00:00:21.780 You will not regret it.

00:00:23.400 humanevents.com slash Poso.

00:00:25.060 Totally free.

00:00:25.820 The Poso Daily Brief.

00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:40.340 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:46.940 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.

00:00:49.720 Deliver us from evil.

00:00:51.280 We have become a drug-infested, crime-ridden nation, which is incapable of solving even the smallest, smallest problems.

00:01:00.000 We have to bring in the death penalty if we want to stop the infestation of drugs coming into our country.

00:01:08.340 In a victory for the Biden administration, the Supreme Court ruled that border patrol agents can remove razor wire put in place along a stretch of the southern border in Texas.

00:01:17.320 The Supreme Court's narrowly divided ruling came after an emergency request from the Biden administration

00:01:22.400 that argued the wire was endangering migrants while preventing law enforcement from patrolling the area.

00:01:28.540 To stop the deadly drugs that are poisoning our people, I will deploy U.S. Navy to impose a full fentanyl blockade.

00:01:35.880 A big decision on Monday that could impact the Fulton County election indictment happening miles away in a Cobb County courtroom.

00:01:42.420 The secretive case of special prosecutor Nathan Wade's divorce, secret no more.

00:01:46.560 Donald Trump is not leading the Republican Party and leading the Republican field of candidates because of his youthful vigor.

00:01:53.300 If you pick me, that'll be the end of politics.

00:01:56.320 And you won't have to deal with politics anymore.

00:01:58.600 You'll have a strongman leader and I'll just do what I want.

00:02:01.000 That strongman model is what the Republican base is enthused about.

00:02:06.660 You know, the state was very good to me.

00:02:08.140 This is, by the way, the most exciting of all.

00:02:09.980 I think there's more enthusiasm now than I've ever seen.

00:02:12.100 No one in the country right now cares.

00:02:13.900 In fact, most of the people in the country are going to the Trump rally right now because he's listening to them.

00:02:18.660 No one's asking about this stuff.

00:02:21.000 I'm just frustrated.

00:02:21.880 I hope you understand why I'm getting tired of it.

00:02:23.760 You're doing your jobs, but you're not asking the questions that Americans give a s*** about.

00:02:28.340 I'm going to win by the big margin here.

00:02:30.060 I think we're going to win by big margins, yeah.

00:02:31.940 Instead of voting for Haley, I voted for Donald Trump this morning.

00:02:34.980 You voted for this morning.

00:02:36.100 Why?

00:02:36.940 You have a good day?

00:02:37.500 Um, I think the election, the primary's over.

00:02:40.900 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily here live, Washington, D.C.

00:02:48.960 Today is January 23rd, 2024, Anno Domini.

00:02:53.600 Folks, I understand.

00:02:55.920 We're all upset about the Supreme Court decision that came out last night.

00:03:00.400 I'm outraged about this. 0.90

00:03:02.540 This is disgusting.

00:03:03.560 And in fact, when you look at the ruling, which came in 5-4, it appears that all five of the women on the Supreme Court voted the exact same way.

00:03:15.280 You see, we were wondering, we were wondering so much, how would it go with Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court, on the bench?

00:03:26.940 A lot of people pointed out she's conservative.

00:03:28.780 They said she's a pro-lifer. 0.96

00:03:30.760 That's good enough.

00:03:31.620 Well, it turns out that, you see, and I can say this as a Catholic, we have this sort of strain in Catholics where they're pro-life, okay, so they're conservative on that issue, but they're pretty liberal on just about everything else.

00:03:46.780 It's an issue.

00:03:47.780 We're dealing with it.

00:03:48.960 They're basically social justice warrior Catholics.

00:03:51.820 I'm not saying that she's exactly one of them, but it is certainly a concern.

00:03:56.400 John Zmirek wrote a piece at humanevents.com that everyone can go see raising that exact same question.

00:04:03.660 But here's the point, folks.

00:04:05.560 The lawyers are not going to save you.

00:04:09.420 The law sells.

00:04:10.660 You think that you're going to put your trust in a lawyer?

00:04:12.740 You're going to put your trust in somebody that hides behind pieces of paper, that hides behind words, someone that's going to go and go into court and make their, you know, make their speech, make their hearing.

00:04:26.800 That's the person that you think is going to save the country in any of these instances?

00:04:31.620 No, it's simply not.

00:04:33.020 It's just not, okay?

00:04:34.860 I'm not saying all lawyers are bad.

00:04:37.040 Lawyers are a necessity.

00:04:37.980 I get that.

00:04:38.900 But let me tell you something.

00:04:39.940 This movement and this country will not be saved if we put all our chips in the basket of lawyers and turning to the lawyers for everything.

00:04:49.700 It's not going to work.

00:04:50.780 It never was going to work.

00:04:52.060 And it certainly won't work now.

00:04:54.560 This country was founded through use of arms, by the way.

00:04:58.420 It wasn't founded by lawyers.

00:05:00.940 So what do I mean to say about this?

00:05:02.200 It's simple, folks.

00:05:03.580 And I see a lot of people now taking the black pill.

00:05:06.320 I see a lot of black pillars saying, oh, we'll just, just go to the red states and we can hide in the red states and the blue states will get worse. 0.95

00:05:13.760 And the red states will, you mean like Texas?

00:05:16.260 You mean like Texas?

00:05:17.340 Because Texas is a red state.

00:05:19.860 Republicans control everything in Texas.

00:05:21.860 And yet Texas is still having these issues.

00:05:24.600 And here's the difference.

00:05:25.700 Because the national government will still come for you, regardless of what state you're in.

00:05:30.720 One state governor?

00:05:32.780 Yeah, maybe.

00:05:33.920 Maybe there could be an interesting thing there.

00:05:35.920 But even then, the national government is still going to come.

00:05:40.120 A coalition of state governments.

00:05:41.640 Why not a coalition of them, you say?

00:05:44.120 No.

00:05:45.040 There's another way.

00:05:46.600 And I see a lot of people wanting to turn away from this path because it's hard.

00:05:51.280 Because it's challenging.

00:05:52.680 And it's arduous.

00:05:54.620 That's called Take Over the National Government.

00:05:59.120 Well, I spent the last eight years of my life committed to this project.

00:06:03.680 And I know a lot of people in this audience have as well.

00:06:06.160 And you know what?

00:06:06.840 We are so close.

00:06:08.260 We are so close right now to fully taking over the national government and doing what must be done.

00:06:13.860 And we are not going to let these people get in our way ever again.

00:06:20.000 Stay tuned.

00:06:20.540 We've got a huge show today.

00:06:22.300 Senator Ron Johnson, go join us.

00:06:42.320 And we're putting them out every single day of the week.

00:06:45.160 I grew up in the hood.

00:06:46.320 I rolled with bloods.

00:06:47.940 And them boys had a saying.

00:06:50.100 You can't be listening to all that slappy whack, trim out his outlet, it's a bam ship. 1.00

00:06:54.060 Nippy, bam, bam, like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:06:57.520 All right, Jack Posobiec here, live Human Events Daily.

00:07:02.560 Folks, the world is quickly descending into chaos.

00:07:05.340 The next medical crisis, right around the corner.

