00:00:39.680 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:00:46.360 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.
00:00:49.120 Deliver us from evil.
00:00:50.860 Now a statement from World Central Kitchen that says the IDF has acknowledged its responsibility
00:00:55.640 and its fatal errors in the deadly attack on our convoy in Gaza.
00:00:59.260 It's taking disciplinary action against those in command and committed to other reforms.
00:01:04.100 These are important steps forward.
00:01:05.780 However, it is also clear from the preliminary investigation,
00:01:09.140 the IDF has deployed deadly force without regard to its own protocols,
00:01:13.180 chain of command, and rules of engagement.
00:01:15.620 Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,
00:01:18.260 has lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:01:20.940 Khamenei said that Netanyahu will be slapped for the airstrike on Iran's consular building in Syria.
00:01:28.960 Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency has warned Israel that Iran could launch a major military operation within 48 hours.
00:01:38.120 Nothing's changed about our one-China policy.
00:01:40.400 We don't support independence for Taiwan,
00:01:41.960 but we also don't want to see the status quo changed in a unilateral way, and certainly not by force.
00:01:48.760 Ukraine will become a member of NATO.
00:01:52.120 Our purpose at the summit is to help build a bridge to that membership.
00:01:58.220 We are working breaking news.
00:01:59.840 Preliminary reports show a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in New Jersey was felt in southern New England, including here in Rhode Island.
00:02:05.820 No labels is officially no more.
00:02:09.000 In a statement today, CEO Nancy Jacobson announced that the group would end its efforts to launch a third-party ticket after no candidates emerged.
00:02:17.660 That leaves only one third-party candidate left, RFK Jr., and his campaign has some Democrats, quote,
00:02:25.620 freaked out and ready to mobilize.
00:02:27.460 My own country is treating me like a criminal just because I believe that they stole my rightful president.
00:02:39.180 And just standing up for my country makes me a criminal.
00:02:43.220 And it's just not right.
00:02:44.360 It feels so weird to be here.
00:02:47.460 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily here live in Washington, D.C.
00:02:53.300 Today is April 5th, 2024, Anno Domini.
00:02:57.720 The voice you just heard, the video you just saw, was Rebecca Levescrim.
00:03:04.820 And as we now know, she is referred to as the J6 praying grandma.
00:03:11.820 She was found guilty.
00:03:17.240 Rebecca Laverins found guilty yesterday in D.C. by a D.C. jury.
00:03:25.840 What was she found guilty of?
00:03:27.460 What is she going potentially to prison for a full year for?
00:03:31.240 For walking through the United States Capitol without permission, entering and remaining in a restricted building,
00:03:43.380 disorderly conduct in a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building,
00:03:49.800 and, quote, parading inside a Capitol, walking around in her own Capitol,
00:03:56.120 preying on the steps of our Capitol.
00:03:58.360 Well, she was found guilty.
00:04:03.240 Unanimous decision.
00:04:04.900 Twelve D.C. jurors.
00:04:07.680 And look, I've said for a long time, there's no way that anyone who is Donald Trump,
00:04:13.480 who's associated with Donald Trump or MAGA, can ever get a fair trial in the D.C. district.
00:04:20.500 No one.
00:04:20.860 No one can get a fair trial there.
00:04:21.900 But I want people to understand what we're up against, and I hope, I certainly hope, that this is a watershed moment.
00:04:32.580 Rebecca Laverins is a 71-year-old grandmother and, in fact, a great-grandmother.
00:04:38.060 Elon Musk has now spoken out on this and says it's gone too far.
00:04:44.780 Senator Mike Lee says that she deserves a full presidential pardon.
00:04:48.820 And early this morning, President Trump himself posted her photo and said that she is now one of the J6 hostages.
00:05:00.420 The hostages that have been taken by the Biden regime and thrown into a gulag.
00:05:07.020 You think it won't happen to you?
00:05:10.140 You think it can't happen to your family?
00:05:12.620 Do you think it's all happening because of good intentions?
00:05:16.660 When people like this are being thrown in jail inside our nation's capital,
00:05:24.460 understand what part of the movie you're in.
00:05:30.040 Understand what time it is.
00:05:32.600 It is not the time for whining about mean tweets and mean book titles.
00:05:39.380 It is not the time for whining and gatekeeping and concern trolling.
00:05:44.700 Now is the time to take a stand.
00:05:47.700 And I'm going to tell you something right now.
00:05:49.800 Every Republican lawmaker and conservative pundit who threw people like this under the bus and turned their back on them,
00:05:56.540 you're on my list.
00:05:57.380 You're on my list now, and I'm going to be making sure that you know it.
00:06:05.280 You have less than one year.
00:06:07.660 Dr. Ben Carson, very honored, joins us next.
00:06:10.160 Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events

00:06:34.100 And we're putting them out every single day of the week.
00:06:37.920 But I got a hankering, yearning deep inside, for this book called Unhumans I just can't hide.
00:06:48.740 All right, Jack O'Sullivan here, live Human Events Daily, Washington, D.C.
00:06:57.520 Very honored and excited to introduce our next guest.
00:07:01.400 Needs no introduction, Dr. Ben Carson.
00:07:03.640 We are honored to have him here at Human Events Daily.
00:07:05.580 How are you today, doctor?
00:07:07.020 I'm doing very well.
00:07:08.160 Thank you for having me.
00:07:09.360 Thank you for being a patriot.
00:07:10.540 Amen.
00:07:12.760 Dr. Carson, we've been covering over the last two days the story of the praying grandma,
00:07:19.420 this Rebecca Leverenz.
