00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:00:05.540 Top stories today, the interesting tale of the general who called China.
00:00:10.840 We'll be talking about General Milley.
00:00:11.980 Second, new information coming out about the CIA teams that first went into Afghanistan
00:00:17.820 now face punishment for refusing COVID-19 vaccinations.
00:00:21.580 Third, 50% of voters out of Rasmussen reports say that people with natural immunity
00:00:28.520 should not be forced to get the vaccine.
00:00:30.540 And finally, a new update on a partnership that I'm doing with Brave Books on an anti-communist book for kids.
00:00:37.680 All this and we're ahead, Human Events Daily.
00:00:50.100 And it is sort of a dramatic telling of some of the final days of the Trump administration
00:00:55.920 with Chairman of Joint Chiefs Staff Milley talking to his Chinese counterpart, not once but twice.
00:01:01.040 Once a few days before the election and then twice, second time, a little bit after the insurrection,
00:01:05.040 trying to tell the Chinese that, look, you know, we've established a report here,
00:01:08.500 you and I, his counterpart, saying nothing's going to happen, we're not going to go to war,
00:01:12.820 and if something were to suddenly occur on our end, I would be sure personally to give you a heads up
00:01:18.020 so we can judge or deal with this together.
00:01:20.060 That revelation there, as a final point, is also being met with swift criticism from other Republicans.
00:01:26.220 Today, here in Washington, Senator Cruz and others suggesting that's almost traitorous behavior
00:01:31.800 from Milley to talk to the Chinese like that.
00:01:34.660 And in fact, Senator Rubio called for Joe Biden to fire him.
00:01:38.120 Yeah, OK.
00:01:38.800 Good luck with that, because he seems to be the greatest patriot
00:01:41.180 that was on duty during the previous administration.
00:01:45.120 You have to love Joanne Reid.
00:01:48.900 Don't we love Joanne Reid, folks?
00:01:50.980 One of the greatest patriots of our time.
00:01:54.980 That's how she views the moves of General Milley to reach out beyond the chain of command,
00:02:02.440 recklessly deciding to take it upon himself to be the leader, right, of the U.S. government,
00:02:10.280 the leader of U.S. diplomacy.
00:02:11.880 No, we don't have a constitution anymore.
00:02:13.720 We don't have a democracy anymore.
00:02:14.660 We have a Milley-ocracy now, apparently, here in the United States. 1.00
00:02:18.320 We have a general-ocracy. 0.94
00:02:19.740 We have a national security state that controls our entire government.
00:02:23.660 We don't have a republic anymore, ladies and gentlemen.
00:02:26.220 And do you honestly think that China is going to turn around and look at the situation any differently?
00:02:33.520 Remember, they know that Milley is the one, apparently now, that all orders go through.
00:02:41.020 Do you think they're going to think any differently when they can see Joe Biden out there?
00:02:44.900 And they can see that this guy clearly doesn't have control of his full mental faculties at any given time?
00:02:50.960 Folks, this is bad.
00:02:51.840 I've had at least one White House official reach out to me and say that there are officers that were in this meeting with Milley that are willing to testify under oath, should they be called.
00:03:02.460 Many people, including Republicans and some senators, Rand Paul specifically, calling not only for the resignation, of course, of General Milley, but also potential military charges under the UCMJ.
00:03:14.040 Second, we've also got reporting now from an IC official that there were U.S. partners, possibly the U.K., possibly Australia, that were tapping the phones of these top Chinese generals.
00:03:28.800 And all of a sudden they hear, what the heck is going on?
00:03:32.660 A U.S. general is telling China that we are going to give our advance warning of any military plans to them.
00:03:41.500 Understand the risk that this just put the world in, that Milley put the world in.
00:03:47.500 What if the Chinese side views that as a veiled threat?
00:03:53.300 They could have viewed it as a situation and then miscalculated and said, are they threatening us?
00:04:00.060 We need to threaten them.
