00:01:23.080 events daily powered by turning point usa today's june 28th 2022 anno domini today's headlines digital

00:01:30.360 world board members have been subpoenaed over trump's truth social app more lawfare we're going

00:01:36.680 to dig into that next the new york supreme court striking down a law allowing non-citizens to vote

00:01:42.060 should never have even been considered third this is an interesting update the nigerian governor

00:01:48.180 is ordering mass issuance of gun permits to counter murderous hordes come back three weeks ago we

00:01:56.160 talked about this and then finally former trump lawyer john eastman says federal agents unlawfully

00:02:02.840 seized his cell phone all this more ahead human events daily

00:02:05.660 we don't have free speech in america go out and sign up now for truth social who's on truth social

00:02:23.920 doing good it's great it's hot all right now this is one of those stories that gets a little bit

00:02:30.500 procedural so bear with me as we go into it digital world acquisitions group what is that that's the

00:02:37.160 company that merged with truth social and truth media to create the trump media and technology group

00:02:43.680 right so the idea was that the merger is going to happen by the end of the year however subpoenas

00:02:49.320 are going out subpoenas are going out across this board to the board members because the sec

00:02:56.560 apparently has launched an investigation again this every time right every time trump tries to do

00:03:02.660 something every time anything has trump's name to it there's always some investigation there's always

00:03:08.340 some lawsuit and then it ends up being right it ends up all turning into something and i love you get

00:03:14.720 all these wine ants out there the same ones that are trying to still there are still people watching

00:03:19.400 the january 6 committee hearings i i guarantee you they're actually still that's it's like the stay at

00:03:24.380 home wine ants with their their their coterie of cats and not young cats but old cats like old mangy cats

00:03:31.800 and they're just sitting there watching this stuff so they will then sit there again and they will be

00:03:36.620 sitting there watching okay so the the the da and the sec and then and then and then because the stock

00:03:43.920 option and the price and the issuance what you need to stop all right you just need to stop

00:03:51.580 this stuff we understand what's going on we talked about it last week it's called the

00:03:56.760 de-trumpification project they are attempting to institute a de-trumpification of america

00:04:03.000 they want him and his entire movement the maga movement gone they want it gone from the united states

00:04:10.180 they want it gone from the halls of power and they want it gone from polite society they don't want

00:04:17.320 you to ever be able to admit in public that you were a trump supporter right that's why all the law

00:04:24.980 fair from them from their perspective is necessary so i can look into this and i can say look you know

00:04:31.340 the company has said earlier postmanial has the article the u.s securities and exchange commission

00:04:36.020 and the financial industry regulatory agency has sought more information into the merger the latest

00:04:40.740 subpoenas into digital world sought the same documents as the sec probe as well as requests relating to

00:04:45.720 the company's s1 filings now as i always have to say because we do have to look at this from both

00:04:52.360 sides right the filings need to be done correctly right a lot of people at the time said this was a

00:04:58.840 money grab that this was that it was never going to work the truth social wasn't going to go anywhere

00:05:03.020 well i gotta tell you something i use true true social every day what do i do every day i use twitter

00:05:09.300 telegram getter true social little bit of instagram i'm not i'm not super all over the instagram my wife

00:05:16.500 is you want to go follow her tanya tape sovic she's all over the instagram for me though it's really those

00:05:21.960 big four it's really those big four and i have to say the true social some people have said what it was

00:05:27.660 fake right it was just going to be a money grab it wasn't going to be a big thing or a real thing

00:05:31.480 it's real it's a real thing it's actually there and we will see we will see so as always right no

00:05:39.800 charges have been filed yet so please don't get don't get over your skis on this thing but

00:05:44.660 when we get a situation like this what do we do right what do we do we don't do what Ari Melber does

00:05:51.880 at msnbc what rachel maddow used to do before she absconded right she was the chief rat fleeing the 1.00

00:05:58.260 ship of msnbc she used to be right you know she was like the you know the she was the brains of 1.00

00:06:04.200 the operation right of the progressive left she's gone now she's going to be doing like uh like the 1.00

00:06:09.180 west wing reboot or something making fiction movies right but we're not going to sit here and endlessly

00:06:15.100 speculate but we're going to say is simply this show us the evidence show us the evidence because i've

00:06:23.200 been saying the same thing to the january 6th committee since the moment they started remember we had

00:06:28.020 the january 6th committee but before that we had the house hearings before that we actually had an

00:06:31.700 impeachment right there's a whole impeachment of president trump over january 6th that was done

00:06:38.120 without any investigation right so now this individual uh the sergeant arms we found has died last night

00:06:46.460 no information on that we know but we do know that he talked about professional agitators right

