00:00:55.500 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard tonight's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning
00:01:01.300 Point USA.
00:01:02.140 Today is September 27th, 2022.
00:01:04.420 Anno Domini.
00:01:05.780 Today's top headlines.
00:01:06.780 European leaders have announced that the Nord Stream pipeline explosion was a deliberate
00:01:13.340 attack.
00:01:14.940 We're going to break down the latest next.
00:01:16.520 The North Dakota man, who allegedly killed a teenager, claiming he was a Republican extremist,
00:01:21.900 Shannon Brand, is now out on low bond and was not given house arrest or curfew.
00:01:26.780 We're going to follow this up with court documents.
00:01:28.200 Third, New Orleans, the murder capital of America, is now having to hire civilians to 0.61
00:01:34.120 do police work in the wake of a cop exodus, the blue flu.
00:01:37.860 And then finally, a new research paper is out questioning the benefits of the war on terror
00:01:43.360 itself.
00:01:43.860 All this in Warhead, Human Events Daily.
00:01:55.740 Let me answer the first question first.
00:01:57.960 If Germany, if Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine
00:02:07.620 again, then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2.
00:02:14.580 We will bring an end to it.
00:02:18.220 But how will you do that exactly, since the project and control of the project is within
00:02:26.900 Germany's control? 0.91
00:02:28.960 We will.
00:02:30.220 I promise you, we'll be able to do it.
00:02:32.100 So, the latest that we have, the time of air, is this.
00:02:39.820 The Nord Stream pipelines, both one and two, were destroyed late last night.
00:02:48.220 It was first noticed by a drop in pressure that was received through the pipeline at its
00:02:55.800 external end where it reaches Europe.
00:02:57.080 Those pipelines are critical for supplying gas to the European continent at their capacity
00:03:06.320 going into this winter.
00:03:09.600 Now, we don't know if they'll be able to be repaired.
00:03:14.280 Obviously, they're connected to Russia.
00:03:16.800 So, we have no idea what's going to happen.
00:03:19.800 Clearly, this shows massive, massive escalation in the tensions between the two sides.
00:03:28.880 And it's certainly one of those things that I think going into this, everybody was wondering,
00:03:34.540 will Nord Stream 2 become a flashpoint, not just in terms of negotiations, but because
00:03:40.000 of the fact that it's a physical target sitting right there.
00:03:44.440 Look it up.
00:03:44.900 It's about 100 meters below the surface of the Baltic Sea that runs between northern Germany
00:03:51.460 and Russia.
00:03:53.400 So, the question, of course, becomes, what happened?
00:03:56.700 Well, seismic readings came out from the Uppsala University in Sweden.
00:04:03.620 And those seismic readings showed, and the researchers came out and backed this up, two massive movements
00:04:13.260 on the seismic register that coincide with the explosions.
00:04:18.800 Now, what they said was, look, this was not an earthquake.
00:04:23.020 It's not consistent with an earthquake.
00:04:24.580 Of course, to earthquake, you'd have tremors.
00:04:26.300 You'd have things leading up to it.
00:04:27.440 This wasn't that.
00:04:28.800 Two sudden seismic events.
00:04:31.400 And then the other question becomes, well, could it be a malfunction?
00:04:36.580 Well, maybe one, but two at the same time?
00:04:40.200 Come on.
00:04:40.820 That's not a malfunction.
00:04:42.500 So, European leaders, European officials have come out, Sweden, Denmark, more probably coming
00:04:47.860 out now saying that they believe that this was a deliberate attack.
00:04:52.080 And Der Spiegel has an article up.
00:04:54.300 Der Spiegel says, and this is translated from the German, because I don't speak Nazi,
00:04:58.500 CIA warned federal government against attack on Baltic Sea pipelines.
00:05:06.000 The signs of a planned attack against the two Nord Stream gas lines are condensing, according
00:05:09.920 to Spiegel information.
00:05:11.600 There were already indications of this from the United States in advance.
00:05:15.960 But what's interesting, though, is Der Spiegel goes a step further, and they examined who
00:05:19.560 would benefit from this.
