00:00:46.740 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:49.560 Deliver us from evil.
00:00:51.400 I am taking you all the way from the Netherlands.
00:00:54.720 And boy, when I stand on a stage like this with these smoke machines and everything, do
00:01:04.040 I feel European.
00:01:06.940 We don't have anything like this going on in Europe.
00:01:11.300 And this is my first time at M-Fest.
00:01:14.780 And I can...
00:01:16.180 Yeah.
00:01:17.180 Yeah.
00:01:17.620 And it is an absolute honor to be here and to be a part of it.
00:01:24.600 Seriously, guys.
00:01:26.040 God bless the United States of America.
00:01:34.300 When I go to events like this here in your beautiful country, and I meet so many extraordinary
00:01:40.200 people like yourselves, I get exactly why they call this country of yours, the land of the
00:01:48.240 free and the home of the brave.
00:01:55.240 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard another edition of Human Events Daily.
00:01:58.960 I'm your Florida Bureau Chief, Kevin Posobiec, coming to you live December 19th, 2023, Year
00:02:08.200 of Our Lord.
00:02:10.620 And we have with us a great panel of guests.
00:02:15.060 Look at this murder as well.
00:02:16.280 To my right, the blessed and highly favored Ava Vlar and Blake Neff.
00:02:20.920 All right.
00:02:21.380 And to the right is just some trespasser here, so.
00:02:25.700 Does he even go here?
00:02:27.400 You can't sit with us, Jack.
00:02:30.780 I got a girlfriend.
00:02:32.520 She's two towns over.
00:02:33.640 She's in Canada.
00:02:34.740 That's right.
00:02:35.220 That's right.
00:02:35.600 Here, let's get you a mic, Jack.
00:02:37.040 And we just opened with Ava's speech.
00:02:39.600 She's been a great guest of ours, co-hosting this whole event.
00:02:44.360 And today is her day, so we'd like to give her the floor as, you know.
00:02:49.780 Here's my question, Ava.
00:02:50.980 This is your first Turning Point event, right?
00:02:52.880 Yes, first.
00:02:53.300 So we've all been to Turning Points.
00:02:54.840 We've been to stuff.
00:02:55.940 Tell us, you've heard of Turning Point from afar, very far.
00:03:00.200 And how did it match up to what you had heard of it?
00:03:04.620 What were your experiences?
00:03:06.360 Give us your assessment of Turning Point America Fest as an event.
00:03:10.260 Well, I will tell you, I only heard great things about Turning Point.
00:03:13.380 You know, I was told that Charlie Kirk built an empire here, and I think that that has now been proven to me.
00:03:18.680 So, it's been an absolute honor, as I said a trillion times before, to be a part of this.
00:03:23.620 It was such a blast to be on stage.
00:03:26.760 And as the audience just saw, I opened my speech saying, God bless the United States of America.
00:03:32.080 Man, you guys know how to put a party together.
00:03:35.700 And even with the political things, you know, we don't have events that look like that.
00:03:40.540 We don't have the smoke machines, we don't have the fireworks, and we especially don't have crowds like this.
00:03:45.400 Not yet, because I do need to call Charlie and set up Turning Point EU now.
00:03:51.080 And we're going to do that.
00:03:51.920 Blake's been telling us we need to bring back the cash cannon.
00:03:54.940 Oh, yeah, for sure, yeah.
00:03:56.600 You know, I actually spoke, I was the guy, you know, the infamous cash cannon incident.
00:04:00.700 So, I was the act immediately after the cash cannon.
00:04:04.220 And I believe it was a panel on money and politics.
00:04:06.620 I was like, perfect.
00:04:08.080 If it works at an NFL game, we should do it at Turning Point event.
00:04:12.100 Simple.
00:04:12.640 Other than kneeling for the anthem.
00:04:14.240 Yeah, other than kneeling for the anthem and hating the fans.
00:04:16.540 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:04:17.100 Wait, Blake, are you saying that you watch sports ball?
00:04:20.080 No.
00:04:20.940 It better not be.
00:04:22.040 I, go away.
00:04:23.980 Breaking the code, breaking the code.
00:04:25.160 Breaking the code.
00:04:25.880 Hey, but Jack, you were just on stage.
00:04:27.700 Tell us, how did it go?
00:04:29.040 I mean, this crowd was incredible.
00:04:30.980 And here we are four days in.
00:04:33.460 So, this is not day one, not day two, not day three.
00:04:35.680 It's day four.
00:04:36.880 And at first, I was like, Charlie, put me on day four.
00:04:40.260 Come on, man.
00:04:41.180 What's going on, right?
00:04:42.560 You know, but then I realized it was stacked.
00:04:44.020 Best for last.
00:04:44.460 Best for last.
00:04:45.020 But then I realized it was, right, right, the last will be first.
00:04:47.000 And so, I realized it was a stacked deck today.
00:04:49.500 James O'Keefe.
00:04:50.680 We had Dennis Prager.
00:04:53.000 Then me.
00:04:53.800 And then Ted Cruz batting cleanup for all of us.
00:04:57.800 I said, man, this is a huge event.
00:04:59.820 It's packed in there.
00:05:01.280 People are so energetic.
00:05:02.820 They're so fired up.
00:05:04.020 Because they know this is, it's sort of the calm before the storm.
00:05:08.740 Now, Ava, of course, and we've talked a lot this week about how you guys just had your election.
00:05:13.980 You won.
00:05:15.060 We've got a huge election coming up.
00:05:17.220 By the way, not in 10 months, but in like 10 days.
00:05:20.520 Yeah.
00:05:20.760 Because the Iowa caucuses, that's our first round of the primary.
00:05:24.040 It begins very fast.
00:05:25.800 And I mean, what's going to happen here in America is going to dictate what's going to happen to the rest of the Western world.
00:05:30.120 I mean, you know, they can say whatever they want, but as far as I'm concerned, America is still the superpower of the world.
00:05:35.740 So, if things go well here, that means even more hope for us.
00:05:40.100 And, you know, we set a great example now with Geert Wilders.
00:05:42.400 Even if our coalition formation process fails, we just heard this morning that he now, in the most recent polls, is looking at 47 seats out of 150.
00:05:52.920 That is unheard of for Dutch standards.
00:05:56.320 And it's 10 more than he got just a few weeks ago in the general election.
00:06:00.240 So, even if they try to obscure...
00:06:02.020 What did you say?
00:06:02.380 It was one in four?
00:06:03.660 Yeah, one in four.
00:06:05.000 And so, now he's looking at 47 seats out of 150.
00:06:07.940 I mean, you do the math.
00:06:08.880 It's crazy.
00:06:09.760 You know, the genie is...
00:06:10.160 All right, we're coming up on a quick break, folks.
00:06:12.300 We'll be back.
00:06:13.140 We've got Blake.
00:06:13.840 We've got Ava.
00:06:14.360 We've got Kev.
00:06:14.860 We've got Poso.
00:06:15.840 Closing out Turning Point America Fest.
00:06:20.960 I rolled with bloods.
00:06:23.200 And them boys had a saying.
00:06:25.320 You can't be listening to all that slappy, whack, trim out of Zalitzabam ship, nippy-bam-bam, like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:06:32.780 I'll see you next week.
00:06:37.580 Bye.
00:06:47.460 Bye.
00:06:47.620 Bye.
00:06:47.680 Bye.
00:06:47.960 Bye.
00:06:54.020 Bye.
00:06:59.460 Bye.
00:06:59.660 Bye.
00:07:00.500 Bye.
00:07:01.460 Bye.

00:08:04.920 But Tucker's a bit ahead.
00:08:06.920 So he's definitely a solid number one.
00:08:08.920 So you give the edge to Tucker.
00:08:09.920 It's not as, you know, it's not as one-sided as, you know, the current polling in the primaries for president.
00:08:13.920 But it is a solid number one.
00:08:15.920 And then the Vague's number two.
00:08:17.920 And no one's super close to them.
00:08:19.920 Ron DeSantis got mid single digits.
00:08:22.920 And then a good number of write-ins, but no one over a few percent.
00:08:25.920 What do you guys, what do you guys think about this idea?
00:08:28.920 Take a guy like Tucker Carlson, who, and I'll ask Eva, because you've done Tucker more than any of us.
00:08:34.920 Done the show.
00:08:35.920 True, true.
00:08:36.920 Except for someone who was behind the scenes on the show.
