00:03:18.440Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:03:26.000We are here live on Real America's Voice.
00:03:30.340Today is March 24th, 2026, Anno Domini.0.73
00:03:35.300And today is day 25 of Operation Iran.
00:03:40.220Of course, we've been talking yesterday about moving up the escalation ladder.
00:03:44.660We are seeing the situation on the ground continue to continue to play out and, of course, seeing more and more strikes from Iran hitting into the hitting into Tel Aviv, hitting into Israel, making their way through Israeli air defense, the the, of course, famous Iron Dome.
00:04:06.820But many questions arise over how much longer both sides are able to keep this up.
00:04:13.260Of course, the air defense side from Israel and then, of course, Iran, their ability to wage war, which we know has been degraded.0.54
00:04:21.340But serious questions still remain about their ability to penetrate these air defenses of the U.S. and our allies and also to be able to strike targets,0.91
00:04:32.700specifically with these cluster munitions. And the great Trey Yengst has been there on the ground,
00:04:38.860my former colleague, and he has been documenting this day in and day out of the civilian areas in
00:04:45.800many places in Israel that have been struck by these Iranian missiles and cluster munitions.
00:04:52.980We're also seeing, of course, real questions about the talks that are happening and news that I saw
00:04:59.680this morning that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are reportedly now on the ground in Islamabad,
00:05:07.320Pakistan. So they are there. They are directly on the border of Iran itself. Bold move, ballsy move,
00:05:15.180being willing to go to the region in the middle of all of this, knowing that the Ayatollah had
00:05:21.020just been assassinated a couple of weeks ago. This shows I think this absolutely shows that
00:05:26.340The Trump administration is more than willing to take these talks seriously, but at the same time, also willing to go up the escalation ladder.
00:05:36.200And we're also seeing reports of 82nd Airborne. I was talking about that yesterday.
00:05:40.580Now that's starting to come out that the 82nd Airborne may have been called up.
00:05:44.520We know that two marine expeditionary units from the USS Boxer, LHA, as well as the USS Tripoli are on their way to the Persian Gulf.
00:05:54.180Does that mean a possible land invasion of Iran to take place?
00:06:00.580You know, certainly not within the same scope of the Iraq invasion or Afghanistan in terms of trying to occupy the country.
00:06:08.480But perhaps an operation in the Strait of Hormuz is in the works or for Karga Island, of course, which would be much trickier or possibly both.
00:06:17.980Maybe send the 82nd to Karga Island and you send the Marines to the Strait of Hormuz.
00:06:22.980I haven't I haven't heard of this from anyone. I'm not speaking from any specific reporting that I've done on this.
00:06:29.460And I'll tell you, of course, we're working to find this out.
00:06:31.860Last night, I was honored to participate in the Turning Point USA Pick Up the Mic tour at Arizona State University.
00:06:40.720We had an incredible event there. We had great students to come out.
00:06:44.060We're going to get you guys more footage of that when it comes.
00:06:46.560We didn't live stream because that's, you know, Charlie's tradition was not to live stream them, but to break them up into the clips that come out.
00:06:54.560And so we're going to continue that. And here's just a little bit of footage.
00:06:57.940It was myself, Blake Neff, were there. Great questions from the students, you know, definitely had some some tough questions.
00:07:04.720But we also had some good questions. We had people on the left. We had people on the right.
00:07:08.200We had people in the middle, people up top, people down below from all different sides.
00:07:12.480It was great to be there and, of course, honored to always be able to work with Turning Point USA and in any way help to carry on the mission of Charlie Kirk.
00:07:22.080Right back, Jack Posobiec, Human Events Daily.
00:07:29.520We'll stand in our way and our golden age has just begun.
00:07:33.720This is Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
00:07:35.480Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.

00:07:56.680great job all right folks we're back here human events daily real america's voice folks i gotta

00:08:25.120of that. Let's make a new year's resolution to actually give our bodies what they need. For me
00:08:29.380and my family, that fresh start begins with Cove Pure. Here's the thing. Everybody jumps into the

00:09:37.340POSO to start the new year right. All right, folks. So President Trump expected to speak.