00:05:20.520 So it says, from Ukraine's point of view, the permanent interruption of gas supplies
00:05:24.380 from Russia to Germany would be a possible interest in the room.
00:05:28.300 On the contrary, though, there would be immense political disadvantages that could arise from
00:05:32.120 the attack.
00:05:32.900 In addition, Ukrainian special forces are also not trusted to take such an action in the
00:05:37.520 respective places.
00:05:38.340 The Baltic Sea is about 70 meters deep.
00:05:41.180 Russian special forces, on the other hand, could be trusted with such an operation.
00:05:45.360 However, pulling it up here, however, a political interest for Russia is hardly recognizable,
00:05:53.180 except for the incident of blaming other parties.
00:05:56.320 And so there's former Polish officials coming out saying, thank you, USA.
00:06:01.420 There's all sorts of things going on.
00:06:03.300 People are going to be pointing fingers on this like crazy.
00:06:07.100 We knew this would be a flashpoint.
00:06:08.860 It has become a flashpoint.
00:06:10.200 We've seen other naval flashpoints around the world, whether it's the Gulf of Tonkin, whether
00:06:18.060 it's the Lusitania, whether it's the USS Maine, that have led to major conflicts.
00:06:24.180 And so I hope and pray that this does not become one of those incidents, that we look at this
00:06:30.120 with cold, sober eyes, and we say, it's not worth World War III.
00:06:36.100 None of this is worth World War III.
00:06:40.100 Go to the drawing board.
00:06:42.080 Stop the war. 0.74
00:06:43.460 Stop the killing.
00:06:45.740 Come up with a way to find people.
00:06:47.960 You got to make a deal.
00:06:49.680 Make a deal.
00:06:51.580 Come down.
00:06:52.960 Even if you don't like everybody, okay, that's the point of negotiations.
00:06:56.060 That's the point of deal.
00:06:57.080 It's still better than World War III. 1.00

00:07:51.100 All across our country, Americans are discovering that if we want to change this nation, we must
00:07:59.140 change the way that the marketplace works.
00:08:01.780 Woke corporations are seeking to divide us.
00:08:04.180 Big banks are freezing the accounts of people who disagree with their political views.
00:08:08.060 And our supply chain is dependent upon countries that actively work against our values.
00:08:12.720 It's time for another change.
00:08:13.760 And that change starts with you and your wallet.
00:08:16.260 That's why I'm proud to partner with Public Square, the largest directory of freedom-loving
00:08:20.560 businesses our nation has ever seen.
00:08:23.080 Public Square is the first app to connect freedom-loving Americans with their local community
00:08:27.120 and the businesses that share their values.
00:08:29.340 Whether you want to support a restaurant that only buys from local farms, a coffee shop that
00:08:33.200 took a stand against the COVID mandates, or a bank that would never cancel you for your
00:08:36.700 political views, Public Square is your guide.
00:08:38.900 Just download the Public Square app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, create a free
00:08:42.720 account, and begin your search.
00:08:44.260 You can also list your business for free so your local community can find you today.
00:08:47.900 Go to the app today, Public Square.
00:08:49.460 That's Public Square, Public SQ.
00:08:53.640 Constitution.
00:08:54.800 They do not believe in the rule of law.
00:08:56.680 They do not recognize the will of the people.
00:08:58.900 And they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the
00:09:06.180 pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.
00:09:11.680 They embrace anger.
00:09:13.660 They thrive on chaos.
00:09:16.260 The willingness to engage in political violence is fatal to democracy.
00:09:20.940 More and more talk about violence is an acceptable political tool in this country.
00:09:28.340 There is no place for political violence in America, period, none, ever.
00:09:38.040 No place for political violence.
00:09:40.080 Well, here's the situation.
00:09:41.620 There was political violence that was claimed by a man named Shannon Brandt, North Dakota,
00:09:48.200 small town there, the county of North Dakota, Foster County, where he's being prosecuted now,
00:09:53.780 who ran over and killed a teenager, were told, by the way, that he did this because of a political
00:10:01.620 disagreement and because he believed he was an extreme Republican.
00:10:05.320 Two weeks, just two weeks after President Biden's hate speech.
00:10:11.140 Now, Brandt has not been charged with murder.