00:06:50.760 but there's no investigation into that because they were trying to show us evidence of a quote-unquote

00:06:57.000 criminal conspiracy into january 6th that never existed it simply never existed so it was an

00:07:04.520 investigation in search of a crime and because we've seen these again and again and again with

00:07:11.000 anything involving president trump i always say remain skeptical and ask for the evidence

00:07:17.080 we've seen the list of all the woke corporations out there

00:07:23.060 that have decided that they are going to fund their employees to go out of state to travel to get

00:07:30.680 abortions are those the kind of companies that you want to support with your dollars it's time for 1.00

00:07:37.980 economic nationalism and maybe even a little bit of economic warfare that's why you have to support

00:07:44.700 a company that i support and human events is partnering with called patriot mobile patriot mobile is not

00:07:50.360 just america's only christian conservative cell phone provider they are one of the only few companies

00:08:00.080 great service plus the peace of mind that your money is combating the left's attempts to silence you

00:08:25.240 patriot mobile does they're not like one of these other companies out there that's paying for abortions

00:08:29.200 go and support patriot mobile vote with your dollars patriot mobile.com slash poso patriot mobile.com

00:08:35.880 slash poso link in the description

00:08:37.780 doesn't the bill just make a mockery of the idea of american citizenship though i mean this is just for

00:08:44.280 local elections but does that mean like next uh new york city is going to want non-citizens to vote in

00:08:50.040 federal elections i mean and what do you say to all the people who went through the process the

00:08:54.420 difficult process of becoming an american citizen studying for the test swearing an oath of allegiance to

00:09:00.600 the united states of america who who now see this legislation just saying well anyone who's here go ahead and vote

00:09:06.540 uh well i tell to i say to them keep doing it uh you know membership has its privileges

00:09:13.240 uh being a member of what we call united states of america is a great privilege and i i would tell them

00:09:20.140 keep doing it be encouraged uh this is a great opportunity to be a member of this great country

00:09:26.140 uh don't let anything daunt you or take you away from that mission uh this legislation is not going to

00:09:31.780 do that keep becoming a citizen of this country so that's new york mayor eric adams and jake taper

00:09:38.200 over there discussing a bill this bill which allowed for non-citizens would have allowed for

00:09:45.880 non-citizens to vote in the city of new york this bill has been struck down by the supreme court no not

00:09:52.620 the federal supreme court though of course we've been seeing a string of w's at the federal supreme court

00:09:58.100 no this was the new york supreme court and even in a liberal state a blue state a bastion blue state

00:10:04.100 like new york this law was struck down because it was egregiously unconstitutional and egregiously

00:10:11.260 unlawful you cannot allow here's a problem that i have with actually a lot of problems with this but

00:10:17.960 but we're going to talk about one direct problem that i have here the term illegal immigrants or some

00:10:25.180 people don't even use that anymore they'll just say migrants well when you're looking at it from

00:10:29.420 a legal perspective right an immigrant is someone who follows a legal process to come into the united

00:10:37.280 states right that's someone that's gone through that legal transition my wife is an immigrant in the

00:10:42.580 united states um no i'm not virtue signaling i'm just saying i'm familiar with the process right

00:10:47.500 and so when you look at this you have to say well you know these are people or sometimes people say

00:10:54.780 they're undocumented some people say undocumented but that's actually not true is it no it's not

00:10:59.640 because you are documented you are a citizen of the state in which you were born the state where

00:11:06.600 you're from so if you're a citizen of the state where you're from then that makes you a foreign 0.95

00:11:11.240 citizen so take everything that you just heard about this bill adams and taper discussing it right

00:11:18.980 and taper doing his little con man act of every once in a while pretending like he's objective

00:11:24.280 and serious before he you know drops another p-tape dossier on us or brings up uh michael avanati i

00:11:30.520 guess he can't bring on michael avanati anymore because avanati's in jail right but talking about

00:11:35.840 julie swetnick and lying about brett kavanaugh because that's what jake taper does right right

00:11:40.700 he'll play this little game every once in a while and and it isn't it is important to make uh mention

00:11:45.280 this from time to time that what jake taper does is that every once in a while every once in a while

00:11:51.360 he pretends like he just calls balls and strikes he's just an objective guy just a good journalist

00:11:55.960 he's really the really the you know you know you know the the last newsman in america but then

00:12:03.160 he'll throw something absolutely insane at you like a julie swetnick or a russiagate dossier

00:12:09.400 because that's who he is he's bought and sold he's completely bought and sold by the establishment

00:12:15.520 so anyway adams is up there talking about and of course he wants as many foreign citizens as he

00:12:20.580 can to vote because he assumes they're going to vote for him but here's the problem with that

00:12:24.060 from a legal perspective if you have a foreign citizen registered to vote in your country

