00:00:40.780 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:47.260 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:50.420 Christ is king.
00:00:52.360 I've been negotiating.
00:00:53.280 I told them to do the deal.
00:00:54.440 They should have done the deal.
00:00:56.200 The cities have been blown to pieces.
00:00:58.140 They've lost a lot of people.
00:01:00.000 They should have done the deal.
00:01:01.420 I told them, do the deal.
00:01:03.540 So I don't know.
00:01:04.320 I'm not too much in a mood to negotiate.
00:01:06.360 President Trump is back in the United States this morning after leaving the G7 summit early
00:01:11.340 as tensions between Israel and Iran escalate.
00:01:14.620 Multiple reports say Donald Trump ordered the National Security Council to be ready in the
00:01:19.160 Situation Room when he landed.
00:01:20.860 He did not give a specific reason for leaving Western Canada, but pushed back on French President
00:01:26.540 Emmanuel Macron's suggestion that he was rushing home to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
00:01:32.320 Trump posted on Truth Social that the reason was, quote, much bigger than that.
00:01:36.820 He then told reporters aboard Air Force One, we are not looking for a ceasefire.
00:01:41.640 Before departing, he joined G7 leaders in a statement saying Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
00:01:47.040 Iranian state TV was live on air, the anchor sounding defiant, when suddenly Israel bombed the building.
00:01:55.300 According to a new report, President Trump opposed a recent Israeli plan to kill Iran's supreme leader.
00:02:06.240 What you're watching in real time is peace through strength and America first.
00:02:11.180 Our job is to be strong.
00:02:12.740 We are postured defensively in the region to be strong in pursuit of a peace deal.
00:02:19.240 And we certainly hope that's what happens here.
00:02:21.280 America first means we're going to defend American personnel and American interests.
00:02:25.920 This is going on because, President Trump says, there has been a breakdown in the negotiation process
00:02:31.960 between the U.S. and Iran, between those negotiators, some of which we are now told,
00:02:38.800 and President Trump himself alluded to this, were killed in some of those initial strikes by the Israelis on Friday.
00:02:45.280 Folks, you're on a razor's edge.
00:02:48.560 There are some people who are focused on the nuclear threat.
00:02:53.500 Mushroom clouds, massive destabilization, escalation in the region.
00:02:59.420 And there are others right now who are focused on what comes next in a regime change.
00:03:06.720 Think about it.
00:03:07.660 Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Ukraine.
00:03:12.120 What have those all led to?
00:03:13.560 Well, those have all led to massive demographic replacement in Europe, massive upheaval throughout the entire region.
00:03:22.120 In Afghanistan, for example, the Taliban are now back in charge of the entire country.
00:03:27.920 And they have our military equipment, $9 billion of which, that we left there after 20 years of blood and treasure.
00:03:36.540 And all the blood and treasure in Iraq.
00:03:38.340 And do I even need to go into what happened in Ukraine and continues to happen in Ukraine after the U.S. pushed for regime change in 2014?
00:03:55.820 These are serious times.
00:04:01.000 We don't want to see American boys coming home in caskets.
00:04:05.260 We don't want to see any more of these decade-long insurgencies and a civil war in Iran.
00:04:10.800 Who knows what would take power?
00:04:13.380 But you've got the globalists and the neocons running around Fox News and everyone else telling you this is the smartest thing in the world to do regime change right now.
00:04:20.580 Now, President Trump is right.
00:04:23.620 Focus on the nuclear threat only.
00:04:28.060 Regime change is something that would lead to the law of unintended consequences.
00:04:34.700 We have to remember something.
00:04:36.440 America's safety comes first.
00:04:40.280 And folks, we've got, and there are maps of this out there somewhere,
00:04:43.940 American troops in harm's way all across the Middle East and more to come as the USS Nimitz with 5,000 souls on it steams closer and closer to Iran's missiles.
00:04:58.200 We'll be right back, human events.
00:04:59.300 And to understand what America first truly means.
00:05:09.900 Welcome to the second American revolution.
00:05:16.140 All right, Jack, we're Soba Q.
00:05:17.500 We're back live, human events, daily, Real America's Voice, the Salem News Network, Salem Radio.
00:05:24.360 President Trump now convening.
00:05:26.200 We're told that he's currently convening the National Security Council in the Situation Room to discuss potential strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
00:05:34.600 We're going to be giving you the breaking updates on all of that as this hour continues.
00:05:39.960 Folks, do you ever notice how gold doesn't get much airtime until the system, of course, starts to shake?
00:05:45.480 Well, here's the big news.
00:05:47.200 Starting July 1st, Basil III global banking rules will classify gold as a Tier 1 asset, the same status as cash or U.S. treasuries.
00:05:55.060 That's a big deal.
00:05:56.200 That means central banks can now hold gold at full value and treat it as core capital.
00:06:00.300 They're not doing that for fun.
00:06:01.340 They're preparing for something.
