00:01:13.920He said that, and I'm not going to get into all the details of a post-arrest interview,
00:01:18.260but he was Mirandized, read his rights.
00:01:21.880He did agree to talk in that post-arrest interview.
00:01:26.300He did say he was targeting the building and he was okay if he hurt or killed people going in and out of the building, whether they were federal employees or civilians.
00:01:36.240A report released Monday by the State Department accusing Cuba of a decades-long influence campaign inciting left-wing extremism in the U.S.
00:01:44.580The document claiming Cuba has infiltrated the highest reaches of the U.S. government,
00:01:49.940backed an unprecedented wave of left-wing terrorism on American soil,
00:01:54.580designed to turn America against itself.
00:01:56.940Other headlines, there's been a firestorm of criticism after Mayor Mamdani doubled down
00:02:02.240on his promise to arrest Israel's prime minister when he arrives in New York for the U.N. General Assembly.
00:02:08.520Political reporter Marcia Kramer has reaction from the president and also local Jewish leaders.
00:02:13.100I believe that when someone is charged with an International Criminal Court warrant, it's something that should be taken seriously, whether it's Benjamin Netanyahu or it's Vladimir Putin or whomever else.
00:02:24.000What I've also made clear is that my administration will follow all applicable local laws.
00:02:29.180A senior administration official says the United States will put in place a 50 percent tariff or tariffs, plural, on three sets of Canadian imports.
00:02:38.820And those categories are cars, dairy and alcohol.
00:02:42.000The battleground state of Arizona is holding its primary elections tomorrow.
00:02:46.840In the race for governor, two congressmen and two businessmen are competing for the Republican nomination.
00:02:52.720Former House Freedom Caucus chair Andy Biggs has the upper hand after winning President Trump's endorsement.
00:02:58.660The winner of this contest will face off against Democratic incumbent governor Katie Hobbs in November.
00:03:03.640Ann Whitacombe was bludgeoned to death, according to prosecutors, and as a man accused of her murder made his first court appearance.
00:03:12.000Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board today's edition of Human Events Daily, here live,
00:22:38.680It should be literally anyone who is a foreign nation or any individual that's being paid for.0.96
00:22:46.620So, Arne, talk to me a little bit about some of the work that you're doing now, you know, kind of exposing this foreign influence, not just on X, but really everywhere in our politics.
00:22:56.020Well, I had Alex Bruzowitz on, who is the Trump social media strategist, and he recounted his experience of basically being approached by a cutout for the Israeli government about receiving millions of dollars so that he could give a pro-Israel messaging strategy on social media around the Iran war.
00:23:18.120And when he turned that offer down, it would appear that they moved on to other another conservative operator who used to be associated with the Trump campaign.
00:23:28.640And it seems like a lot of money exchanged hands.
00:23:31.520And ultimately, we saw a rise in the number of commentators who were messaging on this issue.
00:23:38.180Now, I don't think this is entirely artificial.
00:23:40.520I think there are probably a lot of people who were interested in discussing it, but it's very clear that much of it was promoted and subsidized.
00:23:47.020And it's obviously, as you point out, not just Israel, India, China, Qatar, Russia, they're all spending a lot of money and a lot of time trying to influence American social media, especially in the conservative sphere.
00:24:00.800And one of the reasons is that with the collapse of trust in mainstream media, a lot of people see things like conservative Twitter or other social media spheres as more organic.
00:24:11.620It's something that has a normal energy.
00:24:59.200We say this is deleterious to the Republic, to the United States, and ultimately, we need to have disclosure.0.96
00:25:06.040I agree 100% with Alex, what he said on my show.
00:25:10.340We need to see hard investigations into this, probably extensions of fair laws or strengthening of these kind of policies so that we know when people are being paid for these opinions.
00:25:23.040Yeah, and it's interesting because I used to have this series, and I still kind of do it every once in a while.
