00:10:37.920You can't just say, oh, gosh, what if the tables were turned?0.95
00:10:41.680look at the hypocrisy. There's so much worse. No, you need to take action. Cliff, what's your0.83
00:10:47.240take seeing something as disgusting as this? One, it's vile. Two, when you diminish it or when you0.78
00:10:53.140don't respond at the same level, Jack, I mean, you give a mouse a cookie, they're going to want
00:10:57.200a glass of milk. When you let these things happen and we don't take action to say, hell no, you can't
00:11:02.600do this. This is a threat. Like you said, we have to be at that same level. And so, you know, one,
00:11:08.200Let's start off by saying I do think that most people in this country would see that and say that is a sick, disgusting human being to wear a shirt like that.0.97
00:11:17.060Right. I do. I'm not calling all Democrats to say, hey, you know, they support that.0.99
00:11:20.960But when you see these radicals, they have to be exposed.
00:11:24.380I mean, everybody should be talking about this woman and she should she should literally be arrested.0.67
00:11:30.060I mean, that is a threat voters. She is threatening your threat.1.00
00:11:33.060And by the way, even if it wasn't a poll worker, if anybody was out there doing something, if you were just a member of Antifa,0.76
00:11:38.200that was standing out there, or as you remember from Philly, we had the new Black Panthers
00:11:41.500in front of one of our polling stations back in 2008, charges, by the way, that Holder magically
00:11:47.180made go away, the whole case that he made go away after Obama won, that story for another day,
00:11:53.020that you need to fight fire with fire. This is a violent threat against voters. And by the way,
00:12:00.740if someone were out there from Antifa doing it, I would say the same thing if the new Black0.96
00:12:04.600Panthers were out there doing it. And Cliff, we keep hearing about the how it's Republicans trying0.96
00:12:09.720to shut down and intimidate voters and all this. And the only people I could ever find evidence of
00:12:14.980doing it are the left. It's always the left. And it's always the left trying to blame us for the
00:12:21.200things that they're actually doing. They try to accuse us of certain things. And at the end of
00:12:25.600the day, they always turn it back. And it's like, oh, no, it was actually you that was doing that.
00:12:29.780And so when you talk about fascists, this fun word they like to use, when you talk about,
00:12:33.680you know this oh we we want to protect our democracy how is it protecting democracy
00:12:38.940to have a poll worker wearing a shirt that says problem solved representing the death of charlie
00:12:45.020kirk his assassination that in no way is protecting democracy and we must call out the left for this
00:12:51.580no we have we absolutely do and and again it's about taking action if and if you're at one of
00:12:57.060these pick up the mic events and i've done a number of them and someone does something violent
00:13:01.300get security involved get security involved right away call campus pd call 9-1-1 if you have local
00:13:07.460security get them involved if you've got a a you know depending on whatever resources you are get
00:13:13.780your local security local law enforcement involved immediately these are violent threats and we all
00:13:20.660know we all know this is the first election day without charlie and in in a midterm election and
00:13:27.300there's a reason that charlie's not here with us today and there's a reason that i'm here at
00:13:31.820turning point headquarters the cliff is here at turning point headquarters and charlie is not
00:13:36.400you think for a second that the left still thinks oh you know we just disagree with the right
00:13:41.500don't get it they want us dead and and that woman in her mind thinks it's totally fine to dress like
00:13:49.220that to a polling place because she hasn't felt that pressure in the other direction and in fact0.98
00:13:54.700she wants to intimidate voters that's why she's wearing it well and they justify it right the
00:14:01.060ends justify the means to these crazy radicals on the left i mean to wear a shirt like that not only
00:14:06.320says that you support the violence but that you're willing to tell other people you're not just
00:14:10.820privately supporting it you're openly calling for it and this is what the left does because when you
00:14:16.280tell everybody that trump is hitler and that people that are just a part of the america first
00:14:21.620movement that they believe in freedom, that they're fascists. What do you do with Hitler?0.52
00:14:26.080You take them out. That's what we've been taught. And so when you justify these things and this,0.86
00:14:31.680this rhetoric, of course you're inciting violence, but no Jack, of course they come after us. We're
00:14:36.820the ones inciting violence. It's always us on the right. And then look at that shirt that she's
00:14:41.380wearing miss. It's you. That's inciting violence, not us. No, they're the problem cliff. So we're,
00:14:47.020we're walking through the rest of this and we do it. We did have to call that out. And it's
00:14:50.320something that I've, I've, I've, I've written so many books about this. I've spoken to the
00:14:54.500president about this publicly, head of the FBI, head of the department of justice probably going
00:14:58.480away. Folks ain't going away by itself. That being said, as we do go to the polls and as we do see
00:15:04.900everything that's going on, walk us through the ground game, because this has been a big part
00:15:09.440of the contention that I think we're seeing that people are talking about, Hey, you know,
00:15:13.800we've got these ads, we've got these text messages. We're joking about it in a second ago,
00:15:17.480But what about the actual ground game? I was out there for Scott Perry on Sunday. I've been up to State College, Pennsylvania, up to the University of New Hampshire, out to even even the Las Vegas.
