00:01:18.300 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered

00:01:23.900 by Turning Point USA.

00:01:25.100 Today's top stories, CBS caught spreading disinformation, saying that Ukraine is to blame for U.S. inflation.

00:01:32.720 We'll talk about that next up.

00:01:34.100 Rebel News spoke with Candace Serro, one of the protesters who was trampled by the Royal

00:01:39.660 Canadian Mounted Police Mounted Unit.

00:01:41.200 Third, D.C. Mayor Bowser is deploying 800 National Guard troops in response to the U.S. Freedom

00:01:47.580 Convoy as the State of the Union is set to take place next week.

00:01:50.580 And finally, a Chinese news outlet has leaked its own censorship instructions on the Russia-Ukraine

00:01:56.380 coverage.

00:01:57.160 All this and more ahead, Human Events Daily.

00:01:58.480 As we respond, my administration is using every tool at our disposal to protect American businesses

00:02:15.520 and consumers from rising prices at the pump.

00:02:19.060 As I said last week, defending freedom will have cost for us as well and here at home.

00:02:26.420 We need to be honest about that.

00:02:28.480 But as we will do — but as we do this, I'm going to take robust action to make sure

00:02:34.340 the pain of our sanctions is targeted at the Russian economy, not ours.

00:02:39.180 We're closely monitoring energy supplies for any disruption.

00:02:43.860 We're executing a plan in coordination with major oil-producing consumers and producers

00:02:49.320 toward a collective investment to secure stability in global energy supplies.

00:02:54.460 This will be — this will blunt gas prices.

00:02:57.200 I want to limit the pain that the American people are feeling at the gas pump.

00:03:02.060 This is critical to me.

00:03:03.060 Oh, so I see now.

00:03:04.920 We've gone from wag the dog to wag the markets, to wag inflation.

00:03:10.640 It's not his problem.

00:03:12.560 It's not his fault.

00:03:13.260 It's not ESG's.

00:03:14.340 It's not the crazy borrow and spend that we've been doing.

00:03:16.840 It's not the money printing.

00:03:18.000 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:03:19.000 No, and certainly not cutting domestic supply, cutting the Keystone XL pipeline, stopping

00:03:24.300 drilling on federal lands, not allowing us to actually use our own resources in places

00:03:29.400 like Alaska or the fracking in Pennsylvania, the Permian Basin.

00:03:32.960 No, no, no, no, no.

00:03:34.080 This is all Ukraine's fault. 1.00

00:03:36.540 Ukraine is at fault for the rising gas prices. 0.99

00:03:39.300 Ukraine is at fault for the prices that you're seeing at the supermarkets, and they're the 1.00

00:03:43.360 fault for the devaluation of the U.S. dollar.

00:03:46.220 Cut me a break.

00:03:47.680 But not only now are we hearing this from the administration, ABC, CBS, and I'm sure NBC

00:03:53.320 will be right behind, are all falling in line and saying this.

00:03:57.100 And CBS has the headline up.

00:03:58.220 The Ukraine crisis is already hitting Americans' wallets.

00:04:02.300 Gasoline prices could surge even higher.

00:04:05.420 The inflation is going up.

00:04:07.200 The Russia's exports of oil and the sanctions and all of this.

00:04:12.120 This is going to, by the way, yep, Ukraine, the supply chain crisis, also Ukraine.

00:04:17.280 Yep, totally Ukraine.

00:04:19.220 Yep, platinum, nickel, all the diamonds, the chips.

00:04:23.080 You're kidding me, right?

00:04:24.480 Well, congratulations, everyone.

00:04:25.620 A new scapegoat has been unlocked, right?

00:04:28.600 So now they are going to use Ukraine and Russia and Putin and all the rest of this as a scapegoat

00:04:34.920 for their own failed domestic policies.

00:04:38.480 So congratulations.

00:04:39.640 You went to wag the dog in Ukraine, but you ended up poking the bear, and then the bear

00:04:44.600 responded.