00:07:08.100 Whether it's another pandemic or something closer to home, preparedness is no longer an option.

00:07:13.080 It's actually a necessity.

00:07:14.360 And that is where the wellness company comes in.

00:07:17.100 From something innocent and natural like a tick bite to COVID to the next bioweapon manufactured in a lab in some third world country, 1.00

00:07:24.380 the wellness company's medical emergency kit is what you need to be prepared.

00:07:28.260 It contains life-saving medications like ivermectin, emergency antibiotics, a Z-Pak, and so much more,

00:07:34.440 as well as a guidebook to aid in the safe use of these life-saving medications.

00:07:38.720 The wellness company and their doctors, including, listen to this list, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. James Thorpe, Dr. Harvey Reich,

00:07:45.880 Dr. Drew Pinsky, Dr. Robert Seek, and so many more, are medical professionals that you can trust.

00:08:06.560 and their medical emergency kits are the gold standard to keeping you safe.

00:08:10.200 Again, that's twc.health.poso, promo code POSO for 10% off.

00:08:14.560 Check out the site for details. The prescription may be required.

00:08:19.380 All right, let me tell you something, guys. Let me tell you something right now.

00:08:22.440 No blackpilling. You understand that? There will be no blackpilling.

00:08:27.940 I see one of you guys blackpilling. I said, catch one of you guys blackpilling.

00:08:31.240 There's going to be trouble out there. Absolute trouble for you and yours.

00:08:36.240 There's no blackpilling in here. It is not going to happen.

00:08:40.040 By the way, I'm told from the producers, our producer Fahs says,

00:08:45.100 that we might be getting a very special guest soon.

00:08:50.040 Not the senator. Someone that's a surprise guest from New Hampshire might be joining us in a few minutes.

00:08:56.960 I'm going to leave it at that for right now, folks, because I don't like to throw stuff out that isn't confirmed.

00:09:00.640 So we might be getting a special guest. All right. I'm not going to promise you something that I can't deliver.

00:09:05.020 But here's the thing, folks. Here's the thing. I don't want to hear this blackpilling. 1.00

00:09:09.560 I don't want to hear it. The task is arduous. The work is hard.

00:09:16.720 Guess what, boys and girls? That's why it's called work.

00:09:20.700 You don't give up just because you get hit with something.

00:09:24.680 By the way, the Supreme Court decision, you understand this isn't even the final decision on the case, the final ruling.

00:09:30.080 This was involving an emergency injunction that came up during the course of the appeal at the Fifth Circuit.

00:09:37.680 What does this mean?

00:09:38.420 This means that the Fifth Circuit hasn't even finished their ruling on the case.

00:09:45.700 That's still up. That's still up for debate.

00:09:47.920 OK, that's still open.

00:09:49.140 Then after that, if it gets appealed again, depending on how it, you know, on how it shakes out, if it gets appealed again, then there would be a full Supreme Court ruling.

00:10:00.800 OK, so understand the game is never over just because you lose one match.

00:10:06.720 OK, the game is only over when you stop fighting.

00:10:11.640 And around here, we don't stop fighting.

00:10:14.780 We never stop fighting.

00:10:16.380 We're not interested in stopping fighting.

00:10:19.280 Look, people say, why don't you just why don't you just give up and move somewhere?

00:10:23.580 I don't want to move somewhere.

00:10:24.700 I want right now.

00:10:26.020 I want right now and I want to win.

00:10:28.220 And that's why when I see Donald Trump and he's on trial and they pull him into New York and then they pull him down to Georgia and they pull him back to D.C.

00:10:36.980 and he goes to the hearings and then he flies up to New Hampshire.

00:10:41.540 He doesn't quit.

00:10:44.020 He never quits.

00:10:45.300 He never stops.

00:10:46.300 This energy is more than anything that I have ever seen.

00:10:49.500 Ladies and gentlemen, Eric Trump joins us now from New Hampshire with Ben Berkwam.

00:10:54.860 Guys, how's it going there?

00:10:58.220 Amazing.

00:11:00.600 Jack, we're going to have a great night tonight.

00:11:02.040 There's no question about it.

00:11:03.040 So it's it's going well.

00:11:04.340 The energy in the state's pretty awesome.

00:11:05.980 I just went over to a bunch of the polling locations and it's it's fun to see a lot of Trump signs everywhere we drive.

00:11:11.460 I mean, everywhere we drive, there were Trump signs all over the place.

00:11:14.800 Awesome energy.

00:11:15.680 And I think you have a lot of people who want their country back.

00:11:18.320 You have, you know, a lot of people who are upset.

00:11:20.960 I know that Joe Biden is the worst president that we've ever seen and, you know, want to get somebody competent in office and want Donald Trump.

00:11:28.220 Trump back desperately.

00:11:29.640 I mean, desperately is probably an understatement.

00:11:32.040 Yeah.

00:11:32.280 I just came from Londonderry and the crowd over there.

00:11:35.420 I was with President Trump.

00:11:37.240 The crowd was massive.

00:11:38.780 You know, they're all out there.

00:11:39.840 I saw one Nikki Haley sign and I probably saw 300 President Trump signs, hundreds of Trump supporters out there.

00:11:45.180 We've been all over the state.

00:11:46.600 Jack, it's incredible.

00:11:47.680 And what's interesting, Eric, is that, you know, the issues when you talk to people about the issues, I do a lot of border work and everybody up here, you ask them top two issues.

00:11:57.240 It's border and economy and they don't trust Biden on any of it.

00:12:00.520 I mean, they know he's just a traitor to our country. 0.94

00:12:02.740 Well, he is.

00:12:03.420 And listen, border encapsulates so many things, right?

00:12:05.520 It's not just it's not just people coming over.

00:12:07.840 It's people's jobs. 0.56

00:12:08.800 It's it's pay.

00:12:10.040 It's, you know, it's a fentanyl crisis.

00:12:11.820 I lost a good friend's son the other day to the fentanyl crisis.

00:12:14.900 And I mean, it touches everybody.

00:12:16.520 It touches every community.

00:12:17.380 There's no question.

00:12:18.140 But beyond that, you see World War Three effectively breaking out around the world.

00:12:21.300 You see what happened to Russia and Ukraine.

00:12:23.140 You see what happened to Israel. 0.92

00:12:24.340 Now you see what's happening in the Middle East.

00:12:25.800 You know, you're probably going to have something with China.

00:12:28.320 You know, literally the world's becoming unstable under kind of American weakness because you have a weak guy in office.

00:12:34.920 You have a guy who isn't focused on the economy.

00:12:37.340 You have inflation that, you know, for the last four years, three years, has greatly outpaced wage growth.

00:12:43.120 You know, our economy's not doing well.

00:12:45.400 We're losing our manufacturing or, you know, there is that, you know, invasion on the southern border.

00:12:49.480 Over 10 million people have come across the southern border.

00:12:51.980 These are not just people from Central and South America.

00:12:54.680 You're seeing passports and currency and everything else from all over the world right now.

00:12:58.620 These people are, you know, going to bring in real issues.

00:13:01.260 We have no idea who they are, and they're not doing a damn thing about it.

00:13:03.940 In fact, they're cutting razor wires, we speak right now, to allow those people in after this, you know, horrendous Supreme Court ruling. 0.66

00:13:10.960 People are sick and tired of the nonsense.

