00:01:46.940 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:01:50.400 Christ is king.
00:01:51.320 Now, since Syrian President Bashar al-Assad appears to have issued his first statement since the fall of his regime over a week ago.
00:01:57.000 A statement was posted to the social media account of the Syrian presidency.
00:02:00.560 It claims Assad was moved from the capital of Damascus to a Russian airbase in Syria on the morning of December 8th as the rebels moved in.
00:02:06.500 And he claims the base came under, quote, intensified attack by drones before Moscow ordered an immediate evacuation that evening.
00:02:12.900 He also says that at no point during the events did he consider, quote, stepping down or seeking refuge.
00:02:17.760 Donald Trump calling for a criminal investigation into Liz Cheney over witness tampering after a report from House Republicans singled her out,
00:02:28.060 accusing her of colluding with a witness on the January 6th committee and recommending she be investigated for possible criminal prosecution.
00:02:35.080 Congressional leaders say they have a plan to avoid a government shutdown this weekend,
00:02:39.680 but the bill has some Republicans angry with House Speaker Mike Johnson.
00:02:44.340 This plan, unveiled last night, appears to have support for both Democrats and Republicans in the Senate and the House.
00:02:50.780 It moves the funding deadline from Friday to March 14th, giving almost $100 billion in disaster aid,
00:02:57.760 much of that for FEMA's relief fund, the Small Business Administration's disaster loan program, and help for farmers.
00:03:03.940 Many Republicans sound frustrated that this plan does more than just continue the budget.
00:03:10.420 They want time to reread it, they say, while others complain they didn't have enough input.
00:03:14.800 You know who also does not like this? Elon Musk, the world's richest man, just tweeted,
00:03:21.020 this bill should not pass.
00:03:23.320 The lawsuit to President-elect Donald Trump was planning against the Des Moines Register,
00:03:27.720 and his pollsters has now been filed.
00:03:30.480 He accused a paper of, quote, brazen election interference for a poll that claimed Kamala Harris was leading in Iowa by three points just days before the election.
00:03:39.960 What media are you talking about that's anti-Trump?
00:03:44.260 You're not familiar with the anti-Trump media?
00:03:46.460 You're not familiar with the fact that you guys control everything from podcasts?
00:03:49.480 If anything I've heard you say out here, that might be the nutty of you.
00:03:52.960 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
00:03:56.600 Today is December 18th, 2024, Anno Domini.
00:04:00.920 Folks, we've seen the CR that's come out in the House right now.
00:04:06.460 We've seen Johnson push this.
00:04:08.140 We've seen the entire thing go forward.
00:04:10.020 You say, oh, it's all about the government shutdown.
00:04:12.740 We've got to avoid the government shutdown.
00:04:13.940 They do this every single time.
00:04:16.880 Explain to me, explain to me how you can have all these people sitting up there and say,
00:04:22.820 Doge, and we're going to cut this and we're going to cut that.
00:04:26.060 Everybody wants to cut spending until it actually comes time to cut spending.
00:04:33.640 And then suddenly nobody wants to anymore.
00:04:37.320 Suddenly they say, oh, we've got to go through with all this.
00:04:41.320 We've got to do it.
00:04:42.120 I hope that Elon Musk watches this.
00:04:44.540 I hope that Elon Musk watches this.
00:04:46.380 I hope that Vivek Ramaswamy watches this.
00:04:48.580 I hope they look at it with clear eyes.
00:04:51.380 And they remember the fact that all of those people that were lining up with them,
00:04:56.700 hanging out with them, sitting there on a plane, going to the UFC with them,
00:05:01.700 having a great time, taking pictures, snapping selfies, selfie, selfie, selfie, selfie, selfie,
00:05:07.740 sitting there, saying, we're going to be with you and we're going to do Doge and we're going to get rid of this wasteful spending.
00:05:16.500 And then they turn around and they push bills full of wasteful spending.
00:05:22.060 Do you get it?
00:05:23.240 Are you paying attention yet?
00:05:25.200 I hope that Elon and Vivek get this.
00:05:28.520 And I certainly hope, look, one thing that I really admire about Elon Musk is that he is someone who just, he cuts through the BS.
00:05:37.440 He cuts right through the BS.
00:05:38.640 He says, how much are you willing to spend, yes or no?
00:05:43.060 And if you tell him one thing and then you turn around and do something else,
00:05:46.380 he is going to put you in a category in his mind of a liar.
00:05:49.900 Because when you tell someone you're going to do something and then you do the opposite,
00:05:54.600 that means you told a lie.
00:05:57.060 That means you are deceitful.
00:05:59.740 And yes, boys and girls, there are Republicans that do this just as much as Democrats.
00:06:04.520 In fact, I'm not even talking about the Democrats right now.
00:06:06.540 I'm talking about the Republicans.
00:06:09.580 And the fact of the matter is that Republicans are not willing to cut spending.
00:06:16.280 They never were.
00:06:17.700 They only wanted to cut spending when it comes to entitlements,
00:06:21.280 when it comes to actual programs used by the American people.
00:06:24.760 But when it comes to congressional programs, no, not interested.
00:06:28.740 Not interested at all.
00:06:31.500 Elon Musk is the guy who fired 80% of the people at X
00:06:36.220 and X got better.
00:06:38.220 Well, let me tell you something.
00:06:39.600 I want to do the exact same thing to the government.
00:06:42.560 I don't just mean the government writ large.
00:06:44.380 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:06:45.520 I've got specifics.
00:06:47.040 I'm talking about all of the operational elements.
00:06:51.680 I'm even talking about the intel agencies.
00:06:53.880 Why do we need 18 of these things when all they do is conspire against the American people again?
00:06:58.560 Please explain that to me.
00:07:00.020 Please walk me through that.
00:07:03.240 Yeah, I see you, intel agencies.
00:07:05.440 And you're going to be hearing from me very, very soon.
00:07:08.340 We'll be right back.
