Transcript

00:00:00.000 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning Point USA.
00:00:07.140 Today is May 4th, 2022, Aneno Domine.
00:00:10.700 Today's headlines, the hunt is on for the Supreme Court leaker.
00:00:15.820 And we've got inside information of what everybody's talking about at the Hill and inside the court.
00:00:21.220 Next, the political fallout from the likely overturning of Roe v. Wade.
00:00:26.860 Third, Fusion GPS, new documents out.
00:00:30.360 They pushed a journalist to hurry on a story in effort to smear former President Trump.
00:00:36.620 And finally, CDC apparently was tracking cell phone data during COVID-19 to enforce the lockdowns.
00:00:44.500 That's nice. All this and more ahead, Human Events Daily.
00:00:56.860 Hey! Hey! Hey!
00:01:04.860 Hey!
00:01:05.860 Back the f*** up!
00:01:06.860 You!
00:01:07.860 You!
00:01:08.860 You!
00:01:09.860 You!
00:01:10.860 You!
00:01:11.860 You!
00:01:12.860 You!
00:01:13.860 What you're hearing right there are the sounds of the violent networks of Antifa, of BLM, the feral left.
00:01:36.860 In this country, all across the country last night, major cities, from New York to Portland to Seattle, Los Angeles, these networks have been reactivated.
00:01:49.360 The Antifa networks have been reactivated for midterms.
00:01:53.300 That's clearly what's going on here, and that's why yesterday I said, this isn't just a leak, this is an operation.
00:02:00.300 And if you can't see that, if you don't understand what's going on here, then you haven't been paying attention.
00:02:06.300 Why did this leak come out now?
00:02:08.300 It's simple.
00:02:09.300 Because there was a coalition in this country building of independents, disaffected liberals, the new right, and social conservatives pushing back against the regime.
00:02:23.300 But what's the one issue that all of those groups disagree on?
00:02:27.300 What's the one thing that can polarize this country and drive people literally to each other's throats, as we saw last night in the streets of LA?
00:02:36.300 It's the issue of abortion.
00:02:38.300 And so when this leak came out, and when this leaker performed this act, they knew, they had to have known.
00:02:46.300 We're going to talk about this in a second, about who we think it might have been.
00:02:50.300 But this is a highly professional, highly skilled, strategic actor, strategic operative, you might even say, that put this out.
00:03:00.300 Because this is the one issue that divides all of those groups in the coalition against the regime.
00:03:06.300 Remember, I said it before.
00:03:08.300 It's not about left versus right anymore.
00:03:10.300 It's about up versus down.
00:03:12.300 But this is the one issue that does separate people into those traditional camps.
00:03:18.300 And why is that?
00:03:19.300 Because both sides see it as a moral issue.
00:03:22.300 For folks like myself in the pro-life camp, we see it as defending life.
00:03:27.300 For folks in the pro-choice camp, they see it as defending the rights of women.
00:03:33.300 And they will go to bat.
00:03:35.300 And we will go to bat.
00:03:36.300 Because that's just how it is.
00:03:38.300 And this leaker, whoever it was, and we have some indication about what's going on, knew that would inflame tensions if they were able to put this out before the decision had been made.
00:03:52.300 Before the five judges, the five justices, had stood up to end five decades of darkness in this country.
00:04:00.300 So what's going on at the court?
00:04:02.300 So first, we know that the marshal of the court under Chief Justice Roberts has been tasked to work on this.
00:04:09.300 We are also getting indications from human events contacts at the White House that DOJ Attorney General Merrick Garland, very upset about this thing.
00:04:19.300 And we've heard that he's talking to the IG, Michael Horowitz, about setting up a task force to go into this, drive in, because the Supreme Court doesn't necessarily have the investigative tools to figure out what went on here, that they're going to put Horowitz on it.
00:04:33.300 Remember, Horowitz is someone who was known for tracking down leakers in the intel community.
00:04:39.300 He's done leak investigations before.
00:04:41.300 Now hearing that Horowitz is in talks to potentially lead an investigation into finding out who the leaker was at the Supreme Court, and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for what they're doing.
00:04:53.300 Put them right in jail next to the January 6th detainees because, again, they were trying to stop a form of government.
00:04:59.300 And you've got conservatives out there like Will Chamberlain, my good friend, looking at some of the clerks because you know publicly who these clerks are, these far left clerks who have direct ties, in some cases even very familiar ties, with Josh Gerstein, who was the reporter that broke the story who got the leak.
00:05:17.300 So who would have leaked it to him?