00:04:02.100 Let's target one of their cities. 0.81
00:04:04.220 Let's target one of their population centers.
00:04:06.020 Let's target Okinawa. 0.84
00:04:07.120 Let's target Guam. 0.64
00:04:08.140 Let's target South Korea, Japan, et cetera, et cetera. 0.78
00:04:10.660 We just saw North Korea yesterday launch a ballistic missile into the EC near the Japanese economic exclusion zone, Japanese waters.
00:04:18.760 What if they said, this means the U.S. is giving us a free hand.
00:04:23.480 Let's go take that island of Taiwan. 0.98
00:04:25.560 We don't view it as a country.
00:04:27.080 We view it as a rogue, wayward province.
00:04:29.360 And of course, Xi Jinping, who is now faced with financial crisis on his hands, we talked about it yesterday, is going to look at that as a perfect get out of jail free card for this.
00:04:38.720 Because even though he can say, yes, we might be having our layman moment with Evergrande and we don't want to have to bail them out, and it's looking like that's not going to happen.
00:04:46.940 But then instead, no, rattle the sabers and go say, be the one who can say, I was the chairman that brought back Hong Kong.
00:04:54.300 I was the chairman that brought back Taiwan. 0.98
00:04:57.720 Does Milley even understand the implications of his actions?
00:05:00.920 This is what happens when you have an anti-charismatic bureaucracy in charge of the military.
00:05:07.420 This isn't Patton, right?
00:05:09.140 This isn't Halsey.
00:05:10.400 This isn't Nimitz.
00:05:11.720 This isn't the leaders of our past that knew how to win wars, how to lead men, and how to attain victory.
00:05:18.540 This is someone who knew how to check all the right boxes, who knew how to play the game, who knew how to come up under Obama, under Bush, under all the, you know, the political correctness that's been going on, all the wokeness.
00:05:31.780 Check the right boxes, say the right things, and get to the head of the bureaucracy.
00:05:36.720 Milley is like resistance-pilled over here, thinking that he's in a Hollywood movie.
00:05:42.260 I'm going to call China and save the world, right? 0.62
00:05:44.980 This is the same Milley, by the way, who just last week couldn't get us out of Afghanistan without blowing up an entire family of innocents.
00:05:52.000 Sir, resign.
00:05:53.940 Resign now.
00:05:55.120 Resign immediately.
00:05:56.580 And lawyer up, buddy.
00:05:58.020 That's all I got to say to General Milley.
00:06:00.060 Lawyer up.
00:06:01.300 Stay tuned.
00:06:01.940 H.E. Daily.
00:06:02.460 We'll be right back.
00:06:07.160 So I know that I've mentioned this before, but I really want to give a huge shout out to DailyMail.com.
00:06:13.660 I like that website.
00:06:15.080 It's just, it's great because they're, yeah, they're a British tabloid, but they will hit anybody.
00:06:20.360 They don't care who you are. 0.97
00:06:21.720 If they got the goods, they're coming after you.
00:06:24.220 Left, right, Democrat, Republican, et cetera, whatever.
00:06:27.900 And of course, Wikipedia has them listed as like a red source.
00:06:31.520 You know, they can't possibly use them.
00:06:32.960 So that just means you know they're good.
00:06:35.440 If Wikipedia hates you that much, you know you must be doing something right.
00:06:38.780 If the left-wing, neckbeard, Reddit trolls that populate the Wikipedia editor spaces are mad at you, you must be a good guy.
00:06:46.820 So here's the story, though.
00:06:48.960 And keep in mind, keep in mind.
00:06:50.560 Now, of course, my heart and soul always goes, number one, humanevents.com.
00:06:56.200 But, number two, I'm thinking it might be DailyMail.
00:06:59.700 Here's the exclusive that they have up today.
00:07:02.900 Three members of the first CIA teams to enter Afghanistan after 9-11 fear disciplinary proceedings and possibly even dismissal over their refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccinations.
00:07:19.220 Officers say they have to face a disciplinary action after refusing.
