Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - JUN 20 2022 - MASS SHOOTING AT JUNETEENTH CONCERT IN DC

00:00:00.000 so i've got a huge problem coming up in a couple of weeks what is that

00:00:06.180 trial of steve bannon july 18th happening here in washington dc this very same week the student

00:00:13.820 action summit coming up tampa florida that thursday july 22nd to the 24th so what do i do

00:00:21.440 do i stay in dc and cover bannon or do i leave someone behind head down and say i'm going to

00:00:26.840 figure this out folks i'm going to figure this one out because i got to do both i got it look when

00:00:31.860 when you're jack posobic when you're running human events daily sometimes things like this occur so

00:00:37.420 if it doesn't get postponed we get the trial of bannon the same week as the student action summit

00:00:41.400 and i'll tell you one thing right now i am not going to miss the student action summit that is

00:00:46.140 tampa florida 22nd to 24th you've got president trump who is going to be there governor ron de santis

00:01:14.560 events daily powered by turning point usa today's june 20th 2022 adeno domine today's headlines a mass

00:01:21.400 shooting at a juneteenth celebration in washington dc just last night next a texas newspaper has a

00:01:29.040 story out that uvalde police according to surveillance footage apparently never tried to open the door

00:01:35.520 to the classroom where ramos was inside shooting students next the world swimming organization has

00:01:43.580 banned biological men from women's events and finally russia attacking u.s-backed fighters in

00:01:50.800 syria at an american outpost huge news show today all this more head human events daily

00:01:55.800 since mochelle ended early

00:02:09.480 there they go look man they shooting man they shooting man they shooting look

00:02:17.960 they shooting

00:02:20.920 well at a juneteenth event just last night here in the city of washington dc our nation's capital

00:02:49.720 by the way mass shooting broke out and in fact as we watch some of the videos and i went through

00:02:55.460 watching these videos last night it almost appears as there's multiple iterations of shooting at this

00:03:01.580 event because at that point in the video you just watched for example the police are already there

00:03:06.640 guys are already filming it looks as though um it's in the aftermath of one of the initial shootings

00:03:12.400 then there's a response shooting that seems to have taken place but as of right now as we sit

00:03:17.180 one teenager was killed three adults including a police officer uh were injured and this according

00:03:23.280 foxnews.com so it also says that a spokesperson for the metropolitan police department told fox news

00:03:28.740 that four people were shot at the mochella event which was a music event being held in dc for the

00:03:35.160 juneteenth commemoration including one police officer who did not return fire because it was a crowded

00:03:40.820 area police chief conti said later the victims included a 15 year old who was pronounced dead at the scene

00:03:47.480 two adults and the officer the mpd officer was shot in a lower extremity and is expected to survive

00:03:54.080 the adults were transported to a local hospital i think i saw that they uh something where they're

00:03:57.880 saying that the officer was shot in the foot uh they confirmed that a juvenile male who was shot

00:04:02.780 this is at u street northwest did not survive is now deceased um officer is recovering okay there's just

00:04:08.680 some more articles on it the event itself was an unpermitted event took place at 6 p.m in connection

00:04:15.080 with mochella which is described as an advocacy festival amplifying the culture of washington dc

00:04:22.700 folks what's going on in our cities right so we've got this new holiday we've got juneteenth

00:04:30.920 right and juneteenth as some people say it commemorates the end of slavery although juneteenth

00:04:35.540 wasn't the actual end of slavery that came much later with the ratification of the 13th amendment

00:04:40.640 um juneteenth was only the end of slavery in the confederacy the final state of which would be in

00:04:45.800 the state of texas so in uh in 1865 june 19th that was the last confederate state to end slavery but

00:04:53.320 slavery still continued in the north for several uh several more months and then eventually the

00:04:57.580 13th amendment was ratified that being said the shooting took place in dc it's like we have these

00:05:06.140 celebrations we have fun and games food and circuses bread and circuses and yet we can't seem to do

00:05:14.520 anything about our crime problem we can't seem to do anything to actually help the people who are alive

