00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard. Today's edition, Human Events Daily.
00:00:05.320 Stories today. First, Haitian migrants. Were they coming from Haiti or were they coming from Chile to Del Rio?
00:00:13.080 We'll get into it. Next, new revelations. Hunter Biden asked for $2 million to unfreeze Libya's assets while his father Joe was vice president.
00:00:23.260 Third, the former Planned Parenthood president is now on CNN saying some different things than she was saying last year. We'll get into it about COVID.
00:00:31.900 Finally, military courts could start ordering red flag gun confiscations under the new bill that was just signed.
00:00:40.100 All this in Warhead, Human Events Daily.
00:00:41.640 So we've seen the situation on the border at Del Rio, Texas.
00:00:57.680 The Haitians under the bridge. Thousands and thousands kept in squalid conditions.
00:01:03.960 Are they leaving? Are they staying? Are they going into the United States?
00:01:07.020 What exactly is going on? Senator Josh Hawley talked about this in the Senate, questioning DHS Secretary Mayorkas. Take a listen.
00:01:14.920 Well, tens of thousands of people living in conditions that are startling, startling, brought here because of your policies.
00:01:22.580 Let me give you an example. The Washington Post reported on Sunday that one Haitian woman said that she and her family decided to travel from Chile, where she was residing, to Del Rio because they heard, and I quote,
00:01:32.440 President Biden was letting people in. And of course, you've offered this temporary protected status to Haitians illegally residing in the United States starting in May.
00:01:41.500 Then you halted deportation flights earlier this summer. Don't you think that you bear responsibility for this latest crisis?
00:01:49.140 Now, another report is coming our way out of Todd Benzman for the Center for Immigration Studies.
00:01:55.000 And the headline is this.
00:01:56.200 Thousands of Haitian migrants who flocked to Del Rio were already working and living comfortably as refugees in Chile and only set off for the U.S.
00:02:07.880 after Biden scrapped the Trump-era deportation policy.
00:02:11.940 Well, Chile is the wealthiest country in Latin America, and the Haitians have been living there in modest comfort in Santiago as well as in Sao Paulo for the past five or six years.
00:02:24.300 Then, under the new Biden policy, they traveled up from South America through Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala before landing in a camp across the Mexican border in Tapachula.
00:02:37.220 So let's go, folks, to a map break.
00:02:39.960 Here's Chile, here's Santiago, here's Del Rio, and here's Haiti.
00:02:46.420 Understand how vast of a distance this is.
00:02:51.040 When Biden got in, the word went out, and they decided, we're coming now.
00:02:56.660 That was the decision point.
00:02:58.400 That's according to Todd Benzman.
00:02:59.560 Daily Mail has the article.
00:03:01.380 Joe Biden opened the order, the border, so we decided that we could upgrade our lifestyle, the migrants told them.
00:03:08.080 They then flocked to the entry port at the Del Rio Bridge.
00:03:12.520 So does everybody get what's going on here?
00:03:15.300 We said this from the start.
00:03:16.700 I said this from the start here on Haiti Daily.
00:03:19.380 This is moral hazard.
00:03:22.400 You are setting up the incentives to incentivize people making this trek, right?
00:03:28.340 We still don't have information, and we're going to get it because we're not going to stop investigating this.
00:03:33.640 How exactly it was that they were able to pay for this trip?
00:03:37.100 Were there smugglers involved in this?
00:03:39.740 Were organizations coming down and setting this off?
00:03:43.500 They were not fleeing, right?
00:03:46.080 Understand.
00:03:47.040 They were not fleeing conditions that were poor.
00:03:52.280 They wanted to upgrade their lifestyle.
00:03:56.000 The entire media narrative around this has been false.
00:04:01.040 I want to get a fake news alarm or something or a narrative debunked kind of alarm because that's what's going on here, right?
00:04:09.860 We've now debunked an entire media narrative that was starting to set U.S. policy because apparently reporters on Twitter don't know the difference between a whip and reins for a horse in the Border Patrol.
00:04:22.620 This White House has no idea what they're doing.
00:04:26.860 Jen Psaki and the people running this thing, they are West Wing LARPers.
00:04:31.440 And I mean the TV show.
00:04:32.460 I'm not talking about the actual West Wing, right?
00:04:34.780 They watch TV, and they think that's what they need to do.
00:04:37.940 There's nothing special.
00:04:39.380 There's nothing unique.
00:04:40.360 There's no talent.