00:07:08.980 You talk about influences.
00:07:21.080 These are influences.
00:07:22.960 And they're friends of mine.
00:07:25.340 Jack Persovic.
00:07:26.840 Where's Jack?
00:07:27.800 Jack.
00:07:28.780 He's done a great job.
00:07:30.220 All right, Jack Persovic.
00:07:33.980 We are back live here, Human Events Daily, Washington, D.C. via phone.
00:07:37.780 I'm very honored that once again we have Senator Ron Johnson from the great state of Wisconsin
00:07:44.360 who is joining us.
00:07:46.000 Senator, how are you today?
00:07:47.680 I'm doing well, Jack.
00:07:48.580 Merry Christmas to you and your listeners.
00:07:51.060 Merry Christmas as well.
00:07:52.400 Senator, we've just been pouring over this continuing resolution since really last night
00:07:57.820 and into this morning in addition to some of the other stories.
00:08:00.640 Can I get your take on this latest spending bill out of the House?
00:08:03.980 Sure.
00:08:04.680 I don't know what congressional leadership doesn't understand about a clean CR.
00:08:12.140 What's the difference between this 1,500-page CR loaded with pork and an omnibus spending
00:08:19.160 bill for three months?
00:08:21.440 Again, 1,500 pages.
00:08:22.940 Nobody's seen it.
00:08:24.340 We're only going to start getting into details.
00:08:26.280 I'm sure there are things that are going to be overlooked that are pretty nasty in this
00:08:29.580 as well.
00:08:29.960 So if this passes, it's certainly going to pass without my support.
00:08:34.180 It's, again, it's just disappointing.
00:08:36.080 Well, and can you contrast that a little bit with this?
00:08:42.200 And we've been talking about how Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have come up there and
00:08:47.560 said they were having this Doge meeting and Department of Government efficiency and we're
00:08:51.680 going to cut spending.
00:08:52.780 And all of these leaders are running over to Elon and saying we're going to do all this.
00:08:58.280 And then it feels like they turn around and do the exact opposite.
00:09:01.980 They do.
00:09:03.640 Talk out of both sides of their mouth.
00:09:05.180 You know, just to give you some numbers, in 2019, we spent $4.4 trillion total.
00:09:11.580 Last year, this year, you know, we haven't closed out the books totally, but the fiscal
00:09:15.620 year that ended September 30th, we spent $6.9 trillion.
00:09:20.120 So spending increased 55% over five years, while population only grew 2%.
00:09:25.980 If you would have just grown spending from 2019 at the rate of inflation and population
00:09:32.620 growth, we'd be spending about $5.7 trillion.
00:09:35.600 And the extent that we spent over that reasonable baseline represents about $8.8 trillion of excess
00:09:42.900 spending.
00:09:43.380 Plus, you know, everybody says, well, it's mandatory spending.
00:09:47.780 It is, okay?
00:09:49.120 We've increased other mandatory spending.
00:09:51.440 Now, that's not including Social Security, Medicare, or even Medicaid.
00:09:55.740 But other mandatory spending, which is the game they've been playing, they transfer discretionary
00:09:59.820 spending into what they call mandatory accounts.
00:10:02.680 So it's kind of off the books, just gets spent automatically.
00:10:06.860 We've increased that by about $680 billion per year since that 2019 baseline.
00:10:14.420 That represents about $6.8 trillion of spending cuts over 10 years, at least to evaluate for
00:10:21.500 spending cuts.
00:10:22.980 And yet, we're spending these enormous sums in the CR.
00:10:28.020 No, it's just disgusting, Jack.
00:10:30.260 You can hear the frustration in my voice.
00:10:33.200 Well, I certainly can, Senator.
00:10:36.840 And what is it about this, then?
00:10:38.860 I mean, you hear, and Republicans typically run on these ideas of cutting spending, certainly
00:10:44.900 cutting wasteful spending was a huge part of the 2024 election.
00:10:48.880 And then you get bills like this that are dumped on the congressional laps, and we're told,
00:10:56.620 you have to sign this, you know, buy clothes of business, or else the government's going
00:11:00.900 to be shut down, and you're going to get blamed on you.
00:11:04.080 Well, the problem is you have Democrats in lockstep that all they ever want to do is
00:11:08.260 spend money we don't have, mortgage our children's future, and we don't have enough Republicans
00:11:12.800 that are willing to dig their heels and say, we can't keep doing this.
00:11:16.460 We've got too many Republicans that are afraid of their own shadow and realize that, boy,
00:11:21.440 if I don't increase spending on this priority by hundreds of billions of dollars, I'm going
00:11:26.400 to be accused of starving women and children.
00:11:28.420 Or they just have to spend more money on defense, or, you know, fill in the spending priority.
00:11:33.560 I didn't hear this directly, but I've heard Mitch McConnell, for example, say, show me
00:11:37.240 one member of Congress who ever lost the election because they spent too much money.
00:11:40.880 I think that's pretty much the prevailing attitude around here.
00:11:43.280 You don't get in trouble for spending too much money, mortgaging our children's future.
00:11:47.480 You get in trouble if you vote against something that some constituency wants and will scream
00:11:53.160 about and put political pressure on you to support.
00:11:57.880 And now then, is that then basically how many of these, and I'm not going to ask you
00:12:04.120 to necessarily give out any private information, but is that the same type of sentiment that
00:12:09.960 you hear from your colleagues when it comes to these bills?
00:12:12.200 Yeah, I mean, right now we are probably going to pass, unfortunately, the Social Security
00:12:17.960 Fairness Act.
00:12:19.300 Now, there's nothing fair about it at all.
00:12:20.600 There's a problem.
00:12:22.080 There's a problem with Social Security, no doubt about it.
00:12:24.160 It needs to be fixed, but we can fix it probably for about $25 billion.
00:12:27.420 Instead, we're going to pass something that's going to cost $200 billion, bring the insolvency
00:12:34.120 of Social Security Trust Fund forward by about six months.
