Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - JAN 20 2022 - NBC WON’T SEND ANNOUNCERS TO 2022 WINTER OLYMPICS IN BEIJING

00:00:00.140 Well, the winter storms are crashing in and they are coming, they're getting stronger,

00:00:05.760 and this is going to be a heck of a winter.

00:00:07.760 Look, here in D.C., we've had snow three times already.

00:00:11.120 We barely had any last year.

00:00:12.700 The lake out back where I live, my little lake, it's already been frozen over for two

00:00:17.460 weeks straight, solid, so much for global warming, right?

00:00:20.960 But that is why you need to pay attention and you need to prepare now, because not only

00:00:25.940 do we have the problems of Bidenflation, we have the problems of what is going on with

00:00:31.840 our food supply, our supply chains, and the bare shelves that my wife and so many other

00:00:37.960 people are seeing when they go out to the shopping, to go shopping.

00:00:42.100 So that is why it's not just for emergencies.

00:00:45.120 You need to go now, get your long-term storage, your emergency food supply from MyPatriotSupply

00:00:50.640 right now.

00:00:51.500 You can save less than $50 on a four-week emergency food kit from MyPatriotSupply.

00:00:55.540 So where do you go?

00:00:56.600 It's very simple.

00:00:58.200 PrepareWithPoso.com today.

00:00:59.820 You save $50 if you go there on a four-week kit.

00:01:02.740 The website is PrepareWithPoso.com.

00:01:04.800 So act now.

00:01:06.300 This is the time for action.

00:01:07.680 You get a four-week kit, over 2,000 calories per day.

00:01:11.680 It gives you the energy you need if you're going to be in one of those situations.

00:01:14.460 You get one for each person in your family.

00:01:16.180 You work it out.

00:01:17.180 You can do the math to figure out what makes sense for your family.

00:01:19.940 And you know what else you should do?

00:01:21.180 Because we saw what happened on I-95 back then when it got shut down in the state of Virginia.

00:01:25.740 Go.

00:01:26.500 Throw one in the trunk of your car.

00:01:28.100 You do not know if you're going to be out there.

00:01:30.000 You're going to be caught overnight.

00:01:31.320 Just have one of those emergency food kits in there. 0.59

00:01:33.720 Because, you know, God forbid, like with me, we've got two little boys.

00:01:37.000 If something ever happened while you were on a road trip, I would just love to know to

00:01:40.340 have that peace of mind.

00:01:41.540 That, look, I got a blanket.

00:01:42.680 I got a flare.

00:01:43.720 I've got some emergency kit for my car.

00:01:45.620 But then I've also got food for the family should, God forbid, we get caught in one of

00:01:50.900 those situations.

00:01:51.840 So the website is preparewithposo.com.

00:01:54.180 Go there today.

00:01:55.000 Take action.

00:01:56.980 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily on Turning Point

00:02:01.420 USA.

00:02:01.980 Today's top stories, NBC is not sending announcers to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing due to

00:02:13.080 Omicron.

00:02:13.760 I'm going to read that headline again because it makes so much sense.

00:02:17.540 NBC will not send announcers to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing due to Omicron.

00:02:25.920 OK, next, Ukraine officials are shocked as President Biden gave a green light to a Russian 0.99

00:02:32.540 incursion.

00:02:33.660 Third, a new Ashley Babbitt video, this is actually really important, has come out showing that

00:02:39.200 she did not look like she was part of the violent mob.

00:02:43.020 We'll break it down.

00:02:43.820 And then finally, the 5G rollout disaster.

00:02:46.480 Secretary Pete is AWOL and telecoms and airlines are in tailspin.

00:02:51.300 All this is Morehead, Human Events Daily.

00:02:55.920 The 2022 Winter Olympics are coming up in Beijing.

00:03:07.480 And I've said before, and I'm going to say it again, these Olympic games should not be

00:03:13.220 being held in Beijing at this time.

00:03:15.820 Look at everything that the CCP has done in its history, not only, you know, the 50 years

00:03:23.140 of history.

00:03:23.840 Forget about that for a second.

00:03:25.040 Just look at the last 18 months of what Xi Jinping, this guy who is about to declare

00:03:32.260 himself chairman for life, has done in terms of Wuhan, the lab, gain-of-function experiments,

00:03:40.360 working with Dr. Fauci behind the scenes, going through and gobbling up all the PPE while sending

00:03:47.540 flights outside of China, knowing that there was a pandemic virus circulating within the country.