00:09:46.900So actually, he's speaking right now. I see there he's going to be going to be swearing in Mark
00:09:53.600Wayne Mullen as the new Secretary of Homeland Security. And we are going to take that here at
00:09:59.440the top for on RAV. And for our own broadcast, what we'll do is we're told the president might
00:10:06.500be making some announcements, might be taking some questions. So we are going to work on that.
00:10:11.600And if the president does go to make those remarks or make an announcement, we will be taking that.
00:10:15.920In the meantime, I still wanted to talk about what's going on with Iran. I still wanted to get
00:10:20.480into that situation and we're bringing back yet again fleximus maximus himself malcolm flex
00:10:27.900joins us here on human events what's up flex
00:10:30.480oh man jack i'm gonna need some of these decades of news to uh stop happening in these coming weeks
00:10:38.420man we got to stop meeting up like this it's getting crazy so you so you told me last week
00:10:44.580that you said, I think we're going up the escalation ladder. And then over the weekend,
00:10:48.920we saw Israel bombed very close by the Bushir nuclear reactor, as well as Natanz nuclear
00:10:58.700reactor and nuclear research center in Iran. Iran responds by sending their advanced ballistic0.69
00:11:06.060missiles, which some say include hypersonic glide vehicle technology to be able to pierce through
00:11:14.200that iron dome. And where do they target that? Oh, right. Demona, which is in southern Israel
00:11:19.680in the Negev desert, very close to where Israel has their nuclear reactor and reportedly may
00:11:26.840actually have their stockpile of nuclear weapons. So, oh, good. Here's that escalation ladder that0.91
00:11:33.540we had warned about. And that's exactly what we're starting to see. These tit for tat.
00:11:38.080We hit you here. You hit us there. You hit this refiner. We hit our refiner. You hit your gas,0.97
00:11:42.060your gas field, we hit your, you know, your allies gas field and back and forth and back
00:11:46.880and forth is what are we learning from this?
00:11:49.880And let me just go back to a second and ask this question, because we were told early
00:11:53.960on that Iran was running out of missiles the same way they said Russia was running out
00:11:58.520of missiles in the first couple of weeks.
00:12:00.240How is it that they're able to still respond at the way that they are?
00:12:04.780And how is it that it's it seems to me and you look at some of the numbers that their
00:12:08.880missiles are actually landing with more precision than when they did in the early days well part of
00:12:15.340it's going to be again is based on sort of intelligence assessments of capabilities and
00:12:20.000you know what iran lets you know and what they don't necessarily let you know i'm not saying
00:12:24.620that iran's like this amazing military superpower we've just been completely caught off guard
00:12:29.480necessarily but if you actually look you know there are reports that in diego garcia which is
00:12:35.800near the Indo-Pacific, actually, Iran had intermediate-range ballistic missiles actually
00:12:41.480landed out there in that 4,000-kilometer space. That's something that we didn't even know they
00:12:46.520had. So what I'm saying is that if they're pulling out some capability that we necessarily
00:12:52.120don't quite know about, then that means that the conflict itself is even more intense,
00:12:57.080especially now that we're hearing threats of civilian infrastructure being targeted.
00:13:00.640it, that lets us know that what we believe Iran's attentions are, are that much more
00:13:21.860Well, yeah, they took out a lot of our radars and a lot of our imaging capabilities.
00:13:27.400Meanwhile, they're still, you know, again, nothing has moved around necessarily as far as where their landing strikes at in Israel, especially these metropolitan areas.
00:13:36.700It's pretty easy to get a hit if they're not intercepted.
00:13:40.620So that being said, you know, the conflict is going to get pretty intense.
00:13:44.420And, you know, I think Trump joining in right now, you know, he's honestly ratcheting it up, which lets me know that, hey, we're trying to get him to back down or something.
