00:00:57.220 package to fund the federal government.

00:00:59.060 To my House and Senate Republican colleagues, it's time to put your money where your mouth is.

00:01:03.900 You can't claim to be a pro-life champion and then fund abortion, abortion travel.

00:01:09.060 You can't rail against President Biden's intentional illegal invasion and then fund the policies

00:01:14.620 that are causing the chaos without assuming the same responsibility.

00:01:19.000 This morning, tensions escalating on the Texas border.

00:01:22.160 Dramatic new video shows a struggle between Border Patrol and migrants in El Paso.

00:01:27.420 The migrants were eventually stopped by a steel fence, where border agents in Texas DPS

00:01:32.800 contained the situation and processed the 400 to 600 migrants.

00:01:37.480 Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel this morning, just hours before the

00:01:42.260 U.N. is set to vote on a U.S. proposal for an immediate and sustained ceasefire.

00:01:47.520 The U.S. has vetoed similar resolutions in the past.

00:01:51.800 Jackson County officials are now announcing a third adult and a third juvenile have been

00:01:55.680 charged in the mass shooting.

00:02:12.080 With former President Trump's bond payment deadline looming, New York Attorney General

00:02:16.060 Letitia James is laying the groundwork to seize some of his assets, Trump's golf course 0.94

00:02:20.540 and his estate in Westchester County, should the former president fail to post his $464 million

00:02:26.240 bond by Monday.

00:02:27.560 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Event.

00:02:57.540 Human Event's Daily live from Washington, D.C.

00:02:59.900 Today is March 22nd, 2024, Anno Domini.

00:03:05.260 Folks, that clip that we just showed you was incredible.

00:03:09.900 This is the first time in my life, and I've been talking about this for years now, that

00:03:17.080 the Chinese Communist Party's Chinese Cultural Revolution was actually depicted in a Hollywood

00:03:25.580 film.

00:03:26.200 Now, this is a sci-fi movie that's coming out on Netflix or is short to be released.

00:03:33.520 It's based on The Three-Body Problem, which was written about 15 years ago.

00:03:38.460 Super popular book in the sci-fi circles, won the Hugo Award.

00:03:43.000 But it opens with the main character's father being killed, beaten to death,

00:03:48.420 at a struggle session of the Chinese Communist Party, of the Cultural Revolution.

00:03:53.840 There you see the red guard.

00:03:55.360 You see the little red book, Mao's little red book.

00:03:58.240 You see the dunce cap, which is placed around his head.

00:04:01.060 And then around his neck, it describes him as an enemy of the movement, an enemy, you know,

00:04:07.260 basically a counter-revolutionary.

00:04:08.920 It's kind of an easy way to describe it in Chinese.

00:04:12.180 So that's his crime.

00:04:13.260 He's a counter-revolutionary, basically calling him a right-wing extremist for being normal.

00:04:19.200 And then his name is under that.

00:04:22.880 And so his daughter, who is watching, then gets sentenced to prison.

00:04:25.980 And she later becomes the protagonist of the book and goes on to become this engineer.

00:04:30.700 But it's really incredible.

00:04:32.880 Guys, can we actually play that as a saw?

00:04:34.700 Can we play that again?

00:04:35.760 Because that was just, I've never seen it before.

00:04:37.920 And it's so important that everyone needs to see what happens when the unhumans take power. 1.00

00:04:43.820 And it's so important.

00:05:13.820 He was their teacher.

00:05:28.800 That's what he's saying to them.

00:05:29.960 He's saying, I was your teacher.

00:05:31.700 You were my students.

00:05:33.160 And now this is how you treat me.

00:05:35.500 And what they're responding,

00:05:37.400 is that they are saying

00:05:40.880 the revolution is without sin.

00:05:45.300 The revolution is blemishless.

00:05:48.060 The revolution is perfect.

00:05:51.280 And they're just saying it over and over

00:05:54.760 as they beat the man to death in front of his own family.

00:05:59.660 The unhumans are coming. 1.00

00:06:02.560 And guess what, folks?

00:06:03.360 These revolutions are still taking place today,

00:06:06.960 but on a micro level every single day all around us.

00:06:11.700 Warfare has changed.

00:06:12.640 Hasn't gone away.

00:06:13.540 We'll be right back.

00:06:13.980 Ladies and gentlemen,

00:06:18.200 one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events

00:06:21.540 and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.

00:06:35.700 Up in the hood, I rolled with bloods.

00:06:38.200 And them boys had a saying.

00:06:40.420 You can't be listening to all that slappy whack,

00:06:42.760 trim out his alitzabam ship, nippy bam bam, 0.98

00:06:45.800 like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:06:50.060 All right, Jack Posobiec back live, Human Events Daily.

00:06:52.460 Folks, the world is in flames.

00:06:54.160 And Bidenomics is a complete and total disaster.

00:06:57.300 But it can't and will not ruin my day.

00:06:59.480 Do you know why?

00:07:00.680 It's because I start my day with a hot America First cup of blackout coffee.

00:07:20.540 It powers the show.

00:07:21.340 It'll power you too, power your business.

00:07:23.180 And this is so important that we need to support businesses

00:07:27.020 like Blackout Coffee that love and support America.

00:07:30.220 They are family owned.

00:07:48.160 We've got Kenny Cody on here today from humanevents.com.

00:07:52.160 He is a columnist there, a great columnist.

00:07:54.380 President Trump shares his stuff out constantly.

00:07:56.520 I even shared out the last time he was on the show.

00:08:00.020 So, Kenny, congratulations on that, by the way,

00:08:03.020 and all your recent success.

00:08:04.600 Let's talk about what's going on with President Trump right now

00:08:07.220 because there's a flurry of news.

00:08:08.600 A lot of people aren't talking about it.

00:08:10.620 CNN has him up in, I think, every single battleground state.

00:08:14.960 And even the CNN poll, they've got him at sort of neck and neck

00:08:18.720 with Biden in Pennsylvania was the only state that I saw

00:08:21.480 that they were tight with.

00:08:22.400 And at the same time, the government of the state of New York

00:08:27.100 is now going after his very golf courses.

00:08:30.940 Kenny, what's going on here?

00:08:32.980 Because I remember everyone in the primary telling me

00:08:35.620 that when the government started coming for Trump,

00:08:38.520 that that would make people support Trump less.

00:08:41.640 Yes, that's the opposite of what's going on.

00:08:44.240 Well, it's had the opposite effect the entire time.

00:08:46.580 I mean, when you look at the polling,

00:08:47.940 you look at how people would vote if he was convicted,

00:08:50.300 all that kind of stuff, independent voters,

00:08:52.740 people see through the federal government's

00:08:54.620 and the state government's weaponization of their power

00:08:56.800 to go after a presidential candidate.

00:08:58.860 I think that now we're seeing them go after his actual assets.

00:09:02.880 They're going after his golf courses.

00:09:04.340 They're going after his actual wealth.

00:09:06.280 You're seeing a rebuke.

00:09:08.260 You're seeing voters and pundits, conservatives, politicians,

00:09:12.620 whatever, address that this is a biased pursuit.

00:09:15.680 And it's the only way that they can affect Donald Trump

00:09:18.200 when you look at how he's leading in swing states,

00:09:20.560 Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan,

00:09:22.100 the only way that they can try to hurt him

00:09:24.360 is to hurt his fundraising

00:09:25.380 and to hurt him the amount of monetary value

00:09:27.740 that his campaign can have.

00:09:29.600 And when you're looking at how he's doing in polling,

00:09:32.600 I mean, Biden has more money to spend.

00:09:35.020 He has more corporate donations.

00:09:36.540 He has more backers.

00:09:38.060 And just like he did in 2020,

00:09:40.800 and how Hillary Clinton had more funding

00:09:42.960 than Donald Trump did in 2016,

00:09:44.240 it didn't really matter.

00:09:44.920 But this grassroots movement and these people that support him

00:09:48.240 who are everyday Americans are not blinded

00:09:51.820 by the federal government, state government's weaponization

00:09:54.420 of their power against Donald Trump.

00:09:55.980 It's the only way they can go after him.

00:09:57.700 They have to try to go after his assets,

00:10:00.840 try to go after his golf courses, his properties,

00:10:03.200 and try to bankrupt him

00:10:04.540 because it's the only way now they see the polling

00:10:06.500 that they can see him losing.

00:10:08.320 And I still don't think,

00:10:09.660 even with them trying to take money away from President Trump,

00:10:12.740 that he has a chance against losing against Joe Biden.

00:10:14.540 Now, we can't get complacent,

00:10:16.120 but they see the path forward.

00:10:17.920 They see that he is the likely next president

00:10:19.780 of the United States,

00:10:20.600 and they are throwing out all last-ditch efforts

00:10:22.680 to go after this man by going after his own properties

00:10:25.460 and his own assets.