00:25:29.200like like meanwhile in poland like there'd be some you know there'd be some horrific act of
00:25:34.160violence or terrorism in the united states and i would just respond with like a picture of poland
00:25:38.460and say meanwhile in poland there's like children playing in the city square or something and you
00:25:44.180know obviously i was doing so to make a point about immigration and make a point about you know
00:25:50.340sort of the broader world that we could have but it would never even occur to me to accept money
00:25:56.240on behalf of a foreign government, even if I agree with a variety of things, maybe not the
00:26:01.720current Polish government, but at least the conservatives in Poland do, but I would never
00:26:06.200take money for something like that, or Japan. You could point to lots of positive things about
00:26:12.420Japanese culture without being paid by them, but you're exactly right that if I were doing so,
00:26:18.260then of course I would want to be tweeting about them more. I would probably have metrics that I
00:26:23.180would need to hit. I would probably have someone looking over my shoulder. Hey, did you make sure
00:26:27.800that you tweeted about Paraguay 100 times today? Did you tweet about Israel 100 times? Did you
00:26:32.420call out certain individuals 100 times a day? This is a huge problem, and it's absolutely going to
00:26:39.780fray our politics, and we can't have it happen. It's really as simple as that. So, Arne, I want
00:26:45.000to say thank you for your work on it, and we're going to do what we can here at Human Events Daily
00:27:19.820where's jack where is he jack i want to see you
00:27:36.620great job jack thank you what a job you do you know we have an incredible thing we're always
00:27:44.080talking about the fake news and the bad but we have guys and these are the guys should be getting
00:27:49.040policies all right folks jack posovic back live here human events daily real america's voice i
00:28:02.080want to keep riding this this topic of the foreign influence campaigns on x and uh nikita um nikita
00:28:10.400bear over on x the head of product says that it is now going to be investigated i want to get rich
00:28:15.760Barris on here, the People's Plundid, because Rich has talked about this quite a bit. Rich,
00:28:20.520how are you? Living the dream, brother. Thanks for having me as always.
00:28:24.980Yeah, of course. And by the way, congrats on having President Trump tweet out your poll there
00:28:30.320on the popularity of the peace deal that was at least the popularity of the Iran ceasefire deal.
00:28:39.920Yeah, and thanks. And I'm hoping that that's a signal change. Jack, we'll see.
00:28:45.760It may be because I saw the White House. It wasn't just like it wasn't just one of those ones where like the president just tweets out something and then like everybody drops it because I saw the White House actually went and they made a graph based on it and they tweeted that as well, backing it up.
00:29:00.140So, you know, perhaps that was a signal. Who knows? Big data poll may be, you know, maybe playing a role in the negotiations between the United States and Iran. Can you believe it?
00:29:12.860i mean once upon a time never but here we are and god be praised here we are here we are that's what
00:29:20.080it's all about brother glory but look what we're talking about we're you know we're talking about
00:29:23.740influence campaigns perhaps that was one the president in the white house are using on the
00:29:28.020iranians uh which is totally fair game of course it's literally his job but one of the things that
00:29:34.180charlie kirk tweeted one of the last things that he tweeted one of the last missions that i think he
00:29:39.820left for us is to get foreign influence campaigns off of x this was one of the final things that
00:29:49.840charlie ever tweeted he did that did so on september 4th 2025 just six days just six days
00:29:58.660before his murder and rich you know i know you've seen this i know you've talked about this when you
00:30:06.360see these influence campaigns come up on X, when you see the influence of this, people have to
00:30:12.020understand it has no impact whatsoever on the electorate, does it? It really doesn't. And I
00:30:19.940wish that lawmakers and elected officials would understand that more. Reality impacts what the
00:30:25.240electorate thinks and how they're going to vote and what they're going to do and the views they're
00:30:28.880going to hold. I actually remember that tweet from Charlie. And putting it in context, if you
