00:00:25.800 The Poso Daily Brief.
00:00:30.000 We are in a fifth generational conflict.
00:00:41.500 For every lie they tell, we're going to get in their face and yell two truths.
00:00:46.960 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:50.100 Christ is king.
00:00:50.940 August could prove an interesting month for South Africa.
00:00:54.760 We may face a global freezing out.
00:00:58.040 There is increasing pressure.
00:01:00.000 For South Africa to arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin.
00:01:03.700 Putin is welcome to you.
00:01:06.220 And no one is going to arrest Putin.
00:01:08.680 First of all, do you agree with the White House's stance there that Ukraine should stay away from striking inside of Russia?
00:01:14.940 I know the Ukrainians are disavowing some of these strikes, but I say more power to them.
00:01:19.740 This is how you take the fight to Russia itself.
00:01:22.260 And at Nellis Air Force Base, you had the drag you, Nellis, on June 17th.
00:01:27.500 Who funded these things, Mr. Secretary?
00:01:29.960 Listen, drag shows are not something that the Department of Defense supports or funds.
00:01:36.880 Pentagon leaders have stepped in to stop a drag show scheduled for tomorrow on Nellis Air Force Base,
00:01:41.600 the show in celebration of Pride Month, and was approved by Air Force leaders.
00:01:46.120 By documents investigation, sources telling CNN, federal prosecutors have obtained an audio recording of a summer 2021 meeting where the former president acknowledges he held on to a classified Pentagon document about a potential attack against Iran.
00:02:01.380 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events.
00:02:08.440 No monologue today, folks, because we've got to get into this.
00:02:12.200 More leaks out of the special counsel's office.
00:02:16.400 This is Jack Smith.
00:02:18.240 This relates to the Mar-a-Lago raid.
00:02:21.160 They claim now they got new evidence.
00:02:23.320 Now they got tapes.
00:02:24.800 They've got tapes of President Trump.
00:02:26.840 And they said that there was going to be an invasion of Iran and Trump saved the entire invasion plans.
00:02:31.480 But it turns out that he didn't actually allow an invasion of Iran.
00:02:36.500 Do you understand?
00:02:37.800 They're saying the quiet part out loud.
00:02:40.720 There was a secret plan to invade Iran and Trump stopped it.
00:02:46.400 That's what this is about.
00:02:47.560 But of course, they're going after him for making sure that he held on to the receipt of it.
00:02:53.660 Well, joining us to explain all of it, we've got Mike Davis from the Article 3 Project.
00:02:58.980 Mike, when you look at this, do these tapes actually change the situation as relates to the Mar-a-Lago raid, all of the stuff that we've seen so far?
00:03:09.400 Not at all.
00:03:10.580 And as I've been saying since August, Jack, the president is allowed to take his presidential records when he leaves office.
00:03:18.060 That is specifically allowed by the Presidential Records Act.
00:03:22.180 And Congress funds the office of former president.
00:03:25.860 It is very secure.
00:03:27.800 They get Secret Service protection.
00:03:29.460 They have secure compartmented information facilities or SCIFs.
00:03:33.620 They get federally funded staff.
00:03:35.540 They get federally funded office space.
00:03:37.140 That staff gets security clearances.
00:03:39.620 It is specifically allowed that presidents are allowed to take their presidential records.
00:03:44.920 And it does not matter whether the records are classified or not.
00:03:48.820 And that's what people keep missing.
00:03:50.480 Under the Presidential Records Act, it's any document created or received or received by the president or his White House staff.
00:04:00.360 So if the CIA sends a classified document to the White House, that is a presidential record.
00:04:07.000 And the president is allowed to take it.
00:04:08.620 Let me give you an example.
00:04:09.520 When President Clinton left office, he had 79 tapes, eight years of audio recordings of his presidency, including conversations with foreign leaders, highly classified material.
00:04:22.820 And he had this in his sock drawer.
00:04:24.840 And the Obama-appointed judge in D.C. correctly held that when a president leaves office and takes records with them, they are declassified and personal under the Presidential Records Act.
00:04:37.800 And so when President Trump took his records, when he left the White House, he's allowed to do that under the Presidential Records Act.
00:04:46.280 And it does not matter whether they're classified or not.
00:04:48.740 But, Mike, hold on, hold on.
00:04:52.220 We've got a tape now.
00:04:53.820 Apparently, Trump discusses the classified nature of the documents.
00:04:58.340 And you saw this was the lead, and we were clicking through.
00:05:02.060 So we'll go back, and I'm not going to sit and watch CNN, but we will go through the night before, or excuse me, the morning after and look at the night before.
00:05:09.560 And we'll take a peek at, okay, what were they talking about?
00:05:13.160 This was the lead of every single show on CNN last night.
00:05:17.120 It was covered extensively on MSNBC as well.
00:05:19.600 They're acting like this is the latest gotcha.
00:05:22.280 And I understand that this is a, it is a business.
00:05:25.820 It is a business strategy for them.
00:05:27.800 This is marketing.
00:05:28.960 They have this constituency of, like, suburban wine moms who just love the get Trump.
00:05:35.800 It's like that TV show Succession, which also CNN loved for some reason.
00:05:39.200 The Libs loved that show.
00:05:40.560 And they're like, no, this is what it is because we can't get them in real life.
00:05:44.060 We're going to get them in TV, but maybe we will get them in real life.
00:05:46.860 Do you really think this actually represents the game changer that CNN is trying to make it out to be?
00:05:53.160 I think the game changer, Jack, is when the FBI got caught with a document that evidenced that then Vice President Joe Biden took a $5 million foreign bribe from China and changed American policy.
00:06:07.600 And the FBI covered up for Joe Biden for many, many years.
00:06:11.080 And my former boss, Chuck Grassley, along with House Oversight Chairman James Comer, have the rats at the FBI cornered.
00:06:19.380 And so now that they're cornered and facing contempt and the FBI is finally admitting that, yes, this document deals with an allegation of a $5 million foreign bribe of then Vice President Joe Biden.
