00:01:19.560They've been here over the last couple of days.
00:01:21.260And this is what a lot of local authorities had feared the worst.
00:01:26.740They did not want this to happen, talked about it often, that this was the fear that something was going to, something badly was going to happen after this.
00:01:34.880We do not know the severity of the injuries here.
00:01:37.920We do not know much more other than a shooting has occurred involving ICE in the city of Minneapolis.
00:01:43.100And the governor on X saying under his Twitter account or X account, my public safety team is working together information on an ice-related shooting this morning.
00:01:54.460We will share information as we learn more.
00:01:57.120In the meantime, I ask folks to remain calm.
00:02:01.440We've also heard from several different entities telling people to please stay away from this area.
00:02:09.160it's an active police investigation and then there are people gathering this does look like it's a
00:02:14.840residential neighborhood you can see homes there we are watching this real time here obviously as
00:02:20.700agents are walking through you can see a lot of people a lot of people shouting things at the
00:02:26.280officers at the agents as Corin had mentioned people have their phones out there's been live
00:02:31.260streams of this so a lot of interest into what exactly happened here what exactly is going to
00:02:37.260happen going forward corn obviously has been on the scene talking to witnesses as quickly as we
00:02:44.100can one person told him it was an observer and we've heard about these observers who have been
00:02:49.240there watching ice activity recording it documenting it
00:03:07.260No! No! Shame! Shame! Oh my God! What the f**k? What the f**k? You just f**k! What the f**k did you do?
00:03:23.220Thanks, Joe, and welcome aboard today's Ishan Human Events Daily here on Real America's Voice.
00:03:28.180Today is January 7th, 2025, 2026. Anno, Domini. I'll get that straight. We're going now to look
00:03:35.660into what happened just moments ago in Minneapolis. ICE was conducting operations. We know that
00:03:42.820they've got these massive deployment of agents that are up there, massive deployment of agents
00:03:49.160that are on the ground conducting operations, one of the largest deployments. And in this video,
00:03:55.100which we've now obtained from on the ground in Minneapolis, we can see a woman who is behind
00:04:02.060the wheel of an SUV, is engaged by ICE officers, ICE agents, and rather than step out of the
00:04:10.920vehicle when they ask her to, she hits the gas pedal and attempts to floor into one of
00:04:19.440the officers who's standing directly in front of her.
00:04:23.280And we've got an actual, if you guys could freeze the, or pause the video at that point,
00:04:27.700that you can see there is an officer standing right in front of her right in front of her
00:04:33.420as she hits the gas pedal makes no attempt to there it is it would put this up on twitter as
00:04:40.000well so guys make that full screen real quick we're just directing on the fly here a little bit1.00
00:04:43.880because this is key look at the way her wheel is turned in that via in that image you can see the
00:04:51.020wheel turned directly towards the officer look at the wheel all right you can see that it's at a
00:04:57.340different angle that means she is turned directly towards the officer at that point you see the way
00:05:02.580the wheel is turned know that the officer and you can see his head right there so she's pointing
00:05:07.880directly at him she then now she's at the on the brakes in this photo but we know in a minute
00:05:13.720directly you can see the lights are flashed up because he's on the brake the very next instant
00:05:18.700she hits the gas pedal and we've got the video there so we've got it all on video he then makes
00:05:25.460the move to defend himself. People have asked me before, what are the rules of engagement
00:05:30.920for ICE officers, for any officers in these situations? And the rules of engagement are
00:05:37.760the rules of engagement. These are not, okay, these are not anything that supersedes your right
00:05:45.960to self-defense. It does not supersede your right to self-defense. No. You always have the right to
00:05:53.780defend yourselves when conducting operations and that's exactly what this officer did here
00:05:57.400he acted upon training you can see it on the video she backs up she has the wheels turned
00:06:02.940she then floors into him right into him and he has to get out of the way it looks like she may
00:06:08.520he may have she may have actually hit his leg and this is an attempted murder you cannot blockade
00:06:15.120or impede operations and if you see earlier on in this video it looks like that why is her car
00:06:20.580even blocking them in the first place on the street. She's parked in the middle of the road,
00:06:25.220perpendicular to the roadway, which is not a way that you're supposed to be parked at all.
