A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.740
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:51.400
I am taking you all the way from the Netherlands.
00:00:54.720
And boy, when I stand on a stage like this with these smoke machines and everything, do
00:01:06.940
We don't have anything like this going on in Europe.
00:01:17.620
And it is an absolute honor to be here and to be a part of it.
00:01:34.300
When I go to events like this here in your beautiful country, and I meet so many extraordinary
00:01:40.200
people like yourselves, I get exactly why they call this country of yours, the land of the
00:01:55.240
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard another edition of Human Events Daily.
00:01:58.960
I'm your Florida Bureau Chief, Kevin Posobiec, coming to you live December 19th, 2023, Year
00:02:16.280
To my right, the blessed and highly favored Ava Vlar and Blake Neff.
00:02:21.380
And to the right is just some trespasser here, so.
00:02:39.600
She's been a great guest of ours, co-hosting this whole event.
00:02:44.360
And today is her day, so we'd like to give her the floor as, you know.
00:02:55.940
Tell us, you've heard of Turning Point from afar, very far.
00:03:00.200
And how did it match up to what you had heard of it?
00:03:06.360
Give us your assessment of Turning Point America Fest as an event.
00:03:10.260
Well, I will tell you, I only heard great things about Turning Point.
00:03:13.380
You know, I was told that Charlie Kirk built an empire here, and I think that that has now been proven to me.
00:03:18.680
So, it's been an absolute honor, as I said a trillion times before, to be a part of this.
00:03:26.760
And as the audience just saw, I opened my speech saying, God bless the United States of America.
00:03:32.080
Man, you guys know how to put a party together.
00:03:35.700
And even with the political things, you know, we don't have events that look like that.
00:03:40.540
We don't have the smoke machines, we don't have the fireworks, and we especially don't have crowds like this.
00:03:45.400
Not yet, because I do need to call Charlie and set up Turning Point EU now.
00:03:51.920
Blake's been telling us we need to bring back the cash cannon.
00:03:56.600
You know, I actually spoke, I was the guy, you know, the infamous cash cannon incident.
00:04:00.700
So, I was the act immediately after the cash cannon.
00:04:04.220
And I believe it was a panel on money and politics.
00:04:08.080
If it works at an NFL game, we should do it at Turning Point event.
00:04:14.240
Yeah, other than kneeling for the anthem and hating the fans.
00:04:17.100
Wait, Blake, are you saying that you watch sports ball?
00:04:33.460
So, this is not day one, not day two, not day three.
00:04:36.880
And at first, I was like, Charlie, put me on day four.
00:04:45.020
But then I realized it was, right, right, the last will be first.
00:04:47.000
And so, I realized it was a stacked deck today.
00:04:53.800
And then Ted Cruz batting cleanup for all of us.
00:05:04.020
Because they know this is, it's sort of the calm before the storm.
00:05:08.740
Now, Ava, of course, and we've talked a lot this week about how you guys just had your election.
00:05:17.220
By the way, not in 10 months, but in like 10 days.
00:05:20.760
Because the Iowa caucuses, that's our first round of the primary.
00:05:25.800
And I mean, what's going to happen here in America is going to dictate what's going to happen to the rest of the Western world.
00:05:30.120
I mean, you know, they can say whatever they want, but as far as I'm concerned, America is still the superpower of the world.
00:05:35.740
So, if things go well here, that means even more hope for us.
00:05:40.100
And, you know, we set a great example now with Geert Wilders.
00:05:42.400
Even if our coalition formation process fails, we just heard this morning that he now, in the most recent polls, is looking at 47 seats out of 150.
00:05:56.320
And it's 10 more than he got just a few weeks ago in the general election.
00:06:05.000
And so, now he's looking at 47 seats out of 150.
00:06:10.160
All right, we're coming up on a quick break, folks.
00:06:25.320
You can't be listening to all that slappy, whack, trim out of Zalitzabam ship, nippy-bam-bam, like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:07:01.920
Real America's Voice is a news platform dedicated to keeping people informed.
00:07:11.920
Pushing this compliance, these flight attendants are over it, people are over it, and now they're speaking out.
