00:00:00.480 Okay guys, when is enough enough? January 23rd. I say we start a slow roll across Canada.
00:00:24.200 I love our intro.
00:00:26.240 I do too, I know.
00:00:27.980 Isn't that awesome?
00:00:28.680 hello carmella's back hi wildflower 1957 christy hi how's it going guys welcome
00:00:39.080 to house arrest um can we still call it house arrest well curfew arrest no curfew what
00:00:46.600 just doesn't have the same ring to it we're both in our 50s so like literally 10 p.m till 5 a.m
00:00:54.180 it's kind of like i'm sleeping then anyway so and if anybody wants me to be out past that time
00:00:59.620 they better be buying the beer yeah exactly buckets of it buckets and buckets of it
00:01:06.340 well hello and welcome to house arrest everyone uh we are proud to be sponsored by resistance
00:01:12.500 coffee company of course resistance coffee company serves premium coffee they are a
00:01:18.740 family-run business with strong canadian values and we couldn't be more proud and thrilled to
00:01:23.220 have them as a sponsor and also to the tallow truth a beef tallow based skincare line i'm
00:01:29.380 actually using it and it feels so good it does feel really good i'm really enjoying it
00:01:37.780 um i'm using the face whip and also the lip stuff because it's the lip balm too it's really really
00:01:42.420 good uh if you yes love that cup thank you thank you yes i have a couple of the f-bomb is the uh
00:01:50.420 the lip balm right yes it is yeah and i have had this stuff on the desk now for a little while and
00:01:57.140 i haven't opened it because i'm a it's sealed up really well let's just go out there and say that
00:02:04.500 that's right maybe rielle can help you why don't you run up and ask your wife to open that there's
00:02:09.700 a thing there i can see it now it's easy to open if you're actually intelligent enough to look at
00:02:13.860 the thing so yeah how what changed yesterday morning i know isn't that crazy our house arrest
00:02:21.380 we did it we we did it another milestone marked chris barber i can't believe it look at
00:02:27.700 look at all the stuff that we've made it through
00:02:32.980 isn't it crazy man it's been you know i know we have our critics out there
00:02:39.860 but you know it has been quite challenging the last year and I know we could have been in jail
00:02:46.020 for mischief I'm thankful that we weren't but you know it was I just as of Wednesday I got up in
00:02:54.480 the morning and I did a little bit of paperwork and I jumped in the pickup and I went to town and
00:02:57.940 everywhere I went businesses and you know I went shopping grab some cat food dog food I don't
00:03:04.320 remember washed my pickup my pickup was disgusting I washed it by hand I went to a couple customers
00:03:09.840 customer's place and just said hi. And yeah, went for supper in a movie last night. And I got to
00:03:17.260 tell you, just the added non-pressure there when it comes to, you know, like you put it on your
00:03:22.660 schedule three, four days before you actually get to do it. So on a, when we did a leisure time,
00:03:28.600 you would have to say, we're going for supper at this place from this time. And then this place
00:03:32.680 from this time. And then you're home by this time. Well, thank goodness that, you know,
00:03:38.180 i'm thankful that was uh it was nice to be off that so today yeah today was another day we did
00:03:46.100 a lot of work in the shop and a lot of stuff in the yard we kind of slowed right down and
00:03:49.120 hauling is kind of kind of timid time dried off right now so we're getting caught up on
00:03:53.440 maintenance jonathan i've been working around the yard we've been getting the trucks fixed up today
00:03:56.980 we were like hey we have to take some parts to town and drop them off so why don't we go to town
00:04:00.300 for lunch and so have a nice afternoon together it was it was uh really good what did you do i
00:04:06.180 I guess. Oh, I babysat my granddad, my daughters, basically did lots of stuff here, which was totally fine.
00:04:15.300 Actually, we were all really, really tired yesterday. So but today I got to go.
00:04:21.040 I booked myself a two hour massage with a friend of mine in Minidosa this morning.
00:04:24.780 So I went and had a massage and then I got to go to the grocery store whenever I wanted to.
00:04:31.160 And then I got to go and get gas without having to ask for permission.
00:04:34.220 and yeah so i mean you're right it is it's it's uh took a lot it's a it's a good feeling but uh
00:04:41.880 on the weekend i'm hoping just to hop in the truck i told you last week i just kind of wanted
00:04:45.680 to go for a drive it's so beautiful here chris i wish you could see it like the lakes and the
00:04:50.820 colors it's fall like i mean it's just it's it's just to go for a drive it's absolutely beautiful
00:04:56.900 manitoba is underrated and it is definitely one of the most beautiful provinces in this whole
00:05:02.260 entire country.
00:05:04.380 Wait for next week, Tamara. I will see it.
00:05:06.580 We're going to run down to Missouri
00:05:08.120 and we're going to grab a couple pieces of equipment
00:05:10.440 next week and then we're going to Dauphin, Manitoba
00:05:12.620 with these for a delivery.
00:05:14.220 I can meet you for a coffee.
00:05:16.220 We can meet for a coffee. Finally!
00:05:19.160 Yeah, no kidding.
00:05:20.420 We've seen each other, what, once or twice in the last
00:05:22.600 year? Is it been once, maybe?
00:05:25.720 Actually, I don't
00:05:26.580 actually know. 0.69
00:05:28.220 They're trolls going, they violated.
00:05:30.120 no we didn't violate anything muppets quit but well i just want to say you know i did a post
00:05:37.400 yesterday chris but it has been for me and i'm not going to get emotional but you know you have
00:05:42.280 shown integrity you have shown honor you have shown courage um and i thank god every day that
00:05:50.360 you are my co-accused and that you know as much as i hate all the things that have happened to you
00:05:56.600 i mean um i couldn't be more proud to stand alongside you through all this and like i said
00:06:02.440 i've got your back till the day you die likewise there was a there was obviously a lot of people
00:06:08.680 involved with ottawa and a lot of people in the organizing things but you know we've we've kind
00:06:13.720 of watched them all splinter off and find some reason to be angry at something and i'm just uh
00:06:19.560 i'm more thankful to just to be standing with you i like i said i i think if i had to sit beside
00:06:24.600 anybody else in that courtroom for 60 days i would have probably just pled out and went to jail
00:06:29.000 because uh i don't know anybody other than you it's been it's been an honor and pleasure so
00:06:35.880 never never saw that coming that's for sure but no uh you know here we are and i mean
00:06:45.000 sorry go ahead no big red's got that big deck plate that i had on one for convoy it was the
00:06:50.760 the one that went on the back of the truck and it held the signs and it has a sign board and i was
00:06:54.980 moving some stuff around in the backyard on the weekend uh cleaning up the backyard and and there's
00:06:59.460 this thing buried in the weeds back there and that's the deck plate that i had on red so i i
00:07:04.580 put the forklift underneath it and i lifted it up and i put it on the back of one of the parts trucks
00:07:08.560 just to kind of get it out of the dirt so it wasn't rusting you know i thought to myself you
00:07:13.360 You know, I put this thing back on there and, you know, try and do what we did four and a half years ago.
00:07:22.280 I probably wouldn't now, knowing, not that I wouldn't.
00:07:26.920 I met so many amazing people through Convoy and since then, so many people with their heart in the right place.
00:07:33.020 But I would be so guarded to the people that I would stand with now over some of the stuff that's happened in the last four years and the amount of sides of people that I've seen.