00:12:30.260 then doesn't that constitute foreign influence in your country right let's say these were russians

00:12:36.360 right if this were russian citizens that had come in let's say they're in uh in florida right you know

00:12:42.620 there's a lot of russians in in miami sunny isle let's say all the russians that don't have

00:12:48.320 citizenship now are allowed to vote in the state of florida which also means they're allowed to vote

00:12:53.160 in the u.s presidential elections now i know florida isn't the biggest swing state when it comes to the

00:12:57.660 presidential election anymore it's more of a red state now but let's just say it was so would that

00:13:02.460 mean that in broward county that russian foreign citizens would control who is our president would 0.54

00:13:09.600 that be the same thing no of course not obviously no country would allow this no country that's serious

00:13:16.080 about quote-unquote democracy remember we were told that we have to defend democracy we have to do

00:13:22.260 everything everything possible to defend democracy well this isn't democracy 42 illegal immigrants 1.00

00:13:30.600 being abandoned in a truck that came across an open border in 102 degree heat in san antonio that's not

00:13:39.360 democracy that's blood on your hands for the president united states and bills like this they're not

00:13:44.980 democracy they're selling out american democracy

00:13:48.760 for the back run some flooring they start shooting somebody some people for leg from leg you get one

00:13:57.660 woman from back from face others shooting the leg shooting so and now father now escaping go inside

00:14:05.400 the house as that thing before the after then the soldiers before the before the the soldiers come

00:14:13.380 they don't escape that is that then no priest is inside finish the mask already the priest is

00:14:23.060 already on procession to come out then i get outside i was trying to even to say people please give

00:14:30.640 will this is coming then the man just came in well tomorrow like this he just shot gone straight to

00:14:35.660 the church right if they say hey me he will kill me so we looked it up three weeks ago i was taken

00:14:41.340 incoming all over twitter all over human events daily and why because we were talking about nigeria

00:14:49.800 and i was discussing the horrific atrocious church attack which took place right it was a catholic church

00:14:58.560 that was attacked something like 50 people were murdered and people were saying that's terrible

00:15:03.580 that's horrible that's awful that's so bad and i came up and said well why don't why don't they arm

00:15:09.160 the church goers and i said well i looked into the gun laws in nigeria and i saw that nigeria was a 0.97

00:15:15.660 strict gun regulation state and so i said it was pretty simple to me why don't we issue you're the

00:15:22.260 same guys who say oh well whenever there's one of these things all you conservatives ever say is just

00:15:26.980 thoughts and prayers thoughts and prayers is all you need right thoughts i said okay fine i'm going to

00:15:31.660 give you a solution my solution is arm the church goers give people a fighting chance not only to

00:15:38.780 defend themselves but uh more seriously here in the united states what you what happens in situations

00:15:44.200 like that is that you'll have volunteer security and you know depending on the size of the church you

00:15:48.660 might have one two three individuals who just kind of take turns you know if it's your mass if it's your

00:15:54.160 service you're going to go stand by the door you're going to be armed you're going to be ready

00:15:58.100 in case something happens you go in right you go in pull volunteers right you set this up because if

00:16:04.000 something happens like happened in southern springs texas right god forbid then you have the ability

00:16:10.360 to defend yourselves it's as simple as that and i took so much incoming so much incoming from far left

00:16:17.620 twitter from woke twitter they're saying what do you know you don't know anything about nigeria

00:16:21.600 that's completely different you have no idea what you're talking about that's crazy right and i said well

00:16:26.980 it looks like you've got you've got a terrorist problem nigeria you got rebels you've got bandits 0.95

00:16:31.220 right at least give people a chance to be able to defend themselves well lo and behold here we are

00:16:37.660 three weeks later and apparently the governor of zamfara state in nigeria apparently he must be a fan

00:16:47.500 of human events daily i guess he's sleeping with a my pillow every night too because this governor

00:16:52.860 what did he just say he has decided his citizens deserve at least a fighting chance against

00:16:59.360 formidable foes the governor has ordered the police commissioner to issue hundreds of licenses

00:17:05.880 in each of the state's 19 emirate subdivisions he stated government is ready to facilitate people

00:17:14.140 especially farmers to secure basic weapons for defending themselves perhaps betraying an affinity

00:17:21.500 for gun control even in as desperate a situation as that faced by nigerians this is from zero hedge

00:17:26.700 ap couldn't help but strike a skeptical tone this is the so and so here's how the associated press put

00:17:31.600 it it was not yet clear how arming citizens i have to do this in the announcer voice i'm sorry

00:17:37.580 associated press it was not yet clear how arming citizens would help prevent the attacks authorities

00:17:45.720 have admitted that even the nigerian police are sometimes overwhelmed during violent attacks i'm