00:04:45.860 And now you're trying to use this to blame the—do you actually think the American people 1.00

00:04:50.740 are this stupid? 1.00

00:04:51.380 Do you actually think the American people are so stupid as to not know—we can look at 1.00

00:04:57.260 a graph, okay? 1.00

00:04:58.300 We can see the price of oil went up the moment, the very moment that the U.S. administration

00:05:04.840 under President Biden cut domestic production.

00:05:08.220 It's as simple as that.

00:05:09.620 It was only a couple of years ago that we had something called energy independence.

00:05:14.600 We were exporting LNG from the United States under President Trump.

00:05:19.480 We were exporting this to the world market.

00:05:22.440 We were cutting down the price of gas and the price of a barrel around the world, the

00:05:26.920 price of crude.

00:05:28.160 But of course, that all goes away.

00:05:31.680 Remember, it was only a couple of months ago that President Biden was begging OPEC to

00:05:36.520 increase production.

00:05:37.820 OPEC?

00:05:38.120 Who's in OPEC?

00:05:38.720 Oh, oh, right.

00:05:39.460 Russia.

00:05:40.340 Russia is part of OPEC.

00:05:41.760 So again, like, we keep talking about this, the pipeline politics of all of it, the way

00:05:47.700 that energy production has run it.

00:05:49.340 Oh, and Media Matters, by the way, is coming after me, of course.

00:05:51.620 And Media Matters is coming after me because what did I say yesterday?

00:05:54.140 I was on War Room, and I said, I said that Germany should have not listened to Greta Thunberg,

00:06:01.720 a 16-year-old girl, for their energy policy.

00:06:04.260 They should have pursued nuclear, and they should have pursued their own resources in Russia, 0.97

00:06:08.480 or excuse me, in Germany.

00:06:09.520 And then they wouldn't have relied on fossil fuels from Russia, okay?

00:06:13.160 Simple, right?

00:06:14.100 What does the Media Matters headline says?

00:06:17.240 Posobiec blames Greta Thunberg on Russia invading Ukraine.

00:06:21.240 That's not even remotely close to what I actually said.

00:06:25.580 But again, they don't expect their viewers or their readers to actually go in and listen

00:06:32.380 to the laid-out thought that I said.

00:06:35.700 They're going to expect them to be able to clip, you know, a 10-second little soundbite,

00:06:41.340 the same thing that people did to Joe Rogan recently, and say, oh, well, look, you know,

00:06:45.620 he's blaming this on Greta. 0.99

00:06:46.980 He's crazy. 0.98

00:06:48.020 He's not making any sense. 0.99

00:06:50.020 I think people are checked out of it.

00:06:51.680 I think they're done.

00:06:52.900 I think they see the propaganda for what it is.

00:06:56.080 And understand this.

00:06:57.260 If the situation were hopeless, the propaganda would be unnecessary.

00:07:02.800 I keep saying it from time and time again.

00:07:06.080 You are winning.

00:07:07.500 Our side, the side of freedom, the populists, this movement, the side of truth, is actually winning.

00:07:14.000 That's why they're so scared of the truckers, and that's why they're so scared of you.

00:07:17.120 I got sore ribs.

00:07:21.640 Doesn't look like I'll be driving anytime soon.

00:07:23.640 I'm still alive.

00:07:24.560 I'm still here.

00:07:25.680 Thank you to everyone out there.

00:07:27.240 I'm okay.

00:07:29.040 Bumped and bruised.

00:07:30.560 I'm sore.

00:07:31.340 But I live to stand another day.

00:07:33.860 Ottawa police specify on their page that nobody yesterday have been injured.

00:07:40.460 What do you have to reply to the Ottawa police? 0.99

00:07:43.900 That's bullshit. 0.99

00:07:45.340 Where did that other guy go? 1.00

00:07:46.660 The other guy that really got stompled by the horses, where did he go?

00:07:52.260 I had the sense to get up on my own cord, but where did that guy go?

00:07:57.820 Nobody has found that.

00:07:58.960 Where did that guy go?