00:06:30.580So there's no question when she's going to get when they walk up and they ask her to get out
00:06:33.920of the way, you could see she's blocking traffic. She's actually blocking traffic with her SUV.0.99
00:06:39.220You can see in the first part of the video right there. There are cars trying to get her out of0.98
00:06:43.540the way. There are people that she's blocked. So you can't block ICE operations and then you can't
00:06:49.340run over ICE officers. These are illegal actions. And then if you attempt to murder a member of law
00:06:57.280enforcement, they have the right to defend themselves. This is the real world. And Jacob
00:07:01.420Fry, the mayor up there, is committing sedition when he says that ICE should get out of Minneapolis.
00:07:06.960No, I'm sorry, Jacob Fry. Minneapolis is United States territory. You are a local mayor. You do
00:07:14.560not have rights that supersede the federal government conducting lawful behavior.
00:07:20.200We'll be right back, Jack Posobiec, as this story develops.
00:07:26.140In our way, in our golden age, has just begun.
00:07:29.780This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:07:31.540Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
00:07:36.200Welcome to the second American Revolution.
00:07:40.620all right jack so we're back live want to bring on now we're on with general flynn he's joining us
00:07:48.860we originally we're going to talk about and we'll get to it of course this seized tanker up there
00:07:53.940at the gi uk gap in the north atlantic but general flynn i've got to get you in and your thoughts on
00:08:00.440the latest that we've seen the left already erupting in this case up in minneapolis where
00:08:06.640it appears this and we've got it on video. This woman charges an ICE agent with her SUV. He then
00:08:13.340responds to defend himself. And we're now told that that the woman is now who's driving the SUV
00:08:20.200is now deceased. What are your thoughts on where this is going to go?
00:08:24.780Yeah. So so number one, it's sad that the woman got was killed and it's sad that she
00:08:29.960put herself into a position where she looked like she was going to run that ICE agent over. I mean,
00:08:34.700So the guy, these people are up there to do a job directed by the government, and these are human beings, and they're federal law enforcement officers trying to do their jobs, and they're directed to do those, and this woman was clearly blocking the road.
00:08:48.360So, you know, I won't sit here and investigate this thing, you know, over the air with you, Jack, but the fact that she's died now, the mayor of that city and the left is going to take this thing, and they are going to run really, really hard with it.
00:09:03.140And boy, I'm going to tell you, I think over the next 24 to 48 hours, you're going to see a bunch of bundled up Antifa-like groups, you know, that are going to come out into the streets and start protesting in a big, big way.
00:09:16.700They will tie into their leftist representatives inside of our Congress. Washington, D.C. is going to be demanding, at least those on the left, they're going to be demanding the president to take certain actions.
00:09:34.400I mean, they're going to be looking for Christy Noem to come and testify.
00:09:37.880I mean, there are going to be second, third, fourth, fifth order effects from this incident
00:09:43.240that resulted in the death of a person, don't know who she is yet, trying to run a, appears
00:09:49.960to be running, trying to run over a federal law enforcement officer that I guess is working
00:09:55.600for ICE on the streets when they were trying to do their job.
00:09:58.900So what you're showing on your screen there with people starting to come together, I think
00:10:03.100that they're starting to rally in the streets here, I think we're going to see this grow.
00:10:08.920And this could get really, really ugly very quickly. Maybe the weather will tamper things
00:10:14.680down a bit because it looks like it's so damn cold up there, but not good. And anything that
00:10:21.960results in the death of an individual to hands of our federal law enforcement officers who are
00:10:27.920directed to do their jobs in the safest and secure way that they can possibly do it.
00:10:32.940And it looks like this woman was, you know, was set to run this guy over. And I mean,
00:10:39.840you showed it earlier, just really, in fact, it looked like he might even been hit. So
00:10:43.460it's not going to go, it's not going to be good. And by the way, General Flynn, I should mention,
00:10:50.400this is where this took place is just about 10 minutes south of where George Floyd happened.
00:10:57.920Five years ago now. So just about 10 minutes south. I just pulled up on the map here.
00:11:03.620That's 33rd and Portland and George Floyd Square up there. It's it's right just up Portland Avenue.
00:11:11.740It's practically on the same street. This is really a dangerous time.
00:11:15.660This is a really dangerous time, Jack. And I think that we need to take this very seriously because the summer of 2020,
00:11:22.920because now the fact that you mentioned George Floyd and the relationship where physically where this thing occurred,
00:11:27.920I mean, the George Floyd incident really was one of the impetuses to start the riots of the summer of 2020, which resulted in a, I think it was 33 or 34 law enforcement officers killed, billions and billions of dollars in damages to property.
00:11:44.940I mean, these are the kinds of things that happen, and the left in this country is trying to work very hard over time to destroy this country, to stop the kinds of things that we want or are trying to have in our country.