00:10:27.980 So I think that if we are able to coalesce,

00:10:30.820 if we're able to unite,

00:10:32.080 I think that anybody can see this,

00:10:33.820 but we have to look through the voters

00:10:35.060 to try to donate, to try to fundraise,

00:10:38.080 and to try to get a grassroots move going

00:10:39.980 because the legal procedures

00:10:41.440 are going to try to minimize Trump's fundraising

00:10:44.740 and minimize his monetary value.

00:10:47.860 And so that being the case,

00:10:51.480 do you think then that this type of activity

00:10:55.860 by the government,

00:10:56.900 this in case the government of the state of New York,

00:10:59.240 to seize his golf course,

00:11:02.760 the memes, by the way,

00:11:03.600 yesterday were going wild on this,

00:11:05.040 people saying they're going to name it

00:11:06.040 the George Floyd Memorial Golf Course.

00:11:08.800 I saw some people saying,

00:11:09.740 Producer Fahs was saying that,

00:11:11.560 you know, they're going to be putting up

00:11:12.820 migrant tent cities on there for the illegals.

00:11:17.180 There's something so visual

00:11:18.900 about the seizing of physical property

00:11:22.220 as opposed to, you know,

00:11:23.980 as opposed to like freezing,

00:11:25.240 you know, freezing bank records

00:11:27.180 or bank accounts or something like that,

00:11:29.040 that I really feel like

00:11:30.840 this is going to have a backlash.

00:11:32.460 Do you agree?

00:11:33.980 Yeah, I think so.

00:11:34.760 I mean, you're seeing these people

00:11:36.860 who address that,

00:11:38.560 okay, you know,

00:11:39.460 Trump is getting after,

00:11:41.980 he's going,

00:11:42.360 the people are going after him,

00:11:43.740 celebrities, the mainstream media.

00:11:45.880 But when you're getting

00:11:46.620 the judiciary courts involved,

00:11:48.060 when you're getting a state government

00:11:49.500 employee involved,

00:11:50.460 when you're getting the state departments,

00:11:52.140 the state governments,

00:11:53.260 the state judiciary going after him,

00:11:56.120 you're seeing an obvious bias

00:11:58.020 and they're only hurting themselves.

00:11:59.660 And I love that part about it, Jack,

00:12:01.180 is that we are getting through

00:12:02.560 to everyday people

00:12:03.760 that this is a biased movement,

00:12:05.460 that this is political weaponization.

00:12:07.380 This is nothing but

00:12:08.400 the last ditch effort

00:12:09.760 to prevent Donald Trump

00:12:10.920 from being the next president.

00:12:12.300 And we have to be unabashed

00:12:13.360 in calling that out.

00:12:14.340 We can't just stand by

00:12:15.380 and say he's going to get by with it.

00:12:17.360 You know,

00:12:17.580 he's going to raise money.

00:12:18.740 He has nothing to worry about.

00:12:20.340 He has, you know,

00:12:21.380 billions of dollars,

00:12:22.340 millions of dollars.

00:12:23.200 It's nothing to him.

00:12:24.100 We can't get complacent.

00:12:25.500 We have to make sure

00:12:26.460 that this is in the spotlight.

00:12:27.740 We have to ensure

00:12:28.760 that the everyday American knows

00:12:30.700 that this man

00:12:31.480 has gone through more

00:12:32.760 than any presidential candidate

00:12:34.600 in American history,

00:12:35.580 any politician

00:12:36.320 in American history.

00:12:37.640 And we can't let this

00:12:38.680 just be a throw to the side. 0.51

00:12:40.480 He's going to get through it

00:12:41.220 and it's not going to matter.

00:12:42.140 We have to make this

00:12:43.000 one of the core issues

00:12:44.200 because this man

00:12:45.160 is willing to give up

00:12:46.000 his own golf courses,

00:12:47.200 his own properties,

00:12:48.380 his own net worth

00:12:49.840 in order to serve this country

00:12:51.260 and to bring this country back.

00:12:52.700 So anybody who is willing to say,

00:12:54.340 you know,

00:12:54.800 that Donald Trump

00:12:55.440 is doing this

00:12:56.220 for his own self-worth

00:12:57.580 or his own monetary value.

00:12:59.300 I hope that this

00:12:59.960 is proving them incorrect

00:13:01.120 because he is risking

00:13:02.720 everything in his life,

00:13:05.020 his family's financial well-being,

00:13:07.140 his own financials well-being.

00:13:08.480 He is putting everything

00:13:09.740 on the line

00:13:10.420 to save this country.

00:13:11.860 And I think that

00:13:12.960 the American people

00:13:13.860 can see that.

00:13:14.740 The independents

00:13:15.380 and swing states

00:13:16.040 can see that.

00:13:16.960 Everybody who is paying

00:13:18.100 attention to this

00:13:19.280 can see that.

00:13:20.400 And that's why

00:13:20.840 you're seeing him up in polling.

00:13:22.360 That's why you're seeing

00:13:22.920 his fundraising numbers go up.

00:13:24.480 And that's why

00:13:25.160 he's going to come out

00:13:26.040 of this successful

00:13:26.780 because the America first base

00:13:28.220 and even the modern

00:13:29.260 swing voter can see

00:13:30.840 that this is nothing

00:13:31.560 but a bias attack

00:13:32.380 towards the next president

00:13:33.560 if the same path continues.

00:13:35.480 Again, we can't get complacent,

00:13:37.040 but we have to address

00:13:37.860 that this weaponization

00:13:39.440 has made this more obvious

00:13:40.660 to me that Donald Trump

00:13:41.760 is the right man

00:13:42.660 to lead this country

00:13:43.620 and to lead this movement

00:13:44.440 back from the current

00:13:45.800 Biden administration,

00:13:46.700 a fascist regime

00:13:47.720 that does nothing

00:13:48.440 but go after

00:13:49.020 their political opponents

00:13:50.120 than any time

00:13:50.860 in American history.

00:13:51.860 We have to make this

00:13:52.760 the most consequential

00:13:53.860 presidency

00:13:54.480 and the most consequential

00:13:55.940 presidential campaign

00:13:56.800 in American history.

00:13:58.060 And if we keep on

00:13:58.540 the same trajectory

00:13:59.360 and it's this out

00:14:00.700 in the open

00:14:01.040 of what they're trying

00:14:01.580 to do to this man,

00:14:02.220 I think we're going

00:14:02.660 to achieve that.

00:14:04.440 I'm looking at IA polls

00:14:05.820 right now.

00:14:06.560 We've got Trump

00:14:07.580 is up in the markets.

00:14:10.120 Trump is up.

00:14:11.000 I mean, this CNN,

00:14:12.040 SRS poll,

00:14:12.720 look, he's up six points

00:14:14.860 in the three-way race

00:14:16.680 or excuse me,

00:14:17.140 four-way race

00:14:17.860 in Michigan,

00:14:18.940 which consolidates

00:14:20.800 to eight points,

00:14:23.000 eight points

00:14:23.740 in a two-way race

00:14:24.620 in Michigan.

00:14:25.080 Now, we know we're

00:14:25.400 not going to get

00:14:25.880 a two-way race.

00:14:27.360 So RFK, Cornell West,

00:14:29.360 that's pulling a lot

00:14:30.580 of the vote out there.

00:14:31.360 Pennsylvania as well,

00:14:33.160 again, a state

00:14:34.240 that we're told

00:14:35.000 quote-unquote

00:14:35.480 flipped in 2020.

00:14:37.720 He's now at parity

00:14:38.980 in the two-and-two race,

00:14:40.580 head-to-head race,

00:14:41.640 or with RFK

00:14:43.100 on the ticket,

00:14:44.300 West on the ticket,

00:14:45.960 you're now seeing

00:14:47.020 Trump up two,

00:14:48.380 Biden at 38,

00:14:49.460 RFK at 16,

00:14:51.000 West at four.

00:14:52.640 Kenny, what do you view

00:14:53.780 the, I guess I would say

00:14:56.440 the effect of these

00:14:57.600 potential third-party candidates,

00:14:59.040 or let's just say

00:14:59.540 the third-party candidates,

00:15:00.660 by the way,

00:15:00.940 the Green Party

00:15:01.560 is potentially going to be

00:15:02.740 on the ballot as well

00:15:03.640 with all these extra choices.

00:15:05.300 Do you think that people

00:15:06.320 really are willing

00:15:07.500 to just drop Joe Biden?

00:15:09.160 He is a problem

00:15:09.900 on his left flank.

00:15:11.600 Yeah, I mean,

00:15:12.320 I think that there is

00:15:13.320 an obvious problem.

00:15:14.240 I mean, when you have

00:15:14.640 Cornell West going out there

00:15:15.920 and openly embracing

00:15:17.000 Hamas and see even 0.91

00:15:17.940 some of the far left

00:15:18.820 going to his side,

00:15:19.780 that shows the party's

00:15:21.020 disinterest in Joe Biden.