00:12:37.540 But it's going to be done on a bipartisan basis.
00:12:39.140 And unfortunately, President Trump is supportive of this right now, which is going to be a determining
00:12:44.220 factor.
00:12:44.760 This will probably pass unless we can talk him out of it within the next 10, 15 minutes.
00:12:52.600 Well, I think that is exactly right.
00:12:55.900 And Senator, I understand that you do have to be going.
00:12:59.280 Is there anything you can tell us just very quickly about the Trump nominees?
00:13:03.180 I understand you've had a number of meetings.
00:13:05.300 How do you see them proceeding on the Hill?
00:13:07.060 Well, I think most Republicans realize President Trump won a convincing election deserves to
00:13:12.280 staff the administration, people he want.
00:13:14.220 These are smart people.
00:13:15.440 They are fighters.
00:13:16.380 That's exactly the kind of people President Trump needs to populate these agencies so
00:13:21.600 he isn't sabotaged and undermined by the government.
00:13:24.480 He's going to try and govern.
00:13:26.700 Well, I think that's exactly right.
00:13:28.540 Senator, thank you so much for your time.
00:13:30.240 I understand you have to get going.
00:13:31.840 But let me just say to you, Merry Christmas and hope to see you soon.
00:13:35.800 Merry Christmas to you.
00:13:36.660 God bless you.
00:13:38.120 Merry Christmas.
00:13:38.760 God bless.
00:13:39.720 So, folks, you know, that's that's Senator Ron Johnson graciously giving us a little bit
00:13:44.260 of time there to hop on the show and really get into this CR.
00:13:50.220 Obviously, you know, we haven't all had a lot of time to dig into it.
00:13:53.780 But that's the point, right?
00:13:55.500 The point is that we shouldn't run a government this way.
00:13:58.900 And when Elon and Vivek and so many people want to pop up and say, hey, this is the way
00:14:04.320 we should do things, then really that is the issue, isn't it, folks?
00:14:09.320 The issue is, do you want to cut spending?
00:14:13.340 Do you want to actually do something to reduce the not just the size of the government and the
00:14:19.060 idea of the government, but reduce just the absolute waste?
00:14:22.460 And by the way, the power that is represented in this money, OK, and the State Department
00:14:29.700 Global Engagement Center, by the way, that's something that gets extended for, I think,
00:14:33.620 a year, something that I know Mike Benz and many others, this censorship apparatus that
00:14:38.840 still sits there.
00:14:39.560 It was set to be killed.
00:14:41.120 It was set to be killed.
00:14:42.280 And now it actually gets extended in this bill.
00:14:44.540 See, you have to look for specific things in these bills.
00:14:48.140 So you could have one spending bill where it looks like it's being cut.
00:14:51.760 And then the next, which is the NDAA, and then you get the next spending bill pops out
00:14:55.800 and suddenly it's like, oh, no, it is being returned to life again, like some sort of weird
00:15:00.980 Dr.
00:15:01.420 Frankenstein creation.
00:15:03.140 Now, that said, there are a few, few options, you know, potentially, I don't know, like what
00:15:09.460 would it be like if you kept it open, but you took a guy like Mike Benz and put him in
00:15:15.580 charge of it.
00:15:17.380 I'd be open to those discussions.
00:15:19.280 You know, I'd zero out the budget, but I'd be open to those discussions.
00:15:23.140 I'm just saying, I want to know where exactly it is that all the bodies are buried.
00:15:30.860 But the question before us here is, will this set up a leadership fight for Speaker Johnson?
00:15:40.560 And I think a lot of people are now saying this.
00:15:44.280 Stephen K.
00:15:44.640 Bannon said that this morning.
00:15:46.340 And we know, we know that this is something that quite frankly, that he promised, that
00:15:53.180 he promised that we would do government efficiency.
00:15:56.000 He promised that we would cut spending and now we get a bill like this.
00:16:01.440 So it's really up to a lot of people.
00:16:03.580 I'm willing to see where the, where the president goes with this, but I'm also willing to see
00:16:07.920 what does Elon have to say about this?
00:16:10.140 What does Elon Musk have to say about the fact that he was lied to, to his face?
00:16:15.200 What did you get done today?
00:16:17.080 Remember that text?
00:16:18.100 Remember that text that he sent Parag, the former CEO of Twitter now X before he fired him?
00:16:24.300 What did you get done today?
00:16:26.700 Don't sit there and complain to me and don't lie to me and do all this.
00:16:32.120 You know, in military, we used to have a, have an expression.
00:16:34.020 What's the maximum effective range of an excuse?
00:16:36.840 What's the maximum effective range of an excuse?
00:16:40.760 The maximum effective range of an excuse is zero.
00:16:45.300 It is zero feet, zero meters.
00:16:48.940 None.
00:16:49.500 There is no effective range because excuses don't do anything.
00:16:55.580 And so all you're going to get back is excuse.
00:16:57.680 How much did you cut?
00:16:58.940 How much did you cut?
00:17:00.080 Well, and then you get the, you get the Washington two-step.
00:17:04.100 You get the Washington, well, and then you're jumping into the swamp with two feet and the

00:19:08.780 All right, Jack Posobiec, we're back here.
00:19:10.600 Human Events Daily.
00:19:11.460 Folks, we are in crunch time right now.
00:19:13.200 A new administration is going to be sworn in very, very soon.
00:19:17.100 But as great as that is, it also means our enemies have just days left to stir up trouble.
00:19:22.420 And that could mean a cyber attack, an invasion, or God forbid, a nuclear strike.
00:19:28.040 So until the long-term bureaucrats are out of Washington, I'm not taking any chances.
00:19:33.240 That's why I have an emergency food supply from My Patriot Supply.
00:19:37.220 Right now, they're offering $100 off their three-month emergency food kit.
00:19:41.140 It's got 2,000 calories per day for three whole months.

