00:05:08.140 working that shift in order to make extra money in order to pay for the wedding so initially and a

00:05:13.820 lot of what the kim kardashian side says it rodney reed was not the suspect in this crime like

00:05:18.780 there's accusations that he was framed that there was an affair that the cops are all in on it that

00:05:24.080 because the fiance was the cop yes that him he and his buddies you know you know rigged up the evidence

00:05:30.380 and made it look like it was him but but but it's important to note that even though the fiance was a

00:05:35.000 cop he was a cop in a different department than the town she was murdered in and because this

00:05:39.800 involved the fiance of a cop they actually involved the texas rangers in the investigation

00:05:43.620 so from the jump in order to have this like frame up job you need three different departments

00:05:48.660 coordinating and that just doesn't make a lot of sense but reed is not the suspect immediately for a

00:05:54.220 year they suspect the husband because our fiance because they always suspect the fiance and they

00:12:26.520 worked is that jones and his friend chris west side jordan were a carjacking duo they spotted a

00:12:32.200 suburban in a brahms parking lot in oklahoma that suburban belonged to a man named paul howe who took

00:12:37.720 his kids out for school supplies and took his kids to go get ice cream which is what brahms is for

00:12:43.580 he follows them home paul howe opens his car door jones open fires without saying a single word

00:12:50.020 kills paul howe instantly with a gunshot to the head in front of his two daughters and in front of his

00:12:55.180 sister they flee he fires upon them as they enter the house jones takes the suv on the daughters yes

00:13:01.820 the daughters and the sister jones takes the suv crushes paul howe's legs as he backs off steals the 0.78

00:14:17.880 than him and as you pointed out for a while they said the whole case hinged on dna right because

00:14:28.560 whole deal out of and this is this is kardashian and the innocence project these scam artists they

00:15:08.720 american male population now in 1999 when this crime took place there were only about 35 million

00:15:15.460 african american males 110 million yeah 110 million african american males there were only 35 million

00:15:20.720 african americans in the in the country at the time so it's him right and so for for folks and this is by

00:15:27.000 the way and we should talk about that for a second because when people hear statistics like that they

00:15:32.280 need to understand that's a dna match yeah and so this is the way dna matching is done it never comes

00:15:37.320 down and says oh this person is you know this is this person's dna it comes down to it statistically

00:15:43.460 must be this person because it could not match someone else it's it's the way that the nerds

00:15:48.420 talk which doesn't help us because you know people can use that and exploit that like they have in this

00:15:52.940 case so they say it cannot be excluded and then they give you odds so they're like oh well that's not

00:15:58.420 a match that just means cannot be excluded but it's like look at the odds it's that means it's a match

00:16:03.520 that's that's actually how you would describe it being a match and yet they will sit and but however

00:16:09.000 let's go forward because what happened in that case well eventually jones who was sentenced to

00:16:14.440 the death penalty got his sentence commuted by the governor based on a political campaign from

00:16:20.300 actually both sides of the aisle yes that supported him and bought into this narrative that julius jones

00:16:26.280 was the innocent and well it's not anything they bought into yeah because the innocence project and

00:16:31.580 people associated with this were running around with bags of money and they were just showering

00:16:36.760 people with donations and their associated organizations showering donations everywhere

00:16:42.800 they could to put pressure from both sides of the aisle on the governor and in this case the governor of

00:16:48.520 oklahoma governor stitt does end up buckling and and again by the way i have no problem if there is a

00:16:56.360 serious question about the case and if you want to commute something if you have an issue with the death

00:17:01.260 penalty etc because obviously we should not be using the death penalty lightly right however i have a

00:17:07.860 huge problem with organizations like this running around and playing these racially and politically

00:17:14.320 charged issues throwing them in into obviously we're in a highly charged political environment

00:17:20.620 um and then using these woke justice points to try to win over uh criminal cases i think i think that's a 0.95