00:15:22.700 And I think that,

00:15:23.760 you know,

00:15:24.000 it depends on really

00:15:24.840 the poll,

00:15:25.300 depends on the state,

00:15:26.140 how Kennedy really affects

00:15:27.540 how much it takes away

00:15:29.040 from Trump,

00:15:29.460 how much it takes away

00:15:30.220 from Biden.

00:15:30.700 But people forget,

00:15:31.340 you know,

00:15:31.500 Kennedy was running

00:15:32.120 in the Democratic primary

00:15:33.000 against Biden.

00:15:33.980 He does have an

00:15:34.660 ancestry legacy name

00:15:36.260 that even people

00:15:37.160 who don't know

00:15:37.620 who he is

00:15:38.220 may still vote

00:15:38.800 for Kennedy over Biden

00:15:39.760 if they're tired

00:15:40.460 of this old man, 0.99

00:15:41.840 incompetent, 1.00

00:15:43.080 geriatric person 0.97

00:15:44.160 who is currently

00:15:44.740 holding the office.

00:15:45.640 They may just vote

00:15:46.220 for a Kennedy

00:15:46.720 because he's a Kennedy,

00:15:48.260 right?

00:15:48.560 I mean,

00:15:48.900 that's pretty obvious.

00:15:50.140 But I think people

00:15:51.280 like Cornell West,

00:15:52.280 Jill Stein,

00:15:53.080 I think is running

00:15:53.500 for the Green Party nomination.

00:15:54.900 We'll see if no labels

00:15:56.120 puts up a candidate,

00:15:57.140 whether that's going

00:15:57.620 to be Chris Christie

00:15:58.440 or somebody else,

00:15:59.200 how much is that's going

00:15:59.880 to affect Trump even more

00:16:01.080 or Biden for that matter.

00:16:03.000 But the way

00:16:03.620 the current trajectories are,

00:16:04.760 it seems like RFK

00:16:05.980 kind of splits down

00:16:07.360 the middle of Trump

00:16:08.440 and Biden's support.

00:16:09.200 I think used to

00:16:09.960 in old polling,

00:16:11.180 he took a little bit more

00:16:12.020 from Trump

00:16:12.540 than he did for Biden.

00:16:13.420 But as it kind of goes

00:16:14.600 towards the general election,

00:16:16.320 it seems like polling

00:16:17.280 is a little bit more favorable

00:16:18.540 towards when RFK runs.

00:16:20.580 Trump is actually benefiting too.

00:16:22.220 I forget if it was Maine

00:16:23.760 or Colorado,

00:16:25.280 one of those states

00:16:26.140 that's even deep blue.

00:16:27.780 RFK was actually helping

00:16:28.860 Trump in polling

00:16:29.600 because they had a Kennedy

00:16:30.660 on the ballot.

00:16:31.420 So to me,

00:16:32.280 the more the merrier

00:16:33.000 unless it's somebody,

00:16:34.160 you know,

00:16:34.380 some putting a former Republican

00:16:35.800 in the Libertarian Party spot

00:16:37.180 or a constitutional party spot,

00:16:38.500 something like that

00:16:39.260 or putting a Republican

00:16:40.320 in an old label spot,

00:16:41.420 that'd be a lot different.

00:16:42.280 But you have Larry Hogan

00:16:43.040 running in Maryland

00:16:43.840 and that was one of my main concerns

00:16:46.060 of a Republican running

00:16:47.020 and taking votes away from Trump.

00:16:48.760 But I think that it's kind of

00:16:50.240 going to be evenly split

00:16:51.080 and even in these sort of

00:16:52.060 deep blue states

00:16:53.080 and even kind of more favorable

00:16:55.060 towards lean blue swing states

00:16:57.200 like Wisconsin or Michigan.

00:16:59.000 I think that Trump's

00:16:59.740 benefited by RFK.

00:17:01.480 Hopefully that that same trend continues 0.76

00:17:03.020 that may swim back

00:17:03.840 in the other direction

00:17:04.440 like it was a few months ago

00:17:05.640 when RFK was taking more votes

00:17:07.260 away from Trump

00:17:07.800 than he did for Biden.

00:17:08.720 But the way it currently is,

00:17:09.700 it looks like a lot of Democrats

00:17:10.540 are disinterested

00:17:11.420 in showing interest

00:17:12.300 in Jill Stein,

00:17:13.520 in Cornel West and in RFK.

00:17:15.180 And hopefully that will benefit

00:17:16.460 Trump heading towards November.

00:17:19.420 And so this is huge

00:17:21.360 because you're looking

00:17:22.920 at all of these things

00:17:23.980 and we've got a break

00:17:24.880 coming up in about a minute here.

00:17:26.920 And I want to get into

00:17:28.400 after that,

00:17:29.180 the truth social news,

00:17:30.520 massive news

00:17:31.260 out there for Trump

00:17:32.540 regarding this deal,

00:17:34.440 which has finally gone through

00:17:35.260 the SPAC merger,

00:17:36.340 which was approved.

00:17:38.180 We're looking at a situation

00:17:39.620 where there's a lot of headwinds

00:17:41.180 for Trump right now.

00:17:42.480 It looks like Biden,

00:17:43.780 pun intended,

00:17:44.760 you know,

00:17:45.040 could blow him over with a leaf.

00:17:46.560 That's clearly what's going on.

00:17:48.080 But at the same time,

00:17:49.660 I don't sit pretty

00:17:51.820 when things are going well.

00:17:53.420 That's when I get suspicious.

00:17:55.080 That's when I get worried

00:17:56.160 about what could come up ahead.

00:17:57.500 So Kenny Cody,

00:17:58.200 when we go through this

00:17:59.500 after the break,

00:18:00.440 I want you to break down for us

00:18:01.660 what you think

00:18:02.000 the biggest challenges are

00:18:03.620 for Trump

00:18:04.400 and his agenda

00:18:05.640 to return to office right now

00:18:08.140 because these guys out there

00:18:09.440 on the left,

00:18:10.780 the guys who swung

00:18:12.000 quote unquote

00:18:12.720 the 2020 election

00:18:14.200 have not gone away

00:18:15.520 and they're going to be there

00:18:16.740 in 2024 as well.

00:18:18.080 Jack Posobiec,

00:18:18.880 Kenny Cody,

00:18:19.460 coming back,

00:18:19.920 Human Events Daily

00:18:20.600 after the break.

00:18:24.260 Talk about influencers.

00:18:25.720 These are influencers

00:18:26.660 and they're friends of mine.

00:18:29.160 Jack Posobiec.

00:18:31.480 Where's Jack?

00:18:32.420 Jack.

00:18:33.540 He's done a great job.

00:18:37.660 All right, Jack Posobiec back alive.

00:18:38.900 I want to tell you guys

00:18:39.420 about today's sponsor,

00:18:40.400 Allegiance Gold.

00:18:41.500 If you're part of

00:18:42.000 the Human Events Daily audience,

00:18:43.200 you know exactly what's going on

00:18:44.340 with the U.S. dollar.

00:18:45.080 Putin himself said it

00:18:46.020 during that Tucker Carlson interview

00:18:47.520 and we know that was seen

00:18:48.260 over 100 million times.

00:18:50.240 We were printing too much money

00:18:51.700 and the weaponization

00:18:52.780 of the U.S. dollar

00:18:53.660 was a mistake.

00:18:54.360 The consequences of overprinting

00:18:56.220 will be catastrophic

00:18:57.280 for your family's future

00:18:58.460 and with the 401k accounts

00:19:00.220 losing 25% of their value

00:19:02.420 over the past two to three years,

00:19:04.000 why would you continue

00:19:04.860 to risk your personal savings?

00:19:07.060 Don't gamble with

00:19:07.700 your financial future.

00:19:08.760 Invest in the one thing

00:19:09.860 that's been proven stable

00:19:22.060 the highest trust ratings

00:19:23.120 in the precious metals industry.

00:19:47.080 Kenny,

00:19:47.840 so we're on, folks,

00:19:48.900 now with Kenny Cody,

00:19:50.200 columnist for humanevents.com.

00:19:51.700 And I wanted to posit to everyone,

00:19:53.780 so we're working on this subject now,

00:19:55.120 this concept for the,

00:19:57.880 you know,

00:19:58.100 for our upcoming book,

00:19:59.300 The Unhumans, 0.97

00:20:00.780 and it's this concept

00:20:02.600 of micro-revolutions

00:20:03.800 and this idea

00:20:04.980 that everybody knows

00:20:05.880 the communist revolution

00:20:06.980 of, you know,

00:20:08.360 1917 in Russia

00:20:09.840 was like a civil war.

00:20:11.300 In the 1930s in Spain,

00:20:12.860 it was a civil war.

