00:00:45.420 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:00:48.480 Christ is king!
00:00:50.220 Fallout and frustration tonight after the release of millions of pages of Epstein documents
00:00:55.280 showing the late convicted sex offenders' ties to the rich and powerful,
00:00:58.960 like former Prince Andrew, seen in these photos kneeling over an unidentified woman.
00:01:04.360 Just days before Congress was set to potentially hold them in contempt,
00:01:07.980 former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
00:01:11.440 have agreed to give depositions as part of a House committee's investigation into sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
00:01:17.220 For months, the Clintons held their ground against Republican Chairman James Comer's subpoenas,
00:01:21.440 dismissing his demands for in-person depositions as legally toothless and invalid
00:01:25.980 and slamming the investigation as a political hit job.
00:01:29.300 But after some Democrats said they would join Republicans in recommending contempt charges,
00:01:33.680 the Clintons have now agreed to testify.
00:01:35.840 Kristi Noem announcing that body cams will be worn by all ICE and Border Patrol agents
00:01:42.780 effective immediately.
00:01:44.560 President Trump there also mentioning that here in the Oval Office.
00:01:48.320 This is the post on social media from Kristi Noem saying,
00:01:51.180 I just spoke with Border Czar Tom Holman, the ICE director,
00:01:53.940 the Border Patrol Commissioner, and effective immediately, we are deploying body cameras to
00:01:58.540 every officer in the field in Minneapolis. As funding is available, the body camera program
00:02:03.860 will be expanded nationwide. Now, the high-stakes hearing ahead in the case against Charlie Kirk's
00:02:08.720 accused assassin, Tyler Robinson's defense team, fighting to keep key evidence sealed and arguing
00:02:14.160 intense media coverage is tainting the jury pool. Now, that video of Charlie Kirk's assassination
00:02:20.180 is horrific. Well, now Tyler Robertson's attorneys say it should not be shown in
00:02:25.360 court. This morning, President Trump is calling on Republicans to nationalize
00:02:29.540 elections. The Republicans should say we want to take over. We should take over
00:02:33.900 the voting, the voting in at least many 15 places. The Republicans ought to
00:02:40.620 nationalize the voting. Turning Point USA has revealed the lineup for its all
00:02:46.240 American halftime show. The conservative group says it's hosting the event as an alternative
00:02:51.280 to the official Super Bowl halftime show. The announcement follows controversy over
00:02:55.800 the NFL's choice of bad money as this year's headliner. Kid Rock is set to headline with
00:03:02.280 country artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Bryce, and Gabby Barretts.
00:03:09.320 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily. Today is February
00:03:13.860 February 3rd, 2026, Anno, Domini.
00:03:18.040 And gosh, what can I say, guys?
00:03:20.020 It looks like, once again, Turning Point USA is driving so much in the news cycle,
00:03:25.380 whether it be our incredible halftime show that is lined up for this weekend.
00:03:30.320 Let me tell you something right now.
00:03:31.500 If you had told me a couple of months ago that when I started going rogue
00:03:35.900 and just tweeting about this halftime show, that we would be sitting here lined up
00:03:40.720 looking at a show that is going to have some of the best artists, the greatest players on the
00:03:48.120 planet. We're talking about people like Kid Rock, who let's just say right now, Kid Rock should
00:03:53.720 have been headlining halftime shows for years. Kid Rock is someone absolutely that America wants to
00:04:01.740 see at a halftime show. You all know that I'm telling the truth about this. You all know that
00:04:07.880 I'm right. Take the politics and all the rest out of it. It has nothing to do with that. This is a
00:04:12.620 guy who sells them out coast to coast. Then you've got great up and comers. Gabby Barrett, for example,
00:04:20.520 who's from Pennsylvania, just like myself, the other end of Pennsylvania, but that's okay.
00:04:24.940 I'm really excited that she's going to be there. And, you know, having got to, can't reveal too
00:04:31.360 much, but having got to, you know, interact with the team a little bit there, it's just been
00:04:35.840 amazing seeing it all come together. So I never would have believed this caliber of performers
00:04:40.220 would be there, would be working with Turning Point USA. And it's, it's, it's really just a
00:04:44.980 blessing. That's all I have to say. It's a blessing and it's all for Charlie. This is something
00:04:48.940 that's absolutely was Charlie's idea. Originally, this is something that he and I used to chat
00:04:54.080 about. We would joke about it and I would be like, Hey, let's, you know, do a, what if we did our own
00:04:58.440 show? Cause Charlie would always be railing about the halftime shows. And, uh, here we are, here we
00:05:04.160 are finally getting it done. It's going to be great. We've got a great theater lined up for
00:05:09.520 this. So you have to imagine it like a Grammys performance, like an Oscars performance, one of
00:05:15.500 those big, totally filled, packed to the gills theaters where everybody's cheering. They come in
00:05:23.000 and that way it gives us the ability to have the cameras flying in from all over the place. You get
00:05:28.120 all sorts of angles. It's just going to be amazing. And the whole thing is this is a celebration of
00:05:33.200 America. Whereas the other guy, Bad Bunny, he's America last. So let's, let's talk about the
00:05:40.760 differences. All right. Ours pro America. It's going to be in English, you know, the language
00:05:46.500 of America, whereas Bad Bunny is going to be in a foreign language. And I just went and saw his
00:05:53.420 little speech or whatever you call that thing at the Grammys. The guy speaks in broken English.
00:05:59.020 And this is one of the, so the New York times ran the story and it's going viral on X and they're
00:06:03.640 saying, Oh, you know, some anonymous NFL players said that bad bunny, isn't an American. And of
00:06:09.760 course people are saying, Oh, technically, yeah, we get this, but there's something deeper here.
00:06:14.640 And we're going to explore that a little bit on the show today. The question of what is an American.
00:06:20.440 And of course, this is a question that I've been asking going all the way back to SAS of 2024.