00:06:03.200 If gold is good enough for banks and governments as a backstop, it should be good enough for your savings and your retirement.
00:06:08.560 And this may be the moment while we're all on razor's edge that we've been waiting for.
00:06:12.960 Gold can reach levels we've never seen before.
00:06:14.600 So whether you've got $5,000 or $5,000,000 to protect now is the time.
00:06:18.300 I've seen a lot of companies come and go, but there's one reason I partnered with Allegiance Gold.
00:06:22.780 I'm not just reading an ad here.
00:06:23.980 No, I'm actually a client.
00:06:25.720 No pressure.
00:06:26.520 They've got great pricing, top ratings in the industry.
00:06:29.240 Well, they make it simple to move part of your 401k, IRA, or savings into real physical gold and silver.
00:06:34.900 You may even qualify for up to $5,000 in free silver.
00:06:39.100 Call 844-577-POSO or visit ProtectWithPOSO.com.
00:06:43.440 That's 844-577-7676 or ProtectWithPOSO.com.
00:06:48.200 It's smart, secure, and simple.
00:06:49.940 Call 844-577-7676.
00:06:53.360 I want to bring on now the editor-in-chief of the National Pulse, Rahim Kassam.
00:06:59.080 Rahim, what are you hearing about this National Security Council meeting?
00:07:03.700 Is it ongoing?
00:07:04.860 Do you know if a decision has been made back or forth regarding this strike on Iran's nuclear facilities?
00:07:12.200 Yeah, Jack, thanks for having me.
00:07:14.160 I think the public deserves the truth about everything that's going on in Washington, D.C. at the moment.
00:07:21.980 And rather than a lot of what other people are doing out there, speculating,
00:07:26.680 I think it should be made clear to people that the people in government who are supposed to be out there making things clear to people about what's going on
00:07:36.860 are currently just not talking a lot, right?
00:07:38.880 And you would expect that at a time like this.
00:07:40.960 Critical decisions are being made.
00:07:43.380 People are under immense pressure, working very late hours.
00:07:46.380 And so, sorry, say it again.
00:07:52.600 No, go ahead.
00:07:53.360 You're fine.
00:07:54.480 Oh, sorry.
00:07:56.680 Yeah, and it's hard to know at any given moment what exactly, you know, the thought process is.
00:08:01.860 So you have to kind of play a game of, well, I hear it's not this, so then what about this?
00:08:08.780 And you're sort of constantly chasing little nuggets of information to create a bigger picture of the conversations taking place inside.
00:08:15.440 I've been doing that now for the last, I don't know, 48 hours, really talking to as many people as I can.
00:08:20.460 And as of last night, you know, the conversations that were being had were not, hey, are we going to enter the war in the next 24 hours?
00:08:29.300 But hey, are we going to let Israel use, you know, a bunker buster bomb to attack Iran's nuclear facilities?
00:08:37.980 Are we going to allow them to assassinate the Ayatollah as the next step up in this?
00:08:42.860 And as of last night and as of this morning, the latest information I was getting was that they are still pursuing diplomatic ends.
00:08:50.040 This is not a situation, as I hear it, that they are currently handing this over to the Pentagon and DOD.
00:08:56.940 No, the conversation remains at the State Department and White House levels.
00:09:00.920 And I expect it to do so for the for at least at least the next 12 hours.
00:09:06.400 And I just I want to throw up as you as you go through that, Rahim, we've got a map prepared of all of sort of the U.S. assets in the region, as well as the Iranian assets.
00:09:16.640 The Persian Gulf is a very small place, and I think a lot of people don't always realize that.
00:09:22.900 And so just as you as you go and break this down, I want people to realize what we're talking about.
00:09:27.700 And yes, we do currently have a lot of Americans that are within easily within range of Iran's response, whatever that retaliation may be.
00:09:38.260 And I just want people to be aware of that as more assets are now being brought into the region.
00:09:44.320 We're told the USS Nimitz, the carrier strike group.
00:09:47.400 And of course, these U.S. assets do certainly have the ability to defend themselves as well.
00:09:52.020 Rahim, please go ahead.
00:09:55.080 Yeah, look, Jack, somebody said to me last night that if this is a negotiating tactic or a bluff,
00:10:02.120 then it is one of the most expensive ways to do it possible.
00:10:05.620 Well, that may be true, but there's something that's even more costly at stake, and that's a full-blown war.
00:10:11.520 I was surprised when some data came out today from a snap poll conducted by a pollster that I highly recommend and highly rate,
00:10:20.600 the Democracy Institute, run by a friend of mine, actually, Patrick Basham.
00:10:24.960 And his numbers showed that a majority, a significant majority of Americans oppose a full-blown war, including ground troops with Iran.
00:10:37.020 But I was surprised by the number of people that said yes at the same time.
00:10:40.440 One in three, or just over one in three, 35 percent of all Americans using this data say that they would support such a thing.