00:30:35.800guys remember the president was engaged in you know basically using tariffs as a trade negotiation
00:30:41.080strategy which uh which is widely supported in the rust belt despite what you see from some other
00:30:46.160legacy and media pollsters that was widely popular popular in the rust belt and i've tried to carry
00:30:52.320that torch um you know at that time it was india of course we talk a lot about israel now if you
00:30:58.480bring up israel's 750 million dollar hasbarah campaign which includes that uh time magazine
00:31:04.960had an article, people go nuts. But my message is very clear, Jack. Farrah should extend to social
00:31:10.980media and we shouldn't pick and choose like some of the others. We're not even going to say their
00:31:16.680names. They've come after you before. They pick on Qatar or they pick on India. And then of course
00:31:23.920you have some who pick on Israel with it. My message has been clear that this should be a0.98
00:31:28.540blanket application. Some lawyers already argue that that's what the law does, but I think it's
00:31:34.300obvious, Jack, because we see it every day on this site. And I'm so glad to see X take this up
00:31:39.440because this is becoming a burden on their product. I was looking at Mike Sernovich. He
00:31:45.280tweeted earlier this morning. Well, this morning for me, Mike, it's probably not even the sun up
00:31:50.260by him when he tweeted that at that point. But he said, you know, I block people for X number
00:31:55.200of reasons. And for all of the time I've been on X, I don't like blocking. And the reason was
00:32:00.140simple i felt like it you know i'm with charlie on this i don't want to stymie debate at all
00:32:04.400and i thought it was counterproductive but i said this morning i may have to rethink it
00:32:09.100mike may be right because the site itself is getting so polluted by foreign money they're not
00:32:14.920they're not you know earnest actors these are bad faith actors and they're paid to do it so some
00:32:20.660people are just not even worth engaging with anymore and i don't want to see that jack do you
00:32:25.000no way no no none of us do yeah no and of course you know we also don't want you know we want it
00:32:33.300to be a site for discourse and we want it to be a site where we can actually get kind of that pulse
00:32:37.780of the people and when you're dealing with bots or you're dealing with people and especially
00:32:41.860influencers by the way who should know better influencers who have audiences that they built
00:32:47.620ostensibly by being you know mega supporters or at least um you know public mega supporters
00:32:54.980regardless of you know what they may believe in their uh you know their private lives but but
00:33:00.260that's kind of the point right because you don't want and and by the way some of these have been
00:33:04.760very you know uh just obnoxious like this one here about you know the one that charlie was talking
00:33:10.820about where people were like you know tariffs are good and all but and i support trump but i don't
00:33:15.740think we should have tariffs on india at all like wait what are you talking about i think there was
00:33:21.080one that was going around that was also india that i remember um that was like very very obvious
00:33:26.580where they were talking about indian motorcycles or something do you remember this one where it
00:33:31.460was like oh yeah gosh i i used to think that harley davidson was the best but now i can't
00:33:37.580you know i can't leave home without my indian motorcycle it's so obvious jack you know i mean
00:33:45.740for those of us to have been on this site for man more than like that it's like that wayne's
00:33:50.180sketch where he's just like eating the doritos like putting the bag right in front of the camera
00:33:54.780exactly it's just it's right in your face uh so there's really you know there's no debating but
00:34:01.600unfortunately there are still those like users out there anyway like there's social media site users
00:34:07.380that may not know what they're looking at they may not so it's it's just prudent and best if
00:34:14.560If we know that somebody has filed with FARA and something on Exxon, their posts, kind of like the paid partnership, that idea, something has to have a FARA, not violation, but a FARA disclaimer.
00:34:29.040Even the paid partnership idea was good, doesn't go far enough when it comes to Foreign Agents Registration Act.
00:34:35.460I mean, it's very important for Americans and we shouldn't be alone, by the way.