00:06:26.560 four. There is a serious question there. There's a difference between being an American and just
00:06:31.680 being an American on paper, right? Does a piece of paper make you an American? It doesn't. We all
00:06:37.240 know that it doesn't. And you know who you can ask to find that out? Bad Bunny himself, because
00:06:42.720 he'll tell you that he's a Puerto Rican. He flies the Puerto Rican flag. He's someone who sings 0.98
00:06:49.540 almost 100% in Spanish. So let's cut the crap. Let's cut the crap. Stand up for yourselves. 1.00
00:06:56.460 America. We are Americans. It's as simple as that. Right back, Jack Posobiec, Human Events Daily.
00:07:15.020 Stand in our way and our golden age has just begun. This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:07:20.580 Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
00:07:25.300 Welcome to the second American Revolution.
00:07:34.360 All right, Jack Posobiec, here we are back.
00:07:37.040 Human Events Daily, really excited to be here,
00:07:40.820 really excited that we'll be able to do all the things that we're doing today.
00:07:46.460 And by the way, I just want to shout out because I didn't mention this before,
00:07:50.580 in the previous segment. Don Jr. just tweeted out about our halftime show. Pete Hegseth,
00:07:57.640 the Secretary of War, tweeted out about the halftime show. And perhaps we should have some,
00:08:03.280 and perhaps I'm not really at liberty to say, but let's just say there's some conversations
00:08:07.560 being had about air assets. Simply leave it at that between us and the Pentagon. And of course,
00:08:13.960 the great Vice President 48 himself, J.D. Vance, tweeted out about the halftime show.
00:08:20.180 It's amazing. It's incredible. This is the America first halftime show. This is the one that you want to be. Don't be a conservative. Don't be kicking back a Bud Light. No, no, no, no, no. You're going to be pro, pro-America. You're not going to go to the America last, the America hating Bad Bunny. No, you're going to go to the pro-America halftime show.
00:08:42.960 we're talking about Turning Point USA, Turning Point USA halftime show. This is the one that
00:08:50.640 you want to watch this. And you know what? Just change the channel. Just turn it off. Because
00:08:54.540 imagine, imagine the response that's going to come out when they go back and look at the ratings.
00:09:00.060 And all of a sudden it's like, boom. And the ratings crater. I want a ratings volanche. Okay.
00:09:08.120 That's terrible. Right there in the middle of it. It's going to be so good. Folks,
00:09:14.000 I've got to tell you, today's partner that we're working with, Patriot Protect. Scammers and
00:09:20.120 criminals raised the stakes last year, and it's only getting worse. Scams are more complicated
00:09:24.640 and harder than ever to catch. AI clones, voices, texts that sound like your family and friends and
00:09:30.060 emails are better at impersonating banks. And so much of your information, your name, address,
00:09:33.720 phone number, and some even of your online activities are publicly available right now.
00:09:39.420 It's not hard to find. What's crazier is that there's hundreds of data brokers
00:09:43.160 openly listing your information. It's often how scammers decide who to target and how identity
00:09:47.980 fraud starts. But this year, the choice is yours. Stay vulnerable or take action with Patriot
00:09:52.160 Protect. Patriot Protect removes your personal data from the internet, wiping it from Google
00:09:56.460 and every major website where scammers, cyber criminals, and stalkers search for targets.
00:10:01.060 Patriot Protect also deletes your personal information from over 240 people search engines and data brokers, the exact sites criminals use to case people before they strike.
00:10:09.840 It's the peace of mind of knowing that you have your own security team, all for the cost of keeping your porch lights on.
00:10:15.480 We use it. You should use it, too.
00:10:17.320 Start 2026 with less exposure and more control with Patriot Protect at Patriot-Protect.com.
00:10:23.520 Patriot-Protect.com and use promo code POSO for 15% off your yearly subscription.
00:10:28.940 You never agreed to share this information.
00:10:30.940 Now you can take it back.
00:10:32.460 That's Patriot dash protect slash POSO and promo code POSO for 15% off your yearly subscription.
00:10:38.460 When I welcome back to the show, a guy who we've had on multiple times.
00:10:43.580 I've been on with him multiple times, but now for the first time as a direct colleague here at real America's voice, the new host of after hours, it is the great Alex Stein, the pimp on the blimp.
00:10:55.440 What's up, Alex?
00:10:56.920 Thank you for having me, Jack.
00:10:58.500 I'm really excited for the halftime show.
00:11:00.760 You know, I'm a huge Kid Rock fan.
00:11:02.720 Ball with the ball, the bang, the bang, diggy, diggy, diggy,
00:11:05.780 send the boogies and up, drop the boogie.
00:11:07.960 So if he plays ball with the ball,
00:11:09.780 it'll be better than Bad Bunny is ever,
00:11:12.060 any song Bad Bunny's ever made.
00:11:15.420 So Alex, what we're going to,
00:11:16.820 actually, I wanted to let you know that
00:11:18.560 because, you know, look, Kid Rock,
00:11:21.080 he's got a very expansive touring schedule
00:11:23.180 and it's just something where, you know,
00:11:24.760 if he gets a little sick or, you know,
00:11:26.920 if something happens with your sore throat, with laryngitis, things are going around.
00:11:31.440 If he catches a bug or perhaps China launches a bioweapon at him, can you be the understudy for Kid Rock?
00:11:38.760 Will you be able to perform ball with the ball if, God forbid, something happens to Kid Rock this Sunday?
00:11:45.460 Well, obviously, we don't want anything to happen to Kid, but, you know, if he does get injured,
00:11:50.520 I mean, I think I would make a good second string, second stringer to get in there and just ball with the ball.
00:11:56.420 But on a serious note, though, Jack, when I was a kid, that was my favorite album.
00:12:00.040 I listened to Ball with a Boss so much.
00:12:02.660 So it's really kind of cool.