00:07:16.920
Headlines from here in the U.S. and around the globe.
00:07:19.920
The invasion by illegal aliens south of the border.
00:07:26.920
Politics into our classrooms, here and at home.
00:07:36.920
Real America's Voice is a news platform dedicated to keeping people informed.
00:07:41.920
Your CCP, the Chinese Communist Party, these guys are gangsters.
00:07:46.920
Headlines from here in the U.S. and around the globe.
00:07:49.920
And the reality, so Lori Lightfoot lost her reelection yesterday and she lost it badly.
00:07:56.920
Bringing thousands of bottle of water, Trump water actually, most of it.
00:08:09.920
It's not as, you know, it's not as one-sided as, you know, the current polling in the primaries for president.
00:08:22.920
And then a good number of write-ins, but no one over a few percent.
00:08:25.920
What do you guys, what do you guys think about this idea?
00:08:28.920
Take a guy like Tucker Carlson, who, and I'll ask Eva, because you've done Tucker more than any of us.
00:08:36.920
Except for someone who was behind the scenes on the show.
00:08:38.920
That people know Blake used to do a lot of the writing on there.
00:08:41.920
Before you decided to become a famous internet celebrity.
00:08:50.920
He has a secret OnlyFans that I'm the only subscriber to actually.
00:09:07.920
So, you have a guy like Trump, who's not a politician.
00:09:11.920
And then a guy like Tucker, who also is not a politician, total outsider.
00:09:18.920
I mean, everybody loves Trump and everybody loves Tucker, right?
00:09:22.920
And so, Tucker himself, when asked about this, said, I am an outsider.
00:09:29.920
And the thing is, you know, I'm obviously, I'm Tucker's girl.
00:09:35.920
My first hit on American TV was with Tucker Carlson about two years ago.
00:09:42.920
And I've done multiple segments with him and even a documentary.
00:09:45.920
So, you know, my loyalty lies with Tucker all the way.
00:09:50.920
You've got to say, like, well, I've done some, you've got to put the distance, right?
00:09:54.920
You know, I've done some hits with him, but, you know.
00:10:02.920
I'm like, I've never seen this man before in my life.
00:10:05.920
I don't play it cool when it comes to Tucker Carlson.
00:10:07.920
So, you know, the thing with Tucker is everybody loves him.
00:10:09.920
I am almost at the point where I would say, Tucker, you know, is VP enough for Tucker Carlson?
00:10:18.920
So, I had a chance to spend a little brief time with Tucker, and I've heard him talk about
00:10:27.920
He's always interested in, Blake, you know, he wants everything.
00:10:31.920
The aliens, JFK, the truth about the Titanic, the truth about the fall of Rome.
00:10:38.920
And so, what I said to him was, I flipped it on him.
00:10:40.920
I said, you know, Tucker, if you were in the White House, you would be right in, right,
00:10:46.920
the saddle seat there, right riding shotgun on the declassification of whatever you want.
00:10:52.920
I didn't say anything, but I noticed a little, a little twinkle.
00:11:03.920
Well, he wanted to be, right, he applied, I think, at one point, and they were like, no,
00:11:10.920
We can't let you be, can't let you be in the CIA.
00:11:12.920
But, Kev, what, Kev, when you're, when you're looking at AmericaFest, you know, you've
00:11:16.920
been to a bunch of these, you've been to other turning point events.
00:11:19.920
You know, what's your analysis of this event as it rides out?
00:11:23.920
Well, as it rides out, I was, I was looking for some extra energy coming in and it delivered.
00:11:33.920
It's just been full jam-packed, like you said, full speakers.
00:11:36.920
And this is like game time for the election coming.
00:11:55.920
Events everywhere, merch, after parties, like people just hanging out, getting together.
00:12:03.920
Oh, Kev, I heard about you at the after parties, by the way.
00:12:08.920
I'm not going to say anything to the Arizona Republic, but definitely don't file a freedom
00:12:13.920
of information request with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office with the name Kevin Joseph
00:12:21.920
I don't know, you might find a little something.
00:12:26.920
No, I've told you plenty of times before, Jack, the one thing about the left is they're
00:12:30.920
always united at the end of the day, from the grassroots.