00:08:38.920 That people know Blake used to do a lot of the writing on there.
00:08:41.920 Before you decided to become a famous internet celebrity.
00:08:44.920 God help us.
00:08:46.920 He's, Blake, Blake is my favorite e-girl.
00:08:50.920 He has a secret OnlyFans that I'm the only subscriber to actually.
00:08:53.920 Oh.
00:08:54.920 And only Blake.
00:08:55.920 Only Blake.
00:08:56.920 All day long.
00:08:58.920 Yep.
00:08:59.920 Just facts of Rome.
00:09:00.920 But he's reading it on the screen.
00:09:01.920 I can go all day.
00:09:02.920 He goes all day and all night, folks.
00:09:04.920 And all night.
00:09:05.920 But Eva, what do you think about this idea?
00:09:07.920 So, you have a guy like Trump, who's not a politician.
00:09:10.920 He's an outsider.
00:09:11.920 And then a guy like Tucker, who also is not a politician, total outsider.
00:09:16.920 Right.
00:09:17.920 Does it work?
00:09:18.920 I mean, everybody loves Trump and everybody loves Tucker, right?
00:09:22.920 And so, Tucker himself, when asked about this, said, I am an outsider.
00:09:26.920 I don't know nothing about that.
00:09:27.920 I'm a talk show host.
00:09:29.920 And the thing is, you know, I'm obviously, I'm Tucker's girl.
00:09:32.920 I owe everything that I do to Tucker.
00:09:35.920 My first hit on American TV was with Tucker Carlson about two years ago.
00:09:39.920 He's so spoiled.
00:09:40.920 I know.
00:09:41.920 I know.
00:09:42.920 And I've done multiple segments with him and even a documentary.
00:09:45.920 So, you know, my loyalty lies with Tucker all the way.
00:09:48.920 So, you're doing it all the way.
00:09:49.920 You're doing it all the way.
00:09:50.920 You've got to say, like, well, I've done some, you've got to put the distance, right?
00:09:53.920 No, not with Tucker.
00:09:54.920 You know, I've done some hits with him, but, you know.
00:09:56.920 No, no, no.
00:09:57.920 I'm all the way.
00:09:58.920 I'm Tucker's girl all the way.
00:09:59.920 But anyway, so, you know.
00:10:00.920 That's me when we're running game out in town.
00:10:02.920 I'm like, I've never seen this man before in my life.
00:10:04.920 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:10:05.920 I don't play it cool when it comes to Tucker Carlson.
00:10:07.920 So, you know, the thing with Tucker is everybody loves him.
00:10:09.920 I am almost at the point where I would say, Tucker, you know, is VP enough for Tucker Carlson?
00:10:13.920 That's the question I would ask.
00:10:15.920 Oh, uh-oh.
00:10:16.920 Uh-oh.
00:10:17.920 Well, you know what's funny?
00:10:18.920 So, I had a chance to spend a little brief time with Tucker, and I've heard him talk about
00:10:24.920 this so much.
00:10:25.920 He talks about declassifying things.
00:10:27.920 He's always interested in, Blake, you know, he wants everything.
00:10:31.920 The aliens, JFK, the truth about the Titanic, the truth about the fall of Rome.
00:10:36.920 Goes all the way back.
00:10:37.920 Literally all of it.
00:10:38.920 And so, what I said to him was, I flipped it on him.
00:10:40.920 I said, you know, Tucker, if you were in the White House, you would be right in, right,
00:10:46.920 the saddle seat there, right riding shotgun on the declassification of whatever you want.
00:10:52.920 I didn't say anything, but I noticed a little, a little twinkle.
00:10:56.920 A little Christmas twinkle in his eye.
00:10:58.920 A little Christmas twinkle in his eye.
00:10:59.920 What about Tucker Carlson for CIA chief?
00:11:01.920 There you go.
00:11:02.920 There you go.
00:11:03.920 Well, he wanted to be, right, he applied, I think, at one point, and they were like, no,
00:11:08.920 not you.
00:11:09.920 Like, you actually care about the country.
00:11:10.920 We can't let you be, can't let you be in the CIA.
00:11:12.920 But, Kev, what, Kev, when you're, when you're looking at AmericaFest, you know, you've
00:11:16.920 been to a bunch of these, you've been to other turning point events.
00:11:19.920 You know, what's your analysis of this event as it rides out?
00:11:23.920 Well, as it rides out, I was, I was looking for some extra energy coming in and it delivered.
00:11:28.920 Absolutely.
00:11:29.920 This year, very much more than the past few.
00:11:33.920 It's just been full jam-packed, like you said, full speakers.
00:11:36.920 And this is like game time for the election coming.
00:11:42.920 Whether it's going to be Tucker or Vivek.
00:11:45.920 Yeah, it's just great to see the turnout.
00:11:49.920 I think it was, what, 15,000?
00:11:51.920 We had.
00:11:52.920 Charlie says 13.
00:11:53.920 I was counting heads.
00:11:54.920 I got up to 15.
00:11:55.920 Events everywhere, merch, after parties, like people just hanging out, getting together.
00:12:03.920 Oh, Kev, I heard about you at the after parties, by the way.
00:12:06.920 Oh, it's only good.
00:12:07.920 It's only good stuff.
00:12:08.920 I'm not going to say anything to the Arizona Republic, but definitely don't file a freedom
00:12:13.920 of information request with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office with the name Kevin Joseph
00:12:19.920 Posobiec on it.
00:12:20.920 No point.
00:12:21.920 I don't know, you might find a little something.
00:12:22.920 Just don't give out my confirmation name.
00:12:23.920 You might find a little nugget there.
00:12:24.920 Just don't give out my confirmation name.
00:12:26.920 No, I've told you plenty of times before, Jack, the one thing about the left is they're
00:12:30.920 always united at the end of the day, from the grassroots.
00:12:33.920 They're very good at that.
00:12:34.920 Something that I would criticize the right about is like, except for events like this,
00:12:38.920 where we are drawn together and we can have the ability to unify and get each other's
00:12:45.920 numbers and stay connected on social media, get on each other's sites.
00:12:49.920 You're trying to ask Kevin for a number?
00:12:51.920 Is that what you're doing right there?
00:12:52.920 You kind of looked at him when you said that, Kev.
00:12:56.920 We can get each other's numbers.
00:12:58.920 Uh-oh.
00:12:59.920 Uh-oh.
00:13:00.920 Can't confirm or deny here, Jack.
00:13:02.920 Oh, okay.
00:13:03.920 Oh, they even had a speed dating event here, right?
00:13:05.920 I mean, like, look at that.
00:13:06.920 The speed dating was like, we were, so they had the line for it, you know, and people are
00:13:10.920 kind of still here.
00:13:11.920 We're filling out.
00:13:12.920 But the speed dating line where, Blake, you actually won that, right?
00:13:15.920 No, I wasn't allowed in.
00:13:16.920 Oh, you weren't?
00:13:17.920 She wasn't allowed in either.
00:13:18.920 No.
00:13:19.920 So it was students only, there's liability issues, it was a whole thing.
00:13:21.920 I tried to talk to our good friend about that, but, you know, it was what it was.
00:13:26.920 And that event, though, we had this, the line went from the door back there all the way
00:13:33.920 down around here, all the way around the back.
00:13:35.920 I said, is there like a meet and greet?
00:13:37.920 Is like, is Trump here?
00:13:38.920 Like, what is this line?
00:13:39.920 They said, no, it's the line for speed dating.
00:13:40.920 Yeah, they're just listening to you.
00:13:42.920 Start a family, be a rebel.
00:13:43.920 Be a rebel, start a family.
00:13:44.920 Doesn't sound very speedy, though.
00:13:45.920 That's right.
00:13:46.920 No, no, no.
00:13:47.920 The initial part is.
00:13:49.920 The initial part is, because this had always been, and just so, and Blake, you probably
00:13:53.920 know some of these, that, you know, we've been saying this on ThoughtCrime, the greatest
00:13:58.920 hangout podcast of them all.
00:14:00.920 People say, Nelk Boys, Tim Kast, ThoughtCrime.
00:14:03.920 ThoughtCrime's the one.
00:14:04.920 And to your point, Jack, like, you were saying, like, it's almost like people need permission,
00:14:09.920 though, to like, talk to each other.
00:14:11.920 This is a huge issue.
00:14:12.920 This is a huge issue.
00:14:13.920 This is a huge issue.