00:07:21.260 She's from Colorado, Colorado Springs, drove to the Capitol there on January 6th to attend
00:07:27.400 President Trump's rally.
00:07:29.500 She's just been convicted of four crimes in Washington, D.C.
00:07:35.320 The DOJ has thrown the book at her.
00:07:37.960 Sentencing comes up later this year.
00:07:40.540 Help me make some sense of what's going on when people like this are being gone after
00:07:48.200 by our government.
00:07:49.740 Well, first of all, it shows you that it's impossible for a conservative or somebody associated
00:07:55.680 with Trump to get a fair trial in Washington, D.C., and we should all take note of that.
00:08:02.460 But the real problem here is that our Justice Department is being commandeered by a political
00:08:09.560 party to punish its political opponents.
00:08:13.580 And in 1787, when Benjamin Franklin came out of that Constitution Hall after the ruckus
00:08:18.860 meeting, when they put the final touches on our Constitution, he was asked by a woman,
00:08:24.260 sir, what do we have here, a monarchy or a republic?
00:08:26.760 He said, a republic, if you can keep it.
00:08:28.820 We kept it for over 240 years.
00:08:31.680 We're as close to losing it right now as we ever have been.
00:08:35.540 And if, in fact, the left is permitted to continue down this pathway of domination and
00:08:42.680 unfairness in using the Justice Department against American citizens, we will indeed have
00:08:49.060 lost it and we'll never get it back.
00:08:51.160 And I think the American people actually realize that.
00:08:54.340 And that's why you see the poll numbers as they are.
00:08:56.920 They understand what the future for their children and grandchildren will be if we go down this
00:09:02.700 road.
00:09:04.580 And Dr. Carson, I want to ask a follow up on what you just said there, the idea that no
00:09:09.980 one's getting a fair trial, but also that it's about locking up political opponents.
00:09:14.820 So do you believe, because I hear this every day, I'll hear people say, oh, well, you know,
00:09:19.720 the DOJ, they're just trying to do their job and, you know, there's good guys over there.
00:09:24.300 And, you know, this is, you know, she did, you know, break the rules and therefore she
00:09:28.320 should have to, you know, get locked up.
00:09:30.420 And there's, you know, we hear this when they when they indicted President Trump as well.
00:09:33.760 They say no one is above the law.
00:09:35.320 No one is above the law.
00:09:36.480 But does that really bear out when you look across everything that's happening in our country
00:09:40.360 today?
00:09:41.460 No, it doesn't.
00:09:42.200 I mean, you look back to the summer of 2020 when people were rioting and destroying people's
00:09:47.980 livelihoods, murdering and people like our vice president actually established a fund to
00:09:55.900 help get those people legal representation and to make sure that they didn't go to jail.
00:10:02.800 That is definitely a two tiered system.
00:10:05.600 You have a grandmother, 71 years old, doing nothing of violence, walking around in the Capitol
00:10:13.680 for 10 minutes, praying on the Capitol stairs, and she's being sentenced to jail and a hefty
00:10:21.060 financial fund and people who kill and destroy get nothing.
00:10:26.160 No, that is completely antithetical to liberty and justice for all.
00:10:33.340 Look, and we know we know that we've seen time and time again.
00:10:37.100 I was at the Kavanaugh hearings when that went on, when they burst into the United States
00:10:43.140 Senate building.
00:10:44.400 I was I was there covering it at the time when they burst in, chased Jeff Flake, Senator
00:10:48.480 Flake into an elevator at one point.
00:10:50.960 And, you know, they get off with a slap on the wrist.
00:10:52.900 They get off with with a fine.
00:10:54.720 It's a misdemeanor.
00:10:55.700 You know, you pay a couple hundred bucks, whatever it is, and off you go.
00:10:59.840 And and what we see here, because it looks to me is exactly what you're saying, is that
00:11:05.280 we should look at these things and actually view what's happening with our own eyes wide
00:11:11.260 open rather than listening to all this flowery language they use about upholding the law and
00:11:16.220 this and that.
00:11:16.880 You know, they only say that when it comes to conservatives, when it comes to anyone who's
00:11:20.880 associated with Donald Trump, when it comes to people who are patriots, increasingly people
00:11:25.200 who are Christians and pro-lifers, by the way, I might add.
00:11:28.680 And it seems more like and we find this out with all of these hearings from Christopher
00:11:32.880 Ray, our FBI director, that it seems as though there is an enemy's list of the regime, of
00:11:38.700 the administration, and they are systematically working their way through that list.
00:11:43.580 And they will.
00:11:44.880 You know, Donald Trump is correct when he says he's the only thing that's standing between
00:11:50.580 them and tyranny of the people.
00:11:53.000 And unfortunately, if we have an adverse election in November and they remain in power, they will
00:12:03.600 simply continue down this road until we have total tyranny in this country.
00:12:09.020 There's no question about that.
00:12:10.540 I think a lot of people realize that.
00:12:12.980 And the real question will be, will the people utilize the remedy that our founders put in place?
00:12:21.780 That remedy was the vote.
00:12:25.180 And the reason I say that is because so many people don't use their votes effectively.
00:12:30.000 They go into the booth or they take their voting sheet and they look for the name that looks
00:12:34.520 familiar.
00:12:35.720 The name could be Satan.
00:12:36.920 Yo, I know that one.
00:12:37.840 And they check that one off.
00:12:39.140 Often it is.
00:12:40.700 You know, that's not using your vote appropriately.
00:12:44.300 And then when we tolerate officials coming along and saying, yes, you can monitor this polling
00:12:50.240 site, but just do it from way over there where you can't see anything.