00:20:14.380 That's MyPatriotSupply.com.
00:20:17.240 Okay, very excited for our next guest, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:21.480 We've got Kenny Cody from Humanevents.com, great columnist, joining us.
00:20:26.080 Kenny, what's up, man?
00:20:27.540 Hey, Jack.
00:20:28.240 How are you, brother?
00:20:29.900 All right.
00:20:30.520 So, Kenny, this thing that I got to talk to you about, man, it's President Trump's nominees.
00:20:36.780 And I understand you've got this great new column up about Pete Hegseth and Hunter Biden.
00:20:41.360 But the one that they're really going after all of a sudden is Tulsi Gabbard.
00:20:46.380 I don't know if you saw.
00:20:47.420 There was this story out of Reuters late last night that dropped eight senators.
00:20:51.420 Eight senators secretly, you know, have problems with Tulsi Gabbard.
00:20:55.820 And I started calling around.
00:20:56.940 I said, well, what are the issues?
00:20:58.440 First of all, no one can tell me who the eight senators are, not a single person.
00:21:03.220 And I'm like, okay.
00:21:04.780 So that right there tells me that that's an issue.
00:21:07.220 But the other thing is, well, what is the issue they have with her?
00:21:10.400 What are the problems?
00:21:11.480 And they say, oh, well, it has to do with the 702 Pfizer surveillance.
00:21:16.940 What has to do with the 702 Pfizer surveillance?
00:21:19.060 Because as it turns out, that Tulsi Gabbard actually wants to do something to curtail the
00:21:25.120 surveillance capabilities of the national security state on the American people.
00:21:31.080 So, Kenny, I've realized that this is the new tactic.
00:21:33.980 And I think that we need to take time to see how they're changing tactics on Tulsi Gabbard.
00:21:40.020 See, they've dropped the idea that she's a Russian asset or an Assad plant or, you know,
00:21:46.200 any of this nonsense.
00:21:47.040 Of course, which doesn't make any sense because she's a lieutenant colonel who's currently serving
00:21:50.460 in the Guard and has top TS security clearance.
00:21:54.580 But also the idea then is now that it was just it wasn't catching.
00:21:58.740 There were too many veterans, myself included.
00:22:00.500 They came out to support her.
00:22:01.560 And now they're saying, oh, she doesn't know the job.
00:22:04.200 She doesn't understand how important we are.
00:22:06.460 Kenny, why should we trust the national security state over someone that President Trump has picked?
00:22:14.860 Well, we shouldn't.
00:22:16.080 And it's basically as simple as that.
00:22:17.920 I mean, Tulsi Gabbard wants to get in and reform our intelligence community.
00:22:22.080 She wants to get in and give the rights back to the American people, those that were trampled
00:22:25.540 on by the Patriot Act, those that neoconservatives and Democrats for nearly 25 to 30 to 40 years
00:22:32.060 have impacted the American people in robbing them of their surveillance, robbing them of
00:22:36.100 their privacy.
00:22:37.300 And, you know, the NSA, the National Intelligence Agency, every director of the national, of
00:22:43.520 national intelligence that hasn't been under Donald Trump all want to spy on the American
00:22:47.800 people.
00:22:48.380 They want to, you know, rob and take away the right to privacy.
00:22:51.620 They want to rob and take away the rights to not look at what the government's actually
00:22:55.640 doing in trying to infiltrate the lives of the American people instead of actually looking
00:22:59.460 into foreign adversaries or even domestic adversaries of those who have actually committed
00:23:04.400 crimes against the United States that don't care about the American people.
00:23:08.520 They don't want us to look into what the government is doing and the basically just the adversaries
00:23:13.980 that they're refusing to take on.
00:23:15.720 And they're making an enemy of the American people.
00:23:18.460 They're not looking into foreign adversaries, into foreign countries.
00:23:21.620 They're not looking into cultural Marxism.
00:23:24.400 They're not looking into communists within our country, the unhumans of our country.
00:23:28.540 They're looking into the patriotic Americans that have voted in Donald Trump, that support
00:23:34.480 people like Tulsi Gabbard, that want to see an abolishment of the deep state and want to
00:23:39.560 see the things like the NSA, the CIA, the FBI all be shrunk down to the minimalist possibility
00:23:46.080 that they will infiltrate on the lives of the American people.
00:23:49.320 That's why we're seeing this, you know, the tossing of her, that she's an Assad sympathizer,
00:23:54.260 that she's a Russian sympathizer.
00:23:55.920 We're seeing that all be thrown out the window and just be straight up honest and saying,
00:24:00.100 hey, we don't want Tulsi Gabbard to look into the incompetency of our own government and
00:24:04.780 the infiltration on privacy rights that we're having on Americans.
00:24:08.020 So you should oppose her nomination.
00:24:10.120 And I don't believe for a second that eight senators opposed Tulsi Gabbard.
00:24:14.740 Maybe Lisa Markowski, maybe Lindsey Graham, maybe Susan Collins.
00:24:18.620 But I think the eight number is nonsense.
00:24:20.660 They've probably taken some quote out of context.
00:24:22.940 And there's only a few no votes there to get.
00:24:25.740 And the rest of them are scared to oppose Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
00:24:28.840 And we're seeing that be basically delved out into the American public right now.
00:24:32.420 So let me break this down for people.
00:24:35.460 So and I'll put my intel officer hat on here for a second.
00:24:39.160 FISA 702 is different from your FISA Article 1 situation.
00:24:44.340 So Article 1 is when you go to the FISA court and, you know, when you're the FBI, you lie
00:24:49.060 to the FISA court and you tell them that Donald Trump is a Russian agent and that George Papadopoulos
00:24:53.780 and Carter Page are Russian agents.
00:24:55.880 And then you obtain your FISA warrant on them.
00:24:59.080 And by the way, Roger Stone, which the New York Times reported on the day of President
00:25:04.160 Trump's inauguration in 2017, which, of course, has never been followed up on by anyone.