00:07:42.020 i'm still that same guy before convoy i probably humbled myself a little bit and i think i've
00:07:47.440 told her i think i think i grew a lot during convoy but man oh man oh man would i do things
00:07:54.540 different now with some of the association you know there was uh there was a lot to take you know
00:08:02.000 it was a lot yep absolutely well thank you to all of you guys too in the chat um you know we
00:08:11.260 couldn't have uh we couldn't have um probably got through all this without all the love and support
00:08:17.900 from all of you guys all across the entire country as you well know and you know it's uh yeah we still
00:08:24.580 got a ways to go obviously nothing really changes we'll still have a curfew we still have to well i
00:08:30.780 still have to get permission uh to travel outside of the province and if for work and stuff like
00:08:37.220 that so but i mean for the most part even just to have some freedom in the daytime you know i can
00:08:42.120 help my daughter if my son-in-law needs a ride from one field to the next i can actually let go
00:08:46.900 and give him a ride to the field or whatever that you know what i mean so it just frees up a lot of
00:08:50.860 things uh yeah it's good you know one thing i did today jonathan and i dropped their the parts off
00:08:56.880 that we need we uh we stopped at kenworth the dealership for some parts big red had a little
00:09:01.840 bit of an issue and when we were doing the maintenance i found something that needed to be
00:09:04.780 fixed and and the spca and swift current which is something that's near and dear to my heart
00:09:09.520 everybody if you ever know that uh animals are our top priority in my list they're probably better
00:09:14.220 than some humans out there most days i always try to rescue any animal i can most of the animals in
00:09:19.500 our yard are all spc animals or shelter dogs of some sort and the spca built a brand new facility
00:09:26.140 in swift current and they've been they're finally open now they're going to have a grand opening i
00:09:29.740 believe in the spring but a lady lady by the name of laurie stoburg who was a farm lady around the
00:09:35.500 area passed away her husband passed away a few years ago and their son passed away unfortunately
00:09:39.560 years ago and nobody left so laurie left basically her estate to the sbca and swift current to build
00:09:46.780 a new facility and i'll tell you what something so we stopped because i wanted to say hi to the
00:09:52.600 people that work there and go check out the animals and i know there's a huge chance that
00:09:55.820 going to be taking something home so i really really cautioned myself on that when i went in
00:10:00.780 there i'm like i do not need another dog right now but you know they've got a they've got an
00:10:05.580 amazing facility in swift current and we got the private backroom tour she showed us all the
00:10:10.220 different facilities and the handling and the you know obviously we weren't allowed in the quarantine
00:10:14.300 part when the animals come in they have to be quarantined and and um my gosh what an amazing
00:10:20.540 facility there we met some amazing animals you know the dogs that they have right now
00:10:25.020 um they're on their way to to some really amazing things but i just wanted to encourage people 0.97
00:10:30.520 especially anybody in their local communities it's it's volunteer like these spcas aren't funded by
00:10:36.920 government 90 of the time and so our local spca is workshop donations only so if you're going to
00:10:43.380 the grocery store to get food for your other dogs or animals or something like that just just find
00:10:48.220 what your local spca needs and maybe just go get it i think swift current spca just put a list up
00:10:52.860 on their uh on their website on their facebook page too today saying they needed a litter litter
00:10:58.940 baskets or something like that and when i should have done that before i went there obviously and
00:11:03.660 stocked them up on whatever they needed but i will do that later on and volunteers like just walking
00:11:09.580 going and caring for the animals stuff like that it's uh it's really important and uh so i'm
00:11:14.620 I'm excited. I'm going to, like I said today, like now that I'm off house arrest,
00:11:18.580 I can do a little bit more stuff like that. So obviously my social media reach,
00:11:22.060 I'll be able to help them out with, with some of their fundraising platforms,
00:11:26.380 promote their stuff a little bit more. And then more importantly,
00:11:28.720 I can actually go in and spend a little bit of time and volunteer and encourage
00:11:32.880 others to volunteer. So it's all right there.
00:11:36.840 Oh, there was some beautiful dogs at that shelter.
00:11:39.920 There's some adorable cats and I need some barn cats right now is what I need.
00:11:43.660 so I don't need any of the in-house SBCA tame ones.
00:11:46.940 I like the feral ones. 1.00
00:11:47.940 I used to have a deal with the ladies that worked there. 1.00
00:11:49.540 When a feral cat came in, they were just foaming in. 1.00
00:11:51.580 I would come get it and just drop it off in the barn.
00:11:53.840 And then I go in the barn and I scare the daylights out of half of them,
00:11:56.800 but they're all still alive up there and they're flourishing.
00:11:59.540 They're beautiful.
00:12:00.680 And you probably have no mice.
00:12:02.940 I need some more cats.
00:12:04.120 We've had, I don't know why.
00:12:05.480 Oh, really?
00:12:05.940 We've lost a few.
00:12:06.860 Whether a cougar, like we've got,
00:12:08.520 we're right on the side of the river hills here.
00:12:10.260 Yeah.
00:12:11.160 Well, every now and then we'll get a cougar or lynx
00:12:12.800 something that comes up into the yard or a fox and and i don't know if that's where they all
00:12:16.960 disappeared but we lost quite a few in the last few years so we'll have to replenish charlie and
00:12:21.360 zeke are obviously not doing their job protecting the yard they're too busy in the breezeway sleeping
00:12:25.760 so circle of life it's a small circle of life for barn cats usually the old ones uh are usually
00:12:32.480 plump for a reason very very soon well let's show them everybody else what you've been working on
00:12:38.640 tasha's got these loaded so i'm gonna bring up uh this first picture that you shared with us
00:12:43.680 so that's the start that's a 19 1952 tractor it was made in uh i was a branford ontario
00:12:51.120 wow southern and ontario so they made a series of tractors back in the 50s 40s 50s 60s and this is
00:12:57.680 the smallest version of the tractor right here i got this from uh from a farm one of my good
00:13:03.120 friends in vanguard saskatchewan his name was philip and he uh well this was his yard tractor
00:13:08.400 so he had a mower built underneath it that thing is literally the most unsafe thing you've seen in
00:13:12.400 your life it looks like it is it was something that went in the scrap pile and has been recycled
00:13:18.080 since thank goodness farm cab farm but it did its purpose for the farm so jonathan and i we started
00:13:24.720 this project in the spring um we stripped it right to nothing we rebuilt it up and and well tasha
00:13:31.520 show them what it looks like today yeah i'll bring it up there she is that's crazy what a difference
00:13:40.480 needs a muffler that's what we didn't have a muffler yet and i forgot to grab one in town
00:13:44.160 today but that is uh we're still looking for a deckle package for you know i found them online
00:13:49.200 so i just have to order them but uh yeah that is that is our new newest restored tractor we uh
00:13:55.360 that's what jonathan and i's passion is right here just fixing this old stuff up and there's
00:13:59.280 nothing better than getting your hands dirty and putting some paint on things and cleaning it right
00:14:03.040 up yeah and what an absolute great project for you to do with um your son it is oh you know we
00:14:12.160 had a blast today uh today we had our truck side by side in the shop now that that tractor's out
00:14:16.720 of the shop taking up so much space and the paint booths down we had some time to park our truck
00:14:21.520 side by side and we did some maintenance and some pre-winter work i know bigger it'll be done here
00:14:27.120 and well when the snow flies and it sounds like the snow is going to fly on sunday in saskatchewan
00:14:31.840 so are you kidding me forecast it's for snow it's coming oh no it can't snow because we're
00:14:39.120 still in a camper for like four more weeks this can't happen it should get it should get better
00:14:44.720 there's just a system coming through we'll get some snow and some flurries i doubt it'll even
00:14:48.480 stick and then it'll be we better not see a salt truck because it shouldn't be melting on the
00:14:53.200 the highway so yeah yeah a little red what's that yeah big red's in the background there in that
00:15:01.000 picture she sits inside we kind of hit her we hit her lull here the last little while like i know
00:15:07.180 once harvest is done we've always got a harvest rush for trying to get guys combines in when
00:15:11.580 they're broken breaking down and and guys are obviously buying secondhand combines to finish
00:15:16.040 what they were combining so we have a rush on that and now after harvest we have like
00:15:20.180 So it'll probably be about a two-week lull where we'll be kind of looking for something to do.