00:07:23.900 DailyMail.com has learned.
00:07:25.040 A contractor says he fears he will never be able to work for the agency again.
00:07:31.140 These members were among the first teams to arrive in Afghanistan after 9-11.
00:07:36.240 They were tasked with hunting down al-Qaeda and working with anti-Taliban resistance fighters.
00:07:40.840 This is insane, ladies and gentlemen.
00:07:43.700 These are some of the people that are the absolute heroes, tip of the spear of the United States, right?
00:07:50.440 And I'm not one of those guys who's like, oh, we have to, you know, always love the intelligence community and love it.
00:07:56.340 No, no, no.
00:07:56.560 I'm talking about these guys specifically, willing to go in, do the job, do the dirty work, get their boots a little bit dusty, and actually go in and do something right.
00:08:08.500 See, one of the biggest problems with Afghanistan wasn't how we conducted ourselves immediately after the 9-11 attacks.
00:08:16.140 No, that was actually really good.
00:08:18.180 It was a special forces, special operator-run mission.
00:08:21.760 You had people that were in the soft community on the military side as well as people led by the CIA.
00:08:26.240 They went in, they busted skulls, they got the job done.
00:08:30.940 Then the U.S. decided to occupy for 20 years and push gender studies programs. 1.00
00:08:35.540 But now, because in the new regime of political correctness in the United States, the new regime of our working regime, it's almost sacramental.
00:08:49.980 It's actually almost sacramental when you think about it, where they're saying that even if you've conducted all of this in your past,
00:08:56.720 even if you are this great of a hero, if you don't follow the sacramental decision, if you don't follow the edicts coming out.
00:09:06.980 By the way, is there any question that these guys need this?
00:09:10.460 What's their medical background?
00:09:11.580 Are they immunocompromised?
00:09:12.800 Have they talked to doctors, et cetera?
00:09:14.380 No.
00:09:14.760 It is a blanket edict.
00:09:15.960 All federal workers, all federal contractors, you will get the vaccine.
00:09:19.940 We do not care about you.
00:09:21.000 We do not care about science.
00:09:21.900 We do not care about your personal health.
00:09:23.380 We do not care about holistic wellness.
00:09:25.240 You will get this no matter what.
00:09:27.540 And by the way, I don't care.
00:09:28.940 Like, I think everybody does have a right to decide yes or no on that.
00:09:33.460 Sure, easy.
00:09:34.480 But what I do have a problem with is when the government comes down and mandates it, and especially when the government comes down and is mandating it on the people like this.
00:09:42.920 Folks, think about it.
00:09:43.940 This is just a small microcosm of what's going on across the private sector and across the military in terms of who we are going to be losing, right?
00:09:54.540 Millie loves to use this word capacity, right? 0.98
00:09:57.780 We're building capacity.
00:09:58.840 We have the capacity.
00:09:59.700 Is it building capacity when some of the greatest heroes that actually are still willing to work for this corrupt government are leaving en masse because of what you're forcing them to do?
00:10:13.940 Navy SEALs, Delta Force, Air Force pilots, submariners, that you've got all sorts of private sector, technical workers, et cetera, et cetera.
00:10:24.160 What are you losing?
00:10:26.080 And what are you gaining in order to do this?
00:10:28.260 We know that Joe Biden pushed this down because of politics.
00:10:31.180 And it's amazing because they are being forced out because of the failure of Biden's Afghanistan policy.
00:10:40.840 So think about this.
00:10:41.780 The liberal, neoliberal Afghanistan policy was that we were going to impose gender studies programs for 20 years and somehow try to turn Afghanistan into Silicon Valley. 0.72
00:10:50.180 It was never going to happen.
00:10:50.880 It was a pipe dream.
00:10:51.460 But in order to get out of that and to help their poll numbers go back up, Joe Biden decided to force a vaccine mandate.
00:11:01.180 And because of that, he is now losing the very people who did the right thing in Afghanistan early on.