00:15:28.860And you were there, too, actually, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway doing the, you know, doing the voter reg drive with TPUSA.
00:15:34.620But what about the actual numbers when it comes to the doors and when it comes to the way people actually can be reached out to and directly directly engaged for their vote?
00:15:46.240Well, look, Charlie always said to do the work, right? That was the message. And I think a lot of us back in 2020 during COVID, they changed all the rules, right? And I've said this many times on this show. Every one of us knows the most secure way to vote is on Election Day. We're not here to argue that. I'm all in.
00:16:02.020But what we realized after the 2022 cycle is if we don't adapt to the rules and try to go out there and go door to door to either collect the ballots or remind the voters that, look, you need to get your ballot back in.
00:16:14.020We're talking to unlikely Republicans want to be very clear about that.
00:16:18.280I'm not going to people that vote in every election and saying, hey, don't vote on election day.
00:16:22.160Vote by mail. We are going to low propensity Republicans that are diehard Republicans, but they don't vote.
00:16:27.920They're not consistent. And so what we've done is Citizens Alliance and Turning Point Action.
00:16:33.260This year, we've launched a major partnership and we're partnering. We're in four states.
00:16:38.220We're leading the charge in Pennsylvania with Citizens Alliance knocking 750,000 doors.
00:16:43.320We're partnering with Turning Point in Arizona, knocking 500,000 doors, New Hampshire, 400,000
00:16:49.360doors. And we are in Nevada knocking 200,000. Here's the big announcement I want to make
00:16:54.380right here on human events daily as of noon eastern time today citizens alliance turning
00:17:01.520point action our entire program we have officially knocked the 1.85 million doors pump for that but
00:17:09.160we're not letting up until the polls close 1.85 million take it to the bank wow because this is
00:17:16.720something and this is again you and i were just talking about how and congratulations on that
00:17:21.340incredible work that you've done. And this is what you're talking about. How do you meet the
00:17:26.840voters with the new system that we have, the new election experimentation that's been going on?
00:17:32.440It's we need new voter turnout models. We need new abilities, new vehicles, new platforms,
00:17:39.500new institutions. And we used to play the game of saying, hey, it's all about the ads. And,
00:17:43.600and, you know, I love social media, right? There's no question about that. But, but get
00:17:48.780the vote, the ground game is actually 10 times more important now because of the fact that you're
00:17:54.820when you're out there meeting these people, you're not just knocking on the door and saying,
00:17:57.880hey, where do you stand? You're walking on the door and making sure that person actually has
00:18:01.520voted. Well, and the best part is we're not convincing Democrats, right? We're not even
00:18:05.240talking to independents. I mean, most people think that in Pennsylvania alone, going into this year,
00:18:10.820there were roughly 900,000 Republicans that based on their voting history, we're not going to vote.
00:18:15.880And the big number, I know we're going to break, but I'll give you this big number here.
00:18:19.360Right now in Pennsylvania, if you look at the actual ballots that are still out there, there are 41,000 ballots still out there.
00:18:27.960Now, we've gotten quite a few in, right?
00:21:56.400I'm doing great. So tell us about where you are and what's going on there.
00:22:00.660Well, look, I'm running a little mini local grassroots call center here in Legislative District 12 where I reside.
00:22:07.100This is the model of organizations like Turning Point Action who are really emphasizing Get Out the Vote.