00:12:53.300 We don't have to tolerate that.
00:12:54.900 When they say there don't have to be matching signatures, we don't have to tolerate that.
00:13:00.840 When they say a thousand votes can come from the same address, we don't have to tolerate
00:13:04.980 that.
00:13:05.580 But they will do whatever is tolerated.
00:13:07.980 And that's exactly right.
00:13:12.140 And I suppose this is something where there's an issue, I think, with conservatives and it's
00:13:17.320 temperamental in a sense, because we are the people, right?
00:13:20.900 We want to be tolerant.
00:13:22.240 We want to let people in.
00:13:23.240 We want to bring people in.
00:13:24.460 And yet there's an issue that if they use that against us and we sit back and say, well,
00:13:32.360 you know, live and let live, live and let live, live and let live, you know, they're
00:13:35.120 just changing the laws.
00:13:36.140 They're just changing the ways that things are done.
00:13:37.980 They're running roughshod, not just over the election irregularities, which, of course,
00:13:42.080 my friend, my friend, Mike Lindell and yourself and so many others have have told us about.
00:13:46.780 But we look at their judicial system and how many times they're taking away attorney
00:13:52.060 client privilege, they're taking away privileged communications, they're taking away privacy
00:13:56.440 laws on a regular basis, running roughshod over all of these privileges and rights that
00:14:02.720 were given to us by our Constitution.
00:14:04.420 They're throwing them out of the window and saying, oh, well, you know, that person was
00:14:08.020 a Trump supporter and this is a this is a was a bad time for us.
00:14:11.400 So therefore, we should just get rid of all of it.
00:14:13.200 But to your point, Dr. Carson, that those protections are in place to create and establish
00:14:20.540 a republic in the first place.
00:14:22.500 And you have to give them to everyone or you lose it.
00:14:25.340 And it's supposed to be about we, the people, not about we, the government.
00:14:30.620 And our founders worked very hard to try to give us a Constitution that would allow us
00:14:35.460 to maintain our freedoms.
00:14:37.100 But sometimes you have to fight for those freedoms.
00:14:40.660 As Ronald Reagan said, we're never more than one generation away from losing them.
00:14:46.720 And you can't be the land of the free if not the home of the brave.
00:14:49.620 And that's so true.
00:14:53.500 And this is why and early on and all throughout, you've always been a stalwart supporter of
00:14:58.480 President Trump.
00:14:59.620 And and I get it.
00:15:01.260 You know, people will say he's an unconventional politician, but I would argue that we are
00:15:05.500 in unconventional times.
00:15:07.780 We've got a couple of minutes before the break.
00:15:09.400 But do you think that President Trump's platform is the right agenda to get America back on track?
00:15:15.680 Absolutely.
00:15:16.680 I mean, he talks about the things that are important to the people.
00:15:19.560 You know, they're concerned about how much it costs when they go to the grocery store.
00:15:25.440 You know, they come back with a two or three hundred dollar bill for just basic elements.
00:15:31.440 They're concerned about how much it costs to put gas in their tank.
00:15:34.440 They're concerned about the fact that their children cannot buy a home, can't even dream
00:15:39.600 of buying a home because of the interest rates that are going on.
00:15:43.200 They're concerned about the crime in the city, which is just mushrooming and criminals who
00:15:47.940 are not being prosecuted.
00:15:49.360 You know, the list goes on and on, our southern border, completely open, all kinds of people
00:15:55.920 coming in, changing the demographics, changing the number of representatives.
00:16:00.520 All of this is manipulation in order to maintain power.
00:16:05.000 But the power of problem is all of those things have ramifications, negative ramifications for
00:16:11.160 our society and for the concept of freedom in this country.
00:16:14.680 You even have situations where bureaucrats are coming in and saying people are unfit parents
00:16:21.640 because they won't refer to their children by the pronoun that their child has been taught
00:16:28.520 in school by an educational system, which is seeking to usurp the role of parents.
00:16:35.760 The list is almost interminable.
00:16:39.260 And unless we become extremely active and understand what's going on, we're not going
00:16:44.280 to make it.
00:16:47.520 And you see these names, they come across our headlines every day, they come across our
00:16:53.120 screens, they come across our phones, names like Laken Riley, names like Ruby Garcia and
00:16:59.580 names now like the praying grandma, like Rebecca Labyrinth.
00:17:05.520 And I think there's something going on and I hope there's something going on in this country
00:17:10.520 where people are finally waking up and saying enough is enough.
00:17:14.360 I hope so.
00:17:15.360 I mean, it's up to us.
00:17:17.360 And what the left depends on is people being ignorant.
00:17:22.760 People being ignorant.
00:17:24.600 That's what they thrive on.
00:17:26.320 And they always dumb down the population.
00:17:28.600 Before a country becomes communist or socialist, they dumb down the population.
00:17:33.760 You see that happening in our schools now.
00:17:35.600 You see that if you ever look at any of these man on the street interviews when they ask them
00:17:40.000 the simplest of questions, they have no idea what you're talking about.
00:17:44.320 You have to get people in that state before you can take away the wonderful things that
00:17:50.440 we have in this country and take them from a can-do attitude to a what-can-you-do-for-me
00:17:56.400 attitude.
00:17:58.500 I couldn't agree more, Dr. Carson.
00:18:00.540 And in fact, I'm actually working on a book all about that right now.
00:18:04.000 We're speaking with Dr. Ben Carson.
00:18:05.660 He is here with us on Human Events Daily.