00:13:54.020and we need it to happen quickly because otherwise this is going to spiral out of control.
00:13:58.360And that's, you know, just saying, you know, from Tel Aviv's side as well as the Tehran side.
00:14:05.860And this is something that I want to hit on as well, is that there were these assessments,
00:14:12.360whether it's DIA, whether it's whoever, you know, part of some of the three-letter agencies that I
00:14:16.740know well from, you know, having been in this world that, look, there are times where we assess
00:14:22.660capabilities and your information is only as good as your input, as your sourcing, as what you know.
00:14:28.600And we know that what has Iran done? They have been planning and preparing for this very type
00:14:34.060of operation since 1979 and their ability to camouflage, to mask capabilities, and also to
00:14:41.780just in general hide the level and the location of their capabilities. Look, this is a mountainous
00:14:47.920area. This is a desert area. And what have they been using? They've been using the terrain to
00:14:52.200their advantage, building these bunkers deep underground. That's where, by the way, we're
00:14:55.960told that the uranium, the enriched uranium still resides. I believe it's in liquid form
00:14:59.720and it's at, you know, the bunkers were able to take out the entrances and some of the access ways
00:15:04.560to the facility, the research facilities for enriching uranium, but the uranium itself was
00:15:09.780not destroyed. It is still there. So I say that, you know, when you take that logic,
00:15:14.920you also have to then apply that to these missile silos or what they call them,
00:15:19.340the missile cities and drone cities that they have thousands of them underneath this extremely
00:15:26.540mountainous area. And that's that doesn't take away anything from the capabilities of the United
00:15:31.060States government, the United States military. No, by far, I would not say that. I'm just saying
00:15:35.140this is an extremely complicated problem set. One buy in the military knows that they are going to
00:15:42.860have to deal with in a different way than simply just, you know, just airstrikes because you just
00:15:48.700don't know what's down in those tunnels. And this is exactly by the way, this is exactly something
00:15:54.340that was brought up. President Trump actually nixed this back during the 12 day war that Israel
00:15:58.540had suggested at one point that there there be a joint IDF US raid on those facilities so that you
00:16:05.760could secure the uranium. And of course, getting into them highly defended at the time would
00:16:11.500certainly be a risky operation to say the least. But but Flex, talk to us a little bit about how
00:16:17.620just Iran has been using this defense in depth and the terrain to their advantage to hide their
00:16:23.740capabilities. Yeah. Well, part of the issue when it comes to conducting air campaigns and using0.79
00:16:31.300large munitions, you know, over distances is that if your opponent knows and has any ability to move
00:16:39.680where they're launching, where they're attacking from, then, you know, you're pretty darn limited,
00:16:44.160especially if we're talking about natural structures things that can withstand bunker
00:16:49.440busting munitions munitions of certain amounts of tons of you know force we're you know this is
00:16:56.320ancient ground so i don't say that just uh you know kind of sound dramatic i said to say that
00:17:02.640you know this is very hardened terrain it's going to be able to have a certain level of structural
00:17:08.560integrity and that's not even talking about the ultra high performance concrete that they probably
00:17:12.960reinforce some of these structures with so if you're going to get in there you can't take a
00:17:19.080sledgehammer if the sledgehammer is literally going against impact resistant concrete and you
00:17:25.040know ground that's withstood millennia and basically had ages to harden what you're going
00:17:29.740to end up having to do and i you know god forbid this happened i hate this but we're seeing it
00:17:35.100right now with any you know with the marine expeditionary units in route is that you need
00:17:40.120more options i liken it to a massive barbecue joint that's like several stories tall versus a
00:17:47.880buffet right now iran has a buffet it might be a small country buffet but they've got a bunch of
00:17:52.160options that they can do to hamper the united states assault we only have one option which is
00:17:58.020a very big option but you know it's only one option and that is you know basically we're
00:18:03.260we're having to just strike at it from the air so the marine expeditionary unit gives you more
00:18:08.160options on the table if we're talking about conducting warfare or we're talking about
00:18:12.820getting in and holding territory now where they go from there and what their uses i don't necessarily
00:18:17.820know but that you know again you've got missile cities you've got underground facilities you've
00:18:23.980got all of these natural advantages terrain wise that again unless you're going to pull out
00:18:29.740something that is uh you know beyond the pale you're not going to be able to just basically
00:18:34.760achieve your win condition of quote-unquote either routine gene change or neutralization
00:18:39.860from the air now and so we're seeing that and we're also seeing that the markets are taking
00:18:44.340notice with Brent with uh Brent crude oil we're basically going bonkers right now so a lot of
00:18:50.160people are kind of on edge and I think that's part of where Trump's gambit fits in where he's
00:18:54.780threatening total annihilation at this point or obliteration let me let me get my Asians right
00:27:00.480And as you know, today, we were going to have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation plant, one of the biggest in the world.