00:08:00.200 When we know that Justin Trudeau say that so much good thing about the First Nation,

00:08:04.680 but when we look at what the people live, as you yesterday being treated like that,

00:08:09.340 what is your thought?

00:08:10.260 How can we have trust in a prime minister that doesn't come and speak to the people?

00:08:14.840 So what you just heard there is an interview from the great Rebel News.

00:08:19.420 They've been able to sit down with Candace Cerro. 0.82

00:08:21.760 She goes by Candy.

00:08:23.380 And this is the woman that you saw in those very disturbing videos coming out of Ottawa last week.

00:08:30.060 She is an aboriginal Mohawk. 0.99

00:08:33.220 She resides in Mohawk territory in Hastings County.

00:08:36.660 She was in Ottawa protesting the vaccine mandates when she was trampled.

00:08:41.060 And yes, we are going to use that word trampled because that's what it is.

00:08:44.920 Words mean things and words matter.

00:08:46.400 That's why, by the way, when the fact checkers come in, they fight so hard tooth and nail over every single word you use.

00:08:55.060 Because when they are deployed, they are deployed to do so to uphold a narrative.

00:09:00.620 They are trying to disrupt something that they realize, a truthful narrative, right?

00:09:05.920 Actual facts and information that have gone out that are unapproved.

00:09:10.240 So if it's an unapproved narrative that goes out, they come out to fight it.

00:09:13.140 That's why you saw people trying to go after the fact that she was trampled.

00:09:17.220 I think CTV up in Canada said something.

00:09:20.340 Woman's, I'll never forget this headline. 0.73

00:09:23.460 Woman recovers after collision with horse.

00:09:27.260 Collision with horse.

00:09:28.740 So remember, she's on a mobility scooter.

00:09:30.640 If you haven't seen these videos yet, she's on a mobility scooter.

00:09:34.140 She's standing in the crowd.

00:09:35.620 The horses charge into the crowd.

00:09:37.920 The mounted, not by themselves, obviously, the mounted units, the police officers that are on the horses go into the crowd.

00:09:43.680 And I've been to a lot of protests.

00:09:45.060 I've been to a lot of demonstrations going back.

00:09:46.780 The first one I really remember that had mounted units like that was the Philadelphia RNC all the way back in 2000.

00:09:54.140 So 22 years ago, I was working down the city for a construction firm there.

00:09:59.140 And we were working on this restaurant.

00:10:02.600 And I remember seeing a lot of road closures, a lot of protests, and certainly a lot of mounted units.

00:10:07.700 I never saw, and to this day, I've never seen mounted units, even all the way up to the DNC that was held in Philadelphia in 2016, which I was also at, had massive protests from the green supporters, the burning bros. 0.91

00:10:22.880 There were mounted units, but the mounted units held back, right?

00:10:26.600 They were an intimidation force, and they were meant to try to help stabilize the crowd.

00:10:31.060 They never charged into the crowd like they did here in Ottawa.

00:10:35.640 Yet that's what we saw.

00:10:36.700 And so Candy Sero, she didn't charge at the horse. 0.99

00:10:42.220 She didn't collide with the horse, right?

00:10:44.420 That's not how that worked.

00:10:45.100 She wasn't, you know, revving up her motor scooter and then driving at the horse at top speed, right, three miles an hour.

00:10:51.560 No.

00:10:52.780 She was trampled.

00:10:53.880 And it's very interesting to understand how the mainstream media covers this sort of thing.

00:11:00.880 So you've got a situation here where an actual indigenous woman, right, Native American, we would say in the United States, is attacked by officers, a victim, yes, by the way, of what we would call, I think, Black Lives Matter here in the U.S.

00:11:16.340 We would call that police brutality.

00:11:18.080 And so if the situation were changed, if there were any other issue that they were protesting over, she would be a star.

00:11:26.980 She would be on every TV show.

00:11:29.260 The regime would put her across all of your screens, all your tablets. 0.83

00:11:33.680 Her name would be trending.