00:12:04.100 Yeah, double without a cause.
00:12:05.780 Well, but I'm saying it's really kind of cool to think that, like, now Kid Rock is part of this political movement that I'm part of.
00:12:10.820 Like, I just would have never envisioned that.
00:12:12.180 It's just weird how the world works.
00:12:13.720 I'm sure you're probably surprised, too, that now Kid Rock is fighting for conservatives.
00:12:16.780 No, that's exactly what I was saying before.
00:12:18.880 Yeah.
00:12:19.880 It's crazy.
00:12:20.600 Yeah. And it's the way I look at it, too, is it's it's it to in a sense, it's even more than politics. Right. Because we're not like we're not going to be talking about politics at this event. We're not going to be, you know, Trump is Trump. No, it's not that it's literally going to be we've got a great show lined up.
00:12:37.740 It's going to be in this great theater where people can see it.
00:12:40.540 It's going to be like an Oscars performance, a Grammy performance.
00:12:43.460 And it's really just kind of like for people who are sick, like Charlie.
00:12:48.660 Charlie used to be sick of these Super Bowl halftime shows.
00:12:52.540 You can have an alternative to say, you know what?
00:12:56.300 This is kind of like what I'm more looking for in the first place.
00:13:00.220 It's literally just like the America of the 90s and 2000s.
00:13:04.040 That's all it is.
00:13:04.920 well and you know jack i've been watching this america's team documentary on netflix i don't
00:13:10.420 like netflix really but it's just so good you know and a lot of people think i'm conservative
00:13:13.960 i'm anti-lgbtq which is impossible because i'm a dallas cowboys fan so obviously i have a lot 0.66
00:13:18.680 of gay pride but i want to say that the nfl you should not be woke like the nfl you should be so
00:13:23.440 cool and it's really just lost any like charisma or goodwill that it had with the fans like every
00:13:28.840 stadium basically looks the same they're all going to indoor stadiums because people were
00:13:33.700 complaining in the AFC championship game for snow like the football that I grew up watching you
00:13:38.840 loved it that the Green Bay Packers game was snowing you respected that the Buffalo Bills game
00:13:43.160 was snowing but even the fans are basically deluded and kind of brainwashed into thinking that
00:13:49.300 this new NFL is a good product when it's absolute garbage so really if you guys are watching the 1.00
00:13:54.660 Super Bowl which I know a lot of us are and I'm at Target trying to expose these ice protesters 1.00
00:13:59.620 you know, causing all these employees a bunch of headaches by returning salt, buying salt and 1.00
00:14:04.000 returning it. But my point is the NFL has gone woke. The product stinks. And I hate to see it.
00:14:10.200 Like I watch all the clips from the nineties and just see the degradation of the league,
00:14:13.940 how far downhill it's gone. It's, it's an absolute travesty.
00:14:19.840 No, it really is. And this, this should be something where Americans can just tune in
00:14:24.480 and have a good show. That's really all it's about. Just having a good show. It's really
00:14:29.220 as simple as that. Now, speaking of good shows, though, you've got your show up. It's live. It's
00:14:34.980 going to be on. Walk us through every night, 11 p.m. Eastern, Real America's Voice, what's going
00:14:41.180 on on there. And of course, I have to ask, how are you dealing with the fallout of you being
00:14:47.140 named in the Epstein Files? Well, I'm actually kind of happy to be in the Epstein Files because 0.97
00:14:52.040 if you're a real pimp on a blast, you're going to be in the Epstein Files. That doesn't mean that I
00:14:55.100 did anything to children i was just hanging out i was on a disney cruise jack i was on a disney
00:15:00.340 cruise i was you know and they invited me to the island and said there's free food and drinks so
00:15:05.880 what i'm guilty now trust me i didn't do the same thing as bill clinton but wait wait wait are you
00:15:11.420 are you trying to say that you accidentally went to epstein island i mean i accidentally said yes
00:15:17.280 and then i willingly went but listen that's neither here nor there i want to actually talk
00:15:20.320 about my show for one second about that i've seen stuff jack you're very familiar that there's a
00:15:24.620 very well i'm saying there's a very there's a strong rift within the conservative movement
00:15:29.500 right and you know i have a lot of nuanced political takes like i want amnesty for big 0.80
00:15:33.260 booty latinas which that's not very popular in conservative media or in conservatism for that 0.70
00:15:38.160 matter and i kind of want to use no however tom homan is it's an agreement with you on that
00:15:42.940 see tom's my guy because he's got that dog in him but my point is i actually want to use the show 0.99
00:15:48.580 to kind of bring the right together because that's what they want to do they want to divide
00:15:52.980 and conquer us and because we have been winning our side has been winning they kind of create
00:15:57.860 these like micro fights where it gets a lot of our attention but it's it's all just kind of brain
00:16:03.400 rot does that make sense like we're fighting over nothing because like who's not conservative enough
00:16:07.280 but in reality we all want the same thing we want to have a country where we can all be successful 1.00
00:16:11.940 and we don't want to turn our kids into transgenders and we don't want to have you know 0.91
00:16:16.540 government overreach so I hope my show can I guess kind of push buttons of everybody but also bring
00:16:22.600 people together jack because i hate to see everybody fighting on the internet it makes me
00:16:26.760 really sad to see people that were once friends not that long ago become mortal enemies it's to
00:16:32.720 me it's ridiculous but i see you defending a lot of the people that i'm going to try to defend on
00:16:36.100 my show so i think we're like-minded when it comes to a lot of the fighting being unnecessary on the
00:16:41.360 right well and we need that but at the same time we also need somebody who's up there who's willing
00:16:47.620 to just take shots at everybody and that's what i've always appreciated about you is that you are