00:12:34.920
Something that I would criticize the right about is like, except for events like this,
00:12:38.920
where we are drawn together and we can have the ability to unify and get each other's
00:12:45.920
numbers and stay connected on social media, get on each other's sites.
00:12:52.920
You kind of looked at him when you said that, Kev.
00:13:03.920
Oh, they even had a speed dating event here, right?
00:13:06.920
The speed dating was like, we were, so they had the line for it, you know, and people are
00:13:12.920
But the speed dating line where, Blake, you actually won that, right?
00:13:19.920
So it was students only, there's liability issues, it was a whole thing.
00:13:21.920
I tried to talk to our good friend about that, but, you know, it was what it was.
00:13:26.920
And that event, though, we had this, the line went from the door back there all the way
00:13:49.920
The initial part is, because this had always been, and just so, and Blake, you probably
00:13:53.920
know some of these, that, you know, we've been saying this on ThoughtCrime, the greatest
00:14:04.920
And to your point, Jack, like, you were saying, like, it's almost like people need permission,
00:14:14.920
And like, get each other's numbers or date or anything.
00:14:16.920
Yeah, it's like, you have, like, unless you're on a certain app, like, people communicate
00:14:22.920
differently on X versus LinkedIn versus Tinder versus Instagram.
00:14:26.920
Look, folks, every app is a date, every app is a dating app if you're good at it.
00:14:30.920
Being from the centennial generation, it's like, you just.
00:14:39.920
That's, that's in the Jack, that's in the post day game master course.
00:14:44.920
You can sign up for that after your James O'Keefe citizen journalism class.
00:14:49.920
But, Blake, you've talked about this, too, that, that when it comes to, especially Zoomers
00:14:53.920
and dating, it's, it's not so much the women, it's the men, isn't it?
00:14:56.920
Yeah, it's, everyone's very messed up about things.
00:15:01.920
They're all, they're all trapped inside all day.
00:15:11.920
And it's like, I bet if you ran the numbers, it'll just be, you get these like 25% of people
00:15:19.920
Well, keep in mind, we also live in a time where it's like, if you go to the gym and you see
00:15:24.920
a TikTok girl in the gym and she's doing like her stuff and you, you look over to see why
00:15:41.920
You can't matriculate at a US college without about five days of propaganda that is like,
00:15:49.920
I saw, I saw the rise of wokeness in the Navy, like, as I was getting out.
00:15:53.920
And this, you would go through these trainings and it was like, okay, so don't ever talk to
00:16:03.920
They're complaining that, you know, young women in academia are saying, I can't get a
00:16:08.920
I can't get mentorship because all these people are just saying, well, nix it entirely.
00:16:15.920
Never be in an elevator with a woman alone, all of that nonsense.
00:16:23.920
I would like to say, though, being at a gym in Tampa Bay, sometimes if you get to go
00:16:29.920
and see a woman in the gym and you are polite and well-mannered, they will talk to you.
00:16:43.920
I'm just saying, the example is like with the two dogs.
00:16:50.920
But if you take them off the leash, most of the time they won't actually fight each other.
00:17:07.920
This guy just told me he put up 2,45 the other day.
00:17:34.920
Truth be told, I never said put in a gym anyway, so I don't know.
00:17:39.920
Only Americans are the fattest and fittest people in the world.
00:17:48.920
It's nowhere near as widespread, but it's starting.
00:17:54.920
Apparently, we're fixing all the problems of the world.
00:18:06.920
So, shout out to the Berkeley Springs Castle, apparently, from thought crime.
00:18:10.920
And we'll be right back here, turning point, closing out AmericaFest.
00:18:42.920
I got to say, man, I remember there was a little issue at this last AtCon over the summer.
00:18:45.920
And the Secret Service basically wasn't letting people in because we had, what, like 12,000 people there and they only had one scanner.
00:19:03.920
So, there's, you remember, you know what I'm talking about, right?
00:19:04.920
So, there was this line all the way around the block in sweltering, humid West Palm Beach, Florida, middle of July.
00:19:15.920
And, and everybody's like, why won't Charlie let us in?
00:19:34.920
Charlie went out there and he shook the hand of every single person that was waiting in that line.