00:11:35.540 They'd give her a holiday.

00:11:37.300 They'd be naming streets after her.

00:11:39.840 But instead, they act now as if she doesn't even exist.

00:11:45.300 They want to act as if that didn't even happen.

00:11:49.360 They want to go and turn around and say that Vladimir Putin is an authoritarian and we have to stop him and we can't allow him to do these things in Ukraine.

00:11:59.160 Okay.

00:12:01.000 But are we any better?

00:12:03.680 Right.

00:12:03.800 And this is the issue, that when you go down this road of regime politics that we've been fighting so long against, that we don't want to go down this road.

00:12:13.400 We want to go down the road of freedom and prosperity for our own people here.

00:12:19.680 When America is strong, when Canada is strong, it's safer for our people and it's more prosperous for our people.

00:12:28.320 But instead, we're going after people's bank accounts, their social media accounts, spreading propaganda, censoring people, arresting people, holding people without bail.

00:12:40.760 Vladimir Putin didn't do these things.

00:12:42.520 Vladimir Putin didn't order a mounted unit to charge into a crowd and trample Candy Saro.

00:12:50.000 That was Justin Trudeau.

00:12:52.340 That was done in Ottawa.

00:12:55.020 This wasn't in the Eurasian landmass.

00:12:57.340 This wasn't thousands of miles away.

00:12:59.620 This is right across the Great Lakes.

00:13:01.540 This is right here on the continent where we live.

00:13:06.440 And you saw the Postmillennial had the headline yesterday.

00:13:08.520 65% of Americans in the Democratic Party support what Trudeau is doing.

00:13:16.400 You people better wake up and you better wake up fast.

00:13:22.340 So remember, by the way, folks, how do you fight back in all of this?

00:13:25.660 How do you support patriots?

00:13:27.160 How do you support American workers?

00:13:29.660 Go to MyPillow.com slash POSO.

00:13:31.400 You can go.

00:13:32.180 You know your money is going to a good place.

00:13:34.820 You've seen that Lindell is supporting the truckers.

00:13:37.040 He's supporting the workers.

00:13:38.380 You can go.

00:13:38.880 And by the way, you get yourself a great product as well.

00:13:41.500 MyPillow.com slash POSO.

00:13:43.400 My name is Ted Nugent.

00:13:44.700 I'm the Motor City truck and guitar player.

00:13:46.920 I got my own truck and I'm going to join these truckers.

00:13:49.280 These guys stand up for the best of humanity.

00:13:52.600 It's really quite simple.

00:13:54.200 You hear all this talk about we're divided.

00:13:56.260 There's divisive.

00:13:57.220 Well, of course we are.

00:13:58.140 I'm divided between good against evil and dishonesty and rot and criminal corruption,

00:14:04.600 which describes, you know, Fidel Jr. up there in the snow land.

00:14:08.380 Those are great, great people up there.

00:14:10.540 They live by work ethic and being the best that they can be.

00:14:13.800 And certainly that describes the truckers here in America.

00:14:16.100 I mean, I have campfires every hunting season with the Teamsters and with those truck drivers.

00:14:21.400 I know these guys.

00:14:22.600 I am these guys.

00:14:23.820 I got a big Zebra Ford Bronco with 900 horsepower that gets exactly 600 yards to the gallon.

00:14:29.520 So I'm going to go join those guys.

00:14:31.780 The new headline is this.

00:14:32.840 The American People's Convoy is getting ready to roll.

00:14:35.420 1,000 trucks, we're told, are beginning an 11-day drive from California to D.C.

00:14:40.340 to protest COVID mask and vaccine mandates.

00:14:43.420 We're also hearing now that the D.C. National Guard is going to be called up,

00:14:48.540 that Bowser has put in the request, Mayor Bowser has put in this request,

00:14:52.860 and that this is all hurtling towards the State of the Union on one march next week.

00:14:58.620 President Biden will be giving that from the U.S. Capitol.

00:15:02.180 Now, look, I got to say, folks, this is something where I really need to urge caution.

