00:01:18.260 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.

00:01:22.960 The world is in chaos, but never fear.

00:01:26.660 Human events is here.

00:01:27.800 Today's top stories.

00:01:29.820 The Canadian prime minister, Justin Trudeau, is suspending civil liberties.

00:01:35.300 And mark my words, that's what he's doing.

00:01:37.960 Next, a Minnesota bank is moving to close my co-founder, Mike Lindell's bank accounts, he says.

00:01:43.980 Third, Russia, just this morning, says they are pulling back some of their troops from Ukraine's border.

00:01:49.280 And finally, a left-wing activist has been named in the attempted shooting of a Louisville mayoral candidate, Greenberg.

00:01:56.580 All this in our head, Human Events Daily.

00:01:58.140 The federal government has invoked the Emergencies Act to supplement provincial and territorial capacity to address the blockades and occupations.

00:02:21.300 First, we are broadening the scope of Canada's anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules so that they cover crowdfunding platforms and the payment service providers they use.

00:02:35.960 These changes cover all forms of transactions, including digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies.

00:02:44.520 The illegal blockades have highlighted the fact that crowdfunding platforms and some of the payment service providers they use are not fully captured under the Proceeds of Crime and Terrorist Financing Act.

00:03:00.460 So, it's as simple as that.

00:03:02.680 Canada is suspending civil liberties for the purpose of going after the peaceful truckers. 0.53

00:03:10.560 And now, of course, there's going to be some mealy-mouthed statements, right?

00:03:13.280 So, the New York Times had a tweet up saying that Canada was temporarily suspending civil liberties.

00:03:18.100 But then they deleted it and they said, actually, they're not suspending civil liberties.

00:03:20.740 Well, explain this to me, right?

00:03:22.600 So, when Canada's deputy PM comes out and says that they're going to freeze your bank accounts, they're going to suspend your property,

00:03:29.760 they're going to seize your property, your ability to access your money.

00:03:33.580 They're even going to go after crowdfunding, even going to go after crypto, talking about crypto regulations now, all right?

00:03:41.380 How is that not the suspension of civil liberties?

00:03:46.120 And they're going to say, well, you know, we said it's not suspending civil liberties.

00:03:50.520 Don't believe them.

00:03:52.320 The Emergencies Act, that's the name for this law, can only be invoked when a situation, quote,

00:03:56.700 seriously threatens the ability of the government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Canada.

00:04:04.200 And when this situation cannot be effectively dealt with by any other law under Canada, they continue,

00:04:10.020 governments regularly deal with difficult situations and do so using powers granted them by democratically elected representatives.

00:04:16.720 Emergency legislation should not be normalized.

00:04:19.840 It threatens democracy and civil liberties, right?

00:04:23.140 Now, AOC, right, Representative AOC is down here in the U.S. saying the United States may not be a democracy in 10 years.

00:04:31.120 Well, guess what?

00:04:32.400 She's right.

00:04:33.440 Go look at Canada.

00:04:35.580 I know there's going to be people out there saying, but, but, Poso, but, Poso, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:04:39.620 We are a constitutional republic.

00:04:42.200 They can't just take our rights away.

00:04:43.920 Are you paying attention yet?

00:04:48.220 Do you understand what point in the movie you're in?

00:04:50.900 Do you honestly think that the mayors and the governors and the politicians in this country actually care about what the Constitution says?

00:04:59.000 When's the last time that you saw the judiciary branch actually stand for the letter of the law and the words of the U.S. Constitution?

00:05:06.380 They will take your civil liberties away, and they will find whatever way they can to do it, whatever loophole, whatever emergency power, they will do it.

00:05:17.140 Because at the end of the day, this comes down to that.

00:05:21.220 It is about power.

00:05:23.160 If there's one thing that I can teach you, it's this.

00:05:26.260 It's about power.

00:05:27.100 But if there's another thing that I can say as a way to try to find a way to make lemonade out of these lemons, it's as simple as this.