00:06:31.320 And magically, Garland's handpicked special counsel, Jack Smith, starts selectively leaking out from the Mar-a-Lago probe.
00:06:40.320 So I think that's a big part of the connection.
00:06:42.400 I also agree with you, Jack.
00:06:44.180 Another part of this is that President Trump dared to take on the military industrial complex when they were marching to war against Iran.
00:06:52.620 We've got about a minute and a half left.
00:06:57.420 Mike, what else can you tell us about this document, about the $5 million?
00:07:02.700 We haven't seen it, but I'm sure you've heard about it.
00:07:05.420 Your sources on the Hill are impeccable.
00:07:07.140 What are you hearing?
00:07:08.680 Well, I think when this document comes out, you're going to see a very credible source.
00:07:14.380 This whistleblower is making a very specific, incredible allegation that then Vice President Joe Biden took a $5 million bribe, foreign bribe from China, and he changed American policy.
00:07:28.220 And that lines up pretty well with the evidence that we've uncovered so far.
00:07:32.960 And there is a reason that the Biden Treasury Department is hiding these suspicious activity reports, these SARS reports with the Bidens.
00:07:42.700 The walls are closing in on the Bidens.
00:07:44.840 Will anything happen to them?
00:07:46.340 Who knows?
00:07:47.020 If we lived in a fair world, he would be impeached and removed from office or minimally chased out of office because we have a clearly compromised president of the United States who has shown in the past that he's willing to take high office and sell it out to our worst enemies for his personal gain.
00:08:07.820 All right.
00:08:08.440 A hundred percent.
00:08:09.260 Mike, thank you so much for joining us today.
00:08:10.960 I know you've got to bounce.
00:08:11.820 Thank you for your time.
00:08:12.700 Look, folks, when we're looking at this stuff, we have to understand, do we have a president of the United States that's actually compromised?
00:08:22.540 I want to see the document.
00:08:23.780 I want to see the background.
00:08:24.800 Stay tuned.
00:08:25.260 But we've got a big announcement next.
00:08:27.040 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:08:29.380 All right, folks.
00:08:32.320 We need to understand this about President Joe Biden because these documents and I'm going to be fair.
00:08:38.900 I'm going to be fair.
00:08:39.660 I've always said when it comes to one of these accusations, whether it's Trump, whether it's any other Republican, somebody on the right, show me the evidence.
00:08:46.680 So I want to see the evidence.
00:08:48.560 I want to see all the evidence.
00:08:49.840 I want to put this out there.
00:08:50.860 If a clandestine or confidential human source, CHS, got this information, $5 million on Biden, some kind of bribe, some kind of policy change when he was vice president, lay it all out for me.
00:09:01.800 What was his provenance?
00:09:03.780 Can we see the transfers?
00:09:05.140 Can we see the $5 million?
00:09:06.920 I want to see everything.
00:09:09.800 Show me evidence of the allegations because if this is true, how do you not impeach?
00:09:15.420 But I want to switch gears because we, and we promised this, we teased it earlier this week.
00:09:20.460 We've been teasing it all day.
00:09:21.380 We have the one, the only, my good friend, Scott Pressler joining us here today, Human Events, who's got and just made a massive announcement.
00:09:29.760 He's going to now tell the Human Events audience that same announcement.
00:09:33.220 Scott Pressler, welcome.
00:09:35.720 Oh, thank you so much for having me, Jack.
00:09:38.380 Yeah, breaking news.
00:09:39.780 As of one hour ago, I saw that you already tweeted about it.
00:09:44.200 Thank you.
00:09:45.440 We have announced today that I am partnering with Turning Point Action.
00:09:50.020 And the first commitment of the 2024 cycle is we are going to be working together for a $5 million investment in the swing battleground state of Wisconsin, focusing on voter registration, early voting, and building a ballot chasing operation so that when we have our candidate in 2024, that person will be able to win the presidency.
00:10:16.320 You know, we actually had, so we had Tyler on yesterday from Turning Point Action, and we were talking about the micro-targeting, the ballot chase operations, ballot harvesting, drop boxes where it's possible.
00:10:29.220 And I had kind of known that all of this was in the mix, but it was killing me because they said, oh, no, no, we're going to, you know, the ink isn't dry yet.
00:10:37.180 We're going to announce it tomorrow.
00:10:38.340 I'm like, Tyler, come on.
00:10:39.160 I want to tell everybody, but how will you be able to use this investment to build out a structure there in Wisconsin?
00:10:49.160 Well, everyone knows I've been doing this for a few years and bare bones.
00:10:54.660 I haven't had capital.
00:10:56.000 This is going to be a game-changing partnership with Turning Point Action, actually having funding that we can have offices in places like Kenosha, a swing county that currently doesn't have an office.
00:11:10.480 And it's going to be about hiring boots on the ground so that we can be at the Wisconsin State Fair this summer registering voters, getting people to sign up for mail-in ballots,
00:11:21.300 and going to Northwest Wisconsin, where, by the way, in the Supreme Court election, we had two feet of snow, talking about the value of early voting, of locking in your votes early for 2024.
00:11:34.660 This is going to be a game-changer.
00:11:36.760 So when we talked to Tyler about this yesterday, we went through this idea of micro-targeting and how that's something that actually can be done today,
00:11:47.240 that we can start already with boots on the ground, volunteers reaching out to people, putting these hours together,
00:11:53.060 also with the technology where possible to be able to plug this all in, because you've got to do the work of actually identifying the voters first.
00:12:01.300 Isn't that right?
00:12:03.180 Absolutely.
00:12:03.620 Well, that's something that people can do right now at this very second.
00:12:08.140 So in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, we have voter registration by party.
00:12:12.460 Now, there are 1.2 million unaffiliated voters in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
00:12:18.980 Pennsylvania is a closed primary state.
00:12:20.920 So if you're not registered as a Republican, you can't vote for Trump.
00:12:24.240 You can't vote for dissonance.
00:12:25.520 You can't vote for Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:12:27.960 And so if you go to Early Vote Action, our application that you can download either on iPhone or Android from your Play Store or Google Store,
00:12:39.220 you go to make phone calls and you will have the power to contact right now at this very second unaffiliated voters and do an official straw poll.