00:20:13.900 But then you flash forward

00:20:15.280 to China in the 1960s,

00:20:17.720 1967,

00:20:18.540 the cultural revolution

00:20:19.260 kicks off.

00:20:20.320 It becomes more of a movement,

00:20:23.680 a political movement

00:20:24.720 style revolution

00:20:25.660 where it's not being waged

00:20:27.420 in the old sort of

00:20:28.720 second generation warfare setting.

00:20:32.440 It's being waged more in schools

00:20:34.280 and in public settings

00:20:36.260 and in, you know,

00:20:37.760 churches or universities,

00:20:40.000 institutions, etc.

00:20:41.340 I would actually say

00:20:43.000 that what we've been experiencing,

00:20:45.200 what Donald Trump

00:20:45.720 is experiencing right now

00:20:46.840 is a form of a micro-revolution

00:20:50.040 and, in fact,

00:20:51.280 daily micro-revolutions

00:20:53.240 that are being conducted

00:20:55.360 against him,

00:20:56.140 waged against him

00:20:57.000 by his enemies,

00:20:57.920 by his opponents.

00:20:59.220 And this is a tactic

00:21:00.460 that they use over and over,

00:21:02.120 not just against him,

00:21:04.060 but also against anyone

00:21:06.200 who stands against them,

00:21:07.480 Trump really just most,

00:21:09.200 most predominantly.

00:21:12.180 And you can see him fight back.

00:21:14.380 And I think that it's really,

00:21:16.480 you know, to your point,

00:21:17.480 it's the perception battle

00:21:20.460 that everyone is in

00:21:21.600 that they can see

00:21:22.680 that Trump is a guy

00:21:24.880 who's running for president,

00:21:26.000 who did a pretty good job

00:21:27.060 as president,

00:21:27.700 certainly far better

00:21:28.600 than Joe Biden is right now.

00:21:30.700 That's why the backlash

00:21:31.840 is happening.

00:21:32.660 But let me ask you this,

00:21:33.820 and we talked about it beforehand,

00:21:35.680 true social news out there,

00:21:37.360 break that down for us,

00:21:38.320 and then let's get into

00:21:39.340 these different challenges

00:21:41.280 that he is going to face

00:21:42.980 between now and November.

00:21:44.500 Yeah, so Trump's investment

00:21:46.060 is going to pay off

00:21:46.900 into true social.

00:21:47.700 I know a lot of people

00:21:48.100 question him leaving Twitter,

00:21:49.380 but now it's going to net him,

00:21:50.940 I think, around $2.6 billion

00:21:52.560 now that true social

00:21:53.820 is a publicly traded

00:21:54.700 social media company.

00:21:56.340 And that's going to really help him

00:21:57.700 in terms of finding

00:21:58.380 his own legal battles.

00:21:59.380 It's going to help him

00:22:00.000 in terms of fundraising

00:22:01.160 for his own political future.

00:22:02.420 It's going to help him invest.

00:22:03.660 It's not going to allow him

00:22:04.760 to be in the pockets

00:22:06.020 of corporate donors going forward.

00:22:08.140 I mean, it's literally

00:22:08.960 going to increase his net worth

00:22:10.120 by a billion dollars.

00:22:11.820 I think New York Times

00:22:12.960 even reported on it

00:22:13.780 about a couple of hours ago

00:22:15.280 how this is an irrefutable win

00:22:17.860 for Donald Trump.

00:22:18.620 This is an irrefutable win

00:22:19.940 in terms of money,

00:22:20.820 monetary value,

00:22:21.360 because we all know

00:22:22.000 politics is funneled by money.

00:22:24.020 Now, whether that's

00:22:24.460 your own money,

00:22:25.020 that's why Donald Trump

00:22:25.720 can be his own man.

00:22:27.180 That's a huge reason.

00:22:28.460 I think that it's a really

00:22:30.440 a huge benefit

00:22:31.640 heading towards November.

00:22:32.700 It's going to allow him,

00:22:33.840 again, not to be

00:22:34.340 in the pockets of donors.

00:22:35.680 They're not going to be able

00:22:36.180 to come in and pitch him VPs.

00:22:37.820 They're not going to be able

00:22:38.180 to come pitch him

00:22:39.500 cabinet positions or anything

00:22:41.120 because they're going

00:22:41.580 to donate to him.

00:22:42.760 He's going to be able

00:22:43.340 to do a lot more

00:22:44.000 of what he actually wants to do

00:22:45.480 like he was in 2016.

00:22:47.380 He was brand new to politics,

00:22:48.460 he was brand new to Washington, D.C.

00:22:50.160 And he's not going to be able

00:22:51.340 to have to go to these fundraisers,

00:22:52.880 go meet with these corporations,

00:22:54.280 go meet with these people

00:22:54.860 that he has to meet with,

00:22:56.380 in quotes,

00:22:57.240 CEOs of companies

00:22:58.220 and things like that.

00:22:59.200 And also, again,

00:23:00.120 allows him to fight

00:23:00.840 the legal battles

00:23:01.460 and the federal representation

00:23:02.520 and state representation

00:23:03.300 of judiciaries

00:23:04.960 and judges

00:23:06.080 to work against him

00:23:06.900 like what's happening

00:23:07.480 in New York.

00:23:08.120 It's going to allow him

00:23:08.840 to kind of translate

00:23:11.020 the fights in legal battle

00:23:12.500 over to his actual

00:23:13.460 political battles

00:23:14.200 that he's going to be facing

00:23:15.000 with Joe Biden

00:23:16.020 and the deep state

00:23:16.580 heading towards November.

00:23:17.520 So this is one of the biggest

00:23:18.820 campaign developments

00:23:19.860 I think there has been

00:23:21.180 in the 2024 season.

00:23:22.920 I think it's been actually

00:23:23.600 underreported on today.

00:23:25.100 It's absolutely humongous

00:23:26.960 in this fight

00:23:28.100 against the federal government

00:23:30.300 weaponization,

00:23:31.080 state government weaponization,

00:23:32.220 and ultimately

00:23:32.720 him not having to be

00:23:34.380 in the pockets

00:23:34.900 of corporate donors.

00:23:35.840 It's absolutely humongous

00:23:36.740 for his campaign.

00:23:38.660 I want to tell everyone

00:23:40.340 that one of the things

00:23:43.000 that we've been talking about

00:23:44.380 for a long time

00:23:45.940 as a potential challenge

00:23:48.160 that could come up

00:23:48.900 between now

00:23:49.720 and the elections

00:23:51.740 that we do have breaking news

00:23:53.180 and just bring this on you,

00:23:56.080 Cody,

00:23:56.400 but there are,

00:23:58.460 there appears to be

00:24:00.600 some sort of mass shooting

00:24:02.160 terror attack going on

00:24:03.500 in Moscow right now

00:24:05.280 as we speak.

00:24:06.720 This is breaking news.

00:24:07.920 This is currently happening.

00:24:09.520 The Krokus City Hall,

00:24:12.120 multiple people shot and killed.

00:24:15.240 It's obviously a civilian event

00:24:17.460 happening right in the Russian capital.

00:24:21.700 People came in with,

00:24:23.200 armed with long guns.

00:24:24.680 I'm just looking at the videos

00:24:25.620 right now a little bit,

00:24:26.480 trying to review some of this

00:24:27.460 in real time.

00:24:30.080 Multiple people killed.

00:24:34.080 U.S. Embassy has just put out

00:24:36.000 a statement.

00:24:37.120 The embassy is monitoring reports

00:24:38.400 that extremists have imminent plans

00:24:40.980 to target large gatherings in Moscow

00:24:44.160 to include concerts

00:24:45.260 and U.S. citizens should be advised.

00:24:47.560 Actually, this, I guess,

00:24:48.640 came out earlier.

00:24:50.080 Be advised to avoid large gatherings

00:24:52.300 over the next 48 hours.

00:24:53.620 I'm just seeing that on Twitter.

00:24:54.640 I'm not sure exactly

00:24:55.900 when that came out.

00:24:56.920 Obviously, fog of war

00:24:58.000 on all of this stuff.

00:24:59.920 Some people are claiming

00:25:00.900 that it's one group.

00:25:01.820 Some people are claiming

00:25:02.440 that it's another group.

00:25:03.260 We don't know for sure yet

00:25:04.380 if this was directly involved

00:25:07.020 in Ukraine.

00:25:07.880 But, Kenny, let's go to that.

00:25:09.820 This idea that there's been

00:25:11.220 so much destabilization

00:25:13.020 in the world.

00:25:14.480 There's been so much

00:25:15.520 of this conflict.

00:25:17.400 Does this play any way

00:25:19.440 into your political analysis?

00:25:21.420 Let's say the Russia-Ukraine situation.