00:04:41.580 There's no meritocracy there.
00:04:43.420 It's whoever's the shrillest, the loudest, the angriest.
00:04:47.580 They get to be the ones in charge.
00:04:49.500 And then Joe Biden, folks, you can see him for himself.
00:04:55.140 They have no clue the repercussions and consequences of their actions, both economically and morally.
00:05:03.040 Because you're setting up a situation now where people could get hurt, where people could face infection from the disease that's going around, the pandemic.
00:05:12.440 And you're also letting people into the country that you have no idea who they are.
00:05:17.840 You have no idea what's going on.
00:05:18.920 And we just saw that story yesterday with the Afghan migrants who came in and started sexually abusing children.
00:05:25.820 Understand.
00:05:27.280 Understand the situation, sir.
00:05:30.300 You cannot have open borders and have a country.
00:05:35.040 It's really as simple as that.
00:05:36.680 And I'm sorry, folks, because this is going to be a Hard News Friday.
00:05:39.420 It is Hard News Friday here on H.E. Daily.
00:05:41.400 So stay tuned because I've got a lot more coming up next.
00:05:48.760 Now, we've been talking a lot about Afghanistan lately.
00:05:52.240 It's been in the news.
00:05:53.060 It's being discussed.
00:05:53.820 But really, the larger story of what we're talking about is America's neoconservative, neoliberal foreign policy, which is now starting to be changed.
00:06:01.980 This idea of forever wars, endless wars, where we are going to go around, conduct regime change in countries in the Middle East and Central Asia that don't follow our guidelines, that aren't playing ball with Washington, D.C., and that we are going to go and topple their governments and replace them with something that is more pro-U.S., right?
00:06:20.140 That's the basic idea behind regime change.
00:06:22.900 This was tried in Syria, keep in mind, where they were arming the moderate rebels through Operation Timber Sycamore.
00:06:29.060 This was, of course, tried in Afghanistan for 20 years and failed.
00:06:32.360 So we spent 20 years, we spent all that money to take the Taliban out of power and replace them with the Taliban, right?
00:06:40.100 This was also tried, by the way.
00:06:42.280 Everybody forgets this one.
00:06:44.740 2011, Obama and Hillary invaded and toppled the government of where?
00:06:51.760 Libya, right?
00:06:53.560 That took place during the Arab Spring.
00:06:56.700 Now, the one incident that, of course, everybody does remember from this, but it's interesting how that incident is almost kept in isolation.
00:07:04.760 It's like siloed away from the broader discussion of what actually was going on in the invasion of Libya was the incident of Benghazi.
00:07:11.860 And, of course, everybody remembers Hillary's famous quote.
00:07:15.000 They were doing what they were doing.
00:07:16.140 No, no, no, no.
00:07:16.740 It's still, it's still.
00:07:18.040 Again, again, we were misled that there were supposedly protests and then something sprang out of that, an assault sprang out of that.
00:07:24.460 And that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact.
00:07:28.360 And the American people could have known that within days.
00:07:30.800 And they didn't know that.
00:07:31.840 With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans.
00:07:35.700 I understand.
00:07:36.000 Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans?
00:07:41.260 What difference at this point does it make?
00:07:44.240 It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again.
00:07:50.260 So here's where the connection comes in.
00:07:53.800 Three years after Benghazi.
00:07:56.400 Remember, we've been talking before about Hunter Biden and his business dealings with foreign countries and foreign oligarchs, right?
00:08:04.040 This whole story about Hunter Biden's hard drive, his laptop, which, by the way, I have a copy of.
00:08:09.640 I still have a copy of.
00:08:11.240 I offered it to Jake Tapper.
00:08:13.500 I offered it to the New York Times.
00:08:15.200 I offered it to the Washington Post.
00:08:16.480 I said, come on down here to Washington, D.C.
00:08:20.460 Come to Capitol Hill.
00:08:21.760 I will give you a copy.
00:08:23.340 We can look at it together, buddy.
00:08:25.280 Me and you, side by side, left seat, right seat.
00:08:29.420 Let's take a look.
00:08:30.340 And you tell me whether it's real or not.
00:08:32.540 But the question wasn't always about the story behind the story, the provenance.
00:08:37.620 How did you get the laptop?
00:08:38.640 How did you get the hard drive?
00:08:39.600 That was all explained, right?
00:08:41.280 We know about the store in Delaware and he left it, et cetera, et cetera.