00:05:39.460 Conservative politicians need to take a stand.

00:05:42.360 I say it's time for the United States to hereby offer and grant full asylum and refugee status to all Canadian truckers, to all Canadian farmers, every single one of them out there within the sound of my voice.

00:05:58.180 Come to the United States. 0.97

00:05:59.560 Open borders for you.

00:06:01.140 And now look, look, I understand what people are going to say, but listen to me to this.

00:06:03.920 Hear me out.

00:06:04.460 Hear me out, conservatives.

00:06:06.100 Truckers are a strategic national resource.

00:06:09.460 Farmers are a strategic national resource.

00:06:12.100 And if Canada doesn't want theirs anymore, well, I guarantee you, we here in the United States, with our supply line, supply chain issues that we have, absolutely, we want your truckers, we want your farmers come to the United States.

00:06:27.000 If we're going to allow 80,000 Afghan refugees in, if we're going to have open borders at the southern border for anybody, the millions that want to come across under President Biden's agenda, well, then why can't we have truckers and farmers?

00:06:39.500 We can settle them in states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Vermont, right?

00:06:49.600 Keep them close to home.

00:06:51.280 And they can be the Canadian truckers in exile organization.

00:06:54.840 We will put you to work fixing our supply chains, doing the job that Secretary Pete Buttigieg, you won't hear Secretary Buttigieg and all those McKinsey smarts even consider this idea.

00:07:05.320 Because, again, they don't actually think about solving problems, but that's what we do here.

00:07:09.620 We come up with modern solutions to modern problems.

00:07:12.940 Well, I just got served the papers, they're closing my account at Minnesota Bank and Trust, that's Heartland Financial, Inc.

00:07:25.140 Remember, we brought it up a couple weeks ago, and all of you reached out to the bank president and stuff at Minnesota Bank and Trust, and I hadn't heard from them.

00:07:35.360 Well, the cowards served this paper on Friday afternoon after the close of business day.

00:07:42.840 They didn't even bother to sign it.

00:07:45.500 Now, in segment one today, we talked about how up in Canada, they are now freezing your bank accounts without due process.

00:07:52.820 So no due process, your bank accounts get seized.

00:07:55.600 Obvious suspension of civil liberties.

00:07:58.160 If you don't have due process, then that means you don't have civil liberties.

00:08:01.140 The government just does what they want.

00:08:02.140 They declare you an extremist.

00:08:03.080 They declare you a terrorist.

00:08:03.820 Well, here in the United States, because I know what you're saying, you're saying, that can't happen in the United States.

00:08:08.900 Come on, we have the Constitution, we have the Bill of Rights, we have, you know, all this case law, we have this judiciary system.

00:08:15.540 We will be fine here in the United States.

00:08:18.060 These pieces of paper will stop them.

00:08:21.700 These pieces of paper that are in the National Archive, Nicholas Cage can't steal them, and it will stop all of the communists that are trying to take away our rights.

00:08:32.540 Yes, that will work.

00:08:33.640 And all we need to do is keep pointing at them.

00:08:36.280 If we just keep pointing at these pieces of paper, then that will stop everything that's going on around us, right?

00:08:41.840 Right?

00:08:42.220 How many times, by the way, do you hear conservatives say stuff like that?

00:08:45.760 Or they say, oh, well, we'll just hold a meeting and we'll give a speech about that piece of paper.

00:08:51.220 Or we'll, you know, host a summit and talk about these pieces of paper.

00:08:56.520 Look, look, look.

00:08:58.120 Here in the real world, we understand what point in the movie it is.

00:09:01.600 Mike Lindell, the CEO, the founder of MyPillow, is getting debanked up in Minnesota.

00:09:08.680 So it's the Minnesota Bank and Trust, and they are a subsidiary of Heartland Financial.

00:09:12.960 They are debanking him.