00:25:09.060 Boy, I hope Kash Patel gets to the bottom of that.
00:25:11.660 But FISA, so but that includes an actual court with an actual warrant, even if the warrant
00:25:16.740 is obtained through through lying to that court, as the FBI does.
00:25:21.380 Then when it comes to 702, 702 is a little bit different.
00:25:24.640 So 702, which is a section of the FISA Act, which requires reauthorization and kind of
00:25:33.380 just like the CR, it just always gets reauthorized, even though so many Republicans always say they're
00:25:38.520 going to do something about it, but never do.
00:25:41.520 That 702 is when you're supposed to be spying on overseas adversaries.
00:25:47.160 And so the issue with that is, let's say you're, oh, I don't know, the ambassador to Russia
00:25:52.600 and the U.S. government is spying on you.
00:25:55.960 But then the ambassador to Russia calls someone who is the president elect's incoming national
00:26:02.260 security advisor named, I'm just going to pick a random name out of my hat here, like,
00:26:06.260 I don't know, Mike Flynn.
00:26:07.960 And now the U.S. government can hear Mike Flynn's phone calls because they're listening to the
00:26:16.480 Russian ambassador.
00:26:17.700 And here's the best part.
00:26:19.140 There's no warrant needed whatsoever.
00:26:23.620 There's no information needed.
00:26:25.860 They can listen to it to their heart's content.
00:26:27.940 This is most likely, by the way, how Tucker Carlson's communications with Russia were leaked
00:26:34.060 back when he would try to interview Putin for the very first time.
00:26:37.320 And he talked about this on his show.
00:26:39.320 So 702 collection, by the way, that information on Mike Flynn, those transcripts were then highly
00:26:46.960 illegally leaked to the Washington Post and their columnist, the stenographer for the CIA
00:26:53.120 over there named David Ignatius.
00:26:55.900 And so that leak, which, you know, I don't know, Susan Rice, who could possibly have done
00:27:02.140 that or Jake Sullivan would know who I'm sorry, just coming down with something.
00:27:08.920 It's that time of year.
00:27:09.540 I suppose, folks, get your mucinex in that that has never been charged.
00:27:16.200 No one's ever looked into that.
00:27:17.720 So, Kenny, when it comes to something like 702, when Tulsi Gabbard is saying, look, we need
00:27:22.760 to have some kind of protections in this process, does it really make sense for Republican senators
00:27:28.220 to try to say that she should be held up on this?
00:27:31.060 It doesn't make sense for conservative senators, but it does make sense for neoconservative senators.
00:27:36.540 They want to uphold the deep state.
00:27:38.260 They want to oppose the Trump agenda.
00:27:40.060 This whole new reform that Elon Musk, Vivek Ramoswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, Robert F. Kennedy MP,
00:27:45.420 Hexeth want to upend and turn on its head is the same ones that these neoconservatives want
00:27:50.120 to oppose, and the reason that they're going to all these news agencies and saying, well,
00:27:53.780 we have doubts and we have concerns, they're trying to create a movement against Tulsi Gabbard
00:27:59.660 because they're not willing to come out in public and say it.
00:28:02.300 You know, there are plenty of neoconservatives that are U.S. senators in the United States Senate
00:28:07.100 that would not dare speak out against Donald Trump, that would not dare speak out against
00:28:12.460 these nominees because they're afraid to get primaried and they're afraid of the MAGA movement.
00:28:17.020 But it makes complete sense that these neoconservatives want to uphold these FISA laws.
00:28:23.540 They want to uphold these parts of this policy that allow spying on conservatives, that allow
00:28:28.620 spying on those who oppose the deep state.
00:28:31.120 Like you're saying, like with the examples in Russia, Hunter Carlson of Mike Flynn, these
00:28:36.920 things have 100 percent happened in our American government over the last two decades.
00:28:41.520 They have taken advantage of these policies that have been passed by the old country club neoconservative
00:28:47.000 Republicans and not the MAGA conservatives that are wanting to reform it.
00:28:51.100 And I think that's what we have to keep in mind.
00:28:53.120 The press is getting leaked these rumors because they want to upend and they don't want to oppose
00:28:59.260 and don't want to risk their own political hide and political careers by risking a primary,
00:29:04.560 by voting no on Hagseth, by voting no on Gabbard, by voting no on Kennedy because they're cowards.
00:29:09.260 And we have to be – I wish that these press – if there are actual U.S. senators, not
00:29:14.440 just staff aides, not just connections, if there are actual senators texting the press,
00:29:19.720 just be open and out about how you oppose Tulsi Gabbard or that you oppose Kennedy and
00:29:25.260 let us primary you and be out and not be cowards like you have been your entire tenure.
00:29:30.420 Just be upholding of the same neoconservative country club principles that you have continued
00:29:37.400 to uphold over the last two decades.
00:29:40.540 Don't lie.
00:29:41.660 Don't pretend to be a MAGA conservative.
00:29:44.240 Just be out and up front about the lying pieces of garbage that you are that are trying
00:29:50.180 to go against Trump's nominations.
00:29:53.060 And just be honest.
00:29:54.240 Don't run to NBC, CNN, MSNBC or any of those noise organizations or The Hill or any of those
00:29:59.820 Washington publications that you have these sources too.
00:30:03.260 Be up front about your criticisms, be up front about your critiques, and be honest about who
00:30:07.520 you actually are as conservative and don't actually lie to the Republican Party or the
00:30:12.200 Trump – or to the Trump movement or the Trump supporters that voted you, the House of
00:30:17.720 Representatives, and Trump back into office.
00:30:20.600 Look, it's real simple.
00:30:22.840 Donald Trump won the mandate.
00:30:24.860 Donald Trump's nominees deserve the chance to get in.
00:30:28.620 And someone like Donald Trump, who was a victim himself of 702 abuse and FISA abuse, I think
00:30:37.340 is the perfect person for this.