00:19:47.920
Blake, I remember Charlie was a little less than pleased that day.
00:19:54.920
Could you compare Charlie then to Charlie at AmFest?
00:20:00.920
You know, I've been here about, you know, a little over a year.
00:20:04.920
And this is by far the smoothest one, I can tell.
00:20:09.920
And also, Charlie, he actually has a lot in common with Tucker in this regard.
00:20:14.920
Even if, you know, even if stuff is going very difficult behind the scenes.
00:20:18.920
You know, he gets out, shakes everyone's hand, acts very upbeat, very energetic.
00:20:23.920
And that's the best thing he has going for him.
00:20:28.920
He's just like, you know, if everyone took the Sabbath like I do, take one day a week,
00:20:38.920
He got, you know, 13,000 maybe more people to come to an event.
00:20:49.920
And we've built all of this up in a very short amount of time.
00:20:52.920
Actually, one of his, you know, Ava, you may appreciate this because one of Charlie's secret weapons,
00:20:57.920
we talked about it a little bit on the show recently, one of his secret weapons, Wim Hof,
00:21:06.920
I mean, it makes me understand why he's so resilient then.
00:21:09.920
And if you're on your feet and you're doing this type of work such in a high intensity life,
00:21:16.920
And if he's doing the Wim Hof stuff, then that makes sense that he never gets sick.
00:21:37.920
I saw videos pulling many bicycles out of here.
00:21:51.920
In all fairness, I was in a part of the town where we were close to the river.
00:21:54.920
So, I had a little bit more clean water coming in.
00:21:56.920
But still, I mean, you know, like, I'm still standing.
00:22:00.920
A little bit of dirty water never killed nobody.
00:22:02.920
But would you go in, like, in the winter months?
00:22:07.920
I mean, you know, not for too long because I don't want to freeze to death.
00:22:13.920
It's like a real, total, cultural thing out there.
00:22:23.920
Because Charlie's like, Charlie's always like, you mentioned, you know, Blake, you know, you mentioned cold plunge to Charlie.
00:22:31.920
I think it's just exposure to, well, I mean, in this case, extreme cold.
00:22:35.920
But in general, you know, that was the problem with the pandemic, of course.
00:22:40.920
And so, we would never get exposed to anything.
00:22:42.920
But if you never get exposed to anything, the moment you do, you get super sick.
00:22:47.920
Just like sports athletes, like pitchers, they put ice packs on their arms after they pitch.
00:22:56.920
Like, instead of exfoliation, it closes your pores.
00:22:59.920
But, yeah, it reduces, like, initial, like, emotions.
00:23:05.920
If you're, like, having anxiety, depression is one of the things they claim cold showers are benefits for.
00:23:11.920
As well as just physically, like, reducing inflammation.
00:23:14.920
I don't remember if Charlie said that on air or off, but he said the same thing about depression.
00:23:18.920
Yeah, he says, like, once you've done a cold plunge, you can't feel depressed the rest of the day, I think is what he claimed.
00:23:23.920
Others say it's almost as potent as, like, a, you know, a good strong cup of coffee in the morning.
00:23:29.920
It seems to basically be credited with everything.
00:23:31.920
And since he's the one who does it, I suppose he's probably correct.
00:23:34.920
And from our perspective, Jack, with Catholics, it's an aesthetic discipline that we do in, like, the Exodus 90 program.
00:23:40.920
Shout out to anybody doing that this coming Lent, Exodus 90.
00:23:46.920
Because everybody just wants to be comfortable, take a hot shower.
00:23:49.920
But, yeah, I kind of make fun of the guys down in Florida because the groundwater doesn't get much past, like, 60.
00:23:55.920
But up north, Pennsylvania, probably Amsterdam for sure.
00:24:00.920
I'm always kind of amazed at what the Wim Hof method.
00:24:03.920
I mean, this was proven somewhere in the 19th, right?
00:24:05.920
So he went to a Dutch university and they were like, okay, we're going to test this man.
00:24:09.920
And the idea was that he could self-regulate his temperature, right?
00:24:14.920
And now I think to myself, probably in this day and age, no university would ever go and, like, have that formula.