00:05:19.300 Well, potentially someone who knows him very well, and Will's drilling down on potential clerks who knew that.
00:05:24.300 We're also seeing liberals out there blaming it on a conservative that it might have been some kind of false flag leak.
00:05:32.300 At the end of the day, what we know is a task force will be set up and a serious investigation will be done.
00:05:40.300 But the worry, and this is the biggest worry, and I haven't seen it reported anywhere else, that the person who leaked this might have access to other opinions on gun rights, Second Amendment, on racial issues, affirmative action.
00:05:54.300 This may be the first in a series of leaks that come out throughout the summer.
00:06:01.300 We all understand the fragile state of the U.S. dollar and what it means for us.
00:06:07.300 I think we are in for a tough year, and Biden's printing and spending could be catastrophic for the U.S. dollar and the markets.
00:06:14.300 The Fed, BlackRock, Blackstone, they are not stopping.
00:06:18.300 We real patriots know that Bidenflation is the real pandemic, and ladies and gentlemen, it is getting worse.
00:06:25.300 That is why I recommend that you diversify with gold and silver right now.
00:06:29.300 You've got to do it.
00:06:30.300 The only company that I recommend is Allegiance Gold.

00:07:06.300 So go right now, AllegianceGold.com slash POSO.
00:07:09.300 It is in the description.
00:07:10.300 You can click it right there.
00:07:11.300 We cannot control the Biden administration, but we can prepare.
00:07:14.300 Go to the description immediately and check out AllegianceGold.com slash POSO.
00:07:20.300 I've never seen you so angry you seem to be-
00:07:23.300 This is what the Republicans have been working toward this day for decades.
00:07:29.300 They have been out there plotting, carefully cultivating these Supreme Court justices so they could have a majority on the bench who would accomplish something that the majority of Americans do not want.
00:07:43.300 69% of people across this country, across this country, red states and blue states, old people and young people want Roe versus Wade to maintain as the law of the land.
00:07:56.300 We need to do that.
00:07:58.300 Well, that's Senator Warren giving, obviously, the reaction of really the postmodern leftist movement when it comes to this.
00:08:10.300 You don't hear any response of a reaction to any of Alito's arguments.
00:08:16.300 You don't hear any discussion or serious judgment about when does life begin?
00:08:23.300 What's the efficacy of Roe v. Wade?
00:08:25.300 What's the legal basis?
00:08:26.300 What's the constitutional standing of it or Casey?
00:08:29.300 You don't hear any of that at all.
00:08:31.300 And you're not going to.
00:08:32.300 Because for people like Warren, people like this senator, this is a theological issue, theological issue.
00:08:41.300 It's like going to Catholics and saying you can't take communion anymore.
00:08:45.300 Right.
00:08:47.300 It's viewed at the level of a sacramental ritual and not necessarily the fact that they're all going to go get them, even though Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, apparently is shouting her abortion yesterday.
00:08:58.300 We saw that. No, no, no.
00:09:01.300 This has become a right.
00:09:03.300 It's become a right, an R-A-T-E for the left.
00:09:06.300 Right.
00:09:09.300 And the problem is.
00:09:12.300 And let's just go back to it.
00:09:13.300 And even Ruth Bader Ginsburg, when she was around as far left as she was, as strongly pro-abortion as she was, even she admitted that Roe was a flawed decision.
00:09:26.300 And here's the problem.
00:09:29.300 It's not in the Constitution.
00:09:31.300 It's simply not there.
00:09:33.300 I can look at the Constitution and I can find freedom of speech.
00:09:36.300 It's right there.
00:09:37.300 It's actually number one.
00:09:38.300 As a matter of fact, I can find the freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly.
00:09:44.300 They're all there.
00:09:46.300 I can find the right to keep and bear arms.
00:09:49.300 I can find the right, the protection for search and seizure from the government.
00:09:55.300 You can find all of these things in the Constitution.
00:09:58.300 They're explicit.
00:09:59.300 They are actually, to use the legal term, enumerated.
00:10:03.300 They are enumerated in the Bill of Rights.
00:10:06.300 You know what's not in the Bill of Rights?
00:10:08.300 Abortion.
00:10:09.300 It's simply not there.
00:10:10.300 And by the way, there's lots of things that aren't in the Bill of Rights.
00:10:15.300 And certainly lots of medical procedures that aren't in the Bill of Rights.
00:10:18.300 And there's a reason for that.
00:10:20.300 Because only certain things in this country were meant to be protected at the level of the Constitution.
00:10:26.300 And the way the system is supposed to work.