00:16:52.500 willing to take shots at everybody and even go and by the way let's just face it gavin newsom
00:16:58.320 the fact that he wasn't named in the epstein files doesn't this show that even how like how 0.96
00:17:03.780 far down the list you have to be where even jeffrey epstein considers you a loser i know
00:17:08.580 well jeffrey epstein and you i think this is why though everybody knows gavin newsom was his number 0.99
00:17:14.660 one staffer when sleeping with his wife like gavin newsom is so sexually disgusting that even
00:17:20.100 jeffrey epstein's like oh i don't know i don't know if we should bring him to the island i mean 0.51
00:17:23.660 at least jeffrey epstein uh probably wouldn't sleep with his best friend's kid or i don't know
00:17:28.020 maybe what i don't even try to defend jeffrey epstein but i will say this if he did give bill
00:17:32.440 gates hiv then you know maybe he's not as bad as we think he is maybe i've seen as you know maybe
00:17:38.980 a little bit of a redeeming quality about himself because honeypotting bill gates wait wait so what
00:17:43.000 are you saying that are you saying that it's it's possible that the whole reason that bill
00:17:49.720 Gates was trying to develop all these vaccines is because he was actually just trying to use that
00:17:55.460 as a cover for curing whatever STDs he got from Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, I wouldn't put it past
00:18:02.320 them. You look at, and on top of it, why was Bill Gates so obsessed with birth control? Probably so
00:18:08.920 he can go do a bunch of weird sexual stuff and not get caught by Melinda. I mean, Bill Gates is
00:18:13.120 allegedly trying to surreptitiously dose Melinda with amoxicillin so she doesn't catch his
00:18:20.280 chlamydia or gonorrhea or whatever it is. I mean, that's an evil person. If you do that to your 0.87
00:18:25.200 wife or the mother of your kids, imagine what you would do to the American public. You would do much
00:18:29.720 worse to the American public. So Bill Gates is a horrible human being. Far, far worse. Yeah, he's 1.00
00:18:35.660 of work. Alex, Alex Stein, where could people go to get the show every night? Tonight, 11 p.m.
00:18:44.540 Eastern, Real America's Voice. I'm happy to be co-working with you, Jack. It's an honor and
00:18:48.540 privilege. And like I said, Jack, I really appreciate you actually speaking out. You call
00:18:53.420 balls and strikes, and not a lot of people do on our side, and I appreciate you doing that.
00:18:58.680 I appreciate that. Alex Stein, check it out. After Hours with Alex Stein. He is paying penance for
00:19:05.560 his many, many sins. We'll be right back. Jack Posobiec, Human Events Daily.
00:19:15.040 Influencers. These are influencers and they're friends of mine. Jack Posobiec. Where's Jack?
00:19:23.460 He's done a great job.
00:19:25.020 All right, Jack Posobiec back live here.
00:19:31.060 Human events daily.
00:19:33.520 We're live on Real America's Voice.
00:19:35.620 I want to tell you about one of our great partners, and this is Allegiance Gold.
00:19:39.160 Guys, you know I've been telling you about this, that you have to pay attention to what's happening with the dollar debt, the central banks.
00:19:44.500 It's all piling up, and when things get rocky, gold has always been the safe haven.
00:19:48.720 But now we know gold is not just defensive.
00:19:50.680 It is an offensive asset.
00:19:52.200 That's why I've been working with my partners at Allegiance Gold for the past three years.
00:19:57.440 They help you protect your savings and retirement with real physical gold and silver, not paper promises.
00:20:02.380 And right now, Allegiance Gold is making it even better.
00:20:05.940 They'll donate 1% of qualified investments from my audience to Turning Point USA or another great America Forest organization in addition to the 1% you already qualify for.
00:20:16.060 So you can protect your wealth and support the movement at the same time.
00:20:18.940 If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it.
00:20:21.200 Don't overthink it.
00:20:22.260 Don't wait until it's too late.
00:20:23.580 See what's going on with gold today.
00:20:25.920 Visit protectwithposo.com or give them a call 844-577-7676.
00:20:31.360 That's protectwithposo.com, 844-577-7676.
00:20:36.440 Protect your future and stand with me fighting for America.
00:20:40.300 So we do really need to get into this question.
00:20:44.120 And I think it's something where there actually is a conversation to be had.
00:20:48.420 And I've given speeches about this.
00:20:49.760 We've seen the vice president give speeches about this. Is Bad Bunny an American? Is Bad Bunny an
00:20:55.540 American? And in fact, so people say, oh, well, he's a Puerto Rican and Puerto Ricans have
00:20:59.780 citizenship. That's true. They have the paperwork and there's no question about that. But even if
00:21:04.180 you talk to people who are Puerto Rican and there are people who work on my show that are of Puerto
00:21:09.660 Rican ancestry, they will tell you that there's a difference between like a Puerto Rican born in
00:21:15.620 New York City versus a Puerto Rican born on the island. In fact, there's a whole musical about
00:21:21.180 it. It's called West Side Story, where there's a song about it. So it's like, this isn't something,
00:21:25.260 this has been a question for a long, long time. And this has been a conversation for a long,
00:21:28.500 long time. And it speaks to the very heart of everything we've been talking about politically.
00:21:34.740 So I wanted to bring on a good friend of mine. You guys know him. He's the co-author of
00:21:38.460 Unhumans, The Secret History of Communist Revolutions and How to Crush Them. His name
00:21:42.880 is Joshua Lysak, and he lives right up the street from the real Haitians of Ohio. Joshua, how are 0.84
00:21:50.480 you? Doing pretty well, despite the fact that the temporary protected status of the various Haitians
00:21:56.420 is now being a federal district judge, going to be continued. Therefore, they are not all going
00:22:03.180 back. A city of 60,000 people gets to keep 15,000 people from another culture with different values
00:22:10.400 that are completely and totally incompatible with central Ohio.