00:15:10.280 A U.S. convoy is not the same thing as a Canadian convoy.

00:15:16.920 The Canadian convoy was very successful, extremely successful.

00:15:21.600 You had the moral upper hand.

00:15:24.740 They were able to make that stand peacefully and respectfully

00:15:28.620 in multiple locations across the country for about three weeks on end.

00:15:36.280 All right?

00:15:36.680 Here's the difference.

00:15:39.880 A U.S. convoy will be infiltrated immediately.

00:15:44.060 You will get agitators, possibly people with ties to federal agencies coming into this.

00:15:51.600 It is a recipe for all sorts of agitation.

00:15:56.040 And we're not talking about Vladimir Putin's false flags in Ukraine.

00:15:59.920 No, no, no.

00:16:00.500 By the way, I love how it's amazing that the regime will say that anything that happens in Ukraine

00:16:07.440 is a false flag from Vladimir Putin.

00:16:10.280 But if anything happens in the United States, and you suggest that it might be a false flag,

00:16:15.280 even if federal agencies, we find out, are involved, we'll know that's crazy and false flags never happen.

00:16:21.420 Remember when McMaster?

00:16:22.300 McMaster, I played this clip on Twitter when H.R. McMaster was on Joe Rogan, and they asked him about January 6th.

00:16:30.320 And Rogan said, hey, do you think that there were some agitators there?

00:16:33.700 Do you think there were people that may have infiltrated that crowd?

00:16:35.920 And McMaster's immediate response was, the Russians?

00:16:39.040 Was it the Russians? 0.97

00:16:40.760 Right, because this is how most generals in the United States are trained to think, right?

00:16:45.320 Or I should say, trained to not think, they're trained to regurgitate.

00:16:47.980 So they're told one narrative again and again and again, there's no critical thinking there.

00:16:52.820 There's, you're given a set of circumstances, and then you pick and choose one of those which fits what you think is the situation.

00:17:00.860 There's no critical thinking of, you know, why would Russia, you know, do something like that?

00:17:05.740 It doesn't make any sense.

00:17:07.040 It certainly doesn't support any of their goals or aims, but it doesn't matter.

00:17:09.420 Because this is some, this is how he's been trained to react.

00:17:12.860 This is how McMaster's been trained to react.

00:17:15.400 So we've got the people's convoy coming.

00:17:18.300 The National Guard is already deployed in Washington, D.C.

00:17:23.580 They're getting spun up.

00:17:25.040 Here's what I suggest.

00:17:26.480 Because people say, well, Poso, hold on.

00:17:28.260 You know, we want to do something.

00:17:29.280 We don't want to just come down.

00:17:30.860 All right, that's fine.

00:17:31.660 You know what I saw in New York yesterday?

00:17:33.160 In New York yesterday, there was a protest outside the Canadian consulate,

00:17:38.060 and people were driving by honking.

00:17:40.120 Love it.

00:17:41.320 Come to the U.S. Embassy here in the United States, here in Washington, D.C., and start honking there.

00:17:48.640 Go across all the Canadian consulates and just start honking.

00:17:51.440 And wave the Canadian flag and the American flag.

00:17:54.020 Come out and do that.

00:17:54.680 And truckers, you will be far more effective, in terms of any of this, with a nationwide truck out.

00:18:03.280 Call it a park off.

00:18:04.900 It's a strike.

00:18:05.560 Just go on strike.

00:18:06.160 Just park your truck.

00:18:07.300 Just park your truck.

00:18:08.360 And then you post a video to social media saying, I'm parking my truck.

00:18:12.280 And then you say, President Biden, truck off.

00:18:16.620 That's all you got to do.

00:18:17.600 So you use the power of social media to increase your footprint nationwide.

00:18:25.940 We need to work together to safeguard global peace and tranquility.

00:18:30.740 Security of a country should not come at the expense of that of another country.

00:18:35.660 And security of a region cannot be realized by beefing up military blocks.