00:18:08.280 We'll be right back after a quick break.
00:18:11.240 What happens when a country goes communist?
00:18:13.980 How does a country go communist?
00:18:15.400 Check out the new book, Unhumans.
00:18:17.100 Pre-order a copy here right now.
00:18:20.940 I want to know the truth, what really went down.
00:18:24.120 So I'm jumping on my computer, going to pre-order town.
00:18:29.780 It's in a mystery.
00:18:32.700 The hidden tales of the communist history.
00:18:38.280 I want to know the truth, what really went down.
00:18:41.200 So I'm jumping on my computer, going to pre-order town.
00:18:46.480 Pre-order in life, human.
00:18:48.540 We are here live on Human Events Daily.
00:18:55.780 Very honored to have on Dr. Ben Carson.
00:18:57.860 I mentioned just before the break that, you know, I'm doing the, we're in the pre-sales
00:19:01.960 for the new book, Unhumans, The Secret History of Communist Revolutions.
00:19:05.820 And Dr. Carson, you actually have a book out as well, The Perilous Fight, Overcoming Our
00:19:13.880 Culture's War on the American Family.
00:19:17.500 You're doing this with American Cornerstone.
00:19:20.200 Walk me through or walk the audience through how the book explains this really all is about
00:19:26.500 the undoing of the family.
00:19:27.800 Well, first of all, you know, the title, The Perilous Fight, comes from our Star-Spangled
00:19:34.800 Banner.
00:19:35.260 Our country was born in the crucible of conflict.
00:19:39.660 And we had to fight for our freedom then.
00:19:42.420 And we're in the same situation right now.
00:19:45.120 And our freedoms are being lost.
00:19:47.080 And one of the ways to overcome our country and to bring about Khrushchev's prediction,
00:19:54.400 Khrushchev told Eisenhower over 60 years ago, your grandchildren's children will live
00:19:59.700 under our system and we won't have to fire one shot.
00:20:03.200 Why is that?
00:20:04.500 Because they had a war plan that included destroying the American family.
00:20:11.840 And you've seen how men have been depicted, particularly in sitcoms over the last couple
00:20:17.500 of decades, as buffoon, the women as the superheroes, the educational system usurping the authority
00:20:27.240 of the parents, hyper-sitculization of children, removing from the curriculum civics and things
00:20:36.880 that bring about pride in our system, inserting things that bring about guilt and shame and
00:20:43.700 victimhood.
00:20:44.920 All of these things are attacking the family as it exists.
00:20:49.820 And in the book, we talk about the statistics.
00:20:53.200 What becomes of children who grew up in a traditional two-parent family versus those who grew up in
00:21:02.060 non-traditional families?
00:21:03.100 The difference is quite stark, and it is verified by both conservative and liberal organizations.
00:21:10.360 So there's no question that it actually occurs.
00:21:13.560 And we talk about what are some of the things that we can do to encourage the buildup of families
00:21:20.000 once again.
00:21:20.600 We also have a significant drop in the number of children being born to traditional families.
00:21:27.100 That's hurting us, too.
00:21:28.260 There are a whole host of things that are happening to us as a society.
00:21:33.820 But what is the building block of a society?
00:21:37.240 It is the family, which then creates the community, which then creates the state, which then creates
00:21:43.180 the nation.
00:21:44.080 So if you want to destroy that nation, if you want to fundamentally change that nation, you
00:21:48.800 attack the foundation.
00:21:49.920 And what you said there is so important.
00:21:54.640 I've got two little boys.
00:21:56.260 One's five.
00:21:56.920 One's three.
00:21:58.140 They go to a private Catholic school.
00:22:00.020 But one thing that we see in a lot of the schools out there today is that, and it's so
00:22:06.400 important you pointed this out, that we've gotten so many of these.
00:22:10.300 It's very female-first oriented.
00:22:14.040 It's all about girls.
00:22:14.880 It's all about empowering girls.
00:22:15.960 And that's wonderful.
00:22:17.040 But to your point, there's nothing for young boys that are coming up through the school
00:22:22.980 system now.
00:22:23.880 They're pushed to the backseat.
00:22:24.960 We have program after program to help young girls.
00:22:27.560 And the issue, it sounds like what you're saying, the issue with that is that when you don't
00:22:32.600 have young boys that are also given this way ahead, then they don't mature into young
00:22:40.020 men.
00:22:41.000 And as it turns out, you actually need young men to be those young fathers to create the
00:22:47.340 families as well.
00:22:48.100 Isn't that right?
00:22:49.340 That would be extraordinarily helpful.
00:22:51.400 And, you know, we've got to get rid of the war that's been created on men, and particularly
00:22:59.540 white men in our society.
00:23:01.080 They're like the unsung heroes that helped to create this country.
00:23:07.340 And now they're being demonized.
00:23:09.660 And we have to just stop with all this identity politics and recognize that there's a sense
00:23:15.940 of community that was so important in the development of our country.
00:23:19.140 You know, there were people here from all different countries.
00:23:22.680 Frequently, they spoke different languages.
00:23:24.540 A lot of the communities consisted of 100 families and nobody else around for 50 or 100
00:23:30.060 miles.
00:23:30.640 But not only did they survive, but they thrived because they understood an important concept
00:23:36.000 called the common good.
00:23:38.720 And you see that phrase used very often by the fathers of this country, learning to do the
00:23:44.680 things that work for everybody.
00:23:46.000 If Mr. Johnson fell out of the apple tree at harvest time and broke his leg, everybody
00:23:50.280 else harvested his crop.