00:10:14.700 So we see another one of these situations where someone is not being charged, just like Alec Baldwin.
00:10:19.820 Okay, so Baldwin, we know he might be charged.
00:10:23.740 It's been almost a year, by the way, since Alec Baldwin killed his co-worker on video.
00:10:30.380 Killed his co-worker on video, not charged for a year.
00:10:33.560 You or I did that?
00:10:34.320 Oh, we'd be charged very quickly.
00:10:36.500 Shannon Brandt, not charged with murder, even though he admitted to deliberately doing this.
00:10:42.320 Okay.
00:10:45.180 What do we have here in the new court documents?
00:10:48.100 Well, the Post Millennial has the story.
00:10:49.720 41-year-old Brandt, who has been charged with vehicular homicide, just vehicular homicide,
00:10:54.240 and leaving the scene of a deadly accident, was released after posting a $50,000 bond,
00:10:59.700 something that former U.S. attorney Nima Rachman said is very low and woefully adequate.
00:11:05.440 We're also finding out that upon his release, he was not given curfew, and he certainly was not given house arrest.
00:11:12.600 He's been charged with this thing, posted bail, let right out.
00:11:18.100 Meanwhile, we've got J6 prisoners that have been languishing behind bars for protesting.
00:11:25.440 We've got political prisoners that the Biden regime has held in prison for nearly two years at this point.
00:11:35.220 Some of them without even a trial.
00:11:39.440 So when they go over to Italy and they say that, well, Georgia Maloney, she's a neo-fascist. 0.64
00:11:45.440 She hasn't even gotten on the job yet.
00:11:47.200 Okay, Georgia Maloney's not even on the job. 1.00
00:11:49.640 We've got political prisoners in jail here in the United States.
00:11:53.180 We've got censorship everywhere in the United States.
00:11:56.760 We've got biomedical edicts coming out from our government, from our workplaces, from the military.
00:12:02.680 A military purge, by the way, that's going on.
00:12:05.720 Insane levels of prosecution and persecution of the political opposition.
00:12:12.400 But Georgia Maloney's the problem. 1.00
00:12:14.100 Meanwhile, you've got guys like this guy Brand, who, by his admission, ran over a teenager because of a political dispute.
00:12:25.380 Because he believed that he was a, quote, Republican extremist, even though they haven't been able to find any evidence of that whatsoever.
00:12:33.400 That is what's going on in our world.
00:12:37.360 That's what's going on in our country.
00:12:38.580 So, connect it to the last segment.
00:12:42.920 Connect it to the earlier thing we were talking about.
00:12:45.840 You're looking potentially at World War III going on, breaking out in Europe.
00:12:53.340 By the way, not far from the city of Gdansk, which the Germans refer to as Danzig, which is where the last World War broke out.
00:13:00.240 It's literally that exact same flashpoint right between Germany and Poland, where World War II broke out.
00:13:08.880 Right there on the map is now we're looking at this for Nord Stream.
00:13:14.940 Go back.
00:13:16.120 And now here in the United States, we're in some kind of low-level civil war, in a sense.
00:13:22.620 You don't think we are.
00:13:23.980 Go walk down a street wearing a political shirt, describing yourself as a conservative.
00:13:29.560 You might almost call it a Great Reset.
00:13:32.800 Well, we certainly do.
00:13:34.320 And Episode 2, by the by, of the Great Reset docuseries has just dropped.
00:13:40.220 tposa.com slash reset.
00:13:42.280 Go check this out right now.
00:13:43.740 Make sure you see myself, the beautiful and lovely Tanya Tay Posovic,
00:13:47.300 the great Savannah Hernandez is in this thing, 0.91
00:13:50.180 and the incredible Morgan Zegers.
00:13:52.020 Plus, my brother, Kevin Poso, might just be in there a little bit.
00:13:54.860 Yes, murder capital of the United States, right here, New Orleans.
00:14:03.580 Our city has officially surpassed St. Louis as the murder capital of the country, according to the Wall Street Journal.
00:14:09.720 The double homicide in Tremay and the killing of a juvenile on Saturday night brings the 2022 homicide total to at least 209 as of yesterday.
