00:00:46.740 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by Turning Point USA.

00:00:51.880 Today is 13 October 2022. Anno Domini.

00:00:56.000 Today's top headlines, an update.

00:00:59.140 Saudi Arabia has publicly rejected Biden's demands to lower the oil price before U.S. elections.

00:01:05.740 Next, outrage as Daryl Brooks.

00:01:08.160 You remember that guy drove the car.

00:01:10.080 He's cross-examining witnesses of the Christmas parade Waukesha massacre while he represents himself.

00:01:17.580 Third, CCP triads have now been exposed as laundering money for the drug cartels.

00:01:24.720 We've got a specific guy who calls himself Wan Lee.

00:01:27.700 And then finally, Alex Jones.

00:01:30.220 The regime is using Alex Jones to crush freedom of dissent.

00:01:35.440 All this and we're ahead, Human Events Daily.

00:01:37.280 The government of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia would like to clarify that based on its belief in the importance of dialogue

00:01:52.900 and exchange of views with its allies and partners outside of OPEC+,

00:01:55.840 regarding the situation in the oil markets, the government of the kingdom clarified through its continuous consultation with the U.S. administration

00:02:02.140 that all economic analyses indicate that postponing the OPEC-plus decision for a month,

00:02:07.640 according to what has been suggested, would have had negative economic consequences.

00:02:11.980 Brian, again, it's a really straight question.

00:02:13.760 Did you ask the Saudis to delay that decision for a month?

00:02:17.660 Are they telling the truth or not?

00:02:18.840 Look, I'm not going to I'm not going to to get on on air and disclose private conversations that members of our administration have got the opportunity to say it's true or not.

00:02:29.840 Is it true or not?

00:02:30.580 What I will say what I will say what I will say clearly is that the communications that we've had with OPEC members and continuing

00:02:37.120 have been based on our assessment of the economic circumstances of supply and demand in global oil. 0.93

00:02:43.020 So that's Brian Deese, the deranged idiot at the White House, their economic counsel, saying it's not because of the midterms. 0.99

00:02:51.220 It's because of an ongoing conversation that was shut up. 1.00

00:02:54.980 We know what you're doing.

00:02:56.960 OK, you've been caught.

00:02:58.440 And more to the point, you've been caught by not just human events daily, though we were one of the first outlets in the entire world to connect the dots on this and lay out how what Biden's done here,

00:03:13.280 what he admitted to Jake Tapper in that interview, that Jake Tapper is too much of an airhead to understand when he said it to his face.

00:03:19.660 He then backed up Rokohana and Blumenthal when they said that they were going to look at cutting the congressionally approved military aid package to Saudi Arabia if the Saudis don't lower the gas price before the midterm elections.

00:03:39.080 You get it, right?

00:03:40.300 Because if they pump more, then that means the price of oil is going to go down on the global market and that price of gas is going to go down.

00:03:49.900 And then hopefully what Biden wants, obviously, is to do better in the elections.

00:03:54.900 He's coercing a U.S. ally.

00:03:57.980 And I'm going to set aside the issue of whether or not we should be doing arms sales with Saudi Arabia in the first place, because that's what we're talking about here.

00:04:05.500 What we're talking about, the fact is that he's admitted this publicly and now they're trying to do everything.

00:04:11.620 Again, you saw Deese up there, by the way, Brian Deese, where does he come from?

00:04:14.300 Oh, right.

00:04:15.020 The global head of sustainable investing for BlackRock.

00:04:20.420 He's one of the ESG guys.

00:04:22.000 That's exactly who Brian Deese is.

00:04:23.420 Doesn't even have a background in economics.

00:04:25.620 He's an Obama guy before that.

00:04:26.860 So when we talk about the great global reset, which you can watch, by the way, this Sunday evening, 7 p.m. Eastern, here on Real America's Voice, as part of the two-hour POSO block every Sunday night, we'll talk about that in great detail.

00:04:42.580 But when we published this last night, the Saudis put out their own statement, a scathing statement, where you can find this.

00:04:50.040 And I was waiting for the fact check.

00:04:51.280 I was waiting for everything.

00:04:52.180 I was waiting for the media to come after me, come after Human Events Daily like they always do.

00:04:55.700 What do we have?

00:04:56.860 Top of Daily Mail, top of Associated Press, top of the Wall Street Journal.

00:05:01.060 Every single one of them is backing up Human Events because we were first and now they're all forced to admit it.

00:05:07.840 Here's from Daily Mail.