00:10:47.800 I thought that number would be more of around 10 to 15 percent.
00:10:51.740 But it sort of shows you what we're up against as some people want to beat the drum for war over the next 24 hours.
00:11:00.980 We may be closer, in terms of public opinion at least, than some people might think.
00:11:07.100 And I'm not taking any glee in that.
00:11:09.700 I think that's appalling.
00:11:10.960 I think that is something that should be avoided at all costs.
00:11:13.180 But I don't want people to get reticent here and think that, you know, because President Trump's instincts are peaceful,
00:11:21.880 that that hasn't led to bad decisions being made in the past.
00:11:25.180 It has.
00:11:26.280 And we need to oppose it again.
00:11:27.680 And so, Rahim, we're seeing these these truths and that from President Trump.
00:11:34.920 And this, of course, play into, you know, sort of what you're saying, that that this ratcheting up,
00:11:40.040 we're seeing the U.S. air to air refuelers, the KC 135 is now headed from Europe over to the Middle East.
00:11:48.280 We're seeing the USS Nimitz carrier strike groups are providing various options in a strike like this.
00:11:54.540 People should expect to see, by the way, when you're talking about bunker busters,
00:11:57.940 that's not something that a fighter can shoot off itself.
00:12:00.640 You would need a B-2 bomber flying probably from Diego Garcia, which is in the southern Indian Ocean,
00:12:06.320 but certainly within range.
00:12:08.080 And then you would have fighters providing escort for those bombers,
00:12:12.080 which don't really have the ability to defend themselves.
00:12:14.600 The same idea, that's how the carrier strike groups work.
00:12:17.020 That's why an aircraft carrier is always traveling contingent with a couple of submarines,
00:12:21.380 cruisers, and those Arleigh Burke destroyers as well to provide an air screen,
00:12:26.660 because an aircraft carrier by itself is essentially a sitting duck.
00:12:30.000 It's just a floating airport.
00:12:32.200 But when the fighters go up, et cetera, et cetera, that's what provides the screen are the rest of those ships.
00:12:38.880 And so, Raheem, these truths, unconditional surrender,
00:12:42.920 implying that we know where the Ayatollah is, but we have not decided to kill him yet.
00:12:47.720 We control the skies over Iran, Tehran.
00:12:51.640 How should Americans looking at this, and Trump supporters looking at this,
00:12:55.400 read all of the things that they're seeing right now?
00:12:59.340 Yeah, look, I would be lying to you if I said that I felt totally secure enough
00:13:04.920 in President Trump's sort of peacenik creds
00:13:08.380 that I didn't think there was any chance of this escalating further.
00:13:11.340 The problem is this is what's still Washington, D.C. at the end of the day.
00:13:14.620 And while the swamp has been somewhat neutered, it's not been completely drained.
00:13:19.720 And that is a generational task I think most people recognize at this point.
00:13:25.260 You have to know that there are really, really awful voices in the president's ear
00:13:31.720 trying to push for full-blown war, right?
00:13:35.200 I'm not talking about just a couple of B2s at this point.
00:13:38.940 I mean, we're talking boots on the ground, regime change, democracy building,
00:13:43.080 all of that stuff.
00:13:44.460 And I say especially to the generation after us, Jack, I hear from people all the time,
00:13:51.140 young people all the time, about how they look up to you
00:13:53.820 and how they've followed you for so long.
00:13:56.660 And I have to tell your audience, especially of a younger age, this.
00:14:00.460 You know, Jack, you and I lived through those forever wars,
00:14:04.160 and they just ended, you know, about last year, in fact, or the year before,
00:14:09.480 and with a terrible whimper at the organization of Joe Biden.
00:14:15.500 There is nothing worse you could do for the next 20 years of your life
00:14:18.900 than support this drumbeat for war.
00:14:22.600 Nothing could derail the world more.
00:14:24.620 Nothing could derail your futures more
00:14:26.840 than letting malign actors drive you into another foreign incursion.
00:14:33.000 And so, Jack, I think...
00:14:33.960 We're coming up on a break.
00:14:35.220 Do you want to hang out?
00:14:36.660 Do you want to finish that on the other end?
00:14:37.880 I really do think people need to realize just what a disaster that would be.
00:14:42.380 We're coming up on a hard break.
00:14:43.660 Do you want to do it?
00:14:44.280 Can we hold you over?
00:14:45.180 Do you want to finish that on the other end?
00:14:47.680 Yeah, we can do it.
00:14:49.300 All right.
00:14:49.600 We're going to hold over Raheem Kassam, folks.
00:14:51.440 He's coming back.
00:14:52.200 A message to Gen Z, the generation that comes next.
00:14:55.560 We'll be right back.
00:14:55.960 Today, you know, they talk about influences.
00:15:03.700 These are influences.
00:15:05.620 And they're friends of mine.
00:15:07.960 Jack Pesovic.
00:15:09.440 Where's Jack?