00:11:11.680 Do you guys see that?
00:11:13.160 Do you understand how to square that circle?
00:11:15.040 Because it's tough and it's hard.
00:11:16.780 But folks, I know things seem bad now, but I've got news for you.
00:11:22.340 It's going to get worse.
00:11:24.840 We have not yet seen the bottom of this.
00:11:28.540 We're not even close to the bottom of where this is going to go.
00:11:32.220 Because think about it.
00:11:33.540 Once all the best people leave these positions, once they leave these agencies and these institutions, who are you going to be left with?
00:11:41.940 A bunch of millies.
00:11:44.040 Stay tuned.
00:11:44.540 AG Daily.
00:11:44.940 I'll be right back.
00:11:46.780 All right, folks.
00:11:50.420 Now, I promised you that here on Human Events Daily, we are going to live by a certain motto.
00:11:57.500 And that motto is simple.
00:11:58.880 It's the same one that I was taught as a U.S. Navy intelligence officer.
00:12:02.940 Be good.
00:12:03.740 Be brief.
00:12:04.500 Be gone.
00:12:05.620 Right?
00:12:06.100 We are not going to waste your time.
00:12:07.740 High impact analysis.
00:12:09.760 And then you, once you get that, be the influence agent.
00:12:14.440 Share this with everybody.
00:12:16.040 Get them to subscribe.
00:12:17.500 We've been putting up amazing chart numbers.
00:12:20.120 You know, I'm looking at this thing where, you know, we were number seven.
00:12:23.240 Then we're number five.
00:12:24.900 Then I think this morning we were number four in the news for podcasts.
00:12:28.280 So thank you.
00:12:28.860 Just thank you from the bottom of my heart.
00:12:30.540 God bless all of you.
00:12:31.800 We put a lot of work into the show.
00:12:33.380 We put a lot of work into this.
00:12:34.760 We were doing rehearsals for several weeks before we came out here.
00:12:37.440 And I just like to personally say thank you to each and every one of you, even the haters.
00:12:42.960 Because for all you folks at Media Matters, every time you download this, it still counts for our metrics.
00:12:49.320 You know, I don't know.
00:12:50.680 I just say, I appreciate you.
00:12:52.920 Much love to the haters.
00:12:54.260 Right?
00:12:55.120 But one thing that we're going to do is a regular feature here on Rasmussen Reports.
00:13:00.900 They provide us with some exclusive polling.
00:13:04.260 We actually get to look at this here at Human Events Daily a little bit before everybody else gets to see it publicly.
00:13:10.160 And so I wanted to share three polls with you, and I'm going to give you the top lines if you want more interesting or if you're interested in more resources on these, if you want to dig down into the different, you know, check marks and crosstabs and everything else, how different demographic groups broke down, go to Rasmussen Reports, check that out.
00:13:27.540 But here are the top lines that I am going to share with you.
00:13:30.580 Number one, Joe Biden's approval rating dropped yet again by another point.
00:13:36.960 He's now down to 44%, and a little birdie tells me that he's got further to go.
00:13:44.320 So, like I said in the last segment, it's true.
00:13:48.500 There is no bottom.
00:13:49.600 But fortunately, it looks like there's also no bottom for Joe Biden when it comes to that.
00:13:54.680 Folks, people don't like the mandates.
00:13:57.580 People really don't like what happened in Afghanistan.
00:14:00.580 That's what the problem is for Biden.
00:14:02.480 He is flailing about his wag the dog stuff with this drone strike that ended up taking out a family.
00:14:08.500 It's not working, and people aren't buying it.
00:14:11.520 That's there.
00:14:12.320 Number two, January 6th, Rasmussen ran a poll.
00:14:15.680 They said, do you agree, yes or no, with U.S. likely voters, are the January 6th rioters that have been imprisoned, are they political prisoners?
00:14:25.880 49% said yes.
00:14:28.700 That was actually shocking.