00:12:00.280Well, they've been waiting for an opportunity like this.
00:12:02.040The left use this as an opportunity, don't they, General?
00:12:14.260Why was she there? You know, why did she park her car in the middle of the road? Why did she look like she was blocking federal law enforcement officers from doing their job?0.97
00:12:21.920Why did it look like she looks like she took off knowing that that guy was right in front of her car?
00:12:26.920So, yeah, that's a great picture right there. You know, I mean, a detailed, thorough investigation will determine the outcome of this.
00:12:34.980In fact, Tim Pool just posted some video as well where we can see that she actually sideswipes the officer as she's driving.
00:12:45.540So she does make contact, does look like she hits him in the leg.
00:12:49.120That's another video that's coming out now.
00:12:51.060So as more and more of this video comes out, I think we're all starting to be able to see what actually happened here.
00:12:56.380And by the way, General Flynn, I'd also like to point out that what we saw her conduct prior to this,
00:13:02.620The reason that they're engaging her, that they're going up to her, isn't just that that she was there observing in some peaceful way.
00:13:09.520She's blocking traffic. She's actually blocking the road.
00:13:12.940Look at how she's parked perpendicular to the roadway there.
00:13:16.000And we can all see this. So she's blocking the ICE agents from being able to leave.
00:13:19.900And that's why they're telling her, hey, you need to get out of here.
00:13:22.660You need to get your card of here because she was actively interfering in those operations.
00:13:27.280And at that point, you go from being a, you know, a, you know, legal First Amendment activity to being an active participant, don't you?
00:13:35.860Yeah, you're I mean, you are in you are obstructing justice.
00:13:39.320You are obstructing federal law enforcement operation.
00:13:43.140And that's a that's an offense. That's a crime.
00:13:45.800So you can't do that. And and but but again, we're not dealing with normal times.
00:13:51.220We're not dealing with normal people here in our country.
00:13:53.660We've already we've been through this. We've seen this.
00:13:57.720And that's why when you mentioned George Floyd and the proximity of where, you know, the incident that occurred where he died, I mean, you know, this is a tinderbox, despite if it's freezing cold up there.
00:14:11.900This is a tinderbox situation, and the left will take advantage of it.
00:14:17.500You know, the whole reason why these guys are up there, why are all these federal officials up there, federal law enforcement officials up there?
00:14:24.180because we've got a massive, massive problem that we're learning from the Somali community,
00:14:30.680apparently, where there's just so much severe corruption. And so, I mean, there's good reasons
00:14:37.480why we are there with federal law enforcement officers. There's been plenty of information
00:14:42.640put out to the population up there. The mayor of that city has, to me, his words have incited
00:14:49.660people that at least support him to stand against and obstruct law, federal law enforcement
00:14:57.000operations that the president of the United States has the full authority to direct through
00:15:01.040his secretary of Homeland Security. I mean, this is a big, big deal. And the fact that
00:15:07.760we now have a situation that resulted in the death of an American at the hands of federal
00:15:13.820law enforcement officers, it falls into another category. So there's going to be an examination
00:15:19.400of the rules of engagement and all that kind of stuff.
00:15:21.500And I know, Jack, that we wanted to talk about other things today.
00:15:25.060But this, to me, I want people to be prepared.
00:15:27.500But Joe Flynn, Joe Flynn, the question I have as well, rules of engagement,
00:15:31.480do any of the rules of engagement supersede the right to self-defense?
00:16:25.280But the response by the community and the response by the left, and we've already seen
00:16:31.700this, Jack, we've seen this in Baltimore, we've seen this in St. Louis, we've seen this
00:16:35.540in Minneapolis, we've seen this in places up in Michigan, we've seen this in Seattle,
00:16:39.800We've seen this in Portland. We have seen this show over and over and over. And until we actually have, until we stand up against this, these bodies of people that are being, as we just learned, I think in the last 24 hours, the amount of money that is coming in from overseas, from the Soros Foundation, the Arabella Group.
00:17:01.860I mean, all these different organizations that are overseas that are funding the left's creation of turmoil on the streets of America, the president of the United States is going to have to take some action against those groups that fund these things, because I have a funny feeling that we're going to see in the next 24 to 48 hours a much greater response to this incident, sadly, and we'll see what happens.
00:17:24.480You know, see how how the Department of Homeland Security, you know, responds, president responds.
00:17:29.920Certainly the the the governor of, you know, of the state, the the mayor of the city.
00:17:37.680I mean, these are these are all questions that are not.