00:03:54.640 He allowed the flights to continue.

00:03:57.860 Do not let that go.

00:04:01.320 Because we're certainly not here.

00:04:03.320 These Olympics in Beijing, which will take place in two weeks, are a coronation.

00:04:08.980 They are a world coronation of Xi Jinping, not only as chairman for life, but potentially

00:04:15.860 as the next hegemon. 0.93

00:04:18.280 Because if you saw this President Biden press conference yesterday, you know this guy's

00:04:22.060 not the one in charge.

00:04:23.520 President Biden has always been a number two.

00:04:26.040 Previously, that was to President Obama.

00:04:28.660 Now, it's to Chairman Xi Jinping.

00:04:31.000 So, NBC has come out and said, well, we're not going to be sending sports announcers to the

00:04:36.700 2022 World Olympics due to COVID-19 outbreaks.

00:04:39.640 So, explain this to me.

00:04:41.920 NBC won't be sending reporters.

00:04:46.760 Right?

00:04:47.260 You get it, right?

00:04:47.800 They won't send the reporters because of the threat of Omicron.

00:04:52.180 Yet all the sports teams are going to be sending people.

00:04:55.580 Diplomats are going to be going.

00:04:57.200 Delegations are going to be going.

00:04:59.080 Do you understand?

00:05:01.600 This is, understand the directional flow of power that you're seeing here.

00:05:06.040 It is from the rest of the world to Beijing and specifically to Chairman Xi Jinping because

00:05:10.860 2008, the last time China held the Olympics, Xi Jinping was not yet in power.

00:05:15.840 He was waiting in the wings.

00:05:16.800 He was coming up.

00:05:17.460 He was already the Shanghai Party boss, but he was working his way in.

00:05:20.800 Then 2012, this is 2022, the 10 years that he was supposed to step down.

00:05:27.080 But now, he is going to be coronated as chairman for life.

00:05:32.060 And so, go look, by the way, at what's going on inside China right now.

00:05:36.860 Drones flying around announcing the lockdowns.

00:05:40.260 Take a look.

00:06:00.900 And what that drone is saying for people who aren't watching, that's a drone, a quadcopter

00:06:28.760 flying around with a megaphone on it that's repeating a message, announcement, your area,

00:06:36.660 your neighborhood is now under lockdown by the local party health authorities.

00:06:42.860 So understand, this is what's going on within China.

00:06:46.620 You got NBC, who paid all this money years ago to get the coverage for the Olympic Games.

00:06:52.400 I understand that's all done years in advance.

00:06:54.840 Because they're not even sending reporters to the Beijing Olympics.

00:07:01.040 Why is anyone going to Beijing here?

00:07:03.040 You know, go back in time a little bit.

00:07:04.740 1980, this is what's so crazy.

00:07:06.520 You know, the way the world turns.

00:07:07.700 We've always been at war with East Asia, right? 1.00

00:07:11.460 In 1980, the United States boycotted the Olympics.

00:07:16.140 In Moscow, you knew who else boycotted those Olympics from the Soviet Union?

00:07:20.880 China.

00:07:21.320 China boycotted along with us.

00:07:25.000 They held, it was called like the Freedom Games, and they were held in Philadelphia at

00:07:28.540 the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field.

00:07:31.240 Those games, U.S. and China held together, and that was 1980.

00:07:37.240 So here we are, right, 40 years later, and it's a complete reversal.

00:07:42.300 Yet we are not, we are not responding.

00:07:46.120 Why?

00:07:47.060 Because understand, we are a tributary state to the new hegemon.

00:07:52.660 So President Biden gave, of course, this rambling, incoherent press conference yesterday.

00:08:03.020 Went up for two hours.

00:08:04.140 There's a way to prove himself.

00:08:05.740 Prove himself to the world.

00:08:07.580 I can do it.

00:08:08.540 I've got the stamina.

00:08:09.380 But yeah, of course, it was at 4 p.m., but not actually in prime time, because 4 p.m.

00:08:14.060 is prime time for President Biden.

00:08:15.660 So yeah, all right.

00:08:17.580 Here's what's really going on.

00:08:20.000 He gave a statement yesterday.

00:08:23.260 And I think everyone's heard it at this point.