00:14:20.480 New data from the Metropolitan Crime Commission reveals New Orleans is outpacing cities like Chicago and St. Louis,
00:14:28.380 cities infamously known for their crime and murder rates.
00:14:31.960 This year alone, homicides are now up 44% compared to 2021.
00:14:37.880 And keep in mind, the crime crisis continues to grow,
00:14:40.960 and it happens at the time when the city's police force is experiencing a major staffing shortage.
00:14:48.720 Ah, the city of New Orleans.
00:14:51.480 The Big Easy.
00:14:53.460 You know, I'm going to say it right now.
00:14:55.200 I've never been a huge fan of New Orleans.
00:14:56.760 Personally, my favorite southern city has always been Savannah.
00:15:01.300 Yes, that's right.
00:15:03.200 Savannah.
00:15:03.740 I'm talking about Savannah Hernandez.
00:15:05.060 That's Savannah with one N. 1.00
00:15:06.220 I'm talking about the city of Savannah in Georgia.
00:15:08.720 I think it's beautiful.
00:15:09.840 I think it's amazing.
00:15:10.900 Look, we all know New Orleans has that nice quarter, that one nice quarter, but that's just one part of the city.
00:15:16.040 The rest of the city, eh, not a huge fan.
00:15:19.160 Big fan of Savannah.
00:15:20.420 We try to stop every time we're in town, every time we're going up 95 or something, which has happened a couple of times.
00:15:26.760 And we're going to get a flight home from the last CPAC, so we had to drive up.
00:15:30.860 When we started the night in Savannah, it's also a little bit of history there.
00:15:34.240 And not to go too far down the tangent, but then again, you are watching Human Events Daily.
00:15:38.180 So that's what we do here, that it was the great Polish hussar, Kashmir Pulaski, who came and trained the American cavalry in the Revolutionary War, actually died in the Battle of Savannah.
00:15:53.060 And so his grave is in one of the squares right in Pulaski, or excuse me, right in Savannah, Pulaski Square.
00:15:58.400 And so we always go, we just kind of, you know, like when you're Polish, growing up in the United States, you know, you gotta, look, the Italians have Columbus, the Poles have Pulaski.
00:16:07.280 You know what I'm saying?
00:16:07.660 But here's what's going on down in New Orleans.
00:16:11.640 New Orleans has now been named the murder capital of America.
00:16:14.120 Congratulations.
00:16:14.960 Here's a pat on the back.
00:16:16.600 Give yourselves.
00:16:17.400 There you go.
00:16:18.940 Wonderful.
00:16:19.740 Because the bodies are dropping in every major city in the United States.
00:16:23.220 But New Orleans, you're currently number one.
00:16:25.440 Good job.
00:16:26.400 You did it.
00:16:26.900 So the police there are saying that they're so inundated with crime in the streets, they have to hire civilians to do police work in the wake of a cop exodus.
00:16:40.220 By the way, this is one of those things that they'll do to try to to try to claim.
00:16:44.980 They say, oh, well, you know, it's what about the murders in in red states are actually higher.
00:16:51.080 And says, well, yeah, but it's blue cities in those red states.
00:16:53.740 So, yeah, Louisiana is a red state, but not New Orleans.
00:16:58.080 St. Louis is the same deal in Missouri.
00:16:59.980 Missouri is a red state, but not St. Louis.
00:17:02.240 Right.
00:17:02.600 So this is what they do over and over again.
00:17:05.500 And by the way, when you look at those those other states out there like New York or Illinois, great examples, huge, massive swaths of red area.
00:17:13.940 But the population of the main cities are so big or one just city, just one city in Illinois.
00:17:19.300 It really just kind of swings the entire state.
00:17:21.020 So we're hearing now.
00:17:24.400 The New Orleans Police Department superintendent says, as we take over the phone, take calls over the phone, there may be some evidence that needs to be collected with that call.
00:17:32.440 We'll have civilian investigators then go out and collect evidence instead of having an officer go out there.
00:17:38.340 So you've got a higher contract.
00:17:40.400 They're contracting out the police work in New Orleans because it's gotten so bad.
00:17:45.640 And here's this is this.
00:17:49.680 It's the same problem across the country, right?