00:14:29.940 I did not think that 49% that the number would be that high.
00:14:33.380 But I think there's certain specifics that you could get into if you're asking about a specific, what did this guy do?
00:14:39.360 Well, he assaults a police officer.
00:14:41.100 He did this.
00:14:41.900 You might say, okay, well, all right, that guy.
00:14:44.820 Sure, lock him up.
00:14:45.740 But the broad mass of people, and I was there across the street watching this happen, 99.9% of people were standing around holding little American flags, right?
00:14:56.060 And so to say that everything that happened throughout 2020 was mostly peaceful protests when it was actually the most damaging riots in American history,
00:15:06.920 and then turn around and say that all the people from January 6th have to be locked up, I think people can understand that there's politics at play here.
00:15:15.020 Now, the other piece of this that I really wanted to get into from Rasmussen, very, very, very interesting, natural immunity.
00:15:24.000 Rasmussen ran a poll.
00:15:25.180 Again, likely voters.
00:15:26.080 Do you agree that if someone has natural immunity, that they should be forced to get the vaccination?
00:15:35.140 50% said no, that if someone has natural immunity, like myself, by the way, I had a real COVID.
00:15:42.480 I had like, I'm in bed for a week.
00:15:45.320 I can't get out.
00:15:46.240 I'm eating, you know, like Vietnamese pho and watching TV, like actual fatigue, had to take a nap every afternoon, like my three-year-old COVID, right?
00:15:56.080 I was down for the count.
00:15:57.840 This was not the flu.
00:15:58.880 This was real.
00:15:59.620 Wouldn't do it again.
00:16:00.640 But you know what?
00:16:01.460 No comorbidities.
00:16:02.600 I'm in good health.
00:16:03.600 I work out.
00:16:05.120 I was okay.
00:16:06.900 So I've got natural immunity.
00:16:09.180 Why should I be forced to get a vaccine if I have natural immunity?
00:16:12.860 I don't understand it.
00:16:14.640 I don't think that anyone's made the compelling case.
00:16:17.120 You ask Fauci about this on TV.
00:16:19.160 He seems like he doesn't even know that he's considered it.
00:16:22.100 You've got the Israeli study out there where they're talking about natural immunity.
00:16:25.720 This is a huge, very important topic that we need to discuss.
00:16:30.420 At the same time, we do have the grave concerns of Nicki Minaj and her cousin and her cousin's friend.
00:16:36.600 And my heart, my heart goes out to you, buddy, down there in Trinidad.
00:16:40.520 Much love and God bless.
00:16:42.140 All right.
00:16:43.520 Stay up, segment four.
00:16:44.400 We've got a fun story coming up.
00:16:47.460 Stay care ahead.
00:16:48.320 Human Events Daily.
00:16:53.140 All right, folks.
00:16:53.960 Are you sick? 0.75
00:16:55.120 Are you like me? 1.00
00:16:56.000 Are you a parent?
00:16:56.520 And you're sick of every time you go in to buy a book for your kids and you walk into a Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, whatever it is, and you see all this stuff out.
00:17:06.000 And it's what?
00:17:08.020 Jill and Joe Biden.
00:17:09.620 It's the Obamas.
00:17:10.820 Chelsea Clinton.
00:17:11.640 Like, every but Mina Harris. 0.98
00:17:13.820 Every book that's out, it seems to be this woke, leftist junk that they're trying to push on your kids. 0.93
00:17:20.560 And you think, my gosh, I wish I could do something about this. 0.96
00:17:24.100 I wish there were something that just had conservative, traditional American values that I could give to my kids and that they could actually learn something from rather than be indoctrinated into this crazy way of thinking.
00:17:38.400 Well, have no fear, folks, because I'm here now to show you that, no, this is not a MyPillow promo, but what it is is I've actually partnered with a group out of Texas called Brave Books,
00:17:48.220 and they've put together a book series all about just specifically meeting this need.
00:17:54.080 We've cut an ad for it.