00:17:53.380 sorry i guess i have to explain this again and i'm gonna say what i said here three weeks ago because

00:17:59.040 i remember it seared into my mind like a steel trap it's very simple right when bullets are flying in

00:18:06.600 your direction the only thing that's going to stop them is bullets flying in that direction the end

00:18:15.880 period full stop if the police are being overwhelmed then you've got to give them backup from the law

00:18:22.940 abiding peaceful citizen look you've got two groups of people right don't don't tell me about the

00:18:29.020 difference yeah i get it there's terrorists there's rebels there's bandits etc got it but you've got

00:18:33.600 essentially two groups of people you've got peaceful citizens and you've got criminals it's

00:18:38.820 like we can't even actually discuss people in terms of criminals anymore criminality right it's always

00:18:44.140 we have to know their backstory we have to unpack what's going on to deconstruct right their their

00:18:49.460 intentions and their motivation no they're criminals and they need to be dealt with like criminals

00:18:55.220 i'd like to see the warrant i'd like to see the warrant before you take my property

00:19:05.760 do you erase your text messages every day do you erase your emails every day well apparently you

00:19:18.440 probably should because the biden justice department and we talked about this last week here we see it

00:19:26.220 again they are going after anybody anybody even remotely connected to president trump they are going after

00:19:35.680 them they're seizing cell phone records they're seizing emails they're seizing text messages

00:19:41.400 and they're just going out in again i said this before this is an investigation in search of a crime

00:19:49.060 it's an investigation in search of a crime that's everything they're doing here so what happened

00:19:53.620 john eastman who was a lawyer for president trump right he's a senior fellow at the claremont institute

00:20:00.340 he was conducting legal activity and legal filings in court cases for president trump

00:20:10.220 related to the 2020 election now you might disagree with those court cases you might disagree with his

00:20:18.240 conclusions you might even disagree with his legal theories and guess what that's perfectly fine

00:20:25.500 because in the country we used to live in disagreement debate argument holding trials in court to find the

00:20:35.160 truth of things that's how we took care of business but that's not how we do things anymore

00:20:40.300 that's the old america in the new america biden's america what happens is you might be out to dinner

00:20:47.480 with your friends you might be out just having a nice time and then all of a sudden you get surrounded

00:20:53.900 by the fbi and they demand to see your phone and then they demand that they're going to take your phone

00:20:59.460 and that you have to unlock it or else you're going to be in even more trouble now i'm not going to say

00:21:05.320 that what happened to me in davos was the same thing as it happened to uh john eastman here was a

00:21:10.420 who was the president's lawyer but i remember that feeling i remember that feeling of i'm being surrounded

00:21:18.100 i've got agents around me in my case they were carrying long rifles nine millimeters right

00:21:25.320 asked us all to be frisked and then they started they got to the point they didn't seize any of our

00:21:30.140 stuff didn't take my phone or anything like that but they got to the point where they started to ask us

00:21:35.000 what are you doing here can we see your footage can we look at it and then they said they played this

00:21:41.900 little game of they were going to take one member of our crew and then separate him from the rest of us

00:21:48.400 and they said why don't you just come back to our van and and uh and and we can watch the footage

00:21:53.640 there and that'll be easier to see i said no no you're not going to be separating anybody you're

00:21:59.560 not going to be taking anyone apart from us i understand how this game works you take one person

00:22:04.060 away you question them separately then you take the other person away so that they other people can't

00:22:08.520 hear the answers because you want to see if there's any we're not we're not going down that line

00:22:12.680 all right we're not going down that road understand what time in the movie we're in what part in the

00:22:18.880 movie we're in we're in the part of the movie where the regime and you have to understand this

00:22:24.760 you were living under a regime they are trying to criminalize criminalize the opposition so when it

00:22:33.340 comes to this there's many ways to support uh john eastman i believe he has a give send go up you can

00:22:38.820 go check that out pierre navarro has one as well right these are dissidents now these are dissidents

00:22:46.000 to the regime they are freedom fighters this is not political anymore right it's not it's about

00:22:53.320 freedom are we going to live in a free country in a free state or are we going to live in a regime

00:23:00.560 choice is yours and that's all the time we have today for human events daily remember our promise

00:23:06.960 our oath our solemn vow to you be good be brief be gone your homework from us share this out with

00:23:12.920 one just one of your normie friends and then leave us your five star review apple spotify wherever you

00:23:18.320 get your podcast we talked about a lot today but mainly what do we get into the four headlines of the

00:23:23.480 day digital world board members getting subpoenaed over trump's truth social app next the new york

00:23:30.520 supreme court striking down a law allowing non-citizens foreign citizens to vote in your