00:05:09.020 Saudis released bombshell statement saying Biden did try to delay oil production cuts until after the midterms in a desperate bid to avoid gas prices spiking.

00:05:21.900 From the Associated Press.

00:05:23.500 Saudis say U.S. saw one month delay of OPEC plus production cuts.

00:05:28.900 And I can just read from the article right here.

00:05:30.560 It's very simple.

00:05:31.780 Saudi Arabia said the U.S. had urged it to postpone a decision by OPEC and its allies to cut oil production by a month.

00:05:38.320 Such a delay would have helped reduce the spike in gas prices ahead of the U.S. midterms next month.

00:05:43.120 A statement issued by the Saudi foreign ministry didn't specifically mention the November 8th elections in which U.S. President Joe Biden is trying to maintain his narrow majority in Congress.

00:05:52.460 However, it stated that the U.S. suggested that the cuts be delayed by a month.

00:05:57.600 Now they've announced the cuts are going to continue.

00:06:00.880 What we're witnessing is the collapse of the Anglo-American financial influence on world markets.

00:06:08.580 This is the petrodollar that you're seeing crumble before your eyes.

00:06:12.240 You may not realize it, but you're in a fourth turning.

00:06:15.620 The Saudis realize it. 0.99

00:06:16.940 The Russians realize it. 0.96

00:06:18.280 The White House.

00:06:18.900 They still think that they get to call the shots.

00:06:21.900 But you, Joe Biden and Brian Deese, you drained our strategic oil reserve over the summer to help with your sagging approval ratings.

00:06:32.980 And now the Saudis have caught you. 1.00

00:06:35.580 You won't allow U.S. energy production.

00:06:39.040 So they are going to use this leverage to come after you, to come after the United States and to come after the U.S. dollar. 1.00

00:06:46.460 You feckless moron. 1.00

00:06:49.200 You've put us in this position and you've mortgaged away our children and our grandchildren's future. 1.00

00:06:58.420 Friends, conflicts around the world are becoming more and more dangerous.

00:07:02.600 So let me ask you a question.

00:07:03.780 Are you prepared now if the unthinkable happens?

00:07:07.220 In the other words, do you have a good stockpile of emergency food on hand?

00:07:52.500 The link is in the description.

00:07:53.640 Again, I do not consent or agree to being called that name.

00:08:00.420 Your lack of consent is noted.

00:08:02.940 I would note, though, you've not provided me with a different name.

00:08:08.260 Number one.

00:08:09.060 Number two, every inmate communication form has the name Daryl Brooks Jr.

00:08:13.000 So I like to refer to the defendants by their name, frankly, out of respect for them, to not continually use defendant over and over again.

00:08:25.460 Not that that would be improper.

00:08:27.340 It's just a practice.

00:08:28.780 No disrespect taken whatsoever, Your Honor.

00:08:31.140 And for the record, I still would not consent to that name or agree to that name.

00:08:47.680 No disrespect taken whatsoever.

00:08:50.820 Your position is noted.

00:08:52.700 So what you're seeing here, and this is a story that I think a lot of the mainstream media has just totally forgotten about.

00:08:59.320 Now, kudos, by the way, to law and crime, because law and crime is actually showing this.

00:09:04.300 I have a double check of Court TV as well.

00:09:06.240 I love Court TV.

00:09:07.200 I really do find their coverage to be very neutral, very unbiased when they do it.

00:09:14.080 And then it also gives you a great legal analysis.

00:09:16.280 So huge kudos to Court TV out there.

00:09:18.560 But we're looking at this guy, Daryl Brooks.

00:09:23.180 Daryl Brooks, mind you, we know what he's on trial for.

00:09:27.380 He was indisputably the driver of the red SUV that plowed into a crowd at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, intentionally.

00:09:38.440 This was a terrorist attack.

00:09:40.660 Brooks killed children. 0.84

00:09:44.000 He killed the elderly. 0.92

00:09:45.640 He targeted everyone who was there.

00:09:47.860 However, now that the trial is on, he's representing himself.

00:09:53.880 And because he's representing himself, he's now cross-examining the victims as they take the stand.

00:10:01.640 Listen to some of these questions that he's saying, again, to the victims, dance coaches, high school coaches, parents, people who were there, people who were injured,

00:10:12.680 people who saw their children, flung 15 feet into the air because of this terrorist's SUV.

00:10:21.220 He goes up and says, well, maybe your injuries weren't so bad.

00:10:25.240 Would it be fair to say that you're moving pretty good today?