00:15:10.420 Jack.
00:15:11.380 He's done a great job.
00:15:15.480 All right, Jack Pesovic.
00:15:16.600 We are back.
00:15:17.400 Live human events daily.
00:15:19.200 Real America's Voice, Salem Radio Network.
00:15:21.380 I want to go back to Raheem Kassam, the editor-in-chief of the National Pulse.
00:15:25.400 Raheem, you were, just before we cut before the last break, you were giving a message to sort of the generation that comes after us.
00:15:31.740 Gen Z, Gen Alpha.
00:15:34.020 My kids are Gen Alpha.
00:15:35.480 They watch pretty much every single thing that I do.
00:15:38.720 They watch very, very closely.
00:15:40.400 And to the generation that I've noticed in, you know, Raheem, something anecdotally, I just noticed my son got his yearbook.
00:15:47.100 He finished first grade.
00:15:49.100 And in the back of the yearbook, there's some photos from Halloween.
00:15:52.060 And the kids got to dress up.
00:15:53.520 And there were a group of kids who, it was four of them, and three of them dressed up as Secret Service agents.
00:16:00.320 And the fourth dressed up as Trump.
00:16:02.100 And they went to school, and they reenacted the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt.
00:16:08.540 And it just became this huge moment.
00:16:10.860 So the youth are watching.
00:16:13.820 They're watching all of this with rapt intention.
00:16:16.620 And how could you not, right?
00:16:18.220 But it is something that bears repeating, and it bears us, it's incumbent upon us to understand this,
00:16:25.240 that the generations that come after us, they're already here, and they're already watching all of this.
00:16:32.200 Yeah, they're already voting.
00:16:35.400 Look, I know that most of Gen Z perceives millennials to be pretty cringe at this point.
00:16:45.460 And there's lots and lots of things to agree.
00:16:48.260 I agree with them on in that regard.
00:16:51.580 But they have to listen to us on this one thing.
00:16:53.540 Because I think, you know, pretty much what happened in our youths, you know, was pretty cringe, right?
00:17:02.680 I mean, that's a mild way of putting it.
00:17:04.840 Because what it did in failing to effectively oppose 20 years of war somewhere, which, you know,
00:17:15.180 pretty much we received nothing in the grand scheme of things at the end of it all fall.
00:17:21.780 Net negative on everything.
00:17:23.540 The things that you have to consider, though, are not just like, okay, yeah, you know, war is a, you know, generally bad thing.
00:17:30.900 Duh.
00:17:31.860 But it's, okay, you're now going to get another migrant crisis.
00:17:35.340 You know, that is what happens next.
00:17:37.560 You get inundated with more refugees and asylum seekers.
00:17:41.860 You get, you know, another decade's worth of deficits being run and higher taxes.
00:17:48.620 You get higher gas prices and oil prices.
00:17:50.920 You get higher shipping prices.
00:17:52.320 And these are not things that happen.
00:17:58.560 Apply across the board.
00:17:59.700 But these things especially have knock-on effects and knock-on effects and knock-on effects.
00:18:04.500 And actually, you know, I would argue that between, you know, the 2008 crisis, 9 and 11,
00:18:12.580 our youths, not that I'm complaining that we were particularly impoverished,
00:18:18.580 but the things that could have been achieved in that period of time really never quite were,
00:18:22.500 as a result of all that global tumult.
00:18:25.740 And if you're growing up and you're just kind of a voting age now,
00:18:30.620 you don't actually have that much of an idea of that period of time,
00:18:34.900 unless you've done your own research.
00:18:37.060 But it's not particularly well documented yet.
00:18:40.420 And so I think this is the moment in time that we start doing that, right,
00:18:43.260 and start talking about that.
00:18:44.440 The stuff, the opportunity cost of the stuff that was stolen from one generation
00:18:50.380 to fuel these pointless wars.
00:18:53.260 And that is not to say, by the way, and amongst all of that,
00:18:56.220 that anybody on our side believes that the Ayatollahs should have a nuclear weapon.
00:19:02.720 But it is to say that we believe that in diplomacy, in prolonged diplomacy,
00:19:06.680 until every single, every single element of that is exhausted.
00:19:10.560 And I just do not think we are there yet.
00:19:12.000 I don't even think we are close to being there yet.
00:19:15.580 Right.
00:19:15.940 We are the same thing.
00:19:18.100 Oh, so you want Saddam Hussein to have weapons of mass destruction.
00:19:21.560 So you want the Taliban to be in charge of Afghanistan.
00:19:24.520 So you want this, you want this, you want this.
00:19:27.140 Endless.
00:19:27.780 It is endless.
00:19:28.740 And it's the exact same refrain, in many cases, from the exact same people.
00:19:34.540 And what we're saying is we don't want American boots on the ground,
00:19:39.360 American bodies coming home in flag-draped caskets again.
00:19:43.540 Many of these pressures, by the way, are what led to the rise of Donald Trump and MAGA in the first place.