00:15:24.000 What we usually do is get our maintenance done.
00:15:25.840 So there's a lot of fixing we need to do and then the yard work.
00:15:28.300 And, you know, I've got to mow all the grass before the snow sets in.
00:15:31.360 I wrote it till the tree lines so you can fix all that up.
00:15:34.440 And so that's what I'm going to focus on for the next little while.
00:15:37.420 Yeah, good.
00:15:38.480 Like you said, you had a busy, busy, busy summer.
00:15:41.200 So you're probably ready for a little bit of a lull.
00:15:44.280 Yeah.
00:15:44.860 Your family's happy to have you at home.
00:15:47.260 Just nice to catch your breath.
00:15:48.400 Yes, it has been.
00:15:49.760 it's been busy so and then we're here too well like i said my daughter duane's working with my
00:15:55.920 daughter and they're doing birds for all the hunters that come so every day almost there's
00:16:00.000 like two loads of birds that come in here that they have to clean and get ready and you know
00:16:03.920 package up and freeze so it's quite quite the system and of course if when they're out doing
00:16:09.280 that i'm inside or outside chasing the kids around so it's been uh the last three weeks of my house
00:16:14.400 rest i've worked harder i think than i have for the whole thing but it's but it's been fun and
00:16:18.480 And it's really great to be out here.
00:16:21.900 Well, you know, I had to laugh.
00:16:23.020 I was thinking, you know, that last hearing that I had where I was trying to get that variation order.
00:16:27.440 And the judge felt that if I was granted permission to travel internationally, that it would make my sentence less denunciatory.
00:16:37.900 And I'm kind of laughing like denunciatory.
00:16:40.600 Like, go ahead and denounce me, Judge Perkins McVeigh.
00:16:44.100 Like, I've made lemonade out of lemons.
00:16:46.620 i've got to spend all this time with my family and my grandsons and my daughters and you know
00:16:52.620 now i'm out here and it's just every day is just a gift it's beautiful i get to watch the sun come
00:16:58.140 up and so it's denunciatory which is kind of a you know like what's good for one isn't good for the
00:17:06.780 other obviously because she granted me able you know work permission to cross the border and i've
00:17:11.340 been crossing the border for the last year under house arrest maybe i'm the only canadian that's
00:17:16.380 ever had that exemption in place i honestly probably think i am you know to be under 24
00:17:22.380 hour house arrest and actually leave the country and i'm thankful for that i was able to do my job
00:17:26.780 and yeah continue on with the way it was so you know i'm i don't take that for granted i was given
00:17:32.220 an opportunity there to keep crossing the border but for you you know maybe the difference being
00:17:37.740 you know i was doing that before yeah i was just gonna say like granted you know you had that
00:17:43.260 already and and uh of course you know when we when i first started with rebel uh we mocked it
00:17:49.580 we mocked it a little bit which maybe we shouldn't have done but i mean like you and i always say
00:17:53.820 on the show you know we mock what is mock worthy and uh the whole this whole thing has been mock
00:17:57.980 worthy so oh can we talk about that like my gosh 60 days in the courtroom and the actor you know
00:18:05.260 i equivalent it to and i know this is probably going to come back on me but but like toddler
00:18:09.500 incidents you know where one toddler's yelling at the at mummy because the other toddler did
00:18:14.380 something that he didn't think was proper it was basically the crown prosecutor throughout
00:18:19.020 the course of our trial was it not did you feel that way it is well i mean it's just so over the
00:18:24.140 top and and uh yeah i'm sure they're gonna watch this and maybe we'll go to jail now when they get
00:18:29.500 to our appeals but i mean who cares it's just but this is ottawa it's not just the the court system
00:18:35.100 in ottawa it's everything there i mean you go to the capital city expecting that all the
00:18:40.440 institutions and everything there and the organizations are going to be like top notch
00:18:44.700 like you know things that the rest of canada should be modeling their own law enforcement
00:18:49.540 their own court system their own municipal politics or whatever um and it's it's all a 0.89
00:18:57.700 shitshow like there is not one single organization in ottawa ontario the capital of canada that isn't 0.98
00:19:05.440 a complete inept and incompetent gong show and i'm looking at you ottawa police like yeah i mean 0.97
00:19:12.680 if we went with with a palestinian flag or a pride flag or something like that our rights 0.99
00:19:19.540 would have been different we could have got away with whatever the hell we wanted to it seems like
00:19:23.500 we've watched in the last four years some of the protesting in this country have you know
00:19:28.900 violent activities to it chanted death to canada death to the you know all this sort of stuff
00:19:34.060 have smoke bombs thrown into christian churches bridges blocked streets blocked um traffic
00:19:40.140 impeded and law enforcement roughed up and but that's okay if you write a letter yes
00:19:47.620 don't but don't forget i mean we were accused of uh defacing the terry fox statue which um
00:19:57.860 somebody put a canadian flag on its back and put a sign in his hands that said mandate freedom
00:20:03.300 we were we were desecrating that according to the news but then a few weeks later a year later
00:20:08.900 whenever the pro-palestine things started you know they had him draped in this palestine flag with a
00:20:15.300 cafe or whatever those things are called and and i've seen the lbgtq plus community as well
00:20:20.180 draped in a rainbow flag so i mean it's only desecration if it's a canadian flag i guess
00:20:27.620 i guess like which is ironic since it's terry fox right canadian here yeah nobody yeah it is
00:20:36.020 and i just i think diana you're so right i mean ottawa we should be able to go to ottawa and you
00:20:40.820 know it should be like the peak the goal posts for every place else in canada being what it is but
00:20:48.420 that certainly is not is there just something with the food not a while we've spent so much
00:20:53.940 time there in the last world you know when we go across the street and we eat a meal in between
00:20:57.860 court you know lunch times it feels like the food just sits in your stomach and doesn't digest like
00:21:03.700 you just feel bloated and full after a meal in ottawa and when i come back to the prairies here
00:21:09.620 the food feels like it's better quality is it do you ever notice that
00:21:14.340 no i didn't actually notice that but i only went to a few places because i mean i don't want to
00:21:19.380 there's some places in ottawa that i'm sure would spit on my burger if they knew it was me so well
00:21:24.980 look at what happened to you when you and uh sierra went out there this was before this was when our
00:21:29.860 no contact order was still in place and you guys went for lunch or lunch or dinner and i mean the
00:21:35.140 The waiter kept going by you and ignored you and ignored you and ignored you because he knew who you were.
00:21:40.140 I can talk about that now.
00:21:42.440 So my daughter, Sierra, and I were in Ottawa.
00:21:46.120 The guy was, you might have to help me out, anybody from Ottawa in the chat group.
00:21:49.680 It was something cactus, and it was down in Byward Market.
00:21:53.500 Sierra and I were walking around Byward Market.
00:21:55.300 We were supporting the local community.
00:21:56.680 We got some of the little pastry French cookies that Sierra loves so much,
00:22:01.980 and we just walked around and enjoyed ourselves.