00:08:44.960 The real story was the way that Hunter Biden was working with foreign oligarchs and foreign assets and foreign interests to cash in on his name and to influence his father, both while he was a senator and then later as vice president.
00:09:00.660 Here's the story that just came out, Daily Mail headline.
00:09:03.740 Hunter Biden asked for $2 million plus success fees to help unfreeze Libyan assets, emails reveal.
00:09:12.160 A pair of emails from business associates revealed that he offered to help them unfreeze this with success fees.
00:09:17.280 The email exchanges were between mid-level Democratic donors, Sam Juhari and Sheikh Mohammed al-Rabbani, who in 2015 were working on behalf of the new Libyan government, working to free up to $30 billion in state foreign assets that had been frozen by the Obama administration under the deposed Muammar Gaddafi.
00:09:37.500 And what's interesting is you actually scroll down through the emails, it says, listen to this, listen to this, it's very key.
00:09:44.000 Since Hunter travels with his dad, he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where Muammar Gaddafi and Libya had money frozen.
00:09:55.240 Hunter also has high-level access in China and he can help there.
00:10:00.900 He wants two per year retainer plus plus plus plus success fees.
00:10:06.000 That means $2 million.
00:10:07.500 His negatives, they continue, are that he is an alcoholic drug addict kicked out of the U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money, liquidity problems, and many more headaches.
00:10:17.800 Fact check, it was actually the U.S. Navy, not the U.S. Army.
00:10:22.500 This was the perception of Hunter Biden and the Biden family under the Obama administration.
00:10:29.560 It was pay to play, right?
00:10:32.300 You hire Hunter Biden the same way that we saw that he was hired by this Ukrainian firm, Burisma, and you get access, you get deals, you get leverage.
00:10:45.040 But I want people to understand something.
00:10:47.660 This story isn't about Hunter Biden.
00:10:49.480 I know it's about Hunter Biden, but I'm making a point here.
00:10:51.520 This is about how Washington, D.C. works on the back end.
00:10:56.180 Now, it's not usually this direct, right?
00:10:58.140 It's not usually this direct as someone's son being the one who's getting paid.
00:11:01.880 But that's how this town operates.
00:11:04.840 And if you think that Washington, D.C. is that much better, is that less corrupt, is that less spotless, and is completely impeccable, folks, you've got another thing coming.
00:11:20.260 This town operates off of money, power, influence, and trading favors the same way political operations have been run throughout history.
00:11:32.000 Every regime, once you stop believing in the rule of law, your constitution, your moral code, it delves into this.
00:11:40.040 Stay tuned.
00:11:40.520 More up ahead.
00:11:41.220 Human Events Daily continues.
00:11:46.720 So it's time now for a new segment here on Human Events Daily called Dropping the Receipts.
00:11:54.020 Might change it.
00:11:54.680 I don't know.
00:11:55.240 Tell me what you think.
00:11:56.060 Leave a comment.
00:11:56.600 By the way, if you're following this on Apple Podcasts or YouTube, you're watching the video, or Rumble, of course, we love Rumble, Spotify, etc.
00:12:03.820 Leave us a comment.
00:12:04.920 Leave us a rating.
00:12:06.080 Let us know how we're doing.
00:12:07.540 And make sure to share this out with your normie friends.
00:12:10.280 Because this, folks, nobody else is doing this.
00:12:13.100 Listen to this.
00:12:13.580 All right.
00:12:14.240 So here's Dr. Lina Nguyen.
00:12:16.980 She is a former Planned Parenthood president.
00:12:19.440 Now, CNN has her on all the time as a medical analyst, but they never talk about the fact that she's the former president of Planned Parenthood.
00:12:27.900 Isn't that kind of interesting?
00:12:29.140 Anyway, here she is just yesterday talking about masks on children in schools.
00:12:33.820 Take a listen.
00:12:34.300 I agree that masks are a very powerful layer of protection, but it's one layer.
00:12:40.080 And if we have so many other layers that are present, masking may be one that could go away.
00:12:45.120 But I would say that, let's say a school or a particular class, everybody is vaccinated in that class.
00:12:51.960 And also the level of community transmission is declining.
00:12:55.920 I could imagine that situation being where we remove masks because we have all these other layers.
00:13:00.720 Or if we have rapid testing, imagine if every child and teacher were tested every morning and also they're vaccinated.
00:13:07.580 You could imagine that situation, even if there's high levels of community spread, that maybe you can remove masks at that time.