00:23:52.100 They didn't ask him what his political affiliation or religion was.
00:23:55.480 They just knew that that was their neighbor and they needed help.
00:23:59.100 And when we can get back to that kind of attitude in America, we'll start making progress again.
00:24:05.100 And it's truly remarkable because, and one of the issues, and we talk about this in my book
00:24:12.000 as well, is that we get so focused on these that we call it equity.
00:24:16.380 We call it DEI.
00:24:17.760 We call it justice.
00:24:19.060 You call it, but these are all actually forms of a different kind of system of government.
00:24:26.540 And it's not the American system of government at all.
00:24:29.280 As a matter of fact, the American system is a system whereby you are granted rights and
00:24:34.060 the opportunity to then use those rights to better yourself, better your family.
00:24:39.140 But in the other system, it's a system where people are categorized into different classes.
00:24:46.020 Now, in the past, this was done economically.
00:24:47.920 But these days, you hear more and more of it pushed along, you know, racial lines, along
00:24:53.540 gender lines, and then they keep coming up with new genders.
00:24:56.200 So you have to come up with new categories.
00:24:58.500 I see the trans flag now has another triangle on it.
00:25:00.900 I didn't realize, I don't even know what the other triangle is for on there yet.
00:25:04.860 I haven't done my research yet on that one.
00:25:08.000 But do you agree with that?
00:25:11.220 Do you agree that these programs are setting up an entirely different system than the one
00:25:15.820 that we're supposed to be using?
00:25:16.840 Absolutely.
00:25:18.500 And these things are used to divide us on the basis of race, age, income, gender, political
00:25:25.820 affiliation, religion, you name it.
00:25:29.060 And the old adage, divide and conquer, is very much at play here.
00:25:34.060 The American people have got to understand that we're being manipulated.
00:25:39.240 We're being played.
00:25:40.940 Because they understand that that is the only way to fundamentally change this nation.
00:25:44.940 But we have to be smarter than they are.
00:25:47.380 And that's really all it comes down to.
00:25:52.760 Dr. Carson, you mentioned the economy before as well.
00:25:56.300 And as we've gone through these case studies of these economic upheavals, and unfortunately,
00:26:02.160 some of these communist socialist situations in the past and these revolutions that have
00:26:06.980 gone on, it's always economic disparity.
00:26:09.880 It's always you crash the economy of a country.
00:26:13.300 And then, as you say, you dumb down the people.
00:26:15.620 And then you say, oh, if you want to get rich, here's how you do it.
00:26:19.020 You have to take it from the people that have the money now.
00:26:22.560 That's how it always starts.
00:26:23.600 We can quibble about this group and that group and Russia, China, Spain, etc.
00:26:28.860 It always comes down to that.
00:26:30.120 It always comes down to that, all the way back, by the way, to the end of the Roman Republic,
00:26:36.300 which, by the way, is the first country that's mentioned by Karl Marx in the communist revolution.
00:26:41.780 And so when we look at the wealth issues today, I would say, go and look at TikTok.
00:26:46.520 I tell people this.
00:26:47.660 People out there are hurting.
00:26:49.040 There are people who are, because of inflation and because of prices being so high,
00:26:52.920 and they can't, you know, they say, I work a shift and now I can't afford a house.
00:26:58.260 I can't afford a department.
00:26:59.400 I can't afford to live by myself.
00:27:01.040 I have to have a roommate.
00:27:02.620 That's not where America was just a few years ago, is it?
00:27:06.320 No, it's not.
00:27:07.140 And, you know, the statistics came out today on the new job creation, 303,000 new jobs.
00:27:15.000 And that's touted as a great thing.
00:27:17.540 But you have to understand who's taking those jobs.
00:27:21.400 Illegals are taking those jobs.
00:27:23.440 A lot of elderly people who had retired are going back into the workforce because they're
00:27:28.020 finding that they can't afford to go to the grocery store or put gas in their car anymore
00:27:33.060 on what they had planned.
00:27:36.380 Those things are hurting us as a nation.
00:27:40.480 And they're destroying the whole concept of the American dream for so many people.
00:27:46.700 And so many people out there.
00:27:48.380 You know, my wife, she calls it airport prices.
00:27:50.940 She said, I say airport prices.
00:27:52.220 What is airport prices?
00:27:53.260 She goes, she goes, well, it costs like everything's when you're shopping at the airport.
00:27:56.660 But then you go to the grocery store, you go to Costco, wherever you're going.
00:27:59.920 It's like because everyone knows the airport prices are so expensive.
00:28:02.400 So you go out to everywhere else.
00:28:05.000 It's airport prices everywhere.
00:28:06.260 That's the situation we're in.
00:28:08.200 And I would argue that there are even Republicans who don't understand how much economic anger
00:28:15.440 there is out there in this country right now.
00:28:18.060 Absolutely.
00:28:18.660 Well, I just hope that that the good guys are able to capitalize on that and educate the people, because it's all about having an intelligent populace, a moral and religious people and a well-educated people.
00:28:35.580 And that makes a difference.
00:28:37.320 And those are the things that led us to the pinnacle of the world in record time.
00:28:41.340 And when people are out there searching, when people are hurting, I do hope and I see glimmers of this.
00:28:48.500 I do see glimmers that there are more people now who are also because when people feel desperate, where do you turn?
00:28:55.860 You turn to the church, you turn to God, people finally starting to open their Bibles up again.
00:29:01.920 And I'm not I don't know if it's if it's if it's widespread as much yet.
00:29:05.200 But I do feel I actually believe, Dr. Carson, that there is an awakening that's going on in America right now.