00:17:41.180But but, you know, Jack, you know, this one, this this this mayor, this mayor also a couple of weeks ago, just before Christmas, he said he said ice has brought chaos to our community.
00:17:52.620And I fear that next what will happen is that an ICE agent could be killed.
00:18:08.840They're talking about it like Minneapolis is like its own sovereign nation outside of the United States and the jurisdiction of our laws.
00:18:16.120Yeah, I'm no longer surprised, and I haven't been surprised for a long time at the actions of the left. The left in this country, when we say the left, these are communist Marxist Islamists, period. And they have formed an alliance to undermine and destroy the very fabric of the United States of America.
00:18:36.440If if our political, you know, elected representatives in this country in Congress don't get that what I just said, then we're in big trouble.
00:18:47.480And I mean, and I mean it, we're in big trouble. Incidents like these, Jack, what they do is they create opportunities for those that are trying to destroy this country and to tear apart and rip apart the fabric of our constitutional rights and our constitutional system of government.
00:19:05.160that's what they're going to do and you know to lose exactly right i'm serious jack and i think
00:19:11.480that we in uh in the united states uh in washington dc you know this is not this is not left versus
00:19:19.140right or democrats republic these are idealized right back here that's daily general plan
00:19:24.140you talk about influences these are influences and uh they're friends of mine jack or so like
00:20:10.200This is an area directly between Greenland, Iceland and the UK.
00:20:15.240So that's why it's called GI UK gap and all.
00:20:17.720And the key strategic nation, key strategic choke point on the planet for people to understand that all of the transport,
00:20:26.860The oil, all of the shipments between those northern fleets, between those that northern oil between the for all of the Baltic countries, for Germany as well.
00:20:45.300So this is a key area and explains why President Trump is so strategically focused on what Greenland is right there.
00:20:55.380So Greenland as being a key strategic potential resource for the United States.
00:20:59.740General Flynn, I want to get your analysis on why it was that this area specifically is where the United States, where President Trump determined to make this seizure of that tanker.
00:21:10.420Yeah, that's a great map that you have up there, too, Jack.
00:21:12.900So if you could just keep that up there for your audience, because I think that is probably the one that shows the I would call it vital terrain, right?
00:21:19.980Vital terrain in the world of geopolitics.
00:21:23.720those straits through those operational water lanes here, the waterways are very critical.
00:21:31.300So, you know, one thing, you know, quickly is that Russia is not Venezuela. Russia is a nuclear
00:21:38.000armed powerhouse, you know, that is not going to allow itself to be, you know, quote unquote,
00:21:44.220pushed around like we're able to do with, you know, with Venezuela, because Venezuela is a much
00:21:49.800smaller and much less capable nation. And so this ship is apparently it was a Russian
00:21:55.860Russian flag vessel. It was seized by our special forces in coordination with the United States
00:22:01.400Coast Guard. Coast Guard, I guess, has taken responsibility for it. Russia, I understand
00:22:07.700elements of the Duma, which is essentially their Congress, have already come out with very strong
00:22:12.220statements in support of military responses by Russia. I understand that there may have been a
00:22:20.740missile test. If it hasn't occurred, they're talking about conducting some type of missile
00:22:25.280tests in this area. For the people that don't pay real close attention to this, those vital
00:22:30.860waterways, that is the only real strategic lane or set of lanes for the Russian Navy, particularly
00:22:37.900with their nuclear submarine fleet to be able to exit the northern Baltic Sea, right?
00:22:43.640So they have to come through the fjords up there, through the northern tier and into
00:22:49.300the Atlantic, because the only other way for them to get anywhere is really over in the
00:22:55.460Far East Military District, over in a place called Vladivostok, or certainly out through
00:23:03.420Right. And the United States and NATO have put so many sense of this goes back to the Cold War.
00:23:08.860It even goes back to World War Two because the German Navy, the Kriegsmarine had the same exact issue.
00:23:13.420It's just comes down to geography. So this this being the strategic line of communication, sea line of communication, strategic naval choke point that that's where the sonar arrays, the SOSIS arrays are implanted implanted.
00:23:25.640You've got about 200 miles between Iceland and Greenland and then about 500 miles between Iceland and the United Kingdom.
00:23:34.500So, you know, northern Scotland there, basically.
00:23:36.640So that's why this area strategically, if you throw the map back up, guys, is so strategic for any of these military operations, strategic warfare.
00:23:45.560This is why President Trump has been so focused on Greenland.
00:23:50.240And people think that it's, oh, what's the point of Greenland?
00:23:53.420Go and look at the map and you'll see.