00:13:13.280 But we are nowhere near that yet.
00:13:15.400 And I think what we really need to do is get the vaccines authorized for children as soon as that's possible.
00:13:20.140 And also really ramp up testing, because that is a powerful tool that we're just not using across the country as we should be.
00:13:27.140 The approval of kids will be a huge step when it happens.
00:13:30.280 Dr. Lina Nguyen, thanks so much.
00:13:31.860 Now, I want to go back because people can see here, right?
00:13:34.540 She's talking about vaccines.
00:13:35.780 She's talking about making it available for children.
00:13:37.940 She wants people to make sure that they have that available for their kids.
00:13:42.040 And she's really sounding like she's talking about wanting to mandate vaccines for children.
00:13:48.020 What we're going to do, though, is drop the receipts.
00:13:50.800 Here's the same person just about a year ago on CNN.
00:13:55.360 Let's bring in top public health expert, Dr. Lina Nguyen.
00:13:59.540 Good to see you, Doc.
00:14:01.640 Good to see you, too, Chris.
00:14:03.120 Is the FDA right?
00:14:04.060 Or can the president say, speed it up, Jack?
00:14:07.200 And he'll say, yes, boss.
00:14:11.220 You know, actually, the president and HHS, they do have authority over the FDA.
00:14:17.020 So it could be done.
00:14:18.480 It would be unprecedented, but it's possible.
00:14:21.600 Then we have to think about the consequence of what would happen.
00:14:24.320 What if the FDA says, we're not ready to give emergency use authorization, but the president says, let's do it anyway.
00:14:29.580 Who is going to take this vaccine?
00:14:32.700 You know, I'm in the group that would be eligible to get this under the emergency use authorization as a frontline provider.
00:14:38.880 But I don't know other doctors and nurses who would say, sure, the FDA said no, the president said yes, but I'm going to stick on my arm and get this vaccine.
00:14:46.280 And I'm certainly not going to be recommending the vaccine to my patients unless it's gone through the rigorous process of process of approval for safety and efficacy.
00:14:56.860 Speed should not be the driving factor here and certainly not political expediency.
00:15:01.720 It is so amazing to me that the trust the science community seems to completely change.
00:15:08.620 I guess the science changes depending on who the president in office is, isn't it?
00:15:13.740 The science isn't the same.
00:15:15.220 I thought the science was settled, right?
00:15:16.740 No, the science changes because you are not somebody who only cares about public health and public policy.
00:15:24.120 If you did, you would be using persuasion.
00:15:26.020 You'd be using discussion.
00:15:26.900 You'd be talking with facts.
00:15:28.300 Instead, you are playing politics.
00:15:30.940 And you see this again and again.
00:15:32.520 We covered Dr. Roy and MSNBC earlier this week.
00:15:36.020 It was the same situation.
00:15:37.800 You go and look at something they said today versus something they said in the past.
00:15:41.440 And depending on who's president, right, you can see whether or not they're spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt, or FUD, or FUD, as they call it in the crypto slash AMC community, Apes Together Strong.
00:15:54.820 Understand, right, understand what you are seeing them doing on TV is influencing you or, in this case, influencing their followers, their listeners.
00:16:09.340 This isn't about public health.
00:16:12.260 Don't get me wrong.
00:16:12.820 I'm not saying she doesn't want people to be healthy.
00:16:14.740 But I am also saying that the driving factor here is control.
00:16:19.680 It's about power.
00:16:20.800 And it's about politics.
00:16:24.480 And that's something that we need to get around if we're ever going to end this pandemic.
00:16:30.820 Stay tuned.
00:16:31.240 Last segment coming up.
00:16:36.600 Red flag laws.
00:16:39.100 They suck.
00:16:40.000 I don't like them.
00:16:41.340 I'm against red flag laws for a number of reasons, specifically talking about the Fourth Amendment, the Fifth Amendment.
00:16:47.740 There's no due process here.
00:16:49.400 This, you know, talking about legal search and seizure.
00:16:52.540 There's a lot of problems involved with this.
00:16:54.720 However, I do also understand the need for the government or the need for public safety to be able to step in at these times, right?
00:17:02.640 So understand, we also have something called the 5150 process.
00:17:06.840 We also have the ability to put someone on any mental health hold.
00:17:10.060 But understand the headline.
00:17:11.340 Understand where we're going.
00:17:12.420 Understand how this is going to be spread.