00:14:14.920 And like, get each other's numbers or date or anything.
00:14:15.920 Get a notarized document.
00:14:16.920 Yeah, it's like, you have, like, unless you're on a certain app, like, people communicate
00:14:22.920 differently on X versus LinkedIn versus Tinder versus Instagram.
00:14:26.920 Look, folks, every app is a date, every app is a dating app if you're good at it.
00:14:30.920 Being from the centennial generation, it's like, you just.
00:14:33.920 Even Google Maps.
00:14:34.920 What have you been telling you?
00:14:35.920 Google Maps?
00:14:36.920 Oh, yeah.
00:14:37.920 Tell us the secret.
00:14:38.920 No, no, no, no.
00:14:39.920 That's, that's in the Jack, that's in the post day game master course.
00:14:43.920 All right.
00:14:44.920 You can sign up for that after your James O'Keefe citizen journalism class.
00:14:47.920 No, but, but.
00:14:48.920 Or dance lessons.
00:14:49.920 But, Blake, you've talked about this, too, that, that when it comes to, especially Zoomers
00:14:53.920 and dating, it's, it's not so much the women, it's the men, isn't it?
00:14:56.920 Yeah, it's, everyone's very messed up about things.
00:15:00.920 Like we talked about on the show.
00:15:01.920 They're all, they're all trapped inside all day.
00:15:03.920 Right.
00:15:04.920 They just sit on their computers.
00:15:05.920 They are terrified to go outside.
00:15:07.920 They're terrified to go to any event.
00:15:09.920 They're terrified to say hello to anyone.
00:15:11.920 And it's like, I bet if you ran the numbers, it'll just be, you get these like 25% of people
00:15:16.920 don't have any friends in real life.
00:15:17.920 They just sit on Discord or something.
00:15:19.920 Well, keep in mind, we also live in a time where it's like, if you go to the gym and you see
00:15:24.920 a TikTok girl in the gym and she's doing like her stuff and you, you look over to see why
00:15:29.920 do you have a ring light?
00:15:30.920 Why do you have a tripod?
00:15:31.920 And then suddenly she starts screaming, rape.
00:15:34.920 You know, it's like, so you just check out.
00:15:38.920 Everyone's scared of school.
00:15:39.920 Like at school, they terrify you.
00:15:41.920 You can't matriculate at a US college without about five days of propaganda that is like,
00:15:45.920 do not rape.
00:15:46.920 Do not even talk to anyone.
00:15:47.920 Exactly.
00:15:48.920 No, we used to get that.
00:15:49.920 I saw, I saw the rise of wokeness in the Navy, like, as I was getting out.
00:15:53.920 And this, you would go through these trainings and it was like, okay, so don't ever talk to
00:15:59.920 women.
00:16:00.920 Yeah.
00:16:01.920 Just because everything is wrong.
00:16:02.920 And you'll see this now.
00:16:03.920 They're complaining that, you know, young women in academia are saying, I can't get a
00:16:07.920 faculty advisor.
00:16:08.920 I can't get mentorship because all these people are just saying, well, nix it entirely.
00:16:12.920 We're going back to 1950s norms.
00:16:14.920 Right.
00:16:15.920 Never be in an elevator with a woman alone, all of that nonsense.
00:16:18.920 The feminists did that well for us, eh?
00:16:20.920 Thank you, feminists.
00:16:21.920 Thank you.
00:16:22.920 I have a little optimism, though.
00:16:23.920 I would like to say, though, being at a gym in Tampa Bay, sometimes if you get to go
00:16:29.920 and see a woman in the gym and you are polite and well-mannered, they will talk to you.
00:16:36.920 What's your move?
00:16:37.920 What's your move in the gym, Kev?
00:16:38.920 What's your move?
00:16:39.920 Well, I say, hey, what's your reps?
00:16:42.920 Oh.
00:16:43.920 I'm just saying, the example is like with the two dogs.
00:16:46.920 You know, like the two dogs on leashes, right?
00:16:48.920 And they're barking at each other, right?
00:16:50.920 But if you take them off the leash, most of the time they won't actually fight each other.
00:16:56.920 He's saying he does, he squats 135.
00:16:59.920 I'm just...
00:17:00.920 Oh, I'm trying to get 1,000.
00:17:01.920 I'm trying to get 1,000 pounds out here.
00:17:02.920 Oh, I need someone to spot me.
00:17:03.920 I need someone to spot me with 1,35 here.
00:17:05.920 Come on.
00:17:06.920 There you go.
00:17:07.920 This guy just told me he put up 2,45 the other day.
00:17:10.920 2,45 bench?
00:17:11.920 That's okay.
00:17:12.920 That's okay.
00:17:13.920 That's okay.
00:17:14.920 Yeah, that's all right.
00:17:15.920 All right.
00:17:16.920 Okay.
00:17:17.920 What do you mean, Blake?
00:17:18.920 Call me when you can get 3,45.
00:17:20.920 I will.
00:17:21.920 Keep going for that 1,000 pound club.
00:17:23.920 What's that in kilos?
00:17:25.920 I have no idea.
00:17:26.920 I know.
00:17:27.920 So, 1,35 is like 75.
00:17:29.920 3,45 is like what?
00:17:31.920 1,75.
00:17:32.920 Okay.
00:17:33.920 Yeah, yeah.
00:17:34.920 Truth be told, I never said put in a gym anyway, so I don't know.
00:17:37.920 I know.
00:17:38.920 Business is not a thing.
00:17:39.920 Only Americans are the fattest and fittest people in the world.
00:17:43.920 I think it's...
00:17:44.920 I've seen it starting in Europe.
00:17:46.920 I see a little bit of gym culture.
00:17:48.920 It's nowhere near as widespread, but it's starting.
00:17:50.920 Folks, we're going through all the...
00:17:53.920 We're really going through everything here.
00:17:54.920 Apparently, we're fixing all the problems of the world.
00:17:56.920 We're speed dating.
00:17:57.920 We're going around.
00:17:58.920 That's right.
00:17:59.920 Unleash everybody.
00:18:00.920 What is that b-roll?
00:18:01.920 That's not Berkeley Castle, is it?
00:18:02.920 Take your leash off.
00:18:03.920 Live free.
00:18:04.920 It kind of looks like it.
00:18:06.920 So, shout out to the Berkeley Springs Castle, apparently, from thought crime.
00:18:10.920 And we'll be right back here, turning point, closing out AmericaFest.
00:18:16.920 You talk about influences.
00:18:17.920 These are influences.
00:18:19.920 And they're friends of mine.
00:18:21.920 Jack.
00:18:22.920 Jack.
00:18:23.920 Where's Jack?
00:18:24.920 Jack.
00:18:25.920 He's done a great job.
00:18:26.920 Jack!
00:18:27.920 Jack!
00:18:28.920 All right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:18:30.920 We are back here.
00:18:31.920 Turning Point AmericaFest.
00:18:32.920 Human Events Daily.
00:18:33.920 You can see we're breaking some stuff down.
00:18:34.920 We still got some of the hardcores.
00:18:35.920 They're still here.
00:18:36.920 And Blake, here's my question for you.
00:18:38.920 So, you work on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:18:39.920 Charlie did the show here.
00:18:40.920 War Room was before us.
00:18:41.920 We're doing all shows in the round robin.
00:18:42.920 I got to say, man, I remember there was a little issue at this last AtCon over the summer.
00:18:45.920 And the Secret Service basically wasn't letting people in because we had, what, like 12,000 people there and they only had one scanner.
00:19:00.920 Okay?
00:19:01.920 So, this is the day that Trump spoke.
00:19:02.920 We had one scanner.
00:19:03.920 So, there's, you remember, you know what I'm talking about, right?
00:19:04.920 So, there was this line all the way around the block in sweltering, humid West Palm Beach, Florida, middle of July.
00:19:15.920 And, and everybody's like, why won't Charlie let us in?
00:19:32.920 Why won't Charlie let us in?
00:19:33.920 Because they didn't understand.
00:19:34.920 Charlie went out there and he shook the hand of every single person that was waiting in that line.
00:19:41.920 I came out with the kids.
00:19:43.920 We did some stuff.
00:19:45.920 Teddy Roosevelt style.
00:19:46.920 Teddy Roosevelt style.
00:19:47.920 Blake, I remember Charlie was a little less than pleased that day.
00:19:54.920 Could you compare Charlie then to Charlie at AmFest?