00:09:14.120 They're preemptively debanking him because they're saying, and he's got a recording of the executive talking about this, the FBI is sniffing and looking.

00:09:24.980 But what if somebody came and said, do you know what?

00:09:27.300 We're going to subpoena all of his account records and this and that.

00:09:30.680 And then all of a sudden we make the news, right?

00:09:33.360 And now specifically, this has to do with Lindell Management, Lindell Outreach, Lindell Recovery Network, Lindell TV, the Lindell Foundation, Lindell Publishing, Frank Speech, Mike Lindell Personal, and the MyStore.

00:09:47.040 By the way, the Lindell Recovery Network, I don't know if you guys know what that is.

00:09:51.040 And look, I know we do MyPillow, MyPillow PromoCode Poso, MyPillow SlashPoso, et cetera.

00:09:56.080 Yeah, got it.

00:09:56.720 The recovery network that he has, and Mike's been very clear, by the way, in the past, is talking about he's a guy that came from an addiction background, right?

00:10:05.320 That he struggled with substance abuse.

00:10:08.660 The Lindell Recovery Network has no fees.

00:10:11.740 They don't take insurance.

00:10:14.120 They provide it free of charge to anyone who asks.

00:10:18.140 It's faith-based.

00:10:19.220 It's Christian.

00:10:20.240 Why?

00:10:20.840 Because he wants to pay it forward.

00:10:23.180 He wants to go to people, and he understands the situation.

00:10:25.940 He understands the people that are in the place where he used to be.

00:10:30.700 How can you not like this guy?

00:10:31.960 The same guy, by the way, who stuck with Kyle Rittenhouse as long as he did.

00:10:36.840 The same guy, by the way, I know I've mentioned this online, that he is also, right now, Mike Lindell, raising funds to get pillows and trucks full of pillows up across the border to the truckers up in Ottawa, up north.

00:10:51.980 He's supporting those guys.

00:10:53.280 So when I say go to mypillow.com slash posto, I'm not just saying, you know, go and support our advertisers, right?

00:10:58.920 This is a good guy.

00:10:59.580 This is a win-win.

00:11:00.180 You get a good pillow out of it.

00:11:01.220 You get a product.

00:11:02.100 But you also know that your money is going to support good causes.

00:11:06.840 But what is this system doing to people like that?

00:11:12.940 You say it'll never happen here in the United States.

00:11:15.160 And I'm saying, wake up.

00:11:16.940 It's already happening here in the United States.

00:11:20.200 It started with social media bandings, right?

00:11:22.720 It started with people getting, I remember 2016.

00:11:24.700 I remember in 2016 or prior to that, you never heard of people getting banned on the internet, right?

00:11:32.100 It just wasn't a thing that happened.

00:11:33.720 People got banned were like criminals or people actually discussing openly, you know, crime or hacking or people don't even remember this.

00:11:42.840 Back in like 2014, 2015, you could go on Twitter and there were actual ISIS members, like members, like legit members of ISIS coming on Twitter from Syria or other parts of the Middle East and spreading propaganda or ginning up attacks, inciting things, all sorts of stuff.

00:12:01.080 Recruiting, obviously, right on Twitter, right on Facebook.

00:12:05.180 And it wasn't until after 2016, we all know what happened.

00:12:09.320 When the election did not go the way that the party of Davos wanted, the neoliberal regime of the West that is controlled by the party of Davos has now turned on the censors.

00:12:20.520 And it started with social media and now it's moving into banking.

00:12:24.240 And how much of our banking is kind of a social media now itself when you think about it, right?

00:12:29.220 Because it all goes through the tech giants.

00:12:31.840 It all runs through Silicon Valley.

00:12:33.660 So when I say understand the power nodes of the United States, right, Washington, Wall Street, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, these are the four major power nodes of the United States.

00:12:45.820 And the neoliberal regime understands this.

00:12:48.460 They understand this very, very well.

00:12:50.500 And they come from Davos.

00:12:51.480 They're led by Davos.