00:24:23.920
Because they wouldn't want big pharma to miss out on a few extra billions a year, you know, by just being able to self-regulate.
00:24:28.920
So I'm always surprised that that information is, like, out there for us because usually they try to suppress that.
00:24:35.920
So if you don't have heat, then the bacteria dies for, like, many infections and diseases.
00:24:43.920
It's like the health benefits of fasting, which are pretty well attested, but it'll almost never be recommended because it's literally free.
00:24:51.920
In fact, you save money because you're not buying food.
00:24:54.920
So Blake is, you're not really a cold plunge guy, right?
00:25:00.920
So what's your, what's your, I remember I asked you about this once on thought crime.
00:25:13.920
Is it a black fast or what do you do during the seven and a half days?
00:25:15.920
Once you get going, it's like a stone rolling downhill.
00:25:20.920
And after that, like, you don't really feel hungry.
00:25:22.920
It's mostly just the way you've broken up your habits so much.
00:25:26.920
And you're always thinking, I should eat right now.
00:25:35.920
I've done, I've done like two and a half days as much, which was recent.
00:25:41.920
And it actually had to do because I was like on a flight and there was a time change and I just didn't eat.
00:25:49.920
And then I didn't eat the one day and I ate the next day and then I just kept going and I just kept not eating.
00:25:56.920
And we were on the flight back from Eastern Europe recently and I did about two and a half and it was the same way.
00:26:02.920
Zero calorie electrolyte drinks because when you start to feel those hunger pangs, that's really just electrolyte craving.
00:26:13.920
No, I mean, I, the fasting is interesting, but then I hear conflicting stories about whether it's good for young women in their fertile, you know, life period of their life.
00:26:23.920
They say no and I don't know, you know, so I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna eat.
00:26:27.920
Well, there's always the Black Fast on Good Friday as well.
00:26:48.920
He's coming over, ladies and gentlemen, here at America Fest.
00:26:52.920
You never know who's gonna come up, who's gonna be there.
00:27:03.920
Ava, our first interview is also our last interview.
00:27:12.920
Speaking of shamanism, we were just talking about fasting and detoxing, cold plunges.
00:27:15.920
Do you do any of that or no Wim Hof or anything?
00:27:21.920
How do you think I stayed warm in D.C. in January with no shirt on?
00:27:39.920
So you can actually regulate your body temperature so you don't overheat.
00:27:54.920
Well, because Wim Hof, he, like, claims going up Everest in shorts and stuff.
00:28:11.920
The amount of people that were here that were young, old, rich, poor, gay, straight,
00:28:30.920
Guys, if we're close to the break, I'm leaving you guys.
00:28:37.920
I know, I know, but I've had a blast, and I've been here from the very beginning,
00:28:41.920
I just want to take this moment to thank Jack here for the...
00:28:44.920
Well, all of the opportunities, and also the wonderful time that we've had together
00:28:55.920
All the way from Amsterdam, just for this, and she comes out...
00:28:58.920
By the way, we have some pre-recorded stuff that hasn't even been released yet.
00:29:02.920
Some interviews, special things that'll be coming out over the Christmas break.
00:29:08.920
I am finally gonna go back home and, you know, celebrate with my family.
00:29:14.920
I'm all over the place, just traveling, and, you know, I'm a very blessed individual
00:29:19.920
But it would be nice, it will be nice to just be back home with my family,
00:29:22.920
the people that matter most to me, and focus on the birth of our Lord and Savior, so...
00:29:30.920
I don't think it's freezing over there right now, so I don't think we'll be doing any of that.
00:29:34.920
Tell us some Dutch family Christmas traditions.
00:29:38.920
Dutch family Christmas traditions, well, I mean, it depends, but obviously I'm gonna go to Mass,
00:29:42.920
so that is still somewhat, I hope at least, a Dutch family tradition.
00:29:47.920
Oh, I mean, we do Christmas gifts, obviously, we sit together, we cook, I like to cook for my family,
00:29:53.920
so we're gonna go do that, and then, you know, one side of the...