00:19:59.920 It really is.
00:20:00.920 You know, I've been here about, you know, a little over a year.
00:20:03.920 And I've done several events.
00:20:04.920 And this is by far the smoothest one, I can tell.
00:20:07.920 But we're always learning.
00:20:09.920 And also, Charlie, he actually has a lot in common with Tucker in this regard.
00:20:12.920 He's just always going, always there.
00:20:14.920 Even if, you know, even if stuff is going very difficult behind the scenes.
00:20:18.920 You know, he gets out, shakes everyone's hand, acts very upbeat, very energetic.
00:20:23.920 And that's the best thing he has going for him.
00:20:25.920 This colossal amount of energy.
00:20:27.920 We were just talking the other day.
00:20:28.920 He's just like, you know, if everyone took the Sabbath like I do, take one day a week,
00:20:32.920 and then go super hard the other six days.
00:20:35.920 You can get so much done.
00:20:36.920 And look at this.
00:20:38.920 He got, you know, 13,000 maybe more people to come to an event.
00:20:41.920 And he just turned 30 this year.
00:20:43.920 And he'll talk about this.
00:20:45.920 You know, you can look at 2017 or 2015.
00:20:47.920 You know, get a few dozen people to show up.
00:20:49.920 And we've built all of this up in a very short amount of time.
00:20:52.920 Actually, one of his, you know, Ava, you may appreciate this because one of Charlie's secret weapons,
00:20:57.920 we talked about it a little bit on the show recently, one of his secret weapons, Wim Hof,
00:21:02.920 he does the cold plunge every morning.
00:21:04.920 Really?
00:21:05.920 Some Dutch glory.
00:21:06.920 I mean, it makes me understand why he's so resilient then.
00:21:09.920 And if you're on your feet and you're doing this type of work such in a high intensity life,
00:21:13.920 you need to take care of your health.
00:21:16.920 And if he's doing the Wim Hof stuff, then that makes sense that he never gets sick.
00:21:19.920 So, Ava, are you a cold plunger?
00:21:21.920 Oh, I have to get into it.
00:21:23.920 You know, I will say though.
00:21:24.920 So, you've done it.
00:21:25.920 You've done it.
00:21:26.920 I lived on a houseboat, Jack.
00:21:27.920 You lived on a houseboat?
00:21:28.920 On the Dutch Amsterdam canals.
00:21:30.920 And I would go swim in the canal.
00:21:32.920 I don't know what that says about me.
00:21:33.920 How clean is that?
00:21:34.920 Is that clean in those canals?
00:21:35.920 Oh my gosh.
00:21:36.920 It's not super clean.
00:21:37.920 I saw videos pulling many bicycles out of here.
00:21:39.920 No, no, no.
00:21:40.920 Kevin jumped into the canal in Zurich.
00:21:42.920 Oh, yeah.
00:21:43.920 Well, in Zurich?
00:21:44.920 In Zurich a little better.
00:21:45.920 And, like, Geneva is a deep blue.
00:21:47.920 Yes.
00:21:48.920 He's like, it's deep blue.
00:21:49.920 I'm going in.
00:21:50.920 You're just jealous.
00:21:51.920 In all fairness, I was in a part of the town where we were close to the river.
00:21:54.920 So, I had a little bit more clean water coming in.
00:21:56.920 But still, I mean, you know, like, I'm still standing.
00:21:59.920 You know?
00:22:00.920 A little bit of dirty water never killed nobody.
00:22:02.920 But would you go in, like, in the winter months?
00:22:05.920 We did.
00:22:06.920 We did.
00:22:07.920 I mean, you know, not for too long because I don't want to freeze to death.
00:22:10.920 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:22:11.920 It was fun.
00:22:12.920 So, it's like a thing.
00:22:13.920 It's like a real, total, cultural thing out there.
00:22:14.920 Hey, Jack, I'm a Viking, you know?
00:22:15.920 Oh, okay.
00:22:16.920 Two men with a far right from Europe.
00:22:18.920 There you go.
00:22:19.920 There you go.
00:22:20.920 So, what are some of the health benefits?
00:22:22.920 Like, what is it?
00:22:23.920 Because Charlie's like, Charlie's always like, you mentioned, you know, Blake, you know, you mentioned cold plunge to Charlie.
00:22:28.920 He'll go out for like 30 minutes.
00:22:30.920 But is it legit?
00:22:31.920 I think it's just exposure to, well, I mean, in this case, extreme cold.
00:22:35.920 But in general, you know, that was the problem with the pandemic, of course.
00:22:38.920 They all made us, like, disinfect our hands.
00:22:40.920 And so, we would never get exposed to anything.
00:22:42.920 But if you never get exposed to anything, the moment you do, you get super sick.
00:22:45.920 It reduces inflammation.
00:22:47.920 Just like sports athletes, like pitchers, they put ice packs on their arms after they pitch.
00:22:51.920 Right.
00:22:52.920 The cold reduces inflammation.
00:22:54.920 It closes up your pores, too.
00:22:56.920 Like, instead of exfoliation, it closes your pores.
00:22:59.920 But, yeah, it reduces, like, initial, like, emotions.
00:23:05.920 If you're, like, having anxiety, depression is one of the things they claim cold showers are benefits for.
00:23:11.920 As well as just physically, like, reducing inflammation.
00:23:14.920 I don't remember if Charlie said that on air or off, but he said the same thing about depression.
00:23:18.920 Yeah, he says, like, once you've done a cold plunge, you can't feel depressed the rest of the day, I think is what he claimed.
00:23:23.920 Others say it's almost as potent as, like, a, you know, a good strong cup of coffee in the morning.
00:23:28.920 A cold shower.
00:23:29.920 It seems to basically be credited with everything.
00:23:31.920 And since he's the one who does it, I suppose he's probably correct.
00:23:34.920 And from our perspective, Jack, with Catholics, it's an aesthetic discipline that we do in, like, the Exodus 90 program.
00:23:40.920 Shout out to anybody doing that this coming Lent, Exodus 90.
00:23:43.920 Yeah, taking cold showers, you offer it up.
00:23:46.920 Because everybody just wants to be comfortable, take a hot shower.
00:23:49.920 But, yeah, I kind of make fun of the guys down in Florida because the groundwater doesn't get much past, like, 60.
00:23:55.920 But up north, Pennsylvania, probably Amsterdam for sure.
00:23:58.920 But, yeah.
00:24:00.920 I'm always kind of amazed at what the Wim Hof method.
00:24:03.920 I mean, this was proven somewhere in the 19th, right?
00:24:05.920 So he went to a Dutch university and they were like, okay, we're going to test this man.
00:24:09.920 And the idea was that he could self-regulate his temperature, right?
00:24:12.920 And it was actually scientifically proven.
00:24:14.920 And now I think to myself, probably in this day and age, no university would ever go and, like, have that formula.
00:24:21.920 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:24:22.920 Right, right, right.
00:24:23.920 Because they wouldn't want big pharma to miss out on a few extra billions a year, you know, by just being able to self-regulate.
00:24:28.920 So I'm always surprised that that information is, like, out there for us because usually they try to suppress that.
00:24:33.920 Right.
00:24:34.920 Bacteria grows in heat.
00:24:35.920 So if you don't have heat, then the bacteria dies for, like, many infections and diseases.
00:24:40.920 Simple.
00:24:41.920 It's like the health benefits.
00:24:42.920 Iverminton works, too.
00:24:43.920 It's like the health benefits of fasting, which are pretty well attested, but it'll almost never be recommended because it's literally free.
00:24:49.920 You don't need to spend anything to do it.
00:24:51.920 In fact, you save money because you're not buying food.
00:24:53.920 Or using hot water.
00:24:54.920 So Blake is, you're not really a cold plunge guy, right?
00:24:57.920 But you're a big into fasting.
00:24:59.920 Oh, yeah, for sure.
00:25:00.920 So what's your, what's your, I remember I asked you about this once on thought crime.
00:25:03.920 Have you, what is your latest record?
00:25:06.920 I think my record was seven and a half days.
00:25:09.920 Seven and a half days.
00:25:10.920 So how do you, so what do you do?
00:25:12.920 Really?
00:25:13.920 Is it a black fast or what do you do during the seven and a half days?
00:25:15.920 Once you get going, it's like a stone rolling downhill.
00:25:18.920 So the hardest day is the first one.
00:25:20.920 And after that, like, you don't really feel hungry.