00:22:04.340 we went into this little cactus cut restaurant or something like that right on the corner right
00:22:08.800 across from the from the food court there and i i know what what feeling i know what that feeling 1.00
00:22:15.800 feels like now the waiter was probably the most arrogant son of a bitch you've ever seen in your 0.99
00:22:20.100 life he walked by us they sat us there for 20 minutes half hour they kept walking by and they 0.99
00:22:24.960 would sticker at us as we walked by and sir is like let's get out of here this is uncomfortable
00:22:29.240 and i'm like no we're gonna sit here so i waited for the man is there a problem here i made them
00:22:35.640 service i didn't get much i made them serve us just so we could pay the bill and leave
00:22:42.040 yeah i can't remember what the thing do we see it in the comments yet yeah the blue
00:22:45.720 blue cactus yeah yeah oh teresa would know yeah ignorance there we go manager like and you can
00:22:52.680 see a couple of the waitresses were were more than willing to serve us but that manager that guy you 0.98
00:22:58.360 know he was a dick so and i felt uh that was the first time i really felt depressed like what the 0.96
00:23:04.600 hell did i do to you like honestly what did i do to you or did you watch legacy media and believe 0.98
00:23:09.560 what everybody else thinks it is because i didn't go there to hinder the citizens of ottawa like
00:23:14.360 this little prick figure so but yeah exactly but i mean that but that's the mainstream media
00:23:19.800 and you know um i want to talk about this really quickly because i don't i don't have a copy of it
00:23:25.160 um brought up but there was a there was a national post article that came out a couple days ago by
00:23:31.640 i think his name is ron brackenbridge brackenbridge roy rant i don't know anyways uh he's a columnist
00:23:37.880 for the national post and he had this headline on it um with mitch sylvester's with mitch sylvester's
00:23:45.000 photo and i can't remember the headline but it was obviously about about alberta independence
00:23:50.760 and it was to the effect of they're they're going to give away alberta oil royalties to the night to
00:23:57.160 the united states in exchange for recognition or anyways it was something like that and i thought
00:24:02.360 you know pardon my language but i thought you son of a this is how people get
00:24:06.440 hurt this is a prime example of the mainstream media putting a target on somebody's back
00:24:12.120 you know there was lots of little meetings that took place and none of it was a secret
00:24:17.320 none of it was undercover but because the independence movement in alberta is now wrapping
00:24:21.480 up ramping up and getting a lot of attention i mean it's just like freedom convoy all over again
00:24:26.440 we're seeing all these fear tactics all this fear mongering they're going to give away alberta's
00:24:32.040 royalties like and then they started talking about all these meetings like that was breaking news i
00:24:36.920 mean that was over a year ago and none of it was hidden from the public but now they want to
00:24:41.880 repackage it and just make it sound like uh you know these guys are terrible but they used mitch
00:24:47.880 sylvester's picture and i thought thank you tasha where whatever we're paying you we're going to
00:24:52.680 double it exactly alberta separatist leaders are the movement's greatest liability they want to
00:24:57.720 hand over oil royalties to the americans well none of that is true but this is what the mainstream
00:25:03.800 media does in doing something like that is they're putting a target on somebody's back
00:25:08.600 you know and it's it's sickening and they don't give a that's the thing they don't care i mean
00:25:13.560 they just need clicks likes and subscriptions to their newspaper propaganda but it's terrible
00:25:19.240 it's just absolutely disgusting to see well it's project fear from like brexit it's project fear
00:25:24.280 starting all over again there's less than two weeks now to the referendum and you know you're
00:25:28.520 going to see all this rhetoric um start and it was really interesting and congratulations by the way
00:25:34.120 to quebec vive la liberty mon ami um they just uh obliterated uh the i can't remember what they
00:25:43.640 were called um but anyways the previous ruling party they got zero seats they went from a
00:25:47.960 majority government to zero seats and the party quebecois uh have now formed government so and
00:25:53.960 i mean these guys mean business so i'm super excited and you know i posted that photo that
00:25:59.720 we had of jerome o sullivan i think his last name is um the quebec flag and the alberta flag and
00:26:06.200 that was taken you know within a day or so of us arriving in in uh in ontario and i just you know
00:26:13.720 i remember that early early it was just such a profound moment and after my experience with
00:26:19.720 the freedom convoy as you know i you know took french lessons and uh i just fell in love with
00:26:24.840 Quebec I lived there for two months during the first part of our trial and I just thought you
00:26:29.640 know we have so much in common um there's there's I would say Quebec is more hardcore conservative
00:26:35.400 than even Alberta in some some parts it's just the politicians aren't and so uh congratulations
00:26:41.160 to them I'm really excited to see what this new government's going to do in Quebec and I think
00:26:45.400 it's going to also help um establish a great relationship with the province of Alberta and
00:26:51.080 i think that um you know it's going to give the independence movement a little bit of momentum
00:26:55.720 sorry i'm going to count do you see do you see the double standard that we talk about yes they're
00:27:01.000 like where is the hatred to borrow towards quebec and they possibly could be having a referendum to
00:27:05.560 stay in canada but you don't see the the amount of negativity directed towards quebec like you do 0.54
00:27:11.560 they're sovereign tests they're sovereign tests dirty separatists oh you know i watched i watched
00:27:19.800 the x a little bit and i gotta tell you x is probably one of the most vile social media apps 0.53
00:27:24.680 that i'm associated with and i find i use it just for basically trolling the left i do posts on x
00:27:29.960 just to just to get under somebody's skin i do that on a few um but some of the stuff on there
00:27:35.880 the misinformation i must be on the left side of the algorithm right now on x because i see some 0.95
00:27:40.200 horrible like danielle smith going you know like in in a in a prison outfit behind jail what did 0.99
00:27:46.040 danielle smith do to hurt your feelings she is literally one of the best leaders in this country
00:27:51.080 right now we need more danielle smiths across this country yeah we do but you see the problem
00:27:57.640 is is that most of uh well there was a question somebody had put in there oh yes thank you the
00:28:02.120 coalition avenue quebec thank you thank you oh kasha do not block this prick bob roberts is
00:28:09.240 obsessed with tamara and myself this guy oh welcome to the show bob i hope we live bread
00:28:14.920 free in that smile little that small little membrane in between the guy's ears 0.96
00:28:19.960 he's a coward welcome to house arrest bob i hope you enjoy the show 0.77
00:28:24.120 sweetheart head on over to bob's profile and tell him what you think of him everyone 0.98
00:28:30.040 give him a like and a sub give him a like and a subscribe
00:28:33.240 what was i saying now um i don't remember but
00:28:45.400 separatists independence so yes exactly exactly i saw we got somebody in here from florida that's
00:28:51.640 amazing thank you nox sherman thank you for joining us from florida that's pretty cool
00:28:56.680 i guess i should i forgot to mention like we were supposed to have carrie sakamoto and eva 0.87
00:29:00.760 were going to come on tonight to give us you know just an update after um her court decision the 1.00
00:29:06.520 ruling that came down from justice dealt she had her application for to certify her proposed class
00:29:14.280 action which um was dismissed and denied unfortunately but um so we'd anyway we're
00:29:19.640 gonna have carrie come on to give us an update but unfortunately she had something come up at
00:29:23.160 the last minute this evening and she just couldn't make it so so we're gonna do that another time but
00:29:27.880 uh so yeah i mean if you guys have anything any questions in the chat i mean really um we wanted
00:29:33.960 to just sort of since they couldn't come on we were just sort of going to sort of do this show
00:29:37.480 as a bit of a celebration you know that and that we've crossed another milestone and now we just