00:10:28.100 Would it be fair to say you're walking pretty good these days?

00:10:30.860 Would it be fair to say, though, that maybe because he sustained his concussion, you don't remember much from the event?

00:10:37.400 And, you know, this witness did not identify you.

00:10:41.600 The points aren't brought up.

00:10:43.840 The judge is objecting.

00:10:46.060 Well, the prosecution is objecting to all of us.

00:10:47.440 The judge is throwing all of this out there.

00:10:48.800 But let me bring something up.

00:10:54.820 How far have we fallen as a country where we allow stuff like this to go on day after day?

00:11:01.280 This man drove himself into this parade.

00:11:09.120 Now, I do believe, and this is, it's emotional, so you have to set the emotions aside.

00:11:14.760 I do believe that everyone deserves a fair trial.

00:11:17.640 And I'm going to say that even for Daryl Brooks.

00:11:19.920 I will.

00:11:21.260 He deserves a fair trial.

00:11:24.140 But at the same time, are we as a country going to get serious?

00:11:29.380 This guy's on video.

00:11:32.980 This guy was identified by witness after.

00:11:36.020 They saw him driving.

00:11:37.440 The police officer saw them.

00:11:39.180 They said, yeah, that's him.

00:11:40.200 That's Daryl.

00:11:40.820 He did this.

00:11:43.460 And I guarantee you, you will have, before the end of this case, someone come up and say, well, it's terrible that he did that, but I forgive him.

00:11:52.420 It's terrible that this guy's remorseless.

00:11:56.500 He doesn't care that he did this.

00:11:57.980 And yet you're going to come out and say, oh, I forgive him.

00:12:01.400 Because I guarantee you it'll happen.

00:12:02.820 It's happening all over the country.

00:12:03.760 You hear it time and again.

00:12:05.400 Right down in Georgia.

00:12:06.700 That quarterback that was just murdered at a shopping mall.

00:12:09.480 His parents came out.

00:12:10.220 Girlfriend came out.

00:12:10.780 Oh, we forgive him, guys.

00:12:11.920 We forgive him.

00:12:13.040 Hope nothing too bad happens to them.

00:12:17.800 Our society has become weak.

00:12:20.020 We've become neutered.

00:12:20.960 We've become over socialized, feminized.

00:12:26.220 And we've gotten away from the point of what the criminal justice system is.

00:12:31.520 It is justice.

00:12:32.880 The facts here are not very much in dispute.

00:12:35.240 The only thing in dispute is whether or not he intended to attack that crowd.

00:12:40.660 But the fact that he did, extremely well documented.

00:12:43.760 I argue that it was intentional.

00:12:46.240 These prosecutors are treating this case like a joke.

00:12:50.180 They're not taking it seriously.

00:12:51.480 And this is a mockery of everything that is right and good in America.

00:12:58.500 Our smart enemies, like China, know that we'll just destroy ourselves. 1.00

00:13:04.100 And then they can walk right in.

00:13:05.700 The simple mind would say, oh, the Chinese are selling to the Mexicans to make money. 0.97

00:13:10.320 Yeah, that's the simple man's game.

00:13:12.820 That's checkers.

00:13:14.260 But they're not playing checkers.

00:13:16.060 That's just one piece for them.

00:13:17.880 Because they know that if I'm selling chemicals to the Mexicans who currently supply the U.S. 0.99

00:13:23.120 And if we make that switch to opioids and we can now get an addicted nation and we can destroy their youth, which is what is happening.

00:13:30.860 That is part of the end game of the destruction of ourselves.

00:13:35.820 They're in the long game.

00:13:36.940 Like they're not thinking five years.

00:13:38.600 They're thinking, OK, we're going to do this, this, this, this and this.

00:13:41.540 Because in 200 years, we're going to own that country.

00:13:44.400 Well, that's exactly right.

00:13:45.100 What you've just seen is a clip from Border Battle, the epic series from Turning Point USA, now available at Salem now.

00:13:54.140 So go to Salem now, watch Border Battle.

00:13:56.920 We've been doing a ton of promos for this.

00:13:58.880 I've been doing interviews on it because one of the pieces that is a six part docuseries.

00:14:04.440 And I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, producers, but I don't believe that episode has actually come out yet.

00:14:10.400 But what it is, it's an entire episode all about the ties between the CCP and the Mexican cartels.

00:14:19.000 So that episode is about to drop.

00:14:22.420 What we're seeing now, and there's a great piece that exemplifies this out of ProPublica today.