00:05:19.920 you know today we'll celebrate things that took place in the past we'll talk endlessly about them

00:05:24.280 we'll debate about them we'll argue we'll say you know it's it should be a new independence day at a

00:05:30.060 second independence day for america it's it's really this this you know july 4th doesn't go far enough

00:05:35.320 because 1776 we sell it slavery so you have to go all the way to juneteenth and we'll argue this back

00:05:40.480 and forth and yet we'll argue and argue about things that happened hundreds of years ago but we won't talk

00:05:48.140 about things that are happening in our cities right now we won't talk about things that are and i guarantee

00:05:53.500 you by the way i guarantee you this story will be out of the news cycle by you know probably the end

00:05:59.600 of the week it's probably out of the news cycle already right there was an assassination attempt

00:06:04.400 at a u.s supreme court justice's home a couple of days ago nicholas roski was his name yet if you ask

00:06:11.140 people say hey who's nicholas roski heard of this guy no one can even tell you who he is they won't tell

00:06:17.460 you about the mass shootings that are going on in all american cities every single weekend they won't

00:06:24.300 tell you about the homicide rates that have been ticking up since 2013 what could it be what movement

00:06:31.260 got started in 2013 in the wake of ferguson in the wake of freddie gray right well freddie gray came

00:06:37.800 later right what movement could it have been that led to the attack on police officers the lack of policing

00:06:44.480 in these cities and the rise of the homicide rates but we don't talk about it we don't talk about it

00:06:49.960 because it's not politically correct and elected conservatives and just like officials in general

00:06:54.340 they're scared to talk about it we want a country where people can be safe you want to celebrate

00:07:01.700 something go celebrate right but we want criminals off the street so that they can do so safely so that

00:07:09.580 families all families right but you know all lives matter etc we want everyone to be safe that's the

00:07:15.460 point of prosecuting crime in our cities well disney's latest woke train wreck the buzz lightyear film

00:07:26.060 has collapsed at the box office uh not only did they add a bunch of woke scenes and woke characters

00:07:32.520 but they canceled tim allen who's a conservative from playing uh buzz lightyear which we all know

00:07:39.060 tim allen is the voice of buzz lightyear they've just always been like that for something like 20

00:07:43.000 years 20 plus years they won't do it anymore why because disney doesn't care disney has gone woke and

00:07:49.060 this is get woke go broke across the country americans are discovering that if you want to change the

00:07:54.800 nation you have to fight it economically this is economic warfare woke corporations they're dividing us

00:08:00.840 the banks are freezing the accounts of people who disagree with their views you people you have people

00:08:05.380 who refuse to talk to people who have different views anymore and our supply chains are becoming more

00:08:09.500 dependent on countries that work against our values like the people's republic of china it is time for

00:08:15.420 a change and that change starts with you and your wallet that is why human events daily is proud to

00:08:20.520 partner with public square public square is the largest directory of freedom loving businesses our nation

00:08:50.280 download it today public square public sq economic warfare take action

00:08:54.960 so over the weekend this story popped and the post millennial has it up uh total write-up of it

00:09:22.160 but there's a story being reported out of a local newspaper san antonio express news down there in

00:09:27.800 southern texas that they have a law enforcement source who claims that in the investigation into

00:09:34.260 the evaldi shooting we're not going to let this story go away because obviously this was a horrific

00:09:38.720 crime that took place in one of our communities something that we don't want to happen anywhere

00:09:43.240 right the targeting and killing of children in a schoolhouse certainly not texas or anywhere else

00:09:48.760 they now have surveillance footage of this according to the report and that due to a possible

00:09:55.600 malfunction with the door locks inside the doors to the classrooms i want to be very specific about

00:10:01.880 this what they're saying the doors to the classrooms where shooter salvador ramos killed nearly two dozen

00:10:07.520 people mainly children may have been unlocked the entire time officers were inside the building

00:10:14.320 and yet officers did not try to open the door earlier in the standoff now what are they going

00:10:20.820 through on this what are they what are they seeing according to the report surveillance footage from