00:12:49.820 Hey, my name is Scott.
00:12:51.400 I'm asking, who would you vote for today if the presidential election were held?
00:12:55.380 Biden, Trump, RFK Jr., or DeSantis?
00:12:59.340 And if they indicate to us Trump or DeSantis, we have the opportunity to educate them to go to pavoterservices.pa.gov to change their party affiliation.
00:13:10.040 And that data is going to be so invaluable going into 2024, having that infrastructure in place.
00:13:19.480 You're exactly right, because Pennsylvania – now, I can always speak to Pennsylvania because that's my home state, my home Commonwealth – that in PA, it's a closed primary, which means – and most states are like this, by the way.
00:13:30.640 That means you do not have the opportunity to vote in the primary.
00:13:36.900 You cannot sway one way or the other.
00:13:38.700 You know, we've heard all the great arguments.
00:13:40.500 Oh, I like Trump because of this, this, and this, and other people saying, well, I'm taking a look at DeSantis because I like how he did in Florida, et cetera, et cetera.
00:13:46.000 Great.
00:13:46.580 But if you are not affiliated with the Republican Party, you do not get to actually have a say in that.
00:13:52.360 Only people who are registered are.
00:13:54.380 This is also – and, Scott, I know you remember as well as I – the great Rush Limbaugh had actually played his – you know what I'm going to say – his famous Operation Chaos back in 2008,
00:14:05.080 when he was having people in the Rush Limbaugh audience, his massive audience, register as Democrat so they could go and vote for Hillary to keep the fight up against Barack Obama.
00:14:15.460 That's the same exact system that we're talking about here, and that's why it's so important.
00:14:19.920 By the way, not months from now, not weeks from now, right now, you can be doing the work at home.
00:14:26.260 You can download this app, and I would encourage you to do so.
00:14:28.800 Scott, give us the coordinates again for that app.
00:14:32.720 Explain to people how it works.
00:14:33.700 Sure.
00:14:35.740 So you can go to your iPhone or Android, the Google Store or Play Store, type in early vote action.
00:14:44.320 It's going to show as the icon, it says EVA, and the V is like a checkmark, like you're voting.
00:14:52.840 And if you download the application, on the top left-hand corner, you're going to click on these arrows.
00:14:57.880 Then you're going to be directed to a page that says, make phone calls, register to vote, knock on doors, add a contact.
00:15:07.140 And by the way, any contact that you add is going to be saved on there, so you, who have built that relationship, will be able to follow up with that person.
00:15:17.240 But when you click on make phone calls, you're going to go, oh, it's awesome.
00:15:20.620 So that way we're actually relationship building, we're networking, and it's not Jack calling and Scott calling somebody else, you are that one.
00:15:30.320 And when you go to make phone calls, it's going to give you 25 unaffiliated voters for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
00:15:37.460 I've already been on there, and it's everyone.
00:15:39.760 It's young people, it's middle-aged, it's older.
00:15:42.680 And you're doing an official survey to ascertain the ideology of that person.
00:15:49.560 And if we find out they're a Republican, boom, pavoterservices.pa.gov.
00:15:55.440 And right now the Democrats have an advantage of 467,000 more Ds than ours.
00:16:00.820 For context, under Obama, that was 1.1 million.
00:16:04.480 So my goal is to help whittle down that number in states like Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, in preparation for 2022.
00:16:12.440 Scott, we are up against a break.
00:16:14.400 I don't want to cut you off.
00:16:15.460 Let me hold you over for another segment because this is so much important.
00:16:19.600 This is the information that everyone needs to know.
00:16:26.120 And we're back here.
00:16:26.980 Scott Pressler is detailing the $5 million investment, $5 million partnership with Turning Point Action that he was able to do.
00:16:37.340 Charlie Kirk, Tyler Boyer, who we had on yesterday, putting that all together.
00:16:41.820 This is key.
00:16:43.840 And by the way, so folks know, if you go to turningpointaction.com right now, there's also going to be the conference of the Turning Point Action Conference coming up later in the summer.
00:16:56.640 It'll be this July down in West Palm Beach.
00:17:00.100 Everyone from the entire country is coming.
00:17:02.460 President Trump will be speaking there.
00:17:04.340 You must come to this action conference.
00:17:06.540 In fact, Turning Point has actually decided to not hold the traditional Student Action Summit.
00:17:12.920 They've turned the entire thing over to action.
00:17:15.560 And, Scott, I think that's testament to you and the work that you've been doing and just the drum that you've been beating.
00:17:21.560 Sometimes the only voice out there in the wilderness reminding people about these special elections, these registrations.
00:17:27.780 And I think we've reached the breaking point where now even I think every mainstream candidate is now embracing this.
00:17:37.300 Thank you.
00:17:38.060 Well, and I'm proud to announce, Jack, breaking as well, that I will be a confirmed speaker at the Turning Point Action Conference on July 15th as well.
00:17:47.720 And this is all about action boots on the ground.
00:17:51.020 This is getting out the vote.
00:17:52.380 And so what is the pathway forward?
00:17:54.900 How are we actually going to win?
00:17:57.000 Here's what we need to do in states like Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia.
00:18:01.360 We need to register new Republican voters.
00:18:04.860 And in Wisconsin, I saw a statistic that 40 percent of hunters, Second Amendment voters are not registered to vote.
00:18:12.760 We need to get them on the voter rolls.
00:18:14.300 That's number two, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona.
00:18:19.000 This is conversion from unaffiliated to Republican.
00:18:22.720 Next, we need to get low propensity Republicans to vote by mail because if they're not going in person, well, let's have their ballot shipped to them.
00:18:33.000 Let's do ballot chasing and make sure that that paper ballot is locked in.
00:18:36.760 Next, we need to do an education campaign on the importance of early voting and why we need to lock in every single vote because the Democrats vote for weeks and Republicans vote for 12 hours.
00:18:49.520 We need to also engage with the Amish community.