00:13:12.540 I mean, we don't look strong in the eyes of the world.

00:13:15.100 We've lost all our respect around the world.

00:13:16.800 We're losing the U.S. currency.

00:13:19.500 You know, you have a president who vacations 40 percent of the time.

00:13:22.780 He's more concerned about, you know, six foot five men swimming in, you know, women's sports than he is on our military, on our country, on our borders, on the things that actually matter.

00:13:33.560 And we're losing the American dream in this country.

00:13:35.760 And that's what we as a family are fighting so hard to try and save the American dream.

00:13:39.920 Now, when you guys are going down there, obviously, you're talking to voters.

00:13:44.060 Eric, you've been crisscrossing the state.

00:13:46.260 Your father, of course, speaking at events in between these hearings that they're subjecting him through, like the 12 labors of Hercules.

00:13:54.160 But, you know, when when you're talking to the voters, specifically even today, as people are actually going to the polls for and believe it or not, folks, this is the first primary in the nation because I was a caucus.

00:14:05.540 Just what are you hearing issues wise from the voters?

00:14:08.160 Are they talking border?

00:14:09.140 Are they talking fentanyl economy?

00:14:11.060 What what's the sense?

00:14:14.000 You know, honestly, Jack, the first thing I hear is, you know, Eric, we're really sorry.

00:14:18.260 You know, sorry for what they've done to you.

00:14:19.820 Sorry for what they've done to your family.

00:14:21.560 We see the abuse you take and you guys get absolutely nothing out of this.

00:14:26.120 And, you know, you're just trying to do the right thing.

00:14:27.760 And we're sorry and we love you and we're praying for you and our community is praying for you.

00:14:32.020 So that's normally what I hear first.

00:14:33.420 And, you know, then, you know, pretty universally, people want their their country back and go through the the order of priority.

00:14:40.360 But they want free speech back.

00:14:42.160 All these people have been censored.

00:14:43.300 They've been deplatformed.

00:14:44.660 Their businesses have been gone after.

00:14:47.000 They've been targeted.

00:14:47.880 Right.

00:14:48.080 I mean, they want the First Amendment back.

00:14:49.600 They want freedom of religion back.

00:14:50.980 They want to be able to worship.

00:14:52.120 They want their nuclear family back.

00:14:53.440 They they want upward mobility.

00:14:55.220 They want, you know, they want to be able to live the American dream.

00:14:57.460 They want to be able to go to Disney World with our kids.

00:15:00.100 But you can't because we have a bad economy and, you know, people are getting crammed down.

00:15:04.240 Again, as I said a second ago, you know, inflation is greatly outpacing wage growth.

00:15:07.920 And so people are getting crammed down every single day.

00:15:10.100 You know, go out.

00:15:10.560 Look at the price of milk.

00:15:11.460 Go out and, you know, the eggs are up 70 percent.

00:15:14.280 A two by four costs nine bucks, you know, nine bucks when, you know, under my father was two.

00:15:18.260 You know, go down the list of just items.

00:15:20.660 I mean, people are getting crushed.

00:15:22.300 And then look at gas prices.

00:15:24.100 We should have the lowest gas prices in the world.

00:15:25.560 We've got the most fuel under our feet.

00:15:27.740 And, you know, we're energy independent under my father.

00:15:29.800 And, you know, they reverse that under Biden because he's incompetent.

00:15:32.820 Look at fuel oil, especially when you get to these colder states.

00:15:36.040 Right.

00:15:36.260 I mean, people use fuel oil to heat their homes.

00:15:38.300 And, you know, look how expensive it is versus a couple of years ago.

00:15:41.480 I mean, we're getting killed.

00:15:42.200 And then people are looking at our standing globally and they're petrified.

00:15:47.120 Again, they're seeing wars breaking out.

00:15:48.500 They're seeing our military vessels getting rocket shot at them.

00:15:51.540 Trust me.

00:15:52.180 The one thing I can tell you, Jack, is they weren't shooting missiles at aircraft carriers

00:15:56.440 and in our ships in the Middle East under Donald Trump.

00:15:59.600 He would not have put up with that.

00:16:01.360 You know, Russia would have never happened under him.

00:16:02.660 The Israeli nonsense would have never happened under him. 1.00

00:16:04.660 You know, it's so sad. 0.80

00:16:07.640 It is so sad to see what's happening in Israel.

00:16:09.500 So sad to see what's happening in Ukraine.

00:16:12.560 And certainly our warships should not be having missiles shot at them by, you know, a terrorist group

00:16:19.660 and, you know, unsophisticated terrorist group.

00:16:21.780 They should, you know, this would not have happened under Trump.

00:16:24.800 That much I can tell you.

00:16:26.180 Well, certainly.

00:16:26.820 And it's actually, as you say, it's directly connected because we've because we lost our oil independence,

00:16:33.140 our energy independence now with the United States and Europe predominantly are dependent

00:16:37.700 on the oil that's coming through the Red Sea, which is what the Houthis have been used.

00:16:41.860 And we talk about this all the time on the show.

00:16:43.380 This is why the Houthis are doing that to the Red Sea. 0.99

00:16:46.000 I put on my naval officer hat there and talk about this.

00:16:48.660 But they're they're shutting down the oil supply and they're using very cheap missiles, very cheap drones to be able to do so.

00:16:55.160 It is a it's it's actually a very good strategy from their perspective,

00:16:58.440 because they're able to do this very cheaply and totally bottleneck us because we don't have anyone who's put them.

00:17:05.600 But that's all over the world.

00:17:07.300 Yeah.

00:17:09.340 Let's not forget that's all over the world.

00:17:10.840 I mean, Russia would have never been able to afford, you know, the war that they're fighting right now if we had $30 oil or $40 oil in the US.

00:17:17.260 I mean, you know, the fact that you have $100 plus oil is what affords Russia the ability to, you know, wage a massive war in Ukraine.

00:17:26.860 You know, look at Iran. 0.94

00:17:28.460 I mean, the same thing.

00:17:29.300 I mean, Iran was at its knees when we had $30, $40 oil.

00:17:32.420 They couldn't make any money.

00:17:33.380 And my father had massive sanctions on them.

00:17:34.980 He went around the world saying, listen, anybody buys oil from Iran, you know,

00:17:38.360 you're going to lose the ability to do all business with the United States.

00:17:40.820 Guess what?

00:17:41.480 He had crippled economically.

00:17:43.200 He had crippled Iran. 1.00

00:17:44.680 I mean, all these people.

00:17:45.860 So not only do we pay more here at the pump, every single person,

00:17:48.920 but then we have to send $200 billion over to Ukraine to fight a war that we effectively allowed to happen based on the fact that,

00:17:57.280 you know, the first order Biden had when he got into the Oval Office was, you know, cut off the Keystone Exile pipeline.

00:18:02.320 Let's, you know, put a moratorium on drilling.

00:18:04.820 Let's, you know, wage war on oil and gas.

00:18:06.980 Let's stop exports. 0.95

00:18:08.340 You know, so we pay $200 billion to have the privilege of paying more here at home in every aspect of our life,

00:18:14.920 not to mention the ramp inflation.