00:17:15.480 AmericanMilitaryNews.com.
00:17:16.360 Military courts could order red flag gun confiscation under defense bill.
00:17:23.000 Listen to Joe Biden talking about red flag laws.
00:17:25.460 Listen to the statement he made.
00:17:26.820 During my campaign for president, I wanted to make it easier for states to adopt extreme risk protection order laws.
00:17:34.280 They're also called red flag laws, which everybody in this law knows, but many people listening do not know.
00:17:41.440 These laws allow a police or family member to petition a court in their jurisdiction and say,
00:17:49.960 I want you to temporarily remove from the following people any firearm they may possess because they're a danger and a crisis.
00:17:58.960 They're presenting a danger to themselves and to others.
00:18:01.880 And the court makes a ruling to put this in perspective, more than half of all suicides, for example, involve the use of a firearm.
00:18:11.900 But when a gun's not available, an attempt at suicide, the death rate drops precipitously.
00:18:20.460 States that have red flag laws have seen and seen the reduction in the number of suicides in their states.
00:18:28.360 So a new provision in the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, that's the Pentagon's budget, was just passed,
00:18:35.440 would allow military courts to issue protective orders that include red flag gun confiscation, according to the more than 1,300 page bill.
00:18:44.160 In the legislation, those beholden to the UCMJ, the United States Code of Military Justice,
00:18:49.300 so that's if you're in the military, if you're a tiree, you're still drawing a pension from the military, right?
00:18:53.760 If you're under UCMJ, this does not apply to U.S. civilians.
00:18:57.020 They could issue a military court protective order by a judge or magistrate,
00:19:02.460 which would make possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm illegal.
00:19:07.360 A military court protective order issued on an ex parte basis shall restrain a person from possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing a firearm.
00:19:16.940 And a military court protective order issued after the person be subject to the order has received notice and opportunity to be heard on the order
00:19:24.840 shall restrain such person from possessing, receiving, or otherwise accessing firearms.
00:19:32.000 So understand.
00:19:33.480 Understand that when you give power like this to the government, the government is going to abuse it.
00:19:38.740 That's the situation that we've seen throughout history.
00:19:41.840 That's the situation that we can use to look as a guide going forward.
00:19:45.780 There already exist on the books things like mental health hold, protective orders,
00:19:50.300 if you need protection from abuse, a restraining order.
00:19:52.560 It's usually temporary, and that does generally include a gun confiscation for a temporary set of time, right?
00:19:58.720 But if you're in a situation where you don't believe you're going to meet those metrics,
00:20:04.600 then why wouldn't you be using them?
00:20:06.260 What are you doing then?
00:20:07.460 It's going to be abused by people.
00:20:08.900 Like I say, this is when I was in the military.
00:20:10.280 This is going to be abused by people who are vindictive.
00:20:12.500 It's going to be abused by work centers, by chains of command, by subordinates, by authority.
00:20:17.940 It's completely going to be abused.
00:20:19.520 I'm just telling you that.
00:20:20.260 So if you are someone who believes in the Second Amendment, if you believe in the right to self-defense
00:20:26.960 and the right to keep and bear arms being necessary for a free republic,
00:20:32.880 this situation is something that flies completely in the face of that.
00:20:38.500 This sets up a situation where an unelected court can simply walk over and on a very thin basis
00:20:47.460 confiscate guns, confiscate your ability to defend yourself.
00:20:52.280 But understand, that's the position of this administration, and that's the position of this Congress.
00:20:58.220 And that's it.
00:20:59.280 That is all the time we have today on Human Events Daily, where you get the bluff, the bottom line up front.
00:21:06.960 Our motto to you, our promise to you, be good, be brief, be gone.
00:21:11.860 But before we go, and I will ask you to share this with everybody, share it with your normie friends,
00:21:16.880 share it with your family, get it out there.
00:21:19.480 Make sure that everybody keeps listening to this.
00:21:21.760 Also, I'm going to say thank you for keeping us in the number one position on Apple Podcasts for Politics.
00:21:28.040 Before we go, today's moment in history, the Battle of Shuriyama, September 24th, 1877,
00:21:34.480 the last stand of the 500 samurai atop Mount Shuriyama in Japan against the Imperial Japanese Army.
00:21:44.220 This was the last stand of the traditional samurai culture, and true to the Bushido Code,
00:21:50.200 they fought to the last man.
00:21:52.180 Incredible.
00:21:53.620 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