00:27:10.800And one shot to the right location ends the plant. It collapses.
00:27:15.460And we held off based on the fact that we're negotiating.
00:27:19.300What do you think was the turning point to make you want to pursue a ceasefire?
00:27:23.220A few days ago, you said you wanted to continue bombing Iran. Now you want to pursue peace talks.
00:27:28.760was there something that they're talking to us and they're talking since and remember it all starts
00:27:34.680with they cannot have a nuclear weapon just you know i said yesterday what they said what are the
00:27:39.560top ten i said well number one two and three is they can't have a nuclear weapon and uh they're
00:27:46.440not going to have a nuclear weapon and we're talking about that i don't want to say in advance
00:27:51.000but they've agreed they will never have a nuclear weapon they've agreed to that how do you ensure
00:27:55.320Your former border patrol chief Greg Bovino said his only regret is that he didn't catch
00:28:01.680more illegal aliens. What's your reaction to that? Who said that? That's your former border
00:28:07.280patrol chief. He just retired. Well, I mean, we captured a lot. You know, they were allowed into
00:28:15.660the country by Sleepy Joe and that group of incompetent people that were here. Worst president0.97
00:28:21.740ever the group of incompetent people to me that's the biggest scar you know inflation they caused0.62
00:28:26.380the highest inflation we've ever had we've already gotten rid of it the biggest scar is is what they0.98
00:28:32.060did the people that they allowed from prisons all over the world they came from the congo from all0.90
00:28:36.620over south america rough rough rough people really tough people so uh no i understand what he means
00:28:44.220he says you know he would have liked to have captured more uh i'm not capturing so much as
00:28:49.580removing you know removing thousands of people and many are self-deporting
00:28:54.020because we're going after him so powerfully that they're self-deporting
00:28:57.820time going back I think that's one of the big unkept secrets it's it's with
00:29:03.740thousands and thousands of people and they're self-deporting they're going
00:29:07.760back to where they came from but what we want really is the criminals we're
00:29:11.660really focused on those criminals getting them out you know and also to
00:29:17.780Americans that are stuck in airports, it's really devastating watching it online because Democrats won't fund DHS. What's devastating? Americans are now stuck in airports as we speak because Democrats. Well, they just don't. They won't. Look, this is a deal that was done in the great big beautiful deal, which gave you the biggest tax cuts ever, including no tax on tips and no tax on Social Security for the seniors. Think of it. No tax on overtime. Tax deductions. When you buy a car, you take money, pay interest in the money, deduct
00:29:47.760it we've never had that for people buying cars uh if it's an american car only if it's an american
00:29:54.560car but um they are just uh what they're they stick together the democrats i tell you i give
00:30:04.480great credit for that we have some that will they're not good stickers we have guys like
00:30:09.760tom massey and congress who's terrible he's just terrible terrible person i call him rand paul jr
00:30:15.440But they don't vote. Rand Paul, I mean, rarely votes for stuff. Likes me. Says, I'm a great
00:30:22.240president. He said the other day, I'm a great president, one of the greatest presidents.
