Sam Bagman-Frieden is a 29-year-old crypto-dividend millionaire who is accused of stealing millions of dollars worth of money from his own customers and using it to pay for his lavish lifestyle. Is it money laundering? Is it theft? Or is it something even worse? Join Jack and Alex as they break it all down.
00:00:00.000What is going on with the FTX scandal, and how does it tie back to Ukraine?
00:00:08.340Joining me to break down all of this is the great Primetime 99 himself, Mr. Alex Stein.
00:00:15.400But first, before we get into that, I want to remind you that AmFest tickets are on sale as we speak.
00:00:21.160Come see myself, Charlie Kirk, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Kylie McEnany, Candace Owens, and so many more.

00:00:45.220Sorry you had your chance. AmFest.com, promo code POSO.
00:00:59.180Sam is not a traditional billionaire because he believes in the concept of earn to give, which means his goal as a human is to make as much money as possible just to give it away.
00:01:13.740Earn to give. And that's exactly what he's doing.
00:01:17.520So let's say that you have $100 and you want to figure out what you can do with it to help the world.
00:01:23.280Earning to give is thinking about which causes, which charities save the most lives per dollar.
00:01:27.980This $100 can go as far as it possibly can to help the world.
00:01:31.200Last year, this 29-year-old guy donated $50 million.
00:01:37.440Next year, he's planning to donate $500 million a year.
00:01:43.160And next decade, he will probably give away more than $10 billion.
00:01:51.380The amount of good that you can do for the future of the world is really large.
00:01:56.400And it's way more than you can do to actually make yourself happy with anything like that amount of money.
00:02:02.680And he is funding everything you can think of.
00:04:39.840I said, man, these customers saying, I can't believe they were pilfering our own funds that we put in our own deposits.
00:04:46.020I said, boy, if you think that's bad, wait till you find out what actual banks do.
00:04:50.260Yeah, no, I mean, Jack, you nailed it.
00:04:52.020It's funny that that's the one support that I've seen him on the crypto bros that are defending it because, you know, they don't want to make crypto look bad.
00:04:57.660They said, well, if you guys are mad about this, you should see what actual banks do.
00:05:02.080And that is the problem, though, Jack.
00:05:03.620We're being run by multinational corporations.
00:05:05.520These banks that, you know, basically rule the world that cause us to fight these wars in the Ukraine and all over.
00:05:11.720They don't care about the American people.
00:05:13.320And I think what happened with FTX, if Sam Bakeman-Fried was really a philanthropist and cared about people.
00:05:18.640He wouldn't be robbing them and ripping them off to go save animal rights.
00:05:28.820So this this Ukraine deal and I've looked at a couple of pieces of it.
00:05:32.560And at first we thought they were investing in it.
00:05:34.560But then some people just said, well, no, it was actually just a way to donate.
00:05:37.640But the point is, this guy was clearly skimming funds from the entire thing.
00:05:42.240So at this point, it's starting to look like, OK, and I'm just going to put this out there and connect the dots money that was going to Ukraine.
00:05:52.760Then Ukraine turns around and says, OK, we're going to work with FTX.
00:05:56.540So the the funding that's coming from the U.S. taxpayer dollars, some of that is going to FTX.
00:06:02.540Then FTX has taken some of that, turning around and skimming it, donating it to the DNC for their election ballot harvesting operations that went on in 2022.
00:06:14.380And it turns out that the problem is that this guy now would have, by the way, we wouldn't have known about all of this if it weren't for the fact that this guy was
00:06:21.380skimming another bit for himself and instead of like it was it's 10 percent for the big guy.
00:06:26.800But in this case, it turns out there was another 10 percent for the little gal because he was also using it to prop up his girlfriend's hedge fund.
00:06:35.960Yeah. And then I believe her dad, you know, works for the SEC, I believe.
00:06:42.960So just the incestuous relationship of these people that are in power.
00:06:46.980And listen, that's why they use the crypto method, because they can wash this money and then we can't see, you know, the chain of command of where it came from.
00:06:53.820But anybody that has half a brain, Jack, they're going to they're going to expose this.
00:06:58.280But similar to the weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist in the Middle East, people are going to realize this is all a scam that's benefited the DNC.
00:07:04.740And they're not even going to care, Jack.
00:07:06.600Like, I would think more people would be outraged from being shut down for two years.
00:07:11.620So that's a sad, sad reality is that even though we have them caught red handed in a money laundering scheme that is basically, you know, subjugating American, you know, greatness.
00:07:22.920And nobody's going to do a dang thing about it, Jack.