00:10:25.440 inside the building revealed that officers did not make an attempt to enter the doors of classrooms

00:10:30.220 111 and 112 where ramos injured or killed the victims of the rob elementary school shooting

00:10:37.520 according to the timeline as we now know it ramos enters rob elementary at 11 33 and remember there

00:10:44.400 was that story remember that story about the teacher propping a door open but now of course the teachers

00:10:50.360 come out and said that no she did close the door that it wasn't propped open but that there was a 0.99

00:10:54.860 malfunction with the door right what does this mean there's a security system inside the schoolhouse

00:11:01.140 which may which maintains that all doors electronically automatically lock when you close them and the

00:11:08.400 idea is supposed to be that you can't reopen them then without a pass so whether you're uh one of the

00:11:13.500 external doors like the teacher was at me um you know steps out to take a call steps up to have a

00:11:19.040 cigarette etc right you would need to prop it open to get right back inside if you didn't want to use

00:11:23.840 your pass or right you would then go right back in but if it didn't if it didn't lock electronically

00:11:30.980 then could there have actually been this is something that apparently the police are investigating right

00:11:35.400 now was there a malfunction with the doors on the day of the shooting now obviously the next question

00:11:44.400 would be that if there was a malfunction with this because like think of it right if the electronic

00:11:49.660 system was supposed to automatically lock the doors when they shut how was it that the shooter was able

00:11:56.960 to enter classrooms 111 and 112 because this doesn't just apply to the external doors it applies

00:12:02.840 to the internal doors so that if you close those doors during school hours and during a class you're

00:12:09.100 supposed to have to have a pass to be able to open the doors yet somehow after the shooter he bypasses

00:12:15.080 that first door he goes in from outside to inside now he's inside now he's looking to get into the

00:12:20.540 classroom remember the devil's in the details with these things he's still able to get into room 111

00:12:26.200 and 112 and these rooms by the way are also apparently connected by a connecting bathroom

00:12:32.140 they have jack and jill bathrooms and so he's able to access them internally through the bathroom but

00:12:37.640 but how did he gain access to the rooms themselves if the rooms are supposed to be automatically

00:12:44.900 locked that's number one and obviously that needs to be investigated and we need to find out

00:12:50.180 what went wrong with the security system but here's number two the obvious question then becomes

00:12:55.620 if the doors were unlocked and the shooter was able to get in then why was it that the police had to

00:13:03.720 wait and depending on how you count 77 minutes in total or 40 minutes from when they first arrived

00:13:08.820 why did they need to wait for a pass key to go into the room where the shooter was right this obviously

00:13:18.020 shows not only a breakdown in communication but really just a breakdown in overall security

00:13:24.500 overall systems overall processes because when you have one of these catastrophic events

00:13:29.660 it always starts small and it might be right you might just be able to go back and you know play devil's

00:13:35.840 advocate here right and so for purpose of discussion we'll say let's say there was an economic

00:13:40.720 malfunction which is according to the san antonio express news is what they're investigating

00:13:45.040 when electronic malfunction might not seem like a big thing at first but then when you add on top

00:13:51.760 of that the doors aren't locking and then you add on top of it you've got this crazy kid with a gun

00:13:56.880 who's coming down the street he's shot his grandmother stole her truck now he's crashed it creating a

00:14:01.800 diversion now he's going in you have cascading failure and that's what happened here so in any

00:14:08.520 investigation like this you have to get the facts and then work your way backwards to fix every problem

00:14:14.360 along the chain well the wall street journal is reporting that authorities in california have

00:14:22.740 uncovered an entirely new category of crime it's called crime tourism and apparently criminals from

00:14:29.180 south america are coming to the united states on tourist visas burglarizing homes and taking the loot 0.85

00:14:35.640 back down over the border sadly being prepared is now a necessity and we've seen the crime from

00:14:42.260 shootings in dc to shootings in every major city and even spilling over into the suburbs thankfully now

00:15:48.960 how does it make you feel when you think about the fact that you're the first transgender person