00:23:55.640And not only that, but also the Arctic, Jack. The Arctic has some of the largest amounts of known strategic reserves for energy in the world, on the planet. I mean, beyond what's in the Middle East, beyond what's in Venezuela, the Arctic.
00:24:10.980So the Arctic Circle is very critical. Greenland as a piece of geography, topography is a very critical component. When you look between Greenland, the United Kingdom and Europe, and of course, Norway and the Scandinavian countries, incredibly, incredibly important to be able to control those lanes.
00:24:32.640And so it's not just what, you know, taking this tanker that had some oil that came out of Venezuela.
00:24:39.300It's to me, to me, this. Well, it's a message, isn't it? It's a huge message. It's a huge message.
00:24:44.440The challenge here, though, and I'll finish with this, Jack. The challenge is we are dealing with a great power in Russia and they will have a response.
00:24:53.280This will likely impact negotiations for peace in Ukraine. This will go for a potential long-term either ceasefire or peace agreement. There will be repercussions for these kinds of actions.
00:25:08.060And, you know, and from my perspective as an American, I mean, I want our country to be dominant globally because I do believe that our way of life is where everybody in the world is trying to get to, right?
00:25:24.140It's why the people in Tehran are screaming and fighting for their own freedom.
00:25:27.600It's why people broke out in nirvana in Venezuela right after Maduro was pulled out because people want freedom.
00:25:34.300And that's what President Trump is trying to say to the globalist community. Look, we are going to fight for our own nationalism, our own sovereignty, our own peace, and we're going to do it on behalf of the citizens of the United States.
00:25:47.740And when everybody goes, well, national security, we'd like to take care of what's here at home. Yeah, we do. There are some things that have to be taken care of here at home.
00:25:55.160And one of them is accountability. But I would tell you that national security and for the United States of America includes places like the Arctic, Greenland, those straits that we just talked about, elements, the Panama Canal, the Caribbean and the Straits in the Caribbean.
00:26:08.280And there's so many elements for us to maintain who we are as a nation for the protection and safety, security, preservation of our Constitution and our way of life.
00:26:18.200All of those things matter. And that's why, you know, that's why we're seeing the kinds of decisions that President Trump is making.
00:26:25.480He's making them, you know, and I and I hope that that the team around him is in full support of him to make these kinds of decisions.
00:26:33.440it appears to be. I heard Marco Rubio today and Pete Hagseth together in a quick press conference,
00:26:39.500and I thought that their words were right, strong, and matter of fact. So that's the direction that
00:26:45.060we're heading. I would say to go back to the first hit that we had about this incident up in
00:26:51.080Minneapolis, this is a tinderbox, and the left is going to take, they're going to take advantage of
00:26:57.260it. General Flynn, where can people follow you? People can go to generalflynn.com and follow me,
00:27:02.820and I appreciate you having me on for a little bit, Jack,
00:31:39.840A few months ago, the U.S. government placed silver part of the critical metal.
00:31:43.720What that basically means is when we utilize silver for the military complex, silver is consumed. It's no longer able to recycle and repurpose. And when government buys for natural, obviously, security purposes, they're not going to disclose how much. So all of a sudden we have this invisible hand buying so much silver.
00:32:02.640And by the way, this is credit to President Trump. When he pressured NATO to do their part
00:32:08.620and start spending at least 5% of their GDP to the defense, all of a sudden you have major,
00:32:15.440major countries needing to replenish their weaponry. Number two, you have the industrial
00:32:21.040usage. And I want to quickly break that down into three categories. You have electric vehicles,
00:32:26.220solar panels, and right now we have the artificial intelligence. See, right now,
00:32:31.120silver is indispensable. It is required. You can't take paper in solar panels. You can't take the
00:32:38.140paper in electric vehicles or in these data centers. We've done trillions of dollars in
00:32:42.780investment into building the ecosystem. So that way, again, we win the war against China when
00:32:48.320it comes to the AI movement. And third but not least, you have the investors. It's not about
00:32:53.460just the central banks. All of a sudden, a lot of investors are realizing, they're saying, hold on
00:32:57.320a second. If I have paper, I don't have control. I have leverage. I am basically stuck into the
00:33:05.060system. Versus if I have some physical, I'm in control. So if you want some sovereignty and real
00:33:10.420financial independence, then you have to choose the physical over the paper. The paper has some
00:33:16.400benefits. If you're thinking short term, you may very well have some exposure to it. But do not
00:33:21.940make the mistake. When you have the paper, you only have price exposure. You have zero ownership.