00:12:53.220 Prime Minister Trudeau is one of them.

00:12:54.960 Obviously, President Biden is one of them.

00:12:57.860 Clearly, Boris Johnson is one of them.

00:12:59.980 They are taking their marching orders from the same set of music.

00:13:06.640 You are dealing with a regime.

00:13:09.560 And understand that the only way to respond to it is the same way that you respond to a regime.

00:13:15.200 Solidarity.

00:13:15.800 We also exchanged opinions regarding the situation around Russian initiatives and proposals to the United States and NATO regarding giving to Russia long-term legally binding security guarantees.

00:13:32.580 We have also talked about the main requirements and the biggest of which is non-expansion of NATO to the east, non-deployment of the strike weapons next to the Russian borders, and going back, rolling back of the military infrastructure to the status quo of 1997 when the founding act was signed between Russia and NATO.

00:13:58.580 Well, here's a problem, again, for the neoliberal regime controlled by the Davos party.

00:14:06.060 The West, and this is out of AFP, the new headline we're just seeing now, West sees positive signs as Russia says some troops pull back.

00:14:12.700 What?

00:14:13.340 What's going on?

00:14:14.740 I thought we were told the invasion was imminent.

00:14:17.820 I thought we were told that Kiev was about to be bombed, right?

00:14:22.740 Missile strikes on Maidan Square.

00:14:25.560 That's what we were told.

00:14:26.500 Missile strikes on Maidan Square.

00:14:29.620 And that everybody needed to get to the bunkers and people needed to flee.

00:14:33.080 That the U.S. embassy was closing in Kiev.

00:14:35.160 It's going to move all the way west to Lviv.

00:14:38.080 It's going to be separated.

00:14:39.420 We're going to shut down.

00:14:40.280 Everybody needs to flee the country.

00:14:41.880 And yet, hold on.

00:14:42.840 Let's go to AFP again here.

00:14:44.400 Western leaders said Tuesday they were seeing positive signs that Russia was looking to ease tensions over Ukraine.

00:14:51.640 After Moscow announced that it was pulling back some of the troops deployed on its neighbor's borders.

00:14:56.600 And the first announced withdrawal from more withdrawal.

00:14:59.360 Withdrawal.

00:15:00.760 That's the opposite of invade, right?

00:15:02.520 So to invade, you know, I may be a Navy officer, right?

00:15:07.160 But at the same time, I can understand a little bit of this very highly technical and advanced Army jargon.

00:15:15.240 So I believe, I do believe that, in fact, withdrawal is the opposite of invade.

00:15:23.280 Now, if anybody out there in the audience was in the Army or the Marines, you understand ground combat a little better than us, you know, than us squids, right?

00:15:30.760 Because we know water, right?

00:15:31.980 We know blue.

00:15:32.600 We know big blue.

00:15:33.520 But when it comes to this, I'm pretty sure withdrawal is the opposite.

00:15:36.760 I'm just, you know, double checking.

00:15:38.040 Withdrawing from among more than 100,000 troops Russia had amassed on Ukraine's border, the defense ministry in Moscow said that some soldiers and hardware were returning to bases at the end of planned exercises.

00:15:50.640 Western leaders had accused Moscow of positioning the troops in advance of a possible invasion of pro-Western Ukraine, warning that any attack would be met with severe economic consequences.

00:16:00.840 After a meeting on Tuesday that we just played with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin said Russia,

00:16:07.480 Russia, of course, did not want war and was willing to look for diplomatic solutions with the West.

00:16:11.500 We are ready to work together.

00:16:12.660 We are ready to go down the negotiations track.

00:16:15.180 Huh.

00:16:16.320 Huh.

00:16:17.260 Huh.

00:16:18.140 So you understand what's going on here, right?

00:16:20.420 We've told you again and again.

00:16:22.580 I think I was the first person out there to come out and say, and fact check me on this, go date by date if you want to,

00:16:29.480 that said this is a wag the dog strategy from day one all the way back in January.