00:18:53.260 Oh, my gosh.
00:18:54.000 Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, New York.
00:18:57.520 We have all of these Midwestern states that we have a healthy Amish community that we need to be engaging with because, for example, we turn out those 80,000 Amish in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
00:19:08.480 That is the election right there doing faith coalition building, Second Amendment coalition building boots on the ground and opening up offices in key swing battleground areas like Kenosha, engaging in Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Northwest Wisconsin.
00:19:27.820 That is how we're going to win, Jack.
00:19:31.440 You know, it's interesting you mentioned Kenosha.
00:19:33.500 So I've actually spent a good deal of time there for a completely separate issue, as everybody I'm sure remembers, the riots of 2020 and Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:19:44.560 This, of course, took place in Kenosha.
00:19:46.960 Kenosha was an area which, if I remember, they actually flipped red just very recently.
00:19:54.460 It had been blue, but then flipped red in response to that crime, in response to the lawlessness, in response to the insanity.
00:20:02.940 And one of the reasons that all of the prosecution was going after Kyle, they were trying to make him the face of all that, as if he's the one that was looting the town and marauding through the town and burning down the town.
00:20:13.400 No, it wasn't.
00:20:14.220 It was people that most largely, by and large, came up from Chicago.
00:20:17.820 And so the people of that area saw it and they decided they wanted to switch.
00:20:22.200 But I would go, I would take what you're saying and bring that up a second point.
00:20:26.000 You've got to be able to go to those people and say, this is how you do it.
00:20:30.440 You've got to lay it out for them.
00:20:31.800 And key areas of these key states, the Democrats have worked, Bill Evers, when he was governor, he still is governor.
00:20:37.940 They changed the laws and they changed the laws to make it easier for their activists to get out and vote.
00:20:43.220 Because guess what?
00:20:44.060 They're a generation ahead of us.
00:20:46.120 You are the one actually fighting fire with fire.
00:20:49.220 Well, and let's concentrate very briefly.
00:20:53.540 Everyone's talking about 2024.
00:20:55.840 With all due respect to winning back the presidency, this is an important year in 2023.
00:21:01.160 I live in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
00:21:03.560 We have every seat in the state legislature up for election this year.
00:21:08.460 That's every seat in the state Senate and House of Delegates.
00:21:11.080 And as you remember, in 2021, we won the governorship of Glenn Youngkin.
00:21:15.120 Let's give Glenn Youngkin a legislature that we can work with by holding the House of Delegates and flipping two state Senate seats this November.
00:21:24.440 And then we will control all three levels of government.
00:21:27.840 Kentucky flipping the governorship this November.
00:21:30.720 Louisiana flipping the governorship this October.
00:21:33.340 Pennsylvania winning a state Supreme Court seat.
00:21:36.120 And if we do win that, the Democrats will only have a very narrow four to three majority on the state Supreme Court.
00:21:43.360 Also, New Jersey.
00:21:44.780 We have an opportunity.
00:21:45.940 If we flip six state assembly seats in the House, we will be able to block Democrat Governor Murphy from passing reckless legislation.
00:21:55.300 And last, we cannot forget about Mississippi.
00:21:58.200 Yes, it's been traditionally a Republican state, but we must hold that governorship this November.
00:22:03.660 And those are our priorities moving forward in 2023.
00:22:08.980 That's so important.
00:22:10.120 And as you're focused on those states that you just outlined, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Mississippi, you're doing the same work that you'll be able to then just roll over into the presidential year either way.
00:22:24.540 Because guess what?
00:22:25.620 It's the same voters.
00:22:26.800 It's the same towns.
00:22:28.100 It's the same areas.
00:22:29.380 It's the same action leaders.
00:22:30.580 When you identify super volunteers, when you can find them, they pop out of the woodwork.
00:22:34.820 You find people that that want to.
00:22:36.360 And this is how I got started in politics in Pennsylvania, that you you find the people that are willing to put in the time, that are willing to come in and make phone calls, willing to go knock on doors on a Saturday morning.
00:22:46.600 Those are the people that you identify in what you would consider, quote unquote, an off year election.
00:22:51.720 But you have time to ramp it up.
00:22:53.860 We've got 90 seconds left.
00:22:55.360 Scott Pressler, what do you want people to focus on most importantly here in this year?
00:23:01.200 I'm so thankful for my election integrity people that want to do electioneering on Election Day.
00:23:09.480 And I'm thankful for the people that want to engage in legal ballot harvesting and ballot chasing.
00:23:14.280 But both of those things can't happen unless an election is ongoing.
00:23:17.540 If you want to win, I ask you to join me, please, in spending your time from now until next year, before October, registering new voters, educating people on the value of early voting.
00:23:31.600 Get as many people that you can, low propensity voters on the mail and voter list.
00:23:36.480 And if we do those things, we are going to be building that infrastructure that whoever our Republican candidate is in 2024, that person will actually have the chance to win because we currently don't have that infrastructure.
00:23:50.860 And I'm proud to be partnering with Turning Point Action.
00:23:55.640 Amen.
00:23:56.460 Thank you again, Scott Pressler.
00:23:58.340 The persistence, ladies and gentlemen, the persistence.
00:24:01.800 Make sure you go follow him.
00:24:03.060 Go follow early vote action.
00:24:05.380 This is the key to the fight if you want to win back our country.
00:24:10.400 But stay tuned because we've got another piece of the fight next.
00:24:16.020 Folks, I want to take a real quick second to tell you about our partnership with Blackout Coffee.
00:24:22.820 Blackout Coffee is what runs this show here at Human Events.
00:24:27.140 It's running the office.
00:24:28.060 It's actually kind of running my family right now because we got a little bit of jet lag after travel.
00:24:33.440 And so when you come in with Blackout Coffee, this is what gives you the energy to keep going, to keep firing on all pistons, to stay high energy.
00:24:44.020 And the folks over at Blackout Coffee, if you go to BlackoutCoffee.com slash POSO right now, you can receive and obtain 20% off your first order with promo code POSO20.