00:29:41.720 have some curfew to do so um yeah but we will definitely get them on uh get them back on in
00:29:47.640 the future when we can camilla i i don't want to post a comment because i don't want i don't
00:29:52.920 want anything of fight but i don't think daniel turned on anybody daniel smith is the leader of
00:29:57.480 of a province right now she represents everybody so it's her job to listen to both sides however
00:30:03.680 many sides of the book they are she's trying her best to navigate through this no matter what she
00:30:08.600 does right now she's going to be criticized for whether it's a good thing or a bad thing
00:30:12.720 and i think she's in probably one of the most difficult spots ever she's trying to allow people
00:30:17.500 to have a voice right now but still cater to the other people in the province who you know are
00:30:24.360 wanting canada i guess so i i don't fault diane i don't think she's turned on anybody i don't mean
00:30:30.180 to go against you in a negative light there but i just want people to see the full side of it a
00:30:34.600 politician's job is to cater to society in a whole but yet also it's a thankless job and people are
00:30:41.940 going to criticize them more than they're going to praise them when i think danielle smith has
00:30:45.840 done a lot of positives in this country she has to appeal to ottawa somewhere because a lot of
00:30:50.420 the funding comes from ottawa i remember when it comes to our tax dollars go right to ottawa they
00:30:55.220 divvy those tax dollars back to the provinces so it's a delicate situation and i think honestly i
00:31:00.940 i'm a huge supporter danielle smith and i'll say that again i think we need more danielle smiths
00:31:05.560 in this country has anybody seen david i will say i will say as far as danielle smith goes you know
00:31:11.840 i i really like her too she obviously never ran on a platform of independence so i think like you
00:31:16.980 said she is between a rock and a hard spot but I'll tell you pardon me I was very disappointed 0.52
00:31:23.240 in her when I saw her politicking I mean I think she's much better when she's just herself I mean
00:31:28.260 she's always politicking to a certain extent but I think that's what's wrong with politicians is
00:31:32.580 they politic too much anyways um as far as premiers go I think you know she's a pretty
00:31:37.520 straight shooter just like Scott Moe and there's some things that I really don't like about Scott
00:31:41.140 Moe either but there is some things I like about him but my first big disappointment from Danielle
00:31:45.860 smith was really when after the sturgeon lake crea nation filed that injunction to have the uh
00:31:51.140 the signatures from the the campersers there um for the petition for the referendum right
00:31:59.460 and she went on and did made a statement about it and you know she sat there at her desk with
00:32:05.460 her hands folded in front of her she didn't move a muscle she sat there it looked like a stepford 1.00
00:32:11.540 wife and while i didn't you know she was giving an update on you know how they were going to 1.00
00:32:16.100 proceed obviously the province had to push back against that too that whole thing because you
00:32:20.340 can't have you know less than one percent of your province um running your province that's not a
00:32:25.300 democracy you can't have that happening calling the shots anyways um but it was when she sat there
00:32:31.380 like completely motionless like a stepford wife and then said into the camera that canada was
00:32:36.260 doing great and getting stronger every day and i was you know she went into that whole spiel and
00:32:42.260 that's when i did get a little bit irritated because i thought you know
00:32:45.380 people know that that's not true like i wish they would just quit lying to us
00:32:50.420 because we have eyes we have ears god knows we have wallets and some of us have bank accounts
00:32:56.660 you know uh frozen or unfrozen but um yeah i mean everybody knows that that's not true so
00:33:04.100 So when I hear politicians get up and talk about Canada's this and Canada's getting stronger every day, like it's not.
00:33:10.060 And anyone with a functioning set of eyeballs and a wallet knows that it's not doing good right now.
00:33:19.440 Oh, we are. We are literally we're in a technical recession right now.
00:33:23.220 See how they changed the terminology on that one just to suit their purposes.
00:33:27.340 I'm seeing right now with the cost of fuel bill, I think two weeks ago, my fuel bill was $19,500 for one week.
00:33:33.900 for the trucks that were on the road and then in the last week um looking through my invoices
00:33:39.500 here just the other day well that was 10 740 for a half a week and this one is yeah i don't know
00:33:52.620 the total on that where the hell am i total i looked the other day it was 24 and a half thousand
00:33:56.300 dollars but where did that one go it was here 24 and a half wow carol question for tamara how do
00:34:09.180 you keep so positive um copious amounts of drugs no i'm just kidding just kidding
00:34:15.740 uh you see this thing yeah that's right lots of resistance coffee um i don't know you know i
00:34:25.840 i'm just i don't think i'm i mean of course i get frustrated and i have my days and lord knows
00:34:30.800 chris barber and tasha can both tell you that i can swear like a trucker sometimes but
00:34:34.520 um for the most part i just i'm just not an unhappy person and and i think um and i'm stubborn so i
00:34:42.220 have to say that that is their ultimate goal here is to try and break us and demoralize us and leave
00:34:48.160 us beaten and bruised and afraid to leave our doors. And I just refuse to let that happen. I
00:34:53.260 just refuse to let them do that. And I, you know, I promised a lot of cops, actually, I had at least
00:34:58.480 three police officers or court officials that would look at me through my whole process of
00:35:03.580 getting arrested or being in jail. And they'd say, don't stop fighting and stay strong. And I'll
00:35:08.680 never forget when I was handed off on that breach from the medicine hat crew to the Calgary crew
00:35:14.400 when I was arrested and we went to Bassano that's where the switch off was before they flew me back
00:35:18.760 to Ottawa and you know that officer as we were walking back to the car he said don't let them
00:35:24.260 break you and I said don't worry sir I won't I got this and you know what God's got my back and
00:35:28.760 he's got your back too I think he's had our backs all along and I think on it like I've said so many
00:35:35.500 times people might think it's crazy but i i feel totally blessed i mean like i said you've got to
00:35:40.460 make lemonade out of lemons and i'm not going to say that i didn't enjoy this whole year at home
00:35:44.620 with my family and you know getting to just be a grandparent and um yeah you know i've had there's
00:35:51.580 a lot there's lots of things to be thankful for and as you know you know we do a show once a month
00:35:57.100 called no one gets left behind and that's where we profile vaccine injury stories and i mean i i'm
00:36:01.580 not going to complain i can't complain about my life after listening to these guys's stories you
00:36:06.460 know this is over for well i mean it's going to take a long long time but we're eventually
00:36:10.860 hopefully going to get past it and a lot of these people you know are going to have these injuries
00:36:14.860 for the rest of their life so um we have to always i think we have to always look on the bright side
00:36:20.380 and try to find the good in all things and i think we do that i think we do that very well chris
00:36:27.240 I think we do that.
00:36:28.480 What do they say?
00:36:28.980 The cream rises to the top, right?
00:36:31.440 I guess so.
00:36:32.980 I don't know about that.
00:36:36.120 You know, I see it every day when I'm out trucking in Big Red, too.
00:36:39.200 I was cruising on the highway, and a beautiful Ford pickup passed me the other day by Tompkins,
00:36:44.460 and I noticed Ontario Plates on the back of it.
00:36:47.400 And, you know, they kind of did their old double take as they went by,
00:36:50.620 and I thought, well, Ontario Plates, it's either going to be a supporter or a hater.
00:36:53.840 and sure enough, I watched the speed of the vehicle slow down
00:36:57.020 and then the window came down and I'm thinking,
00:36:59.220 well, it's either going to be, you know, a finger or a camera
00:37:02.160 and it was a camera and they waved away
00:37:05.880 and then I got a message from the lady a little while after that
00:37:09.040 just saying, I can't believe we saw Big Red and safe travels
00:37:11.760 and I can't pull over for everybody like that.