00:25:22.920 It's mostly just the way you've broken up your habits so much.
00:25:26.920 And you're always thinking, I should eat right now.
00:25:28.920 And then, but what, what will you have?
00:25:29.920 What will you have?
00:25:30.920 Do you have anything?
00:25:31.920 Oh, just water and electrolyte.
00:25:32.920 I get like a zero calorie electrolyte thing.
00:25:34.920 And that's exactly what I do when I'm fasting.
00:25:35.920 I've done, I've done like two and a half days as much, which was recent.
00:25:41.920 And it actually had to do because I was like on a flight and there was a time change and I just didn't eat.
00:25:47.920 I just didn't eat.
00:25:48.920 I just didn't eat.
00:25:49.920 And then I didn't eat the one day and I ate the next day and then I just kept going and I just kept not eating.
00:25:56.920 And we were on the flight back from Eastern Europe recently and I did about two and a half and it was the same way.
00:26:02.920 Zero calorie electrolyte drinks because when you start to feel those hunger pangs, that's really just electrolyte craving.
00:26:08.920 That's really all it is.
00:26:09.920 You keep that, you keep going.
00:26:10.920 Yeah.
00:26:11.920 Right.
00:26:12.920 It was like you Americans are insane.
00:26:13.920 No, I mean, I, the fasting is interesting, but then I hear conflicting stories about whether it's good for young women in their fertile, you know, life period of their life.
00:26:22.920 Oh.
00:26:23.920 They say no and I don't know, you know, so I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna eat.
00:26:27.920 Well, there's always the Black Fast on Good Friday as well.
00:26:30.920 Good Friday's the Black Fast.
00:26:32.920 Wait a minute.
00:26:33.920 I see a friend of mine over there.
00:26:34.920 I don't know if we could get him on.
00:26:37.920 Who's that?
00:26:38.920 You think we can grab him?
00:26:39.920 Who?
00:26:40.920 Who?
00:26:41.920 Look right behind you.
00:26:42.920 Who's there?
00:26:43.920 I don't see anybody.
00:26:44.920 I don't see anybody.
00:26:45.920 I was gonna say, as far as you fast.
00:26:47.920 He's coming over, folks.
00:26:48.920 He's coming over, ladies and gentlemen, here at America Fest.
00:26:52.920 You never know who's gonna come up, who's gonna be there.
00:26:56.920 Well, I don't know.
00:26:57.920 He's on the phone.
00:26:58.920 He's off the phone.
00:26:59.920 Ladies and gentlemen, Jake and Jelly.
00:27:01.920 The American Shaman is here, folks.
00:27:03.920 Ava, our first interview is also our last interview.
00:27:06.920 What's going on, Jake?
00:27:07.920 Great to have you.
00:27:08.920 How are you doing?
00:27:09.920 I'm good.
00:27:10.920 I'm good.
00:27:11.920 Glad to be here.
00:27:12.920 Speaking of shamanism, we were just talking about fasting and detoxing, cold plunges.
00:27:15.920 Do you do any of that or no Wim Hof or anything?
00:27:18.920 Dude, how do you think I stayed...
00:27:19.920 Here, here.
00:27:20.920 Oh, thank you.
00:27:21.920 How do you think I stayed warm in D.C. in January with no shirt on?
00:27:23.920 I see.
00:27:24.920 The breathing techniques.
00:27:25.920 Wim Hof, yeah, dude.
00:27:26.920 I see.
00:27:27.920 Nah, really?
00:27:28.920 Yes.
00:27:29.920 That's amazing.
00:27:30.920 How do you think I did it?
00:27:31.920 I don't know.
00:27:32.920 Oh, dude, yeah.
00:27:33.920 I studied Wim Hof.
00:27:34.920 I studied the techniques.
00:27:35.920 And it doesn't just work in cold.
00:27:37.920 It actually also works in heat.
00:27:39.920 So you can actually regulate your body temperature so you don't overheat.
00:27:42.920 Did you get any...
00:27:43.920 I wanted to say it.
00:27:44.920 There you go.
00:27:45.920 Did you get any nanny hikes this time here?
00:27:46.920 Oh, dude.
00:27:47.920 Oh, yeah.
00:27:48.920 Just over the past couple days?
00:27:50.920 Oh, no.
00:27:51.920 Oh, okay.
00:27:52.920 No, no.
00:27:53.920 But, dude, like...
00:27:54.920 Well, because Wim Hof, he, like, claims going up Everest in shorts and stuff.
00:27:56.920 Oh, yeah, in shorts.
00:27:57.920 Yeah.
00:27:58.920 I do.
00:27:59.920 I believe him.
00:28:00.920 What's that?
00:28:01.920 So tell me, what do you...
00:28:02.920 Right, right, right.
00:28:03.920 Not Everest.
00:28:04.920 We got two minutes left in the break.
00:28:05.920 Oh!
00:28:06.920 What'd you think of AmericaFest?
00:28:07.920 Oh, dude, it was great.
00:28:08.920 It was awesome.
00:28:09.920 You know, the vibes were high.
00:28:11.920 The amount of people that were here that were young, old, rich, poor, gay, straight,
00:28:16.920 black, white, you know...
00:28:18.920 We even...
00:28:19.920 We even...
00:28:20.920 We even...
00:28:21.920 We even had a shaman.
00:28:22.920 Yeah, yeah.
00:28:23.920 Right.
00:28:24.920 He was around here somewhere.
00:28:25.920 He looks just like you.
00:28:27.920 Oh, yeah.
00:28:28.920 He's just like you.
00:28:29.920 Must be a good-looking guy.
00:28:30.920 Guys, if we're close to the break, I'm leaving you guys.
00:28:34.920 I have to go catch a fight, so...
00:28:36.920 No.
00:28:37.920 I know, I know, but I've had a blast, and I've been here from the very beginning,
00:28:40.920 and I just want...
00:28:41.920 I just want to take this moment to thank Jack here for the...
00:28:44.920 Well, all of the opportunities, and also the wonderful time that we've had together
00:28:48.920 hosting the show.
00:28:49.920 It's been a great, great honor of mine.
00:28:51.920 Thank you so much, Jack, for that.
00:28:53.920 God bless.
00:28:54.920 Well, thank you for coming...
00:28:55.920 All the way from Amsterdam, just for this, and she comes out...
00:28:58.920 By the way, we have some pre-recorded stuff that hasn't even been released yet.
00:29:02.920 Some interviews, special things that'll be coming out over the Christmas break.
00:29:07.920 Ava, what are you doing for Christmas?
00:29:08.920 I am finally gonna go back home and, you know, celebrate with my family.
00:29:12.920 I haven't seen them in a while.
00:29:14.920 I'm all over the place, just traveling, and, you know, I'm a very blessed individual
00:29:17.920 that I get to do all of this stuff.
00:29:19.920 But it would be nice, it will be nice to just be back home with my family,
00:29:22.920 the people that matter most to me, and focus on the birth of our Lord and Savior, so...
00:29:27.920 Are you gonna do any ice skating over there?
00:29:30.920 I don't think it's freezing over there right now, so I don't think we'll be doing any of that.
00:29:34.920 Tell us some Dutch family Christmas traditions.
00:29:37.920 Oh, there you go.
00:29:38.920 Dutch family Christmas traditions, well, I mean, it depends, but obviously I'm gonna go to Mass,
00:29:42.920 so that is still somewhat, I hope at least, a Dutch family tradition.
00:29:46.920 What does your family do?
00:29:47.920 Oh, I mean, we do Christmas gifts, obviously, we sit together, we cook, I like to cook for my family,
00:29:53.920 so we're gonna go do that, and then, you know, one side of the...
00:29:56.920 We actually have two Christmas holidays officially, like in the Netherlands,
00:30:00.920 we have Christmas Day 1 and Christmas Day 2, so you can meet both sides of the family.
00:30:05.920 It's an official thing, so on the 25th, we go to one side, on the 26th, we go to the other side of the family.
00:30:11.920 It's very practical, you know, we're practical-minded people, so...
00:30:14.920 Ladies and gentlemen, the great Ava Blahr, she's flying all the way back to Holland right now.
00:30:19.920 Let's give it up for her.
00:30:21.920 Thank you so much.
00:30:22.920 I think, I think we might be seeing a little more of her on Human Events Daily,
00:30:27.920 and maybe in the U.S. in general.
00:30:29.920 Would you guys like that?