00:10:29.300 You remember this when you go to civics class, right?
00:10:31.300 And you learn in school, they used to teach us in grade school, I guess they don't anymore,
00:10:37.300 that if you have something, any issue, it would be at the state and local level.
00:10:45.300 So if Roe v. Wade, if and when it gets overturned, it goes back to the states.
00:10:51.300 So what does a post-Roe America look like?
00:10:54.300 Well, number one, there are about 20 states that have trigger laws in place that would immediately,
00:11:00.300 immediately return the practice to being banned within those states.
00:11:05.300 Those are your red states.
00:11:06.300 That's the South, Midwest.
00:11:08.300 You've also got states on the coasts, right?
00:11:11.300 And you can really see the geographic divide on this.
00:11:15.300 You've got states on the coasts that would allow it at differing levels.
00:11:19.300 You've probably also got states that would want to find some kind of middle ground,
00:11:23.300 either going back to this trimester plan or only making exceptions for rape, incest,
00:11:30.300 or the life of the mother, right?
00:11:32.300 This is something, by the way, that came up in Virginia in that just amazing clip, right,
00:11:38.300 that came out talking about this, I believe it was a state rep,
00:11:42.300 and she was saying that her bill covered the mental health of the mother,
00:11:46.300 that if the mother was upset about being pregnant, that it would allow abortion up to 40 weeks.
00:11:51.300 And she was pressed on this, and it was said, well, you know, if she's dilated,
00:11:56.300 if the baby's about to be born, can you still get one of these, you know, anxiety-based abortions?
00:12:04.300 And she says yes.
00:12:05.300 So that's what's going to happen going forward, is that you're going to have to get people,
00:12:10.300 because guess what, it ain't the 1970s anymore.
00:12:12.300 This is the new right, and we're not playing word games about a clump of cells.
00:12:16.300 We are going to ask specific questions about when life begins.
00:12:20.300 And here's the thing.
00:12:22.300 DNA was not at the level it is now in the 1970s.
00:12:27.300 It wasn't even until the 1990s.
00:12:30.300 A fetus has unique DNA from the moment of conception, period.
00:12:36.300 And that's a scientific fact.
00:12:39.300 And yes, it does confirm what the Bible taught us for thousands of years.
00:12:45.300 If a fetus has unique DNA, then it is a unique and individual life, period, full stop,
00:12:53.300 that will grow into a human being, right, if carried to term and is healthy.
00:13:00.300 That's a scientific argument.
00:13:02.300 And when you look at 3D ultrasounds, when you look at MP3,
00:13:05.300 I've got an MP3 on my son's heartbeat at 12 weeks.
00:13:08.300 We listened to it last night, actually.
00:13:10.300 There is no way that you're going to tell me that even if, you know, he's only the size of a blueberry,
00:13:16.300 that that's not a real person.
00:13:19.300 All this evidence, this deep, rich evidence about the motive of the various characters in this saga.
00:13:27.300 We have the motives of the Trumps and the people around the Trumps who were willing to collaborate with the Russians,
00:13:33.300 wanted to collaborate with the Russians.
00:13:35.300 We have the Russians who had this massive campaign to actively try to influence the election.
00:13:40.300 And everything suggests that they should have met in the middle and colluded with one another.
00:13:44.300 Yet when we look for specific evidence of collusion, it doesn't quite add up to what it seems like it should be.
00:13:50.300 And so you have this this kind of missing middle in the story, this great gaping hole in the center.
00:13:56.300 Well, as the fusion GPS investigation continues.
00:13:59.300 And by the way, that is what it is.
00:14:01.300 The Durham investigation is looking into fusion GPS.
00:14:05.300 An incredible side story to all of this has been all of the journalists that are caught up in this thing.
00:14:13.300 They're in these emails.
00:14:15.300 Now, we're told, by the way, and of course, Technofog had the sub stack out with all the emails, all the names.
00:14:21.300 You can go see it.
00:14:22.300 We were actually told that that was meant to be sealed, that that was supposed to be an addendum to the latest Durham filing.
00:14:31.300 Right.
00:14:32.300 But what ended up happening?
00:14:34.300 They accidentally unsealed it.
00:14:36.300 Oof.
00:14:37.300 Oof.
00:14:38.300 Sorry, journos.
00:14:39.300 Sorry.
00:14:40.300 You're unsealed.
00:14:41.300 You're out there.
00:14:42.300 You're not like, you know, the Jeffrey Epstein clients, they all got sealed.
00:14:45.300 The Ghislaine Maxwell records, they all get sealed.