00:22:13.180There are probably almost 100 of call centers like this across the state of Arizona and Nevada where every minute, Jack, there's dozens of contacts being made with voters.
00:22:23.260And even a small call center like this, because we have activists who are calling and texting, urging voters who are on the fence, deciding whether or not they should vote, that they should vote.
00:22:46.900And, of course, voter get out the vote efforts like this is the big variable because now Republicans have invested big and we're hoping to see a big payout in the states that smartened up and leaned on efforts just like this.
00:22:59.240Well, that's exactly right, because we've seen a big, you know, I think swing in and there's a huge fight kind of going on out in the broader world of politics on the question of what actually moves voters more?
00:23:14.440Which model is it? And people are starting to move more and more away from the TV only model, the paid advertising only model and into the ground game model.
00:23:25.960And that's really where the door knocking and the phone calling.
00:23:29.320And of course, that's going on here. I'm at Turning Point headquarters and they've got phone banks just all over the place that I've seen since I've come in.
00:23:36.960And so walk us through those two different competing models and how that relates to the way that we've seen the election changes go on, not just in Arizona, but really in many of these states.
00:23:46.600Yeah, well, you have the old school model that was really popular from, you know, until about 2012.
00:23:53.800Obviously, Republicans were losing a lot of elections up until, you know, 2016 when President Trump won.
00:23:59.560And he did so that heavily emphasized his get out to vote programs.
00:24:03.960When you consider the fact that early voting is now much more in play than it was over the past decade, you have to realize, you know, elections come down to who has the best infrastructure.
00:24:14.180Republicans were tired of losing. So they said, you know, how can we take advantage of the tools available to be more competitive?
00:24:21.160One of those tools available is early voting and creating a get out to vote program.
00:24:24.820But another tool available, Jack, is, of course, technology. And Turning Point has created this Turning Point app that you can essentially pull up voters near you. You can talk to voters on this side of the country. Or if you're interested in another race, you can talk to voters on that side of the country.
00:24:43.040So Turning Point has really kind of taken advantage of tools that are kind of available, cutting edge tools, and really tried to lean into that to take advantage of, you know, the current election, the way the field looks.
00:24:56.680And, you know, things are looking good, especially in Arizona.
00:24:59.620It's not a surprise that in 2024, that was the swing state that Trump won by the biggest margin.
00:25:04.760That was also the state that Turning Point had the biggest investment.
00:25:08.540So in 2026, we're hoping to see the same dividends, Jack, but not just in Arizona.
00:25:13.560You've got to remember, Turning Point is also in New Hampshire, and that's a state that a lot of eyes are also on because that state, even more so than Arizona, is going to determine the balance of power in America because of the Senate implications.
00:25:28.200And there's so many key looks into all of this.
00:25:32.880And, you know, if I could, you know, I'll ask you to put your prognosticator hat on just a little bit.
00:25:37.100You know, I know we've seen these numbers, we've seen high turnout, but the one piece of skepticism that I've been asking people to kind of just take everything with a grain of salt, because I, I believe that we're also seeing some Democrats move to election day in person voting in ways that they didn't do in 2020, 2022 and 2024.
00:25:59.300So should we be reading all of that much into thinking that the turnout is all for Republicans?
00:26:05.420No, no, absolutely. No, Republicans haven't done anything yet. You know, the prediction markets haven't flipped toward lean red. So Republicans still have their work cut out for them, which means, you know, now is the time, not only for you to get out and vote if you're watching this at home and you haven't voted.
00:26:22.100But the most important thing is to make yourself a force multiplier.
00:26:25.800When you consider that this is going to still be a low turnout election and Democrats were expected to win, they still have the momentum on their side.
00:26:34.920So if, you know, if you want the blue wave to truly experience a blowback effect and crash, you know, on the rocks, what you need to do is you not only need to vote, but you need to text people within your network, specifically unlikely voters.
00:26:49.380low propensity voters is a term that you're starting to hear more and more within political
00:26:54.880analysis because those are the voters who actually win midterm elections if republicans are able to
00:27:01.260get well thank you so much go give them a follow folks and check out your polls tpaction.com
00:27:06.200slash polls tpaction.com slash polls right back back so the human events daily
00:32:26.140And there was really outside of TP action, there was very little money spent on get out the vote.