00:08:24.860 I'm not even going to play the clip.

00:08:25.740 But he essentially said that if all Russia does is a limited incursion in Ukraine, those eastern

00:08:34.440 provinces, then the United States will not have a forceful response.

00:08:40.020 Now, in real time, I'm watching this.

00:08:41.900 You can follow my Twitter.

00:08:43.440 You know, I picked up on that because that's the world I come from, geopolitics, international

00:08:47.040 relations.

00:08:47.520 Look, you just undercut your own secretary of state that landed on Kiev a couple hours

00:08:53.900 before.

00:08:54.960 You said the quiet part out loud.

00:08:57.740 You don't give away your negotiating position, right?

00:09:00.820 We understand.

00:09:02.160 We understand that the asking price always has to be, the starting point always has to

00:09:07.620 be, you will give us nothing, right?

00:09:10.820 We will give up nothing and you will give us everything.

00:09:13.280 That has to be your starting point.

00:09:14.200 This is how just basic negotiations work.

00:09:16.300 But then you also already have your fallback position.

00:09:19.800 So your fallback position is the one that you say, all right, well, if we have to compromise,

00:09:24.720 we'll compromise here.

00:09:25.760 So I don't get everything that I want.

00:09:27.320 You don't get everything that you want.

00:09:28.540 But I know that I can live with this fallback position.

00:09:32.560 What President Biden said was the fallback position.

00:09:36.380 That's probably what he was told that Tony Blinken was going to do behind the scenes if it

00:09:42.580 came to that.

00:09:43.500 But you don't say it publicly, Joe.

00:09:45.360 You don't say it publicly.

00:09:48.300 And this situation has completely gotten out of hand.

00:09:53.220 So listen to, and I apologize to everybody, because we do have to have Jake Tapper a little

00:09:58.220 bit in this clip, but then also the response from Ukraine.

00:10:01.560 Were Biden's remarks interpreted there as a less than wholehearted warning to Putin to not invade?

00:10:11.980 Well, I mean, that's an understatement.

00:10:17.420 I mean, they watch those remarks, I think, with horror.

00:10:20.740 One Ukrainian official who I've been in close contact with while this marathon press conference

00:10:27.080 is underway said that he was, I'm quoting here, shocked that President Biden would give a green

00:10:33.160 light to Vladimir Putin in this way, that the U.S. president would distinguish between an

00:10:38.880 incursion and an invasion.

00:10:40.640 And it suggests that a minor incursion would elicit a lesser response than a more full invasion.

00:10:49.000 So there you go.

00:10:50.480 Gives up the entire negotiating position.

00:10:53.360 So, of course, you know, Putin and the rest of the Russians, look, they understand.

00:10:58.200 The position on this, by the way, it's not only is it clear, it's historic, right?

00:11:02.260 Just go and look.

00:11:03.280 I've said it a million times.

00:11:05.040 Geography is destiny.

00:11:06.760 Geography is destiny.

00:11:09.460 China and Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, right? 0.66

00:11:11.800 You can't change the geography.

00:11:14.600 Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, you can't change the geography.

00:11:19.980 Dig into that map.

00:11:21.500 Let's show a map break right here.

00:11:23.600 Russia has most of its population in the West.

00:11:26.740 I know Siberia is, you know, huge on the map.

00:11:28.840 It's big, but it's not really all that populated.

00:11:32.120 You know, maybe the cities in the Russian far east, like Vladivostok.

00:11:35.540 But essentially, Siberia, you can discount that as actually being populated.

00:11:40.080 The vast majority of the Russian population is in the West.

00:11:44.800 That's where the railroads are. 0.94

00:11:46.140 That's the railways.

00:11:46.940 That's where the bulk of their economic activity takes place.

00:11:49.540 It's all in the West.

00:11:51.040 The problem with the Russian West is that it's largely landlocked or in areas where they

00:11:56.640 have a little bit of touch on the ocean.

00:11:59.380 For example, Rostov-on-Don or St. Petersburg, right?

00:12:02.760 Those are the two major ports that aren't completely locked in by the Arctic Ocean, which obviously

00:12:06.660 you can't use for most of the year.

00:12:08.040 Those are all protected by choke points, by sea lines.

00:12:12.660 So your sea lines of communication, your slocks, are all dependent now on the Baltics, dependent 0.57

00:12:18.080 on the UK.