00:18:16.620 I mean, what he did with energy is suicide for the United States of America.

00:18:20.720 I mean, it's absolute suicide.

00:18:22.380 And then you add to that, Jack, if I can jump in on that, too.

00:18:24.820 It's what he's done effectively, Joe Biden has done, what the American people,

00:18:28.940 you asked the question, what people want.

00:18:30.700 There are big concerns.

00:18:31.840 It's the border.

00:18:32.520 It's the economy.

00:18:32.920 But really, if you boil it down, and this goes back to Eric and to Don Jr.

00:18:36.820 And to President Trump, from a business mindset, they want certainty.

00:18:40.940 They want certainty in what's coming at them.

00:18:43.540 If they're a business owner, they want certainty in what the pricings are going to be.

00:18:46.780 If they're a mom or a dad, they want certainty in what's going to be taught to their kids at school.

00:18:50.720 If they're in government, if they're in the media, people just want to live a life and have an idea of what's coming at them.

00:18:58.700 Right now, we just have total chaos. 0.99

00:19:00.220 The only certainty we have is what we see around the world is that Joe Biden is going to be a weak, pathetic, non-leader. 0.99

00:19:06.940 And so we're basically giving the globe to him. 0.99

00:19:09.840 You look at what's happening on our southern border.

00:19:11.580 It is certainty of failure for this country.

00:19:14.240 It's national suicide.

00:19:15.360 And every single one of these issues goes back to that.

00:19:18.280 And that's why the voters stand with President Trump.

00:19:20.980 I asked him the question today, though, how do you – the big concern that people have, they keep coming up and saying,

00:19:26.440 how do we prevent 2020 from happening again in 2024?

00:19:29.620 And that's the big concern is making sure they don't steal it again in 2024.

00:19:35.560 Well, and let me ask this as well, though, because this has been one of the refrains that has been going on for a while.

00:19:42.840 And I've seen this on X and going viral and trending, et cetera.

00:19:46.120 Not that I would ever use Twitter myself.

00:19:48.480 I mean, I don't really go on there very much.

00:19:50.920 But, you know, is there a sense that, you know, if you were actually seeking,

00:19:56.300 if you were actually seeking to dismantle the United States and to take us down as a country

00:20:00.200 and reduce the power, reduce the country in the United States,

00:20:04.120 reduce the level of the standard of living of the American people,

00:20:07.500 what would you do differently?

00:20:09.320 Do you actually think that that's what the agenda is here?

00:20:11.860 Nothing. 0.99

00:20:15.100 Well, I mean, either they're the world's dumbest people or they've got alternative motives, 1.00

00:20:20.080 and I think it's probably the latter. 0.99

00:20:21.200 And I hate to say that, right?

00:20:22.200 I mean, I truly, truly hate to say that.

00:20:24.400 But as you said, they're dismantling society.

00:20:26.480 They're dismantling us economically.

00:20:29.500 I mean, we've got more natural gas and oil under our feet than any country in the world,

00:20:33.400 but yet they're, you know, buying lithium batteries from China.

00:20:36.420 I mean, help me explain that one, right?

00:20:38.840 You know, we're literally going, all transportation in this country is literally going to a source

00:20:45.040 that America really has zero production in and giving it to, you know, the largest kind of threat

00:20:51.480 that we have, existential threat to the United States.

00:20:53.540 I mean, how does that make any sense?

00:20:54.740 You know, so you have that.

00:20:56.760 You have the economic aspects, but then you have the home aspect, right?

00:20:59.420 And I think that's maybe bigger than ever.

00:21:02.240 You have literally a war on religion, a war on the flag.

00:21:05.780 You have, you know, groups that want to take, you know, one nation under God out of the Pledge of Allegiance.

00:21:11.100 In God, we trust off of our national currency.

00:21:14.480 You've got, you know, women Olympic soccer teams that are kneeling in front of the national flag, you know, 1.00

00:21:19.280 and, you know, before they play the national anthem.

00:21:22.620 You know, you literally have half of a country that wanted the women's Olympic soccer team to lose

00:21:27.640 because they'd rather have them lose than have the embarrassment of these guys, again, kneeling, you know,

00:21:33.500 as they raise the flag if they got the gold.

00:21:35.340 I mean, think about this.

00:21:38.100 And so it's not just economic.

00:21:40.400 It's not just, you know, it's cultural.

00:21:43.000 It's religious.

00:21:43.840 It's household.

00:21:44.820 It's a nuclear family.

00:21:46.020 It's, you know, fatherless crisis in this country.

00:21:48.960 It's, you know, it's discipline.

00:21:52.380 Look at TikTok over in China.

00:21:54.560 You know, every single, you know, TikTok reel will be, you know,

00:21:56.900 a beautiful girl playing the piano at a very young age and showing some talent.

00:22:01.240 TikTok in America is literally a kid throwing an apple pie in their father's face.

00:22:04.900 You know, they would never allow that overseas,

00:22:06.360 and they want the demise of our society in every single way because it benefits them.

00:22:10.740 Last but not least, look at fentanyl.

00:22:12.340 I mean, fentanyl was being sent into this country by China with one intent, 0.94

00:22:17.140 and that was to maim our youth, maybe the most important aspect of society,

00:22:21.660 you know, the aspect that's supposed to be productive. 0.90

00:22:23.740 And we don't do a damn thing about that, Jack.

00:22:25.880 We don't do anything about it. 0.55

00:22:27.260 And it's killing hundreds of thousands of kids every single year.

00:22:29.680 And aside from the hundreds of thousands of deaths, it's just destroying families.

00:22:33.620 I mean, and that's not just the father.

00:22:35.680 It's the mother.

00:22:36.240 It's the brother.

00:22:36.820 It's the sister.

00:22:37.500 It's the teacher.

00:22:38.240 It's the caregiver.

00:22:39.040 It's the aunt, the uncle, the grandma, the grandfather.

00:22:41.620 It's destroying families.

00:22:43.120 It's destroying communities. 0.80

00:22:43.980 And we don't do a damn thing about it. 0.58

00:22:45.480 And so, yes, I mean, either it's gross negligence and incompetence or worse.

00:22:51.720 But it's truly, truly tragic on every front.

00:22:54.600 And I would absolutely say it.

00:22:55.620 Well, Eric and Ben, I understand that you guys have to run.

00:22:58.800 You guys have a ton of stuff to get to today.

00:23:02.320 A lot of work.

00:23:03.000 Eric Trump, we are going to be watching.

00:23:05.320 We'll be checking in later with Rav and the rest of the team as the results roll in later tonight.

00:23:09.800 Human Events Daily continues after this.

00:23:14.040 You know, they talk about influencers.

00:23:16.440 These are influencers.

00:23:18.320 And they're friends of mine.

00:23:20.700 Jack Resolick.

00:23:22.240 Where's Jack?

00:23:23.140 Jack.

00:23:24.220 He's done a great job.

00:23:25.640 All right, folks.

00:23:29.440 As we know, 2024 could become and really will become one of the most chaotic and stressful years in history.

00:23:37.520 And that's why staying healthy is so important.

00:24:02.740 When your cells are healthy, every aspect of your body will be stronger and work better.