00:14:47.300 Elon Musk was tweeting about that yesterday, which was hilarious.
00:14:50.300 And I think, by the way, may have also slightly been a reference to Bill Gates.
00:14:55.300 But we'll see what that's going on.
00:14:57.300 However, comma, however, comma, the fact that all these names are in here, they're showing you how the sausage is made.
00:15:06.300 And this guy, Franklin Foer, was sending his articles to Fusion GPS saying, hey, do we have this right?
00:15:14.300 Hey, I just wanted to check with you.
00:15:17.300 He's not.
00:15:18.300 This isn't journalism.
00:15:19.300 This is stenography.
00:15:20.300 It's stenography for an opposition research firm.
00:15:24.300 That's all it is.
00:15:25.300 They're operatives.
00:15:26.300 They're operatives of the far left.
00:15:27.300 They don't care if it's real.
00:15:28.300 You know, I get that he's going out there two years later.
00:15:30.300 Well, there was a missing hole in the story.
00:15:33.300 And I think there may have been, you know, some mistakes made along the way, you know, some problems with it.
00:15:41.300 Yeah.
00:15:42.300 But you ran the story and you were at Slate.
00:15:44.300 And now, funny enough, you're not at Slate anymore.
00:15:47.300 Are you, Franklin?
00:15:48.300 You got a little promotion, didn't you?
00:15:50.300 You got promoted to the Atlantic.
00:15:54.300 You got promoted.
00:15:55.300 The Yakuza came in and said, you've done good work.
00:15:57.300 Now we're going to move you up.
00:15:59.300 Been watching Tokyo Vice a little bit lately.
00:16:01.300 So I might make some Yakuza references, right?
00:16:04.300 Hopefully, Franklin doesn't have to chop his finger off for this one.
00:16:08.300 Because he got caught.
00:16:09.300 He got caught.
00:16:11.300 And here's the dirty little secret.
00:16:14.300 You think he's the only journalist doing this?
00:16:17.300 No, of course not.
00:16:19.300 You've got journalists all over the country doing this every day.
00:16:24.300 But I've got a special announcement to make, by the way, today, when it comes to the journalism reporting space.
00:16:32.300 Human Events, we are very proud to announce that Human Events has formed the Human Events Media Group.
00:16:40.300 And that humanevents.com has purchased the Post Millennial.
00:16:45.300 So you've seen them out there.
00:16:46.300 You've seen the Post Millennial.
00:16:47.300 They do incredibly great news.
00:16:49.300 They do reporting.
00:16:50.300 They do breaking stuff all the way from Canada to the United States, to the UK, to Australia.
00:16:56.300 Some of the best writers, of course, you know all the names.
00:16:59.300 Andy Ngo, Libby Emmons, Ari Hoffman.
00:17:03.300 They're joining forces with humanevents.com, which, of course, runs this podcast.
00:17:08.300 But we've also got op-eds from people like Charlie Kirk, from myself.
00:17:13.300 Donald Trump Jr., Christina Pushaw, of course, who's the press secretary for Ron DeSantis, Governor DeSantis.
00:17:20.300 This is going to be an absolute powerhouse in terms of the new right and in terms of the information media space because we are all joining forces now.
00:17:33.300 We're going to have the commentary side on human events, and we're going to have the news side from the Post Millennial.
00:17:38.300 So you're going to get a one-two punch like you've never seen before.
00:17:43.300 And we might just have, I don't know if I can say any of this yet, but we might just have some other podcasts that are coming out that we're going to be working in conjunction with.
00:17:57.300 That's all I can leave it at. Now, maybe if you go to the Young Women's Leadership Summit, you might hear something else about it.
00:18:04.300 Just saying. Just saying. Just throwing that out there a little bit.
00:18:07.300 But it's really exciting. I couldn't be happier to work with such a talented group of professionals.
00:18:12.300 And it really just goes to show you that Brian Stelter is a fool, lost his daily show, but don't worry, Brian.
00:18:19.300 We're accepting applications for interns.
00:18:22.300 Each of our countries have that independent spirit, but we don't want to be told what to do.
00:18:31.300 Well, I understand that. But now is the time to do what you're told.
00:18:37.300 And I think it really is something that we should be doing right now.
00:18:41.300 We don't want to tell you what to do. We know how independent you are.
00:18:45.300 We care about your freedoms and your civil liberties.
00:18:48.300 But oh, no, because there's new documents out from the CDC that show.
00:18:53.300 Yeah, it turns out that wasn't actually the case, because apparently the CDC, according to the new report, was tracking millions of phones to see if Americans followed covid lockdown orders.