00:30:30.920 Would you guys like that, Ava?
00:30:31.920 What an honor, just what an honor.
00:30:33.920 Merry Christmas.
00:30:34.920 Thank you, guys.
00:30:35.920 Thank you.
00:30:36.920 God bless all of you, and God bless everybody at home.
00:30:38.920 Jack, where's Jack?
00:30:42.920 Where's Jack?
00:30:44.920 Where is he?
00:30:46.920 Jack, I want to see you.
00:30:48.920 Great job, Jack.
00:30:51.920 Thank you.
00:30:52.920 What a job you do.
00:30:53.920 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:30:54.920 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys,
00:30:58.920 and these are the guys who'll be getting Pulisic.
00:31:01.920 We're getting Pulisic.
00:31:03.920 Merry Christmas, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:06.920 We need to be saying Merry Christmas today.
00:31:09.920 You could say it any day of the year, by the way, all around.
00:31:12.920 We've got Libby Emmons with us.
00:31:13.920 We're back here, Human Events Daily, live.
00:31:16.920 America Fest is kind of in its closing stages.
00:31:19.920 Libby, talk to me about the importance of holding events like this in this movement.
00:31:25.920 Why?
00:31:26.920 You know, because we live, we're an internet movement, right, by and large.
00:31:29.920 We're an internet society, by and large, today.
00:31:32.920 Why is it important to hold these events like this here in Meatspace?
00:31:37.920 There is nothing like meeting people in person and getting to know people in person.
00:31:41.920 I have had great experiences the past couple of days meeting people that I've only spoken to online.
00:31:47.920 I met Billboard Chris.
00:31:48.920 Right?
00:31:49.920 That's so cool.
00:31:50.920 He's huge.
00:31:51.920 He's a giant.
00:31:52.920 I had no idea.
00:31:53.920 He's a very tall man.
00:31:54.920 You know who else is big as Prager?
00:31:55.920 Yes.
00:31:56.920 Prager's a giant.
00:31:57.920 It's so great.
00:31:58.920 There's nothing like making friends in person and it gives everybody an opportunity to come
00:32:02.920 together and to actually be friends as opposed to just, you know, random pixels online.
00:32:07.920 So it's essential to create a movement and to, you know, have people go back out into the
00:32:12.920 rest of the country.
00:32:13.920 I will tell you though, and you can see them over here.
00:32:14.920 I don't know if you can see them on camera right now.
00:32:17.920 I have not seen anyone take more selfies with someone than the American shaman Jake
00:32:22.920 and jelly over here.
00:32:24.920 People are still doing it.
00:32:25.920 They've been asking him like crazy.
00:32:27.920 The whole, but every time it's around, let me get a selfie.
00:32:29.920 Let me get a selfie.
00:32:30.920 Let me get a selfie.
00:32:31.920 And it's like to see how he took such a, a negative smear campaign, which they ran on
00:32:36.920 him and then turn it into such a, a blessing and power and just own it.
00:32:42.920 Right.
00:32:43.920 And he, he, I think that's, you know, I could even say it's like he reclaimed, he reclaimed
00:32:47.920 his power.
00:32:48.920 Yeah.
00:32:49.920 I think that's definitely true.
00:32:51.920 But we're just talking about, we're talking about people we met.
00:32:54.920 Who else we got?
00:32:55.920 We got James Lindsay's back there.
00:32:57.920 Well, you had a gentleman on stage today when you were giving your talk.
00:33:00.920 We did.
00:33:01.920 That was really amazing.
00:33:02.920 And a big surprise.
00:33:03.920 Mike Cassidy came up.
00:33:04.920 So the, and, and here on human events, we've been talking about this a lot.
00:33:08.920 The, the satanic statue, which went up in the Iowa state house, there was an individual
00:33:15.920 who came in and tore it down.
00:33:18.920 Yeah.
00:33:19.920 And, you know, I had called and people remember this.
00:33:22.920 I had been calling for Ron DeSantis to do it.
00:33:25.920 And I said, Ron, you know, you want to win the Iowa caucus.
00:33:28.920 Boom.
00:33:29.920 There's your path.
00:33:30.920 Go get it.
00:33:31.920 Right.
00:33:32.920 Go, go get it.
00:33:33.920 Stand up for God.
00:33:34.920 Just stand up for God, stand up for our values, stand up for our way of life.
00:33:37.920 And he just, number one, he wouldn't do it.
00:33:40.920 And then number two, he blamed it on Trump.
00:33:42.920 Right.
00:33:43.920 And he was like, well, Trump, you know, like, like this weird, like, you know, dancing around
00:33:48.920 it and the IRS code, which is like not set by Donald Trump.
00:33:51.920 Like, I don't think he wrote the IRS code, but you know, we'll check community notes to
00:33:56.920 find out about that.
00:33:57.920 Um, and, uh, and then Michael Cassidy just walks in and tears its head off and is like,
00:34:04.920 no, just how about no?
00:34:06.920 How about no?
00:34:07.920 And I love that energy.
00:34:08.920 So it was amazing to bring him up on stage.
00:34:10.920 The crowd was electric.
00:34:12.920 I'm just glad we were able to keep it a surprise.
00:34:14.920 I was totally surprised.
00:34:15.920 I was in the, I was in the auditorium.
00:34:17.920 I was watching your speech and I was like, no, you didn't even tell me.
00:34:21.920 And I was like, great, nicely done.
00:34:23.920 Which is, which is true because, which is real compartmentalization because technically
00:34:27.920 Libby is kind of like my boss at human events because you're the editor in chief.
00:34:31.920 But it's, it's, we, we just had to keep it as tight as we could because I didn't want
00:34:36.920 to get out on X.
00:34:37.920 I didn't want to get out publicly anywhere.
00:34:39.920 We, we actually flew him in.
00:34:40.920 He got in last night and we banged out an interview.
00:34:44.920 Um, and, and I got to tell you, cause I had to keep Bannon and Charlie away from him.
00:34:49.920 That was the big thing.
00:34:50.920 Cause I knew that if they'd been about him, Steve would be like, bring him up, bring him
00:34:53.920 up, bring him up, bring him up, bring him up.
00:34:55.920 You know, or Charlie will, you know, Charlie have him on.
00:34:57.920 It's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:34:58.920 So when are you going to, so you interviewed him too for the show?
00:35:01.920 We did interview him.
00:35:02.920 Um, that will be out.
00:35:04.920 I'll have to talk to producer Fazz, producer Fazz, where's producer Fazz?
00:35:08.920 He's talking.
00:35:09.920 He's not even listening to the show.
00:35:10.920 He's not even paying attention.
00:35:11.920 He's not even listening to the show.
00:35:12.920 Producer Fazz, we're calling you out.
00:35:14.920 No, I say, when does the, so when does, when does Cassidy air?
00:35:21.920 Thursday?
00:35:22.920 Yeah, it looks like, well look, we're shooting for Thursday.
00:35:24.920 We're shooting for it.
00:35:25.920 It might change.
00:35:27.920 This Thursday.
00:35:28.920 All right, he says this Thursday.
00:35:29.920 No change.
00:35:30.920 Thursday.
00:35:31.920 That's going to be exciting.
00:35:32.920 I can't wait to hear about that.
00:35:33.920 We've got a really special one for Fazz.
00:35:35.920 What about tomorrow?
00:35:36.920 Tomorrow?
00:35:37.920 We've got a real, uh, how much time in the show do we have left?
00:35:41.920 All right.
00:35:42.920 We'll tell you at the end of the show.
00:35:44.920 Stick around and be surprised.
00:35:46.920 What can I say?
00:35:47.920 Some of the carnies rubbing off.
00:35:48.920 We'll tell you at the end of the show, folks.
00:35:49.920 If you stick around at the end of the show, we will give you a look ahead as to who tomorrow's
00:35:56.920 interview is on the program.
00:35:58.920 But Libby, you were telling me more about just some of the experience that you had.
00:36:03.920 Uh, you know, what is it like going from, because you run the Postmillennial and Humanevents.com.
00:36:08.920 Right.
00:36:09.920 But it's, it's, it's largely a, it's, it's a remote operation, but there's no offices.
00:36:14.920 Right.
00:36:15.920 There's no, uh, we had an office.
00:36:16.920 We got rid of it.
00:36:17.920 And, you know, what is it like coming to an event like this and then realizing that like,
00:36:22.920 Hey, guess what?