00:32:31.940Unfortunately, spending money on ads, which this will be a conversation after the midterms, makes a lot of people rich, Jack, but it doesn't win elections.
00:32:45.040And I don't want to give it away yet, but you take a state like North Carolina, the defections in some of these races were bad and they needed to be addressed.
00:32:53.640And, and Roy Cooper is doing very well with young men who we really need it.
00:32:57.720And, uh, you know, I'm not saying that's going to be that bad all over the country, but right
00:33:02.320now Republicans need to stop, uh, huffing the copium and they need to go grab 10 friends
00:33:12.680People can go and check out exactly where it is.
00:33:15.100And that's, and that's the, that's the key rich is that people are coming out and they're
00:33:18.620saying, uh, uh, you know, they're saying, um, you know, you gotta go out and vote.
00:33:22.760And I mean that I really, really mean that this time, rich, let me ask you this because, and I know I'm throwing you a bit of a mulligan, um, uh, but, uh, but the president threw out a bit of a curve ball this morning and I'm, I'm hearing that certain other networks are making a huge, uh, you know, a huge sense of it.
00:33:40.600President United States came out today and said he's cutting aid to Israel and the way that it's being reported.
00:33:48.860And I saw it up and and, you know, he make the president makes statements and interviews all the time.
00:33:53.400And, you know, you never know if it's going to execute policy.
00:33:55.940This one went all across his social media.
00:33:59.040The official campaign accounts were putting it out.
00:34:03.840President Trump and Netanyahu reached an agreement to end annual aid because a strong ally no longer these American taxpayers footing the bill.
00:34:09.720we gave them more than anyone else and they no longer need it rich i'm just anecdotally hearing
00:34:15.420people send in texts they say i wasn't going to go vote but i saw that and i'm going to vote now
00:34:20.020look i i and i i gotta say you know the most negative thing i could say about this is that
00:34:24.660i wish you would have done it last month but there's a reason he's doing it now the president
00:34:28.560knows he knows he's not the president has the best instincts in american politics he doesn't
00:34:34.140need the people's pundit to tell him how his base feels about this. And the truth is, I mean, this
00:34:39.680is, it's like, when you do what I do, you think, okay, how do I get out the people that are
00:34:43.560difficult to get out? How do I get out or keep the people that are difficult to keep? The people
00:34:47.740who are still rah-rah, zis-gambah, I will love Israel and I support Israel, are like 55, 60 and0.79
00:34:54.060over, and they're going to vote anyway. This was never a danger, you know, of depressing that vote.
00:35:00.360The danger was depressing the younger right-wing vote, which is no longer favorable to Israel, all right?
00:35:06.220I really don't know any other way to say this.
00:35:40.080Because he knew that going on campus and talking to these people, he knew that the tide had shifted.
00:35:47.600And he knew that, and he was talking to people who were coming up to him wearing, wearing, you know, 47 hats or, or MAGA hats, whatever it might be. And they would, they would tell him, they'd say, Charlie, I don't understand why we're, why we're going all in for this, this foreign partner. There's, I'm so much more concerned with domestic issues, the immigration, the anti-white policies that are all over our country.0.62
00:36:12.520why are we you know why are we doing this and charlie was ringing the alarm bell for a lot of
00:36:17.720people in washington dc and others to be able to say guys there there is an age cutoff on this issue
00:36:24.820where suddenly public opinion is shifts vastly and it won't be reversed and you know this i don't
00:36:31.060think i've ever said this publicly before that's literally the last conversation that was the topic
00:36:35.160of the last conversation i had with charlie kirk all right because that's what that's how much
00:36:40.480you know thought people were putting into this because it was so clear to those of us who know
00:36:45.860charlie saw it firsthand i saw it in the polling it was real and it wasn't some inorganic thing
00:36:51.680that was being pushed on tiktok this is massive aid signal you can't reverse it or like now you
00:36:57.080can't unfortunately i really don't think you can maybe at that time had they listened to charlie
00:37:01.940had they listened to me instead of doing what they did which was go into browbeat mode uh which