00:22:15.040 So I think you see where I'm going with this, Joshua. 1.00
00:22:17.020 If you import 50,000 Haitians to small-town Ohio where you live, 0.82
00:22:22.780 does that automatically make them American just because you've imported them en masse? 1.00
00:22:27.740 Yes, there's this idea that we have come to know as the magic dirt hypothesis, 0.65
00:22:33.980 which is sort of built on the, quote, America is an idea.
00:22:38.520 Therefore, any people, any place that has American, let's say, laws or has a constitution
00:22:46.800 quite like the United States, it's effectively compatible there.
00:22:51.960 As we are regularly reminded, Thomas Jefferson, all men are created equal according to the
00:22:57.460 Declaration of Independence.
00:22:59.640 While that may mean equal dignity under God being ensouled, that does not therefore mean
00:23:05.440 that every culture is the same. 0.69
00:23:07.340 What I see American immigration doing is a sort of globalist project, a bit like the Tower of Babel, where everyone comes together, everyone is the same, and the languages get confused and there is complete chaos. 0.93
00:23:23.440 It is biblical for different people with different languages to live in different places. 0.96
00:23:30.560 Why are we building a Neo-Babble in Springfield, Ohio, besides to make ourselves feel like we are gods? 0.94
00:23:38.180 I highly doubt this is going to work. 0.96
00:23:44.040 Yeah, and so, again, this is something where Bad Bunny presents us a great opportunity to actually have this discussion.
00:23:51.820 Because even though people can say like, OK, well, you know, and, you know, the fact checkers, the fact checker Americans will say, well, technically, Puerto Rico is U.S. territory and therefore Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.
00:24:04.560 And it's like, yeah, no, we get that. We're not talking about that. We're talking about something else. We're talking about which culture do you identify with?
00:24:12.080 And I would submit to you that because Bad Bunny, he himself presents himself as a Puerto Rican first.
00:24:18.280 He refers to himself as a Puerto Rican first.
00:24:20.520 He flies one flag, the flag of Puerto Rico.
00:24:22.900 He celebrates his Puerto Rican pride.
00:24:25.640 And in fact, his specific brand of Puerto Rican pride is known as Island First, where he wants to maintain that cultural identity.
00:24:35.100 And he has also, because I looked into this, he has spoken out about Puerto Rican identity, and he says that Puerto Rico should not become like Hawaii, where he argues and warns the people of Puerto Rico that, in fact, Hawaii was culturally assimilated by the United States, and he doesn't want that to happen for Puerto Rico.
00:24:53.640 And, of course, neither do I.
00:24:55.060 That's why I support Puerto Rican independence, full independence for Puerto Rico.
00:24:59.100 that's an interesting perspective and i think it gets to the fact that something i learned
00:25:05.120 growing up first homeschooled in a very conservative evangelical sort of subculture
00:25:10.260 in my mind until i was about 18 years old i thought that americans or an american an american
00:25:17.940 citizen was the same thing as being we're going from a noun to an adjective being the writer guy
00:25:24.560 here. To be an American was to be American. And I was 18 years old when I realized for the first
00:25:32.780 time that was not the case. Where you have, you may have the citizenship, you may, whether it's
00:25:39.880 Puerto Rican or it's Ohio like myself or otherwise, but the American enculturation, the values, the
00:25:47.360 heritage, when you see the flag, you say that's me or you say that's my enemy. For example, in some
00:25:53.680 cases, or you identify with one flag or another, or you see people all over parking lots of southwest
00:25:59.260 Ohio, where I live, and you can't help but notice there are Cuban, Mexican, Venezuelan,
00:26:06.440 Honduran, Nicaraguan, and therefore additional ones, in peoples hanging from little lanyards
00:26:13.080 and little strings inside of their vehicles, in parking lots all over Ohio. You've got bumper 0.96
00:26:17.760 stickers everywhere. And I'm thinking, if you're so proud of being Mexican, why aren't you in Mexico? 1.00
00:26:22.480 If you're so proud of being Haitian, why are you here? 0.97
00:26:25.720 Some of you may be American citizens, but you're clearly not American.
00:26:28.980 Now, that said, there are people whose ancestors are from other places who have successfully
00:26:34.560 enculturated, and while they may have a different racial background or ethnicity, in my experience,
00:26:40.060 they are American in their culture and their values.
00:26:44.500 They grill and eat up, let's say, bacon cheeseburgers just like I do, even if, let's say,
00:26:50.160 they may be from India.
00:26:50.980 from so it's so so wait this is a great conversation joshua we got it we got a quick
00:26:55.060 break this is a great conversation we're going to hold you over right back human events daily

00:27:27.080 all right jack we are back here human events daily live real america's voice folks let me
00:27:38.120 tell you something straight up i'm extremely picky about what i put in my body and what
00:27:43.360 company as I support in Blackout Coffee checks every single box. There's a family-run American
00:27:48.440 company roasting fresh coffee right here in the USA, built by people who believe in hard work,
00:27:53.860 freedom in this country. And 2026 is a huge year. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the
00:27:59.300 United States of America. It's our 250th birthday. And Blackout Coffee is celebrating it all year
00:28:04.580 long. We're talking new roasts. We're talking limited edition, some very exciting releases
00:28:09.580 coming. I drink this every day. Even when I'm traveling, you guys should too. And what's so
00:28:17.120 great is that with the Morning Reaper, this is the best-selling media roast, the Smooth and
00:28:21.460 Never Bitter Brutal Awakening. That's definitely going to wake you up. It's actually my favorite.