00:24:55.920 So make sure, I know it's usually the other one, but we're using promo code POSO20 right now to get your 20% off your first order.
00:25:03.000 That's a huge deal.
00:25:04.740 I want you to try this stuff.
00:25:06.020 You're going to love it as much as I do.
00:25:08.260 Another thing I loved recently was a piece in the Wall Street Journal that I read with the headline,
00:25:14.960 2024 Presidential Candidates Against the Administrative State.
00:25:19.820 And it's amazing to me that this idea, this concept of the deep state, the permanent state, the constant state, that this has gotten so mainstream.
00:25:28.080 I remember it used to be people would say, oh, it's Alex Jones, that's InfoWars stuff, that's all over.
00:25:33.820 And I said, well, what if they're actually describing something that's actually true?
00:25:37.320 Did you ever consider that?
00:25:38.700 Well, it turns out there is a permanent state.
00:25:40.440 And believe it or not, our next guest, James Bacon of Project 2025, is explaining how Trump, DeSantis, and even RFK Jr. are breaking this down all for us.
00:25:53.660 James, really excited to have you on.
00:25:56.040 Thank you for having me, Jack.
00:25:57.320 It's great to be here.
00:25:59.840 Now, James, you were in the Trump White House, and you experienced this firsthand.
00:26:05.720 We actually have a really quick clip of President Trump earlier today describing this situation.
00:26:12.260 Let's play it, guys.
00:26:13.440 Now that the Durham report has come out and shows all of the abuses that the FBI and the Justice Department had,
00:26:22.820 when you become president on day one, what are you going to do to restore the respect for the FBI and our law enforcement back into this country that it once had?
00:26:35.340 It's so fair a question.
00:26:36.660 And, you know, the FBI has, and you have a lot of great people in the FBI, but the FBI has taken hits like in history like they haven't taken.
00:26:43.780 And look, I'm a victim of it.
00:26:46.840 They've come after me.
00:26:47.760 They've come after me on many things, all debunked the Mueller report, the fake dossier.
00:26:53.820 How about the dossier, which was written up by the Democrats, all fake stuff?
00:26:57.300 So, James, that was today.
00:27:00.920 That wasn't something from like 2016, 2017.
00:27:03.740 That was today in Iowa.
00:27:06.300 This voter, I don't know who he was, but he's waiting there to meet President Trump.
00:27:10.220 He's out on the campaign trail.
00:27:11.600 His very first question was about the administrative state.
00:27:16.720 Yes.
00:27:17.440 This has become the central issue of the 2024 election because voters know that unless you deal with
00:27:24.320 the deep state and reassert the president's control over it, there's no guarantee that any presidential
00:27:30.380 policies will get done.
00:27:32.780 So with the Twitter files coming out, with the Durham report coming out, we found that the
00:27:38.500 president does not control these executive agencies nearly to the degree that FDR did when he and
00:27:45.580 Congress raised our modern government.
00:27:47.500 And so it's funny how he always accused Trump of undermining democracy by wanting to, you know, assert his agenda.
00:27:57.560 It's actually the deep state that is the fundamental antithesis of democracy because our system is
00:28:05.380 supposed to function with elected representatives implementing their policies.
00:28:10.180 But when the elected president can't even control the executive branch, that's when our democracy
00:28:17.700 is dead.
00:28:22.080 Well, you're exactly right there because this is the idea, and you saw this throughout the
00:28:25.880 Trump administration, that the Mueller investigation, which was kicked off by the Comey firing.
00:28:33.120 So you fire Comey, who's part of the administrative state, but then all of a sudden you get this pathogen
00:28:39.080 response to it where the firing of Comey then tees up an even bigger investigation.
00:28:45.500 A special prosecutor is launched.
00:28:48.100 And I've noticed that President Trump, when people bring this up, they say, why don't you
00:28:51.760 just fire this guy?
00:28:52.480 Why don't you just fire that guy?
00:28:53.560 It's like they're missing the entire situation of what actually happened when he tried to fire
00:28:59.520 somebody who was protected by the administrative state.
00:29:02.840 But let me ask you this question.
00:29:05.180 What is the sense on the left?
00:29:08.120 Because that was what was so interesting to me.
00:29:09.960 I think on the right, we kind of get this at this point because we've been living it
00:29:12.840 for so many years now.
00:29:13.840 But what is your sense on the left with RFK actually bringing this up?
00:29:17.180 This is something where, you know, I want to say there's sort of like it was the Bernie
00:29:21.680 Sanders coalition.
00:29:22.900 It was the anti-war coalition.
00:29:25.220 Folks like Jimmy Dore who are out there speak to this.
00:29:28.320 Do you think it's reached a parity point yet?
00:29:31.360 Because, of course, MSNBC, CNN will never acknowledge this.
00:29:36.360 Absolutely.
00:29:36.820 So there's a lot of intersection with the populace left on these issues.
00:29:41.540 Everyone can agree that our government is captured by special interests.
00:29:45.900 So what RFK is concerned with is from like a left-wing environmental perspective, basically
00:29:53.820 how our EPA is completely captured by the corporate establishment.
00:30:00.240 HHS is completely captured by the medical establishment.
00:30:03.540 The Pentagon is completely captured by the military-industrial complex.
00:30:09.860 Now, these are issues where the populist right and populist left align on.
00:30:14.240 So if we don't get this under control, there's even a recognition that RFK Jr., with his populist
00:30:20.800 agenda, would not be able to accomplish anything.
00:30:23.900 Well, of course, and RFK has come out there quite emphatically, I would say, talking about
00:30:33.440 how this very system that he has described is or may have played a role in, I'll just
00:30:40.720 say, the tragedies that his family has experienced in the past.
00:30:45.300 We've got about 60 seconds left here before the break.
00:30:48.020 But James, do you think that we've reached a point where we actually can fight back and
00:30:53.040 win?
00:30:54.800 Yes.
00:30:55.740 Trump exposed all of this and made this mainstream.
00:30:59.380 It used to be a very obscure fact that only people in Washington, D.C. knew.