00:12:19.540 If you get out to the wider Atlantic Ocean, because you've got Greenland, Iceland, and

00:12:23.720 then the UK, so you've got the gaps there.

00:12:25.760 And then, of course, the Black Sea.

00:12:27.360 So this is Russia's greatest geostrategic problem.

00:12:29.900 This is also why Syria was so important to Russia, because they also maintain a naval

00:12:34.680 port there on the Syrian coastline, which gives them access to the eastern Mediterranean.

00:12:39.460 If you want to be a major power in the world, you need to have a sea presence.

00:12:44.300 And so that's what this is all about.

00:12:46.460 It is about Russia maintaining a sea presence and then being able, of course, to control 0.93

00:12:51.940 that.

00:12:52.400 That's why they need good relations with Turkey, because Turkey controls the Bosphorus

00:12:55.460 straight at the opening, right, the doorway to the Black Sea, which then they're able

00:12:59.360 to come up through.

00:13:00.120 That's why they were never going to allow Crimea to be taken away from them.

00:13:04.180 Like, it's just basic stuff.

00:13:06.080 It's just really basic stuff.

00:13:07.860 So, you know, look at a map and understand, you know, the strategy isn't that hard to

00:13:12.360 figure out.

00:13:13.240 But, of course, most people couldn't find any of these places on a map.

00:13:17.720 Joe Biden, President Biden, cannot unring this bell.

00:13:21.580 He cannot unring this bell.

00:13:23.020 Nothing that Psaki or Secretary Blinken or any of these people put out are going to be

00:13:27.720 able to walk back what he just did.

00:13:29.920 And if you're Taiwan, if you're Taiwan, you might as well just start mining the strait 1.00

00:13:34.980 right now, because not only did Moscow hear this, but Beijing heard it as well.

00:13:41.380 And so a minor incursion, well, what does that mean in terms of the Taiwan situation,

00:13:46.720 right?

00:13:47.240 This was a monumental diplomatic failure by this administration.

00:13:53.020 Period.

00:13:53.500 Full stop.

00:13:53.940 All right.

00:13:57.960 So now we know that the winter storms are coming.

00:14:01.180 The Northeast, the Midwest, even Texas has another winter ice storm coming.

00:14:07.080 If you are out there, go and get your order.

00:14:09.800 And now MyPillow.com, you use promo code POSO, you bundle up.

00:14:13.600 They got the MySlipper sale that just launched.

00:14:15.820 They got the betting sale that's going on for all of January.

00:14:17.940 You go in, get your gear upgraded before the winter storms hit.

00:14:24.240 The Saskatchewan screamer we've heard that's coming down from Canada.

00:14:28.040 Don't even be in the path of that thing without going to upgrade to some warm sleepwear, the

00:14:34.500 slippers, the robes, the blankets.

00:14:36.500 You will be fine all winter.

00:14:38.280 MyPillow.com, promo code POSO.

00:14:40.380 So switching from geopolitics to domestic politics, the story of Ashley Babbitt.

00:14:48.060 Now, this is a story that has been circulating for over a year, over a complete year now in

00:14:53.200 the media.

00:14:53.620 Today, of course, being the one year anniversary of President Biden's inauguration as president.

00:14:59.840 Yet we've got new video out for the first time in over a year on Ashley Babbitt, who was

00:15:06.780 the protester who was shot and killed, the only person who died in terms of a homicide

00:15:13.200 on January 6th, the only person who was killed that day.

00:15:17.020 Ashley Babbitt pleaded with police to call for backup moments before she was shot and

00:15:23.180 killed.

00:15:23.680 This is from Epoch Times, breaking it down.

00:15:25.840 Moments before she was shot and killed, Ashley Babbitt confronted the police officers guarding

00:15:29.360 the doors to the Speaker's lobby at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, blasting them for

00:15:33.520 allowing rioters to smash the windows and not calling for backup.

00:15:38.420 An analysis of a new journalist's video shows the analysis comes on the heels of recent

00:15:43.420 disclosures that Babbitt tried at least four times to stop the assault on the Speaker's

00:15:49.520 lobby.

00:15:50.200 It shows her desperation when rioters were left unchecked, even smashing a window just

00:15:54.820 inches from a police officer's head.