00:30:40.180 Kenny, Cody, where can people go to follow you, brother?
00:30:42.660 At katiecodytn on Truth Social and X.
00:30:45.480 And you can find all of my articles archived at muckrack.com.
00:30:48.720 I appreciate you, Jack.
00:30:49.380 Thank you so much, man.
00:30:50.320 Of course.
00:30:50.800 And Kenny, by the way, Merry Christmas if I don't happen to see you, man.
00:30:53.940 Absolutely, brother.
00:30:54.660 Merry Christmas to you and your family, man.
00:30:56.860 All right.
00:30:57.200 Take care.
00:30:57.700 All right, folks.
00:30:58.560 We'll be back in the next segment here with Mike Davis because we're having a little
00:31:03.360 chat, a little chitty chat about the IG report that just came out.
00:31:07.900 Stay tuned.
00:31:16.420 Where is Jack?
00:31:18.860 Where is Jack?
00:31:21.160 Where is he?
00:31:22.500 Jack, I want to see you.
00:31:24.020 Great job, Jack.
00:31:27.680 Thank you.
00:31:28.460 What a job you do.
00:31:29.860 You know, we have an incredible thing.
00:31:31.260 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the
00:31:35.720 guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:31:37.020 All right, Jack Posobiec, we are back here, Human Events Daily.
00:31:42.740 We're working on getting Mike Davis on here, but breaking news just before we went to air
00:31:50.160 today or just after, the Federal Reserve's Jerome Powell just announced cutting interest
00:31:55.320 rates by 0.25% to $4.50.
00:31:59.740 You know, it is a small cut, but it is a cut that is certain, absolutely certain to have
00:32:06.340 an effect going in.
00:32:07.800 And I'll just say this, you know, going into the holiday season, the Christmas season, and
00:32:12.300 then also, you know, Zero Hedge just tweeted, remember when the Fed panicked and cut 50 basis
00:32:19.500 points less than three months ago?
00:32:22.140 And so, yeah, the countdown, they're talking about a potential for a recession in 2025.
00:32:28.980 They're talking about the fact that Trump will be blamed for this, even though, of course,
00:32:33.860 it's not Trump's fault.
00:32:35.440 And the next debt step function will be $15 trillion in debt to current baseline to expect
00:32:39.980 $50 trillion in two years.
00:32:42.840 And basically, this is what's going on.
00:32:45.340 Kiss the 2% inflation target, goodbye forever.
00:32:48.220 The new question is, when does the Fed admit that 4% inflation is the new baseline?
00:32:53.820 And that means, of course, they are trying to inflate away the $36 trillion in debt.
00:33:00.760 So good luck with that.
00:33:02.660 What's going on here?
00:33:03.940 What's going on here is this is a less aggressive cut than they that they were planning to do.
00:33:09.720 They were hoping to do.
00:33:11.360 And the unemployment rate, they're saying probably basically unchanged from that.
00:33:15.780 The inflation data is, you know, probably not going to change as much as they would have
00:33:22.240 hoped either.
00:33:23.820 And so, folks, when we as we go into this Christmas season, you got to understand that you got to
00:33:29.640 understand that times feel good right now.
00:33:31.660 But there's a lot of I'm just going to put it out.
00:33:34.360 I'm just going to put it out.
00:33:35.780 There's a lot of signal and producer Foss here on the program has been chatting about it.
00:33:40.320 There's a lot of there's a lot of information that's been put out about uncertainty in these
00:33:46.960 financial markets.
00:33:48.540 And that uncertainty, by the way, would have been the same way if Kamala Harris had been
00:33:52.320 there.
00:33:52.860 But it has to do with the insane printing and inflation that's come out of the Fed over the
00:33:59.300 last couple of years to the point where, yeah, you know, what are we going to do with this
00:34:03.400 debt bubble that we've got a debt bubble that the CR isn't going to be helping at all?
00:34:07.020 Well, they're going to try to inflate it away.
00:34:09.460 They're just going to try to inflate it away.
00:34:10.920 The money printer is going to go bar and unfortunately, the people who could be on the
00:34:17.380 hook are us.
00:34:18.500 And so I'm just going to say to, you know, to your families and to everyone else, you
00:34:22.520 know, you got to be ready for that and you got to be ready from a personal level as well.
00:34:27.560 Now, for the country, of course, it's going to be, you know, it's going to be rough.
00:34:32.820 You know, it's going to be rough.
00:34:33.880 This is certainly going to have an effect on midterms.
00:34:35.920 The question is, can President Trump and Scott Besson?
00:34:38.820 So Scott Besson is going to, by the way, and I'll just tell you, I've talked to Steve
00:34:41.940 Bannon about this.
00:34:43.160 I've talked to the, you know, to him specifically.
00:34:45.780 I say, look, a lot of these finance guys tell me there's this debt bomb that's going
00:34:49.000 to go off in early part of 2025.
00:34:52.780 Are you guys ready for that?
00:34:53.840 Do you understand that?
00:34:54.940 What does that mean?
00:34:56.280 Is it going to help people or not?
00:34:57.780 Jerome Powell definitely doesn't seem like the right guy.
00:34:59.800 And Bannon has always said to me that he believes Scott Besson is the guy to get that done.
00:35:04.720 This, of course, being the reason that President Trump eventually gave him the pick.
00:35:09.680 President Trump, of course, the man of the year.
00:35:12.940 And so when it comes down to this, we really do have to ask the question, all right, what
00:35:18.500 ways are the regime going to strike back?
00:35:22.520 And this idea of a debt bomb going off being totally blamed on President Trump.
00:35:26.960 By the way, that's why you should be cutting spending now to show at least that you are
00:35:33.420 not trying to be on the same side as the massive profligate spenders that are going to that
00:35:37.880 got us into this situation in the first place.
00:35:40.800 And they don't care.