00:17:55.300 My book is all about anti-communism.
00:17:57.980 Folks, check it out.
00:17:59.360 We all remember what it was like when we were kids and someone came along saying, hey, free ice cream.
00:18:05.580 You know, growing up just outside Philadelphia, that could start a stampede of all the kids in the neighborhood rushing to cram together on that one corner all at the same time.
00:18:15.260 But here's the thing.
00:18:16.420 There's always a catch.
00:18:18.220 See, they get everyone's attention with the big headline, hey, free ice cream.
00:18:22.500 But, you know, come to think of it, it always turned into something else.
00:18:27.380 The problem is that's what kids in America are being told again and again.
00:18:31.600 It started in the colleges, but now it's all the way down at the youngest level.
00:18:36.260 They aren't teaching kids to reach their full potential as individuals or as members of the community anymore.
00:18:43.360 Now it's all about teaching conformity, memorizing political talking points,
00:18:47.820 being taught to hate their own country and their own families, and that the only hope is through government solutions.
00:18:54.640 Forget about teaching the values of hard work, competition, pioneer spirit, seeing what's beyond the next horizon.
00:19:01.320 They want division, victim mentality, and their own neo-Marxist agenda to replace America's traditional values.
00:19:09.460 And they're succeeding.
00:19:10.820 Here's the catch.
00:19:12.060 The very people politicizing and dividing our children are the exact ones that profit from that system.
00:19:18.600 They exploit social justice causes to promote social justice warfare.
00:19:23.320 Instead of teaching equal opportunities, they demand equal outcomes.
00:19:28.480 My own wife was born in a place like that.
00:19:30.920 It's called the Soviet Union.
00:19:32.640 And it was all built on lies that crushed millions until it came crumbling down.
00:19:37.440 The truth is, when you're born in America, you have access to opportunities that people around the rest of the world can only dream of.
00:19:44.720 Yet we don't have a perfect system.
00:19:47.140 But when we unleash innovation, competition, and the power of strong communities and strong families working together,
00:19:53.980 we achieve something spectacular.
00:19:56.500 And that's what made America great.
00:19:59.000 Our kids need to know that.
00:20:01.000 That's why I took those ideas and helped turn them into a story that children will understand and hopefully enjoy.
00:20:07.580 And I call it the island of free ice cream.
00:20:10.240 It's time to start teaching our children to be brave enough to stand up against the indoctrination.
00:20:18.980 So what's really great about this is that we're actually working with homeschool networks.
00:20:23.480 We're working with so many different school groups, church groups on this.
00:20:27.400 And it's actually a series, too.
00:20:28.920 So this is book three.
00:20:30.020 Book one was all about gender issues.
00:20:32.820 Book two is all about pro-life.
00:20:34.760 And there's going to be 12 in the whole series.
00:20:36.580 So you can go sign up, bravebooks.us, and you get a subscription.
00:20:40.660 It's 12 books.
00:20:42.060 One will arrive every single month.
00:20:43.920 Great for your kids, for your grandkids.
00:20:46.000 This is something that you're really going to be able to give them, read together, and enjoy.
00:20:51.040 All right, folks.
00:20:51.760 That's all the time we have left for HE Daily.
00:20:54.180 But remember, subscribe, like, share this out, all the platforms.
00:20:58.360 Make sure you get it out, whether you're on Getter or Rumble, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, etc.
00:21:03.580 But before we go, for today's moment in history, I had to give a shout-out to the greatest one to ever do it.
00:21:11.960 Norm Macdonald.
00:21:12.680 We lost him this week.
00:21:14.400 The absolute best and most savage comedian of modern times.
00:21:20.360 But, you know, come to think of it.
00:21:24.320 Note to self, now that Norm Macdonald is out of the picture, who stands to benefit the most?
00:21:31.580 Hillary Clinton and OJ.
00:21:36.640 Folks, that's all the time we have for today.
00:21:38.840 So, from myself to all of you, ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:21:44.780 Thank you.