00:33:28.560That's why strategically a lot of investors are... Go ahead.
00:33:32.760Well, and this makes up so much sense. You can actually take possession of your silver. So we've
00:33:37.700got protectwithposo.com that's set up. We've been using that for years at this point. And also,
00:33:43.320before you go, I wanted to let people know that there's a new offer for the new year coming from
00:33:48.240Allegiance Gold? Look, we want to start the year right. And one of the offers that we have is for
00:33:53.560you to kind of proactively prepare. We hope for the best, but hope itself is not a strategy.
00:33:59.880So you've got to take the necessary measure because gold and silver, what they do is they
00:34:03.460expose the weakness in the system. And best way to do that is kind of diversify and have some
00:34:08.480portion of your assets. So the offer is very simple. On any qualified investments you make,
00:34:13.420You get 1% back in bonus gold or silver.
00:34:17.580Folks, we don't play any games or gimmicks.
00:34:20.340When we say bonus, you're going to get bonus and you have the full transparency.
00:34:24.820So go to protectwithposo.com or you can call us at 844-790-9191.
00:35:00.280I believe we have Liz Collin from Alpha News joining us.
00:35:08.520We're working on this because when we see what's happening,
00:35:11.700down there and this in Minneapolis, where this story has completely, once again, this city has
00:35:17.940just taken over the news cycle completely. Ice on the ground, everyone on the ground,
00:35:25.060they are there. Guys, do we have Liz? Hi, Jeff. Liz, thank you so much for joining us. I know
00:35:33.160you and I were speaking earlier, even before any of this happened. What's the latest? What do we
00:35:37.860know from this ICE-involved shooting there in Minneapolis? Yeah, Jack, so this all unfolded
00:35:46.460this morning. It was about 9.30 here in Minneapolis. We know that ICE agents have been in
00:35:53.360town. They actually have been for weeks now, but we had 2,000, as it was announced by the
00:35:59.280federal government, 2,000 HSI agents working with ICE sort of come in, move in, as this focus has
00:36:06.080been on fraud. And we know that many arrests have been taking place. So you have protest groups in
00:36:12.940Minneapolis that are even outside of the city as well that have been organized working in teams of
00:36:19.900people. They actually go out to harass these agents. It appears that that was the case this
00:36:24.320morning with these groups of cars that are seen on the street. It's around the 34th and Portland
00:36:30.220area. For your viewers, interesting to note, this is actually just a few blocks from George Floyd
00:36:35.240Square, which is what it's known now as the 38th and Chicago in Minneapolis. So you have this
00:36:41.020maroon SUV that seems to be shouting some things at the officers from the videos that I've seen
00:36:46.880from the scene. You have an ICE agent appear to pull on the door handle, ask for this driver to
00:36:54.340get out of the vehicle. That person does not comply with that. Instead, seems to basically
00:37:00.980drive, step on the gas, according to what you can see in the video. And there is an agent standing
00:37:07.140right in front of the car at that time. This agent then fires his weapon, what appears to be
00:37:14.540right through the windshield, at this female driver. And the car then crashes into a telephone
00:37:23.580pole, it looks like not too far away. This woman has been pronounced dead. We have some very tense
00:37:29.420moments that still are unfolding hours later now in Minneapolis with the people who've gathered at
00:37:35.600the scene, protest groups that seem to have been there before. And you have some rhetoric coming
00:37:42.280from our political class in Minneapolis that I know you know well, Jack, and also from these
00:37:48.820so-called leaders in Minnesota, but helping to fan the flames, telling ICE to get out of town.
00:37:53.800I won't even use their language on your program, but really quite vile, the messaging that what we're getting now from the leaders in Minneapolis.
00:38:04.460Also, Governor Walz tweeting that DHS is a propaganda machine and not believing their series of events, which basically match up completely with what we see on the video from what unfolded there this morning, Jack.
00:38:19.060And so, Liz, you mentioned these groups, and I wanted to kind of drill down on that.
00:38:23.680Do you do you have any more information on because, look, we see in this video that these protesters, they're there before this happens.
00:38:31.600They're there before the people thinking, oh, they're showing up in response to the shooting.
00:38:35.540They're not showing up in response to the shooting. They're already there.
00:38:38.060They were already masked. And now, of course, more are coming, but they were already there.
00:38:42.060And, of course, we see in the video that this driver is blocking and impeding ICE operations by using her car perpendicularly parked across the road so that they can't get the vehicles out to conduct whatever operations they're working on while they're there.