00:17:52.240 Go and look at one of these other leaders in the world.
00:17:56.520 And how they deal with problems.
00:17:58.380 And they'll tell you it's very simple.
00:18:00.320 It's very, very simple.
00:18:02.020 How did you deal with crime in your country?
00:18:04.940 We locked up the criminals.
00:18:07.220 How did you deal with the drug dealers?
00:18:09.980 We put them away.
00:18:11.920 In some cases, they got the death penalty.
00:18:14.040 It was egregious enough.
00:18:15.580 How did you deal with immigration?
00:18:17.980 We closed our borders.
00:18:20.120 No issue.
00:18:21.300 The mass immigration never happened.
00:18:23.460 We pushed back on the EU, whatever it was, right?
00:18:25.960 Like Italy's doing right now. 0.90
00:18:28.480 These problems are not new.
00:18:32.140 These problems do not have or require complex solutions.
00:18:36.420 They simply require solutions that might be a little anti-woke, might be a little not so
00:18:42.520 politically correct, but they're simple, they're effective, they're time-tested, and
00:18:48.000 they work.
00:18:48.840 We need to take back control of our cities.
00:18:52.160 But until then, I don't recommend that you or your family go anywhere near there.
00:18:57.940 We want their country to build our way of ease and kept them enslaved and living in fear. 0.95
00:19:06.240 Terrorism.
00:19:07.320 We bombed Grenada and killed innocent civilians, babies, non-military personnel. 0.95
00:19:13.640 We bombed the black civilian community of Panama with stealth bombers and killed unarmed 1.00
00:19:19.520 teenagers and toddlers, pregnant mothers and hard-working fathers. 0.98
00:19:23.460 We bombed Gaddafi's home and killed his child. 0.96
00:19:26.680 Blessed are they who bash your children's head against Iraq. 1.00
00:19:30.260 We bombed Hiroshima. 0.98
00:19:32.040 We bombed Nagasaki. 0.89
00:19:33.660 And we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon.
00:19:37.760 And we never batted an eye. 0.80
00:19:40.240 We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans.
00:19:45.200 And now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back
00:19:51.760 into our own front yards.
00:19:56.420 America's chickens are coming home to roost.
00:20:02.160 I kind of miss Jeremiah Wright.
00:20:04.740 Don't you guys, don't you miss Jeremiah Wright a little bit?
00:20:07.240 You guys remember him.
00:20:08.640 He's the guy that officiated Barack Obama's wedding and Michelle Obama baptized his children,
00:20:14.620 the girls.
00:20:15.860 And that was their pastor for something, what, like 30 years, 20 years until Barack Obama
00:20:21.140 disavowed him when he was running for president in 2008.
00:20:24.880 But you listen to that, that guy, he knows how to cut a promo, right?
00:20:27.660 Am I right?
00:20:28.300 Am I right and wrong?
00:20:29.180 That's a heel right there. 1.00
00:20:30.440 If you're going to go, you got to go hard.
00:20:32.540 I never forgot that.
00:20:33.540 America's chickens are coming home to roost, right?
00:20:38.600 Just you got it.
00:20:39.260 You got to nail it, right?
00:20:40.360 The guy just sells it.
00:20:42.200 And of course, Barack Obama said he never heard any of those things, even though we sat
00:20:44.920 in the front row for all those years.
00:20:46.220 Well, the question becomes the war on terror.
00:20:50.260 And that's what we're talking about today.
00:20:51.240 So there's a new piece out from the Institute for Peace and Diplomacy, and it's written
00:20:58.400 by the great Max Abrams, and the title is The Benefits of Counterterrorism Restraint in
00:21:02.940 a Diminished Terrorism Threat Environment.
00:21:04.920 And the question is, it actually starts to get into the benefits of the war on terror.
00:21:10.200 Should the U.S. and its allies use kinetic operations to counterterrorism threats?
00:21:16.900 No foreign policy question has been more important since the September 11th attacks, particularly
00:21:21.160 when it comes to formulating Middle East policy.
00:21:23.720 In rare cases, the urgency of the threat answers this question.
00:21:26.960 The decision to go after al-Qaeda in Afghanistan was a no-brainer.