00:37:14.380 Obviously, I'm on a clock with a logbook and I'm working two days
00:37:17.300 but, you know, it's everywhere I go, I get shout outs on the CB radio
00:37:22.100 or the fm radio and every time i stop the truck somewhere somebody's coming up to say hi and tell
00:37:27.140 me a story or so i see it out there there's far more positive and there's far more support
00:37:33.700 you know when we're off all this stuff i was thinking i you know you had your fundraising
00:37:37.860 campaigns through the course of the trial and i had obviously the community came together twice
00:37:42.100 for for me and swift current for you know travel expenses and the court costs and all the different
00:37:46.740 stuff but you know like next summer next spring when we're off of all this stuff why don't we
00:37:52.100 house an event where people just show up and we we we support them like let's get a put a get a
00:38:00.180 get the hall or something and just say we'll have a live event and yeah celebrate just a party
00:38:08.420 just a party no donations no nothing just we can't get arrested we can't cause any problems
00:38:14.820 get arrested next spring i want to do that after april whether it's an outdoor event or something
00:38:22.580 like that let's have a feeling and just say and danny out here thomas o'connor would be great to
00:38:28.260 have him come down like yeah i think that would be i think that would be a good time well i mean i
00:38:33.620 think one of the things that we always wanted to do you know right after was like take some of the
00:38:37.700 road captains and and just to go on a thank you tour across canada and just be like wow you know
00:38:43.860 like you guys i mean of course we talked about that very early on we weren't thinking that it
00:38:48.900 was going to be you know five years plus that this was going to be going on but um but i mean canada
00:38:55.860 deserves it i mean like i said the freedom convoy was was great and there was you know different
00:39:01.140 people that had different jobs and organizing things but i mean it was only a success because
00:39:06.260 canada came together it was only a success because you know canadians just were waiting for that one
00:39:13.460 push everybody not everybody but a good portion of the population knew that what was happening
00:39:18.500 wasn't right but nobody knew what to do because we couldn't even talk about it publicly chris i
00:39:22.980 remember before i talked to you before i called you like a week before i called you
00:39:28.100 my friend cindy took me out to this meeting and this is during covid so you know you had
00:39:32.340 to meet somewhere park your vehicle um leave your cell phones or you know take them out put
00:39:38.340 them in a box lock them up and then we had this meeting like there was these secret meetings
00:39:42.020 happening so i think there was i think there was lots of things like that happening across canada
00:39:47.780 with lots of people trying to think of you know a way to push back or get out of it or um and it
00:39:53.220 just happened that i mean i mean uh you you were the spark that lit the fire it wasn't me it was
00:40:00.980 actually you were the spark that lit the fire that video that video that you know that video that i
00:40:06.180 did in uh that starts off our podcast there where i'm saying like we need to stop this that was
00:40:12.020 jamestown north dakota i loaded a grain i remember this specifically i loaded a grain cart in shell
00:40:16.800 rock iowa and i made it to jamestown north dakota that night and i went into the applebee's
00:40:22.020 restaurant and i didn't have to show a passport i didn't have to wear a mask there was people
00:40:26.280 sitting at tables living their life normally and then i knew the next day when i got to the border
00:40:30.560 that i would have to show an app on my phone to get back into my country and i had to show a
00:40:35.900 covid vaccine passport that was part of the app the arrive scan app um and then i would have to
00:40:41.460 return to showing the card to eat in restaurants and wearing a mask and the rest oh but there was
00:40:46.620 a chance we were going to take the mandates off and let everybody have their freedom again they've
00:40:50.540 been saying that for two years meanwhile you know in saskatchewan we had i call them health nazis 0.84
00:40:56.420 there was ladies with saskatchewan party running around undercover and one of her name was karen 1.00
00:41:02.760 how fitting hey she would go into restaurants on cover and watch for people not to ask for a 0.99
00:41:08.080 covid vaccine passport how dare you do that or somebody wear their mask when they walk this was
00:41:13.860 remnant of 1930s germany i don't care how many people want to question me when i say that it was
00:41:19.740 it wasn't like it's we were there but we don't they weaponized the karens they literally weaponized
00:41:27.240 the karens and made all the betas feel like they were alphas for a change that's really what
00:41:32.200 happened through covid and i mean it's just a yeah exactly yeah a snitch line yeah that's right
00:41:38.880 and yeah yeah they're gonna do the same follow the arrows in the grocery store a little harder
00:41:44.700 hell i think some people follow the grocery store arrows a little bit too much it warped your
00:41:48.940 noggins like not anybody that's watched maybe bob roberts that that's just the only one
00:41:54.320 he's been pretty quiet maybe he is enjoying the show maybe we'll turn him into a fad chris you
00:42:01.140 know you never know they always keep coming back so speaking of that how are you how are you watching
00:42:07.860 what's happening in france right now wow unless it was raining yesterday so that nobody was out
00:42:14.180 like come on guys put your rain jackets oh my god a little rain yeah like minus 30 30 weather
00:42:22.660 one of my one of my special farming buddies uh in in high school after high school buddies
00:42:27.300 darren bowman was over through in paris working and on his way home so he thought he'd go check
00:42:31.540 the protests out and he's like it's raining and there's nobody out here i'm disappointed
00:42:35.700 wow deep sea farmer you know one thing that i don't understand about european politics like
00:42:41.220 hasn't emmanuel macron resigned like five times he's at least resigned two times i think he's
00:42:50.500 resigned three times i like i don't understand how these guys just keep resigning they they
00:42:56.660 haven't had elections that i'm aware of like he hasn't been voted back in like i just don't
00:43:00.820 understand it like i mean it would be like our prime minister you know resigning and then going
00:43:05.300 back to whatever and then resigning again like i don't understand how that works um maybe he just
00:43:10.900 changed his mind but i don't know how that works i think right now our governments whether you're
00:43:15.780 in the uk or canada i was thinking about this the other day i'm like they could literally call for
00:43:21.460 you know unaliving the first born in your family and there would be people in this country that
00:43:25.700 would say oh yeah i should do that like that's how indoctrinated and conditioned canadian and
00:43:31.700 even european people are right now the government controls the messaging and they control the
00:43:35.860 narrative and people are so sheep-like in their nature it's scary i think can be and you know
00:43:44.420 i think it's important to understand it and i get like you two a lot like i mean there's trolls out
00:43:49.140 there and there's people that are really horrible and angry and hate our guts more than anything and
00:43:55.700 I just try to remind myself that these guys are victims of propaganda.
00:43:59.520 And let's not forget our own military conducted psychological operations
00:44:03.960 against us.
00:44:05.760 And they probably still are.
00:44:08.120 I mean, Canada is just a giant psyop at this point.
00:44:11.380 But, you know, they took, they scared a large population of people.