00:24:47.700 All right, folks, so we just had Eric Trump there, New Hampshire.

00:24:52.480 Look, we understand that the polls are over.

00:24:54.340 This isn't a caucus, by the way, like Iowa.

00:24:56.060 I know we've been talking about Iowa and all of this right now.

00:24:59.580 But, you know, where it's a caucus and it starts later and then people move from one

00:25:03.700 caucus to another.

00:25:04.600 This side, no.

00:25:05.900 The New Hampshire primary, this is a regular election.

00:25:08.820 It's a regular primary.

00:25:10.220 This is a situation where polls open in the morning, close in the evening.

00:25:15.540 The election comes in.

00:25:16.680 There'll be some exit polls that come out.

00:25:18.340 Of course, we'll see if those are close.

00:25:20.320 We do know that the Suffolk University poll came out just a little while ago.

00:25:25.680 I'm going to pull it up here this morning so people can see.

00:25:28.200 Suffolk University, this is one.

00:25:29.760 And Richard Barris was here yesterday telling us how important this was.

00:25:32.980 He said, this is the poll that you really want to look at.

00:25:35.380 It'll come out on the eve of the primary itself.

00:25:38.300 Well, it came out last night.

00:25:41.760 In that poll, Trump leads, and this is from the postmillennial.com, Trump leads Haley by

00:25:47.360 22 points in the final Suffolk poll ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

00:25:53.460 Trump at 60%, Haley at 38%.

00:25:57.560 So that said basically that Trump gained three points since the poll was released on Monday.

00:26:04.280 That means that it looks like a lot of that support that would have potentially gone to

00:26:10.060 Governor DeSantis that was happening from Sunday.

00:26:14.160 Then, of course, he dropped out on Sunday.

00:26:16.540 So the Monday poll didn't completely reflect it, caught a lot of it.

00:26:20.160 Now the poll that came out last night is getting the full brunt of it.

00:26:23.820 I'm told now, by the way, that we do have Senator Johnson coming to us live.

00:26:29.340 Senator Johnson, do we have a connection with you?

00:26:31.320 Well, Jack, how are you doing?

00:26:34.440 Welcome to the show, Senator.

00:26:36.500 How are you?

00:26:37.680 I'm doing well.

00:26:38.340 Thanks for having me on.

00:26:40.300 Very excited.

00:26:41.220 Now, we understand that the Democrats are very upset with you because you want to do something

00:26:45.960 that, you know, sometimes people don't like to do anymore in the Senate, and that's called

00:26:50.680 negotiate.

00:26:51.800 It's very interesting.

00:26:52.920 I can't understand why people seem to have forgotten this lost art.

00:26:55.760 Well, they're willing to negotiate, but it has to be behind closed doors and in secret.

00:27:01.200 And what I've certainly been suggesting, you know, particularly on an issue where the vast

00:27:05.040 majority of Americans agree with us that they want a secure border, a sovereign U.S.,

00:27:10.600 why aren't we debating this thing in the open?

00:27:13.480 The reason is neither side, you know, the leadership of neither side trusts the public.

00:27:19.600 They want to do some unholy deal, something that provides Democrats political cover.

00:27:25.820 You know, my concern is it'll be something that actually won't secure the border because

00:27:30.220 our leadership basically didn't even try to negotiate any kind of enforcement mechanism.

00:27:35.840 Like we were suggesting in conference repeatedly, why don't we tie Ukraine funding, make it 0.99

00:27:41.600 contingent on them actually securing the border?

00:27:43.920 You know, set metrics, make them meet thresholds.

00:27:46.400 You know, this is very simple in business.

00:27:48.220 We have performance measurements all the time.

00:27:51.180 You know, targets you have to meet to get certain bonuses.

00:27:54.640 We have to do the same thing with Ukraine.

00:27:56.300 Could have been very reasonable.

00:27:57.400 I had something proposed, but that wasn't even allowed to be discussed is what we were told.

00:28:02.040 And so let's walk through.

00:28:06.520 What was your proposal?

00:28:08.420 What was it that you wanted out?

00:28:09.900 Because we understand, and I had thrown this out earlier, and then the Pentagon's out, Lloyd

00:28:14.360 Austin saying that all Ukraine funding will be ended by March 8th.

00:28:19.240 That's, of course, the current date on the on the current resolution.

00:28:23.180 And so they're really trying to drive this home.

00:28:25.300 Zelensky, of course, was at the World Economic Forum talking about it as well.

00:28:28.800 Walk through your proposal for the audience.

00:28:30.900 Well, first of all, my assumption was there would probably be enough support, particularly

00:28:35.540 with any kind of even minimal border security, for $60 billion in Ukraine funding.

00:28:41.580 OK, kind of accept that reality.

00:28:43.600 I think most Americans are sympathetic with the brave and courageous people of Ukraine,

00:28:48.600 that they think Vladimir Putin's evil, and they'd like to see him certainly not win.

00:28:53.600 So again, I realize there's some support.

00:28:56.880 You know, other places, there's great opposition.

00:28:59.440 So it's a controversial issue.

00:29:00.900 But if it was going to pass, my suggestion was make it contingent on actually securing

00:29:07.120 the border.

00:29:07.840 They wanted $60 billion.

00:29:09.800 Trump took his top level number of migrants crossing per day and reduced that down to pretty

00:29:19.120 much secure border over the course of 12 months.

00:29:21.320 He went from peak to trough in 12 months.

00:29:23.400 So I divvy up $60 billion divided by $5 billion a month and maybe give, you know, $5, $10, $15

00:29:30.520 billion up front, wait three months, but then have rigorous targets that would force the

00:29:35.700 Biden administration to actually secure the border over that 12-month time period.

00:29:39.300 I think the open border pushed by Biden and Democrats is a clear and present danger to America.

00:29:46.360 It should be our top priority.

00:29:49.020 Whether you agree or disagree with funding for Ukraine, if you can use that as leverage to

00:29:53.320 secure the border, that would have been a deal I could have supported.

00:29:56.540 But I'm not seeing a negotiated deal right now that gives me confidence we would actually secure

00:30:02.080 the border.

00:30:02.500 I think it would give Democrats cover, but I'm not so sure it's going to actually secure the border.

00:30:08.700 And so that's basically you're drawing a line in the sand specifically on securing the border

00:30:14.220 and getting those metrics in terms of this.

00:30:18.320 When it comes to the Democrats, have you heard, and we just got a couple of minutes until the break,

00:30:21.860 but are you hearing anything, any traction, or are you getting any reciprocal calls from people

00:30:27.840 saying that they're willing to work on this issue?

00:30:30.480 No, it was taken off the table.

00:30:32.700 You know, sounds like Langford never even asked for it because he was told not to ask for it.

00:30:37.800 Again, this is good information I have on it, but again, it had a great deal of support inside

00:30:42.760 the Republican conference, and it just made all the sense in the world.

00:30:45.680 You want Ukraine funding?

00:30:46.980 Fine.

00:30:47.420 We want a secure border.

00:30:48.560 You say you want one.

00:30:49.520 I don't believe you.

00:30:50.420 I mean, let's face it, that's a big problem for James Langford, who, by the way,

00:30:54.560 very knowledgeable, probably the right guy to negotiate this.