00:37:07.960unfortunately browbeating only works guys when you're browbeating a small group of dissidents
00:37:13.360if you're browbeating the majority you lose and that's the tactic they chose to do and charlie um
00:37:19.580he understood it man he really did he understood it better than most and uh now here we are so i
00:37:25.200actually i'll tell you right now i got two text messages myself exactly uh like okay that's it
00:37:31.540even if he doesn't do it it's still motivating me enough to go vote and my argument to people
00:37:36.900has always been this if you're mad at the iran war if you're mad at the israel lobby if that's
00:37:41.800what's keeping you home i have news for you democrats support it too you're cutting off

00:40:03.420months free. And of course, we've got to get back to our live election day coverage from
00:40:07.480Turning Point headquarters. All right. We're on with Matthew Martinez. As I said, you're the
00:40:12.220resident data guru for Turning Point Action. It's been a lot of time. It's been a minute since
00:40:18.500we've had you on. But of course, of course, election days always come as they do. What
00:40:23.200when you're looking at the numbers, you're getting the tranches. Maricopa County obviously
00:40:28.180is your baby. When it comes to Maricopa, because we know that Maricopa is where Arizona really
00:40:35.340hinges on swings. Not always, but it is the pivot point. Over 60% of the voting electorate
00:40:41.020is in Maricopa County alone. Right. So the other counties, they matter, but we know Maricopa is
00:40:47.040the big dog. That's right. So when you're looking at the data as it's coming in, walk us through
00:40:51.640some of the interesting things that they do in Maricopa and how you attack that information and
00:40:57.020attack that data head on. Sure. Thank you. And thanks for having me on. Some of the interesting
00:41:01.240things about election results or when numbers are flowing in, this is very by state, is that there
00:41:07.480are state laws and county laws that are germane here. For instance, in Arizona, only Pima County
00:41:15.540and maricopa county report election day drop-offs or in-person voting right so this is the numbers
00:41:23.060that we're looking at right now uh we just got a drop from maricopa county just not too long ago
00:41:28.140and this drop has republicans having a margin so we're beating the democrats by almost 21 percent
00:41:36.540right now over 21 percent county-wide that's huge we're we're we're seeing that our electorate
00:41:43.520Republicans are still voting day of the election, but also one thing that to recognize too is that
00:41:48.280we had a really great early voting advantage over the Democrats statewide and also in Maricopa
00:41:55.620County too. So with these coming in every single hour where we're tracking these numbers, um, is
00:42:02.000right if I announce some of these numbers here? Yeah. So are you talking about, is it all right
00:42:05.940to give us some real time information? This is, this is coming in real time. This is coming in
00:42:10.540as we speak. So right now in Maricopa County, Republicans have 41,000, almost 42,000 votes in.
00:42:18.520So this is from six o'clock this morning to right now, which is almost one o'clock here in Phoenix.
00:42:25.580Democrats are at 22,000 and others. So independents, everybody but Republican and Democrat
00:42:31.440are at 30,000. So again, we have a 21 point advantage over the Democrats, which is about
00:42:38.520a 19, almost 20,000 votes more than the Democrats, uh, for early votes in Maricopa County. So,
00:42:44.620excuse me, uh, in-person day of the election person to in-person day. Yes, sir. And so when
00:42:49.260do we start get, which is, which is huge by the way. So, because I've been asking this question
00:42:53.620because we're seeing now, would you say that that's up from where we were in 24 or is that in
00:43:00.220line? 24 was a presidential. So you have to compare apples to apples. I mean, ratio wise,
00:43:09.440Well, one thing that we've just learned and Tyler Boyer just put out this tweet is that in Maricopa County, they're about an hour behind right now with drops.
00:43:17.800So the numbers I just presented to you are there's a there's an hour delay.
00:43:21.520So the county has a process that they're seeing the live numbers come in.
00:43:24.820But when they send over the PII or the information file, it's an hour delay.
00:43:30.920So we'll see in the next few drops in in like 15 minutes from now, we'll see a one o'clock drop, which should be hopefully around the same numbers in 2022.