00:16:36.020 We were talking about this, wag the dog, wag the dog, wag the dog, that they're going to exacerbate tensions with Russia.

00:16:43.140 And then they're going to turn around and say, we saved the world from Russia. 0.98

00:16:48.760 And the same way that we saved the world from COVID.

00:16:51.940 They won't talk about Omicron.

00:16:53.240 They won't talk about natural immunity.

00:16:55.200 They won't talk about the fact that they were the ones that exacerbated the situation to begin with.

00:16:59.840 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:17:01.700 They're going to claim credit for something that was always an illusion.

00:17:07.260 So if this is true, if everything we're seeing is true here, and all this reporting is accurate, by the way, the price of oil is going down, which is huge.

00:17:14.300 That means the markets are saying they don't think it's going to happen.

00:17:17.360 That means they think, and that's your key indicator right there.

00:17:20.440 That's your absolute key indicator.

00:17:21.780 And we've talked about this on Human Events more than anywhere else.

00:17:25.820 What is this all about?

00:17:27.240 What is all of this stuff about?

00:17:28.560 It's about energy politics.

00:17:30.040 It's about pipeline politics.

00:17:32.100 And so when Putin is standing next to Shoals, Olaf Scholz of Germany, what is the main thing connecting them?

00:17:39.660 Nord Stream 2, the pipeline.

00:17:41.800 The pipeline that's keeping all of those German leaders' homes warm this winter.

00:17:47.500 That's coming from Russia.

00:17:49.220 So understand, this is what we're seeing now.

00:17:52.640 It's multilateralism.

00:17:54.120 The great game is back on.

00:17:55.980 Russia and Germany are dealing together.

00:17:59.220 Do either of them want war?

00:18:00.380 It doesn't seem like they do right now.

00:18:02.440 And there certainly seems to be a strong economic relationship, right?

00:18:06.000 A supplier and a consumer, right?

00:18:09.000 A user of a product.

00:18:10.820 So the real question is, will there be any accountability, and of course there won't,

00:18:15.900 for the people who spent months lying to you?

00:18:22.600 Well, this is one of the craziest stories that I've seen in a while, and I'm sure that nobody else is going to be covering it.

00:18:27.980 A local BLM activist and columnist has been arrested in connection with firing a shot directly at a Louisville mayoral candidate.

00:18:38.640 This is out of WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky.

00:18:42.060 On Monday night, Louisville Metro Police announced that Quintez Brown, 21, was arrested and charged with attempted murder after he allegedly fired shots into Craig Greenberg's campaign office on Monday morning.

00:18:55.680 He is also facing four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

00:19:01.280 Police responded to the reports of shots fired Monday morning at the Butchertown Market, where Greenberg's campaign has an office.

00:19:09.220 Greenberg was not hit by a bullet, but a round hit his clothing, according to Louisville Metro Police Chief Erica Shields.

00:19:17.340 According to the arrest citation, Brown fired several gunshots with a 9mm Glock handgun toward Greenberg.

00:19:24.360 Thank God, of course, Craig Greenberg is perfectly safe.

00:19:27.180 Police say they took Brown into custody outside of Butchertown Market.

00:19:31.100 Shields said that his motives remain under investigation, and it appears that he acted alone.

00:19:35.660 I have no clue why this person would want to do something like this.

00:19:40.220 Brown, who is currently running as an independent candidate, he's running himself.

00:19:46.600 I'm sorry, it's very hard to report this story without saying what in God's name is going on here.

00:19:52.440 The defendant, the suspect here, is also running as an independent candidate for Louisville Metro Council.

00:20:00.720 So running for city council, and then shoots, allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, one of the mayoral candidates.

00:20:07.940 Well, the crack research team here at Human Events Daily, using some of our producers from Turning Point,

00:20:14.420 actually went back and did some investigation into Quintez Brown.