00:30:57.440 He gets along well with Democrats.

00:30:58.980 Our problem is Mitch McConnell is the puppet master here pulling the strings,

00:31:02.480 and he's the one that's saying, well, we don't want to tie Ukraine.

00:31:05.620 I have a lot to ask, Senator.

00:31:08.500 We're coming to a quick break.

00:31:09.700 Stay tuned, everybody.

00:31:13.140 And Jack, where is Jack?

00:31:16.120 Where is Jack?

00:31:18.440 Where is he?

00:31:19.260 Jack, I want to see you.

00:31:23.400 Great job, Jack.

00:31:24.780 Thank you.

00:31:25.520 What a job you do.

00:31:26.980 You know, we have an incredible thing.

00:31:28.360 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the

00:31:32.840 guys who should be getting Pulisic.

00:31:34.140 All right, Jack, so we're back live.

00:31:38.020 Don't want to waste any time, folks.

00:31:39.620 We promised you more with Senator Johnson, who's giving us these exclusive details on

00:31:44.960 the negotiations.

00:31:45.760 Senator Johnson, when you left us, you said that Langford, who's taken the position of

00:31:51.260 really kind of being the point man on these negotiations, you said that he didn't even

00:31:55.340 put this border deal on the table.

00:31:58.120 And your assessment was that's because he was on orders from Mitch McConnell?

00:32:03.800 That's basically understanding of it, that we never even asked for making Ukraine funding

00:32:14.640 contingent on actually meeting border security.

00:32:17.980 Now, they're talking about other types of metrics, other kind of forcing mechanisms.

00:32:21.480 But again, none of us have seen a worded text.

00:32:24.980 What I have seen, I can poke holes in from a standpoint, well, this is a way the Democrats

00:32:30.960 will weasel out of this agreement.

00:32:32.820 This is the Mack truck they'll drive through this hole.

00:32:35.820 So again, I'm asking legitimate questions.

00:32:37.880 How do you actually close the border?

00:32:40.340 You know, before you hit the close the border stage, how do you process four or 5,000 people

00:32:46.080 a day?

00:32:46.700 Right now, they're saying they can process 500.

00:32:48.660 So what happens to the rest of them?

00:32:49.940 How's that different from current catch and release?

00:32:53.100 Why wouldn't that continue the flow?

00:32:55.000 And oh, by the way, the border is 100% secure on the Mexican side of the border.

00:33:00.120 The cartels have more than capable of metering the flow to stay under whatever threshold might

00:33:08.780 trigger more onerous border security measures.

00:33:11.580 So again, you have to understand and recognize the reality of the situation.

00:33:15.540 And with this administration, a lawless administration, a president that ignores Supreme Court rules,

00:33:21.360 that is not faithfully executing the law, you need some kind of forcing mechanism to actually

00:33:26.760 get him to abide by whatever agreement you cut with him.

00:33:29.700 You know, that's interesting, by the way, you just mentioned the Supreme Court decision.

00:33:35.760 Obviously, we were talking about that earlier in the show as well, completely against it.

00:33:39.700 Now, do you think, by the way, though, and this is something that could be brought up as well in these

00:33:43.960 negotiations, obviously, isn't that also something that could be used in these negotiations?

00:33:48.980 I would think so.

00:33:50.940 Again, there's the irony.

00:33:51.940 I was talking about the eviction moratorium and student loans.

00:33:55.260 You just ignored both of those.

00:33:56.580 Yes, that's right.

00:33:57.360 You've got the Biden administration supposedly doing a deal because they want to secure the border.

00:34:01.940 And they're fighting, you know, Governor Abbott down in Texas tooth and nail.

00:34:06.560 And they're bringing things before the court to make sure that, you know, CBP can dismantle

00:34:11.720 what fencing that Texas installed to try and protect its citizens.

00:34:16.700 So again, this is beyond absurd.

00:34:18.540 Again, I think James is doing as good a job as James can do, you know, having to listen

00:34:25.380 to Mitch McConnell is basically telling him what he can and can't ask for.

00:34:29.280 But the fact of the matter is, his biggest problem is he's dealing with people who want

00:34:33.960 an open border that caused the problem.

00:34:36.920 Again, they really don't want to secure the border.

00:34:38.920 Their base wants a borderless society.

00:34:41.700 They want political cover.

00:34:43.080 So again, this is it's it's I don't see how you negotiate a good deal with people that

00:34:50.080 are acting in such bad faith.

00:34:51.600 Well, this this idea, again, that they want the borderless society, that they want us to

00:34:59.180 be completely exposed to whatever is coming across, not not enough to mention just the

00:35:05.000 sheer numbers that you've spoken about just here under President Trump in his previous

00:35:11.420 administration.

00:35:11.940 We actually experienced a net decrease in the overall foreign born population, I think

00:35:16.920 for the first time since 1965, since the since LBJ's bill was passed.

00:35:22.320 This is something where I know, of course, COVID played a role in that as well, but it was

00:35:25.500 already trending down.

00:35:26.780 But if you look at that same graph ever since Biden comes in, it explodes.

00:35:30.620 The numbers just completely explode across our border.

00:35:34.760 And I'm sorry, but Senator, for the life of me, I can't understand how and I agree with

00:35:38.960 you that I can't understand how this could possibly be happening if it wasn't by design.

00:35:44.280 It is by design.

00:35:45.740 They want this again.

00:35:46.940 Trump went from peak to trough in 12 months.

00:35:49.380 He pretty well hit the low point in April of 2020.

00:35:53.140 And that was only one month with the title 42.

00:35:56.940 So he pretty well secured the border.

00:35:58.240 Now, he took it from about 1,200 a day down to 570 a day with title 42.

00:36:02.500 But then Democrat presidential candidates were talking about how they were going to end

00:36:05.700 deportation, offer free health care.

00:36:08.320 And so then you see the number of single adults start rising until Biden was inaugurated.

00:36:13.180 And then the border exploded because Biden dismantled all the successful programs that

00:36:18.360 worked under Trump.

00:36:19.460 You know, we'd pretty well stop the flow of unaccompanied children, family units, which 1.00

00:36:22.640 means we stop the flow of the sex trafficking.

00:36:24.700 There are a lot of good things about what President Trump did.

00:36:28.920 But President Biden thought that was so, so humane.

00:36:31.920 So now his open border policy is facilitating the multi-billion dollar business model. 0.89

00:36:37.360 Some of the most evil people on the planet, human, sex, drug traffickers.

00:36:41.740 Look at all the overdoses.

00:36:42.780 There's nothing humane about the Democrat and President Biden's open border policy.

00:36:46.740 In fact, Senator, I actually saw a stat just last night.

00:36:51.900 I haven't even posted this on X, but, you know, I'll mention it here that I've now seen

00:36:57.360 that overdose deaths in America, just in terms of population, have now overtaken the place

00:37:05.340 where Russia was after the fall of the Soviet Union.

00:37:08.040 And everybody knows that deaths related to vodka and alcoholism just absolutely skyrocketed

00:37:14.900 in Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union.

00:37:16.740 We're talking the 1990s sky frame.

00:37:18.920 So during the Yeltsin years, those those alcohol related deaths, we've now overtaken them.