00:43:41.520too. So this is amazing because we're, that confirms. And one of the questions that I've
00:43:46.720been having is the Democrats and you and I were talking beforehand that Democrats put in, they
00:43:52.260have this whole push on blue sky and threads and all their, you know, Tik TOK platforms to say,
00:43:57.380Hey, we need to switch to election day in-person voting because Donald Trump controls the post
00:44:03.120office and they have this whole, you know, blue and on conspiracy theory that Trump is going to
00:44:07.600like steal their ballots or throw, which, which by the way, it's just, it, it, it, it makes me
00:44:11.900laugh to no end because of course they said that we were crazy for saying something like that could
00:44:17.720happen in 2020. They said that was, you know, the, the height of conspiracy theorizing. And
00:44:22.740of course was a stealing democracy and all the rest of it. And so the question was, were they
00:44:29.020going to model their behavior on that? And would we see a big surge in Democrats on election day?
00:44:35.540you're saying so far it seems like that hasn't happened yet not not so much and we're only
00:44:41.700seeing maricopa it's still early it's still about 11 o'clock the last time we got the data right so
00:44:47.680the data is still this is still this is premature by the way so this is still the morning data so
00:44:51.980democrats may not be it may have not been awake to vote yet they they haven't got their starbucks
00:44:56.460coffee yet yes yes of course so so maybe don't read into it too much but if it were going to
00:45:02.620happen it has not yet happened that's right yet according to the data yeah and one other point
00:45:07.440too and i i don't have the numbers right here on my screen but um i was running here and i was
00:45:11.900looking at uh a pima drop so pima just dropped it was a very heavy republican drop that's that's
00:45:19.020excellent news for republicans in arizona and bad news for democrats within the state they should
00:45:24.940have had a higher number in pima but they did not perform well in pima in this first drop he was
00:45:29.840Democrat County, right? That's right. Yes. Tucson, Southern Arizona, Tucson, which literally goes
00:45:35.960Democrat every single cycle. But we've been seeing this in the early vote data in Congressional
00:45:40.960District 6 and within day of the election here, too, is that Democrats are having a hard time in
00:45:45.900Pima, which is a big kudos to our chase program that we have within the state. Lacey Niguel,
00:45:52.660Ricky Guthridge, who are in Southern Arizona and the entire team have been chasing for almost two
00:45:58.000years now building relationships with voters and we're seeing it in the data and and this is
00:46:02.860absolutely phenomenal now let's let's zoom out look at some other states obviously new hampshire
00:46:07.040is another one nevada yeah um you know what what sort of information are you getting out of there
00:46:11.540so great question in nevada we we just got a drop an hour ago i got to look at the data a little bit
00:46:17.260more uh republicans have an advantage over day of the election in nevada um and then in new
00:46:23.000Hampshire, we're still kind of in the dark. New Hampshire doesn't really have an infrastructure
00:46:29.220such as Arizona or Nevada when it comes to collecting information from the polls. There
00:46:34.360are some townships in New Hampshire that literally put a whiteboard out front and they'd write down
00:46:40.000their numbers. Yeah. So I'm, you know, coming from Pennsylvania where again, you know, the
00:46:44.220storied Northeast, like New Hampshire, if you look at it in terms of election culture is we're the
00:46:49.560same way. We, we, we may be posted up on like on the, on the doors at the end of polling,
00:46:54.660but you're not going to get that live data collection the way that Arizona does it. That's
00:46:59.160cool. Correct. And, and also with New Hampshire, there's no in person or sorry, no early votes,
00:47:03.960right? There's no early voting, only absentee, but with absentee ballots, Republican has,
00:47:09.100Republicans had a better, um, turnout than Democrats with absentee ballots in New Hampshire,
00:47:14.480which is fantastic news for us. All right. One minute left where number one, tell people where1.00
00:47:18.640go to find their polls and number two tell us what what you're looking at what's the one
00:47:23.520thing that you're looking at going into uh going into the second half of the day here first first
00:47:28.080one is pulling locations uh depends on the county or where you're at in the country if you're calling
00:47:33.360or if you're listening in arizona nevada or new hampshire go to tpaction.com forward slash polling
00:47:39.280place polling place and then uh what i'm excited about i'm sorry what's what's the one one key
00:47:45.440you're looking at a key point um maricopa maricopa maricopa yes yeah maricopa but also later tonight
00:47:52.400when when polls close at 7 p.m in arizona look at yavapai look at mojave look at coches county
00:48:00.720we got to check those ratios yeah all right martinez turning point action jack so big we're
00:48:06.060here in phoenix arizona we'll be on the live stream later tonight ladies and gentlemen as
00:48:10.660always you have my permission to lay a short stay in line