00:25:23.420 You know, does kick off

00:25:26.500 and actually become

00:25:27.240 10 times worse.

00:25:28.600 Not only, you know,

00:25:29.540 not saying that this is part of that,

00:25:31.100 but let's say that it does.

00:25:32.720 Do you think that has a bearing

00:25:33.720 on the election?

00:25:35.120 I think it might

00:25:36.020 because, I mean,

00:25:36.540 you saw all the destabilization

00:25:38.620 of the Joe Biden administration

00:25:39.780 so far.

00:25:40.520 You've seen the destabilization

00:25:41.500 in the Middle East.

00:25:42.220 You've seen it in Israel

00:25:44.100 and Palestine going to war.

00:25:45.980 You're seeing it happen

00:25:46.860 in Russia and Ukraine.

00:25:48.900 You know, I think,

00:25:49.820 I forgot if it was

00:25:50.400 the prime minister to,

00:25:51.700 if it was the prime minister

00:25:52.400 of Poland,

00:25:53.000 if it was an ambassador of Poland,

00:25:54.000 I actually forget.

00:25:55.060 But he believed

00:25:56.420 that if Donald Trump

00:25:57.460 was currently president

00:25:58.160 of the Ukrainian

00:25:58.740 and Russian war

00:25:59.700 would all have escalated

00:26:00.460 the way it did.

00:26:01.120 And he does believe

00:26:01.860 if Donald Trump

00:26:02.380 was the president right now,

00:26:03.340 he would have the Ukrainian

00:26:04.420 and Russian conflict

00:26:05.800 solved within 48 hours.

00:26:07.240 And I think that you're seeing

00:26:08.580 this needful destabilization

00:26:09.800 because there is

00:26:10.340 a power struggle overseas

00:26:11.500 because Donald Trump

00:26:12.660 had an iron fist.

00:26:14.280 He was an unpredictable

00:26:15.300 president of the United States

00:26:16.580 when it came to foreign policy.

00:26:18.260 He was not going to get run over.

00:26:20.180 He was not going to go

00:26:20.720 to war all the time,

00:26:21.800 but you never wanted

00:26:22.860 to mess with him

00:26:23.980 because you didn't know

00:26:25.360 what he was going to do.

00:26:26.360 And that's the kind

00:26:26.700 of foreign policy

00:26:27.340 that we need.

00:26:28.100 We need an anti-war approach 1.00

00:26:29.760 that is not going

00:26:30.900 to necessarily be pacifist.

00:26:32.600 It's not necessarily

00:26:33.180 going to be isolationist,

00:26:34.620 but it's going to create

00:26:35.320 power across the world

00:26:37.980 that the United States

00:26:38.760 is the main superpower.

00:26:40.560 Our president

00:26:40.960 does need to be feared.

00:26:42.280 He needs to be feared

00:26:43.300 across the globe

00:26:44.100 because you don't want

00:26:44.980 to mess with any

00:26:45.660 of the U.S. interest overseas

00:26:47.120 or on our homeland

00:26:49.200 in domestic ways.

00:26:50.540 So when you see

00:26:52.000 this destabilization

00:26:53.040 in Russia,

00:26:53.640 you see it in Iran,

00:26:54.760 you see it in the Middle East,

00:26:55.920 you see it in Israel

00:26:56.780 and Palestine,

00:26:57.460 you see all of this conflict

00:26:58.740 going on over the world.

00:26:59.720 You see it in China 0.98

00:27:00.280 and Taiwan,

00:27:01.220 and now you're seeing it

00:27:01.940 with the mass shooting

00:27:02.780 in Moscow today.

00:27:04.180 You see that

00:27:05.180 because there is

00:27:06.060 no world leader.

00:27:07.040 Not only does Donald Trump

00:27:08.500 need to be the president

00:27:10.200 of the United States,

00:27:10.880 he needs to be the leader

00:27:11.780 of the free world.

00:27:13.260 And being the leader

00:27:14.020 of the free world

00:27:14.500 has a lot of responsibility.

00:27:15.560 It has to do with stabilizing

00:27:17.420 the way that the countries

00:27:18.540 interact with one another.

00:27:19.760 And when you see

00:27:21.080 all these conflicts,

00:27:22.140 you see the disastrous

00:27:23.300 Afghanistan withdrawal

00:27:24.400 of U.S. troops.

00:27:25.580 You see embassies

00:27:26.240 getting attacked overseas.

00:27:27.140 You see us losing soldiers

00:27:29.720 in countries like Jordan.

00:27:31.240 You're seeing the destabilization

00:27:32.420 in Israel and Palestine

00:27:33.860 and Russia and Ukraine.

00:27:35.060 When you're seeing this happen,

00:27:36.600 that does reflect

00:27:37.600 because people want to feel safe.

00:27:39.300 If your wallet feels safe,

00:27:40.920 your fiscal well-being feels safe,

00:27:42.860 and you feel safe

00:27:43.600 living in your country

00:27:44.520 and on the planet,

00:27:45.560 then any destabilization

00:27:47.900 of that is going

00:27:48.720 to make you question

00:27:49.400 who's in the current regime,

00:27:50.500 and the current regime

00:27:51.140 is Joe Biden.

00:27:52.180 So if people feel-

00:27:53.160 And in addition,

00:27:53.980 let me just jump in on that.

00:27:57.320 To your point,

00:27:58.240 it's not just unsafety,

00:28:00.000 safety concerns abroad,

00:28:01.320 but it's the same

00:28:02.700 with safety concerns

00:28:03.540 for quality of life at home

00:28:05.080 because of the rise of crime.

00:28:06.520 We've actually seen

00:28:07.060 these things both happening

00:28:08.020 at the same time.

00:28:08.940 Please continue.

00:28:10.420 Yeah, I mean,

00:28:11.160 you're seeing domestic issues

00:28:12.920 happen too.

00:28:13.540 When you're seeing

00:28:14.060 the open border,

00:28:14.980 you're seeing illegals 1.00

00:28:15.660 coming to the country,

00:28:16.440 you're seeing fentanyl overdoses

00:28:18.080 being the leading cause

00:28:19.700 of people for deaths

00:28:21.860 in 18 to 25-year-olds.

00:28:23.920 You're seeing that happen

00:28:24.720 in our own country,

00:28:25.520 and you're seeing

00:28:26.300 our own country people

00:28:27.980 trying to stay up and say,

00:28:29.060 hey, we're going to support

00:28:29.880 Hamas,

00:28:30.220 we're going to support Palestine.

00:28:31.220 It's not because necessarily

00:28:32.920 that these people

00:28:34.180 actually had these

00:28:35.040 sort of ideologies inside,

00:28:36.880 but you're seeing

00:28:37.360 a destabilization affect

00:28:38.720 not only well-being,

00:28:40.080 but ideology.

00:28:40.980 You're seeing people

00:28:41.840 go to the extreme

00:28:42.840 when it comes to

00:28:43.820 their viewpoints

00:28:44.780 on foreign policy,

00:28:45.840 on domestic policy,

00:28:47.420 on world issues,

00:28:48.720 or whatever else.

00:28:49.860 I mean, you're seeing,

00:28:51.200 like you said,

00:28:52.400 you're seeing destabilization

00:28:53.720 in domestic affairs,

00:28:54.860 you're seeing it

00:28:55.340 in foreign affairs,

00:28:56.440 and that comes from

00:28:57.500 a destabilization

00:28:58.660 in the White House.

00:28:59.720 Again, the president

00:29:01.000 is the leader

00:29:01.580 of the free world.

00:29:02.540 To me, he or she

00:29:04.500 is not just the president

00:29:05.400 of the United States.

00:29:06.620 They are the president

00:29:07.600 of the world

00:29:09.520 and the leader

00:29:11.040 of the free world.

00:29:11.940 That's why that phrase

00:29:12.580 has always been used.

00:29:13.660 If the United States

00:29:14.320 feels safe,

00:29:15.040 and the United States

00:29:15.580 is safe at home,

00:29:16.340 and they have a role

00:29:17.480 across the globe

00:29:18.640 and globally,

00:29:20.000 then people are going

00:29:20.920 to feel more safe

00:29:21.960 economically.

00:29:22.680 They're going to feel

00:29:23.280 more safe at home.

00:29:24.500 They're going to feel

00:29:24.920 more safe to go out

00:29:25.740 and walk on the street

00:29:26.780 and go and walk

00:29:27.700 with their dog.

00:29:28.420 It affects every facet

00:29:30.140 of life if you have

00:29:30.900 not only a brave president,

00:29:32.660 not only a safe president,

00:29:33.820 but a strong president.

00:29:35.100 That's exactly

00:29:35.660 what President Trump was.

00:29:37.120 There's a reason

00:29:37.660 this is the first rematch

00:29:38.900 in American history

00:29:39.700 between two presidents.