00:15:56.520 to ever win an ncaa division one championship i'm very humbled and honored to to hold that title

00:16:05.080 um and i can only hope that i'm able to give other trans people the inspiration and motivation i was given

00:16:15.340 so there's been a lot of discussion lately as to whether or not we're experiencing a rightward shift

00:16:22.700 in the west are we in the midst of a rightward shift and you can look at a few things like you

00:16:27.740 can look at polling of course um going into the midterms polling for presidential approval

00:16:33.300 um johnny depp winning his defamation case against amber heard right the downfall of me too

00:16:39.860 hashtag men too people are saying and then you also look at something like this this next story and

00:16:44.840 you ask are we experiencing a rightward shift or as i would say we're actually experiencing a shift

00:16:51.200 closer to the middle because we used to essentially be in at least in the united states a center right

00:16:57.260 country like that's that's basically who we were a center right country center right uh society and yet

00:17:02.740 along came the left starting with the sexual revolution in the 60s and then that expands out through the 90s

00:17:09.420 and then it keeps going and going and going through 2013 when they start actually going after the police

00:17:15.060 and saying no well no it's the police's fault and we should actually be able to commit crimes right

00:17:19.680 we've experienced this massive massive leftward shift and so yes we are shifting to the right but

00:17:26.320 only in the sense that we're shifting back to the middle back to the original beginning point of a

00:17:31.660 center right country in the center right western hemisphere so where are we getting to right the fina

00:17:37.300 so the fina is the federation that administers international water sports competitions they

00:17:43.800 released new rules just yesterday that ban men who identify as transgender from competing against

00:17:51.020 women post-millennial has the story the new fina rules stipulate that a man who identifies as trans

00:17:57.580 as a transgender woman can only compete against biological women if they completed their transition

00:18:04.900 before the age of 12 and then continually and consistently suppressed their testosterone and you

00:18:12.220 realize how politically correct we are at this point that you have to make some kind of scientific

00:18:15.960 uh hormonal argument to be able to be talking about this because obviously the issue then would be that

00:18:21.680 if you're taking testosterone right as a as a uh as a as an athlete right that's a performance enhancing drug

00:18:29.540 obviously right so this would be something that would be banned for anybody else that were was partaking

00:18:35.580 in competition you you can't do that right go to the olympics you can't take performance enhancing drugs

00:18:39.680 or they're checking you left left and right but because of political correctness and also because by the

00:18:45.260 way don't don't even think for a second don't even think for a second that big pharma is not looking

00:18:50.780 at the transition issue and realizing the billions with a b billions of dollars that are they are going

00:18:59.280 to be able to stand to reap the windfall if all of this goes through right they have a financial

00:19:05.860 incentive to support the transgender agenda because they are making money off people who transition 0.63

00:19:13.100 i'm just going to leave that out there the fina noted that an open category because of being so

00:19:19.300 careful as a landmine right it's a landmine or a minefield you know of all of these different

00:19:24.560 issues political correctness can we say this can we say that well they're going to set up an open

00:19:29.320 category for transgender athletes that don't meet the criteria for women's competition a working group

00:19:35.180 will determine over the next six months how these open divisions will be set up in the policy which

00:19:39.640 goes into effect today it writes that without eligibility standards based on biological sex

00:19:45.700 or sex link traits we are very unlikely to see biological females in finals on podiums or in 1.00

00:19:52.200 championship positions and in sports and events involving collisions and projectiles biological

00:19:57.120 female athletes would be at greater risk of injury oh my goodness the fina is coming out saying that

00:20:04.120 biology is real science is real research is real data is real empirical reality is real that if you

00:20:12.300 are a biological male you are going to have a greater amount of physical strength than a biological

00:20:18.800 female on average if you are a professional athlete that being said i'm in washington dc and most of the

00:20:26.460 bio i think they're biological males that are around in this city they don't seem like the regular 1.00

00:20:32.560 biological males that you might meet i don't know just walking down the street anywhere else my parents