00:30:27.680But I said, do me a favor, vote for us and don't call me a great. I'd rather have the vote
00:30:32.340than the statement. But we have people that don't stick together and those people hopefully will
00:30:39.860someday be gone the thing i most respect about the democrats even on horrible policy they stick
00:30:46.040together what they do have though is horrible policy uh transgender for everyone open borders
00:30:53.200men and women's sports they have the worst policy that you can imagine and so whether they stick0.97
00:31:01.120together or not i mean they have just this terrible policy we have great policy republicans
00:31:06.900have great policy. We have common sense policy, but it's great policy. That's our biggest
00:31:11.520advantages. Our policy is correct. Yeah, please. Are you encouraging our allies in the Gulf to be
00:31:17.100more involved in the Iran operation? Are you encouraging our allies in the Gulf to be more
00:31:22.500involved in the Iran operation? Yeah, I mean, a little bit, but more more NATO. I think our Gulf
00:31:29.080allies have been pretty good, to be honest with you. UAE's been hit so hard. He got hit by 1,400
00:31:36.360rockets, shot them all out of the air with our great Patriot missiles. Think of it. They shot
00:31:42.780100 missiles at one of our aircraft carriers, the Abraham Lincoln, one of the biggest ships in the
00:31:48.780world, actually. And out of 101 missiles shot, every single one of them was knocked down in the
00:31:55.680sea. Think of that. Think of what that means. 101 missiles, highly sophisticated, very fast
00:32:02.780missile shot out of 101 all 101 were shot down and now for the most part lie at the bottom of the
00:32:11.500sea it's pretty amazing right pretty amazing our military is amazing pete you know the attack i'm
00:32:18.160talking about recently 101 shot i said wow i saw that you can see we have sort of pretty good
00:32:25.300equipment that we see it's called the red line those red lines were thick right i said that's
00:32:31.340lot and then we saw them one by one just get shot and these guys that do the shooting the coolest
00:32:36.380cucumbers ever you know most people you don't have a lot of time when a missile's going at 2500 miles
00:32:42.940an hour i don't care how far away it is you don't have a lot of time but i watch them uh i watched
00:32:50.540them sit down and think great students mit's a lot of mit's a lot of guys like this and not
00:32:57.340as much into the muscle as they are this one right here and amazing just watch them perform
00:33:05.900under great pressure because they have a matter of seconds to do it if they don't do it properly
00:33:11.480it's a big problem you know because these were powerful these were very powerful missiles coming
00:33:17.640and so a lot of people choke they don't choke these guys don't choke they're the best in the
00:34:19.160want to comment until I see the deal. But as you know, they're negotiating a deal. I guess they're
00:34:23.960getting fairly close. But I think any deal they make, I'm pretty much not happy with it. These
00:34:31.280guys came in. They wouldn't pay people. You know, they had a deal to pay. They had to break their
00:34:35.940deal. The Democrats broke the deal that we had. It was all done. Everything was fine. And then
00:34:42.560they just said, well, we're not going to pay anymore. And they hurt our country. And at a
00:34:48.680difficult time because you know we are at as they would say a war they call it a war i call it a
00:34:53.540military operation a very successful one like successful like nobody's ever seen before hey
00:35:00.560venezuela was equally as successful that's a great that was a great thing no uh the democrats had a
00:35:06.840deal it was a done deal and then they said well we're not going to pay and uh so they a lot of
00:35:13.380people suffered over that and and put our country in danger you have another question you haven't
00:35:18.140been here in a while can you give us any more sense of who exactly in Iran it
00:35:26.300is either yeah we had I hate to say this in front of these young people
00:35:32.720they're not children if I spoke to most of them they sound like adults to me
00:35:37.040even though they are sort of children right they'll always be your children
00:35:39.980but I hate to say it but we killed all their leadership and then they met to0.94
00:35:47.240choose new leaders and we killed all of them and now we have a new group and we can easily do that0.84