00:29:56.920
We actually have two Christmas holidays officially, like in the Netherlands,
00:30:00.920
we have Christmas Day 1 and Christmas Day 2, so you can meet both sides of the family.
00:30:05.920
It's an official thing, so on the 25th, we go to one side, on the 26th, we go to the other side of the family.
00:30:11.920
It's very practical, you know, we're practical-minded people, so...
00:30:14.920
Ladies and gentlemen, the great Ava Blahr, she's flying all the way back to Holland right now.
00:30:22.920
I think, I think we might be seeing a little more of her on Human Events Daily,
00:30:36.920
God bless all of you, and God bless everybody at home.
00:30:54.920
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys,
00:30:58.920
and these are the guys who'll be getting Pulisic.
00:31:09.920
You could say it any day of the year, by the way, all around.
00:31:19.920
Libby, talk to me about the importance of holding events like this in this movement.
00:31:26.920
You know, because we live, we're an internet movement, right, by and large.
00:31:29.920
We're an internet society, by and large, today.
00:31:32.920
Why is it important to hold these events like this here in Meatspace?
00:31:37.920
There is nothing like meeting people in person and getting to know people in person.
00:31:41.920
I have had great experiences the past couple of days meeting people that I've only spoken to online.
00:31:58.920
There's nothing like making friends in person and it gives everybody an opportunity to come
00:32:02.920
together and to actually be friends as opposed to just, you know, random pixels online.
00:32:07.920
So it's essential to create a movement and to, you know, have people go back out into the
00:32:13.920
I will tell you though, and you can see them over here.
00:32:14.920
I don't know if you can see them on camera right now.
00:32:17.920
I have not seen anyone take more selfies with someone than the American shaman Jake
00:32:27.920
The whole, but every time it's around, let me get a selfie.
00:32:31.920
And it's like to see how he took such a, a negative smear campaign, which they ran on
00:32:36.920
him and then turn it into such a, a blessing and power and just own it.
00:32:43.920
And he, he, I think that's, you know, I could even say it's like he reclaimed, he reclaimed
00:32:51.920
But we're just talking about, we're talking about people we met.
00:32:57.920
Well, you had a gentleman on stage today when you were giving your talk.
00:33:04.920
So the, and, and here on human events, we've been talking about this a lot.
00:33:08.920
The, the satanic statue, which went up in the Iowa state house, there was an individual
00:33:19.920
And, you know, I had called and people remember this.
00:33:25.920
And I said, Ron, you know, you want to win the Iowa caucus.
00:33:34.920
Just stand up for God, stand up for our values, stand up for our way of life.
00:33:43.920
And he was like, well, Trump, you know, like, like this weird, like, you know, dancing around
00:33:48.920
it and the IRS code, which is like not set by Donald Trump.
00:33:51.920
Like, I don't think he wrote the IRS code, but you know, we'll check community notes to
00:33:57.920
Um, and, uh, and then Michael Cassidy just walks in and tears its head off and is like,
00:34:12.920
I'm just glad we were able to keep it a surprise.
00:34:17.920
I was watching your speech and I was like, no, you didn't even tell me.
00:34:23.920
Which is, which is true because, which is real compartmentalization because technically
00:34:27.920
Libby is kind of like my boss at human events because you're the editor in chief.
00:34:31.920
But it's, it's, we, we just had to keep it as tight as we could because I didn't want
00:34:40.920
He got in last night and we banged out an interview.
00:34:44.920
Um, and, and I got to tell you, cause I had to keep Bannon and Charlie away from him.
00:34:50.920
Cause I knew that if they'd been about him, Steve would be like, bring him up, bring him
00:34:55.920
You know, or Charlie will, you know, Charlie have him on.
00:34:58.920
So when are you going to, so you interviewed him too for the show?
00:35:04.920
I'll have to talk to producer Fazz, producer Fazz, where's producer Fazz?
00:35:14.920
No, I say, when does the, so when does, when does Cassidy air?
00:35:22.920
Yeah, it looks like, well look, we're shooting for Thursday.
00:35:37.920
We've got a real, uh, how much time in the show do we have left?
00:35:49.920
If you stick around at the end of the show, we will give you a look ahead as to who tomorrow's
00:35:58.920
But Libby, you were telling me more about just some of the experience that you had.