00:07:26.160You know, it really is crazy that you look at a guy like this, cover a Forbes, cover a fortune the same way they put that girl from from Theranos.
00:07:38.760I was running a countdown to her sentencing, but it's yet to actually happen with this guy.
00:07:42.720I think the latest is that he he thought he was going to flee to Argentina like he was, you know, like what with all the secret Nazis and Adolf Hitler's lookalike down there.
00:07:51.620But it looks like they thought they were tracking a plane they thought was his, but I don't think it ended up making it there.
00:07:56.340They say he's under detention, but just, quote unquote, supervision in the Bahamas right now.
00:08:01.900I love the fact he comes out of nowhere, becomes the Democrats.
00:08:45.740You can take a demoralized person to the Soviet gulags and show them the gulags with their own eyes and they will deny accurate information if they have been properly demoralized.
00:08:59.600Coming up, Alex Stein and Yuri Bezmenov coming up next.
00:09:03.160And you and I have had a number of candid and useful conversations over the years and since I became president as well.
00:09:14.180You're kind enough to call me to congratulate me and I congratulate you as well.
00:09:18.180And I believe there's a little substitute, though, for to face to face discussions.
00:09:25.640And as you know, I'm committed to keeping the lines of communications open between you and me personally, but our governments across the board because our two countries are have so much that we have an opportunity to deal with.
00:09:39.660As the leaders of our two nations, we share responsibility, in my view, to show that China and the United States can manage our differences, prevent competition from becoming anything ever near conflict and to find ways to work together on urgent global issues that require our mutual cooperation.
00:10:03.040And I believe this is critical for the sake of our two countries and the international community.
00:10:10.900So President Biden just met with Xi Jinping and Alex, correct me if I'm wrong, but did he just congratulate Xi Jinping?
00:10:22.720Xi Jinping just became named leader essentially for life of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:10:28.300The first one we've had since Chairman Mao, there's this other video going around, by the way, of Biden walking around next to Trudeau and they're wearing the Chairman Mao, like the suit, the old Chairman Mao suit.
00:10:49.620Jack, I don't know why you're really surprised, because if you really look at our business dealings with China,
00:10:54.420we're so dependent on them for, you know, the industrialization that we lost.
00:10:59.120America was built on the Industrial Revolution.
00:11:01.320But unfortunately, Apple computers, instead of building their iPhones here in America, they build them in Shandong, China, the Shandong province of China.
00:11:08.180And there the conditions are so bad that they have actual suicide nets because so many employees are jumping off the roof.
00:11:14.580So my point is we could never produce that iPhone here in America.
00:11:18.020So Chinese, the China, excuse me, has us by the metaphorical basketballs, you know, because I don't want to be too crude.
00:11:24.600So, you know, they can give us the impression that we are in a competition with China, but we both rely on each other so much that we're actually in bed together, in my opinion, Jack.
00:11:33.400No, I mean, you're looking here, right?
00:11:35.380When I look at this, that's the junior partner meeting the senior partner, right?
00:21:57.780I believe that we should come to an agreement as human beings where people don't have to die.
00:22:02.660And I believe at the beginning of this conflict, all they had to do, all Ukraine had to do is admit that the Donbass region, there's going to be autonomous, where people can pick what country they want to live in.
00:22:24.340And I hate being the butt of all these international jokes.
00:22:27.800No, we sit there and tell the world to not do the very thing that we're doing ourselves.
00:22:34.240You know, they say, don't don't, you know, and meanwhile, to tie it back to what we were saying before, the money that we're sending is being apparently to an extent.
00:22:43.360And we're going to find out just how much of extent, and I hope, by the way, that the new Congress is able to dig into this, is going to FDX, which is finding its way into political campaign.
00:22:54.080And by the way, if that was going to Republicans, if that was going to conservatives, I would want that investigated.
00:23:00.180And I would want every single person responsible for that to be charged as well.
00:23:06.780And I think we're actually really popped off this Ukraine thing to tie it back into Elon.
00:23:11.240When Elon was just tweeting out what he thought, you know, just ways maybe we could solve this conflict in the way that the establishment got so threatened by this.
00:23:19.960Or even Vladimir Zelensky was, quote, tweeting it.
00:23:50.760They're not actually about helping and protecting people.
00:23:52.960They just want to constantly, constantly get fed money by our tax dollars so that they can survive.
00:23:58.540And they're not empathetic to the people that the money they're taking.
00:24:01.780You know, from the money that they're taking, they're not empathetic to the taxpayers.
00:24:04.800So you mean that these industries might, you know, I don't know, work together to potentially create conflict or to create some kind of disaster in order so that they can make money?