00:29:40.940 You can compare

00:29:41.420 and contrast in four years,

00:29:43.320 who did you feel

00:29:43.960 more safe under?

00:29:45.080 Donald Trump

00:29:45.800 or Joe Biden?

00:29:46.620 And that doesn't just go

00:29:47.860 for United States citizens.

00:29:49.080 That goes for those

00:29:49.760 that are overseas.

00:29:50.860 Did you feel safer

00:29:51.600 when Donald Trump

00:29:52.320 was president of the United States

00:29:53.420 or when Joe Biden

00:29:54.320 was president of the United States?

00:29:55.400 That is the most obvious answer

00:29:57.000 in the history

00:29:57.600 of American politics

00:29:58.520 between two

00:29:59.380 four-term presidencies.

00:30:01.240 And when you look

00:30:01.920 and compare,

00:30:02.700 compare and contrast

00:30:03.620 at a simple scale,

00:30:05.080 who weighs more

00:30:05.980 when it comes

00:30:07.040 to actual accomplishments,

00:30:08.560 when it comes

00:30:09.100 to safety nets,

00:30:10.120 it's always going

00:30:11.040 to be Donald Trump

00:30:11.780 when you compare

00:30:12.440 his successes

00:30:13.360 and his stabilization

00:30:14.640 during his presidency

00:30:15.860 in comparison

00:30:16.460 to Joe Biden.

00:30:17.840 And if we had Donald Trump

00:30:18.900 as president again,

00:30:19.960 that's going to mean

00:30:20.980 that we're going

00:30:21.560 to lead up

00:30:22.220 and we're going

00:30:22.780 to be stabilized

00:30:23.320 where can people

00:30:25.900 follow you?

00:30:27.460 At Katie,

00:30:33.660 Appreciate you, Jack.

00:30:34.400 Thank you, brother,

00:30:34.900 and God bless.

00:30:36.060 Please read Kenny

00:30:38.640 We're right back

00:30:39.320 with

00:30:39.960 Captain Patel,

00:30:42.360 Bradley Thayer

00:30:42.960 and Reaching Communist China,

00:30:46.120 the strategic group.

00:30:48.740 Hey, Jack,

00:30:49.640 where is Jack?

00:30:51.720 Where is Jack?

00:30:53.980 Where is he?

00:30:55.300 Jack, I want to see you.

00:30:58.940 Great job, Jack.

00:31:00.400 Thank you.

00:31:01.160 What a job you do.

00:31:02.580 You know,

00:31:02.820 we have an incredible thing.

00:31:03.960 We're always talking

00:31:04.540 about the fake news

00:31:05.560 and the bad,

00:31:06.280 but we have guys

00:31:07.300 and these are the guys

00:31:08.680 who'll be getting

00:31:09.240 Pulisic.

00:31:12.220 All right,

00:31:12.780 Jack Pacific back live.

00:31:14.060 We are still conducting

00:31:15.660 our ongoing monitoring

00:31:18.180 of the situation

00:31:18.940 in Moscow.

00:31:20.080 As I just said earlier,

00:31:21.500 as far as we know,

00:31:22.980 the area of the fire

00:31:25.080 in Kroka City Hall

00:31:26.120 can be up to 3,000 square meters.

00:31:29.280 This is just outside Moscow

00:31:31.460 and some of the areas

00:31:33.660 had events that were canceled

00:31:36.600 due to the incident outside.

00:31:38.960 We're told,

00:31:39.980 I'm just reading this

00:31:41.240 from Russian media reports,

00:31:42.420 so grain of salt

00:31:43.220 on everything,

00:31:44.100 fog of war,

00:31:44.700 all that,

00:31:45.600 that firefighters rescued

00:31:47.460 100 people from the basement

00:31:48.940 in the City Hall.

00:31:50.200 40 people were killed

00:31:51.700 and more than 100 were injured

00:31:52.980 as a result of the shooting.

00:31:54.320 No official confirmation yet.

00:31:58.280 Multiple five-armed people

00:32:00.240 were part of a group

00:32:01.380 that carried out the shooting.

00:32:02.580 Some kind of explosion

00:32:03.540 set the concert hall on fire.

00:32:07.200 There are claims

00:32:08.340 and videos now circulating

00:32:09.520 on Twitter X

00:32:10.600 that the building itself,

00:32:13.140 the building itself

00:32:14.560 is in danger of the roof collapsing

00:32:16.620 or has begun to collapse.

00:32:18.240 Don't know at this time

00:32:19.560 how many people are inside.

00:32:21.480 And again,

00:32:22.900 I will continue to monitor this

00:32:24.600 as the situation unfolds

00:32:27.140 here in real time.

00:32:29.860 But,

00:32:30.900 duty calls

00:32:32.680 and as we are living

00:32:33.760 in a time of political instability

00:32:35.480 both in Eurasia,

00:32:37.380 we are also looking at instability

00:32:38.800 in North America

00:32:39.920 as well as in East Asia.

00:32:43.020 Oh, just got a report

00:32:44.100 that Russian special forces

00:32:46.200 appear to be storming

00:32:47.780 the concert venue.

00:32:49.060 So we'll see how that goes.

00:32:50.140 In East Asia,

00:32:52.480 we are also looking

00:32:53.300 at destabilization

00:32:54.160 and our next two guests,

00:32:55.680 Dr. Bradley Thayer

00:32:56.560 and retired U.S. Navy Captain

00:32:58.760 Jim Fanel

00:32:59.620 have written a new book,

00:33:00.840 got it right here,

00:33:01.820 Embracing Communist China, 0.90

00:33:03.680 America's Greatest Strategic Failure.

00:33:06.720 Everyone needs to read this book

00:33:08.200 to understand the truth

00:33:09.420 about the U.S.'s relationship

00:33:10.760 with the Chinese Communist Party

00:33:13.020 and how we've mismanaged

00:33:14.880 this relationship

00:33:15.880 over the years.

00:33:17.780 Dr. Thayer,

00:33:18.420 Captain Fanel,

00:33:18.880 it is an honor to have you both on.

00:33:21.220 Well, thank you, Jack.

00:33:22.000 Thanks very much indeed

00:33:22.940 for the opportunity today.

00:33:25.140 Great to see you, Jack.

00:33:26.360 Great to be on.

00:33:28.300 For folks who don't know,

00:33:30.320 Captain Fanel and I

00:33:31.180 actually spent some time

00:33:32.600 serving together

00:33:33.720 when we were still

00:33:34.420 both in the Navy,

00:33:35.880 conducted a sort of

00:33:37.300 a joint visit mission

00:33:38.460 to South Korea,

00:33:39.620 trying to get the

00:33:40.300 South Koreans on board

00:33:41.780 with the counter-CCP operations

00:33:44.440 that were going on over there.

00:33:45.740 That's right.

00:33:47.980 It's been a few years ago,

00:33:49.300 but some of us

00:33:51.280 have been working this

00:33:52.020 for quite a while.

00:33:54.280 Amen.

00:33:55.100 So tell me more

00:33:56.440 about the thesis of the book.

00:33:57.840 And for my audience,

00:33:59.040 you know,

00:33:59.160 I think a lot of folks

00:34:00.040 have heard this,

00:34:01.300 you know,

00:34:01.800 in a general sense,

00:34:02.800 but maybe not quite

00:34:03.760 as detailed

00:34:04.760 as you have put it all together,

00:34:06.220 because it really was

00:34:08.180 this American merger

00:34:09.520 following Tiananmen Square,

00:34:12.500 following the fall

00:34:13.600 of Chairman Mao,

00:34:14.560 the beginning

00:34:14.920 with the foreign direct investment

00:34:16.100 in the 1970s,

00:34:17.260 then after Tiananmen Square,

00:34:18.440 bringing China

00:34:19.100 into the global system.

00:34:21.460 It's been this huge embrace

00:34:23.040 of the Chinese Communist Party,

00:34:24.680 hasn't it?

00:34:26.620 It has been, Jack.

00:34:28.220 And so the central question

00:34:30.300 of the book

00:34:30.720 is how did this happen?

00:34:31.960 How is it that China 0.98

00:34:33.440 could rise so rapidly

00:34:34.980 and 30 years go

00:34:36.180 from less than 1%

00:34:38.000 of world growth

00:34:38.640 domestic product

00:34:39.680 to about 19% in 2019?

00:34:42.520 That's a remarkable rise.

00:34:45.680 And so Jim and I

00:34:47.240 both were interested

00:34:48.380 in that issue.

00:34:49.900 And the book argues

00:34:51.240 there are two big causes

00:34:52.620 of how that happened.