00:38:56.800The protest groups were already there.
00:39:01.140You know, there is a highly active activist community in Minneapolis, and that was even the case before the rioting we saw in 2020.
00:39:10.980But with this particular cause, there's been many, many protests, many community groups.
00:39:17.960We've been reporting on this over at Alpha News as well.
00:39:20.780In fact, the Star Tribune, this is Minnesota's largest newspaper, actually has a tracking system they were putting online saying,
00:39:28.220tell us where you're seeing ICE officers and we'll sort of, you know, blast out their locations.
00:39:32.900Again, it's hard to believe, but this is Minnesota and this is what people are dealing with here.
00:39:38.780really the fanning the flames. You had the St. Paul police chief encouraging people after
00:39:46.300some standoffs took place with some ICE operations not long ago. He was encouraging people,
00:39:52.260we want you to come out to scenes. We want you to make sure that these men and women are doing
00:39:56.880their jobs and go out and record and helping to encourage these groups, which have just created
00:40:01.960chaos. And keep in mind, I believe it's only seven counties out of Minnesota's 87 that cooperate
00:40:08.000with ICE at all, meaning that these situations are so much more chaotic and tense than they need to
00:40:14.700be. If jails were cooperating with ICE, they would simply call them, they would go to these
00:40:19.500facilities and pick these people up. Instead, this is now spilled out into the streets where
00:40:24.560people are going into homes, going into businesses, and creating this chaos where that certainly does
00:40:29.360not need to be the case. And under, you know, Attorney General Keith Ellison, he has basically
00:40:34.240said that local municipalities cannot cooperate with ICE. And we've seen some sheriff's departments
00:40:40.280sort of fracture off from what he has told them. But in many ways, it seems that this is the
00:40:47.980environment that has been created here. And it's really tragic to see how clearly this
00:40:56.460does not have to be the case. It doesn't happen like this in other states.
00:41:00.840Do we have any indication what operation or what enforcement ICE was actually conducting while they were there?
00:41:13.200Yeah, this has been ongoing for weeks. I actually did a ride along with ICE not too long ago.
00:41:18.380They, in fact, at that point, arrested a state employee who was working for the state of Minnesota that they went to pick up someone who had been convicted of sexual assault.
00:41:30.840who is now in the process of being deported.
00:41:34.220But they basically said at the beginning of the year, they did expect to ramp this up.
00:41:39.220They were kind of short on manpower and with all eyes, it seems, on Minnesota at the moment.
00:41:44.740The federal government answered that call and said they were bringing more resources into the state.
00:41:51.940And there are reports that there are many of these ongoing in suburbs, in Minneapolis, in the city of St. Paul as well.
00:41:59.480So they they seem to be working statewide in large groups together.
00:42:05.340And what kind of effect does this have on on law enforcement on?
00:42:10.680I obviously know that you've you've worked a lot with the local law enforcement there and the Derek Chauvin case and many others.
00:42:17.260But just what sort of effect does the support for these groups that we're clearly seeing from the city's leadership?
00:42:24.100What kind of effect does that have on law enforcement in general in the area?
00:42:26.940it? Yeah, you know, I can say from the cops that I talked to, they're just so frustrated. They want
00:42:32.200to uphold the law. They want to do their jobs. Instead, these lines of division have been created
00:42:38.640by their police chiefs, by the mayor of Minneapolis and other political leaders as well,
00:42:44.440saying, you know, we're not going to cooperate with ICE. So you're even seeing some of this in
00:42:48.700video that they're called out to some of these chaotic scenes, scenes that, you know, one would
00:42:54.680say do not have to be unfolding at all, but they will be sitting back in some cases. They're
00:43:00.760afraid something happens to them if, you know, they're captured on camera helping a fellow
00:43:06.240officer if it is from, you know, the federal government. But I can tell you that they want
00:43:12.620to enforce the law, and it's frustrating for them. Those are the people that I've been talking to in
00:43:18.900many departments, not just in Minneapolis. And it's just unbelievable, as you mentioned,
00:43:26.180just a few blocks away from what is now called George Floyd Square. Guys, I believe we have that
00:43:32.260audio of the mayor of Minneapolis. We've had to clean it up a little bit, but I want to play that
00:43:38.860because it'll give everyone a sense of what we're talking about. And I have a message for ICE.
00:43:44.420to ice. Get the f**k out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being
00:43:55.260in this city is to create some kind of safety and you are doing exactly the opposite. People
00:44:01.280are being hurt. Families are being ripped apart. Long-term Minneapolis residents that have
00:44:07.860contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized. And now
00:44:14.220somebody is dead. That's on you. And it's also on you to leave.