00:15:57.180 In the video shot by independent journalist Taylor Hanson, Babbitt, 35, is seen trailing

00:16:02.200 rioter Zachary Allum, attempting to go between him and one of the three police officers at

00:16:07.680 the Speaker's lobby's double doors.

00:16:10.280 Babbitt tried to get in between Allum and one of the other officers.

00:16:13.940 She said something to Allum, but he brushed her off.

00:16:16.420 She said, call for help.

00:16:18.360 She said, we're allowed to be here.

00:16:20.160 Then, when they wouldn't call for help, Babbitt can be heard yelling, take it down, meaning

00:16:24.940 that she wanted the people to calm down.

00:16:27.160 You could tell that she was getting upset, Hanson said.

00:16:29.580 Go and look at this video.

00:16:30.740 Ashley Babbitt was not part of the violent mob.

00:16:35.600 She shows up with one other protester, and then they're calmly talking to police, and

00:16:41.280 then a mob comes over and starts attacking the doorways.

00:16:45.300 This was not shown previously.

00:16:48.560 So this is something that I think really changes the way we should look at this situation.

00:16:54.220 Man, you are covered.

00:16:57.400 I thought I was bad.

00:16:58.660 You got it way worse.

00:16:59.660 Hey, do you need water or something there?

00:17:05.200 So you see her standing there.

00:17:06.680 She's talking to the police officer.

00:17:08.080 She's being very calm.

00:17:09.000 She's not attacking anyone, clearly.

00:17:11.160 Now, obviously, she's protesting, but she's not being violent.

00:17:15.240 And that's key here.

00:17:16.160 Because moments later, just a few moments later, she is shot and killed by Lieutenant Michael

00:17:22.880 Burt, who apparently is standing right on the other side of the door from them, right through

00:17:27.200 the glass, watching all of this, right?

00:17:29.580 So a few moments later, what happens?

00:17:32.240 Okay, the mob shows up.

00:17:33.480 She then starts yelling at the mob. 0.97

00:17:35.040 She yells, stop. 1.00

00:17:36.140 She says, don't do this.

00:17:37.600 But of course, we do see in the video that once the glass is broken, she then climbs up

00:17:44.160 and tries to go through the window.

00:17:45.480 At that point, Lieutenant Michael Byrd reaches forward with his gun, shoots and kills her.

00:17:49.480 Why then, if she wasn't participating in the violence prior to this, did she go through

00:17:54.660 the window?

00:17:55.540 Her husband has come forward with the way he's viewing the situation.

00:18:00.200 He said, I believe she saw the action as odd or off.

00:18:04.520 She was a take charge kind of person.

00:18:06.320 I've only seen bits and pieces of it, but I can hear the confused panic in her voice.

00:18:11.180 I knew something was off from that whole situation.

00:18:13.940 And when I look at it and I'm reviewing the footage, she probably got claustrophobic because 0.66

00:18:18.720 more and more people kept pouring in and she realized she was in a bad situation, surrounded

00:18:23.100 by violent rioters.

00:18:24.220 So she then pushed her way over to the window area to try to escape the riot. 1.00

00:18:30.560 Was Ashley Babbitt trying to escape the mob and run to officers for help and for safety

00:18:37.640 to get away from a violent mob?

00:18:41.100 I think a lot of people need to look down really hard at this situation and understand what happened

00:18:47.980 here.

00:18:48.720 Well, the 5G rollout that was supposed to happen this week has been an unmitigated disaster.

00:18:58.040 The telecoms, the airlines are in a tailspin.

00:19:01.460 Yeah, I said it.

00:19:02.300 I said it.

00:19:02.900 They're in a tailspin.

00:19:04.320 But listen to this.

00:19:05.320 Boeing shares tank 3.5% after a firm admits it's 777 and 787 planes are vulnerable to interference

00:19:13.600 from 5G signals, wipes $5 billion off the company's value in a single day.

00:19:19.900 What else?

00:19:20.960 Emirates president has slammed the 5G rollout saying that is the most delinquent mess he's

00:19:27.640 seen in his entire career.

00:19:29.560 He's blaming Secretary Pete for doing nothing to stop the chaos after dozens of flights were

00:19:36.080 canceled.

00:19:36.540 AT&T and Verizon launched their 5G network across America, turning on 4,500 new towers.

00:19:42.640 But the network has not yet been launched near some U.S. airports due to concerns over

00:19:47.860 safety.