00:37:25.180 We've now overtaken.

00:37:26.820 They were about like twenty nine, twenty nine point five.

00:37:29.260 We're now in the 30s in terms of that, in terms of population, in terms of our rate because

00:37:33.780 of overdoses.

00:37:34.580 And for some reason, this administration just isn't even interested in actually talking

00:37:38.500 about it as a policy.

00:37:39.700 The media treats it as if it's some kind of almost like a natural disaster that's just

00:37:44.000 sort of happening and it's tragic, but there's nothing we can do about it.

00:37:47.260 I disagree with that fundamentally.

00:37:48.620 It's it's an agenda.

00:37:49.900 And these are obviously policy decisions that could be changed with the stroke of a pen.

00:37:54.600 Well, it's a strategy by China.

00:37:56.300 They're the ones that provide the precursor chemicals they used to ship and directly in the 0.96

00:37:59.700 U.S.

00:38:00.700 We actually frustrated those efforts.

00:38:02.920 This was a couple of pieces of legislation that just changed it.

00:38:06.760 You know, the setting of the ship, the precursor chemicals now to Mexico and using our porous,

00:38:11.500 our wide open border to funnel them into the U.S. and poison American cities. 0.90

00:38:15.080 So this is a Chinese strategy.

00:38:18.700 And again, we're facilitating that.

00:38:21.140 Probably one of the reasons the Biden administration doesn't want to talk about it, because President

00:38:24.520 Biden is so horribly compromised because of hunters and Biden Inc.'s connections to

00:38:30.620 the Communist Party of China.

00:38:34.400 Well, then, of course, we had we had.

00:38:36.720 But but but but, Senator, hold on now.

00:38:38.480 We had 51 intel agents come out and tell us that that was all Russian disinformation.

00:38:44.320 So, I mean, it all the hallmarks of that, isn't it?

00:38:46.540 We should trust those same intel agencies, shouldn't we?

00:38:48.800 Well, that's another part of the scandal.

00:38:51.980 So as scandalous and as concerning as the Biden Inc.

00:38:55.560 corruption is that the fact that we have corruption within federal law enforcement, our

00:38:59.220 intelligence services, and then, of course, the corruption, the mainstream media that has

00:39:02.320 bought all this stuff hook, line and sinker or knowingly pushed false narratives like their

00:39:07.960 Trump Russian collusion false narrative and put America through political turmoil that hasn't

00:39:14.120 ended to this day.

00:39:14.940 I mean, this is still the same the same actors, partisan actors in federal agencies.

00:39:20.880 Now, you know, we are overcharging Trump, these political prosecutions and the mainstream

00:39:25.280 media cheerleading of that kind of abuse to our democracy.

00:39:30.380 Well, that's precisely right.

00:39:31.880 And so when when I look at these situations and by the way, I say this as a former Navy intelligence

00:39:37.020 officer myself, you know, I remember going in there and saying, hey, aren't we going to do

00:39:40.880 something about the Chinese Communist Party?

00:39:42.460 Aren't we going to do something about the penetration of our national security, the defense of Taiwan, 1.00

00:39:47.180 these these various things?

00:39:48.620 Are we going to do something about defending our nation?

00:39:50.640 And you find that the actors in there are much more interested in political positions

00:39:54.380 and parroting whatever the talking points that come out of Washington, D.C.

00:39:58.160 are.

00:39:58.760 And that even when we would have intelligence that came out of the field, the closer it got

00:40:04.420 to D.C., it just seemed like the more politicized and stovepipe that it got.

00:40:09.100 Yeah, I mean, the root cause of all this problem of all these problems is we have a massive federal

00:40:15.280 government.

00:40:15.660 It's completely out of control.

00:40:17.320 You know, Eisenhower, if you haven't watched his his farewell address, he not only warned

00:40:21.280 us about the military industrial complex, but he warned us about a scientific technological

00:40:25.500 elite being driven by public funding of science and research.

00:40:30.400 So it was corrupted that we saw that a big time during COVID, how we've corrupted our federal

00:40:35.340 health agencies.

00:40:36.500 He warned us about plundering and mortgaging our kids future.

00:40:38.660 And then he also warned his fourth warning was about not letting global society fall into

00:40:43.040 a a profound state of dreadful fear and hate.

00:40:50.480 And that's, of course, what the left is pushing.

00:40:52.980 They push fear of climate change.

00:40:54.760 They push fear of pandemics.

00:40:57.240 They seek to divide us to push hate.

00:41:00.180 That's how they gain control.

00:41:03.040 Well, precisely, Senator, because they get us to hate each other.

00:41:07.260 They get us to and more importantly, they get us to question one another and question our

00:41:11.640 motives and suspect one another rather than actually working against these actors.

00:41:16.340 We've got another block with you.

00:41:17.480 Quick break here, Senator Johnson, definitely one of the fieriest and truth filled interviews

00:41:24.180 that we've had here on the program in a long time.

00:41:27.220 Stay in tune.

00:41:27.740 Human Events Daily continues.

00:41:31.700 Hours.

00:41:32.500 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:41:36.400 All right, Jack Posobiec back here.

00:41:38.320 Fiery interview with Senator Ron Johnson, full of truth, ladies and gentlemen, speaking of

00:41:43.500 an area where it's very hard for the United States citizenry, at least, to get much truth.

00:41:49.760 And that's the the situation in Ukraine.

00:41:52.660 Of course, media has been denied a lot of access to this.

00:41:56.820 The United States government has not been very forthwith about where all that money exactly

00:42:01.900 is going.

00:42:02.700 And yet we're told now the AP has got this huge article up that Lloyd Austin is in his

00:42:07.480 in his home bedroom on this.

00:42:10.860 I guess I would hope certainly a secured VTC conference call with the coalition of the

00:42:16.860 willing saying we don't have any money to support you past March 8th.

00:42:21.160 So you're going to have to pull together because the United States Congress has not signed a deal

00:42:26.680 with us.

00:42:28.300 Senator Johnson, walk us through this, what you've called for in terms of a special conference

00:42:33.760 on Ukraine and tell us what information have you received as a senator who's being asked to

00:42:39.680 obviously vote on all of these aid packages as to where exactly this money is going.

00:42:44.940 So, first of all, let's say the Biden administration, you can't trust a word they say.

00:42:49.760 They've done nothing to earn the trust of the American public.

00:42:54.200 You know, the president lies repeatedly at what Defense Secretary Austin did from his

00:42:58.500 recent hospitalization.

00:42:59.980 So you just can't trust these people.

00:43:01.740 But that being said, one of the reasons I called this conference meeting for tomorrow

00:43:05.720 is in the Republican conference in the Senate, we've talked about Ukraine one time.

00:43:11.180 It was 45 minutes.

00:43:12.620 We had one senator stand up in support.

00:43:15.020 One senator stood up in opposition.

00:43:18.000 The rest of us were told to keep our comments to 60 seconds.

00:43:21.340 Now, this isn't the greatest delivered body on earth, right?

00:43:23.680 You know, an important and complex issue, and we gave it short shrift.

00:43:27.620 So I thought if we're going to be voting on a supplemental, we ought to talk about this.

00:43:32.160 I bring a slightly different perspective.