00:21:31.080 Replace George W. Bush with any other American president, and the response would have essentially
00:21:34.740 been the same.
00:21:35.760 Although the 20-year occupation of Afghanistan would not have happened under different American
00:21:41.920 leadership, the decision to target al-Qaeda's leaders after the worst terrorist attack in
00:21:46.580 history was automatic, inevitable, and wise.
00:21:48.260 The same is true of the decision to target the Islamic State once the group was attacking
00:21:52.360 thousands of foreign fighters from around the world.
00:21:54.600 But today, the international terrorism threat is not blinking red, making our counterterrorism
00:22:00.040 response less clear.
00:22:02.660 And so the point is, I think this is very interesting.
00:22:05.080 So it kind of gets into this idea of when do you want to put boots on the ground as opposed
00:22:09.860 to deploying drone strikes or using special operations?
00:22:13.500 And I really think that we've gotten to this point, certainly al-Qaeda, ISIS, their shadows
00:22:17.740 of their former selves, Somalia, right?
00:22:20.660 The terrorists there, Syria. 0.97
00:22:23.120 Do these operations directly benefit the homeland?
00:22:27.080 Compare that to the narco-terrorist organizations operating on our southern border.
00:22:31.440 So I commend Max Davins for always being a voice for truth and a voice for honesty and a
00:22:37.480 voice simply for sanity in an increasingly insane world coming forward and saying, no, we don't
00:22:46.180 need to invade the world.
00:22:47.320 We don't need to be the world police, but we should have to look after our own interests
00:22:51.800 rather than trying to occupy the entire rest of the world.
00:22:55.180 And that's all the time we have today, Human Events Daily.
00:23:01.820 Remember, as always, our promise, our oath, our solemn vow to you, be good, be brief, be
00:23:05.020 gone.
00:23:05.240 Your homework for us, clear this out with one, just one of your normie friends, then leave
00:23:08.220 us your five-star review.
00:23:09.720 Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts.
00:23:12.520 One other piece of homework I want to give you guys, by the way, the FBI whistleblower from
00:23:17.320 Turning Point USA.
00:23:18.620 New interview is out.
00:23:19.840 So you go to tpusa.com.
00:23:21.400 You check that out right now, immediately.
00:23:23.360 Absolutely, absolutely explosive.
00:23:25.320 He talks about how the current FBI is targeting the patriots.
00:23:29.980 Check it out.
00:23:30.500 tpusa.com.
00:23:31.420 It's up on Rumble.
00:23:32.640 What do we talk about today?
00:23:34.540 European leaders announced that the Nord Stream pipelines were exploded, were destroyed,
00:23:40.200 essentially, in a deliberate attack.
00:23:42.420 Next, the North Dakota man who killed a teenager claiming that he was a Republican extremist is
00:23:47.840 out on low bond, no house arrest, of course, not locked up like J6. 0.50
00:23:51.220 Third, New Orleans, the murder capital of America.
00:23:53.580 Hiring civilians to do the work that the police can't handle or the police are inundated
00:23:59.860 with.
00:24:00.200 And then finally, a new research paper out questioning the benefits of the war on terror.
00:24:04.560 How should we conduct ourselves going forward?
00:24:07.140 We have to deal with threats.
00:24:08.040 We have to defend our country.
00:24:09.160 But we have to understand that what we're doing, what we're doing, could create more problems.
00:24:16.500 If someone's a threat to you, a direct threat to you, an imminent threat to you, then you
00:24:21.720 respond with force.
00:24:23.660 But in these other instances, come on.
00:24:26.700 Let's be serious.
00:24:30.260 But today's history moment is really interesting.
00:24:33.640 This one, French scholar, Jean-Francois Chapion.
00:24:37.040 This day, 1822.
00:24:38.560 Because we have to understand our history, we have to understand if we're going to defend
00:24:42.280 the West, we have to defend Western civilization and defend the achievements, the deciphering
00:24:47.720 of the Egyptian Rosetta Stone, the hieroglyphics, thanks to Emperor Napoleon's invasion of Egypt.
00:24:55.740 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:24:58.380 Thank you very much.