00:19:48.840 We just passed the 10-year anniversary of that yesterday.
00:19:52.120 And so what we're talking about is try to think beyond step one,
00:19:56.660 because we have a lot of recent history here to tell us that these things don't go the way that we think they will.
00:20:05.040 Oh, by the way, like Ukraine is another great example after we overthrew the government there.
00:20:09.840 Raheem, I know you've got to run.
00:20:11.440 Give people your coordinates.
00:20:12.860 I know you'll be putting stuff up 24-7.
00:20:15.040 Yeah, thenationalpulse.com.
00:20:18.040 Thank you for having me, Jack.
00:20:18.980 And I just want to say this, you know, I know you have too.
00:20:22.520 I've lost friends to those wars.
00:20:26.740 And, you know, people need to really consider that this isn't just about a week's worth of bombing.
00:20:32.800 It's exactly what you said.
00:20:34.360 People forget the frequency of how often we were seeing those flag-draped coffins coming back from overseas
00:20:38.700 and how many of them would come back at a time.
00:20:40.760 And by God, you want to avoid another two decades of that.
00:20:44.880 Thank you.
00:20:46.480 No, I couldn't agree more with that.
00:20:48.760 That is not the path forward.
00:20:52.100 President Trump can find a way to thread this needle.
00:20:54.740 I trust that he will.
00:20:55.920 Jack Posobiec, right back, Human Events Daily.
00:21:01.880 Hey, Jack, where is Jack?
00:21:04.840 Where is Jack?
00:21:07.160 Where is he?
00:21:08.440 Jack, I want to see you.
00:21:10.760 Great job, Jack.
00:21:13.480 Thank you.
00:21:14.280 What a job you do.
00:21:15.700 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:21:17.100 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad.
00:21:19.380 But we have guys.
00:21:20.840 And these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:21:25.040 All right, Jack Posobiec back live here.
00:21:27.500 Human Events Daily.
00:21:29.660 Folks, we're live on Real America's Voice as well as the Salem Radio Network.
00:21:34.480 And now listen up, because if you're still drinking that corporate watered-down nonsense that passes for coffee, it's time for a serious wake-up call.
00:21:43.180 Blackout coffee isn't just coffee.
00:21:44.360 It's a statement.
00:21:45.260 A declaration that you're done with weak beings and weak values.
00:21:48.460 This is high-octane American roasted fuel for those who grind harder, stand taller, and never back down.
00:21:53.480 Look, I love this stuff.
00:21:56.020 You know, I'm out there pulling all-nighters.
00:21:58.060 I was certainly up all night last night.
00:22:00.600 Going to be up again tonight.
00:22:02.600 Blackout coffee is the only way to get me through.
00:22:05.160 And in fact, they'll be getting me through three hours of TimCast later this evening.
00:22:09.000 Blackout coffee isn't playing games.
00:22:11.120 They're pranking out even more bags than ever, shipping faster than ever, and keeping you locked in with coffee that actually fires you up.
00:22:18.060 Whether you're crushing big goals, crushing the daily grind, or just refusing to drink coffee made by people who hate you, Blackout coffee has got your back.
00:22:25.920 So stop settling.
00:22:26.980 Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash POSO and use promo code POSO for 20% off your first order.
00:22:32.700 Drink like a patriot and drink Blackout.
00:22:35.540 That's blackoutcoffee.com slash POSO.
00:22:37.400 Stop waiting and wake up.
00:22:39.340 Want to bring on now, and folks, we're going to be, of course, monitoring all real-time developments from the National Security Council, from Iran, from the Persian Gulf.
00:22:49.520 There's some reports potentially of U.S. Navy ships being deployed.
00:22:53.860 We know that some were already on the move on the way from the South China Sea up through the Straits of Malacca.
00:22:58.260 So, of course, we're going to be tracking all of those movements as the day progresses.
00:23:03.180 But as we await that breaking news, I wanted to bring in now Liz Collin, investigative journalist from Alpha News in Minnesota, Minneapolis specifically, to break us down, break us through all of the insights right now that have gone on with this horrific – it's an attack.
00:23:21.940 It's an attack that took place last weekend.
00:23:24.860 Guys, do we have Liz?
00:23:28.120 Oh, we do.
00:23:28.860 Great.
00:23:29.400 So, Liz.
00:23:30.100 Hey, Jack.
00:23:30.460 Walk us.
00:23:31.220 Thank you so much for joining us.
00:23:32.580 Thank you, by the way, for being there on the stream on Saturday as all of this was going down, the massive manhunt, which you were able to report in real-time.
00:23:43.340 Walk us through – let's assume someone who's listening hasn't heard any of this yet.
00:23:48.620 In a nutshell, what has happened?
00:23:50.820 What has transpired?
00:23:51.820 What do we know?
00:23:52.780 And where are we now?
00:23:54.780 Yeah, definitely a chaotic weekend.