00:34:39.260other countries, their citizens should know whether there's a foreign power paying one of0.63
00:34:44.340their favorite influencers to write garbage on the website all day. And people should know that.0.73
00:34:49.860That should be disclaimed, Jack. Come on. This would be a no-brainer. I mean, sometimes it's
00:34:53.780obvious to you and I, but it's not always obvious to everybody. And I've been calling for this for
00:34:59.260the better part, more than a year now. For probably a few months, every single day, I would
00:35:07.360tweet out here's the daily reminder that we need to make sure far extends to this site it just got
00:35:13.340so gross and so in your face after a while dorito bag right in your face yeah and and it's it's it's0.97
00:35:21.720it's ridiculous and especially when we're in a situation where we do have iran uh going on0.99
00:35:27.880it's kicked off again uh i i understand there's a mediator and it's it's you know it's it's like0.79
00:35:32.860one of those uh it's like one of those on again off again relationships i think you know the war
00:35:37.920is on again the war is off again the war is on again the war is off again and you know you're
00:35:42.720you're trying to figure out exactly where we're at but 10 nights of no strikes at the end of the day
00:35:48.680i have to think that rich win and you're probably the same way you know this this really comes down
00:35:54.320to the thesis of your new book, Burn It Down, because people aren't actually following the
00:36:02.780day-to-day of this. They just want to hear, are you fighting for me or are you fighting
00:36:08.080for something overseas? And that's kind of their lens for looking at any of this. They're not
00:36:15.440asking, is it good for American interest? People don't even go that far.
00:36:21.000In the book, too, and I appreciate you bringing this up.
00:36:23.880In the book, we go into a lot of detail about generational differences and how quickly that will have a very big impact on the electorate and how much harder it will be for one party or the other to win elections if they don't position themselves correctly.
00:36:37.440And often, a lot of times, the boomers get picked on for this, right?
00:36:41.260But the truth is, it's not even, you know, this war posture, this hawkish war posture that so many are trying to return to isn't really even popular among them anymore.
00:36:52.560I mean, it's a, we can call it affectionately, the Fox Boomer Con.
00:36:57.240They're a minority even of boomers, right?
00:37:00.380So the data, even them in their day-to-day lives, they're not looking at, you know, how many strikes and I want to watch the war on TV.
00:44:41.760Trump's appeal with working class Hispanics, especially those who identify as independents, who are moderate, he won big with these men, specifically younger men.
00:44:52.680And that's something that Republicans should have been focused on like a laser that we also have to make sure that those men come out for us too.
00:45:03.020I mean, there's almost there's at this point, you know, since the era of immigration has somewhat subsided, Jack, they should be taking advantage solely of that state to state migration should be winning over those Trump voters.
00:45:15.380And we should be seeing our plus six to 15 victories again in that state.
00:46:37.420I'm just simply saying that Biggs is definitely more MAGA.
00:46:40.200And after Katie Hobbs, you're going to need MAGA.
00:46:43.920You know, I'm just saying that, you know, when it comes down to it, the House races, congressional races are very tough.
00:46:50.340They're very tricky also to understand.
00:46:53.280And one of my favorite anecdotes is that Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all ran for Congress and lost before going on to become president.
00:47:05.820So it just goes to show you that to your point about the candidate, about the district, about the timing, all of the fundraising, all of those things need to be aligned or you're not going to win one of these races.
00:47:17.380especially in a district like this even after the redistricting war jack i mean republicans did
00:47:23.380very well i think they did better than even a lot of us expected but you know in an environment uh
00:47:29.420which is essentially a second term incumbent midterm it's tough and you really have to put
00:47:34.360your best foot forward it's definitely not impossible which is why you know i sit on
00:47:38.220these shows and do this every day uh in the hopes that you give people advice that that they take
00:47:43.260and they run with because it'll make their life easier it'll make their november easier and
00:47:47.240their wednesday morning at the very least less painful and when it comes to congressional races
00:47:51.860it does all the stars have to align they really do and there's to be viable candidates they have
00:47:55.860to be ready for prime time and unfortunately part of that viability is whether you can raise money
00:48:00.120rich barris where can people go to follow you jack we're everywhere coming in on the gram
00:48:05.780at peoples underscore pundit same thing on x but the best place is peoplespundit.locals.com
00:48:11.300and go pre-order burn it down on amazon coming in hot on the gram folks give them a follow
00:48:16.960Well, ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