00:43:34.760 I was the only member of Congress that attended Zelensky's inauguration.

00:43:38.960 Met with him then.

00:43:40.080 Went back two or three months later.

00:43:42.540 I was chairman of the European Subcommittee at that point in time.

00:43:44.820 Went back with Chris Murphy, and we met again with him among many issues.

00:43:50.020 I think he was dead serious about trying to defeat corruption.

00:43:53.480 But he was a political neophyte.

00:43:54.940 The long knives were out.

00:43:55.840 But one point he made to me, to us, was that he wanted to do a peace deal with Putin.

00:44:01.560 Now, this is when Russia had already completely annexed Crimea.

00:44:05.680 They were in total control of eastern Ukraine.

00:44:08.420 Zelensky knew it wouldn't be politically popular, but he also knew he couldn't displace Russia, 0.96

00:44:13.800 a superpower with nuclear weapons.

00:44:15.800 And so he wanted to do a peace agreement with them.

00:44:18.520 Fast forward, now we're in this bloody stalemate.

00:44:22.740 The reality is Putin will not lose this war.

00:44:26.920 Losing is existential to Putin.

00:44:29.460 Putin has nuclear weapons.

00:44:30.800 If he doesn't use them, he'll certainly threaten to use them.

00:44:33.380 Ukraine can't do the things like lob missiles into Moscow to turn the hearts and minds of Russians

00:44:38.880 against the war.

00:44:39.720 So you have to recognize the only way the bloodshed ends is in a negotiated settlement.

00:44:44.380 Now, I'm not going to like it.

00:44:46.680 Americans aren't going to like the kind of settlement you have to do with the evil war criminal Putin.

00:44:52.520 But that's the fact of the matter.

00:44:53.720 And every day that this war goes on, more Ukrainians die, more Russian conscripts die.

00:44:59.020 I take no joy in that.

00:45:00.220 These people are pulled out of their villages and sent to the front lines as cannon fodder,

00:45:05.120 and more of Ukraine gets destroyed.

00:45:06.680 So anything the U.S. ought to do, or everything we do, ought to be focused around how do you convince

00:45:14.580 Vladimir Putin, sit down, sit down with Zelensky, end this bloody stalemate, do it sooner rather than

00:45:21.780 later.

00:45:22.520 And I think that's certainly part of the discussion.

00:45:25.520 If the administration is asking for another $60 billion, not having accounted for this first

00:45:29.580 $100 billion, when you've got Zelensky aides telling reporters, turn off your recorder,

00:45:34.880 and then they say privately, they're stealing like there's no tomorrow, there are a lot of

00:45:38.920 questions that ought to be asked.

00:45:40.880 Nobody's answering questions, and we don't even have much of an opportunity to ask them.

00:45:45.160 You mentioned having those communications with Zelensky at the time and his administration.

00:45:53.340 When you mentioned about him wanting a peace deal with Russia, was that before the war started

00:45:57.460 or even after?

00:45:58.300 Because I know we've received reports of that, you know, in like May of 2022 or March of 2022.

00:46:05.000 No, this was shortly after he was inaugurated.

00:46:07.200 It might have been the day of his inauguration or when I went back to with Chris Murphy,

00:46:10.840 might have mentioned both times.

00:46:12.300 But again, I was thoroughly convinced he wanted to do, he was rational enough to realize he's

00:46:17.680 not going to displace Russia, better do a peace deal with Russia and get it over with so he could 0.84

00:46:22.720 try and spend his effort to defeat corruption in Ukraine and build a more prosperous nation

00:46:28.780 for his people.

00:46:29.860 That's what his focus was when I met him after he just got elected.

00:46:34.240 Well, that's right.

00:46:35.200 And actually, I remember covering the fact that he campaigned on that very same promise.

00:46:40.180 This was one of the reasons that he won.

00:46:42.740 So I think it's like something like 70 percent of the vote back in 2019 when he was elected,

00:46:47.320 because at the time and this was it was those three provinces and including Crimea at the

00:46:52.500 time that he wanted the peace in.

00:46:54.560 And, you know, simply obviously history took a slightly different route.

00:47:00.080 Of course, he was tied into the first impeachment of Trump over the phone call.

00:47:04.340 And it all comes down to this question, again, of the aid and where the aid is going.

00:47:09.480 And this is something even when I visited myself in the summer of 2022, we weren't in Lviv or

00:47:16.600 Lviv, however, you know, depending on which politically correct side you want to take on

00:47:20.220 that pronunciation that we were started.

00:47:24.360 I had a guy within a couple hours to start to tell me how I could buy AR-15s because the AR-15s were

00:47:30.600 coming in and he had had done a deal, had gone wrong, but he needed some money.

00:47:34.640 So he's asking me if I wanted to buy the AR-15s.

00:47:37.240 I'm like, I don't think a U.S. citizen should be coming to a war zone to buy AR-15s.

00:47:42.040 But if I can do it that quickly, imagine what the people on the ground who might be bad actors

00:47:47.260 or criminal organizations otherwise are doing.

00:47:50.140 Senator, we've got about a minute and a half left.

00:47:51.980 Where can people go for more information to follow you?

00:47:55.520 And what should people be thinking about as we go forward with this budget negotiation?

00:48:00.940 Well, let me just go to our Senate website.

00:48:03.520 You can find that on the Internet.

00:48:05.480 I don't have it memorized in my head.

00:48:07.440 But listen, we need to focus on the big things.

00:48:10.040 Understanding that probably the greatest threat to our nation right now is the division that

00:48:14.040 is being pushed by the Democrats, by the left.

00:48:17.440 Identity politics, critical race theory, you know, the whole transgender issue that just 0.93

00:48:21.680 sprang out of nowhere.

00:48:22.720 Again, this is all meant to divide us and weaken America.

00:48:26.320 If you were asked to develop a strategy to destroy this country, you couldn't come up

00:48:29.960 with a better game plan than what has been initiated by Biden and the radical leftists

00:48:34.960 in his administration.

00:48:35.680 The open borders, the 40-year high inflation, war on fossil fuels, the weakness internationally

00:48:40.960 that's set the world in flames.

00:48:42.720 So focus on the big issues and then understand that we are plundering and mortgaging our children's

00:48:47.700 future and support those elected officials that are willing to say, no, we can't do this

00:48:52.120 anymore.

00:48:54.080 All right, Senator Ron Johnson from the great state of Wisconsin.

00:48:58.580 The best cheese curds, by the way, on the face of the planet.

00:49:02.800 I can't wait for the convention later this summer.

00:49:05.320 I am going to be engorging myself.

00:49:07.760 Senator, God bless.

00:49:08.980 You got to get them fresh before they're refrigerated.

00:49:10.760 But you're right, every day, absolutely fresh Mars cheese castle.

00:49:14.820 I know my curds Mars cheese castle.

00:49:16.780 That's where I'm going, folks.

00:49:17.960 Thanks for being here.

00:49:19.020 Come on later tonight.

00:49:20.480 We'll see you in the live chat for the New Hampshire election stream.

00:49:24.880 We'll see you there, folks.

00:49:26.240 God bless to rumble to X to everyone in the live chats.

00:49:29.080 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission.

00:49:31.080 So let us see you.