00:14:28.220 And the piece is titled, How a Chinese Gangster Transformed Money Laundering for Drug Cartels. 0.81

00:14:36.020 Let me tell you a little something about Mr. China Loa, Mr. Huan Li, a.k.a. Li Xizhi, Li Xizhi.

00:14:46.960 So Li Xizhi, otherwise known as Huan Li, was running something called the China Loa Money Laundering Syndicate.

00:14:57.300 Now, he's been arrested and he's been sentenced to 15 years in prison here in the United States.

00:15:03.860 But what people don't understand is the depths to which this operation went.

00:15:09.560 And by the way, we're not just talking about the fentanyl now.

00:15:11.500 We're talking about the money.

00:15:12.940 How do they get the money back?

00:15:15.560 How do they get paid?

00:15:16.620 How do you get paid when you pay off and you're selling fentanyl to the drug cartels?

00:15:21.540 Well, guess what?

00:15:22.320 The CCP is working with their triad frontmen in order to do this.

00:15:26.920 I want to explain this so people can understand that drugs are, by and large, illegal in China.

00:15:33.160 Hard drugs, you can't get them, right?

00:15:35.760 Drug dealers, and President Trump talks about this all the time, they're given the death penalty in China.

00:15:40.520 And they're very cavalier about it.

00:15:42.240 They're very easy to give this out.

00:15:43.980 They give out the death penalty so much in China, they actually have a mobile death penalty van that goes from prison to prison.

00:15:49.920 Just load the prisoner in, lethal injection, boom, off to the next one.

00:15:54.640 So if you're caught dealing drugs in China, boom, you're done.

00:15:57.080 And everybody knows it.

00:15:57.900 But when it comes to dealing drugs overseas, and this is exactly what Border Battle talks about, when it comes to guys like Mr. China Loa, Wan Li.

00:16:08.820 Not only does the CCP allow it, the CCP supports it.

00:16:15.780 So when something's going on in China, the CCP knows exactly what's going on.

00:16:20.200 They're behind it.

00:16:21.480 They allow it.

00:16:22.680 And the CCP, even going back to the days of Chairman Mao, always had deals with the triads.

00:16:28.400 You keep operating overseas, or in the Hong Kong Delta, Southeast Asia, and we'll let you maintain your property here within the People's Republic.

00:16:40.160 We're talking about tens of millions of dollars that was laundered by just this one guy, this one syndicate, the China Loa syndicate, and Wan Li.

00:16:52.320 You think the CCP didn't know about that?

00:16:54.180 So here's how it worked.

00:16:54.900 The DA has got this guy on video.

00:16:56.140 He would meet, or his agents would meet, with cartel members in Chinatowns across the United States, particularly Chicago.

00:17:05.560 They would go walk in with their suitcases full of money, but that money's dirty.

00:17:08.900 So what happens then?

00:17:10.600 He gets the money.

00:17:11.920 He gets the payoff.

00:17:13.280 And they have him on video because their surveillance DEA was actually watching this.

00:17:16.940 We'll see if Netflix makes a series out of this one, by the way.

00:17:20.600 Then, pick up the phone.

00:17:22.100 He'd call back to his other network agents in China, and he'd say, okay, now release the funds.

00:17:30.120 So clean money would be transferred from those bank accounts through China, through Macau, and then on down into Mexico and Latin America without any direct connection to the cartels.

00:17:44.040 So we'd never have any idea where it came from.

00:17:48.140 That's how you keep the money separate.

00:17:50.080 That's why you need human intelligence.

00:17:51.680 That's why you need the DEA.

00:17:53.080 But understand, to them, this is the third opium war, and they're flooding us with fentanyl.

00:17:59.300 An emotional moment in a Connecticut court Wednesday as a jury ordered right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones to pay nearly $1 billion in damages to families of the victims of the Sandy Hook mass shooting for falsely claiming they were actors who faked the tragedy.

00:18:18.040 For over a month in this courthouse, this jury bore witness to Alex Jones' 10-year attack on the family standing behind him.

00:18:30.440 An attack that made him very rich.

00:18:33.820 An attack that exploited the fears and resentments of his audience.

00:18:41.560 An attack that targeted these families.

00:18:44.120 They want to scare everybody away from freedom and scare us away from questioning Uvalde and what really happened there or Parkland or any other event.

00:18:54.480 And guess what?

00:18:54.960 We're not scared and we're not going away and we're not going to stop.

00:18:59.180 And literally, for hundreds of thousands of dollars, I can keep them in court for years.