00:20:36.680 are visiting texas right now plenty of biological males in texas no question about that you walk around

00:20:42.280 dc you're like i think that's more like a biological you know pear-shaped soy amorphous blob mass of a

00:20:49.620 person not exactly sure if that would be allowed to compete in women's water sports 0.88

00:20:54.600 what's interesting about this too to me is the idea that um you got so many people who want you to

00:21:03.480 to do something about assad first you're smiling you've heard it so often and yet when you press

00:21:11.100 when you press the elected officials and say what do you want to do about assad take him out is that

00:21:17.180 what you want me to do tell me how this ends charlie you know if if you're senator charlie rose tell me

00:21:22.960 how it ends charlie and there's president biden right what do we do about assad what do you want

00:21:27.280 me to do i'm gonna take him out i'm gonna take him out man well you know you're taking yourself out 0.94

00:21:32.300 on bike rides in rehoboth beach delaware i don't think you're going to be taking out right the leader of

00:21:38.240 syria anytime soon by the way the previous administration the obama administration right

00:21:43.320 tried for years to take out assad how did that go not so well by funding by the way so what they

00:21:49.700 what were they doing right we've got this story russia attacks u.s backed fighters in syria at

00:21:54.540 american outpost and there's an airstrike but then just just take the whole thing back for a second

00:21:59.500 it's just like ukraine just like in syria why do we have u.s fighters and also u.s soldiers and u.s

00:22:08.840 outposts in syria so just like ukraine you have to go back you have to go back a decade to understand

00:22:16.380 what's going but 2011 in this case for syria why do we have this it was called operation timber

00:22:22.960 sycamore what's operation timber sycamore you might add it was ended by president trump by the way

00:22:28.100 operation timber sycamore was a regime change operation authorized by barack obama vice president

00:22:35.300 of the time jill biden secretary of state at the time hillary ron clinton they authorized

00:22:41.700 the overthrow of assad and what were they going to do to um to achieve this senator john mccain

00:22:49.920 senator lindsey graham senator marco rubio a bunch of these people went over there and they said

00:22:54.080 we found moderate rebels and the moderate rebels are ones that we are going to train

00:22:59.340 to fight assad and get him out of power so you started and you exacerbated a civil war within

00:23:07.380 syria a decade ago at this point a decade ago and for some reason just some interesting reason this

00:23:15.660 isis group is then created because what are we doing we're sending money in there we're sending

00:23:21.260 weapons in there isis comes out of this so then we say oh we've got to send u.s troops over there

00:23:26.600 to fight isis but at the same time those same u.s troops are still training these quote-unquote

00:23:33.760 moderate totally not jihadist rebels totally not connected to isis in any way rebels in syria

00:23:40.940 because we know because we're so smart and we're so good at foreign policy so we've still got those

00:23:46.280 troops on the ground right now president trump tried to pull them out didn't work they lied to him

00:23:49.820 essentially the pentagon at one point said they're all gone then they refused and they told no hr

00:23:53.780 mcmaster general mcmaster the national security advisor told the president he wasn't allowed to

00:23:58.200 do this by the way hr mcmaster's got a piece out in foreign policy that says all of this is half all of

00:24:23.740 other people's business because we are mucking around and mucking up in parts of the world that

00:24:30.400 we have no business being into we have no understanding of the thousands of years of history

00:24:35.920 of the conflicts that go back these are blood conflicts that go back hundreds and thousands of

00:24:43.120 years we have no purpose for being there we have no strategic national interest for being there

00:26:04.920 purchase it from the russian empire what was the issue here the issue was we were so worried the

00:26:11.520 americans at the time were so worried about england potentially coming in taking that territory from the

00:26:17.380 united states remember just two years after this in 1967 1867 two years before the end of the civil war

00:26:23.780 there were persistent rumors and a lot of documentation to back this up that england almost came into the war

00:26:41.740 and the uh the british empire at the same time the russian empire on the other hand intervened on

00:26:47.240 behalf of the north by parking their navy off the coast of san francisco the purchase of the alaskan