00:18:41.020 The idea of exclusive security and absolute security must be rejected.

00:18:45.960 We all must guard against and oppose any attempt for a new Cold War and strive for a world of enduring peace.

00:18:54.480 So what you're hearing there is China's foreign minister responding to this crisis in Ukraine.

00:19:00.120 And it's very interesting because what he's saying is, and we saw this also from the Chinese foreign ministry,

00:19:05.900 the CCP put this out this morning.

00:19:07.900 They said Taiwan is not Ukraine.

00:19:10.740 Taiwan is an integral part of China and always has been, period, full stop.

00:19:18.120 So understand, and I laid this out yesterday on War Room, and I can expound on it here.

00:19:23.120 China cannot publicly support what's going on in Ukraine.

00:19:28.460 And they cannot publicly support Vladimir Putin in his support for the separatists of Donbass and Donetsk.

00:19:36.480 Why is that?

00:19:38.060 China, the CCP, they support a policy called territorial integrity.

00:19:42.480 They've always stated this.

00:19:44.080 This is their stated goal for their reasoning that they can hold Tibet, Xinjiang,

00:19:50.420 and then eventually try to reincorporate Taiwan back into the Chinese mainland.

00:19:55.940 Interestingly enough, by the way, Taiwan still, if you remember the podcast we did a couple of weeks ago,

00:20:02.060 talking about the Taiwan situation and explaining it, Taiwan's government, the Republic of China,

00:20:07.060 also considers themselves to hold sovereignty over the rest of mainland China as the rightful government.

00:20:13.080 So they declare if they were the former government, the Republic of China, okay, for the rest of the entire mainland.

00:20:19.100 Now, obviously, that's not the situation.

00:20:20.660 And so the status quo has always been this one of kind of strategic ambiguity.

00:20:24.060 Same deal with the American policy towards the situation.

00:20:27.420 So the one China policy doesn't necessarily mean that you support Beijing or Taiwan.

00:20:33.600 It's very ambiguous, very vague, by purpose, by design.

00:20:36.640 The CCP does not support separatism.

00:20:40.020 Russia, in this instance, Putin, is saying that he supports separatism for Donbass,

00:20:45.360 and he's using NATO's arguments for Kosovo against them back in the 90s, okay?

00:20:51.780 Massive wedge issue.

00:20:53.340 And if American leaders were smart, they would be using this and exploiting this situation to drive a wedge

00:21:01.800 and break up any kind of alliance between the CCP and Moscow.

00:21:07.840 It would be very easy to do this.

00:21:09.860 It would be simple.

00:21:11.020 It wouldn't even take much.

00:21:12.700 You could put out some resolutions and take care of it. 1.00

00:21:15.820 But, of course, they're not going to do that because our leaders are idiots. 1.00

00:21:18.320 And now listen to this. 1.00

00:21:20.020 We just got a leak from Business Insider has the article.

00:21:23.900 An accidental post on Tuesday revealed a Chinese media outlet's instructions on Russia-Ukraine coverage.

00:21:28.720 The post noted that no anti-Russia content should be published and also no pro-Western content, right?

00:21:35.620 So they're trying to keep as much strategic distance as they can on this issue because they are walking a tightrope.

00:21:41.540 They know that they cannot say they support Russia's independence for Donetsk.

00:21:47.780 Because if they were to do so, the very next step would be Taiwan declaring independence.

00:21:53.760 And they would say, well, we are using your standard, the same standard that you set there.

00:21:59.280 Do you get how that works?

00:22:00.840 Now, the same issue, though, is that we have a weak administration.

00:22:05.120 We have a weak foreign policy.

00:22:06.500 Our military has been degraded.

00:22:08.820 And it's not just degradation from an equipment side.

00:22:11.800 It's degradation of a mindset.

00:22:14.920 The Russian military has tanks.

00:22:17.240 We'll wait till they see our diversity training.

00:22:21.880 Well, that's all the time we have here.

00:22:55.340 Had complications after surgery.

00:22:57.040 He was in the hospital for a long time.
