:01.380 improve. And I would agree with them. But here's the thing. I met amazing people by volunteering for
00:01:07.560 the PPC and getting involved. Some people who are which my friends today. And like when I joined the
00:01:13.920 PPC, did I think they were going to win the election and become prime minister? No, of course not.
00:01:17.520 But I recognized how bad things were in Canada. And how it's like, you know what, maybe I'll just
00:01:24.580 start by connecting with like-minded people. And that's really what the PPC still represents and
00:01:30.900 still is why it's very, very valuable to Canadians who want to try and make a change in this country.
00:01:36.660 It's very easy to sit inside and be mad online, bitching at everything. It's very difficult to get
00:01:43.020 your ass off the couch and to actually try and, you know, connect with people and start to get
00:01:47.720 involved in politics. You know, everyone wants these easy answers. Hey, Daddy Trump will take
00:01:52.060 care of us. Let's become America. Crazy. But yeah, you can poo-poo the PPC and Max Bernier all you want.
00:01:57.820 But at the end of the day, they represent the most accessible and best opportunity to actually get
00:02:05.940 involved in politics and do something to help your country. Because they do have the nationalistic,
00:02:11.760 true conservative ideas that a lot of Canadians would agree with. And you can meet like-minded
00:02:17.900 people. Because it's not just Max, right? Like there's different individuals in the PPC, candidates
00:02:23.360 who have built platforms and are really kind of making an impact on the conversation. You can show
00:02:29.560 up at the PPC and try to make it your own, make it work for you, and try to leverage it into something
00:02:35.340 that is more effective. You can only get so far if you're just kind of a lone ranger doing your own
00:02:40.700 thing. Because when all of that energy, all of that anti-establishment energy of criticizing
00:02:45.560 Pierre Polyev manifests as a political party, that causes a lot more damage and pain to the
00:02:53.180 conservative party, which then forces them to actually change and move and try to become more
00:02:57.940 conservative. Like some of the most popular talking points from Polyev, like defund the CBC,
00:03:03.800 that came from Max and the PPC. So whether you want to admit it or not, whether you think they're
00:03:08.900 going to win or not, you know, they are making an impact by pushing further to the right. They
00:03:13.480 make a difference. But yeah, I just had to make this video because like discouraging people from
00:03:18.220 supporting the PPC, you're kind of discouraging people from collectivizing against the conservative
00:03:23.760 party, which is kind of insane. It's like, you know, if people are frustrated, then where are they
00:03:28.880 going to go?