00:29:11.220 It's it's just starting, but it's real.
00:29:13.300 No question.
00:29:14.600 You know, it's always darkest before the dawn.
00:29:17.180 And sometimes it has to be pretty dark before people can see the light.
00:29:20.780 And I think we've reached that point now.
00:29:23.540 I think they're starting to see the light.
00:29:25.180 I think they're starting to wake up and I do believe it.
00:29:28.460 It will be in time.
00:29:29.600 But we have a struggle on our hands and we cannot rest on our laurels.
00:29:34.920 Amen.
00:29:35.700 Dr. Carson, tell us again about the book.
00:29:38.560 Where can people go to get it and where can people go to get more information about everything you're up to?

00:32:31.040 Bookshop.com is now up
00:32:32.800 And, of course, direct from Sky Horse Publishing
00:32:34.420 Joshua, I'd love to
00:32:37.080 Pick your brain a little bit
00:32:39.640 About this idea that
00:32:40.840 So yesterday, you know, we talked about this
00:32:44.320 And then in between the shows
00:32:45.580 It happened
00:32:46.620 And today we're seeing a response
00:32:48.120 The United States government
00:32:50.880 Is currently sending a praying grandmother
00:32:53.980 To jail
00:32:55.640 Because they didn't like her politics
00:32:59.460 And they didn't like where she was praying
00:33:02.840 Now, if your lens of the world
00:33:08.100 If your lens of the government
00:33:09.220 Is, as you have said
00:33:10.500 The NPR American lens
00:33:13.140 You think the government is fair
00:33:15.900 You think the government is just
00:33:17.580 But you might start scratching your head
00:33:19.480 And saying, hmm
00:33:20.380 This person doesn't seem like a hardened
00:33:22.840 Domestic terrorist
00:33:24.360 Who's about to overthrow democracy
00:33:26.720 But if you have another lens
00:33:29.160 This may have been 100% predicted
00:33:33.260 What's going on?
00:33:35.760 Yes, that's correct
00:33:36.760 Thanks for having me back on, Jack
00:33:38.140 What we talk about in the book
00:33:39.940 Unhumans
00:33:41.000 Is that
00:33:42.140 Normies don't really know what's going on
00:33:45.040 They don't understand the time
00:33:46.260 Or the season
00:33:47.040 And that's okay
00:33:47.800 Because that's something that we can solve
00:33:50.100 With awareness of what is going on
00:33:52.720 The hypothesis we present in the book
00:33:55.140 Is that the United States
00:33:56.200 Is currently undergoing
00:33:57.320 An irregular communist revolution
00:33:59.960 It used to be in the olden days
00:34:02.080 Of classical Marxism
00:34:03.980 It was a socio-economic
00:34:06.220 Bitter, bloody struggle in the streets
00:34:09.520 Between workers rising up
00:34:11.580 Waving red flags
00:34:12.700 And their oppressors
00:34:14.640 A.K.A. their employers
00:34:16.420 And that's how a revolution went
00:34:19.320 And of course there were statues
00:34:21.100 And there were passionate figures
00:34:22.820 Holding up their hands to the sky
00:34:24.460 That's usually how it goes
00:34:25.980 But cultural Marxism
00:34:28.500 Is a bit different
00:34:29.440 What's now done
00:34:30.880 Is groups of people
00:34:33.180 Are identified
00:34:33.860 Via this intersectionality
00:34:35.980 Critical race
00:34:36.880 Critical gender
00:34:37.740 Critical what have you
00:34:39.000 And they're formed
00:34:40.620 Into what Steve Saylor
00:34:41.820 Calls coalitions
00:34:43.100 Of the fringes
00:34:44.780 People that can be rallied up
00:34:46.800 And they can be convinced
00:34:48.400 That they are in fact
00:34:49.380 Oppressed
00:34:50.460 When they are not
00:34:51.520 And then all of the issues
00:34:53.440 They have
00:34:54.060 Can be laid at the feet
00:34:55.220 Of the oppressors
00:34:56.620 Now just as Dr. Ben Carson
00:34:58.320 Was saying
00:34:58.860 The oppressor
00:35:01.340 In cultural Marxism
00:35:03.060 In the United States
00:35:04.720 Is deemed
00:35:05.480 The straight white Christian
00:35:06.760 Male
00:35:07.480 And female
00:35:08.980 To a lesser extent
00:35:09.860 But certainly
00:35:10.420 That individual
00:35:11.280 That's the oppressor
00:35:12.240 And so the lens
00:35:13.680 Through which revolutionaries
00:35:14.880 View everything
00:35:15.540 Their operating frame
00:35:16.620 Of reality
00:35:17.280 Is oppressor
00:35:19.180 Bad
00:35:19.620 Oppressed
00:35:20.260 Good
00:35:21.080 If we have a bunch
00:35:22.680 Of white Christians
00:35:23.560 Who are protesting
00:35:24.920 Something
00:35:25.440 Then they are therefore
00:35:26.940 The oppressors
00:35:27.840 It's white rage
00:35:29.300 It's dark
00:35:31.320 It's an insurrection
00:35:33.120 But in January 2017
00:35:35.980 Upon the inauguration
00:35:38.680 The lawful and peaceful
00:35:39.940 Transfer of power
00:35:40.820 To at that time
00:35:41.880 President Donald J. Trump
00:35:43.420 What did we have?