00:23:57.100 Horrific what has taken place yet again.
00:23:59.480 It seems like in Minnesota, I think we're dubbed now the capital of chaos and really some horrific moments.
00:24:06.600 So, this all begins Saturday at 2 a.m.
00:24:09.900 just outside of Minneapolis in a suburb with the shooting of Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.
00:24:17.120 We now know the man you're seeing now on your screen, Vance Bolter, a 57-year-old man from Minnesota.
00:24:23.700 He shoots Senator Hoffman – he's now charged with these crimes – and his wife.
00:24:30.720 And then he stops at two other locations of different legislators in Minnesota in the same area before he ends up finally at former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark's home.
00:24:45.720 That's in Brooklyn Park, so just a few miles from Champlin, about a quick drive.
00:24:51.180 And this is where he kills the former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark.
00:24:59.100 Very horrifying situation, obviously.
00:25:02.480 And this man comes dressed as a police officer.
00:25:06.280 This is how he identifies himself.
00:25:08.260 We understand two – Senator Hoffman says, open up, police.
00:25:12.500 And you can see he's wearing a mask here.
00:25:14.440 He has what looks to be a flashlight.
00:25:16.620 We've been told he was wearing body armor and looked like a police officer.
00:25:21.800 There are questions why he was, you know, let into the home.
00:25:25.560 Still so many questions with all of this.
00:25:27.920 But this murderous rampage then finally ends at the Hoffman residence.
00:25:33.000 And this is about 3.30, so about 90 minutes later.
00:25:36.400 And this is when he's interrupted by police.
00:25:38.920 An alert police officer said, hey, we should go check out, you know, the former Speaker's home, Melissa Hortman.
00:25:45.300 And this is when police come upon the scene.
00:25:48.240 And it sounds like there's kind of a bit of a confrontation between police and this suspect, Vance Bolter.
00:25:55.200 Bolter somehow goes inside the Hortman residence.
00:25:59.240 Shots are fired.
00:26:00.240 This is when Melissa and her husband, Mark, are tragically killed.
00:26:03.620 He gets out the back door.
00:26:04.840 He escapes on foot.
00:26:05.780 He was even driving what looked to be a police cruiser.
00:26:09.980 That's what was in the driveway with lights on and sets him back to a Minneapolis residence.
00:26:17.800 Turns out he'd been renting a room for the last couple of years in Minneapolis where he'd stay a couple of times a week.
00:26:24.860 So there's more to be said about just that address in Minneapolis as well.
00:26:28.440 Finally, the manhunt for him comes to an end.
00:26:31.760 It's about 43 hours later in Green Isle, Minnesota, not very far from his actual residence in Green Isle that he where he lived with his wife and five children and basically surrendered.
00:26:44.460 He surrendered to law enforcement.
00:26:46.220 They had him surrounded in a field in Green Isle, a rural area.
00:26:49.540 He came out with his hands up and basically identified himself as Vance Bolter.
00:26:55.020 So that's, I mean, and what a harrowing story.
00:27:01.220 Clearly something that no one in the state of Minnesota was expecting to wake up to or hear about.
00:27:08.320 And a horrifying word happened anywhere.
00:27:10.900 At this point, and I've seen in Post Millennial had some stuff earlier today, I'm sure you have this as well, about these handwritten notes that he had been making using publicly available databases to look up some of the addresses.
00:27:27.360 Clearly not the sign of someone who is operating, to my estimation, in their right mind.
00:27:32.140 I mean, the handwritten notes, all of this.
00:27:33.800 Is there any indication, Liz, what his motive was in terms of what was he hoping to accomplish with any of this?
00:27:44.020 Was there, was he trying to send a message?
00:27:46.020 Had these people wronged him in some way?
00:27:47.840 Was there, was there any payoff whatsoever?
00:27:50.780 Or, because it just seems like this is wanton violence.
00:27:55.480 Yeah, still a lot of questions there.
00:27:57.600 And you had the acting U.S. attorney, Joe Thompson, fielding questions yesterday at the first press conference.
00:28:03.980 Since these charges, he was asked that multiple times.
00:28:06.360 But he said there doesn't seem to be any sort of clear-cut motive at this point.
00:28:10.180 At first, they described a manifesto that he left.
00:28:13.120 But really, more than anything, it was a hit list.
00:28:15.740 Alpha News obtained that hit list, if you will.
00:28:18.580 And there were about 60 Democrats on it.
00:28:21.480 Also, some Planned Parenthood locations.
00:28:23.660 So one would think if this had something to do with the abortion issue.
00:28:28.020 But really, yesterday, authorities kind of backed off anything to do with that.
00:28:33.560 He'd clearly been stalking and doing some, you know, reconnaissance surrounding some of these people for some time.
00:28:41.020 And I think more of that will come out.
00:28:44.180 And actually, the people that lived in Minneapolis were aware of him showing up just a couple of times a week.