00:35:41.780 Joe Biden is pulling the ladder up behind him saying, oh, yeah, I sent all that money to
00:35:45.300 Ukraine.
00:35:46.020 And, you know, my my son Hunter was able to rake off whatever he could in the middle.
00:35:49.900 And who cares?
00:35:50.940 Who cares?
00:35:51.760 Because I'm getting out of office.
00:35:53.340 I'm getting out of Dodge.
00:35:54.440 You guys are going to be the ones holding the bag.
00:35:56.960 And of course, President Trump would be blamed.
00:35:58.700 And then going into midterms, you know, if you have any economic issues in place, you're
00:36:03.320 going to have that.
00:36:04.100 And look, this is also going to create issues for supply chain because of President Trump
00:36:08.600 saying, look, we're going to do anything with tariffs.
00:36:10.620 Then people are going to blame the tariffs.
00:36:12.180 They're going to blame everything that President Trump does rather than what's actually going
00:36:16.840 on.
00:36:17.120 Guys, we're working on Davis.
00:36:18.780 Do we have Davis?
00:36:21.380 Mike Davis, how are you, man?
00:36:24.440 Guys, I think I don't think we have Davis's audio.
00:36:28.960 Let's let's do an audio check before we're there.
00:36:31.600 Oh, there we are.
00:36:33.880 Davis, just just a couple of minutes.
00:36:36.660 Davis, just a couple of minutes on this.
00:36:38.700 You know, the huge Liz Cheney story that dropped yesterday.
00:36:41.440 What kind of legal repercussions could she be facing?
00:36:45.940 And even potentially Alyssa Farah, who seems to have played a role in this, someone who
00:36:51.420 is, you know, a very high profile member of the view in her own right.
00:36:56.520 So the text messages and other evidence strongly suggest that Liz Cheney worked with Cassidy Hutchinson
00:37:08.380 and maybe Alyssa Farah to change sworn testimony before Congress.
00:37:14.300 And if that is actually true, if they conspired together to provide false testimony to Congress,
00:37:22.780 change testimony, you have many potential federal crimes.
00:37:26.740 Perjury, subvenation of perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, conspiracy.
00:37:35.660 These are very serious federal crimes that could be occurring here.
00:37:42.720 And I would suggest to Liz Cheney that she should probably lawyer up because as she used
00:37:50.860 to say all the time during these January 6th proceedings, nobody's above the law.
00:37:57.380 It's as simple as that.
00:37:58.660 No one's above law.
00:37:59.580 Look, witness and I know I understand that America versus legal has already filed a bar
00:38:03.840 complaint in Washington, D.C. over this.
00:38:06.580 I mean, this is like I mean, this is like one on one level stuff in law school, right?
00:38:10.460 This is like this is like, you know, law school year one kind of stuff.
00:38:15.440 Yeah, I mean, one of the things that Liz Cheney, an attorney, did that, if true, is very unethical
00:38:21.340 is she knew, allegedly knew that Cassidy Hutchinson was represented by an attorney.
00:38:29.680 And as an attorney, you could not go around another attorney's back and go talk to their
00:38:36.300 clients without disclosing that to the attorney and getting permission to do that.
00:38:41.320 And so that is a very serious ethical lapse by Liz Cheney if that ends up being true.
00:38:48.200 So not only would Liz Cheney face potential criminal exposure, she could face bar discipline
00:38:55.260 up to and including disbarment.
00:38:59.680 So disbarment, that's the first one.
00:39:02.040 But I mean, we're talking witness tampering.
00:39:04.160 We're talking potential conspiracy against rights.
00:39:07.100 We're talking destruction of evidence, by the way, which would pertain to that.
00:39:14.200 I mean, these are crimes, if I'm correct.
00:39:17.760 Yeah, absolutely.
00:39:18.340 And if you're destroying evidence that helps a defendant, then you're exposing yourself to
00:39:27.100 civil liability for violating that defendant's criminal rights.
00:39:31.900 And you have to ask, we have this potentially exculpatory evidence that the January 6th committee
00:39:38.840 had that they've doctored, that they've changed.
00:39:42.240 How is that not obstruction of justice?
00:39:44.460 How, when the Biden Justice Department is working with the January 6th committee and they're
00:39:49.860 not turning over this exculpatory evidence to these defendants, that is a Brady violation,
00:39:56.460 another very serious misconduct by federal prosecutors and agents.
00:40:04.100 No, this is, and look, when it comes, look, Davis, and just last minute, because unfortunately
00:40:09.120 we have a short time, but this is basically what President Trump was talking about.
00:40:13.240 We have to review the lawlessness that was done by the lawfare wielders.
00:40:19.200 Yeah, I would strongly recommend that Attorney General Pam Bondi open a criminal probe and
00:40:26.400 a grand jury down in the Southern District of Florida, the Fort Pierce Division, a special
00:40:31.760 grand jury to investigate this entire lawfare and election interference against Trump.
00:40:37.280 His top aide, Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, who went to prison.
00:40:40.380 His supporters on January 6th, what happened, what happened here with this January 6th commission
00:40:47.400 with Matthew Graves in D.C., Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, Tish James, Fannie Willis, this looks
00:40:53.200 like a very serious criminal conspiracy against rights under 18 U.S.C. Section 241, and there
00:41:00.260 must be consequences to this.
00:41:03.340 Consequences.
00:41:04.100 We're talking about actual justice for actual wrongdoing.
00:41:07.920 Mike Davis, thanks so much, man.
00:41:09.140 Make sure you're following Davis and the Article 3 Project.
00:41:12.860 Stay tuned.
00:41:13.680 We have a very, very special segment, a little surprise, a human event, first time, first
00:41:18.600 time event for you in the last segment.
00:41:21.420 Stay tuned.

00:41:35.900 Everybody's talking about it.
00:41:37.140 Go get it.
00:41:38.240 And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event.
00:41:42.220 And we're going to turn it around and make our country great to get to him.