00:35:45.240 We had
00:35:46.040 Quote unquote
00:35:46.840 Oppressed
00:35:47.940 Doing the exact
00:35:49.480 Same thing
00:35:50.460 In fact
00:35:51.320 There were a number of
00:35:52.820 Mostly peaceful
00:35:54.800 But somewhat fiery
00:35:55.600 Protests
00:35:56.300 Against President Trump
00:35:57.660 Throughout his term
00:35:59.240 In office
00:35:59.820 And there of course
00:36:01.700 Was violence
00:36:02.820 There was injury
00:36:04.800 To law enforcement
00:36:06.440 But did any of those
00:36:08.040 Protestors
00:36:08.920 Who were deemed
00:36:10.080 The oppressed
00:36:11.400 class
00:36:12.360 Did any of them
00:36:13.720 Face consequences
00:36:14.680 Legal or otherwise
00:36:15.680 Absolutely not
00:36:16.800 But that's not fair
00:36:18.280 Say the normies
00:36:19.280 And the conservatives
00:36:20.000 Who don't understand
00:36:20.620 What's happening
00:36:21.160 And their reality
00:36:22.060 Well that's the point
00:36:23.300 Oppressors and oppressed
00:36:24.840 Are held to different standards
00:36:26.140 Anarcho-tyranny
00:36:27.760 Means that
00:36:28.700 The people who are
00:36:29.740 Committing crimes
00:36:30.920 So long as they are
00:36:32.720 In the right
00:36:33.520 Cultural Marxist
00:36:35.080 Class
00:36:35.820 They're
00:36:37.680 Able to be forgiven
00:36:39.040 But those who are
00:36:40.460 Deemed oppressors
00:36:42.000 They get the full
00:36:44.020 Weight of the
00:36:44.800 Tyranny of law
00:36:45.780 And that's where
00:36:46.780 Additional
00:36:48.100 Unnecessary punishments
00:36:50.040 That don't have
00:36:51.380 Legal precedent
00:36:52.040 Are thrown onto them
00:36:53.440 Where the solitary
00:36:54.260 Confinement
00:36:54.960 Another cruel
00:36:55.540 Unusual punishment
00:36:56.580 There's
00:36:57.400 Imprisonment
00:36:58.440 Without bail
00:36:59.140 Without trial
00:36:59.880 And that of course
00:37:00.460 Explains everything
00:37:01.080 That's happened
00:37:01.600 To the January 6
00:37:02.900 Protestors
00:37:04.020 The vast majority
00:37:04.700 Of whom
00:37:05.180 Were non-violent
00:37:06.560 Were peaceful
00:37:07.460 And as we see
00:37:08.800 From video
00:37:09.240 Were let into
00:37:10.140 What they did not
00:37:11.960 Realize were
00:37:12.560 Restricted areas
00:37:13.420 But waved in
00:37:14.860 And stayed peacefully
00:37:15.780 Behind the ropes
00:37:16.600 And staying on the
00:37:17.920 Carpet that was there
00:37:18.760 For them
00:37:19.160 And of course
00:37:20.220 As the communist
00:37:21.460 Revolution goes on
00:37:22.540 Irregular like we
00:37:23.860 Have now or in
00:37:24.660 The past
00:37:25.200 The people have
00:37:27.280 No idea what's
00:37:27.940 Coming for them
00:37:28.840 Now there are a
00:37:29.880 Few people like
00:37:30.480 Michael Cernovich
00:37:31.060 Who pointed out
00:37:31.900 Guys you know
00:37:33.060 What they're doing
00:37:33.480 Right
00:37:33.820 He didn't say it
00:37:35.020 This way
00:37:35.400 But effectively
00:37:36.140 This was a
00:37:36.920 Reverse Bastille
00:37:38.700 Instead of the
00:37:40.460 Mobs coming into
00:37:42.300 The prison
00:37:43.800 During the
00:37:44.460 Proto-communist
00:37:45.180 French revolution
00:37:46.040 And taking
00:37:46.940 Everyone out
00:37:47.540 It was the
00:37:48.260 Reverse
00:37:48.720 Where it was
00:37:50.320 As if the
00:37:50.880 Future prisoners
00:37:51.600 Were brought
00:37:52.160 Into this
00:37:53.400 Official government
00:37:54.180 Building to
00:37:55.280 Be robbed
00:37:56.900 And killed
00:37:57.740 Quite literally
00:37:58.860 As many have
00:38:00.060 Been driven to
00:38:00.620 Suicide
00:38:01.200 And that was
00:38:01.820 By design
00:38:02.460 That was by
00:38:03.320 Design
00:38:03.680 So this is
00:38:04.240 An irregular
00:38:04.620 Communist revolution
00:38:05.580 And we have
00:38:06.380 To understand
00:38:06.960 The time
00:38:07.560 And the season
00:38:08.240 And that
00:38:09.060 Hypocrisy
00:38:10.220 And two
00:38:12.340 Different legal
00:38:13.000 Standards
00:38:13.460 That's part
00:38:14.380 And parcel
00:38:14.840 Of what happens
00:38:15.600 Any far
00:38:16.540 Left
00:38:17.160 And I would
00:38:19.820 Throw out there
00:38:20.420 That what
00:38:20.980 What do we
00:38:21.480 See time and
00:38:22.180 Time again
00:38:22.540 The fact
00:38:22.940 Is a
00:38:23.400 Praying