00:28:25.380 But for 2026, I really want to try, and you guys got to try this too, the 1776 Dark Roast made to
00:28:32.180 honor America's founding and the 2A Medium Roast. It's all about the Second Amendment. It shows up 0.58

00:28:53.700 poso for 20 off your first order that's blackoutcoffee.com slash poso celebrate 240 years
00:29:00.220 of freedom drink coffee that tastes incredible because every sip should feel like a win we'll
00:29:06.180 that Joshua Lysak back on here. So Joshua, you know, you're really talking about this kind of
00:29:10.860 difference between someone who's an American because they have the right paperwork versus
00:29:15.860 someone who's American because they totally accept what it means to be an American. They learn the
00:29:22.580 language. They have the cultural insights. They believe in the American cultural system. And look,
00:29:31.800 I'm not going to be one of those guys who sits here and tries to like make this argument, but
00:29:35.380 people do know that I am actually married to an immigrant. And this is obviously something that we
00:29:40.320 deal with in our family, that my children, when they talk to their mom, and she talks about being
00:29:45.660 an immigrant as well, but she teaches them, she teaches them about where she's from, but she
00:29:50.000 teaches them also to love their home, which is America. Yes, that gets to it. There's a sense
00:29:57.800 of gratitude. Whenever anyone talks to Tanya about her experience coming to the United States and
00:30:03.580 now getting to enjoy the privilege of living here, versus in many cases, there being a
00:30:08.940 sense of entitlement with regard to gimmies and stimmies from people from the global south,
00:30:15.540 we call it, the developing world, I think the southern hemisphere and various countries
00:30:19.520 and continents, where, oh, there's free money available, there's free welfare, there's
00:30:24.140 free benefits, there's all these things I get to get, get, get, get, get, if I can come
00:30:28.400 to the world's economic zone, aka the United States of America.
00:30:32.400 but the United States is not an economic zone. It's our home. Look at Norman Rockwell,
00:30:40.200 let's say, positive propaganda, not a dirty word, positive propaganda about the American experience
00:30:46.380 from the post-war period, mid-20th century. That's sort of Americana, this vision of an
00:30:56.040 American dream with a husband, wife, house, car, picket fence, two and a half kids, one and a half
00:31:02.860 pets. That is the dream. And it's not just a dream. It was a reality that said, if you live this way,
00:31:10.640 you will have these benefits. You will reap these rewards if you do this work. But as that message
00:31:18.160 got out via global telecommunications, transportation, logistics, telecommunications, 0.72
00:31:22.560 like the internet over time, it came to be, this is what you get by being in America versus the
00:31:30.600 subtle word difference, being an American. The fruits of the labor of Americans is not from
00:31:38.180 simply being here and getting to defraud us all, whether you're from Haiti or Somalia, 0.63
00:31:43.940 but because you live a certain way. Every July 4th, you appreciate everything that was sacrificed
00:31:50.060 by the Founding Fathers generation come the previous days, July 1st, 2nd, 3rd. You think
00:31:55.520 of the Battle of Gettysburg that occurred during the War Between the States, which is what it's
00:31:59.960 called in the southern states to this day. And of course, we all know that that population
00:32:04.420 resulted in the greatest generation by and large. The immigrant populations of that period from the
00:32:12.860 northern, eastern, and midwestern cities, all inculturated with one another through multiple
00:32:18.900 world wars, a Great Depression, and then finally a thriving experience. People don't understand
00:32:23.940 necessarily that Germans versus Swedes versus Italians versus Irish, that was a real, real
00:32:31.240 problem for a significant number of decades as part of American history, immigrant groups not
00:32:37.300 getting along. And it took decades for people who look like each other to get along. The idea of 1.00
00:32:45.940 a white America versus everybody else is historically illiterate. The memes of the 0.76
00:32:52.540 Bill the Butcher character from Gangs of New York, that is now going around with the online
00:33:00.040 conversations about immigration. And that period of American history was wildly violent between
00:33:07.340 among the Scots-Irish, the Catholic-Irish, the English who had been here for a number of years,
00:33:13.820 the Dutch as well. Just immigration has a violent history in the United States. And the more people 0.98
00:33:19.320 we import, the more ethnic conflicts we get. And people like Charlie Kirk wisely called for 1.00
00:33:26.580 moratorium on immigration, not just illegal, obviously, but legal immigration. We need a time 0.99
00:33:32.580 out. We need to have a period of, and perhaps decades, generations of the people who are here 1.00
00:33:39.300 to learn how to get along and to separate the people who are Americans with those who can 0.95
00:33:46.640 actually be American so that we can reunite the noun and the adjective of American together so
00:33:55.180 we can last another 250 years. What do you think, Jack? Yeah, that's what it really needs to be. I
00:34:02.460 think there's a couple other things going on here too with Bad Bunny because I think very clearly
00:34:07.280 what's happening is that Bad Bunny is an influence operation that's aimed at splitting MAGA. So they
00:34:15.280 saw the Hispanic swing to Donald Trump in 2024. And they said, look, we got to find somebody who's 0.77
00:34:21.220 like a safe Latino that we want all the people to come up and say, oh, if you're Latino, you support
00:34:28.200 this guy. And then see, here's those Americans. They don't support you. These Trump supporters,
00:34:33.200 et cetera, when it isn't even about that. When you go and look, as we now know,
00:34:37.640 ICE and Border Patrol, a huge percentage of them are actually of Hispanic extraction. So it doesn't 1.00
00:34:44.320 have anything to do with that. And in fact, it has nothing to do, it never had anything to do
00:34:48.060 with that in the first place either, because the reason the United States maintains Puerto Rico
00:34:52.080 as a territory is because of the naval presence in the Caribbean and now the air presence. If you
00:34:58.780 go look at the F-35s, the rest of it, all of those that were flown in the Venezuela operation to get
00:35:03.180 Maduro, all of that came out of where? Out of Puerto Rico. That's the reason that Puerto Rico
00:35:09.100 is necessary for the hemispheric defense. That's why it made America always maintain that as a
00:35:14.620 base. We also have Guantanamo Bay for the same reason. However, for obvious reasons, Cuba isn't 0.82
00:35:20.480 always as favorable to U.S. operations out of Guantanamo Bay. And that's why really the base
00:35:25.840 is only used at this point for detention operations for terrorists and potentially Don Lemon. We'll
00:35:30.160 see. And so the whole point of this, you know, the deal, same as Guam, was that the inhabitants 0.59
00:35:37.080 of the island were then given U.S. citizenship and it was annexed as a U.S. territory. And so
00:35:43.100 because of the military strategy, it had nothing to do with, as you say, assimilation to the
00:35:51.000 country. It had nothing to do with culture. It had nothing to do with any of this. It was literally
00:35:55.520 the United States post-Spanish American War, 1898, coming in and saying, okay, we have these
00:36:01.060 territories now, and what are we going to do with them as we expand into more of a great power?