00:34:53.780 First,

00:34:54.160 it was the strategy

00:34:55.140 of Deng Xiaoping,

00:34:56.200 a political warfare strategy

00:34:57.780 expertly forged

00:35:00.020 and executed

00:35:00.880 what was called

00:35:02.120 hide-and-bide

00:35:03.040 by the Chinese,

00:35:04.280 which was to minimize

00:35:05.800 the threat

00:35:06.480 while making Wall Street,

00:35:08.020 the Chamber of Commerce,

00:35:09.880 and U.S. politicians

00:35:11.060 partners with the CCP,

00:35:12.920 with the Chinese Communist Party.

00:35:14.820 But it takes two to tango.

00:35:16.440 And so it also took

00:35:17.620 U.S. business interests,

00:35:19.180 the Clinton administration,

00:35:21.140 U.S. Chamber of Commerce

00:35:22.600 to shift manufacturing,

00:35:24.140 U.S. manufacturing

00:35:25.120 to the People's Republic

00:35:26.600 of China,

00:35:27.220 and U.S. investors

00:35:28.280 to year after year invest,

00:35:31.420 giving rise to what we call

00:35:32.840 the engagement school,

00:35:34.380 right,

00:35:34.660 where the idea

00:35:35.320 of the American elites

00:35:36.460 was you needed

00:35:37.100 to engage with China

00:35:38.520 in order to change

00:35:41.080 its behavior,

00:35:42.160 in order to make it

00:35:43.040 a responsible stakeholder,

00:35:45.460 as was said

00:35:46.280 during the Bush administration.

00:35:48.500 And, of course,

00:35:49.320 being communists,

00:35:50.400 they didn't change anything.

00:35:51.640 They just got richer.

00:35:53.540 And our policies

00:35:55.100 added rocket fuel

00:35:56.840 really to their growth.

00:35:58.840 We're responsible

00:35:59.680 for the growth

00:36:00.760 of communist China.

00:36:02.080 We're responsible

00:36:02.740 for saving

00:36:03.560 the Chinese Communist Party.

00:36:06.040 And a big part

00:36:07.100 of how that happened

00:36:07.940 was what we call

00:36:08.540 threat deflation,

00:36:09.740 where year after year,

00:36:11.500 as China was getting stronger

00:36:13.320 militarily,

00:36:14.380 diplomatically,

00:36:15.300 technologically,

00:36:16.840 our intelligence community,

00:36:19.300 our military,

00:36:20.380 our politicians,

00:36:21.360 our national security

00:36:22.240 community broadly

00:36:23.280 always discounted it.

00:36:25.660 They always deflated

00:36:26.840 the threat

00:36:27.540 of China's rise.

00:36:29.580 So that's what the book

00:36:30.820 covers in a nutshell.

00:36:32.740 And, Kat Fennell,

00:36:36.600 one thing that we look at

00:36:38.500 in terms of this also

00:36:40.140 is how the U.S.,

00:36:41.520 and in many ways,

00:36:42.580 just went along with this

00:36:43.780 as China was rising and rising.

00:36:45.540 And so for the people

00:36:46.160 who warned about this,

00:36:48.320 they were summarily

00:36:49.560 either told to step aside

00:36:51.660 or to essentially be quiet.

00:36:53.040 Isn't that right?

00:36:55.200 Well, yeah,

00:36:56.540 it didn't come out

00:36:57.320 that directly,

00:36:58.020 but there was,

00:36:59.180 people were basically

00:37:00.340 directed to say that,

00:37:03.180 you know,

00:37:03.520 show me the exact proof

00:37:04.980 of this or that.

00:37:05.940 And so, you know,

00:37:06.680 after the 9-11 commission

00:37:08.160 and the WMD scandal

00:37:10.400 and all that,

00:37:11.500 there was,

00:37:12.380 you know,

00:37:12.700 when I arrived

00:37:13.300 at the Office

00:37:13.720 of Naval Intelligence

00:37:14.500 where we were working together,

00:37:16.460 I remember the line analysts,

00:37:18.980 you know,

00:37:19.220 afraid to say certain things

00:37:20.720 about the PRC

00:37:21.680 because there was this

00:37:23.180 kind of like,

00:37:24.140 well,

00:37:24.260 you can't say that

00:37:25.100 because you don't have

00:37:25.860 the order from,

00:37:27.360 at that time,

00:37:28.040 you know,

00:37:28.300 Jiang Zemin

00:37:28.780 or you didn't have

00:37:29.500 the order from later on

00:37:30.940 Hu Jintao.

00:37:31.580 You didn't have

00:37:32.080 something explicit,

00:37:33.820 which is not what

00:37:35.260 intelligence profession

00:37:36.520 is about.

00:37:37.240 The intelligence profession,

00:37:38.940 as you know,

00:37:40.140 is about taking

00:37:41.000 disparate pieces

00:37:41.740 of information

00:37:42.860 from various sources,

00:37:45.400 human intelligence,

00:37:47.080 technical intelligence,

00:37:48.720 and combining

00:37:49.580 all that together

00:37:50.420 and coming up

00:37:51.160 with a warning

00:37:52.260 about what's going

00:37:53.000 to happen

00:37:53.380 and then to not just

00:37:54.780 say the warning

00:37:55.520 but to make sure

00:37:56.220 that your bosses

00:37:57.360 understood it

00:37:58.320 and took corrective action.

00:38:00.220 And so to that extent,

00:38:01.460 the intelligence community

00:38:03.080 had, as Brad said,

00:38:05.580 deflated the threat

00:38:06.500 over the last 30 years.

00:38:08.300 And it wasn't really

00:38:09.240 until the Trump administration

00:38:11.160 came in that it was,

00:38:13.100 you know,

00:38:13.480 we had a president

00:38:14.160 that said it's okay

00:38:15.000 to say that.

00:38:15.940 And before that,

00:38:17.000 especially during

00:38:17.660 the Obama years,

00:38:18.560 it was explicitly,

00:38:20.560 you know,

00:38:21.340 this idea of

00:38:22.240 we're not going

00:38:22.940 to provoke China

00:38:23.760 so we don't want to

00:38:24.620 say certain things

00:38:25.980 out in public

00:38:26.620 about what they're doing.

00:38:28.160 But by the time

00:38:29.060 that Obama was leaving,

00:38:30.460 it became almost

00:38:31.400 empirically evident

00:38:33.220 of what they were doing.

00:38:34.520 For instance,

00:38:35.220 stealing Scarborough Shoal

00:38:36.620 from our ally,

00:38:38.780 the Philippines,

00:38:39.440 in 2012.

00:38:40.360 Or from 2013 to 2015,

00:38:43.320 building islands

00:38:44.240 in the South China Sea,

00:38:45.500 seven of them,

00:38:46.300 three of which

00:38:46.780 are the size

00:38:47.260 of Pearl Harbor,

00:38:48.300 and then watching

00:38:48.980 Xi come to Washington,

00:38:50.520 D.C.

00:38:50.860 and telling Obama,

00:38:52.260 oh,

00:38:52.360 I won't militarize them.

00:38:53.540 And they're now militarized.

00:38:55.220 And they were militarized

00:38:56.240 by 2015,

00:38:57.260 2016.

00:38:58.220 So I think

00:38:59.140 the reality is

00:39:00.080 is that we had,

00:39:01.540 you know,

00:39:02.100 Wall Street

00:39:02.680 providing money

00:39:04.280 to help build the PRC

00:39:05.760 and build these pictures

00:39:06.680 that you're seeing,

00:39:07.660 that folks are seeing

00:39:08.360 on the screen

00:39:08.980 of this big military.

00:39:10.520 We had the intelligence community,

00:39:12.800 we had the academic community

00:39:14.180 and our think tanks

00:39:15.160 and the State Department,

00:39:16.540 all going along

00:39:17.440 with this notion

00:39:18.140 that,

00:39:18.940 well,

00:39:19.120 we just need to get along

00:39:20.100 with them

00:39:20.420 and talk to them

00:39:21.060 and they'll become

00:39:21.580 more like us.

00:39:22.820 And now 30 years later,

00:39:24.100 what we're seeing

00:39:24.800 is that we've become

00:39:26.160 more like them

00:39:27.020 as we watch

00:39:28.180 what we did in COVID

00:39:29.120 and all these mandates

00:39:30.600 and restrictions.

00:39:31.540 And so,

00:39:32.080 who's influenced who more?

00:39:33.720 And I think it's pretty clear.

00:39:35.240 And right now,

00:39:36.000 the danger is

00:39:36.940 is that they've got the knife,

00:39:38.660 they've got the gun 0.82

00:39:39.500 pointed at our head 0.75

00:39:40.520 that we gave them

00:39:41.360 and they're willing to use it.

00:39:44.020 And that's the real concern

00:39:45.500 that we have right now

00:39:46.520 and why we wrote the book

00:39:47.860 is to help provide warning

00:39:49.200 and to awaken

00:39:50.100 the American people,

00:39:51.220 especially as we enter

00:39:52.000 this election season.