00:44:16.580 And when you're scared and afraid and you feel confused because they could
00:44:21.420 create this chaos, you know,
00:44:22.940 you're just going to glob onto anything that you perceive a leader is telling you to do and if it's
00:44:28.320 to hate chris and tamara then that's then they're just going to hate us but if it's to hate donald
00:44:32.300 trump then um and so i think a lot of them are victims of propaganda but i also think um uh i
00:44:40.120 also firmly believe that there's neurological psychological problems that has happened as a
00:44:45.200 result of some of these shots i'm convinced of it i mean i never knew canadians could be so hateful
00:44:52.240 as what we've seen in the last few years well and even not just our experience but even like during
00:44:56.960 covet you know like i just i didn't grow up where people were like that really you would run across
00:45:02.320 the odd one but it was you know they were the exception and not the rule and um but i mean that
00:45:08.560 said too like we've said before like the internet isn't real life honestly most of them aren't even
00:45:14.400 real people but and i was gonna say before even when you were talking about driving down the
00:45:19.040 the highway like i wish that you guys you know could talk to chris barber on the phone one day
00:45:23.600 when he's trucking because he literally is his cb is going off every few minutes somebody's passing
00:45:29.220 him hey is that big red or i mean i've been talking to him on the phone when he's been pulled
00:45:34.140 over by the dot and then the officer came over and um said some very unkind things about justin
00:45:40.700 trudeau and he's like what you did like police officers have pulled you over to tell you that
00:45:46.100 stuff like so you know that's real life that's real life it's all support you know I looked out
00:45:52.560 my window of the truck I was sleeping in Lethbridge Alberta the other night and I looked out the truck
00:45:56.280 and and there's a vehicle sitting like right on the middle of the street just just recording me
00:46:00.420 and I thought I just jumped out of the seat to see what was going on and I went oh boy I'm like
00:46:04.580 in my underwear in the bunk of the truck and and uh it's out there for quite a while and then of
00:46:09.540 course the next morning I woke up and I found the video somebody seen me parked there and was so
00:46:12.900 excited to see big red and they just did a little video with some song behind it i thought it was
00:46:17.080 pretty cool but when i first jumped up i'm like that could either be a hater or a liker i'm not
00:46:22.220 sure am i gonna wake up to you know vandalized truck in the morning i sleep pretty sound in that
00:46:27.160 truck though so yeah i don't know you know i look at some of the you know i say this is a joke
00:46:33.140 sometimes when i feel frisky or spicy i will go to the message request bin on any social media app
00:46:38.200 And the messages that people take the time out of their day to send to a perfect stranger, you know, wishing them death or hate.
00:46:45.660 It blows me.
00:46:46.660 Like, my mother and father didn't raise me to be like that.
00:46:49.320 If I see something on the Internet that I don't like, I simply move along.
00:46:53.420 I don't focus on it and tell people they need to die.
00:46:57.320 Could you imagine taking the time out of your date, like you just said, to message a total stranger and spew some hateful and foul things?
00:47:05.080 Like we said, I mean, I just keep scrolling.
00:47:07.080 and the funniest part for me is that you know when i have these bots on x or whatever people
00:47:12.840 that hate my guts and say mean things i just mute them and i think it's hilarious because i'll see
00:47:17.000 other people commenting but i don't ever see their stuff so they're i mean go ahead and thank you
00:47:21.800 that you're hurting my feelings dude but i am not seeing anything that you're even saying about me so
00:47:26.280 keep screaming to yourself i love the fact that tamara will do a post on twitter and then i'll
00:47:31.680 see the post and she'll tag me in it then i'll go into the comment section right away looking for 1.00
00:47:35.520 that fight and uh tamara just mutes him he doesn't block them mutes him and doesn't
00:47:41.920 peter mccullough what his research yes that's right yeah i actually have reached out to him
00:47:49.040 uh kelly to come on the show to ask if he'd come on the show and so i'm going to reach out to him
00:47:54.240 again um because do i have i would love to have him on i have his email but i don't have his phone
00:48:02.240 number i don't know i might i have so many phone numbers in here you know it's all it's really cool
00:48:08.480 when you're just driving on the highway and you'll get a text message from uh theo flurry or or uh
00:48:16.480 like other people that we've met in the last name redmond david redmond yeah i got an email
00:48:22.240 from david redmond today congratulating me of course i've sat in on a couple meetings with him
00:48:26.080 and evo because we have some projects that we're working on but i'm like it was so funny because um
00:48:32.240 I got a hold of our friend Drew from B4F when I was going to go on this meeting because I'm like, David Redman, like, I don't know what to call him.
00:48:40.000 Do I call him like retired lieutenant colonel? I think I can't remember. I'm so sorry.
00:48:46.580 That's so disrespectful, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
00:48:50.000 Like I was I was literally nervous because and Drew's like, well, we just call him, sir.
00:48:55.820 And I'm like, OK, good point. So, of course, he's like the first meeting. He was like, I'm not having that.
00:49:01.340 it's david and anyway like i mean that totally blows me away that he even knows who i am
00:49:07.020 oh and i just want to say something here about diego diego our good friend diego is going to be
00:49:13.020 our very special guest on house arrest on october the 22nd um and i'm really excited to diego is
00:49:20.380 working on a lot of things and uh you know diego's been well i've met diego in ottawa um in the last
00:49:27.180 few days in the last couple days of uh before the takedown happened and um he reached out to me and
00:49:34.940 i i finally got a hold of me anyways and he came to the swiss hotel and we met and actually the
00:49:39.820 day that i was arrested he gave me a gift and um that i still have it was a little truck fruit
00:49:46.700 truck from columbia and a book called 1984 and of course i was arrested that day but as soon as i
00:49:55.420 i was so looking forward to reading 19 the book i was excited and so um once i got my canteen
00:50:01.100 straightened out in jail uh that was the first thing i ordered with my canteen money was 1984
00:50:06.140 and also diego the second time i was in jail i still can't believe i have to say that uh mailed
00:50:12.860 me a copy of the poem invictus and that is actually included in my book hold the line and
00:50:17.900 um i sat in my bunk and i wrote that poem out and i memorized it and i memorized it and there
00:50:24.540 was some scripture and some different things from the bible that i did the same but um uh
00:50:30.220 jaco's been a great friend um he's got a beautiful family and he really helped me you know through
00:50:36.860 through a lot of that period too so i'm really looking forward to having diego on and telling
00:50:41.660 his story and also finding out what he's going to be up to next so diego's in in uh he was in hollow
00:50:48.940 quebec right he was across when we first met him and he now lives in western canada and he's doing
00:50:54.140 amazing his family's just a gorgeous family yeah they are yeah they are absolutely so so we're
00:51:00.120 looking forward to doing that and then of course next week we have dr chris shoemaker coming on
00:51:04.120 which i'm really excited about i haven't had a chance to talk to him for quite some time but
00:51:07.300 he is uh another one of the doctors that stood up early and and uh was just completely vilified
00:51:14.240 and cancelled over it so um he's good guy so i'm looking forward to i'm looking forward to that
00:51:20.020 and yeah i'll keep trying to get a hold of dr mccullough and if you have a way to get a hold of
00:51:24.420 him chris by all means please i and the truckers i'd love to get like chob of easy to come on
00:51:32.100 uh whenever he's got time or i think we should have harold yonkers on or guy meister i mean
00:51:36.580 there's so many uh that we have if anybody knows of guy meister he is a card he drove the big mac
00:51:44.180 truck i have a picture on my phone i believe it is of me standing in front of guy's truck i should
00:51:50.420 send that in so yeah i've got a great one of me sitting in it actually during the freedom convoy
00:51:55.820 because we were walking back and of course everybody was signing it like wherever if you
00:51:58.940 opened his door like everyone was signing all over this old black mac like i don't even know
00:52:04.080 how that guy got that thing there honestly and then when we were in nova scotia he met us there
00:52:08.740 in that truck too i couldn't believe it literally we pulled into the parking lot this is guy meister
00:52:13.680 He had the truck parked across four EV parking stalls with his big grease wheel.
00:52:18.860 That's right. We got to Nova Scotia. That's right.
00:52:22.140 In an empty parking lot. The parking lot was totally empty,
00:52:25.740 but he just pulled in and parked and took up four EV parking stalls. Yeah.
00:52:30.040 He is an amazing man. I, you know, we've met so many people in the last number of years.