00:44:23.480Liz, you've been there. You've been covering the mayor for so long. Can I just get you to
00:44:27.420respond to that very quickly? You know, nothing ceases to amaze me with that mayor at this point,
00:44:33.520but it's the exact same rhetoric we saw five years ago. People fell for it then. I'm hoping
00:44:38.540a lot more eyes have been opened now. Rather than just telling the truth, getting out in front of
00:44:43.180this, stating what the video clearly shows. Instead, you have more lies being spewed by
00:44:50.960the mayor of Minneapolis. And again, I think that this situation just speaks for itself. And
00:44:56.940thankfully, the video, I think, is circulating. And I know your next guest has done some great
00:45:02.340work here in Minneapolis, and I'm sure has much more to say on that. Of course, of course. And
00:45:07.340And we'll we'll we'll hold you there as well, because so we've got Nick Sorter on Nick.
00:45:12.140Are you are you on the ground? You're near the scenes right now.
00:45:16.500Yeah, Jack, I am now I plan on doing this live shot from the scene itself, but I am now in my car.
00:45:22.360It has gotten to the point where it's just too unsafe out there.
00:45:27.040The situation is devolving, to be honest. And that's exactly what Mayfrae wants.
00:45:31.920And I'm glad to be on here with Liz, who does fantastic work.
00:45:34.460i absolutely love the stuff that she does out here uh and she's like the only real journalist
00:45:40.060that's that's out here at this point uh well covering this stuff but she is can you tell us
00:45:46.520can you tell us what you've heard in terms of the in terms of the situation you were one of
00:45:52.440the first people to put a video up that i saw um i'm guessing you got that from a witness there
00:45:56.980but are your people are saying that um you know here from mayor fry that it was the ice agent's
00:46:03.240fault that ICE caused this. Is that what you're hearing on the ground? Did ICE cause this or was
00:46:08.420this caused by the driver? I would say it's probably caused by the driver that tried to run
00:46:14.120over the ICE agent. I think you I don't know if you've been showing the front view that with an
00:46:19.460angle from down the street where you can actually see very clearly that that woman run into the
00:46:26.180agent who was standing in front of the vehicle. You can see how he gets hit backward because he
00:46:31.180got hit by the car uh and and that's pretty much if mayor fry saw that video before he went out
00:46:38.760there and regardless of whether or not he did he still would have said the same thing but he would
00:46:42.940have been totally lying by saying that the dhs story was uh false because vehicle as you know0.96
00:46:50.800jack is a deadly weapon she used that deadly weapon against a dhs agent and deadly force was
00:46:58.460back on her in self-defense. What do you expect them to do? Are they just supposed to allow people
00:47:03.540to mow them down in cars now? Is that the Democrat argument? I want to go back. Liz Collin, now you
00:47:10.580were there, of course, five years ago. Another viral video from just blocks away came out
00:47:16.620involving law enforcement. That video, of course, involving George Floyd. Are you concerned that,
00:47:23.220no, obviously weather may not be permitting right now because we can all see how cold it is there,
00:47:28.000But are you concerned that this viral video could be taken and create another Tinder box for the city?
00:47:36.680You know, I will say that it does seem that we live in a different world now.
00:47:39.980People are asking the right questions and people are seeing this video for themselves.
00:47:43.900Nick has done great work over these these last few days.
00:47:46.060I want to give you a shout out, Nick, to be on the ground telling the truth from here in Minnesota, because there is so much to say about what is going on.
00:47:54.280But I was just going to say, just getting a text from a cop that is there, too, you can clearly see, he says it's important to point out, you know, to stop the flames and lies from burning down Minneapolis yet again.
00:48:06.460But this agent firing as he's being struck by the car, he's actually pushing the car in the video in one clip that he has sent me, pushing the car as contact is made.
00:48:16.900So, had he not moved and fired, he would have been drug under the car, as it appears, as he's been on scene and watching the video as well.
00:48:26.020So, again, people can see this for themselves.
00:48:28.720And in this moment, you know, the mayor did have a chance to tell the truth, and we're seeing the opposite.
00:48:35.180We actually saw some messaging on fraud from Governor Tim Walz yesterday, failing to tell the truth yet again.
00:48:41.660And in many ways, you've got to kind of wonder, with all of these ongoing federal investigations, if these guys are just lashing out in their final moments.
00:48:51.320I mean, I think that's the hope for many taxpayers in Minnesota.