00:36:23.920 People actually read all of those words and see all of those stories.
00:36:27.920 How does that feel?
00:36:28.920 I, you know, it's actually pretty amazing.
00:36:30.920 And one thing that I really love is when the writers for Postmillennial are here and the
00:36:34.920 editors and they're going around and people are like, Oh, I loved your work.
00:36:37.920 I love your work.
00:36:38.920 People are saying that, you know, to Hannah Nightingale, who's been with us a long time.
00:36:41.920 I didn't even know Hannah was coming.
00:36:43.920 It was so cool.
00:36:44.920 Yeah.
00:36:45.920 And I love seeing, I love seeing that.
00:36:46.920 I love seeing them get the, the praise that I think they are due.
00:36:50.920 Um, and I love hearing the, the stories from people of the, the articles that we've run that
00:36:55.920 have affected them personally, that they've taken to heart.
00:36:58.920 There were so many people who came up to me and said, and whether it's J sixers or people
00:37:05.920 who had, uh, issues or just whatever it was, it came up to me and said, or it was the, um,
00:37:10.920 it was a gentleman's name.
00:37:11.920 He got arrested coming out of lady ballers.
00:37:13.920 Oh yes.
00:37:14.920 I also do not remember.
00:37:16.920 He said, you were the first people that told my story.
00:37:19.920 Yeah.
00:37:20.920 You were the first people that told my story.
00:37:22.920 And, and I remember it was post millennial and people remember that stuff.
00:37:27.920 They really do.
00:37:28.920 Do you know what it is?
00:37:29.920 It's, um, so we do work remotely.
00:37:32.920 We don't even always see our coworkers except for a couple of times a quarter really.
00:37:36.920 Yeah.
00:37:37.920 Um, and to, and, and the work that we do, we do the work for the readers, right?
00:37:41.920 That's what we're here for.
00:37:42.920 We're here to give voice to those 72 million people who are essentially annoyed, um, ignored by,
00:37:49.920 by, by corporate media who don't have a voice in most of culture.
00:37:54.920 And we're here for them.
00:37:55.920 That's, that's our mission.
00:37:56.920 That's what we're here for.
00:37:57.920 One thing, one of my favorite things about post millennial too though, so much of the
00:38:01.920 original reporting is, is just how people are being mistreated.
00:38:05.920 Yeah.
00:38:06.920 And that's such a huge deal.
00:38:07.920 Whether it's students, whether it's women, whether it's churches, whether it's, uh, defendants,
00:38:12.920 people being brought up on completely, okay, I'm gonna have to say it trumped up charges.
00:38:17.920 Yeah.
00:38:18.920 Yeah.
00:38:19.920 I'm like, is there any way around that?
00:38:20.920 No, there really isn't.
00:38:21.920 It's sort of a perfect way to say it.
00:38:22.920 English language is the way.
00:38:23.920 Yeah.
00:38:24.920 You know, and, and I've, I've found that even a lot of conservative media, they'll say,
00:38:29.920 oh, we don't want to get into that story.
00:38:31.920 That's too controversial.
00:38:32.920 Or, oh, this hasn't shaken out yet.
00:38:34.920 Like, like Nick Sandman, you know, they're like, oh, I don't want to offend Nick Sandman
00:38:37.920 or Kyle Rittenhouse early on.
00:38:39.920 It was like, oh, I don't want to offend Kyle Rittenhouse early on, but the post millennial
00:38:43.920 and now human events and the post millennial have always been there for these stories.
00:38:47.920 Yeah.
00:38:48.920 That's really important.
00:38:49.920 That's what our mission is.
00:38:50.920 You know, we came out, we came up in 2018, uh, you know, really focused on the culture wars
00:38:56.920 and really focused on exposing some of the lies and misrepresentations in corporate media.
00:39:02.920 And we're still doing that.
00:39:03.920 And that's such a huge thing that we do.
00:39:05.920 It's very important to us.
00:39:06.920 And I think it's important to our readers.
00:39:08.920 And that's one thing that's great about coming out to Tony Porn.
00:39:10.920 Are you able to reveal anything that post millennial and human events have planned for 2024?
00:39:17.920 Now you're putting me on the spot.
00:39:20.920 I am.
00:39:21.920 I so am.
00:39:22.920 We have a lot of great stuff coming.
00:39:23.920 This is my job, by the way.
00:39:24.920 Yeah, I know.
00:39:25.920 That's what you do very well.
00:39:26.920 You do that well.
00:39:27.920 Um, but no, I don't, I can't reveal anything.
00:39:29.920 All right.
00:39:30.920 Anything that we have coming.
00:39:31.920 But we, we do know that, of course, election coverage, I think goes without saying.
00:39:33.920 That's a huge component of what we're going to be doing.
00:39:35.920 We'll really drive.
00:39:37.920 By the way, so I, I have not, this isn't about tomorrow, but I do plan to go to Iowa.
00:39:41.920 Oh, really?
00:39:42.920 When are you going to Iowa?
00:39:43.920 Uh, for the caucus.
00:39:44.920 Nice.
00:39:45.920 So I'll be, that'll be in, I guess, three weeks time.
00:39:48.920 Yeah, that's very soon.
00:39:49.920 Uh, so we plan to go there and it's, uh, you know, we were just talking about, before you came up,
00:39:53.920 the Wim Hof experience.
00:39:54.920 You don't even need to go into the water in Iowa in winter to get the Wim Hof experience.
00:40:00.920 You just walk down the street.
00:40:01.920 And that's what it is.
00:40:02.920 By the way, you know, it's funny.
00:40:03.920 And, uh, Tanya Tay actually spent some time in, living in Iowa when she first came.
00:40:07.920 It's a long story.
00:40:08.920 Um, she was living in Davenport, Iowa.
00:40:10.920 And I, and I asked her, I was like, sweetheart, um, so I'm going to want to go into Iowa.
00:40:14.920 I'm going to be going there for the caucuses.
00:40:16.920 Do you want to come?
00:40:17.920 And she said, when is it?
00:40:18.920 I said, January.
00:40:19.920 She's like, no, no way.
00:40:21.920 Absolutely not.
00:40:22.920 Like Iowa in January.
00:40:23.920 There's something about the wind and the cornfields and the flatness where it is just like piercing.
00:40:28.920 Yeah, I bet it is.
00:40:29.920 Absolutely piercing cold.
00:40:31.920 They actually built in downtown Des Moines.
00:40:33.920 They have a skywalk just so they can walk from building to building so you don't have to walk outside.
00:40:38.920 So that's something I can, I will reveal for now that I do plan to go to Iowa.
00:40:42.920 Oh, that's exciting.
00:40:43.920 Are you going to do shows there and stuff too?
00:40:46.920 Yeah, we will.
00:40:47.920 Because here's the thing.
00:40:48.920 People think that the election is 10 months away.
00:40:51.920 No, it's like 10 days away.
00:40:52.920 Yeah, it's, it's instant.
00:40:53.920 It's happening right away.
00:40:54.920 That these votes will be cast.
00:40:56.920 Human events will be there.
00:41:01.920 I'm working long hours.
00:41:05.920 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:41:08.920 I'm listening to Jack Posobiec.
00:41:14.920 Wait, really?
00:41:15.920 Yeah.
00:41:16.920 Hold on, folks.
00:41:17.920 We have breaking news.
00:41:18.920 Libby Emmons has a story that she's about to break.
00:41:20.920 Would you guys like to hear some breaking news right now?
00:41:23.920 Libby Emmons, lay it on us.
00:41:25.920 Linda Saar Soar, who was an activist and with the Women's March, was arrested.
00:41:30.920 Linda Saar Soar just got arrested!
00:41:33.920 Let's go!
00:41:34.920 She was arrested in the Capitol today after staging a massive-
00:41:37.920 U.S. Capitol?
00:41:38.920 Yeah, protest and demonstration.
00:41:40.920 Okay, so obstruction of congressional proceedings.
00:41:43.920 Insurrection.
00:41:44.920 Hold her right next to the gulags.
00:41:47.920 Right.
00:41:48.920 Right next to the J6ers.
00:41:49.920 I want her in there.
00:41:50.920 I want her treated just the same.
00:41:52.920 I want Linda Saar Soar treated the same as everybody.
00:41:55.920 You know, it was-
00:41:56.920 And I'll give credit to where it's due.