00:41:45.500 Amen.

00:43:18.760 That's great.
00:43:19.760 It's an incredible way to do it.
00:43:21.200 And then, boom, you know it's going to be a present that actually gets used and doesn't
00:43:26.920 end up in the garage or the shed like so many of those Christmas presents.
00:43:33.440 Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash POSO.
00:43:37.140 So something interesting happened this week.
00:43:39.720 There was a TikTok that went viral yesterday of a liberal calling for an insurrection at
00:43:45.120 Trump's inauguration.
00:43:46.480 Let's play that video.
00:43:47.880 And let's get our country back, right?
00:43:50.060 Next week, the Friday, I have a feeling this executive order 13848 will be implemented.
00:43:57.840 And if not, a month from then, December 20th to January 20th, the day of the inauguration,
00:44:05.340 we, the people, are going to have to show up in Washington and have this guy step down.
00:44:12.840 The 3% rule states that if you have 3% of a group of people's population, 3% of a particular
00:44:19.040 population, if they gather in mass, they can change everything.
00:44:23.080 So we have 330 million Americans, 10% of that is 33 million.
00:44:30.460 And what's a third of that?
00:44:32.520 11 million.
00:44:33.660 11 million of us have to show up on Washington.
00:44:36.060 Wow, insurrection, 11 million liberals showing up on Washington sounds really rough.
00:44:44.120 But then we found another video on Jerry Duran's TikTok.
00:44:49.700 Let's play that again.
00:44:50.420 I need some reassurance from you.
00:44:52.780 I'm a little distraught.
00:44:53.960 I saw the clip from the Eagles game.
00:44:55.840 And these two guys are walking up the stands with their MAGA hats and waving their MAGA
00:44:59.580 hats around in a sea of green.
00:45:01.220 And no one, no one did anything.
00:45:05.280 I mean, you know, what are you going to spend the night in jail, get a fine?
00:45:08.440 I would have taken their f***ing hats off and stomped on them.
00:45:11.580 Maybe mock, wipe my a** with one.
00:45:13.580 And if they would have come at me, then I'd have to defend myself.
00:45:15.860 To walk up blatantly during a game waving around your MAGA hats, which you might as well
00:45:19.760 wave around the Confederate flag.
00:45:21.340 I mean, half the country, more than half, doesn't want this character in office.
00:45:25.720 Now it's becoming normalized.
00:45:27.660 And I feel disgusted at that.
00:45:29.300 I mean, I'm disgusted that not one Eagles fan can grab those hats and step on them.
00:45:34.860 You didn't feel a certain way about that?
00:45:36.740 Everybody's just turning into sheep?
00:45:39.380 You know, I'm ready to leave this country, man.
00:45:42.380 The Eagles fans, in my area, they allowed two clowns to walk up during a game waving
00:45:48.340 around their MAGA hats, and no one did anything about it.
00:45:52.640 Oh, Jerry.
00:45:54.740 Jerry, Jerry's so upset.
00:45:57.160 Jerry's so sad.
00:45:58.600 He's so sad that he couldn't get the hats off of my brother and I's head at the Eagles
00:46:06.080 game.
00:46:06.380 By the way, somebody did try to get the hats off of our head.
00:46:09.720 We went to Eagles jail over it because we did defend ourselves.
00:46:14.760 You see, we were down there in Eagles jail.
00:46:17.380 We were sitting on the sidelines because we work for a living, and we don't have to sit
00:46:23.720 up in the 500 section where Jerry is.
00:46:26.720 So I guess maybe that's why he didn't see us.
00:46:29.700 Although I do worry about Jerry because it's a little hard for him to get up there given
00:46:33.920 the state of his physical nature right now.
00:46:36.700 But I felt bad about what happened with Jerry.
00:46:40.320 Jerry, I heard the music.
00:46:42.160 I felt so distraught.
00:46:43.060 So I thought, you know what?
00:46:44.440 Let's give Jerry a phone call right now to see whether or not we can make him feel a little
00:46:51.860 better.
00:46:52.240 What do you say, folks?
00:46:53.280 Let's call him right now.
00:46:55.180 Here we go.
00:46:55.920 And we're calling.
00:46:59.740 Let's see.
00:47:00.940 Will Jerry answer the phone?
00:47:04.700 Come on, Jerry.
00:47:05.720 You can do it.
00:47:07.580 Come on, big boy.
00:47:13.660 Come on, Jerry.
00:47:17.660 Oh, you know you want to.
00:47:18.920 Maybe the phone's a little far.
00:47:20.280 Maybe Jerry's having trouble getting to the phone.
00:47:22.240 Oh, he's trying to hit the button right now, but his fingers are slipping because they're
00:47:26.800 so greasy.
00:47:27.520 He was eating fried chicken.
00:47:31.680 Please leave your message for Jerry Doran.
00:47:40.180 Hey, Jerry, this is Jack Posobiec.
00:47:43.640 I saw your video about me and my brother at the Eagles game with our MAGA hats on.
00:47:51.540 And I saw that you were very, very upset about that.
00:47:55.400 I heard the music and I just knew you were so distraught.
00:47:58.980 And so, Jerry, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be at America Fest in Phoenix,
00:48:05.880 Arizona.
00:48:06.740 I'm going to be there at the convention center all weekend.
00:48:10.320 I will personally pay for you to fly out from New Jersey all the way to Phoenix so you can
00:48:19.320 try to get the MAGA hats off of me and my brother's heads.
00:48:24.300 And I'm more than willing to do this because, Jerry, I know that that has just been bothering
00:48:29.880 you so much.
00:48:31.400 So, tell you what, Jerry, you've got my number now.
00:48:34.780 Give me a call.
00:48:37.500 You know, folks, what can I say?
00:48:40.380 What can I say other than the MAGA hat stays on and the MAGA hat will always stay on.
00:48:51.040 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:48:55.460 We'll see you next time.