00:38:24.080 Grandmother
00:38:24.900 So this is
00:38:25.800 An archetype
00:38:26.920 Of now
00:38:28.180 Now she
00:38:28.780 Is a
00:38:29.160 Businesswoman
00:38:29.760 But but
00:38:30.580 An older
00:38:31.340 Woman
00:38:31.720 Praying
00:38:32.720 This is
00:38:33.480 Almost an
00:38:34.040 Archetype
00:38:34.580 That we
00:38:34.900 See throughout
00:38:35.560 A variety
00:38:36.340 And we
00:38:37.000 Go through
00:38:37.300 The chapter
00:38:37.720 And verse
00:38:38.160 In the book
00:38:38.780 From Russia
00:38:40.040 To Spain
00:38:41.780 To France
00:38:43.540 Even all the
00:38:44.120 Way back
00:38:44.360 During the
00:38:44.640 French revolution
00:38:45.360 What does
00:38:45.980 It remind
00:38:46.360 Us of
00:38:46.720 Oh it
00:38:47.020 Reminds
00:38:47.360 Us of
00:38:47.600 Nuns
00:38:48.140 It reminds
00:38:48.860 Us of
00:38:49.180 Nuns
00:38:49.860 And this
00:38:50.720 Archetype
00:38:51.440 Of the
00:38:52.340 Strong women
00:38:53.400 In society
00:38:54.280 Who will
00:38:54.880 Not give
00:38:55.460 Up their
00:38:56.040 Faith
00:38:56.820 We see
00:38:57.660 This of
00:38:57.980 Course in
00:38:58.520 The Russian
00:38:58.980 Revolution
00:38:59.480 With where
00:39:00.180 The clergy
00:39:00.640 Was completely
00:39:01.360 Wiped out
00:39:02.040 We see
00:39:02.720 We see
00:39:02.740 This in
00:39:03.240 China
00:39:03.740 Where
00:39:04.080 Now the
00:39:04.480 Clergy
00:39:04.800 Had already
00:39:05.180 Been somewhat
00:39:05.760 Wiped out
00:39:06.280 During the
00:39:07.420 Boxer revolution
00:39:08.100 And other
00:39:08.600 Situations that
00:39:09.800 Went on at
00:39:10.100 The end of
00:39:10.320 The Qing dynasty
00:39:10.900 But of
00:39:11.960 Course they
00:39:12.340 Were targeted
00:39:12.860 In Spain
00:39:14.460 They were ruthlessly
00:39:16.840 And brutally
00:39:17.780 Slaughtered
00:39:19.060 And in some
00:39:20.360 Cases in Spain
00:39:21.260 You had
00:39:22.000 Communists who
00:39:22.760 Were committing
00:39:23.080 Sexual assault
00:39:23.980 Against nuns
00:39:24.800 Inside churches
00:39:25.660 And even
00:39:26.440 The French
00:39:26.900 Revolution
00:39:27.400 Ended
00:39:28.280 With Robespierre
00:39:29.920 Ordering
00:39:31.000 The execution
00:39:32.360 Of 12
00:39:33.180 Carmelite nuns
00:39:34.320 Because they
00:39:35.060 Refused to
00:39:36.000 Break their
00:39:36.900 Vows to
00:39:38.140 God
00:39:38.660 And so
00:39:39.600 When I see
00:39:40.680 One of these
00:39:41.520 Things going
00:39:42.000 I say
00:39:42.320 Oh
00:39:42.560 They're coming
00:39:44.040 For the
00:39:44.380 Religious
00:39:44.740 Women again
00:39:46.020 Of course
00:39:47.560 Right
00:39:47.900 It is a
00:39:49.360 Playbook
00:39:49.760 And I've been
00:39:50.160 Talking about it
00:39:50.740 So I'm blue in
00:39:51.220 The face
00:39:51.620 About they
00:39:52.940 Will come
00:39:53.360 For religious
00:39:53.920 Women
00:39:54.240 They will do
00:39:54.880 This
00:39:55.180 And now
00:39:55.660 Here it is
00:39:56.400 And all of a
00:39:57.540 Sudden
00:39:57.760 People are
00:39:58.200 Saying oh
00:39:58.660 I can't
00:39:59.020 Believe they're
00:39:59.400 Doing this
00:39:59.860 And I
00:40:00.100 Turn around
00:40:00.800 And I
00:40:01.080 Say what
00:40:01.860 Do you
00:40:02.180 Mean
00:40:02.500 This is
00:40:03.360 What they
00:40:03.760 Do
00:40:04.080 And this
00:40:06.280 Is what
00:40:06.520 They do
00:40:06.820 Every single
00:40:07.680 Time
00:40:08.000 Now it's
00:40:08.340 A little
00:40:08.520 Bit different
00:40:09.000 In this
00:40:09.440 Case
00:40:09.860 Is there
00:40:11.020 Is just
00:40:11.700 Enough
00:40:12.180 Plausible
00:40:12.940 Deniability
00:40:13.780 On the
00:40:14.100 Part of
00:40:14.420 Revolutionaries
00:40:15.720 In this
00:40:16.340 Case
00:40:16.700 And
00:40:17.600 They always
00:40:18.500 They always
00:40:19.100 Add the
00:40:19.620 Little
00:40:19.920 Oh well
00:40:20.520 They refused
00:40:21.120 And they
00:40:21.580 Said this
00:40:22.300 And they
00:40:22.580 Broke this
00:40:23.040 They always
00:40:24.020 Play that
00:40:24.400 Game
00:40:24.600 They always
00:40:24.940 Play that
00:40:25.220 Game
00:40:25.380 We're coming
00:40:25.700 Up on a
00:40:26.060 Quick break
00:40:26.440 Here
00:40:26.640 Sure thing
00:40:28.180 And the
00:40:28.480 Last point
00:40:29.060 To make
00:40:29.520 Real quick
00:40:29.840 Is that