00:52:35.360 I'm just, I'm looking at my phone right now to see if I could find that photo of me in front of Guy's truck
00:52:39.460 in downtown ottawa because it was um i i remember looking at it and that is one of the first trucks
00:52:45.060 that i drove as a truck driver the first job i had was an old 74 old model mac and that's what
00:52:50.060 guy runs so yeah my dad had one too there it is uh my dad had an old i think at least a couple of
00:52:56.820 them can i turn that so people can see it no i can sort of see it yeah that's guy's truck
00:53:03.000 I'm older, model Mac.
00:53:06.340 Just a guy.
00:53:08.160 But that's what Convoy was.
00:53:09.800 It was just...
00:53:10.680 We weren't necessarily protesters.
00:53:13.520 We were just people that wanted to see change.
00:53:15.580 We didn't go to Ottawa with any ill intent.
00:53:19.120 You know, I really hope someday the government's held accountable for their actions when it comes to that.
00:53:23.500 Because it was on them to have a conversation with the people that were questioning their authority.
00:53:28.240 and speaking of that chris i don't know if you saw but uh the canadian constitution now i got
00:53:34.520 ladybugs in here too oh boy oops excuse me nature love camping anyways um uh the canadian
00:53:44.540 constitution foundation christine van jean guyan i can't i don't know how to pronounce her last
00:53:48.900 name anyways uh she was at the poc did a lot of stuff at the poec too but anyway she just
00:53:54.220 had tweeted out last week late last week that um she's they're anticipating the decision from the
00:54:00.620 Supreme Court on whether to grant the government leave to appeal uh could be coming before the end
00:54:06.740 of this month so that'll be really interesting to see um well that's gonna tell the tale if they
00:54:13.720 get denied I mean I don't know what happens to them um how they will be held accountable
00:54:19.460 if they aren't granted leave to appeal.
00:54:22.900 But I think if they are granted leave to appeal,
00:54:25.080 then I think the Supreme Court Chief Justice Dick Wagner
00:54:28.680 is just going to let him walk. 0.97
00:54:30.360 Dick. 0.96
00:54:31.620 I did see somebody in the comments section here a little while ago.
00:54:36.060 Christina Freeland wrote a book.
00:54:38.440 Did anybody else catch that?
00:54:40.020 That Christina Freeland wrote a book,
00:54:41.720 and it is all about criticizing the administration
00:54:44.220 and how demonizing more of the Trump thing.
00:54:47.000 i'm just seeing if i can find it by scrolling up my thing here i know it was
00:54:55.240 yeah i know who it was but it was camilla in there somewhere she
00:54:59.320 wrote it in there but i might have went too far and it's getting too late in her
00:55:03.080 yeah unreliable boyfriend she wrote a book called unreliable boyfriend 0.72
00:55:08.440 yeah isn't that ridiculous it is ridiculous i had to comment on there did you tell the story of how
00:55:14.200 you froze canadians bank accounts for peaceful i saw your comment it was great i commented i
00:55:19.880 commented with a photo of my book and recommended reading and then i also attached my great big long
00:55:24.520 thread with all of her handwritten notes and the bank executives and how they were wanting to shut
00:55:29.640 down our bank accounts i'm like you should probably give this to me too like i'd really like to see
00:55:33.400 that book come out yeah um douglas tamara what was the crown's reasoning to where you couldn't go to
00:55:38.360 washington they were i think they were afraid of what you might tell trump oh my gosh douglas you
00:55:43.080 You should see some of the things that I've read about that.
00:55:46.440 It wasn't necessarily just to go to Washington.
00:55:49.300 My boss just made like an off the cuff remark one day, like, hey, wouldn't it be great, you know, if we could get you into the White House press gallery and not you probably wouldn't be able to ask the question.
00:55:57.620 But, you know, how great for you to go in as part of your job and sit in the press gallery.
00:56:03.180 And so all of a sudden, the next thing I know, the mainstream media and everyone's all of a sudden reporting that I want to go to the United States to go on a cruise.
00:56:11.500 the cruise is actually a working cruise it's a rebel news cruise and to go meet 0.64
00:56:16.820 with Trump or go to the White House I mean this is this is it was ridiculous
00:56:20.740 but anyways Douglas she felt that that would be giving me far too much freedom
00:56:25.900 and it wouldn't be denunciatory enough so I stay home and hung up with my
00:56:30.860 grandkids instead. So take that. Exactly. I mean, it is crazy. And I know that they're trying to
00:56:46.660 punish us. And maybe we should be sitting here, Chris, pretending that we're really, you know,
00:56:52.220 suffering. And maybe that would make the crown feel better. But I'm not giving them that. They're
00:56:57.040 not getting that from me i spoke to somebody i spoke to somebody a little while ago it was a it
00:57:03.820 was about a couple months ago maybe something like that i was something happened in canada
00:57:07.520 and actually had me kind of down i was just like are we we're losing right now we're losing our
00:57:12.020 country right now do people not see this um and i just i was speaking to this person who used to be
00:57:17.160 an mp and is not now and and i said i'm just discouraged with with the direction of this
00:57:23.460 country just how lost people are in this country and how so many people are suffering but yet
00:57:28.000 our government doesn't care and uh and she said don't that's what they want they want you
00:57:34.960 discouraged they want you to give up they want you to go on with your day they want you to not be
00:57:39.400 vocal anymore do not do that and so i agree that's exactly what it is the worst thing we could do is
00:57:46.980 have our platforms and speak our minds and you know i might have my chance for me at least on
00:57:53.120 public like i said i'm not gonna lie there's lots of days i'm driving down that road and i'm like 0.97
00:57:57.520 cursing like a mofo because i'm just like screw you and screw this and screw that but i mean i 0.84
00:58:04.480 just do it there and but you know i still haven't had my uh my breakdown i'm just absolutely sure 0.97
00:58:11.200 someday i'm gonna have my breakdown and like ah what happened but but maybe i won't i don't know
00:58:18.240 like i said i just feel so grateful for all the things that i have and the people that we've met
00:58:22.880 and people in this chat and i mean we've just we've had lots of support and the support of our
00:58:28.080 families and you know i think we woke a lot of people up and even there's a lot of people that
00:58:33.440 don't agree with what we did but they've seen how the freedom convoy people have been you know um
00:58:38.320 suffered this lawfare and this persecution because that's literally what it is okay i mean
00:58:45.200 and you know we're still standing chris one of the one of the biggest things i think i've learned in
00:58:50.080 in the last four years is patience is to be patient with uh i'm not in control of the only
00:58:55.960 thing i'm in control of is my my emotions the way i act and i could be angry i could be bitter i
00:59:02.160 could be you know mean um i'm not i don't think i am i like to play with the trolls and that's my
00:59:07.560 only downfall when it comes to social media but i'm not bitter and there's elements of it every
00:59:12.440 now and then when i think about the stuff that we've you know what they've tried to do to us
00:59:15.840 big red is probably one of the things that still irks the hell out of me that they actually tried
00:59:21.560 to forfeit my livelihood and destroy me and for that i will i will not forget i'll forgive but
00:59:28.680 i will not forget and those yeah i'll just that was low that's that exposed them even more so
00:59:36.060 you know what if it's got to be us chris it's got to be us i wouldn't wish any of us on anybody else
00:59:40.780 but um if it's got to be us it's got to be us and people will continue to see uh what they're doing
00:59:46.940 and so you know all we can do is try to be good people and just keep pushing and i think we are
00:59:52.460 that's all we can do well we'll keep it to an hour tonight because uh yes working around in the shop