00:28:49.560 They thought it was strange, but they thought he was a detective.
00:28:51.820 He would leave every day with his briefcase when he would stay at that residence and drive off in what looked to be a police cruiser.
00:29:00.180 And there's a lot of information about, you know, some different companies he was attached to.
00:29:05.060 And I know much has been made about this Workforce Development Board that Walls did appoint him to.
00:29:12.100 And he was not reappointed back in 2023.
00:29:14.240 However, Walls or a source from Walls told the newspaper here in Minnesota that Governor Walls did not know him.
00:29:24.760 But Governor Walls has not said anything publicly about that yet.
00:29:28.340 And so, has there been any information about others that he may have been working with?
00:29:39.380 So, we saw that his wife apparently had also been arrested in this, you know, really blaring headline, blaring headline.
00:29:46.320 That she had money and cash, passports, others, five children that they heard between the two of them, yet don't necessarily seem to be involved.
00:29:56.940 I can't imagine.
00:29:58.320 Was this some sort of plot between the two of them?
00:30:00.880 You know, I think that's a good question, because we learned yesterday, just in the charging documents attached to this case, that Vance Bolter did text his wife that morning.
00:30:13.980 So, these texts came in after 6 in the morning.
00:30:17.020 So, this would have been a few hours after the murders of the Hortman family.
00:30:22.660 But he sent a text to his wife that said, Dad went to war last night.
00:30:27.640 Words are not going to explain how sorry I am for this situation.
00:30:31.520 There's going to be some people coming to the house armed and trigger happy.
00:30:35.540 And I don't want you guys around.
00:30:38.740 So, this is when my law enforcement sources have said they're pinging, you know, the wife's phone, which wouldn't be uncommon in, you know, a situation like this.
00:30:46.400 And this is when she's pulled over, she's pulled over in Onemia, Minnesota, Onemia, Minnesota, excuse me, which is quite a drive from Green Isle.
00:30:56.720 So, is, you know, she leaving at that moment?
00:30:58.680 She has been released, and they have said that she is cooperating with authorities.
00:31:02.980 But obviously, these text messages, you know, I think raise some questions as well.
00:31:09.260 Well, and, you know, it's possible.
00:31:12.100 I suppose a number of things are possible.
00:31:13.600 That could be a set phrase that could be something where, you know, she's told to go but had no idea what, you know, quote, unquote, daddy was doing.
00:31:24.280 So, it very well be – or potentially, you know, something that – and, of course, I'm just positing here.
00:31:30.940 I don't have any special information.
00:31:32.600 Or potentially, she did have an idea of what was going on, and she was trying to get away from it.
00:31:36.480 But, again, I really don't know.
00:31:38.980 I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here as to various, you know, various scenarios that could be playing out.
00:31:45.840 And, of course, we'll see what remains to be found out when lawyers get involved, when debriefings get involved, interrogations, interviews, all the rest of it.
00:31:56.540 And, Liz, what has been the response, I guess, politically – and, obviously, this is politically charged – there in Minnesota?
00:32:05.100 You know, yeah, I think that in the world we live in, Jack, you know this better than most of us as well.
00:32:11.660 It seems that everybody has to – there has to be a side.
00:32:14.680 There has to be a political angle to this.
00:32:17.320 Clearly, this guy is a monster more than anything else.
00:32:21.260 You have the mainstream media in Minnesota, of course, saying, you know, he's a Trump supporter because his roommate has said that,
00:32:28.820 and they don't seem to be wanting to look much further than that, of course.
00:32:33.660 And he certainly seemed to align himself with, you know, pro-life – the pro-life movement.
00:32:38.060 If, you know, this list of 60 Democrats and this Planned Parenthood is, in fact, this hit list.
00:32:42.980 They also found flyers that had no kings scrawled across them in his vehicle as well.
00:32:52.100 So I think, you know, you see that more than anything it does seem like there is, you know,
00:32:57.820 some unity trying to take place in Minnesota among Republicans and Democrats, you know,
00:33:05.000 as the loss of the Horton family is mourned.
00:33:08.620 I know her two younger children released a statement yesterday about their deaths.
00:33:15.580 Well, I think that goes without saying, regardless of politics.
00:33:17.540 Liz, you have been tireless and dogged on this.
00:33:20.200 Where can people go to get all the breaking updates from you?
00:33:23.660 Yeah, it's at Liz Collin on X, at AlphaNewsMN on X, or AlphaNews.org.
00:33:29.140 We'll continue to stay on the story here.
00:33:32.000 What an incredible job she's been doing, folks.
00:33:34.000 Liz Collin, the minute that I saw something that was going on in Minnesota, I said, just call Liz.
00:33:40.320 Just call Liz right now, and she will know everything that's going.
00:33:43.820 She was at a baseball game with her family, and yet she knew every single detail before anyone else.
00:33:49.820 That's how good Liz Collin is.