00:19:04.160 I can appeal this stuff.

00:19:05.660 We can stand up against this travesty, against the billions of dollars they want.

00:19:09.320 It's a joke.

00:19:10.560 So the regime has come for Alex Jones.

00:19:12.880 They always start with Alex Jones when it comes to these things.

00:19:16.660 And the question is, do they really care about what Alex Jones said or did they want to destroy Alex Jones?

00:19:26.820 Now, I think the answer is obvious, right?

00:19:29.400 To anyone with a right thinking mind.

00:19:31.520 That they want to take him down because he's a dissident.

00:19:37.340 And The Guardian, by the way, if you go to TheGuardian.com right now, you can see Simon Jenkins.

00:19:45.300 And what does old Simon have to say this morning?

00:19:46.940 He says, only proper online regulations can stop poisonous conspiracists like Alex Jones or Simon Jenkins.

00:19:55.700 But the question is, who gets to determine this?

00:20:01.520 Who's allowed to define what reasonable freedom of speech is and what these limits are?

00:20:07.200 Well, Simon says that he does.

00:20:08.920 Obviously, the government does.

00:20:10.920 Like you saw the founder of Rolling Stone just say on Joe Rogan.

00:20:13.980 It's as simple as this.

00:20:16.700 The First Amendment is unique in the world.

00:20:18.740 Most countries don't have that.

00:20:19.800 I think the United States is the only country that has this, right?

00:20:23.140 This enshrined freedom of speech in our highest law.

00:20:28.280 That's what they want to take away, particularly when it comes to online regulations,

00:20:34.300 because they know that's the new digital public square.

00:20:37.080 That's where people are.

00:20:37.800 That's where people find themselves.

00:20:39.560 So what do they want to do?

00:20:41.120 They want to take away your ability to speak freely.

00:20:44.840 Now, they can lie whenever they want.

00:20:47.520 And I'm not even going to just talk about in generalities, like weapons of mass destruction or any of these things.

00:20:55.060 But what I will point out is that Rachel Maddow in 2019 lied about One America News and said that they took money from Russia.

00:21:03.600 Just a blatant lie.

00:21:04.880 She had no proof and she knew it was lies, malicious.

00:21:06.500 The courts threw that out because they said Rachel Maddow's show is obviously opinion.

00:21:15.320 And even when she is exaggerating, she cannot be held liable for her opinions and exaggerations.

00:21:24.220 It's not hypocrisy, though.

00:21:26.720 It's hierarchy.

00:21:27.700 There's one freedom of speech standard for people like Rachel Maddow and another freedom of speech standard for Alex Jones.

00:21:35.700 That's why you need to see conservative leaders who are so terrified to stand up, say we're not going to allow this crackdown on dissent.

00:21:46.000 We're not going to allow this episode to enshrine online regulations or any speech regulations in our country when it comes to politics.

00:21:56.520 We are not doing that and we don't stand for it.

00:22:26.520 Brooks, the crazed driver, is cross-examining witnesses of the Christmas parade Waukesha massacre.

00:22:33.820 Third, CCP triads laundering money for the drug cartels, just like we told you about in border battle.

00:22:40.960 And then finally, the regime is using Alex Jones to crush freedom of dissent.

00:22:45.960 We saw this before with the online bannings. 0.99

00:22:47.880 They start with Alex Jones.

00:22:49.560 They take something that he said and then they say, we need to do this to protect society.

00:22:53.960 In the name of safety, we need to do this.

00:22:56.860 By the way, here's how simple it is.

00:22:59.900 You don't need to agree with everything that Alex Jones has ever said and done to say they'd agree with freedom of speech.

00:23:07.280 It's the principle, okay?

00:23:09.080 It's the principle of our country, a principle that was so important that the founding fathers enshrined it in the First Amendment.

00:23:18.000 It's actually the first one.

00:23:19.300 Got the second one there, too.

00:23:20.640 Also a very nice one.

00:23:21.700 But before we go today, it's time for today's history break.

00:23:26.120 Very special one for me because today in 1775, the United States Navy, oh yeah, my beloved Navy, was born after the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, authorized the acquisition of a fleet of ships.

00:23:42.560 Booyah, U.S. Navy.

00:23:45.000 Also a special shout-out to my brother, erstwhile co-host here on Human Events Daily.

00:23:49.760 Whenever we go overseas, we bring Kev on.

00:23:51.600 It is Kevin's birthday, so congrats to him, my partner in crime, from day number one.

00:23:56.500 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