00:41:57.920 Laura Loomer was one of the first people to call out the Women's March and Linda Saar Soar
00:42:02.920 and the fact that she was like, you guys have an anti-Semitism problem.
00:42:06.920 They sure do have an anti-Semitism problem.
00:42:07.920 Nobody wanted to hear it.
00:42:08.920 Nobody wanted to hear it.
00:42:09.920 Nobody wanted to hear it.
00:42:10.920 But now there she is in the Capitol today.
00:42:12.920 Marjorie Taylor Greene broke the news on Twitter and she was very excited to call it
00:42:15.920 an insurrection.
00:42:16.920 Amazing.
00:42:17.920 It's really interesting.
00:42:18.920 It's just so amazing.
00:42:19.920 And you look at the people.
00:42:20.920 We got Brick Suit.
00:42:21.920 I saw we got Billboard Chris back there.
00:42:24.920 Yep.
00:42:25.920 Chrissy Meyers here.
00:42:26.920 What's up?
00:42:27.920 We got everybody.
00:42:28.920 We got everybody.
00:42:29.920 We got everybody still here.
00:42:31.920 Sticking around, folks.
00:42:32.920 We're sticking around.
00:42:33.920 We're closing out America Vest.
00:42:35.920 You know, I think this might actually- Who's here?
00:42:39.920 Oh, James Clear.
00:42:40.920 What's up?
00:42:41.920 So we've- This is actually- This might be the last segment that we do live for the year.
00:42:45.920 That's really amazing.
00:42:46.920 It's been an incredible year on human events.
00:42:49.920 I would say it's a building year.
00:42:51.920 Yeah.
00:42:52.920 This was the year that got us into the right position for- It's like a chess match, right?
00:42:58.920 So before you make your attack run, you know, you want to get all your positions very carefully-
00:43:05.920 All your pieces- Right.
00:43:06.920 ... carefully in position.
00:43:08.920 So your pawns, your knight, your bishop, your rookies.
00:43:10.920 Was there a favorite assignment that you had this year?
00:43:14.920 I mean, you've had so many fascinating things that you covered.
00:43:18.920 The whole year, the stories we covered- Favorite.
00:43:23.920 Favorite.
00:43:24.920 Favorite.
00:43:25.920 A favorite story of all this year.
00:43:31.920 Well, I got to say it, folks.
00:43:34.920 You know, my- All right, you said favorite story.
00:43:38.920 Favorite.
00:43:39.920 Maybe not the most impactful.
00:43:40.920 Maybe not the most serious story of the year.
00:43:43.920 I got to go.
00:43:44.920 And Brick Suit knows, Brick Suit knows, if I have to say what personally, the story that
00:43:49.920 was the most fun this year, it was Bootgate.
00:43:52.920 It was-
00:43:53.920 Bootgate!
00:43:54.920 Ah!
00:43:55.920 It's got to be Bootgate Foss, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:59.920 That is so funny.
00:44:00.920 That story was just-
00:44:01.920 There we go.
00:44:02.920 Yeah, he's got it right there.
00:44:03.920 He's like, you just go up a little bit.
00:44:04.920 I'm telling you, man, that was- And it wasn't even so much the story itself, it was the way
00:44:09.920 they reacted to the story-
00:44:11.920 Yes, they freaked out.
00:44:12.920 They just freaked out.
00:44:13.920 And Tucker talked about them last night, the zero-sum game, and just twisting these guys
00:44:17.920 around and bouncing them up, and it was, you know, it was, it was, it was, uh, personally,
00:44:22.920 I thought that was a lot of fun.
00:44:23.920 I thought that was fun too, and I remember being on Timcast, and we were talking about
00:44:27.920 Bootgate, and we all just started looking for the boots online, and we found them.
00:44:32.920 We found them for sale.
00:44:34.920 And they had these massive- and by the way, I hear it on good authority.
00:44:38.920 I have it on good authority that he specifically goes around telling people that these, that
00:44:44.920 I need to wear these boots, because they make me 5'10".
00:44:47.920 Right?
00:44:48.920 It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George would not take off his Timberlands.
00:44:52.920 Right, and then he, and then George, George actually takes the Sharpie to the Timberlands.
00:44:56.920 Right.
00:44:57.920 And, and I think they're at like a wedding in India, right?
00:44:59.920 They're in a wedding in India, and he won't take his Timberlands off.
00:45:02.920 That's a backwards episode, right?
00:45:03.920 Yeah, that's the one that refers.
00:45:04.920 That's a backwards episode, and Kramer's got the lollipop, and it gets bigger, and they
00:45:08.920 ask him, are those Timberlands with Sharpie all over them?
00:45:11.920 And you look at it, no, it was, it was a fun story.
00:45:14.920 Really, the primaries have just been, I tell you the truth, the primaries have been a little
00:45:19.920 bit of a disappointment.
00:45:20.920 They haven't really been very energized, yeah.
00:45:22.920 You know, I will say one thing that I really thought was interesting is watching the, the
00:45:27.920 sort of transformation, I will say, of Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:45:30.920 Oh, that's interesting for sure.
00:45:31.920 And being able to cover that in real time, how he kind of went from like this, this guy
00:45:36.920 who was just sort of, just sort of an anti-woke guy to now being like a full-on based truth-teller,
00:45:43.920 and I love that so much.
00:45:45.920 I love breaking stories about that.
00:45:47.920 I love breaking stories about the World Economic Forum.
00:45:49.920 For sure.
00:45:50.920 What Klaus Schwab is up to going in and just being proven right about so many things when
00:45:56.920 it comes to globalists.
00:45:57.920 We got Kay Poso.
00:45:58.920 We got Kay Poso here, you know, got to see him.
00:46:01.920 And, you know, we got to take the kids over, we got to take the kids to Europe this year.
00:46:05.920 That was, that was really interesting.
00:46:06.920 We did CPAC Japan as well.
00:46:07.920 CPAC Japan was very cool.
00:46:09.920 Yeah.
00:46:10.920 And really got to, we went to Lourdes in, in France.
00:46:14.920 And for Catholics, you know, the Lourdes is very, very, very important.
00:46:16.920 And it's just been, it's been a year about, but that being said, like 2024 is everything.
00:46:22.920 Yeah.
00:46:23.920 It's a huge deal.
00:46:24.920 It's really everything.
00:46:25.920 And I don't know how it'll go, but it may be the final battle for our Republic.
00:46:31.920 It may be the final battle for this stand of freedom, for this brand of populism.
00:46:36.920 And if, if, if populism will succeed, it's going to do so in 2024.
00:46:41.920 And, and I said, I would announce this for people who stuck around.
00:46:45.920 So I might as well that tomorrow on the show, we have a sit down in person full interview.
00:46:58.920 With Tucker Carlson.
00:47:02.920 I'm stoked for this one.
00:47:03.920 I cannot wait to see it.
00:47:04.920 It's in the can, it's in the can for yes, from yesterday.
00:47:07.920 And, uh, look, we get into, we get into it all.
00:47:10.920 And, and Tucker and I have actually, you know, we've been chatting about it for a while.
00:47:14.920 And we finally were able to make it happen.
00:47:17.920 Am Fest miracle and all that.
00:47:19.920 Folks, did you have a good time at America Fest?
00:47:22.920 Are you ready?
00:47:23.920 There's Michelle.
00:47:24.920 She put all of this together, by the way.
00:47:26.920 People don't know about Michelle Todd.
00:47:27.920 Folks, God bless you.
00:47:30.920 God bless your families.
00:47:33.920 God bless this country.
00:47:35.920 And can I just say, if we're going to go out on something.
00:47:38.920 We wish you a Merry Christmas.
00:47:42.920 We wish you a Merry Christmas.
00:47:46.920 We wish you a Merry Christmas.
00:47:49.920 And a Happy New Year.
00:47:53.920 That's what it's all about, folks.
00:47:55.920 That's what it's all about.
00:47:56.920 Be good to each other.
00:47:58.920 Have a Merry, Merry Christmas, Libby Evans.
00:47:59.920 Merry Christmas, Jack.
00:48:00.920 Merry Christmas.
00:48:01.920 Merry Christmas to your beautiful family.
00:48:02.920 Merry Christmas, Brick Suit.
00:48:03.920 Merry Christmas, everybody.
00:48:05.920 Merry Christmas, Kevin Posobiec.
00:48:07.920 Merry Christmas, Christy Meyer.
00:48:08.920 Merry Christmas to it all.
00:48:10.920 And to all, a good night.