00:19:48.740 Now, you've got this from Emirates, Air India, Japan Airlines, Al Nippon.

00:19:53.540 They are all canceling flights over this 5G issue.

00:19:57.480 Secretary Pete, where are you at on this?

00:20:00.300 He's off the radar.

00:20:02.020 He's AWOL.

00:20:02.880 You can't find this guy.

00:20:04.520 Nowhere to be found.

00:20:05.620 Open skies over the DOT.

00:20:09.200 And does this really surprise us?

00:20:11.340 So apparently, we now find out on the day that it was supposed to launch, that apparently

00:20:16.740 these new 5G towers here in the U.S., which are different, they actually have different

00:20:22.600 frequencies, different settings than the ones in the EU and the ones that are used worldwide,

00:20:28.940 apparently don't work with Boeing 777s and 787s.

00:20:34.120 Do you think that deconfliction could have been something that Secretary Pete or anybody

00:20:39.580 in the government may have wanted to take a look at before they launched this thing out

00:20:43.540 if they're $81 billion were spent on this entire infrastructure project?

00:20:49.300 So go listen to Secretary Pete try to explain what exactly is going on here. 0.99

00:20:53.620 The FAA's bottom line has to be safety.

00:20:56.120 And obviously, even one catastrophic accident out of a million is unacceptable.

00:21:03.200 So as you can imagine, there is a lot of complex analysis and a lot of rigor that goes

00:21:08.300 into this.

00:21:08.760 This has been a subject of a lot of discussion for quite a while.

00:21:12.520 And in particular, I appreciate the wireless carriers being willing to work with us to help

00:21:17.360 get the kind of data that's going to be needed so that these two technologies can coexist safely.

00:21:22.120 And I'm convinced that they can.

00:21:23.960 How long will this assessment period last?

00:21:26.100 Even overnight, FAA was able to generate a lot of analyses that allow more aircraft to

00:21:31.060 operate without as many restrictions.

00:21:32.920 And they're going to continue that work until we have a complete level of confidence that

00:21:37.660 the 5G deployment and all flight operations are going to be safe side by side, whatever

00:21:42.680 that takes.

00:21:43.620 So yeah, this is absolutely amazing, right?

00:21:45.540 You know, and you think about it too, the radio spectrum is one of those things where we've

00:21:49.960 generally decided that we should have some ability, some governance for people to come in and

00:21:56.440 say, look, obviously we can't have confliction in these areas because if cell phone signals

00:22:01.600 and 5G signals are trying to go out in the same bands, the same frequency bands as the

00:22:07.000 airplane radios or, you know, these guidance instructions, right?

00:22:11.240 This is why we're told we're not allowed to have our cell phones on to the plane, right?

00:22:14.580 You know, that's going to be coming up next.

00:22:17.300 But nobody even looked at it.

00:22:18.740 Not a single person in government who's supposed to have this job is sitting there going, yeah,

00:22:26.280 wonder if this 5G...

00:22:27.200 No.

00:22:27.400 So anybody who mentions 5G gets written off, was attacked for years, right?

00:22:32.720 And of course, we all know who paid for those attacks.

00:22:35.440 You get written off, but now the airports are being shut down.

00:22:39.100 The airplanes are being shut down.

00:22:40.340 They say, oh, we can, you know, you can take a 777 or a 787 out of the sky by turning

00:22:44.720 on a 5G tower.

00:22:45.940 Great job, Secretary Pete.

00:22:47.720 Great, wonderful job.

00:22:49.640 You're definitely in line for a promotion.

00:22:52.660 That's it for us here at Human Events Daily.

00:22:55.480 Folks, remember, our motto to you, be good, be brief, be gone.

00:22:59.400 And now your homework, I say this every day, go be the influence agent.

00:23:13.660 It really helps us out with the rankings.

00:23:14.840 But before I leave you, we've got a very important moment of history today.

00:23:20.120 Now, today is the one-year anniversary of the Biden administration.

00:23:22.320 But if you go back, 1981, January 20th, the last day of Jimmy Carter's presidency, the start

00:23:30.760 of President Reagan's presidency, but most importantly, the day that the 52 American hostages were let

00:23:38.260 go from the U.S. Embassy in Tehran after 444 days held by the Islamic Republic.

00:23:47.260 Our history is important.

00:23:49.640 That's why they don't teach it to us.

00:23:52.480 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay short.