00:36:07.080 Also, by the way, much of this was done by Teddy Roosevelt, and Teddy Roosevelt in that same era
00:36:12.440 specifically came out, and who fought in the Spanish American War, he specifically came out
00:36:16.800 and said, we have no room in this country for hyphenated Americans. And you know something,
00:36:21.360 joshua he was exactly right be they paperwork american dash uh uh otherwise and of course i
00:36:29.580 like i like to joke about being npr americans or facebook americans keeping that dash uh in there
00:36:36.300 and i bringing up bad money again that reminded me um something that that various npr americans
00:36:43.080 will do is they will over exaggerate the pronunciation of various uh languages that
00:36:48.500 they may or may not speak to try to sound like they're a local. And went viral last night on X
00:36:54.240 was a 2024 ad for then-candidate Donald J. Trump for president. And it was something like
00:37:01.440 Latinos por Trump was the name of the ad. And that reminded me, a number of years ago,
00:37:08.160 met a man named Jose Rosado. He's a great follow on X. And he has kind of the pulse of Central
00:37:13.980 America, so to speak, culturally speaking. And it was maybe eight years ago, he told me something
00:37:18.200 the effect of Joshua, and in his wonderful Dominican accent, he said, Joshua, you have 0.62
00:37:23.680 no idea how much Latinos hate illegal immigrants. And that was my first word of wake up kind of
00:37:29.840 coming out of liberalism and being an NPR American at that time myself. What do you mean? And of course
00:37:36.180 there are a number of Dominicans and Puerto Ricans that I've met through conversations with him
00:37:39.820 that absolutely love being American and being not just America first, but here's the key for
00:37:45.300 immigration, and identity. American first. I am deeply proud to use an ad. American first. I love
00:37:51.760 this. Joshua Lysak. Go give him a follow, folks, at Joshua Lysak, wherever you can get him. We're
00:37:58.540 right back. Jack Posobiec, Human Defense Daily. Jack is a great guy. He's written that fantastic
00:38:11.660 week. Everybody's talking about it. Go get it. And he's been my friend right from the beginning
00:38:16.420 of this whole beautiful event. And we're going to turn it around and make our country great to get
00:38:21.280 to you. Amen. All right, Jack, we're back on with human events daily. Now I wanted to get in. We do
00:38:32.460 have Tyler Robinson updates the case, another pretrial hearing scheduled to take place really
00:38:38.480 just beginning in a couple of minutes, but we do have access to some of the hearing, excuse me,
00:38:43.340 some of the motions that are going to be put in at that hearing. Libby Emmons, the editor-in-chief
00:38:48.660 of The Postmillennial and also the host of the new podcast, The Podmillennial, joins us now. Libby,
00:38:55.080 how are you? I'm good, Jack. Thanks. So walk us through the latest. Am I right to believe that
00:39:03.460 Tyler Robinson's lawyers are now trying to block the video of Charlie being murdered from the
00:39:10.680 trial. Yes, that's certainly what it looks like. There's a report out from the AP and we're
00:39:16.240 currently trying to track down the documents so that we can read them for ourselves and get an
00:39:21.040 understanding of what's going on. Today is a hearing for the judge to determine whether or
00:39:26.660 not cameras will be permitted in the courtroom for the duration of the trial. This has been a
00:39:32.380 fraught issue the entire time. And there have been numerous times that the judge has told
00:39:39.520 media and cameras to move back because they are not permitted to show Robinson in shackles. And
00:39:45.880 so his defense attorneys have made a big fuss about this for months. And we've seen that every
00:39:51.260 time that Robinson has been in the courtroom that has turned into some kind of problem. So the hearing
00:39:56.480 today is about whether or not cameras will be permitted in the courtroom. And I think, as I
00:40:02.620 believe you do as well, we've talked about this many times, that of course cameras should be
00:40:06.740 in the courtroom. Charlie Kirk did not get to determine whether or not his murder would be
00:40:12.780 broadcast live, and it sure was. And I don't think that the case against the alleged killer here
00:40:20.060 should be held in secret at all.
00:40:23.140 Then, yes, there are also concerns.
00:40:25.460 The defense attorneys are apparently trying to block the video of Charlie's killing from
00:40:32.200 being shown.
00:40:33.740 It's unclear if they're trying to block that just from the hearing today or if they're
00:40:37.360 trying to block that overall, but they are apparently concerned that there would be jury
00:40:44.520 bias if they were to see something so graphic and horrific in the courtroom.
00:40:50.060 Well, and that's the thing, right? Because what's what's what strikes me as odd here is that, of course, Charlie didn't get any ability to, you know, have a say in whether or not his murder would be public.