00:36:03.920
Uh, you know, what is it like going from, because you run the Postmillennial and Humanevents.com.
00:36:09.920
But it's, it's, it's largely a, it's, it's a remote operation, but there's no offices.
00:36:17.920
And, you know, what is it like coming to an event like this and then realizing that like,
00:36:23.920
People actually read all of those words and see all of those stories.
00:36:30.920
And one thing that I really love is when the writers for Postmillennial are here and the
00:36:34.920
editors and they're going around and people are like, Oh, I loved your work.
00:36:38.920
People are saying that, you know, to Hannah Nightingale, who's been with us a long time.
00:36:46.920
I love seeing them get the, the praise that I think they are due.
00:36:50.920
Um, and I love hearing the, the stories from people of the, the articles that we've run that
00:36:55.920
have affected them personally, that they've taken to heart.
00:36:58.920
There were so many people who came up to me and said, and whether it's J sixers or people
00:37:05.920
who had, uh, issues or just whatever it was, it came up to me and said, or it was the, um,
00:37:16.920
He said, you were the first people that told my story.
00:37:22.920
And, and I remember it was post millennial and people remember that stuff.
00:37:32.920
We don't even always see our coworkers except for a couple of times a quarter really.
00:37:37.920
Um, and to, and, and the work that we do, we do the work for the readers, right?
00:37:42.920
We're here to give voice to those 72 million people who are essentially annoyed, um, ignored by,
00:37:49.920
by, by corporate media who don't have a voice in most of culture.
00:37:57.920
One thing, one of my favorite things about post millennial too though, so much of the
00:38:01.920
original reporting is, is just how people are being mistreated.
00:38:07.920
Whether it's students, whether it's women, whether it's churches, whether it's, uh, defendants,
00:38:12.920
people being brought up on completely, okay, I'm gonna have to say it trumped up charges.
00:38:24.920
You know, and, and I've, I've found that even a lot of conservative media, they'll say,
00:38:34.920
Like, like Nick Sandman, you know, they're like, oh, I don't want to offend Nick Sandman
00:38:39.920
It was like, oh, I don't want to offend Kyle Rittenhouse early on, but the post millennial
00:38:43.920
and now human events and the post millennial have always been there for these stories.
00:38:50.920
You know, we came out, we came up in 2018, uh, you know, really focused on the culture wars
00:38:56.920
and really focused on exposing some of the lies and misrepresentations in corporate media.
00:39:08.920
And that's one thing that's great about coming out to Tony Porn.
00:39:10.920
Are you able to reveal anything that post millennial and human events have planned for 2024?
00:39:31.920
But we, we do know that, of course, election coverage, I think goes without saying.
00:39:33.920
That's a huge component of what we're going to be doing.
00:39:37.920
By the way, so I, I have not, this isn't about tomorrow, but I do plan to go to Iowa.
00:39:45.920
So I'll be, that'll be in, I guess, three weeks time.
00:39:49.920
Uh, so we plan to go there and it's, uh, you know, we were just talking about, before you came up,
00:39:54.920
You don't even need to go into the water in Iowa in winter to get the Wim Hof experience.
00:40:03.920
And, uh, Tanya Tay actually spent some time in, living in Iowa when she first came.
00:40:10.920
And I, and I asked her, I was like, sweetheart, um, so I'm going to want to go into Iowa.
00:40:23.920
There's something about the wind and the cornfields and the flatness where it is just like piercing.
00:40:33.920
They have a skywalk just so they can walk from building to building so you don't have to walk outside.
00:40:38.920
So that's something I can, I will reveal for now that I do plan to go to Iowa.
00:40:48.920
People think that the election is 10 months away.
00:41:05.920
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:41:18.920
Libby Emmons has a story that she's about to break.
00:41:20.920
Would you guys like to hear some breaking news right now?
00:41:25.920
Linda Saar Soar, who was an activist and with the Women's March, was arrested.
00:41:34.920
She was arrested in the Capitol today after staging a massive-
00:41:40.920
Okay, so obstruction of congressional proceedings.
00:41:52.920
I want Linda Saar Soar treated the same as everybody.