00:31:04.200 The joke is in Washington that you're supposed to go along to get along with the bureaucracy.
00:31:09.860 If you're a political appointee, you're not really going to make inroads into the administrative
00:31:14.460 state.
00:31:14.920 You're supposed to just let the career civil servants produce the policy and you're supposed
00:31:20.020 to tinker around the margins, maybe make little changes here and there.
00:31:24.600 And we get the joke now, but we don't think it's funny.
00:31:29.460 And that's why we're prepared at this time to go in and change it.
00:31:35.360 No, that's absolutely right, folks.
00:31:37.080 Go and follow James Bacon Project 2025 over at Heritage.
00:31:42.240 You are putting out the most important information that we can on the administrative state, as
00:31:48.500 well as go read this piece in the Wall Street Journal.
00:31:50.860 I read it every single word, cover to cover.
00:31:53.400 Print this one out and send it to people.
00:31:55.200 And particularly because it's open to people on the populist left.
00:31:59.700 Evelyn, stop buzzing in my ear about the boring people at your office.
00:32:03.560 I'm trying to listen to the news.
00:32:05.120 And we're back here at Human Events.
00:32:08.940 And this piece that's written, the Wall Street Journal, James Bacon wrote it.
00:32:13.400 He goes through how, now look, of course we know President Trump has talked at length,
00:32:19.320 at great length, about what he would do to try to dismantle this federal leviathan.
00:32:24.600 But yet we're also hearing this from Governor Ron DeSantis, who said it in his Twitter space's launch,
00:32:30.940 that he wants to reconstitutionalize the executive branch, bring the administrative state to heel.
00:32:37.180 Vivek Ramaswamy has a proposal to eliminate all civil service protections.
00:32:41.200 Of course, we've also heard about Schedule F from President Trump.
00:32:44.100 His executive order was for that in October of 2020.
00:32:46.380 And then also, and this is what is so interesting to me, RFK Jr., who's running as a Democrat,
00:32:53.220 not running as an independent, and there are sour grapes laws, or sore loser laws,
00:32:57.000 which do mean that you can't go in and then register as a Democrat or register as an independent
00:33:01.560 and then try to get on the ballot again.
00:33:03.420 He's been telling people, taking the famous or infamous quote from his uncle,
00:33:09.280 take the CIA and shatter it into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.
00:33:15.260 That is extremely tough talk.
00:33:18.480 James, do you actually believe that a president with Congress can get this done?
00:33:29.940 Because imagine the deep state as a pack of alligators that Congress is obsessed with feeding.
00:33:36.700 Congress is the biggest mechanism for empowering the deep state,
00:33:40.320 and they will fight you tooth and nail if you try to do civil service reform.
00:33:44.260 So the good news is the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 gives the president most of the tools they need
00:33:53.620 to reform the bureaucracy.
00:33:55.800 So you don't actually need Congress to make the most major changes.
00:34:00.940 What you do need is the right team.
00:34:04.200 So there's 4,000 political appointee positions that the president gets to fill.
00:34:08.960 All of those appointees must be aligned with the president's agenda.
00:34:14.620 Loyalty first, expertise second.
00:34:17.640 The career bureaucracy has all the expertise you need.
00:34:20.740 There's no shortage of that.
00:34:22.500 You need loyalty first and foremost.
00:34:25.240 And that's what we're preparing to do at Project 2025 at Heritage.
00:34:30.000 You know, President Trump didn't have the institutions made up of America first conservatives
00:34:35.980 to go in when he entered his administration.
00:34:39.420 So he had to rely on these establishment Republicans that want to get along with the administrative state.
00:34:45.800 We're trying to fix that.
00:34:47.960 So what we're doing is we're recruiting conservatives from across the country.
00:34:52.460 You can apply at project2025.org.
00:34:56.140 Hit the big apply button.
00:34:57.460 Because we're going to be ready to take D.C. by storm in 2025 with grassroots conservatives.
00:35:04.220 We're training these appointees.
00:35:06.180 We're sorting them into positions.
00:35:08.260 We want to be ready to hit the ground running in 2025.
00:35:14.480 So that's actually amazing.
00:35:16.020 I remember the history of that time.
00:35:18.340 I remember the, you know, the different list, the plum list and these different things that were out there.
00:35:24.020 Remember, there was that, you know, that votes.
00:35:28.840 They had actually set up a resume center on the Trump transition website.
00:35:35.160 But then a lot of that had kind of gummed up.
00:35:37.200 And there were people, and I'm just going to say it, there were people who got into that process
00:35:41.740 and then got rid of those resumes because they didn't want, it was greatagain.gov, I believe.
00:35:48.060 And greatagain was, it was destroyed.
00:35:51.220 They round filed it.
00:35:52.300 What does round file mean?
00:35:53.240 They threw it in the trash.
00:35:55.060 There were thousands of people who applied, many of which were extremely loyal, had fantastic resumes, impeccable resumes, impeccably credentialed, as you would say.
00:36:04.940 And there were people in D.C. who wanted President Trump to fail that destroyed that entire database.
00:36:11.420 And so what you're doing, and it's so admirable, is taking the time to put together the work at, and so you're doing this under the auspices of heritage, but essentially it's for whatever the next administration is.
00:36:23.640 Is that right?
00:36:24.040 So it's for whoever becomes president on the conservative side.
00:36:29.360 But you're right, not a single person was hired from greatagain.gov.
00:36:34.880 So this is the answer to the establishment's takeover of the Trump administration's personnel in 2017.
00:36:41.820 You know, the old presidential personnel office, I tell people a lot of the time they weren't trying to undermine the Trump administration, but they were D.C. Republicans.
00:36:52.280 And they were hiring who they know.
00:36:55.160 They were hiring their friends.
00:36:57.120 These aren't people from outside of D.C. who believed in Trump's 2016 agenda of reining the swamp and restoring people into control of our government.
00:37:09.320 These people have the D.C. agenda.
00:37:12.080 So Project 2025 is the answer to the establishment undermining the Trump administration in 2017.
00:37:18.680 No, I think this is perfect.