00:35:54.180but let's see how they turn out it's we have really regime change you know this is a change0.51
00:36:00.920in the regime uh because the leaders are all very different than the ones that we started off with
00:36:06.920that created all those problems so this was i think we can say jason this is regime change right
00:36:12.340What makes you trust? I don't trust anybody. I don't trust you. I mean, that's only because I know you. But if I didn't know you, I'd probably have more trust. But I don't trust. Why do you? Why do you say that? Why do you say what makes you? Do you think I trust them? I don't trust them. Why bother talking? Because they're going to make a deal. They're going to make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing. Actually, they gave us a present and the president
00:36:42.320arrived today and it was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money and i'm not going to
00:36:49.520tell you what that present is but it was a very significant uh uh prize and they gave it to us
00:36:58.480and they said they were going to give it so that meant one thing to me would deal with the right
00:37:02.160people no it wasn't nuclear related it was oil and gas related and it was a very nice thing they
00:37:09.120did but what it showed me is that we're dealing with the right people because you know you don't0.59
00:37:13.200know because the leadership was killed all gone khomeini all gone as the expression goes the past
00:37:20.880supreme leader and then the new supreme leader was racked up at a minimum racked up pretty good
00:37:28.640and everyone else was gone and then many of the people in the third tier are gone
00:37:33.760But we're dealing with a group of people that I think turn out and and the the present the gift
00:37:40.600they made to us was very significant and they said they were gonna do it and it happened and
00:37:45.280they're the only ones that could have done it Jennifer yeah it was related to the flow and to
00:37:53.200the straight yeah negotiating on who's gonna control the straight from now on you can we'll
00:37:59.140have control of anything we want look if we can end this without more lives being down without
00:38:06.700knocking out 10 billion dollar electric plants that are brand new and the apple of their eye
00:38:14.000i'd like to be able to do that you know but uh but we they can't have certain things i mean you
00:38:20.760you know the things i don't have to go over the list but again it starts with no nuclear weapons
00:38:25.280and they've agreed to that there won't be any nuclear weapons they're not going to have and
00:38:28.920they're not going to have enrichment, any of those things. But look, I hate to say that
00:38:35.200we're in a very good bargaining position. But and I hate to say that they're defenseless
00:38:41.380because, you know, until that last missile is fired, they have little power. But we are
00:38:48.340in about the best bargaining position. We're way ahead of schedule. And again, they have
00:38:53.580no Navy and they have no Air Force and they have no missile protection. And most of their
00:38:57.640missiles are gone most of their launches we've killed you know we've
00:39:01.600killed about 82 percent of their launches so even if they had a missile
00:39:05.860they can't launch it we've been very fat we have the greatest military in the
00:39:11.260world nobody even comes close we have the best military equipment in the world
00:39:15.040go ahead on Saudi Arabia there's been some reporting that you've been talking
00:39:18.400to the Crown Prince have you been focused on normalization between Saudi
00:39:23.560we have a great relationship with Saudi Arabia what do you hear with Saudi
00:39:28.600Arabia just hearing that you've been talking and that he has been encouraging
00:39:32.620you to do certain things related to Iran he's a warrior he's fighting with us by
00:39:38.660the way Saudi Arabia has been excellent and UAE excellent and I will tell you
00:39:45.760Qatar incredible Qatar took a hit pretty bad hit
00:39:50.620Qatar is very close. You know, they're essentially, you can walk right over the border.
00:39:55.780Qatar took a hit. They've been great. They've been very strong. Kuwait, they had a little
00:40:00.940mishap. They shot down three planes with our missiles. They happen to be our planes. But
00:40:07.020the pilots made it. Can you imagine the pilots making it? The pilots are always coming.