00:41:57.920
Laura Loomer was one of the first people to call out the Women's March and Linda Saar Soar
00:42:02.920
and the fact that she was like, you guys have an anti-Semitism problem.
00:42:12.920
Marjorie Taylor Greene broke the news on Twitter and she was very excited to call it
00:42:35.920
You know, I think this might actually- Who's here?
00:42:41.920
So we've- This is actually- This might be the last segment that we do live for the year.
00:42:52.920
This was the year that got us into the right position for- It's like a chess match, right?
00:42:58.920
So before you make your attack run, you know, you want to get all your positions very carefully-
00:43:08.920
So your pawns, your knight, your bishop, your rookies.
00:43:10.920
Was there a favorite assignment that you had this year?
00:43:14.920
I mean, you've had so many fascinating things that you covered.
00:43:18.920
The whole year, the stories we covered- Favorite.
00:43:34.920
You know, my- All right, you said favorite story.
00:43:44.920
And Brick Suit knows, Brick Suit knows, if I have to say what personally, the story that
00:43:55.920
It's got to be Bootgate Foss, you know what I'm saying?
00:44:04.920
I'm telling you, man, that was- And it wasn't even so much the story itself, it was the way
00:44:13.920
And Tucker talked about them last night, the zero-sum game, and just twisting these guys
00:44:17.920
around and bouncing them up, and it was, you know, it was, it was, it was, uh, personally,
00:44:23.920
I thought that was fun too, and I remember being on Timcast, and we were talking about
00:44:27.920
Bootgate, and we all just started looking for the boots online, and we found them.
00:44:34.920
And they had these massive- and by the way, I hear it on good authority.
00:44:38.920
I have it on good authority that he specifically goes around telling people that these, that
00:44:44.920
I need to wear these boots, because they make me 5'10".
00:44:48.920
It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George would not take off his Timberlands.
00:44:52.920
Right, and then he, and then George, George actually takes the Sharpie to the Timberlands.
00:44:57.920
And, and I think they're at like a wedding in India, right?
00:44:59.920
They're in a wedding in India, and he won't take his Timberlands off.
00:45:04.920
That's a backwards episode, and Kramer's got the lollipop, and it gets bigger, and they
00:45:08.920
ask him, are those Timberlands with Sharpie all over them?
00:45:11.920
And you look at it, no, it was, it was a fun story.
00:45:14.920
Really, the primaries have just been, I tell you the truth, the primaries have been a little
00:45:22.920
You know, I will say one thing that I really thought was interesting is watching the, the
00:45:27.920
sort of transformation, I will say, of Vivek Ramaswamy.
00:45:31.920
And being able to cover that in real time, how he kind of went from like this, this guy
00:45:36.920
who was just sort of, just sort of an anti-woke guy to now being like a full-on based truth-teller,
00:45:47.920
I love breaking stories about the World Economic Forum.
00:45:50.920
What Klaus Schwab is up to going in and just being proven right about so many things when
00:45:58.920
We got Kay Poso here, you know, got to see him.
00:46:01.920
And, you know, we got to take the kids over, we got to take the kids to Europe this year.
00:46:10.920
And really got to, we went to Lourdes in, in France.
00:46:14.920
And for Catholics, you know, the Lourdes is very, very, very important.
00:46:16.920
And it's just been, it's been a year about, but that being said, like 2024 is everything.
00:46:25.920
And I don't know how it'll go, but it may be the final battle for our Republic.
00:46:31.920
It may be the final battle for this stand of freedom, for this brand of populism.
00:46:36.920
And if, if, if populism will succeed, it's going to do so in 2024.
00:46:41.920
And, and I said, I would announce this for people who stuck around.
00:46:45.920
So I might as well that tomorrow on the show, we have a sit down in person full interview.
00:47:04.920
It's in the can, it's in the can for yes, from yesterday.
00:47:07.920
And, uh, look, we get into, we get into it all.
00:47:10.920
And, and Tucker and I have actually, you know, we've been chatting about it for a while.
00:47:19.920
Folks, did you have a good time at America Fest?
00:47:35.920
And can I just say, if we're going to go out on something.