00:41:05.320 He didn't have any of these rights afforded to him. He didn't have the right to privacy. No,
00:41:09.680 he was murdered and knowingly and deliberately so murdered on live stream so that he wasn't
00:41:17.320 murdered walking out of his car, walking out of his hotel. The murderer waited until Charlie was
00:41:22.780 on live stream to pull the trigger. And the reason for that was so that not only would it affect all
00:41:29.040 the people in the crowd, but all the people outside watching on the live stream. It was,
00:41:35.580 in a sense, a made-for-TV murder. That's the point. That's why it was a political assassination
00:41:42.660 and, of course, one of the highest forms of asymmetric warfare and asymmetric civil war
00:41:48.900 and terrorism. This is why it is done, to strike terror and fear into the hearts of anyone who's
00:41:56.740 watching. It's knowing or, you know, trying to send the message that if you do this, know that
00:42:02.680 this will happen to you. And so I think it's disgusting. I think it's absolutely disgusting 0.77
00:42:06.920 that they're trying to block this evidence from the jury. Yes, I agree with you. I think it's
00:42:11.340 absolutely horrific. And of course, the evidence should be shown. This is going to be a trial to
00:42:16.820 determine a man's guilt or innocence as regards a brutal politically motivated killing. And I think
00:42:23.580 that the jury has to see exactly what this is about. I think they need to see exactly what
00:42:29.640 happened. It's not every case where you have a video of the crime, and there's a video of the
00:42:36.680 crime, and that obviously should be shown in court and should be shown to a jury so that it can help
00:42:43.440 them make their determination during their deliberations. There's no reason to keep it back.
00:42:48.580 And this defense team, what they've been doing repeatedly is talking about how there could be bias and how that bias would prejudice a jury or media or the public against their client.
00:43:00.400 But the fact of the matter is that this is evidence, that this is all out there.
00:43:05.180 And if it's going to bias people against their client, then perhaps that has to do with their client and not the media and not the jury.
00:43:14.700 Well, I love I love. Well, and Libby, I love the you know, I love the the double standard here, because if you take this as being your frame, if this is your, you know, so if this is your viewpoint, then if you take that standard and apply it forward, then OK, well, are they what are they going to ban next?
00:43:34.200 The autopsy report, the ballistics report? Are they going to ban the DNA? Are they going to ban all of these? Well, it could be prejudicial, could be prejudicial.
00:43:41.200 If that's your standard, right, they're going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing.
00:43:45.200 And look, I understand that that's the point of the system.
00:43:48.420 I understand that's what the defense lawyers are doing.
00:43:50.180 But this team, I mean, saying that you can't show Tyler Robinson on trial because and the judge made this decision because there might be lip syncers.
00:43:59.100 I'm sorry. I don't remember Kyle Rittenhouse ever getting that when he was on trial.
00:44:03.280 I certainly don't remember Kyle. Anyone saying that Kyle Rittenhouse could have the ability to not be on camera.
00:44:08.020 He was on camera for every single second of that. But you know what?
00:44:11.200 else. Kyle Rittenhouse wasn't scared to be on camera because he knew he was innocent.
00:44:17.800 Yes, I think that's exactly right. And there's no reason at all that we shouldn't be able to
00:44:22.060 see the suspect in this case during the trial and during these hearings. I think it's absolutely a
00:44:28.160 wrong decision by this judge who is placating these defense attorneys, where clearly they
00:44:33.180 should not be placated. That's not what should happen here. The country is entitled to justice
00:44:38.240 in this case. And as you said, this is a case that has affected the entire country.
00:44:42.500 It's affected people worldwide because of the way that it was shown. It was live streamed. And
00:44:48.160 because additionally, in the aftermath, we saw every step of the way. Right. I mean, the FBI
00:44:53.600 came out and and released footage that of the suspect leaving the scene of the crime. And that
00:45:00.680 is what encouraged Tyler Robinson's parents to come forward and say that they believed it was
00:45:05.740 their son and to help him turn himself in. Every step of the way, this has been a very tech-heavy
00:45:11.520 case. This has been a very public case in every aspect of it. And I think that it would be
00:45:17.080 absolutely wrong to turn off the cameras now. We need to see what's going on there. And I think
00:45:22.760 that it's really, I think that it's really important that we all see it. And that's why
00:45:26.620 we've been advocating so hard to have cameras in the courtroom. And we're not the only ones,
00:45:31.200 right? Erica Kirk came out. Charlie's widow came out and said that she thought that the camera 0.99
00:45:36.100 should be in the courtroom as well. And she's also put together an appeal to have a speedy trial.
00:45:42.560 There have already been so many delays. Every step of the way, the defense team has said,
00:45:47.080 no, we can't do this. We need to move this to another time. And this case is still not on trial.
00:45:52.520 I think that's important for people to realize that the case has not hit trial yet. These are
00:45:58.060 just hearings, repeated hearings to discuss little minutiae as to how the trial should be conducted
00:46:04.020 and what should be permitted at trial. But I don't think we're actually going to see the trial
00:46:08.320 commence until June or something at this rate, because they're just going little tiny step by
00:46:13.460 little tiny step. And they are delay tactics, because I think Robinson and his team do not want
00:46:19.000 to face a jury, and I don't think they want to face justice. That is absolutely right. And I
00:46:26.300 commend Erica for I haven't discussed any of these motions with Erica just to you know cards on the
00:46:31.960 table there or anything like that that's obviously between her and the lawyers but at the same time
00:46:36.840 you know I think it's incredible that she's doing this and stepping up saying that it should be a
00:46:40.780 speedy trial and that she wants full transparency the American people deserve transparency they
00:46:46.020 deserve this entire thing to be public I've always called for if there's a report on the autopsy put
00:46:50.500 it out if there's a report on the ballistics put it out I don't have to rely on oh somebody said
00:46:54.840 something. No, put everything out. If there's more video, I want that out as well. Just put
00:46:59.700 it all out because this is the world we live in now. We live in the world where people go over
00:47:05.600 things. They go frame by frame. They did it with Alex Preddy. They did it with Charlie's videos
00:47:09.740 when they came out. It is just reality. And so because of the fact that Charlie's murder
00:47:15.780 was live on TV, I think that all of the evidence should be broadcast as well, because if this guy
00:47:22.460 going to get a fair trial which i agree that he should i certainly agree that he should that i
00:47:27.260 want everything done by the book but at the same time i think the american public deserve that as