00:39:54.880 You know,

00:39:55.400 I could not agree more

00:39:56.180 with what you just said there,

00:39:57.260 this idea that

00:39:58.180 not only,

00:39:59.720 right,

00:40:00.040 not only did the U.S.

00:40:01.880 fuel the rise

00:40:02.960 of the Chinese Communist Party

00:40:04.220 and finance the rise

00:40:05.740 of the Chinese Communist Party.

00:40:06.940 We're coming up

00:40:07.240 on a break here,

00:40:08.260 gentlemen,

00:40:08.780 but in doing so,

00:40:11.460 and I saw this

00:40:12.060 when I worked in Shanghai

00:40:13.380 at the American Chamber

00:40:14.360 of Commerce,

00:40:14.960 that business leaders

00:40:15.840 and government leaders

00:40:16.780 would come by

00:40:17.640 and they would be engrossed

00:40:20.460 and in many ways

00:40:23.060 seduced by the power,

00:40:25.520 the total power,

00:40:26.460 the absolute power

00:40:27.380 the Chinese Communist Party

00:40:28.760 had over the municipal

00:40:30.260 planning areas

00:40:31.380 of their ability

00:40:32.440 to destroy businesses,

00:40:34.940 destroy houses,

00:40:35.740 to create their new

00:40:36.980 mega projects,

00:40:37.860 mega factories,

00:40:38.600 mega trains,

00:40:39.180 whatever it might be,

00:40:40.400 that they could

00:40:41.120 immediately embrace

00:40:42.380 progress

00:40:42.840 progress

00:40:44.020 and technological

00:40:45.060 control

00:40:45.780 and technocracy

00:40:46.900 and roughshod

00:40:48.500 over the rights

00:40:49.180 of anyone

00:40:49.600 who just happened

00:40:50.240 to be in the middle.

00:40:52.000 And so in doing this,

00:40:53.980 they brought that same

00:40:55.180 type of system

00:40:56.420 back with them

00:40:57.900 to the West

00:40:58.720 and the United States.

00:40:59.580 The book is

00:40:59.920 Embracing Communist China.

00:41:01.420 Be right back

00:41:02.040 with the authors,

00:41:03.220 Dr. Bradley Fair

00:41:03.880 and Captain Jim Finnell.

00:41:07.740 In long hours,

00:41:08.940 I'm always listening

00:41:09.640 to Human Events

00:41:10.400 with Jack Posobiec.

00:41:11.260 Manini.

00:41:15.700 Manini.

00:41:18.720 Manini.

00:41:19.240 Manini.

00:41:20.600 Manini.

00:41:20.700 Manini.

00:41:21.580 Manini.

00:41:22.660 Manini.

00:41:25.860 Manini.

00:41:32.220 Manini.

00:41:39.240 Manini.

00:41:39.680 Manini.

00:41:39.780 Manini.

00:41:40.380 Manini.

00:41:40.620 Manini.

00:41:40.920 all right back live that was some of the graphic footage that we're getting from inside this

00:41:58.500 concert hall in moscow right now like i said we're going to be continuing to monitor the situation

00:42:03.040 we're hearing that russian uh russian response forces are on their way in to try to get people

00:42:08.160 out try to eliminate whatever threats are currently in there this is clearly a bodoclon style attack

00:42:13.580 like 2015 in paris um to my eyes this is probably the worst russian terror attack that they've

00:42:21.200 experienced since the beslan school massacre all the way back in 2004 uh we're talking with captain

00:42:27.460 jim finnell and dr bryant thayer about the about embracing communist china and how the u.s elites

00:42:33.100 have embraced this new chinese technocratic model and i was wondering if you guys have in in your

00:42:39.860 dealings with you know americans that have conducted business or spent time in the chinese or you know in

00:42:45.360 the chinese sphere the people's republic uh was that was that similar to my experience as well where

00:42:50.400 you you saw people becoming more enamored with this china model and then you've heard people all the

00:42:57.920 way up to uh jamie diamond of jp morgan come out and say that we should seek to emulate the china model

00:43:04.500 here in the west

00:43:05.240 well we have uh encountered that and and uh we've with great regret uh and sadness we've seen

00:43:13.980 individuals business leaders captains of industry uh throughout the west um and politicians former

00:43:21.840 politicians marvel at the ability of the chinese communist party to control uh their population

00:43:28.860 and to promote a quote unquote efficiencies in their economy uh without any recognition of the fact

00:43:36.500 that this is a regime which is murderous tyrannical illegitimate absolutely illegitimate which has

00:43:43.040 oppressed uh the chinese people and a great civilization since it came to power in 1949 those people do not 1.00

00:43:50.600 talk about the muslim genocide in xinjiang and other provinces the crushing of tibet hong kong uh the 0.99

00:43:58.040 violation gross human rights abuses including of religious freedom throughout china and aggression

00:44:04.100 in the south china sea east china sea against india and very likely against uh uh taiwan so it's

00:44:10.820 incredibly odious and uh jim already mentioned the um the san francisco remember uh jack the november uh

00:44:19.080 meeting in san francisco between the 400 business elite and xi jinping uh and the appalling behavior 1.00

00:44:25.640 uh of gavin newsom american business and gavin newsom of of uh u.s politicians and and u.s business elites

00:44:34.040 uh so there does seem to be uh that admiration uh for a disgusting appalling and odious tyrannical regime

00:44:42.280 captain finnell let me ask you this then as we as we get to the last couple of minutes of the interview

00:44:50.120 uh you're someone who studied this uh more closely than anyone for many years and right up close in

00:44:57.160 their aor in that aor do you believe this is something that america has the ability to combat if

00:45:05.240 we're able to turn the ship or is this and and what can we do if so in order to defeat the chinese 1.00

00:45:12.440 communist party well as brad and i say in many of these shows there is we're americans and so we

00:45:19.080 clearly have a way to turn this around and right the ship we go we talk about the what happened in

00:45:25.640 the spirit of 1776 and how this nation was formed and you can go out throughout the history of our nation

00:45:32.600 where we it went through a number of existential threats internally and x mostly externally and

00:45:39.480 we were able to as americans come together and and fight this off fight off uh you know we fought off

00:45:47.000 nazi germany imperial japan we fought the soviet union in the cold war we've we've done this before

00:45:54.120 it's hard it takes hard work it takes discipline it takes people of virtue and it takes people that

00:45:59.960 are willing to get off their couches and get active in their communities it doesn't mean people

00:46:05.960 have to march on the capital what it means is you have to be active in your community and you have

00:46:10.600 to be the light that shines around your sphere of influence to stand up when somebody says your child

00:46:17.320 can have more than two genders or to stand up when you see uh you know things not being followed or

00:46:24.280 where you see uh rules being broken or whatever it is you have a responsibility to not let things

00:46:29.800 go and so that's what we have to do and when it comes to china when we have to elect the right people

00:46:35.640 that are going to take action against china and not go along to make money or because they go along 0.82

00:46:41.560 because they have an ideological predilection uh in favor of communism we have to get rid of those people

00:46:48.280 they have to be voted out and we have to put people in that are going to stand firm and and dig deep

00:46:54.120 and do what our uh forebearers have done throughout the you know last two and a half centuries and

00:46:59.720 and we can do it it's hard but we can do it we just need to make sure that we're uh uh coming together

00:47:07.160 and and being focused in what we do and being consistent and knowing right from wrong

00:47:15.720 it's simple as that dr thayer just two minutes left tell people where they can get the book but also

00:47:20.760 talk a little bit about the economic things that the united states can do in order to to fight back

00:47:27.240 and try to rebalance this relationship well sure jack uh people can uh get the book wherever they buy

00:47:33.480 books uh uh online or or elsewhere or at skyhorse uh publishing uh the publisher of the book um and uh

00:47:43.560 the um what people can do in terms of economic is is to put pressure use uh their dollars obviously to

00:47:50.680 vote uh and to try to minimize um their purchases or eliminate their purchases from uh people's

00:47:58.120 republic of china put pressure on uh using uh obviously elements of civil society put pressure on

00:48:05.800 u.s businesses right not to engage uh with the chinese not to trade with them and look at their 401ks 0.75

00:48:13.720 right to find out whether they're using whether their retirement is being invested in china which too

00:48:19.560 often is is uh the case through the thrift savings plan for many government u.s government and military

00:48:26.120 uh sadly as jack and jim both of you uh fall in that category the thrift savings plan uh is heavily

00:48:33.560 invested uh blackrock uh and uh larry fink right are individuals who are determined uh to use uh american

00:48:42.120 dollars to invest and enrich and sustain the chinese communist party that has to is embracing

00:48:47.880 communist china i'm sorry that's all the time we have guys dr bradley thayer captain jim finnell god

00:48:54.200 bless you both for what you're doing honored to have you on today ladies and gentlemen as always

00:48:58.520 you have my permission to lay a short