00:37:23.940 I think Project 2025, we need to be able to put stuff like this forward.
00:37:28.480 We need to be able to take, and by the way, if there are people who were from the prior administration that want to come forward, that are still willing and able to do this, if they're loyal, because you've seen a lot of these guys now that are out just bashing, John Bolton, great example, someone who's out there completely.
00:37:43.620 Now, by the way, John Bolton is not a guy that I would consider for rehiring to begin with.
00:37:48.680 This is a guy who out there, he is today calling, he was on CNN, he's calling for increased strikes, not on Russian forces, but actually within Russian territory itself.
00:38:00.100 He's saying that even the Ukrainians, by the way, haven't come out and agreed to this, but he hasn't found a war that he doesn't like.
00:38:06.340 He's saying, you know, we need to invade Iran.
00:38:07.700 This is, of course, why they're leaking on Jack Smith, is leaking on President Trump, so they wanted to invade Iran, he wouldn't let them do that.
00:38:14.620 They wanted to invade Syria, that was McMaster, he wouldn't let them do that.
00:38:17.720 And then John Bolton, who just wants to invade everybody, and he wouldn't let them do it better.
00:38:21.100 Plus, he's insane, and Pompeo had this idea about regime change down in Venezuela, and this whole thing with Juan Guaido, and Maduro.
00:38:27.840 It was a joke, it was a complete joke.
00:38:29.880 I've got about 90 seconds left.
00:38:31.180 James, tell people again where to go to sign up for Project 25.
00:38:36.840 Yes, it's project2025.org.
00:38:40.400 Hit the apply button, fill out the questionnaire.
00:38:43.300 We're going to get all of you into D.C., God willing, in 2025.
00:38:47.780 I also want to say this.
00:38:49.580 With all these candidates competing and saying they're going to drain the swamp, how do we actually know who's going to do it?
00:38:56.060 You know, Trump did a very interesting thing in 2016 when he released his list of conservative judges that he would pick from, sort of to tell social conservatives, I will pick conservative judges.
00:39:09.620 Imagine if Trump did something similar now and said, this is who I'm going to pick for my cabinet, this is who I'm going to pick for my White House.
00:39:18.180 I think that saying who your team is going to be is the absolutely essential and most important thing you can indicate to show that you're going to take on the deep state.
00:39:29.120 So that would be my advice.
00:39:32.860 I couldn't agree more.
00:39:34.060 I think getting that out there is important.
00:39:35.680 James, thank you so much for your words.
00:39:37.160 Thank you for your work.
00:39:38.080 Thank you for your time, both inside and now outside of the administration, serving your country and making America great again.
00:39:46.000 Folks, we need to understand that we are up against an administrative state that's been there for a century.
00:39:52.940 If we are not actually willing to do the work of getting the people there, we have to understand personnel as policy.
00:40:02.180 Folks, we know that stuff is getting crazy out there.
00:40:06.360 We know that when we're talking about the potential for a two-front global conflict,
00:40:14.360 we're already in a proxy war in Ukraine.
00:40:16.980 Is there a possibility that we get into another proxy war or, God forbid, active kinetic warfare with the Chinese Communist Party in Taiwan?
00:40:29.380 The world is headed for crisis.
00:40:33.300 But you don't have to have your family unprepared.
00:40:38.940 One of the ways to do this is to go to MyPatriotSupply.
00:40:42.680 At MyPatriotSupply, you can now receive a special deal when you buy a three-month emergency food kit,
00:40:48.760 which lasts up to 25 years in storage.
00:40:51.140 By the way, some people put these in their trunks of their cars because, look,
00:40:55.300 how many people are doing a road trip this summer?
00:40:58.120 You're going to get in the car.
00:40:59.080 You're going to put the kids in the car.
00:41:00.040 You're going to head somewhere.
00:41:00.920 You're going out.
00:41:01.440 You've got a great plan, whatever it is.
00:41:03.680 But you know what?
00:41:04.280 Something goes wrong with the car.
00:41:05.460 God forbid, again, you want to have food in your trunk.
00:41:09.240 That's what we do.
00:41:10.080 So just get one.
00:41:10.820 Throw it in the trunk of your car.
00:41:11.660 It's simple.
00:41:12.800 With each kit you order, you now get a bonus package of crucial survival gear worth over $200 for free.
00:41:18.680 The folks at MyPatriotSupply are waiting right now to take your order.
00:41:23.340 Because even though we don't know what could be going on out there, we know that you can be ready.
00:41:29.160 Look, folks, there's a lot going on in the world.
00:41:32.240 Okay?
00:41:32.480 Today is the first day of, is it Pride Month or is it the month that we're just going to be normal?
00:41:38.940 You know, I got to say, it doesn't feel like, all right, people might get twisted.
00:41:45.580 Don't get it twisted when I say this.
00:41:47.680 It kind of feels like I'm not seeing as many corporations push the Pride stuff as much this year than I have in years past.
00:41:57.160 Certainly the past couple years.
00:41:58.180 It almost feels like the Bud Lighting, Target, the L.A. Dodgers, which has yet to happen, by the way, and we're still going to have to just stay tuned on that one.
00:42:08.840 Stay tuned on that one.
00:42:10.400 It doesn't feel as though it's been as widespread as it's been before.
00:42:13.060 And keep in mind, even Target and Benny Johnson had the scoop.
00:42:15.540 Target pulled their Pride stuff.
00:42:17.480 They put it in the back because they didn't want to be the next Bud Light.
00:42:20.500 But you know what, Target stock is way down.
00:42:22.460 And I say, you know what, bring even more.
00:42:25.000 Continue the fight.
00:42:26.820 When they are on their back foot, that is when you advance.
00:42:30.420 That is when you have to actually move and take ground in the culture war.
00:42:36.020 Now, there was this whole thing out of the Daily Wire earlier where they were saying they were going to play what is a woman on Twitter.
00:42:42.900 And then they were claiming that they had been banned from Twitter from playing it because of misgendering, because of a couple scenes in the movie, et cetera.