00:40:11.980And they said, those are patriots. We're not going to escape patriots. And they got out of
00:40:16.000there pretty quick Pete right pretty amazing that they got out the three0.55
00:40:20.560pilots lived to find in fact they're flying today yeah the Kuwaitis made a
00:40:27.840mistake they fired they thought they were firing at the enemy it was as the
00:40:33.280expression goes friendly fire but the pilots are great they're flying today
00:40:38.440pretty amazing went when you think of it yeah
00:40:43.240On a human level, how hopeful are you that this peace deal will work out?
00:50:14.280I want to thank the family because without the family he's not here you know he's a different
00:50:37.040person and that goes especially for mom who looks like she's about 22 years old I don't
00:50:42.380I see these kids, but she looks very young, but it's a great couple of congratulations to you both. Thank you. Thank you more
00:50:54.140Thank you very much everybody. Thank you
00:51:12.380All right, guys, Jack Wasovic. We're back here.
00:51:23.140We saw President Trump there taking his Q&A about everything that is going on under the sun.
00:51:31.780We're seeing his his comments. We're seeing his, you know, his his work regarding, of course, Secretary Mullen coming in there.
00:51:40.920We're seeing, of course, his response to to Iran, to the war that's going on, the war effort, whether or not we're going to have those boots on the ground, whether or not the information is coming out.
00:51:51.520And I also want to throw out, by the way, this breaking news that we are seeing this out of The Guardian, that.
00:51:58.820J.D. Vance, vice president of the United States, has potentially been routed to Pakistan and or potentially could be routed to Pakistan.
00:52:11.080It says Pakistani sources tell The Guardian that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance was being put forward as a probable chief negotiator from the U.S. side of talks.
00:52:20.100go ahead. Iranian sources have said they refuse to sit down with Trump's Middle East envoy,
00:52:25.280Wyckoff, or Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who led the previous nuclear negotiations with Iran
00:52:30.220before the war. So I'm parsing this to see whether or not J.D. has actually been sent to Pakistan
00:52:39.580and need to figure out exactly where we're looking at with this. But potentially, potentially seeing
00:52:46.740jd vance we could see the vice president actually head over to pakistan which of course if if if
00:52:54.060that took place would be an incredibly uh an incredibly strong move for the vice president
00:53:01.100to go sitting vice president to go in extremely close proximity to a war zone in the middle of a
00:53:09.440shooting war between the and guys you want to show just to throw up the map of the uh of the
00:53:15.200gulf here real quickly to let you see that Pakistan sits immediately outside the Strait of
00:53:20.660Hormuz. You're talking about territory that is very, very, I can't see Pakistan on this map,
00:53:25.880but this is very, very close to the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz on what's called the Gulf of Aden
00:53:33.500and into the wider Indian Ocean. So should the vice president head out there, that would be an
00:53:40.240extremely bold move for the vice president that would certainly burnish his credentials. And we
00:53:45.900know that he has been someone who has been in the anti-war camp in general in the past. He's someone
00:53:52.460who's spoken out against regime change wars, although at the same time, he himself, of course,
00:53:57.280being a veteran and being a Marine, remember once a Marine, always a Marine, no such thing as a
00:54:02.840former Marine. This would be an extremely high profile assignment for the vice president. And
00:54:08.400And we will see, of course, if this does come to fruition, we would certainly pray for peace.
00:54:15.180We also pray for the safety of the vice president and the team as they go over.
00:54:19.100Reading through the article some more, it says that it sounds like this is coming from
00:54:23.020the Pakistan side, so not from the U.S. side, but it says that Islamabad has yet to be officially
00:54:27.240confirmed as a venue for any talks, which neither side has formally agreed to so far.
00:54:31.420Qatar, Turkey and Egypt have also been touted as other venues, but sources say that Tehran's
00:54:37.340preference was Islamabad. So you're seeing that potential olive branch from Iran regarding
00:54:44.860negotiations in Pakistan. This, of course, is still a moving situation, and we here at Human
00:54:51.780Events will always stand ready to give you the latest whenever it takes place. You just heard
00:54:57.820from the president, and potentially we could be hearing or seeing the vice president making some
00:55:03.340moves here very soon. Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