00:19:06.300 What were they doing? They were purchasing data from apps.
00:19:10.300 So they're purchasing app data that can track, you know, when you turn your app on, you say, do you want to keep location services active?
00:19:17.300 Well, what does that mean? That means they're tracking you.
00:19:20.300 That means they're tracking your location. They see what your activity is.
00:19:24.300 They see we were going in the real world. They're seeing what other apps you're looking at.
00:19:27.300 They're checking your websites. This is big data.
00:19:30.300 It is a trillion dollar plus industry. So when you see an app out there and you say, oh, it's a free app.
00:19:36.300 I'll download it. The app ain't free. You're the product, not the app.
00:19:40.300 It's you. They are collecting. This is what George Orwell got wrong, by the way.
00:19:44.300 George Orwell, for everything that he got right. And believe me, that guy got a lot right.
00:19:48.300 The one thing that he got wrong was that we would ask for the surveillance, that we would ask not only to put Big Brother in our homes.
00:19:56.300 No, no, no. We are going to put Big Brother in our pockets and carry him around with us everywhere we go.
00:20:02.300 Or maybe big sister like Nini Ankovich. Right.
00:20:05.300 And I love this story. It's incredible because not only were they tracking patterns of people visiting K to 12 schools, they were specifically moderate.
00:20:15.300 I love how they put this. We were we were just monitoring the effectiveness of policy in the Navajo nation, according to the CDC documents.
00:20:24.300 You're tracking the Navajo as if they haven't been through enough.
00:20:29.300 You're tracking their phones to make sure the Navajo were staying under lockdown during the curfews.
00:20:35.300 I'm like, this is from the woke people, by the way.
00:20:38.300 This is from the people that are like, oh, no, no, no.
00:20:41.300 You know, you got to be careful. You got to worry about they were we were on.
00:20:45.300 I was on the Candace Owens show yesterday. And apparently there's this guy out there saying that you can't watch the mummy anymore. Right.
00:20:52.300 Because the mummy shows English colonialism in the 18th century or, you know, I guess early 20th century or whatever. Right.
00:21:00.300 The they're trying to cancel like as if Brendan Fraser hasn't been through enough. Right.
00:21:05.300 As if the guy hasn't been through enough. And Rachel Weisz, what did she ever do to anybody? Can't watch the mummy anymore. Right.
00:21:12.300 The people that are willing to do that don't have a problem whatsoever when the CDC is tracking the Navajo.
00:21:21.300 To make sure. And I want to say this, I don't want to make say this, but was the CDC I'm going to ask, I'm going to ask the question.
00:21:29.300 Was the CDC tracking to make sure that the Navajo stayed on their reservations?
00:21:34.300 Because I don't see that from this argument from this reporting.
00:21:38.300 Is that serious what the CDC was doing?
00:21:41.300 Fauci, Mr. Fauci, Dr. Fauci.
00:21:44.300 Can you give us some information on this, buddy?
00:21:47.300 Because I love all those people. Right.
00:21:49.300 When the current thing was was BLM and racism, well, then it's POC, POC, POC.
00:21:54.300 That's all you hear. But then the current thing becomes covid and it becomes vaccines.
00:21:58.300 And then it's vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine. And Dr. Fauci is the head.
00:22:01.300 And then it became Ukraine. And now it's becoming Roe v. Wade.
00:22:04.300 Now it's becoming all of these different things.
00:22:06.300 There's so much information flooding into human events on a regular basis.

00:22:56.300 We talked about Fusion GPS making the sausage with with journalists.
00:23:01.300 And we also talked about human events acquiring the post millennial.
00:23:04.300 Very excited about that. And finally, we talked about the CDC tracking cell phone data during 2019.
00:23:10.300 What? COVID-19.
00:23:12.300 But first, it's time for today's history break.
00:23:15.300 Today, May 4th, 1886.
00:23:19.300 The Haymarket riot.
00:23:21.300 Violent anarchists.
00:23:23.300 Attacked in a crowd.
00:23:25.300 Attacked police officers.
00:23:27.300 Killed seven police officers.
00:23:29.300 A bomb was thrown.
00:23:30.300 60 people wounded.
00:23:32.300 Civilian casualties of four to eight dead.
00:23:35.300 Understand.
00:23:36.300 The violent left is not something new.
00:23:40.300 It has been going on for over 100 years.
00:23:44.300 And they've tried to keep it under wraps.
00:23:47.300 But not us.
00:23:48.300 We're going to expose it every single day.
00:23:50.300 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