00:33:51.100 You need to be following her and AlphaNews.

00:35:20.280 All right, folks, Jack Posobiec back live, Human Events Daily.
00:35:23.640 We've got a live shot there of the White House where we're told President Trump is now meeting with his National Security Council team.
00:35:31.020 And we'll be delivering a statement reportedly following the end of that meeting.
00:35:40.080 The stakes couldn't be higher.
00:35:41.680 However, President Trump has repeatedly said, even as long as 10 years ago, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:36:00.000 We know this.
00:36:01.920 U.S. forces are deployed throughout the Middle East.
00:36:05.180 They have been on bases as well as deployed in harm's way in Syria and Iraq.
00:36:11.180 They're still in Iraq, by the way.
00:36:14.840 And we also know that, of course, oil plays a significant driver in all of this.
00:36:21.880 And for anyone who tells you that oil isn't playing a driver in all of this, just take a look at the map.
00:36:26.580 There are oil fields all over Iraq, Persia, the Middle East.
00:36:33.540 20% of the world's oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz, which is the mouth of the Persian Gulf.
00:36:40.160 So when you hear Strait of Hormuz, that's the mouth of the Persian Gulf.
00:36:43.040 So it's just the name of that particular choke point through which that oil flows.
00:36:50.020 And that's why it's so important.
00:36:53.280 That's why it's so key.
00:36:56.320 And so the issue here, folks, the issue is who stands to gain, who stands to benefit, and who stands to lose from everything that's going on.
00:37:10.600 We know that Americans are watching with bated breath.
00:37:14.060 And, of course, we know that the MAGA movement stands for the protection of the American people above all else.
00:37:23.900 And that's what President Trump has in mind, the protection of the American people.
00:37:28.940 That's why we're for deportations.
00:37:31.140 That's why we're for protecting the American homeland from threats abroad and threats domestic, foreign and abroad, domestic and abroad.
00:37:42.220 That's why it's all about.
00:37:44.920 That's what it's all about.
00:37:47.000 And so we see, right now, it seems that Iranians are attacking Israel again.
00:37:52.660 That's a huge update that's going on.
00:37:54.860 Israel's interceptors are up, striking those.
00:37:59.400 We're going to give you that information as it happens in real time.
00:38:05.680 Wall Street Journal has a new article out.
00:38:08.060 Israel built its case for war with Iran on new intelligence.
00:38:10.900 The U.S. didn't buy it.
00:38:12.920 That's not my headline.
00:38:13.940 That's Wall Street Journal.
00:38:15.220 American spy agencies stand by their assessment that Iran hasn't decided to build a nuclear weapon.
00:38:19.260 But Trump now says Tehran is very close.
00:38:22.320 We're talking about those launches on Iran right now.
00:38:26.460 There are some reports of the U.S. ships entering the Persian Gulf from Bahrain, according to Israeli Channel 9.
00:38:33.840 Of course, if you guys throw that map up, people can see the places that I'm describing.
00:38:38.200 Macron says we are against a change of the Iranian regime because we do not know what will happen after this regime.
00:38:47.180 Republican Congressman Thomas Massey has introduced a resolution aimed at banning U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Iranian war.
00:38:54.340 Thomas Massey says this is not our war.
00:38:56.080 Even if it were our war, Congress should decide these issues in accordance with the Constitution.
00:39:03.360 And we're told, so the national security meeting, I'm just trying to check the time on this, that it started around 2.30.
00:39:09.120 So it's right now 2.54 Eastern time.
00:39:11.700 So that means, of course, that the meeting has been going on for about, so it's just under the 30-minute mark right now.
00:39:20.280 It's only been going on for about 25 minutes.
00:39:22.400 So I would expect this report from President Trump to come very soon.
00:39:27.360 And President Trump has always been clear with the American people, whether it's on Truth Social, whether it's an address to the nation,
00:39:34.020 whether it's a statement to press, one of these press gaggles, whether it's leaving the G7 to come back to Washington to decide all of these things.
00:39:43.620 President Trump has always been the one to tell the American people up front about what's going on.
00:39:50.340 And that's one thing where I can say for certain that President Trump is the one that we should all trust when it comes to the information that's coming out and the decisions being made.
00:40:01.720 We know that there's going to be leaks. We know that there's going to be people saying this, an unnamed source here, an unnamed source there.
00:40:07.060 But President Trump is the one who will tell us what's going on, and he will be the one to make this decision.
00:40:13.920 And it is his. He is the man who won the popular vote.
00:40:17.480 He is the man who won 7 out of 7 in the swing states.
00:40:20.360 He is the man in whom the American people put their trust.
00:40:24.620 And he is the man who survived an assassin's bullet on that field in Butler going back July 14th, 2024.
00:40:35.900 Folks, the stakes couldn't be higher.
00:40:39.140 World war potentially hanging in the balance.
00:40:42.480 President Trump is the man for the job.
00:40:44.740 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