00:20:17.600 Who's Quintez Brown?

00:20:18.560 And we pulled up something.

00:20:21.380 Ladies and gentlemen, he's an MSNBC guest.

00:20:25.040 He was on the Joy Ann Reed Show in 2018 at the March for Our Lives, remember that, talking about the need for gun control.

00:20:33.740 Let's go back.

00:20:34.740 You're from the home state of the Senate Majority Leader.

00:20:37.200 What do you want him to know?

00:20:38.560 Well, I want you to know that, you know, we are here and we want common sense gun reform.

00:20:43.800 And if you're not going to give us that, then we're going to get everyone out here to vote, and we're going to vote you out of office.

00:20:49.600 So if you want to keep your job, then, you know, give us what we not, what we want, but what we need, what humans need.

00:20:55.080 We need common sense gun reform.

00:20:56.740 Get rid of assault rifles.

00:20:58.360 Come on, like, protect us.

00:20:59.220 Yeah.

00:20:59.660 When are you guys going to turn 18?

00:21:00.940 I'll turn 18 September 25th.

00:21:02.440 I'm already registered.

00:21:03.040 And you guys are making the connection.

00:21:08.120 You believe that this is about being in the voting booth.

00:21:10.700 Definitely.

00:21:11.780 The same Quintez Brown, by the way, featured on Obama.org as a rising star, Quintez Brown of Louisville, Kentucky.

00:21:20.120 He was obviously interviewed on Joy Reid, March 21st or March 24th, 2018.

00:21:25.700 And has said that, in the past, that he is a member of the Judah Armed Forces, or he supports the Judah Armed Forces with a mission statement.

00:21:35.680 Tez for Liberation is his Twitter account.

00:21:37.880 But this is all the hallmarks of a domestic terrorism case from a guy who was a guest, a guest, a featured guest on Joy Reid, on MSNBC, who was promoted by Barack Obama.

00:21:56.420 He shot four times, we're told.

00:21:59.820 Four times.

00:22:01.320 Hit the candidate's clothing, right?

00:22:04.260 National media, crickets.

00:22:08.920 Absolute crickets on this.

00:22:11.180 Why?

00:22:11.620 Well, he didn't do it on January 6th.

00:22:13.400 If he had done it on January 6th, then we could all be talking about it.

00:22:16.660 But he waited until February.

00:22:18.100 So, of course, not that much of a story.

00:22:22.320 Hold fast, ladies and gentlemen.

00:22:25.360 The agents of the neoliberal regime, the party of Davos, are cracking down.

00:22:31.000 They're cracking down in Canada, suspending civil liberties.

00:22:34.900 The debanking has begun in the United States.

00:22:37.940 The only thing that can fight back are freedom-loving and God-fearing free citizens.

00:22:46.680 And that's you.

00:22:48.060 So share this out.

00:22:49.300 One of your normie friends.

00:22:50.820 Leave us your review.

00:22:52.400 That's your homework.

00:22:53.800 Our motto, of course, be good, be brief, be gone.

00:22:56.840 Today's moment of history, big one.

00:22:58.900 February 15th, 1898.

00:23:01.120 History break.

00:23:01.860 The USS Maine explodes mysteriously in Cuba's Havana Harbor.

00:23:07.700 And this was blamed on Spain.

00:23:09.680 And it started with the inciting incident for the Spanish-American War.

00:23:13.860 But it's never been proven exactly how that explosion took place.

00:23:17.780 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.

00:23:21.560 Thank you.

00:23:21.680 Thank you.

00:23:24.260 Thank you.

00:23:24.280 I'm sorry.

00:23:24.400 Thank you.

00:23:24.440 Thank you.

00:23:24.560 Thank you.

00:23:24.780 Thank you.

00:23:24.960 Thank you.

00:23:26.960 Thank you.

00:23:30.400 Thank you.

00:23:35.540 Thank you.

00:23:48.400 Thank you.

00:23:48.940 Thank you.