00:42:52.000 And they were saying that Twitter had backed out of the deal.
00:42:54.040 Elon Musk has come out on Twitter now and stated, we're just seeing this in the last couple of minutes, actually breaking news as the show is on.
00:43:00.580 They are now moving to be able to show that he said this was an error.
00:43:05.980 So that will be on tonight.
00:43:07.420 Happy Pride.
00:43:08.380 What is a woman?
00:43:10.080 What else is going on?
00:43:11.080 Oh, boy, guys, unfortunately, we've got to reset the clock again.
00:43:16.720 Days since Joe Biden fell down, President Biden just tripped and fell during the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony visit, was helped up.
00:43:26.540 He's been assisted.
00:43:27.440 We've got the video of this.
00:43:28.820 He's got a blue hat on.
00:43:30.040 Oof, not great.
00:43:33.640 Joe Biden is our Yeltsin.
00:43:37.220 He is the Boris Yeltsin at the end of a long string of these neoliberal, progressive, globalist types.
00:43:46.280 President Trump was the aberration to all of this.
00:43:49.500 But they brought up Joe Biden and they put him there because, again, he's not the guy calling the shots.
00:43:55.660 He isn't the one who's actually in charge.
00:43:57.860 The people in power are the ones propping him up like Weekend at Bernie's.
00:44:02.260 I know there's a lot of question out there about will Michelle Obama get in the race?
00:44:06.360 Will Hillary Clinton?
00:44:07.200 Of course, they want to get in the race.
00:44:09.020 Absolutely.
00:44:09.700 Hillary Clinton wants to get in the race.
00:44:11.300 And she will if she can.
00:44:12.480 But when Gavin Newsom said that he wasn't going to run, we know that that means they're going to push Biden again.
00:44:20.840 Hillary would love to.
00:44:22.400 Hillary feels like it was stolen from her.
00:44:24.420 But that's not actually the case, is it?
00:44:27.280 Because in a sense, it was stolen from her by the American people.
00:44:33.460 And when we look across the landscape, if we want to take our country back, we have to take our elections back.
00:44:42.100 But that means taking matters into our own hands because you know what?
00:44:45.860 Nobody is coming to save us.
00:44:48.320 No one is going to come and swoop down from the rafters and say, you know what?
00:44:52.220 We're the A-team and we're here to save you.
00:44:53.800 No, you have to save yourselves.
00:44:55.920 We all have to save ourselves.
00:44:57.560 That's why Turning Point Action is now proudly partnering with Scott Pressler.
00:45:03.660 Five million dollars down.
00:45:06.400 And that's just to start, by the way.
00:45:07.800 That's just to start.
00:45:10.280 So when you come down to the Turning Point Action Conference, July 15th, West Palm Beach, make sure you are there.
00:45:19.700 Because we will be giving you the tools and we're going to have Scott Pressler lead this.
00:45:22.800 This is going to be a workshop.
00:45:23.980 This is a working group.
00:45:25.120 You are not coming down just for fun.
00:45:26.960 You're not coming down just for rah, rah.
00:45:28.800 Hey, we're, you know, we're all conservatives.
00:45:30.880 We like America, et cetera, et cetera.
00:45:32.580 No, that's all fun.
00:45:33.980 But it's not time for fun and games anymore.
00:45:36.180 We don't have time for fun and games.
00:45:38.780 Now is the time for action.
00:45:41.380 Now is the time to put in the work.
00:45:45.100 I want to thank you guys for watching Human Events.
00:45:48.260 Make sure that you are subscribed to us on the podcast side.
00:45:51.400 Make sure you're subscribed on Rumble.
00:45:53.240 Make sure you're getting this so that you can get it and share it out with everybody.
00:45:56.860 Because we know we don't have a lot of time left.
00:45:59.400 We do not have a lot of time left.
00:46:03.100 The rise of bricks, the weakening of the United States, the rise of China around the world.
00:46:08.280 This is all happening.
00:46:09.120 All of these things are happening around us on a regular basis.
00:46:11.960 We can feel U.S. weakness breaking.
00:46:14.400 And if you do not have a president who can keep all of this in line, well, now we know.
00:46:21.480 Now we know why.
00:46:22.600 We think, oh, is it just because Joe Biden is soft?
00:46:25.040 Do we think it's just because he's weak?
00:46:26.800 And then we have information that the FBI has known all along from the time where he was vice president.
00:46:33.020 And I want you to understand that.
00:46:35.440 I want you to internalize this.
00:46:39.280 They've had this information.
00:46:40.700 Oh, by the way, I'm told that we've had the video of the fall.
00:46:43.280 Is this bad?
00:46:43.740 Let's take a look.
00:46:44.400 Let's take a look.
00:46:46.840 Here we go.
00:46:47.760 I'm seeing this.
00:46:50.340 Oh, my gosh.
00:46:53.280 Oh, wow.
00:46:57.600 I'm seeing this now for the first time.
00:46:59.220 That was no laughing.
00:47:01.660 That's a serious fall.
00:47:03.940 That's a serious fall.
00:47:04.980 And this may have been, I have to go back and watch it again, but this may have been the ankle that we know he had hurt or he had hurt his foot early on.
00:47:13.920 And in the presidency, I don't know.
00:47:15.360 That may have been the same side.
00:47:16.520 He's got a weakness on that side.
00:47:17.700 So say a prayer for our devout Catholic commander in chief, President Biden.
00:47:22.800 Hope that he gets well and maybe, just maybe, he could resign and go home and then we could get a real president, even though, of course, the current vice president isn't very much of one.
00:47:33.340 Folks, this is what happens when America does not have strong leadership.
00:47:39.240 We're a laughing stock at home, we're a laughing stock abroad, and I guarantee you that video is going to be played everywhere.
00:47:46.840 Take your country back.
00:47:49.000 The time to take action is now.
00:47:50.800 No.
00:47:51.240 No.
00:47:52.600 Maybe not.
00:47:53.240 Maybe not.
00:47:53.740 Maybe not.
00:47:54.240 Maybe not.
00:47:55.060 You can.
